- 0:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Favorite time of week,
- 0:05Speaker 1: get download the crazy scenes, You get you something to
- 0:07Speaker 1: drink and ness the lid, and you get ready to
- 0:10Speaker 1: talk to some college football. I'm Mark, I'm here in
- 0:12Speaker 1: the college football podcasting studios. Scotti's an oh, brother, how
- 0:15Speaker 1: the hell are you?
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm good, buddy. How you doing good?
- 0:20Speaker 1: Brother? We are halfway through the college football season and
- 0:23Speaker 1: things are starting to take some shape. It's interesting where
- 0:27Speaker 1: we are right now the SEC typically and you and
- 0:30Speaker 1: I as lifetime of seventeen years podcasting, I feel like
- 0:34Speaker 1: we've always kind of had a picture of how the
- 0:36Speaker 1: SEC is gonna end up, and it's all the other
- 0:39Speaker 1: conferences that are jumbled best. The SEC is a jumbled
- 0:42Speaker 1: best at the top early and there's some big names
- 0:46Speaker 1: up there. There's some unexpected names up there, and you're
- 0:50Speaker 1: starting to see that, and so man, I'm excited to
- 0:52Speaker 1: see where we are. We're on the last stretch of
- 0:55Speaker 1: this thing. But what you take away from last weekend.
- 0:59Speaker 2: You know, I love I thought there were some fun
- 1:01Speaker 2: games to watch. Alabama and Missouri was exactly what I
- 1:08Speaker 2: thought it was gonna be. The hook was a huge
- 1:10Speaker 2: different one. I love that line so much, but Missouri
- 1:14Speaker 2: had every opportunity to win that ball game. You look
- 1:16Speaker 2: at the last play when he throws the pick, He's
- 1:19Speaker 2: got a dude wide open that he missed that puts
- 1:23Speaker 2: them in field goal range. I mean when I say
- 1:25Speaker 2: wide open, I mean uncovered, wide open, like he just
- 1:28Speaker 2: ran a hook route and it's standing on the sideline,
- 1:31Speaker 2: uncovered and put them in field goal range with a
- 1:35Speaker 2: chance to tie that game. Missoo had plenty of chances,
- 1:38Speaker 2: just not as good a quarterback as Simpson. Buddy, if
- 1:41Speaker 2: you listened in August, that kid's doing exactly what I
- 1:44Speaker 2: thought he was going to do. Coaches kid saw video
- 1:47Speaker 2: of him this week talking about one time when he
- 1:49Speaker 2: was struggling, you know, hadn't gotten the job, and his
- 1:52Speaker 2: dad just happened to be in town and basically said
- 1:55Speaker 2: he was almost in tears. And if you see it
- 1:58Speaker 2: on Instagram and you get a chance to watch it,
- 2:00Speaker 2: I highly encourage you to watch it. You want to
- 2:03Speaker 2: know why that kids having success. Just watch that video
- 2:05Speaker 2: and it'll tell you why this kid's earned his time.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Auburn and Georgia. We didn't get the cover, but that
- 2:13Speaker 2: game was exactly what I thought it was hooker Hughes
- 2:16Speaker 2: last stand. He wasn't able to stand. Should have won
- 2:19Speaker 2: that ball game, but I got two chances. Yes, I
- 2:22Speaker 2: think it was a touchdown. Don't care that you didn't score.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You have sixty minutes. You have thirty minutes worth of football.
- 2:29Speaker 2: You have to be a team that can regain its composure.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You dominated Georgia for thirty minutes. You can't come out
- 2:35Speaker 2: and get dominated the way they got dominated in the
- 2:38Speaker 2: second half. One play never wins or loses a football game.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's a sixty minute ball game. Make all excuses you want.
- 2:45Speaker 2: You had plenty of opportunities to stop Georgia, you didn't
- 2:48Speaker 2: and you certainly couldn't do anything on offense. And Jackson
- 2:52Speaker 2: Arnold is incapable of throwing the forward pass. He looks
- 2:56Speaker 2: like a video from nineteen twenty football. I mean, he
- 3:00Speaker 2: can't hit a running back six yards in front of him.
- 3:03Speaker 2: It's awful. I think it's mental at this point. It's
- 3:06Speaker 2: like he's got a hitch or something. He's so I
- 3:10Speaker 2: mean so insecure about his ability and how he feels
- 3:13Speaker 2: back there. There's no way that kid's that bad. I mean,
- 3:18Speaker 2: it's like remember when remember when what's the old second
- 3:22Speaker 2: baseman for uh Steve Harvey. None of West not block
- 3:28Speaker 2: was one of them. Yeah sacks. They couldn't make the
- 3:32Speaker 2: throw to first base from second base. It was like
- 3:35Speaker 2: it was going in the dugout half the time, completely mental.
- 3:39Speaker 2: That's the way I feel it is with Jackson Arnold
- 3:41Speaker 2: at this point throwing the football. You talk about seeing ghosts.
- 3:45Speaker 2: That guy is seeing ghosts, and I mean he can't
- 3:47Speaker 2: make a read past one.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It's interesting that you say that because I and I forget,
- 3:53Speaker 1: because I have done this with you for so long
- 3:55Speaker 1: now that I don't really I mean, I have fandom.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I mean I get excited when Baylor's good or text
- 4:00Speaker 1: having a great season because my wife and kids. I sure,
- 4:03Speaker 1: were you at State whatever, But I look at the
- 4:06Speaker 1: game completely differently than I did twenty years ago, and
- 4:08Speaker 1: so I don't have as much just core fandom that
- 4:10Speaker 1: I did. But when you talk to someone who's just
- 4:13Speaker 1: a die hard fan of a team, I e Auburn
- 4:16Speaker 1: as an example. I went into the season saying you
- 4:18Speaker 1: and I were kind of on different pages there. I
- 4:20Speaker 1: couldn't buy into completely where you were with Auburn, and
- 4:22Speaker 1: I was like, I don't know if there's teams that good.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And I tried to tell for some friends of mine
- 4:27Speaker 1: after the Tech Baylor game. I was like, I said,
- 4:30Speaker 1: he's pretty good. I go, the kid just got Baylor's
- 4:32Speaker 1: defense awful. I go, more so than y'll, they're good.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And as the thing progressed on, I was like, this
- 4:37Speaker 1: kid sucks balls. Dude, It's like he can't I said,
- 4:40Speaker 1: he can't see the field. I said, I've been telling you, Mark,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I said, I if you're if you're the SEC and
- 4:45Speaker 1: you can't see the field, you're you're deep shit shit,
- 4:49Speaker 1: say Mark.
- 4:51Speaker 2: If they have Blake shape in a quarterback, they're undefeated. Probably,
- 4:55Speaker 2: I mean they're undefeated. They are. That team is really good.
- 5:00Speaker 2: The video out there of Nick Saban talking about when
- 5:02Speaker 2: he was a high school player and his high school
- 5:05Speaker 2: coach told him he was a fourth down and you know,
- 5:08Speaker 2: he's like, he was calling plays cat on the field
- 5:11Speaker 2: and he says the coach tells him, well, you got
- 5:15Speaker 2: an all state guy over here, you got an all state guy
- 5:17Speaker 2: over there. One of them needs to get the ball.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And he said he ran a play action pass that
- 5:21Speaker 2: faked it to one and he threw it to the
- 5:23Speaker 2: other guy and he said, that's where I learned that
- 5:26Speaker 2: when the game's on the line, you give it to
- 5:28Speaker 2: your playmakers. That's what I think. That's the only way
- 5:31Speaker 2: Jackson Arnold's ever going to get out of this funk.
- 5:33Speaker 2: If he gets out of it, he's got two. One
- 5:37Speaker 2: is a real stud. So I mean, Singleton's a great player,
- 5:41Speaker 2: but he's more of a twitch man. Coleman, that dude
- 5:45Speaker 2: is a freakazoid. And you made the comment jokingly off
- 5:48Speaker 2: air last year that he was going to look great
- 5:51Speaker 2: in old misuniform next year. For Lane Kiffin, that's entirely possible.
- 5:55Speaker 2: At the end of the day. That kid's a freak
- 5:57Speaker 2: azoid throwing the damn ball when you don't know what
- 6:00Speaker 2: to do, throw him the ball. He's got a i'd
- 6:04Speaker 2: say better than fifty to fifty chants of coming down
- 6:07Speaker 2: with it. Auburn's got to figure out or Jackson Arnold
- 6:10Speaker 2: more than Auburn has got to figure out how to
- 6:12Speaker 2: get it. They are a bad football team, but a
- 6:14Speaker 2: really talented football team. They're bad at the quarterback spot,
- 6:18Speaker 2: and Jackson Arnold's going to be back in the portal
- 6:21Speaker 2: and he's going up at you know who knows where
- 6:23Speaker 2: because he's certainly not going to be on the planes.
- 6:25Speaker 2: But last week was a fun week. Texas Tech exactly
- 6:28Speaker 2: what we thought. We had a big environment there. I
- 6:31Speaker 2: think I was homecoming for the Red Raiders man the
- 6:34Speaker 2: good football team there. How we didn't cover the over
- 6:37Speaker 2: on Tennessee Arkansas. Oh, I mean, you've gotta be kidding me.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Arkansas was in FT in the second half. Interesting to
- 6:46Speaker 2: I see see that ball game finish out. Just some
- 6:50Speaker 2: great football last week. I loved that USC game, that
- 6:54Speaker 2: South Carolina game. Both those games what I thought Elishu's
- 6:57Speaker 2: not very good. I can't leave their this bad on offense.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I don't know how they can't find a running back.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And then you look at one of the kids at
- 7:05Speaker 2: Texas A and M's Louis.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Last week was their best rushing week they've had all seasons.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Oh I know.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I mean Kayden Durham rush for seventy eight yards.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Seventy eight yards.
- 7:15Speaker 1: The offensive line is a problem with the fact that
- 7:18Speaker 1: they can't get the ball down field with those wide receivers,
- 7:21Speaker 1: and I keep waiting for him to pop. But I
- 7:23Speaker 1: feel like now at this point we're seven games in.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I mean, you are who you are at this point.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You know, it's like in the evolution for them to
- 7:31Speaker 1: move from where LSU is now to a team that
- 7:34Speaker 1: I think could win the national championship, which I did
- 7:36Speaker 1: think coming to the season. I don't know that it's there.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I mean their defense is suffocating, but offensively they just
- 7:43Speaker 1: they're challenged at best.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you know another game mark that I think is interesting,
- 7:49Speaker 2: how about Jonathan Smith already getting run at this is
- 7:53Speaker 2: turning in to lose to Jerry new heisl and you
- 7:55Speaker 2: get fired show but a stun. They cut baits fast,
- 8:01Speaker 2: but they fired him. Yeah, they're done. I didn't see that,
- 8:06Speaker 2: so just a huge job or well, let me rephrase that.
- 8:09Speaker 2: There's so much bogus crap out there. I've seen it
- 8:12Speaker 2: a couple of times on X. Actually did not research it,
- 8:15Speaker 2: so verify that when I say that, But I think
- 8:19Speaker 2: they've cut I think they've cut bait, and if not,
- 8:21Speaker 2: they're certainly close to cutting bait.
- 8:24Speaker 1: No, he's still there.
- 8:26Speaker 2: They kept him. Well, let me say this again, that's
- 8:28Speaker 2: what I get to. The that tells you that Michigan
- 8:33Speaker 2: State's done with him. You know, the fan base is
- 8:36Speaker 2: done with him. So that's a that's only a matter
- 8:38Speaker 2: of time obviously Sunbelt Billy or do we get the
- 8:41Speaker 2: last stand of sun Belt Billy this week for his
- 8:43Speaker 2: players or do they just mail it in? I would
- 8:46Speaker 2: touch that Missippi State line with anything, because I think
- 8:48Speaker 2: if they give a last stand, they cover, and they
- 8:51Speaker 2: cover easy, they lay down States can win that game
- 8:54Speaker 2: by two touchdowns. So who knows what you're gonna get
- 8:57Speaker 2: down there? Some fun, some fun games last week that
- 9:01Speaker 2: was a fun weekend. Did not expect Arizona State's defense
- 9:06Speaker 2: to lay down and play dead like they did without
- 9:09Speaker 2: their quarterback. I mean that defense just mailed it in
- 9:13Speaker 2: against a pretty one dimensional team in Utah. That tells
- 9:19Speaker 2: me they are rally the troops against the Red Raiders
- 9:24Speaker 2: this weekend. But the question is are they good enough?
- 9:26Speaker 2: And I gotta tell you, I don't think a team
- 9:28Speaker 2: that loses to Mississippi State's gonna be good enough to
- 9:30Speaker 2: beat the Red Raiders on the road or not. I
- 9:32Speaker 2: ain't Texas text pretty good. I think they're team you're
- 9:36Speaker 2: gonna find out this weekend they go on the road
- 9:39Speaker 2: and they're as impressive as they've looked all year again
- 9:43Speaker 2: this week, Because I do, I think it's a rally
- 9:45Speaker 2: the Troops kind of game Levitt could have played last week.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I think they wanted him to be healthy for the
- 9:49Speaker 2: home game. I think they thought a road lost to
- 9:51Speaker 2: Utah was better than a home lost to Texas Tech.
- 9:53Speaker 2: That's really what I believe.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You may be right. TeX's got to you know, Gildas
- 9:58Speaker 1: Howard's out and the Romela height may be out too,
- 10:02Speaker 1: so they could be down two of those four in
- 10:04Speaker 1: the offensive front. But that defensive front for Texas Tech
- 10:07Speaker 1: has proved to be strong and that's what's carried in
- 10:10Speaker 1: and so we'll see. I don't know if it's gonna
- 10:11Speaker 1: make the ticket this week or not, but let's dive in. Brother.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm excited another good week of football. You got a
- 10:17Speaker 1: big slate, even starting Friday night Thursday, you got Tulsa
- 10:21Speaker 1: East Carolina. I'm gonna pass. I got no idea what's
- 10:24Speaker 1: going on over there. I've tried to play East Carolina
- 10:26Speaker 1: twice and I've been on the wrong side of it
- 10:28Speaker 1: both times. But Friday night, man, you've got four games,
- 10:31Speaker 1: and they're obviously very interesting. Louisville plus thirteen and a
- 10:34Speaker 1: half traveling down to Coral Gables to play Miami over
- 10:37Speaker 1: under here is fifteen and a half. Miami to me
- 10:40Speaker 1: is the number one team in the country. Them in
- 10:43Speaker 1: Ohio State obviously wanted to. But Ruben Bain's that defensive tackle,
- 10:47Speaker 1: defensive end that Miami's got. That guy's an absolute peace.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He's the only player in the country better than the
- 10:53Speaker 1: two defensive ends that are two defensive linemen the Texas
- 10:56Speaker 1: Tech has. They're getting it done out there. In every
- 11:00Speaker 1: buddy looked at this team, it's like, Oh, how are
- 11:02Speaker 1: we going to get it done? Miami is a wagon, dude. Now,
- 11:04Speaker 1: thirteen and a half is a lot of points. If
- 11:06Speaker 1: Jeff bron does Jeff Brown thinks, and you can get
- 11:09Speaker 1: it done here. But I just kind of wonder if
- 11:11Speaker 1: the Louisville offensive line is not great, and I don't
- 11:14Speaker 1: know how it's going to stand up for the Miami
- 11:16Speaker 1: pass rush. And I don't know how. I don't know
- 11:18Speaker 1: how loul was going to generate a lot of offense here.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I mean, I know they're scoring thirty six points a game,
- 11:23Speaker 1: but they haven't you know, but they haven't covered. They're
- 11:25Speaker 1: one and four against the number. And I would lean Miami,
- 11:28Speaker 1: but I have no play in this game.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah, my gut tells me, it's just too many points,
- 11:34Speaker 2: and that really as much that has as much to
- 11:37Speaker 2: do with brom kind of rallying the troops every time
- 11:41Speaker 2: they have a big game like this. I think this
- 11:43Speaker 2: number is too big. But I think Miami may be
- 11:46Speaker 2: the best team in the country. Let me say this,
- 11:48Speaker 2: they're the most complete team in the country that isn't
- 11:52Speaker 2: named Ohio State. And I think at the quarterback spot
- 11:55Speaker 2: they're more developed, and they're pretty darn close at every
- 11:59Speaker 2: other spot on the offfensive side of the ball and
- 12:01Speaker 2: ability as Ohio State, so they might even be a
- 12:04Speaker 2: little bit more complete of a team. But boy, them
- 12:08Speaker 2: in Ohio State looked like the class of the deal.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And and Indiana certainly being the third best team. Don't
- 12:14Speaker 2: know how you make any argument those aren't the three
- 12:16Speaker 2: best though at this point.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Uh. The other game we got in that same early
- 12:20Speaker 1: time slide, Nebraska's traveling to Minnesota lyne here seven and
- 12:24Speaker 1: a half over under forty seven and a half. Nebraska's
- 12:28Speaker 1: five and one straight up two and four against the
- 12:30Speaker 1: number of Minnesota's four and two straight up one four
- 12:32Speaker 1: and one against the number Minnesota quietly, both of these
- 12:36Speaker 1: teams quietly, nobody's really talking about I ain't kind of
- 12:40Speaker 1: like the home team here getting some points. You got
- 12:42Speaker 1: any action here?
- 12:43Speaker 2: No, not really. I think I'm I think I'm I
- 12:46Speaker 2: think I'm good here too.
- 12:49Speaker 1: You don't want to get on PJ. Fleck and row
- 12:51Speaker 1: the boat with that motherfucker.
- 12:52Speaker 2: My gut tells me that's too much. I mean, it
- 12:55Speaker 2: really does. I don't know. Yeah, maybe I am on
- 12:58Speaker 2: row the boat. I mean, look, I've had this game
- 13:01Speaker 2: written down, but I just can't get comfortable. At the
- 13:05Speaker 2: end of the day. I don't know who Nebraska is.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Well, I'm the same way with Minnesota because they can't
- 13:11Speaker 1: run the ball.
- 13:12Speaker 2: They can't run the ball, and they've always been able
- 13:13Speaker 2: to run the ball. So that's my thing. I just
- 13:16Speaker 2: can't figure out who either one of these teams are
- 13:18Speaker 2: probably gonna sit. Again, this feels like too many points,
- 13:23Speaker 2: but that's if I'm gonna play it. I take the points.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Are you gonna get it? Involved in the bill Belly game?
- 13:29Speaker 1: And Cal Cal laying ten? Cal is laying ten to
- 13:33Speaker 1: North Carolina.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Let's late night, Friday night, baby, you gotta love it. Look,
- 13:40Speaker 2: if I take it, I'm taking Cal. Let me say
- 13:42Speaker 2: it like that. I ain't taking Belichick that thinks a disaster,
- 13:49Speaker 2: that's it's worth. Look you know that. I thought it
- 13:51Speaker 2: was gonna be a total disease. I thought this was
- 13:53Speaker 2: the worst tire ever. This is a guy who's gruff
- 13:56Speaker 2: and hard to deal with the NFL guys. The hell
- 13:59Speaker 2: you think he's gonna coach eighteen nineteen to twenty year
- 14:01Speaker 2: old kids that can hit the portal with no contract.
- 14:04Speaker 2: You gotta be kidding me. I thought this was gonna
- 14:06Speaker 2: be a disaster, and it's even bigger than I thought
- 14:08Speaker 2: it was gonna be.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I think his girlfriend's only like three months older than
- 14:12Speaker 1: Max Johnson, who's gonna be starting a quarterback this week.
- 14:16Speaker 2: He is. That's exactly right. He's basically the same age
- 14:18Speaker 2: as Max Johnson. Got to love that first game.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I gotta play on. It's my favorite team in the
- 14:23Speaker 1: back this year. There are three and three, two and
- 14:25Speaker 1: three against the number, but they're playing U Mass, who's
- 14:28Speaker 1: zero to six gets straight up and one and five
- 14:31Speaker 1: against the number. U Mess has only scored nine points
- 14:34Speaker 1: a game and they're giving up thirty seven. They're matching
- 14:37Speaker 1: up with a Buffalo team here that I think, now
- 14:39Speaker 1: that we're into mac play, I think this is the
- 14:42Speaker 1: best team in the back. I know you're big on Ohio,
- 14:45Speaker 1: but I like Buffalo laying sixteen and a half. I
- 14:47Speaker 1: know it's on the road, but Amherst is in a
- 14:50Speaker 1: tough place to play. I think Buffalo gets right in
- 14:53Speaker 1: this spot and just rolls these shit out of the
- 14:55Speaker 1: mid events.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. Talking of the MAC, I also
- 14:59Speaker 2: like Miami Ohio. I think those three teams are clearly
- 15:01Speaker 2: the best when Fin's healthy. I think Miami Ohio is
- 15:05Speaker 2: really good too. But I agree with you here. Think
- 15:08Speaker 2: Buffalo's gonna put wood on you mass make play of
- 15:11Speaker 2: the week. Baby, back at.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It rolling through the board. You got a couple of more.
- 15:17Speaker 1: South Florida is at home hosted Florida Atlantic. I don't
- 15:21Speaker 1: know why you have this came on, but if you've
- 15:23Speaker 1: got a four screen, you're throw it on. There's gonna
- 15:25Speaker 1: be a ton of points in this one. I think
- 15:27Speaker 1: South Florida May twenty one and a half is a
- 15:30Speaker 1: lot of points against this Florida Atlantic team. You got
- 15:32Speaker 1: old Zach Kittley, the old offensive coordinator from Texas Tech
- 15:35Speaker 1: down there, and these guys will throw it and throw
- 15:38Speaker 1: it and throw it, throw it. There's games that go
- 15:40Speaker 1: on forever. In that one, I don't have any play,
- 15:43Speaker 1: but it might be fun to watch the over under
- 15:45Speaker 1: in that one seventy three and a half. And you
- 15:47Speaker 1: got to remember, South Florida is still looking for a
- 15:49Speaker 1: shot to get into the tournament, and you know, with
- 15:53Speaker 1: their record and what people are gonna remember from the
- 15:55Speaker 1: beginning of the season, if they pull this off, then
- 15:57Speaker 1: I think they got a chance to do it. So
- 16:00Speaker 1: and also, I love the coach of South Florida. You've
- 16:02Speaker 1: gotta believe that he is. If they're firing Napier Alex
- 16:06Speaker 1: Golidship at Florida's, South Florida's gotta be number one or
- 16:09Speaker 1: two on their list, unless you're gonna try to go
- 16:11Speaker 1: bring in a big name coach from somewhere.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Oh, I think they're I think they're Lane. I think
- 16:15Speaker 2: Florida's gonna be looking Lane Kiffin, gonna be looking Gruden,
- 16:20Speaker 2: They're gonna be They're gonna be looking somebody like that.
- 16:22Speaker 2: But I think Golich or Gorsh or what however you
- 16:26Speaker 2: say his last name is uh is certainly right at
- 16:29Speaker 2: the top because he's earned it. The thing about this game,
- 16:31Speaker 2: don't forget this is the This is more of a
- 16:34Speaker 2: rivalry than than people. Remember, this is what got this
- 16:39Speaker 2: is what got Tom Herman fired. Basically when golis just
- 16:43Speaker 2: I had ith one game, just rolls by and talk
- 16:48Speaker 2: to him. He's chasing him like a little girl, chasing
- 16:50Speaker 2: him like a little girl. It was hilarious. I was
- 16:55Speaker 2: last year, wasn't That wasn't that last year year? So
- 16:59Speaker 2: but anyway, great game. But anyway, that's uh, that's a
- 17:04Speaker 2: big rivalry. So actually a game that I'll have a
- 17:07Speaker 2: little bit of interest in.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Look at these Ohio laying ten and a half to
- 17:13Speaker 1: Northern Illinois. Boy, Northern Illinois bad this season. I would
- 17:17Speaker 1: lead to lay in the points with Ohio at home
- 17:20Speaker 1: in this one. It doesn't look like you're gonna get
- 17:22Speaker 1: too much weather there. But yeah, Northern Illinois is just
- 17:25Speaker 1: a shell of who this team normally is, which is
- 17:28Speaker 1: kind of surprising to me.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you on that. I like Ohio.
- 17:31Speaker 1: There old Domino James Madison in the Sun Belt matchup.
- 17:35Speaker 1: This is a big game, but old Domino, how about
- 17:38Speaker 1: like look ahead, Sandwich just gets their ass handed to
- 17:42Speaker 1: it last week from a Marshall team that no one's
- 17:45Speaker 1: thinking about. After looking like they might be legit and
- 17:48Speaker 1: James Madison just kind of came out and workmanlike took
- 17:51Speaker 1: care of business. I'd lay it. I'd lay one and
- 17:52Speaker 1: a half with James Madison. So I don't official play
- 17:55Speaker 1: on it, but I would lay it with James Madison
- 17:57Speaker 1: the spot.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Watch the bounce back from Ricky Ronnie, watch out. They
- 18:01Speaker 2: laid down rivalry games matter.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Oh my God, give me, give me the Dukes, Go
- 18:08Speaker 3: Dukes baby in this one.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I gotta get to some games. We're actually bet on here,
- 18:12Speaker 1: all right? You Cod plus one and a half against
- 18:15Speaker 1: Boston College. I think Boston College is done. I think
- 18:18Speaker 1: Bill O'Brien's did. This is one of the worst Power
- 18:21Speaker 1: five teams in the country, maybe the worst Power five
- 18:24Speaker 1: team in the country. Uh power four, excuse me. And
- 18:27Speaker 1: this is a big game for Ukon they go on
- 18:29Speaker 1: the road. You're getting one and a half points. I'm
- 18:32Speaker 1: probably just gonna take this game straight up on the
- 18:34Speaker 1: buddy line. I'm going to go back and check some
- 18:36Speaker 1: injury reports, make sure everybody's rolling in this one. But
- 18:39Speaker 1: I really like yu Cod plus one and a half here.
- 18:41Speaker 2: This is more of a BC feels very very broken.
- 18:45Speaker 2: You could tell O'Brien didn't in that press conference, did
- 18:49Speaker 2: not look like he had any answers, you know, trying
- 18:53Speaker 2: to take a lot on himself. You know, it's our
- 18:56Speaker 2: fault when we do this and that, and at the
- 18:59Speaker 2: end of the day, it just feels like they don't
- 19:01Speaker 2: have the answers to fix this, to repair this puzzle.
- 19:05Speaker 1: No, and this is I mean, you got to think
- 19:07Speaker 1: with Yukon too coming in here, I mean, they couldn't
- 19:09Speaker 1: be more excited to play this game. I mean right
- 19:12Speaker 1: down the road, you know, let's put ourselves in that
- 19:14Speaker 1: Northeastern you.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Know, huge, huge opportunity for them.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, but BC has one win and I
- 19:21Speaker 1: think it was against four to the week one, so
- 19:23Speaker 1: I can't get there. Scotty s Mu plus five and
- 19:26Speaker 1: a half, six and a half, That line is cratering
- 19:28Speaker 1: as we speak. Clemsons mightus five and a half here
- 19:32Speaker 1: over Unders fifty one and a half. Clemson will be
- 19:35Speaker 1: playing with a backup quarterback. Best I can tell, Kate
- 19:37Speaker 1: Clubnick is out in this game. You're gonna roll with
- 19:40Speaker 1: SMU to take this one on the road. What's your
- 19:42Speaker 1: prediction here?
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yes, sir, I like smooth love, smooth nine and a half.
- 19:46Speaker 2: When this when this bad boy opened up down to
- 19:49Speaker 2: six and a half, I think, you, if you're gonna
- 19:52Speaker 2: bet it, you better take it and take it fast,
- 19:54Speaker 2: because I think that number is gonna keep going down.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Think think SMU is a live dog right here.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I would get down with that. I totally believe it.
- 20:01Speaker 1: That's that he needs to bounce back a little bit.
- 20:03Speaker 1: And I think it's not just for this team. But
- 20:06Speaker 1: if you're red to shay, you say whatever you want
- 20:08Speaker 1: to by coach. But he knows there's some big ass
- 20:11Speaker 1: jobs out there, Big Jim, you don't want to lay
- 20:14Speaker 1: an egg after going to the playoff. That's like, man,
- 20:16Speaker 1: if I can get my ass to eight and four,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I can get out of Dallas and probably land where
- 20:20Speaker 1: I want to.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Well, you know, Arkansas is gonna have some interest in him.
- 20:23Speaker 2: But here's the thing. There's a lot You're about to
- 20:26Speaker 2: have a lot of secondary jobs that start opening because
- 20:29Speaker 2: people leave. You tell me that damn old miss job
- 20:31Speaker 2: ain't gonna be a job people want as much as
- 20:33Speaker 2: they've got money in nil state. Mississippi's a great fertile
- 20:37Speaker 2: recruiting area. Oxford's right in the middle of it. You
- 20:40Speaker 2: gotta be kidninging. Man, that's gonna be a job that
- 20:42Speaker 2: people want because the success Kiffin's had, so I man,
- 20:46Speaker 2: and that Freeze had before him. So I think, uh,
- 20:50Speaker 2: you know, I think I think that's a job that
- 20:52Speaker 2: may open that a lot of people want, and it
- 20:56Speaker 2: moves dominoes. This is gonna be one of the craziest
- 20:59Speaker 2: coaching years ever because they're marquee jobs open and there's
- 21:05Speaker 2: a couple more that may open. I look, Oklahoma may open,
- 21:08Speaker 2: Auburn may open. You got I'd say Auburn's likely to open.
- 21:13Speaker 2: And you got to be kidding me, man. Those are
- 21:15Speaker 2: some big time jobs and some big time money.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Uh.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You got Stanford that's now starting to throw money. I mean,
- 21:22Speaker 2: you have a kidne me.
- 21:23Speaker 1: You know, Jonathan Smith gets fired at Michigan State and
- 21:27Speaker 1: because at Big John State is back to Oregon State.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Speaking of that, Michigan State going on the road to
- 21:34Speaker 1: play Indiana. There minus twenty seven and a half over
- 21:37Speaker 1: under here is fifty two and a half. This is
- 21:39Speaker 1: an Indiana team that we've bet, We've ridden with them
- 21:41Speaker 1: a couple of times now. We picked them opening weekend
- 21:43Speaker 1: against Old Domino and they just kind of couldn't quite
- 21:47Speaker 1: get it ready yet and playing with their food. But
- 21:50Speaker 1: since then, this team has scored fifty six seventy three,
- 21:54Speaker 1: sixty three twenty against Ioland, which might as well be
- 21:58Speaker 1: sixty when you're trying to be in Iowa, and then
- 22:01Speaker 1: thirty to twenty on the road at Audson Stadium last week.
- 22:04Speaker 1: They come home, they've got Michigan State the rank number
- 22:07Speaker 1: three in the country. Do you think SIGs Inside goes
- 22:10Speaker 1: straight with bulletball on this party here.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I think he hangs as many points on these guys
- 22:16Speaker 2: as he can hang. I think this game may I
- 22:19Speaker 2: think there's two games and the Big ten that maye ugly.
- 22:22Speaker 2: We're gonna talk about both of them, and I ain't
- 22:24Speaker 2: this is one of them. I ain't Michigan State's railing
- 22:27Speaker 2: a little bit. I think Signetti is all gas, no breaks.
- 22:32Speaker 2: He understands that this is a beauty contest and he's
- 22:35Speaker 2: gonna score as much as he can against anybody. You
- 22:39Speaker 2: win big games like you won on the road last week,
- 22:42Speaker 2: it just continues to build momentum. This would feel like
- 22:46Speaker 2: a flat spot against a team that lost to UCLA,
- 22:49Speaker 2: But when your top five, top six momentum carries you,
- 22:53Speaker 2: it just pushes you, and your fan base is at
- 22:55Speaker 2: an excitement level where they where they've never been. That's
- 22:59Speaker 2: how you keep playing at high levels sometimes when you
- 23:01Speaker 2: should not. Think Indiana goes full gas can against Michigan State.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Now I like it. I like it. Let's lay Indiana,
- 23:09Speaker 1: lay a lot of points, let's get it under four touchdowns.
- 23:11Speaker 1: But I think they absolutely cover this line. I think
- 23:13Speaker 1: whether it should be fine for what you're looking at.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Let's go to nash Vegas, baby, right at eleven o'clock.
- 23:19Speaker 1: God damn the SEC. The SEC scheduling is fantastic because
- 23:24Speaker 1: it's not just how they align the games to protect
- 23:27Speaker 1: some of these teams, it's when they put them in
- 23:29Speaker 1: this time slot.
- 23:31Speaker 2: So you take.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Bandy, You've got Vandy's laying two and a half against LSU.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Somebody I had to look this up to verify unless
- 23:38Speaker 1: you hasn't been the underdog against Vanderbilt since nineteen fifty eight.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yep, I'll tell you that.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll play every year. But here's what it is.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Over under here is forty eight and a half. Bandy's
- 23:49Speaker 1: laying two and a half. Both of these teams come
- 23:51Speaker 1: in five and one. Both of these teams come in ranked.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I don't even know the last two times these teams
- 23:56Speaker 1: play each other they were ranked. But well, looking at
- 23:59Speaker 1: this game, I don't I keep waiting for LSU's offense
- 24:03Speaker 1: to pop, like you and I've talked about. I said,
- 24:05Speaker 1: but I think by now you know who you are.
- 24:07Speaker 1: They just haven't done it. And I don't know what
- 24:09Speaker 1: this team's doing. And so I and I love Pavia,
- 24:14Speaker 1: but I'm going to lean to the under in this one.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna play the under forty.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Eight as I think we go under. I do think
- 24:20Speaker 2: Vandy may win this game, but I think the unders
- 24:22Speaker 2: the bet defense travels and LSU's got a good defense.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I don't think they're athletically good enough to really expose
- 24:30Speaker 2: those dbs. And I think LSU may create some turnovers here.
- 24:35Speaker 2: But I don't have any cop that look their defense US.
- 24:38Speaker 2: When I say USC, I mean South Carolina the SEC.
- 24:41Speaker 2: USC has a bad defense, and they looked they kept.
- 24:47Speaker 2: They hammered that team last week at home, and LSU
- 24:51Speaker 2: just has not been able to move the football on anybody.
- 24:53Speaker 2: There's no reason to think they're going to be able
- 24:55Speaker 2: to do it against a pretty good defense at Vanderbilt
- 24:58Speaker 2: Akkus is low scoring. I think it's a fighting phone booth.
- 25:00Speaker 2: First one to first, one to twenty four wins.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Oh Man, Scotty looking a couple of more down there.
- 25:07Speaker 1: UNLV's traveling up to Boisey talking about a guy that's
- 25:11Speaker 1: looking for a job, and Den Mullet six and oh
- 25:14Speaker 1: four and two against the number, just quietly out there
- 25:18Speaker 1: in the desert. Undefeated. You could call him fraudulent with
- 25:21Speaker 1: this six and oh record, because if you watch this
- 25:23Speaker 1: UNLV team, they have pulled some wins out of their ass.
- 25:26Speaker 2: They go on playing, doesn't get hurt at Miami, and
- 25:29Speaker 2: they got one loss. I'll tell you that because I
- 25:31Speaker 2: watched every second of that game.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Uh boise State, and to suspense their four and two.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Their two losses are to South Florida and the Notre
- 25:39Speaker 1: Dame and really the Notre Dame game, and the only
- 25:42Speaker 1: two games that they've lost they just offense just got
- 25:44Speaker 1: shut down. Now, the one thing you're not going to
- 25:47Speaker 1: experience when you play UNLB is your offense getting shut
- 25:50Speaker 1: down their defense that gives up thirty points a game
- 25:52Speaker 1: where you got any action in this thing here, I
- 25:55Speaker 1: kind of have to leave, and I feel like you're
- 25:56Speaker 1: gonna ride with me.
- 25:57Speaker 2: On it numbers too big. I think UNLV is able
- 26:00Speaker 2: score enough to keep up. I think that's what the
- 26:02Speaker 2: I think that's what the difference is. I ain't UNLV
- 26:04Speaker 2: could win this ball game, I really do. And you
- 26:07Speaker 2: don't say that very much. At twelve and a half
- 26:09Speaker 2: point dogs all it takes a turnover or two. That's
- 26:12Speaker 2: all it takes. And uh and and and and that's
- 26:16Speaker 2: the thing about this un l V defense. They're a sieve.
- 26:20Speaker 2: They can't stop anybody, but they have created a few turnovers,
- 26:23Speaker 2: so that's a that that could be. What is the
- 26:26Speaker 2: difference of the game. I just think this numbers too much.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Is Boise team's not as good as it's been in
- 26:30Speaker 2: the past. You know, they don't go the Boise teams
- 26:34Speaker 2: that that that that we're used to seeing don't go
- 26:36Speaker 2: on the road get pounded the way they got pounded
- 26:38Speaker 2: at us F And last week should have been a
- 26:41Speaker 2: cover spot because as a flat spot for Notre Dame,
- 26:43Speaker 2: and they still pounded them, you know, because Notre Dame's
- 26:46Speaker 2: got sc this week, So that that in the self
- 26:49Speaker 2: tells you Boise he's not Bois. Yeah. I like UNO V.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Plus the twelve and a half. By the way, the
- 26:55Speaker 2: side note on side note on Dan Mullen his dream
- 26:58Speaker 2: job Penn State. And I saw where urban Meyer came
- 27:02Speaker 2: out this week and said, you know, you ought to
- 27:05Speaker 2: be considering me. He's from the Northeast. A lot of
- 27:07Speaker 2: people don't think he's a Northeast guy. Blah blah blah blah.
- 27:10Speaker 2: That's their basement. And when you got a job opening
- 27:13Speaker 2: and a guy like Dan Mullen is your basement, you're
- 27:17Speaker 2: a pretty damn good job. That tests you all you
- 27:20Speaker 2: need to know. That's the worst they can do. And
- 27:23Speaker 2: I think he would do a great job up there.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Oh Dan, give me some Dan tell you man, James
- 27:32Speaker 1: Franklin is going to come through the ESPN or Fox
- 27:34Speaker 1: car wash and he'll lay it in a big time job.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Don't be surprised if he's not at UCLA in three
- 27:39Speaker 1: years coaching.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. If if if Levy Lee's
- 27:43Speaker 2: because I've heard some of these teams have got interested
- 27:45Speaker 2: in Levy. Which, by the way, the Virginia Tech, the
- 27:47Speaker 2: rumors out of it is done with Mark Stoops and
- 27:50Speaker 2: he's gonna move to Virginia Tech. I think one of
- 27:54Speaker 2: my friends asked me what I thought, and I was like, well,
- 27:56Speaker 2: unfortunately for you guys, I think his time has passed.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I think he's a fine and developed kind of coach
- 28:02Speaker 2: and that just doesn't exist anymore. Kids don't develop, they bail.
- 28:06Speaker 2: And I think his style is stepping back. He hadn't
- 28:11Speaker 2: forgotten how to coach. It's just the game has left
- 28:14Speaker 2: who he is and I don't know. I don't know
- 28:17Speaker 2: how that'll work, but you know, good luck to him.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I like, like Virginia Tech, don't have anything against Stoops,
- 28:22Speaker 2: love watching his team, so I hope he's successful too.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Nothing against them, but I think that'd be under kicking
- 28:27Speaker 2: their coverage. I'd be underwhelmed if I'm a Virginia Tech
- 28:31Speaker 2: fan and they've got to get this job.
- 28:32Speaker 1: All right, Oh, let me tell you a lie that
- 28:36Speaker 1: the book is going to need on Saturday. Well, look
- 28:38Speaker 1: back up. You got UCLA laying three against Maryland. Is
- 28:42Speaker 1: UCLA just a wagon? Now? I love the fact that
- 28:45Speaker 1: new Heizel gets all the hype and he's not even
- 28:48Speaker 1: the coach.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I know. I laugh about that, and how good of
- 28:52Speaker 2: a job because this is the former head coach at
- 28:55Speaker 2: Presno State that was the interim at Presno State last
- 28:58Speaker 2: year too, is now the interim at UCLA. So doing
- 29:01Speaker 2: a great job there. I mean, you got to got
- 29:04Speaker 2: to give him some credit for doing a nice job.
- 29:06Speaker 2: But boy, what does it tell you about Foster? I mean,
- 29:09Speaker 2: this looks like a completely different football team offense, and
- 29:15Speaker 2: Nico looks like a completely different quarterback. He looks like
- 29:19Speaker 2: the guy everybody was seeing and practice that they thought
- 29:21Speaker 2: could be so good.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So who knows? I would lay it with UCLA here Maryland,
- 29:28Speaker 1: traveling all the way across the country, three time zones.
- 29:32Speaker 1: It is an evening kickoff, which it'll be. It's a
- 29:35Speaker 1: seven o'clock eastern timestone kickoff for these guys, so that's
- 29:39Speaker 1: not too bad. But again with UCLA, you don't know
- 29:41Speaker 1: what you're gonna get from an offensive perspective, and so
- 29:44Speaker 1: who knows what's going to do it. I would probably
- 29:46Speaker 1: lay it with UCLA in this spot. Haven't gotten involved,
- 29:49Speaker 1: May get involved for game day before we get started
- 29:52Speaker 1: in that. One next game I want to go to
- 29:55Speaker 1: is you dub in Michigan. You double be traveling over
- 29:59Speaker 1: to play this game in at Arbor. They're getting six points.
- 30:03Speaker 1: My guess is when you look up on Saturday. This
- 30:05Speaker 1: is going to be the line that everybody's scratching their
- 30:08Speaker 1: head at. It's like, how the hell is Michigan lan
- 30:10Speaker 1: at six to a U doub team? Utub's interesting? Man,
- 30:13Speaker 1: they start really slow. Like I would almost tend to
- 30:16Speaker 1: tell you Michigan in the first half in this one
- 30:19Speaker 1: and maybe come back on Washington for full game. But
- 30:23Speaker 1: I just don't know that. I like Michigan land marching.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I kind of wonder if they're going to be able
- 30:28Speaker 1: to do it and stretch it out against this NUB team.
- 30:30Speaker 1: And I don't know what the disrespect is with you. Now.
- 30:33Speaker 1: This is a weird game time slot because it kicks
- 30:35Speaker 1: off at noon Eastern, so it'll be nine o'clock Michigan
- 30:39Speaker 1: time in the morning. But I like jet Fish. I
- 30:42Speaker 1: like the offense that Michigan or the Washington brings. I
- 30:45Speaker 1: got up plus six here.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I just think I just am underwhelmed with Michigan.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I don't feel like they're taking advantage of Underwood's athleticism
- 30:53Speaker 2: at all. I think they're still trying to figure out
- 30:58Speaker 2: who they want to be. I think they want to
- 31:00Speaker 2: be ground and pound and just drop back and Underwood
- 31:04Speaker 2: grow the football kids too. Seems too athletic to do that.
- 31:08Speaker 2: He's still a freshman, still having trouble sitting back there
- 31:11Speaker 2: reading defenses. I don't think they're using his athletic ability
- 31:15Speaker 2: to its fullest at all. Just not sold on Michigan
- 31:19Speaker 2: at all. I did see somebody post this was fabulous
- 31:22Speaker 2: and they were like, I missed these days as a
- 31:24Speaker 2: Michigan fan. And it was a video of them beating Alabama,
- 31:27Speaker 2: you know, to win the Natty, and I started, I started,
- 31:31Speaker 2: I started laughing. The first reply I looked at was
- 31:36Speaker 2: that's because you were cheating. You know. It's like you
- 31:39Speaker 2: have been a dumpster fire except for twenty for the
- 31:42Speaker 2: last twenty five years, except for the two you were cheating.
- 31:46Speaker 2: It was great. I thought it was a great response,
- 31:48Speaker 2: like college football is the best, just fans, there's no
- 31:52Speaker 2: quarter there. It's great. You're cheating. My guy doesn't. It
- 31:56Speaker 2: was great. It was college football in a nutshell in
- 31:59Speaker 2: one post was great.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's it's fantastic. I love everything about it.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I would love roll with you, dub there. I'll probably
- 32:07Speaker 1: have my money involved in Now you got anything on
- 32:08Speaker 1: Mississippi State getting that and a half at Florida.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Wouldn't touch this line with your money. Uh, you don't
- 32:15Speaker 2: know what you're gonna get. Florida shows up, they play
- 32:17Speaker 2: remotely anything like they did against Texas, They're gonna win
- 32:20Speaker 2: this game and cover.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Uh.
- 32:22Speaker 2: State still beat up, but are they gonna play dead?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Their coaches getting fired Sunday is pretty much out in
- 32:29Speaker 2: the open. I mean, heck, you've got Steve Spurriyer talk
- 32:32Speaker 2: about they need to go hire Lane Kiffin. So man,
- 32:36Speaker 2: you talk about you talked about a mess. My guess
- 32:39Speaker 2: is Florida's gonna come out flat and if they do,
- 32:41Speaker 2: State may win this game and they'll they'll cover this.
- 32:44Speaker 2: This Florida defense is too good if it plays well
- 32:48Speaker 2: for I think State to win this ball game. If
- 32:50Speaker 2: Florida plays remotely well on offense. But boy, DJ Lagway
- 32:55Speaker 2: looks lost. I told you this off air. I'll go
- 32:57Speaker 2: ahead and lay it out there, DJ, Willie Fritz, University
- 33:02Speaker 2: of Houston. It's on the way book it that I
- 33:05Speaker 2: told you this right now. Nobody's told me that it's
- 33:09Speaker 2: the most natural fit ever. He's gonna come back home live.
- 33:13Speaker 2: You know what is that an hour Houston's campus about
- 33:15Speaker 2: an hour from where he went to high school. That
- 33:18Speaker 2: may be about to happen and that gets DJ Lagway's
- 33:22Speaker 2: career right back on track.
- 33:24Speaker 1: It'd be interesting if it does. I mean, god, can
- 33:28Speaker 1: you imagine the recruiting that they be able to do
- 33:30Speaker 1: in Houston?
- 33:31Speaker 2: If that no doubt about it, that there's gonna be
- 33:34Speaker 2: some Houston booster. I mean, look, you got Tilman for Tea.
- 33:37Speaker 2: It ain't like he can't like he gave pony up.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Whatever he wants the pony. So I DJ Lagway's coming home.
- 33:45Speaker 1: The only thing that I made those some wrinkle in
- 33:48Speaker 1: there is I think I could be wrong about this,
- 33:50Speaker 1: but I like where you're going with this. And I
- 33:52Speaker 1: only know this because of Rebenson. I think Houston, Yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 1: they do. Houston currently has the number one and it
- 34:00Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Maybe he comes in and trains underneath them,
- 34:02Speaker 1: but they have the number one quarterback in the country
- 34:05Speaker 1: committed to go to uf H next year. The kid
- 34:07Speaker 1: wears a coonskin cap like Davy Krop.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I have seen that.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Yeah, oh man, yeah, is about to get real.
- 34:16Speaker 2: The other the other thing that I'll tell you on
- 34:19Speaker 2: Lagway and the transfer of the other thing that could
- 34:21Speaker 2: do it is if Kivin does take that job. Is
- 34:24Speaker 2: any quarterback really leaving that's got any sort of upside,
- 34:28Speaker 2: you know? So that'll be Uh, I mean, he'll have
- 34:30Speaker 2: his choice, he can bring all. He'll probably bring Austin
- 34:32Speaker 2: Simmons with him if that's what he chooses. And then
- 34:35Speaker 2: does he you know, if he takes a job like Florida,
- 34:37Speaker 2: does he keep you know, does he keep keep a
- 34:40Speaker 2: guy like Lagway? So it'll be and that's look, all
- 34:43Speaker 2: of this depends on who gets hired and who doesn't.
- 34:45Speaker 2: But we'll we'll see.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I lean for Missouri in this next game. Missouri's laying
- 34:51Speaker 1: one and a half going into Auburn Saturday night. I
- 34:53Speaker 1: had no faith in Auburn whatsoever. I still think this
- 34:55Speaker 1: Missouri team's pretty good. Uh. They're coming off of that
- 34:58Speaker 1: game last week against Alabama. That game was I mean,
- 35:02Speaker 1: we we pushed it to get there, but that game
- 35:06Speaker 1: I think Alabama was better and that half so the hook, yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 1: I took. I took him at three and a half
- 35:11Speaker 1: for the win, but it ended up closing it three.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I think they come back and bounce back here against Auburn,
- 35:18Speaker 1: and Auburn is not very good and I'm just I'm
- 35:21Speaker 1: not convinced that Hugh Freeze is going to be there.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I mean the commentary that you got from the A
- 35:26Speaker 1: D this last week that you know he was for
- 35:29Speaker 1: sure that Hugh Freeze would be back next year. But
- 35:31Speaker 1: he's also he's also for sure his car is going
- 35:34Speaker 1: to start in the morning. So sometimes you just don't
- 35:36Speaker 1: know what's going to happen. So A lean Missouri haven't
- 35:39Speaker 1: gotten involved in that one yet, but I would lean
- 35:41Speaker 1: it one and a half. I think this MISSOI team
- 35:43Speaker 1: is pretty special. Uh Baylor TCU. This is a kind
- 35:47Speaker 1: of a made up rivalry over the last twenty years,
- 35:50Speaker 1: started with Art Briles. In fact, Gary Patterson miss old
- 35:53Speaker 1: fat pe uh line. Here's three Baylor getting three. Both
- 35:57Speaker 1: these teams are four and two. Baylor's won five against
- 36:00Speaker 1: the number TCUs three two and one against the number.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I'm going over with these two teams. Baylor's defense is terrible.
- 36:07Speaker 1: These two teams also play at some of the top
- 36:10Speaker 1: tempo in the country, and so I think you're gonna
- 36:12Speaker 1: see a lot of possessions, big chunk plays in this one.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Sixty five and a half seems like a high number.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I'm going over the total of this one. This is
- 36:21Speaker 1: one of my favorite plays of the week.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I think this number is going way over. As you
- 36:25Speaker 2: said at the very first of this broadcast, thirty eight
- 36:29Speaker 2: points Baylor gave up to Auburn. I don't know how
- 36:34Speaker 2: the hell you do it. I don't know how you
- 36:35Speaker 2: do it. That offense is so bad, but it's because
- 36:38Speaker 2: Baylor's defense is worse. I agree with you. I think
- 36:40Speaker 2: this is high scoring. Look how many points they gave
- 36:42Speaker 2: up to to Oklahoma State. That team's terrible, you know,
- 36:46Speaker 2: so again, I think this is score fest. I do
- 36:50Speaker 2: think that that Baylor offense is good. I mean, if
- 36:52Speaker 2: they were routinely playing defense, this'll be a really, really
- 36:55Speaker 2: good football team or not. Sorry, Robertson's having a good season.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I agree with you think it's high scoring. Think TCU
- 37:01Speaker 2: is gonna end up winning the ball game because it's
- 37:02Speaker 2: at home. But I do think it's high scoring.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and I like Josh Hooper a lot. I like
- 37:07Speaker 1: what TC's got going on there and so interesting. But
- 37:10Speaker 1: I think this game goes over the total. Trust me,
- 37:12Speaker 1: the Frogs do not want to lose to Baylor. If
- 37:14Speaker 1: there's any game I think the Frogs have a chip
- 37:16Speaker 1: on their shoulder against every team they play, but they
- 37:19Speaker 1: sure as hell don't want to lose to Baylor at home.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Uh.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Georgia Old Miss, Old Miss getting seven and a half
- 37:25Speaker 1: traveling down to Georgia two thirty game sec spot This
- 37:30Speaker 1: is such an interesting game to me. I have absolutely
- 37:34Speaker 1: no money involved, but I am very interested to watch
- 37:37Speaker 1: this game. Georgia to me, just does not look like Georgia.
- 37:42Speaker 1: They the defensive pressure on the quarterback just doesn't seem
- 37:45Speaker 1: to be there. Uh, they've been They've you know, they've
- 37:48Speaker 1: been given it. I know they only get up seventeen
- 37:49Speaker 1: points a game, but they're not creating that havoc that
- 37:52Speaker 1: they have in years past. You've got an Old Miss
- 37:54Speaker 1: team that obviously was sleepwalking through the Washington State game
- 37:58Speaker 1: last week, traveling down here. I know you talk about
- 38:02Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin and looking at other places, but Kiffin's an
- 38:05Speaker 1: interesting dude, and he see there's a path for him
- 38:08Speaker 1: to get Old Miss into the playoffs and a win here,
- 38:13Speaker 1: win here and there in you would think that man
- 38:17Speaker 1: getting seven and a half. What I mean, every time
- 38:20Speaker 1: I play against Ole Miss this year, I've been burned.
- 38:23Speaker 1: He's four and two against the number. Are you gonna
- 38:25Speaker 1: lay anything in this one.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I got a stinky bet for you right here. Stinky
- 38:30Speaker 2: because they're either I need forty bucks of your money,
- 38:32Speaker 2: that's all I need. Give me Old Miss and the
- 38:36Speaker 2: USC Trojans on an underdog money line parlay. They may
- 38:41Speaker 2: both get blown out. They have an equal chance to win.
- 38:45Speaker 2: You look at these lines and they're both stinky. They
- 38:49Speaker 2: ought to be moving based on the gambling numbers and
- 38:52Speaker 2: all of that. We're gonna be going against what the
- 38:55Speaker 2: book needs, which is usually bad, bad, bad for you.
- 39:00Speaker 2: You're gambling prowess. Just why if you ever are on
- 39:03Speaker 2: the side of the public versus the book that combined
- 39:08Speaker 2: with sharp money, you're generally on the wrong side of
- 39:10Speaker 2: the bet. Just why you ever find those out and
- 39:13Speaker 2: you see one you're at the casino, you're like, hm,
- 39:16Speaker 2: and you can see some of this on circa and
- 39:18Speaker 2: stuff like that, and you see it, you need to
- 39:21Speaker 2: run the other way because you're generally gonna get crushed.
- 39:25Speaker 2: But the money line numbers are gonna make it worth it.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I think both these teams, I think they both probably lose.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I think I'm probably dumping forty bucks in the tank.
- 39:32Speaker 2: But buddy, it's a great payout at nine and a
- 39:34Speaker 2: half and seven and a half point dogs. I think
- 39:37Speaker 2: both these teams can win these games. I think SC
- 39:40Speaker 2: really may win this game. But sharp money here is
- 39:42Speaker 2: gonna be on Notre Dame as it started out early
- 39:44Speaker 2: in the week. Think old misses the same way. This
- 39:48Speaker 2: Georgia team just doesn't look like itself. Give me forty bucks.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Take both those guys as an underdog money line, and
- 39:53Speaker 2: if we hit, we're gonna get paid.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I with you on that one. So two games we
- 39:59Speaker 1: got here ahead and touched, but I would lean that way.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Stinky lines if you want to play them. That Notre
- 40:04Speaker 1: Dame USC line's been coming out. It's been painted at
- 40:06Speaker 1: nine and a half and ten almost all week long,
- 40:09Speaker 1: even at CIRCA. And you've got SC money coming in
- 40:12Speaker 1: like they are going to put the place out of business,
- 40:16Speaker 1: and they're not moving the number, which would scare these
- 40:19Speaker 1: shit out of me if you're sitting there hammering it down.
- 40:23Speaker 1: I mean, can I see both these teams winning? Absolutely?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Can I see myself standing there with my thumb and
- 40:28Speaker 1: my ass and both of these teams are getting hammered.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Absolutely? So I said I only need forty dollars.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Oh but yeah, So there are two one game. I
- 40:38Speaker 1: do like in that two thirty slide Texas A and
- 40:41Speaker 1: M traveling to Vietnam. This was the rivalry that went
- 40:44Speaker 1: on at Jerry Will Forever Line opened up around eight
- 40:47Speaker 1: and a half. It's been moved down to seven and
- 40:49Speaker 1: a half.
- 40:50Speaker 3: This is a big one for Bobby p Baby give
- 40:52Speaker 3: me woo pig SIOUI in this one.
- 40:54Speaker 1: I think this is too many points.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I ain't get too many points these. Look the Arkansas
- 40:59Speaker 2: played these guys with the hell of a lot worse
- 41:01Speaker 2: team than this and and kept it a lot closer.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I think this number at home, I think the hook
- 41:07Speaker 2: is a huge deal. But this number now before you
- 41:10Speaker 2: lose that hook, I think Arkansas is gonna play them close.
- 41:14Speaker 2: I think they've got a legitimate chance to win this
- 41:16Speaker 2: ball game. I really do. Look, the quarterback for for
- 41:22Speaker 2: Arkansas is very very good. That offense is equally as
- 41:24Speaker 2: good as that defense is shitty. How we didn't cover
- 41:28Speaker 2: the over last week. It was just bad. That fourth
- 41:30Speaker 2: quarter was just bad possession, bad luck after bad luck
- 41:34Speaker 2: to not get a cover. But the but I think
- 41:37Speaker 2: the Hogs get I ain't there. I ain't a got
- 41:39Speaker 2: a chance this weekend. This could be a. This could
- 41:43Speaker 2: be an upset team. Uh. I want to see how
- 41:46Speaker 2: A and M plays on the road.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I have too, I mean, I love Arkansas here, I'm
- 41:51Speaker 1: playing seven and a half. I've already laid it. I
- 41:53Speaker 1: actually do have a sprinkle on the money line. It'll
- 41:55Speaker 1: be one one of my money line parlays that we've
- 41:57Speaker 1: got there. Next one, I've got this one. Loved this game.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I feel like I watch this game every year and
- 42:04Speaker 1: I have no idea why Iowa laying three against a
- 42:07Speaker 1: coachless Penn State team. How we haven't talked about Big
- 42:10Speaker 1: Game James being canned after dumping three games in a row,
- 42:14Speaker 1: more impressively being zero to six against the number they're
- 42:17Speaker 1: rolling in with the backup quarterback this week, with an
- 42:20Speaker 1: offense that has just not been able to figure out
- 42:23Speaker 1: what it takes to win a football game. We talked
- 42:25Speaker 1: about they had all the talent coming into this year
- 42:28Speaker 1: and they just can't seem to get there. Give me
- 42:31Speaker 1: Phil Parker, give me the Iowa defense. Laying three probably
- 42:36Speaker 1: will actually play Iowa on the moddy line as well,
- 42:40Speaker 1: But under thirty nine and a half, it's going to
- 42:42Speaker 1: be a low margin game here. But I love me
- 42:44Speaker 1: some Hawkey in that game. I hope it is supposed
- 42:47Speaker 1: to be cold, but I'm man, I hope it's gross, sideways, raining,
- 42:52Speaker 1: wind blowing. Give me Iowa.
- 42:54Speaker 2: They've had some great football games in this rivalry. I
- 42:58Speaker 2: think Iowa wins this game and wins it comfortably. I
- 43:01Speaker 2: think Penn State's gonna have a lot of trouble getting
- 43:03Speaker 2: an end zone. I really do out they're gonna be
- 43:06Speaker 2: a one dimensional team running the football. That the quarterback
- 43:11Speaker 2: is young. He's a red shirt freshman. If I remember correctly,
- 43:15Speaker 2: that was a huge moment to have to try to
- 43:17Speaker 2: walk into that ball game late, you know, the other night.
- 43:20Speaker 2: This is a really, really tough environment for your first start. Man.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I like the Hawkeye here, and I like him actually
- 43:27Speaker 2: in a pretty big way.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Oh, Ryan Day traveling two Wisconsin six, and oh this
- 43:33Speaker 1: team is a wagon bitch. Twenty five and a half
- 43:37Speaker 1: to Loop Fickle, give me the buck eyes. I'm not
- 43:42Speaker 1: even gonna get into details on why I think this
- 43:44Speaker 1: team is. I think this team is more dial than
- 43:47Speaker 1: it was last year. Julian Saying is getting better every place,
- 43:53Speaker 1: every play. He's the highest rated quarterback in the Country's.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Complaint like seventy five percent of his passes.
- 44:00Speaker 1: The offense has been fantastic if they've been letting him
- 44:03Speaker 1: run the tools. Matt Patricia on the defense is done.
- 44:06Speaker 1: They're giving up less than seven points against.
- 44:09Speaker 2: This defense is nasty. I mean they are nasty, and
- 44:13Speaker 2: I totally blew it. Oh I took Texas. I thought
- 44:17Speaker 2: Patricia's gonna struggle coming over from the NFL. Is kind
- 44:19Speaker 2: of a rough guy, hardcore guy. Man. I've been completely wrong.
- 44:23Speaker 2: That defense is nasty. If he is not Frank Browle's
- 44:26Speaker 2: award winner, then I don't know who the hell is.
- 44:29Speaker 2: That guy's done an incredible job.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you. Lay it with Ohio State.
- 44:35Speaker 2: They're gonna crush these guys. You can't score on them,
- 44:38Speaker 2: and I don't know how you stop this. I don't
- 44:39Speaker 2: know how you stopped this offense. And look, Wisconsin's defense
- 44:42Speaker 2: has been a sip. I mean they've given up hell.
- 44:45Speaker 2: I think they're being outscored by like twenty five a game,
- 44:48Speaker 2: twenty five or thirty a game in Big Ten play.
- 44:50Speaker 2: They've only scored like twenty points in Big Ten play
- 44:53Speaker 2: and they got three games under their belt, got shut
- 44:56Speaker 2: out last week. Nasty, give me the buck guys eight
- 45:00Speaker 2: nearly enough points.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I agree with you. I think this team's kind of
- 45:05Speaker 1: got some quit. I mean it's gross. Uh because this
- 45:08Speaker 1: Ohio State team, it's gonna be a different defense than
- 45:11Speaker 1: they saw against Iowa last week, but it's gonna cause
- 45:14Speaker 1: havoc and be faster. I'm all in, Holy wore baby
- 45:18Speaker 1: boys in special underwear getting together. I am so excited
- 45:21Speaker 1: that Fox is giving this its spot. It's a primetime
- 45:25Speaker 1: game Ou Tah against b YU. Everybody that hasn't watched
- 45:30Speaker 1: these two teams play this year is gonna look up
- 45:32Speaker 1: Saturday night and go why and the fuck is your
- 45:35Speaker 1: BYU's quarterback wearing number forty seven? They watched him.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I was gonna start got accused of having sex with
- 45:44Speaker 2: a girl. It's against Utah and Utah. Yeah he.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Was not soaking. He was full on penetrating. Good for
- 45:54Speaker 1: by you. You're gonna go to school there had your kids, folks. Anyway,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you all laying three and a half against this BYU
- 46:02Speaker 1: team on the road. I like the oots here, baby.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I think the Oots are gonna get right in this game.
- 46:08Speaker 1: This is a huge rivalry, and this isn't a rivalry
- 46:11Speaker 1: like just on Saturday. This is a rivalry three hundred
- 46:15Speaker 1: and sixty five days a year the whole time. I'm
- 46:19Speaker 1: wonder if I can get a flat three. I may
- 46:21Speaker 1: buy it down to it. I'm gonna take the oots
- 46:23Speaker 1: in this one.
- 46:24Speaker 2: They got. I think they're gonna shut down. I think
- 46:27Speaker 2: they're gonna make this team very one dimensional. I like
- 46:31Speaker 2: I like you talk here. I agree with that this
- 46:34Speaker 2: is this is a fun game, though really fun game.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I'm excited for this one. Memphis laying twenty one and
- 46:41Speaker 1: a half against ua B, I have no interest in this.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I lean to Memphis. They're six and oh straight up.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Ua B fired Trent Dildo this last week, hopefully his
- 46:51Speaker 1: high school defensive coordinators leaving as well. I have no
- 46:54Speaker 1: idea how it tracked it all down, but I would
- 46:56Speaker 1: lean to that. Texas Tech heads out to the desert
- 47:00Speaker 1: Arizona State. Not sure on the Texas Tech injury report
- 47:03Speaker 1: what we're gonna get yet. Lines cratered from ten down
- 47:07Speaker 1: to seven and a half.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Was too much?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I think ten was too much, but Texa wagon, dude.
- 47:12Speaker 1: They're five and one against the number. Tech does have
- 47:14Speaker 1: some injuries on the defensive line. Not sure if Morton's
- 47:17Speaker 1: gonna play. Everything you're hearing from Arizona State is that
- 47:20Speaker 1: Sam Levitt is gonna play. And so if you're gonna waig,
- 47:24Speaker 1: if you're gonna bet Tech, I would tell you to
- 47:25Speaker 1: wait and see what's gonna happen. If you're gonna blay
- 47:29Speaker 1: Arizona State, I would grab it now. Because what they
- 47:31Speaker 1: confirm all the quarterback and injury plays Friday Saturday, I
- 47:34Speaker 1: think that line will crash even more. Uh Texas Kentucky
- 47:38Speaker 1: getting twelve and a half. That seems like that's too
- 47:41Speaker 1: much to me when you're gonna have to go to Kentucky.
- 47:43Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on that one?
- 47:44Speaker 2: Boy? I hope Texas plays great because they come to
- 47:46Speaker 2: Startville next week. Hope they play great. Get right, get
- 47:51Speaker 2: everything fixed, hope you play great. I may take Texas
- 47:56Speaker 2: just to try to get some karma for next week.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Oh you NBA at home Way in sixteen and a
- 48:01Speaker 1: half against Washington State. I had surely taking this number one.
- 48:06Speaker 1: UVA is actually good. Uh Tony Elliott's done a hell
- 48:09Speaker 1: of a good job. Yeah, shouldn't get defeated Wazoo traveling
- 48:16Speaker 1: to Oxford, Mississippi having to go back to pullman and
- 48:19Speaker 1: then turn right back around and come all the way
- 48:21Speaker 1: across the country to Virginia. It's our time zone play
- 48:25Speaker 1: of the week. Let's lay sixteen and a half with UVA.
- 48:28Speaker 1: You get to ride all that with me.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Man, I'm on that all day long. Sharp money here
- 48:33Speaker 2: is going going wazoo. That's over read. If you watched,
- 48:37Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I'm probably one of about eight people
- 48:40Speaker 2: that wasn't an Old Miss fan that watched that game.
- 48:43Speaker 2: And I'm telling you, I.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Think we got a little technical difficulty to be back
- 48:53Speaker 3: within a minute. But Washington State got lucky last week
- 48:56Speaker 3: against Old Miss, and Old Miss just played like they
- 48:59Speaker 3: were sleepwalking. And so I think that's what's gonna drive
- 49:03Speaker 3: a lot of this money to come into this game,
- 49:05Speaker 3: is the fact that people are just gonna think what
- 49:07Speaker 3: they just last saw is what you get out of
- 49:10Speaker 3: Washington State every single week.
- 49:13Speaker 1: I'm sure Scott's back now, he's gonna agree with me.
- 49:15Speaker 1: They just saw Washington sent against Old Miss. They think
- 49:18Speaker 1: this is too many points. They don't think Virginia can
- 49:20Speaker 1: cover it. Probably haven't watched Virginia, but I think Virginia is.
- 49:24Speaker 2: To play here hundred percent. Look, if you watch that game,
- 49:27Speaker 2: ol mismove the football up and down the hell. I
- 49:29Speaker 2: think they have four hundred and fifty yards offense or
- 49:32Speaker 2: something like that. I mean they were up and down
- 49:33Speaker 2: the field, just didn't play well. They were sleepwalking getting
- 49:36Speaker 2: ready for Georgia. Total flat spot for the Rebels. Wazoo
- 49:40Speaker 2: came in and here's the deal. There's completely unimpressive. I
- 49:43Speaker 2: mean they're not very talented, not very good. I think
- 49:47Speaker 2: you are gonna see Virginia go gas can on. These
- 49:50Speaker 2: guys really like this game double travel. You're gonna get
- 49:53Speaker 2: a flat Wazoo team. I think. I think Virginia puts
- 49:57Speaker 2: it on them.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Last couple gave him the boo. Oregon's traveling to Rutgers
- 50:01Speaker 1: laying seventeen and a half. I love Oregon, but I'm
- 50:04Speaker 1: not gonna play it when you got to travel all
- 50:07Speaker 1: the way from where they are to fucking New York
- 50:09Speaker 1: City or Piscataway. Not interested USC to Notre Dame's gonna
- 50:13Speaker 1: be a fantastic game. Again, USC getting ten and a
- 50:17Speaker 1: half nine is taking all the money and it is
- 50:20Speaker 1: not moving that line even one bit. And so I
- 50:24Speaker 1: would tell you to lay it with Notre Dame. There
- 50:26Speaker 1: We'll play the money line on that side. Let's get
- 50:29Speaker 1: to the cigar game. Tennessee getting eight and a half
- 50:31Speaker 1: against Alabama. Both these teams come in five and one,
- 50:35Speaker 1: and whoever wins this game has got the best path
- 50:38Speaker 1: to get to the SEC Championship. In my opinion, you
- 50:42Speaker 1: gotta play here.
- 50:43Speaker 2: No, I'm passing on this game.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I kind of think that it's interesting what you see
- 50:52Speaker 1: what you're gonna get. You know, Tennis, Alabama's looking really good,
- 50:56Speaker 1: Simpson's coming along. But the one thing that Tennessee can
- 50:59Speaker 1: do is they've had got a pretty good pass rush.
- 51:02Speaker 1: They're not that strong in the back end of that defense,
- 51:04Speaker 1: but Alabama is still some issues on the right side
- 51:06Speaker 1: of the offensive line, and so I just can't quite
- 51:09Speaker 1: get there yet. I Mean, everything's got me pointing towards
- 51:12Speaker 1: Alabama winning this game by ten, but I can't get there.
- 51:17Speaker 2: If I'm taking this game, I actually think I'm taking
- 51:19Speaker 2: the over because that Tennessee game is a Tennessee defense
- 51:22Speaker 2: as a seal. But the flip side of that is,
- 51:24Speaker 2: you go, look, Alabama's gone ball control offense, and they're
- 51:30Speaker 2: doing it throwing the football, not running the football. Simpson,
- 51:34Speaker 2: They're slow too, so extremely efficient. He's snapping the ball
- 51:38Speaker 2: eight in the count they are, man, I can't I'd
- 51:41Speaker 2: love it. I have not looked, but I think I'm
- 51:43Speaker 2: gonna dig this up. I want to know how many
- 51:45Speaker 2: times they've converted on third down this year, but it's
- 51:48Speaker 2: always third and three, third and two, and he's throwing
- 51:52Speaker 2: a little pass to a back out of the flat
- 51:54Speaker 2: or to you know, a short route to a wide receiver.
- 51:57Speaker 2: It is he is extremely efficient. That's the only thing
- 52:00Speaker 2: that concerns me on the over. That's why this games
- 52:02Speaker 2: passed for me.
- 52:05Speaker 1: And then the last game you got, get you some
- 52:07Speaker 1: Florida State Stanford in the late game there. I got
- 52:12Speaker 1: no interest in that one whatsoever.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Look, that game's kicking off at ten o'clock Tallahasta time,
- 52:18Speaker 2: tenth third Tallahassee time. They're gonna be playing at two
- 52:22Speaker 2: o'clock in the morning. How in the world are they
- 52:25Speaker 2: gonna play well? It says take Stanford book man. That
- 52:28Speaker 2: team is meh at best case. Uh So, I just kidding,
- 52:33Speaker 2: but I'll tell you Florida State's not very good either.
- 52:37Speaker 2: We're realizing now that Alabama totally slept walked in that game.
- 52:40Speaker 2: It looked like the poor effort we saw on the
- 52:43Speaker 2: defensive side of football was exactly that poor effort, and
- 52:46Speaker 2: it wasn't as much about Florida State as it was
- 52:49Speaker 2: more about Alabama being overconfident and reading their press clippings
- 52:53Speaker 2: thinking they're playing a two and ten football team.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Bama's third down conversion rate in the last three games
- 53:00Speaker 1: is fifty three percent, which that would put them number
- 53:07Speaker 1: five in the country. Ohio State sixty percent.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Yeah, sayings has been great, man, I'm telling you you.
- 53:15Speaker 1: USC is fifty eight percent. Bandy.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Look, who's playing good football? Is quarterback usc maleava or yeah,
- 53:25Speaker 2: he's player the I always say his name wrong, the
- 53:28Speaker 2: uh he's playing. He's playing good football. I guess that
- 53:32Speaker 2: CEA team's not bad. I think they're better. Can't this again?
- 53:36Speaker 2: Something funky going on with the numbers. Vegas knows what
- 53:39Speaker 2: Vegas knows for that number to be nine and a half. Ten.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with you. All right, let's roll through
- 53:45Speaker 1: the official plays that we've got here. Indiana minus twenty
- 53:48Speaker 1: seven and a half, you come getting one and a half.
- 53:52Speaker 1: At Boston College, you Dub getting six and a half,
- 53:55Speaker 1: Archie getting seven and a half. Iowa laying three Bailey
- 54:00Speaker 1: TCU over sixty five and a half unlb plus twelve
- 54:04Speaker 1: and a half Ohio State lay in seventeen I think
- 54:09Speaker 1: against Wisconsin that we've got there. Scott's got a money
- 54:13Speaker 1: line parlay on USC and Old Miss to come together
- 54:16Speaker 1: in that one. And then we like the under in
- 54:19Speaker 1: the LSU Bandy game and that one as well. So
- 54:23Speaker 1: we've got about eight official plays. They'll all be in
- 54:26Speaker 1: the notes if you want to put any of those
- 54:27Speaker 1: on there. We have SMU as well at eight and
- 54:30Speaker 1: a half, and so we got about nine or ten plays.
- 54:33Speaker 1: We'll put all these in the notes that we'll put
- 54:34Speaker 1: out there. I'll put those on our feet. Give us
- 54:36Speaker 1: some love on the twitters, give us a review. We
- 54:39Speaker 1: always enjoy hearing folks. Folks. Has been a pretty good season.
- 54:42Speaker 1: College football is exciting as it's been in a long time.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I mean normally when we're this part of the season,
- 54:48Speaker 1: you're kind of looking towards the end of it. Man,
- 54:49Speaker 1: I feel like we're right in the middle and we
- 54:52Speaker 1: still don't know what's gonna happen. I mean, so there's
- 54:54Speaker 1: a lot to be done between now and then. That
- 54:57Speaker 1: being said, love y'all, Thank y'all for the download. We
- 55:00Speaker 1: will talk to y'all next week.
