Speaker 1: Accountability Partner is something that the Lord put on my heart. Actually,

Speaker 1: today I was working the altar at church and I

Speaker 1: noticed that a brother came from prayer, and I noticed

Speaker 1: that he talked about a struggle that he's been struggling

Speaker 1: with for a while. And we all have that. We

Speaker 1: all have struggles that we could battle almost a lifetime.

Speaker 1: Right if you don't get help, if we don't get

Speaker 1: that accountability. There's also other people that I'm working with

Speaker 1: that have struggles in their life that the Lord has

Speaker 1: allowed me to minister to them, to help them get

Speaker 1: back on their feet, to help them in the process

Speaker 1: of recovery. And the truth is, these things we cannot

Speaker 1: get over on our own, we cannot conquer on our own.

Speaker 1: We need help, We need that accountability. We all need

Speaker 1: a pall in our life, a mentor someone to pull

Speaker 1: in pour into us. And we all need a Timothy.

Speaker 1: We need someone that we can pour into. And I
2:29
Speaker 1: believe that this is something that the church is lacking.

Speaker 1: We go and we hear great sermons, we go to
2:34
Speaker 1: the altar, people get touched, people get healed, people get
2:39
Speaker 1: delivered and set free, and then the next thing you know,

Speaker 1: they show up next week, a couple of days later,

Speaker 1: back into the same mess that they got into in
2:51
Speaker 1: the first place. And I've been caught up in the
2:53
Speaker 1: psychle on myself. So what's missing is that discipleship piece,

Speaker 1: that accountability, that person that you can go to when

Speaker 1: you're struggling, when you're tempted, that person you can reach

Speaker 1: out to, that person who's working with you. And so

Speaker 1: I pray that you do have that person. But as

Speaker 1: a tool, this is not the all in all and

Speaker 1: be all right. This is just to help you as

Speaker 1: a tool in me myself, I got has called us

Speaker 1: all to make disciples. So this is a tool that

Speaker 1: I want to use to pour in to people that

Speaker 1: need that accountability help. He man. So it's a new

Speaker 1: segment called the Accountability Partner. And the way it works

Speaker 1: daily discipline. That's why I encourage people to get on

Speaker 1: this podcast every day. I mean, yes, of course it

Speaker 1: helps our ratings, it helps to have listeners, but not

Speaker 1: only that. We're using this a part of our daily discipline,

Speaker 1: as our daily walk. You cannot have a relationship with

Speaker 1: God without discipline, right. This is something that I had

Speaker 1: to learn. This is something that I've struggled in. But

Speaker 1: this helps me and I pray that it helps all

Speaker 1: to help each other to get through until Wednesday night

Speaker 1: Bible study and Sunday service. It's just a help, right,

Speaker 1: just to get us. It's almost like extra training, right.

Speaker 1: If you want to be in the Special Forces in

Speaker 1: the Kingdom, this is something to help you. But yes,

Speaker 1: if you're struggling with something, whether it's pornography, drugs, alcohol, whatever,

Speaker 1: this is your daily check in and it goes directly

Speaker 1: Revelation chapter five, we're actually gonna start it off. We're

Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and read the whole chapter. Then we're

Speaker 1: gonna come back and break it down, he says. And

Speaker 1: I saw in the right hand of him who sat
8:57
Speaker 1: on the throne. Well, hold on, let me just give

Speaker 1: a little background. In chapter four, John the Revelator was

Speaker 1: caught up into heaven. This was right after the Letters

Speaker 1: to the Seven Churches. So the church age is wrapped up.

Speaker 1: We are in heaven, and I'm going to prove it

Speaker 1: to you that the church is in heaven. In chapter five,

Speaker 1: the chapter we're in today, the Church is there. There's
9:24
Speaker 1: a group that is identified as the Church. So I

Speaker 1: do believe in pretrib that we will be raptured out
9:31
Speaker 1: before the wrath of God is poured out on the earth.

Speaker 1: Why would God send his bride to wrath like what

Speaker 1: husband would pour his treat his wife like that will

Speaker 1: just just be wrathful towards her. No, he wants to

Speaker 1: love and protect his bride. Amen. And now that when

Speaker 1: the throne room, we saw that the different colors around

Speaker 1: his throne were awesome. That there's mercy right now. Mercy

Speaker 1: is available. He is very merciful God. But if he's

Speaker 1: way too late, we can lose that opportunity and fall

Speaker 1: into his wrath. And so this is basically what this

Speaker 1: chapter is talking about, what we're going into. And also

Speaker 1: there's three sections remember in the book the things that

Speaker 1: you've seen, which are the past, the things that are,
10:20
Speaker 1: which is the church age, and then the things that
10:23
Speaker 1: shaw come. And now we're into the futuristic aspect of
10:29
Speaker 1: the Book of Revelations. So we're gonna break it down.

Speaker 1: There is some symbolic language in this book. There's some
10:34
Speaker 1: literal stuff that we can take away as we do
10:38
Speaker 1: a verse biverse study and ask God for revelation. I

Speaker 1: believe that we will get all that we need to

Speaker 1: get and be prepared in these last days. Amen. All right,

Speaker 1: So that's a little bit of the background. Let's get

Speaker 1: into it. And I saw in the right hand of

Speaker 1: him who sat on the throne, a scroll written inside
10:59
Speaker 1: and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I

Speaker 1: saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who
11:07
Speaker 1: is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals?

Speaker 1: And no one in heaven, or on earth or under
11:16
Speaker 1: the earth was able to open the scroll and to
11:20
Speaker 1: look at it. So I wept much because no one
11:24
Speaker 1: was found worthy to open and read the scroll for
11:31
Speaker 1: or I took, or to look at it. Excuse me,
11:35
Speaker 1: But one other elder said to me, do not weep behold,
11:39
Speaker 1: the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David,
11:43
Speaker 1: has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose the
11:47
Speaker 1: seven seals. And I want to put a hallelujah right there,
11:50
Speaker 1: praise you Lord. And I looked and behold in the
11:55
Speaker 1: midst of the throne of the four living creatures, and
11:59
Speaker 1: in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb, as

Speaker 1: though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes,

Speaker 1: which are the seven spirits of God sent out into
12:13
Speaker 1: all the earth. Then he came and took the scroll

Speaker 1: out of the right hand on him who sat on
12:21
Speaker 1: the throne. Now, when he had taken the scroll, the
12:26
Speaker 1: four living creatures in the twenty four elders fell down

Speaker 1: before the lamb, each having a harp in a golden
12:34
Speaker 1: bowl full of instants, which are the prayers of the saints.

Speaker 1: And they sang a new song, saying, you are worthy

Speaker 1: to take the scroll and to open the seals, for
12:47
Speaker 1: you were slain and have redeemed us to God by
12:51
Speaker 1: your blood out of every tried hung people in nation,

Speaker 1: and have made us kings and priests to our God.

Speaker 1: And we shall reign on the earth. Hallelujah. Another Hallelujah.

Speaker 1: Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels

Speaker 1: around the throne, and living creatures and elders, and the

Speaker 1: number of them was ten thousand times ten thousands and

Speaker 1: thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, worthy is

Speaker 1: the Lamb who is slain to receive power and riches

Speaker 1: and wisdom and strength, and honor and glory and blessing.

Speaker 1: And every creature which is in heaven and on earth

Speaker 1: and under the earth, such and such as are in

Speaker 1: the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying,

Speaker 1: blessing and honor, in glory and power be to him

Speaker 1: who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb forever

Speaker 1: and ever. Then the four living creatures said Amen, And

Speaker 1: the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped him who

Speaker 1: lives forever and ever. Wow, what an amazing view. What

Speaker 1: an amazing site we're gonna dive into. You know what,

Speaker 1: The Bible is way more interesting than TV. You know

Speaker 1: what I'm saying. The Bible is way more exciting, way

Speaker 1: more This is like better than anything that we could

Speaker 1: find on the internet to watch, right, Amen, I just

Speaker 1: wanted to say that who Chapter five Okay, let's break

Speaker 1: this down all right. Back to verse one, and I
14:45
Speaker 1: saw in the right hand of him who sat on
14:47
Speaker 1: the throne a scroll written inside and on the back,
14:52
Speaker 1: sealed with seven seals. This scroll represents the title deed
14:57
Speaker 1: of the Earth, sealed very tight and no one can

Speaker 1: open it. God holds the destiny of the world in
15:08
Speaker 1: his hands. It's not a random thing. It's written, is sealed,
15:13
Speaker 1: and it's under his control. Now. Ancient Israel, they've had
15:18
Speaker 1: a tradition. I'm not sure if they still have it now,
15:21
Speaker 1: but if you sold property after seven years, you could
15:27
Speaker 1: redeem that property back if you're able to. If you're
15:31
Speaker 1: not able to redeem that property, a kinsman redeemer, someone
15:34
Speaker 1: in your family can redeem the property and that property
15:37
Speaker 1: can come back into your family. But if no one
15:40
Speaker 1: in the family is able to redeem it, then you've
15:42
Speaker 1: lost that property for good. Now, let's think about Adam
15:47
Speaker 1: and Eve. Right, Adam in the garden. He was given
15:51
Speaker 1: the earth right. God created the earth. It belonged to
15:55
Speaker 1: him by creation, but he gave the title deed over
15:58
Speaker 1: to Adam belonged to him. And when Adam disobeyed God

Speaker 1: and rebelled and Satan deceived them. Satan has the title
16:10
Speaker 1: deed to the Earth. He has won the earth. When
16:15
Speaker 1: Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness the second temptation, he
16:20
Speaker 1: told him, says, the earth, all the glory of the world,
16:23
Speaker 1: and the earth belongs to me, and I can give
16:26
Speaker 1: it to whomever I choose. If he bow down and
16:29
Speaker 1: worshiped me, he would have given Jesus the whole world
16:35
Speaker 1: right if he had to. And if Jesus didn't refute it.

Speaker 1: Jesus didn't rebuke, he didn't say you're lying like he
16:42
Speaker 1: told the truth. Jesus himself said that Satan is a
16:45
Speaker 1: god of this world. Amen, And so this deed was lost,

Speaker 1: and so we're gonna look. In verse two and four says,

Speaker 1: then I saw a strong angel proclaiming. And I think
16:59
Speaker 1: it's interest that this angel is strong and man, there's

Speaker 1: angels that are on our side, strong angels, stronger, and
17:07
Speaker 1: they outnumber the demons that are against us. Amen. So

Speaker 1: make sure your angels are not just sitting around doing nothing.

Speaker 1: They respond to our praise and worship to God and
17:18
Speaker 1: our prayers. Make sure your angels are in training, being
17:23
Speaker 1: off beating back the forces of darkness in your life. Amen,

Speaker 1: And it says who is worthy to open the scroll?
17:31
Speaker 1: But no one was able to open it or even
17:35
Speaker 1: look at it. So John wept. John weeks because it
17:39
Speaker 1: looks like redemption cannot happen. But this sets up the
17:45
Speaker 1: introduction of the Lamb. Now John is weeping. This wipes
17:49
Speaker 1: them out. This moment really hits hard, even feels like
17:55
Speaker 1: no one can fix what's broken in the world. But wait,

Speaker 1: this is just the introduction. But when you read it,
18:04
Speaker 1: like John starts weeping, like sobbing, like he understood, he
18:09
Speaker 1: knew what this meant, like the world would stay under
18:13
Speaker 1: Satan's control forever if this book cannot be open. Now

Speaker 1: in verse five, it says, but one other elder said,
18:24
Speaker 1: do not weep. Behold the line of the tribe of
18:29
Speaker 1: Judah has prevailed to open the scroll. Now this is
18:34
Speaker 1: Jesus Hallelujah. Let's put a hallelujah right there. Man, we
18:37
Speaker 1: just got to praise as we go through this book,
18:40
Speaker 1: and man, worship is what I do. And it says
18:44
Speaker 1: the Lion yet also the Lamb victory through sacrifice. Let's go.

Speaker 1: Jesus didn't just talk power. He walked through the cross

Speaker 1: that's kingdom victory. Jesus prevailed, and he bought back the

Speaker 1: title deed of the earth through his blood. Amen. That

Speaker 1: was purchase. He had to purchase that back. That was
19:15
Speaker 1: a very expensive price. And we cannot at all handle
19:23
Speaker 1: this cheaply, as if it's meaningless. Amen, Verse five and six.

Speaker 1: And I looked and behold, and lamb having been slain.

Speaker 1: John sees the lamb as though it had been slain.

Speaker 1: This is Jesus in his redemptive glory. He still carries

Speaker 1: the marks of sacrifice. This is his proof of his love,

Speaker 1: proof of his power. Jesus is worthy. Amen. Amen, lamb

Speaker 1: that was slain. Now I want you to take a

Speaker 1: look at something. Because the elder told him to stop crying. Right,

Speaker 1: it was the elder that said stop crying and behold?

Speaker 1: What did he say? Do not we behold? He said

Speaker 1: in verse five, the lion of the tribe of Judah prevailed. Right.

Speaker 1: And then when John looks, he sees a lamb as

Speaker 1: though he was slain. So we're gonna see Jesus and

Speaker 1: we're gonna see the effects. The Bible says that you

Speaker 1: couldn't even tell that he was a human being. That's
20:47
Speaker 1: how much and how bad they beat him on the cross.

Speaker 1: That just shows you depravity of the human heart to

Speaker 1: beat the son of man to death like this. Wow.

Speaker 1: But he gave his life man, that's touching, just so

Speaker 1: that we can experience the piece of God. He paid

Speaker 1: this price so that we can avoid the wrath of God.

Speaker 1: Why would God put the church in the tribulation? And man?

Speaker 1: All right? Verse eight through fourteen. Then they sing a

Speaker 1: new song worthy as a lamb who is slain. This

Speaker 1: worship is explosive. Every creature joins in heaven and earth

Speaker 1: and even the sea, all worshiped Jesus. This is the
21:42
Speaker 1: ultimate concert right here, This is the all See, this
21:45
Speaker 1: is cut his heart right here right we worship God.

Speaker 1: That is an ultimate concert. No stage lights, just glory.

Speaker 1: Are we living in life that reflects this kind of worship? Like?

Speaker 1: This is it? This is where it's at. This is
22:05
Speaker 1: where we've got to be. Amen. Now, I told you

Speaker 1: I was gonna prove to you in this chapter that

Speaker 1: the church is in heaven. This group is in heaven.

Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go back to chapter, not chapter, but

Speaker 1: verse verse eight, and it says, now when we had

Speaker 1: taken now, when he had taken the scroll. The four
22:31
Speaker 1: living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before

Speaker 1: the lamb, each having a harp and golden bulls full
22:40
Speaker 1: of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. Now,
22:44
Speaker 1: I just want to point out that God sees prayer
22:48
Speaker 1: as sweet smelling aroma, Like when we light an incense
22:52
Speaker 1: in the house and it fills a house and it
22:54
Speaker 1: smells good as a fragrance. That's how it is to God.

Speaker 1: Our prayers are pleasurable to him. Make sure we are

Speaker 1: interacting in our prayers on a daily basis before him,

Speaker 1: and they sang a new song. Now this song is new.

Speaker 1: This means that this song was never sung in heaven before,
23:16
Speaker 1: for there was not a group in heaven that could
23:19
Speaker 1: sing this song with integrity. Right. God is a god
23:22
Speaker 1: of integrity. God is a god he cannot lie. So

Speaker 1: there's a lot of times to sit in church and
23:28
Speaker 1: we sing songs in our hearts. Really don't mean it
23:30
Speaker 1: like I be praying God, let my heart line up

Speaker 1: with this song. Jesus, I love you and I love
23:36
Speaker 1: you more than anything, Like we need to get our
23:39
Speaker 1: hearts lined up with what we're singing. But in this group.

Speaker 1: It says you are worthy to take the scroll. These
23:50
Speaker 1: are the lyrics and to open its seals. See this
23:54
Speaker 1: has never happened before. That's why this is a new
23:56
Speaker 1: song for you were slain. Now tuned in to this

Speaker 1: part and says you have redeemed us. So angels can't

Speaker 1: see that God does not redeem angels. The good angels

Speaker 1: don't need to be redeemed, and the bad angel Satan

Speaker 1: can never be redeemed in his angels. So who did

Speaker 1: he redeem? You have redeemed us to God by the blood.

Speaker 1: They're singing this to Jesus, and it says out of

Speaker 1: every tribe and tongue and people and nation, So Jesus,

Speaker 1: He's in the process of redeeming us. This is a

Speaker 1: church age, out of every tongue, tribe in nation. He's
24:38
Speaker 1: not just dealing with Israel like he did in the
24:40
Speaker 1: Old Testament. He's dealing with the whole earth. Now check

Speaker 1: out this verse and have made us kings in priests?

Speaker 1: Who has he done that with? Right? These are not
24:51
Speaker 1: angels that are singing this. They're not kings in priest.

Speaker 1: But if you know who you are in Christ in

Speaker 1: this church age, you know that he He has made

Speaker 1: us kings. We are kings and priests. We walk in

Speaker 1: this authority. If you really receive and understand who you are,

Speaker 1: you need to be walking in it. A king can

Speaker 1: declare and decree and rules, and a priest goes to

Speaker 1: God and to his presence, and a priest is able

Speaker 1: to go to God on the behalf of others. So

Speaker 1: we need to be living in this. And it says
25:25
Speaker 1: to our God, you have made us kings and priests
