- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast twenty five whists talking fun and
- 0:08Speaker 1: they are wearing with so yet it's too bad, But
- 0:12Speaker 1: what didn't you expect? It's a podcasts Hello, Welcome, brought
- 0:20Speaker 1: to you by a Draft King sports book, an official
- 0:22Speaker 1: sports betting partner of the NFL. Download the Draft Kings
- 0:25Speaker 1: app and used to code Bobby Sports to get in
- 0:27Speaker 1: on the action. Going up a little later today. The
- 0:29Speaker 1: normal I've had a serious allergy attack for like three days,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and I keep testing for COVID and it keeps coming
- 0:35Speaker 1: up negative. So I don't have COVID. But I thought
- 0:38Speaker 1: that was the only disease left. I thought that was
- 0:39Speaker 1: the only disease we care about. Yeah, the fact that
- 0:40Speaker 1: you don't have CODE is finally I can't have anything else.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Who cares? I think I have everything else. That's great,
- 0:44Speaker 1: But I don't have COVID and I'm actually getting better now,
- 0:48Speaker 1: So whatever it is, I've beat. So how how bad
- 0:51Speaker 1: do I sound right now? One through ten? You sound
- 0:55Speaker 1: like seven because it tends perfectly good. You're with me
- 0:58Speaker 1: a couple days ago when it was like a two,
- 1:00Speaker 1: Oh dude, you you started talking and it was like, oh,
- 1:02Speaker 1: we're not gonna yeah. But but you sound a lot better.
- 1:05Speaker 1: There you m there you go, low water. Um, So
- 1:12Speaker 1: a couple of things have gone wrong today. First of all,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I tried to eat breakfast this morning, and my spoon
- 1:18Speaker 1: is way too big. It's when you have no regular
- 1:22Speaker 1: size spoons. The only spoons left in the drawer those big, old, fat,
- 1:26Speaker 1: humongous spoons, like the ones you cook with. No like
- 1:29Speaker 1: like this one. It's not small enough for cereal. Yeah
- 1:33Speaker 1: that it ain't big enough to mix and cook with.
- 1:35Speaker 1: That's like to serve salad and stuff. Why do they
- 1:37Speaker 1: make this? No? No, this is not big enough for salad.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Shootn't make this size spoon. The normal spoon is fine,
- 1:44Speaker 1: The big big spoon is fine. This almost extra large
- 1:50Speaker 1: but not quite spoon is too big. And the only
- 1:52Speaker 1: time we ever use it in my house is whenever
- 1:54Speaker 1: we're out of the other spoons. So why don't we
- 1:56Speaker 1: just get more small spoons instead of these big spoons? Yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I talk to your wife about that, but not in
- 2:01Speaker 1: that tone. But not in that tone. I don't even
- 2:04Speaker 1: know when they make spoons of the size. And I'm
- 2:07Speaker 1: trying to have my yogurt and it's too big to
- 2:09Speaker 1: put a home like the spoon. We'll go on my mouth,
- 2:12Speaker 1: but just barely. So that didn't work out for me.
- 2:16Speaker 1: The shirt, the neck is too weird on it. I
- 2:19Speaker 1: lost my my wedding rinks and I'm wearing my real
- 2:21Speaker 1: one that you lost a rubber one though, that's fine.
- 2:24Speaker 1: That's the real No, no, no, that's the real one. Listen.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I wanna tell you what happened. I was getting married
- 2:30Speaker 1: and I bought my wife her engagement rings. She had
- 2:33Speaker 1: never seen it. I proposed boom nailed it. It's big,
- 2:36Speaker 1: it's a nice one. And so we go to get
- 2:39Speaker 1: my ring, and I think, well, if she's got a
- 2:42Speaker 1: little something, so I should get you know, I mean
- 2:45Speaker 1: like yeah, And so I go and I get a
- 2:50Speaker 1: lotta and it's got like diamonds on the insides of
- 2:54Speaker 1: on both I can't even get it off now, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: guess got diamonds on the insides sides and it was
- 3:04Speaker 1: little some something and so but then I never wear
- 3:07Speaker 1: it because one metal, I don't like sleeping with it on,
- 3:11Speaker 1: and if I don't sleep with it on, I forget
- 3:13Speaker 1: about it in the morning, and then too it hurts sometimes,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and then three it's expensive. I don't want to lose it,
- 3:21Speaker 1: so I wear the rubber one and the rubber one
- 3:23Speaker 1: is red, which I really like. Yeah, yes, I lost
- 3:26Speaker 1: the rubber ones and now more on some something and
- 3:27Speaker 1: I'm worried about it all the time. So I slept
- 3:29Speaker 1: with it on last night and I woke up and
- 3:30Speaker 1: will come off a finger. You just saw that. Yeah,
- 3:32Speaker 1: that's on forever now. Well, I mean it did finally
- 3:35Speaker 1: come off, and I ripped some skin to get it off.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But there we go. So that happened. How did you
- 3:39Speaker 1: lose the red one? You take it off into I
- 3:46Speaker 1: hold this? Put that in your pocket? Those ones coming,
- 3:49Speaker 1: all the different colors and whatnot. Right the guys do
- 3:51Speaker 1: that hold this? Put that in your pocket when you
- 3:53Speaker 1: want to go into a bar. I'm sure why wouldn't they? Probably?
- 3:58Speaker 1: But do you have friends have done that? I haven't know,
- 4:01Speaker 1: but I wouldn't surprise me if people did. Eddie. Eddie
- 4:03Speaker 1: jumped in a little too quick. I used to do that.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I used to do that, Joe. I remember we were
- 4:07Speaker 1: with lunch Box and Amy and I told lunch Box
- 4:10Speaker 1: in front of Amy, I said, hey, hold my ring, dude,
- 4:12Speaker 1: we're going to the bar. And he goes like a joke.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It was a joke. Okay, Well, here we are fresh
- 4:19Speaker 1: off I did. Did anybody watch Baker come Back last night?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Me too? Come on, And I don't always watch the
- 4:25Speaker 1: end of those games because usually they suck, and I
- 4:27Speaker 1: usually only watch it for fantasy purposes because again, they
- 4:30Speaker 1: usually suck. And so I was watching last night, and
- 4:36Speaker 1: Baker played well in the first half. You feel like
- 4:39Speaker 1: they kind of got onto him a little bit in
- 4:40Speaker 1: the second half. Well, he came in and replaced the
- 4:44Speaker 1: original quarterback, and he was throwing the ball well um
- 4:47Speaker 1: and then but ninety yards no time outs, touchdown? Why
- 4:52Speaker 1: the Raiders were playing press coverage on the outside, and
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just saw him talking about the wise I did
- 4:59Speaker 1: that sounds good? It was getting it was. I watched
- 5:02Speaker 1: all of them just go at him. And so the
- 5:05Speaker 1: r two stories here one, Holy crap, Baker Mayfield nine
- 5:08Speaker 1: yards or the minute left wins the game for the
- 5:10Speaker 1: for the Rams too. The Raiders get any momentum, oh
- 5:15Speaker 1: my gosh, and they just get swept out from underneath them.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Maybe they did it to themselves. Have they fired the
- 5:21Speaker 1: defensive coordinator? Yet they've blown what three or four games
- 5:25Speaker 1: double digits second half this year? And so it was
- 5:30Speaker 1: a game. It is I mean, it was a game.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It's better than usual. I get how. You know, like
- 5:35Speaker 1: McCaffrey goes to the fort Niners. Yeah, you got four
- 5:38Speaker 1: players to memorize. You've only been here for a few days.
- 5:40Speaker 1: How does a quarterback step in just a couple a
- 5:43Speaker 1: few days before and learn the entire playbook and lead
- 5:46Speaker 1: the team to a victory. That's crazy. So that offensive
- 5:49Speaker 1: coordinator is not going to Kentucky to be the offensive
- 5:52Speaker 1: coordinator again. He left Kentucky to go to the Rams.
- 5:54Speaker 1: He was the guy who got Baker as prepared as
- 5:57Speaker 1: possible in two days. Uh so what I've read about
- 6:01Speaker 1: And I'm a big Baker guy. Always have been a
- 6:02Speaker 1: big Baker guy, even when you guys aren't. Yeah, I'm
- 6:04Speaker 1: not not really, I'm a big Baker guy. I think
- 6:08Speaker 1: Baker has been in two places that are quarterback killers.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So but I'm big Baker guy only because he's a
- 6:13Speaker 1: fan of of me, because otherwise, yeah, I probably like
- 6:19Speaker 1: But um, apparently they one put it all on his
- 6:23Speaker 1: wristband where he could just call the number, which is
- 6:26Speaker 1: typical for quarterbacks that are in a system and still
- 6:30Speaker 1: have trouble. But they abbreviated for him. Apparently a really
- 6:32Speaker 1: smart guy, so you can pick up stuff quick. But
- 6:34Speaker 1: they abbreviated it on his arm. They ran um only
- 6:40Speaker 1: a small portion of the playbook, so I didn't have
- 6:42Speaker 1: to memorize the whole playbook when they sent him the playbook.
- 6:44Speaker 1: They send him the whole thing, but they were like,
- 6:45Speaker 1: we're not going to break out of this, so you
- 6:46Speaker 1: need to hopefully understand the concepts of this small package.
- 6:51Speaker 1: And then to that offensive coordinator from what I read,
- 6:55Speaker 1: learned a bit about what he was running and was
- 6:57Speaker 1: able to be the translator between the two. So because
- 7:02Speaker 1: of that, they patch worked an offensive system together. That's
- 7:06Speaker 1: really cool. And again they patch worked it without their
- 7:09Speaker 1: number one receiver. They patch worked it with I mean
- 7:12Speaker 1: Cam Akers, I guess as the guy again, but they
- 7:15Speaker 1: don't really have a guy even though cam Akers is
- 7:17Speaker 1: the guy again. He did score touchdown late in the game.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I did have him any time touchdown score on draft Kings.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Good for you. That's a good bet, dude, that was
- 7:24Speaker 1: a good bet. Yeah. I had another one too where
- 7:26Speaker 1: I teamed him up with a Clippers parlay hit all
- 7:29Speaker 1: four of them. Dang well, I cheated. It was the
- 7:32Speaker 1: one on It was like l a parlay. And I
- 7:34Speaker 1: didn't have time to get in and make a lot
- 7:37Speaker 1: of bets for that game because I don't care much
- 7:38Speaker 1: about it. But I was like, I like that one,
- 7:40Speaker 1: so I bet it hit all four ballsy, I don't
- 7:42Speaker 1: have I don't have the guts to go cross sports vets.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Well I don't either, but it was the only one available.
- 7:48Speaker 1: That was like, I gotta take that one right there,
- 7:50Speaker 1: So I like that. It was a cam makers anytime.
- 7:51Speaker 1: It was over forty one yards rushing and it was
- 7:55Speaker 1: like somebody on getting some certain amount of rebounds for
- 7:59Speaker 1: the Clippers, and I was like whatever, and I had, Yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I had. It was awesome. Um, So I believe that
- 8:04Speaker 1: was a lot of the reason as to why he
- 8:06Speaker 1: was able to pull that off. And also he was
- 8:07Speaker 1: just flinging it, you know, he what did he have
- 8:10Speaker 1: to lose. He came in as the backup if he
- 8:13Speaker 1: screws up. Well, of course, one it's the rams and
- 8:17Speaker 1: two he didn't have any time, but he looked good
- 8:19Speaker 1: doing it. He threw some dimes, just dropped him. You
- 8:22Speaker 1: see him, that guy, Well that's his thing now, It's
- 8:26Speaker 1: it's so stupid. He should stopped doing that. It's too late.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's too late. Now he has to keep doing it.
- 8:31Speaker 1: The problem is he's gonna give himself a he's gonna
- 8:33Speaker 1: hurt himself having to live up to the Baker standard.
- 8:36Speaker 1: But it was really cool. I liked it. I like
- 8:38Speaker 1: to see Baker succeed. I watched the locker room talk
- 8:42Speaker 1: right after the game. You guys see that Sean McVeigh
- 8:44Speaker 1: comes in and he's pumped, obviously, and they're bleeping out
- 8:48Speaker 1: all the course words, so it's only like every third
- 8:49Speaker 1: word he here, but he's going a great and he
- 8:53Speaker 1: gives the UH coordinator a ball, and he congratulates a
- 8:56Speaker 1: couple other guys and he's like, the guy's been here
- 8:59Speaker 1: for ten minutes. And then Baker Mayfield comes in and
- 9:01Speaker 1: and looks like the leader of the team. What I
- 9:04Speaker 1: noticed was he comes right and knows the chant the
- 9:06Speaker 1: group chant. Immediately it's like I'm here, I'm glad to
- 9:11Speaker 1: be home, Ran Brad, and they're all like how they're
- 9:13Speaker 1: jumping all over him, slapping his head. I don't know.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It's pretty cool. And to hear some of the people
- 9:17Speaker 1: at the Panthers and even the Browns talk, they loved.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Even the Panthers love Baker. They were like, we love
- 9:22Speaker 1: as a teammate. He was awesome. He came in and
- 9:24Speaker 1: was very supportive of the other two quarterbacks. When we
- 9:26Speaker 1: put him third. We liked him so much we cut him. Yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 1: they didn't want to. They didn't want to hold him
- 9:32Speaker 1: back that they knew he wasn't going to be there forever,
- 9:36Speaker 1: even next year, and they wanted to give him a shot.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And that says something because they could have held him
- 9:40Speaker 1: and just paid him that money, which it wasn't a lot,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and had him just in case Sam Donald went down
- 9:45Speaker 1: had I'm just but they're like, no, we liked him
- 9:47Speaker 1: so much, we cut him. So that does say something.
- 9:49Speaker 1: As much you get on Baker for being at times
- 9:54Speaker 1: extra in many ways, the fact that you had Browns
- 9:59Speaker 1: and Panther organizational folks going, hey, we like Baker a
- 10:02Speaker 1: lot as a person. And also if it were two
- 10:04Speaker 1: other teams, if you were playing for the Broncos or
- 10:11Speaker 1: Tampa or any of these teams. And I'm not putting
- 10:15Speaker 1: the teams that are at the top of the echelon,
- 10:17Speaker 1: but even the healthy ish teams that are known to
- 10:19Speaker 1: be okay, developing quarterbacks are having structure, maybe you think
- 10:23Speaker 1: different about them. But it was the Browns and the Panthers,
- 10:27Speaker 1: so you feel like it was almost Carolina apologizing for
- 10:29Speaker 1: being Carol. Also, I'm a I'm a Baker guy too,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you are, We're here. That was a that was a
- 10:34Speaker 1: fun one to watch. I'm glad everybody, Um, you know,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I was able to watch the game last night and
- 10:39Speaker 1: win some money. You guys went money. I bet the
- 10:42Speaker 1: other side, so you did. I feel like a lot
- 10:43Speaker 1: of people probably be the other side. A new new
- 10:45Speaker 1: quarterback and the Rams haven't been looking good. Well they
- 10:47Speaker 1: weren't starting Baker either, so you're thinking like, oh, I mean,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and the Raiders can pull this off. I mean, why
- 10:53Speaker 1: not that they were like seven point favorites too, right?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Is that what it was? Six and a half? Was
- 10:57Speaker 1: that seven at the beginning of the day. So yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: you guys should fight about that. I don't know, We're good. Yeah,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I didn't bet the game pre I have both of
- 11:07Speaker 1: those teams in my owner league, which I was kind
- 11:12Speaker 1: of pulling for the Raiders to win before Baker went
- 11:15Speaker 1: in because if the Raiders win, they continue their streak
- 11:18Speaker 1: and they're fighting for the playoffs and the Rams come
- 11:20Speaker 1: with a fresh baker next week, ready to go and
- 11:21Speaker 1: prove himself didn't quite work out like that. I love
- 11:23Speaker 1: story lines and emotion. I like teams to win on
- 11:25Speaker 1: e motion. Um, but it's a good game, and you
- 11:28Speaker 1: like any game where al Michaels want to kill himself
- 11:30Speaker 1: in the middle of the game is victories. Yeah. I
- 11:36Speaker 1: don't even know how these coaches do this anymore? Man?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Is that because he's on Amazon? Like what? Because he
- 11:42Speaker 1: wasn't like that? All the games are bad? Basically all
- 11:45Speaker 1: the games are bad and they stuck in with a
- 11:48Speaker 1: college guy and then so all right, so let's do
- 11:54Speaker 1: already kind of warm but let's warm it up anyway. Um,
- 11:56Speaker 1: when you're not feeling great, which has been my case
- 11:58Speaker 1: for the past few days, which again I'm back to
- 12:00Speaker 1: health now, except from my voice, what is it that
- 12:03Speaker 1: you need food or drink? Wise? What does your go
- 12:05Speaker 1: to if you're like, I'm not feeling good, I need
- 12:07Speaker 1: this Eddy Easy chicken noodle, soup and sprite. I mean,
- 12:11Speaker 1: I don't know what that did as a kid, but
- 12:13Speaker 1: my mom was just like, oh, you're not feeling good,
- 12:15Speaker 1: Let's get you some soup and a little bit sprite
- 12:17Speaker 1: and then I'll make you feel better, and it did.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I think that sprite is the carbonation. So probably sparkling
- 12:23Speaker 1: water would be better than the sugar re drink. Probably,
- 12:25Speaker 1: but if it makes you feel good, it does. It
- 12:27Speaker 1: makes you feel good. And that warm soup, dude, it's good. Kevin.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I like it soup as well with saltine crackers and
- 12:34Speaker 1: some pedia lights. Does it go to for me for sure? No?
- 12:36Speaker 1: I didn't say hungover. I said if you're sick. Well,
- 12:39Speaker 1: usually if I'm sick, then I'm hungover. They go together, good,
- 12:44Speaker 1: Mike Topuchico. That's that carbonation. That's all. Yeah, that's all
- 12:48Speaker 1: you need, no food or anything. That's it. You're sick.
- 12:49Speaker 1: You just want water. I just need liquids, okay, Adam.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I like coconut water and uh, coconut water, and usually
- 12:55Speaker 1: a soup. I don't care if it's chicken noodle soup,
- 12:57Speaker 1: just just something liquidy and whatever. I just like sugar. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: so like a kickcat bar. It doesn't matter. Just give
- 13:05Speaker 1: me all the sugar. I think I just used being
- 13:07Speaker 1: sick as an excuse to openly eat all the sugar
- 13:09Speaker 1: because I love sugar all the time. But I'm like,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I really am I gonna do it? But when I'm sick,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what I'm gonna do. It expects
- 13:16Speaker 1: you to feel better, So a lot of sugar. Like
- 13:18Speaker 1: pile it in the worst thing possible. That's what I do.
- 13:21Speaker 1: All right, let's do the tittle tattle tattle. Do you
- 13:34Speaker 1: think Hendon Hooker or Blake Corn got snubbed from the
- 13:37Speaker 1: Heisman finalists? Did you see they released the top ten
- 13:40Speaker 1: in order? No? I didn't. What is that they put them?
- 13:43Speaker 1: I wish I would have saved Google it up. But
- 13:46Speaker 1: Hooker was five. I think Corum was six or seven.
- 13:50Speaker 1: But they it's on a screen, the four in the
- 13:53Speaker 1: middle big, and the other five they put the numbers
- 13:56Speaker 1: beside onh They're all on the side. So they did
- 13:58Speaker 1: release the order. They all came out. Core Um No,
- 14:02Speaker 1: not so much. It's a quarterback award now for the
- 14:05Speaker 1: most part. Hooker, sure, I don't know why they just
- 14:10Speaker 1: didn't put five in there. I'm not saying that he
- 14:15Speaker 1: should be over anyone else, but he should. I feel
- 14:18Speaker 1: like he should. But I do feel like they should
- 14:21Speaker 1: have at least put five in there in this situation
- 14:23Speaker 1: because he was an elite and he had better stats.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I don't want to call anybody out because I don't
- 14:29Speaker 1: want to pull anyone out of the running. I think
- 14:31Speaker 1: what these guys did all great. Oh here we go,
- 14:37Speaker 1: we have it right here. I think c J. Stroud
- 14:40Speaker 1: was just only in because he was way in at
- 14:45Speaker 1: the very beginning and never played himself out. But I
- 14:48Speaker 1: don't think he was super dynamic. Stetson Bennett there's an
- 14:54Speaker 1: argument that he probably shouldn't be in the top four either,
- 14:57Speaker 1: that dude, especially with Hendon Hooker, if you compare stats.
- 15:01Speaker 1: But again, it's not just a stat award. It's almost
- 15:08Speaker 1: like Entertainer of the Year at the c M as
- 15:11Speaker 1: you know what it means, but there's really no absolute
- 15:13Speaker 1: definition or protocol as to how and why you get
- 15:16Speaker 1: that person. I feel it's like you look at them
- 15:17Speaker 1: and you're like, all right, is that was that the
- 15:20Speaker 1: best player of the year? Like overall, But I think
- 15:23Speaker 1: also c J. Stroud and Stetson Benett get a little
- 15:25Speaker 1: bit of benefit from last year because Stetson wins the
- 15:28Speaker 1: National Championship, wasn't even the starter all year, had a
- 15:32Speaker 1: really good, borderline great season. We'll vote him in there
- 15:37Speaker 1: he's a quarterback at Georgia, the number one team. It's
- 15:40Speaker 1: like the m v P Race in all the professional sports.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Usually you got one person from that team that's in that.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's rare that you don't have a person from the
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yankees in the m v P race. If they are
- 15:53Speaker 1: winning the American League, if the Chiefs, Mahomes is going
- 15:57Speaker 1: to be in the race. So it's in. Bennett is
- 16:00Speaker 1: in because of that. He also he had a great season,
- 16:03Speaker 1: but he's in because he's the quarterback for Georgia and
- 16:05Speaker 1: they didn't really have anybody else they were going to
- 16:07Speaker 1: throw in there that should have been in there. You
- 16:10Speaker 1: gotta tcu. I mean, we'll go to Caleb Williams first.
- 16:16Speaker 1: He's gonna win it. But nobody really came in and
- 16:20Speaker 1: walked away with the Heisman this year. He's gonna win
- 16:22Speaker 1: it because when everybody else had a shot, they either
- 16:26Speaker 1: played fine or they didn't. But nobody when't had that
- 16:30Speaker 1: door open for them to kind of kick the door down.
- 16:34Speaker 1: So here we go. Here's the list. You have the four,
- 16:37Speaker 1: Eddie Keene in the four that are up for it.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Um yeah, can I name him yea yeah, Douggan um
- 16:42Speaker 1: Stroud Bennett and um Cayla Willing. Okay, good for you, buddy, Yeah,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I got you. I'm not even looking on the list.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Well you look down at your computer and then I
- 16:51Speaker 1: realized you were searching for something. What I'm looking for
- 16:54Speaker 1: is the Heisman bet because it hadn't been up all week,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and I don't still don't think it's up. I think
- 16:59Speaker 1: cayleb Won is such a huge favorite these betting sites
- 17:02Speaker 1: are not gonna put that better. Well, he's also one
- 17:04Speaker 1: the two big awards already for like Player and Offensive
- 17:06Speaker 1: Player of the Year that aren't the Heisman. So yes,
- 17:08Speaker 1: it's him because nobody else deserves to win it over him.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Stroud's not gonna win it over him, but v though, dude,
- 17:17Speaker 1: So when they're all there and they're like, all right,
- 17:18Speaker 1: Caleb's ready, he's already. What the max Doug'd The reason
- 17:26Speaker 1: I say that that and it probably won't happen anyway,
- 17:28Speaker 1: we all know that the only reason I could see
- 17:30Speaker 1: it happening is if there were another West Coast guy
- 17:32Speaker 1: that was in that voting and it was splitting the
- 17:34Speaker 1: vote a bit. And that's not happening because Stroud's Ohio state,
- 17:38Speaker 1: Midwest dug In uh TCU Texas Georgia secs. It's the
- 17:43Speaker 1: perfect scenario for Caleb Williams Hooker at five, Bryce Young
- 17:48Speaker 1: at six. Why are you shaking your head because I
- 17:52Speaker 1: still think he's the best player I've watched all years,
- 17:54Speaker 1: you know what. And when you shook your head, I thought,
- 17:56Speaker 1: he doesn't think Brian should be at six. I think
- 17:57Speaker 1: Brian should be in the top four. Yeah, I agree.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I think if you put a c. J. Stroud even
- 18:04Speaker 1: on that Alabama team, they don't win nearly most of
- 18:07Speaker 1: the games, but they'll lose a lot more than two games.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Or excuse me. Bryce Young is so good, so good.
- 18:12Speaker 1: The only problem with him being drafted because I was
- 18:14Speaker 1: looking at maybe it was Keiper's big board, and he
- 18:18Speaker 1: has the Kentucky quarterback Levis at three overall and Bryce
- 18:23Speaker 1: Young at four overall. And I think the difference real
- 18:26Speaker 1: Bryce Young's height. They list him at six foot. I
- 18:28Speaker 1: don't think he's six ft tall, but I think what
- 18:32Speaker 1: I read was And if you don't think he's like
- 18:35Speaker 1: the fourth or fifth overall picks, I don't waste your tears.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Is that he processes the game so much faster than
- 18:40Speaker 1: everybody else. They say, but Bryce Young at six. Again,
- 18:44Speaker 1: they're not in it, so they're not in it. But
- 18:46Speaker 1: the same could be. I mean Caleb Williams us he's
- 18:50Speaker 1: not in it. Theyre just nobody could take it from him.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Blake Krum at seven, Bijon Drake May who's coming back
- 18:59Speaker 1: by the way in North Carolina. He just said he's
- 19:01Speaker 1: gonna come back and play again next year. I like
- 19:03Speaker 1: watching that guy, which could have He probably would have
- 19:05Speaker 1: been a first round guy because those quarterbacks will get
- 19:08Speaker 1: drafted earlier then they really are worth if you're just
- 19:12Speaker 1: basically on a talent because it's so important of a position,
- 19:16Speaker 1: and maybe you get lucky, or maybe Anthony Richardson will
- 19:22Speaker 1: go in the first round because of the tools that
- 19:25Speaker 1: he has. From Florida, Now, did he play well enough
- 19:28Speaker 1: to go man based on what he did in Florida,
- 19:30Speaker 1: he should go on in the first round. No, he
- 19:33Speaker 1: had a couple of games where we're likely the Utah
- 19:35Speaker 1: game at the beginning of the year. He won the Heisman.
- 19:39Speaker 1: It does. He won the Heisman. It was awesome. Congratulations.
- 19:43Speaker 1: But to your question, Handon Hooker should have probably they
- 19:48Speaker 1: should have done five. I don't want to pull any
- 19:50Speaker 1: of them out because I don't want to do that.
- 19:52Speaker 1: But I think they could have done five and it
- 19:54Speaker 1: had been fine. I wonder if they've ever done five,
- 19:56Speaker 1: by the way, And I don't think it's a participation thing.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I just think Hooker deserved to be there there, So
- 20:02Speaker 1: take all ten who cares every New York why not
- 20:07Speaker 1: send them all there? So I'm gonna go with I
- 20:09Speaker 1: think he should be in New York if he wouldn't
- 20:13Speaker 1: have been hurt. I mean, I could see him being
- 20:16Speaker 1: the top three being another game or so. To pad
- 20:19Speaker 1: some stats. I think they probably would have beat Vanderbilt.
- 20:23Speaker 1: They would have still lost South Carolina because they were
- 20:24Speaker 1: losing that game pretty bad. But if they beat Vanderbilt
- 20:27Speaker 1: are probably in it. They're not wait wa wait, hold on,
- 20:29Speaker 1: they didn't lose a Vanderbilt. Who do they lose to
- 20:31Speaker 1: U South Carolina? And they lost who's the other going
- 20:34Speaker 1: to Georgia? They're not gonna beat South Carolina. But I
- 20:37Speaker 1: think he could have come into Vanderbilt and padded some numbers,
- 20:40Speaker 1: and it has been a much easier argument because his
- 20:42Speaker 1: numbers are already better then Stetson Benett. Al Right, next question,
- 20:46Speaker 1: do you think that trumble but coral No, okay, yeah, okay.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Do you think the transfer portal is bad for college football? No?
- 20:52Speaker 1: I love the transport portal portal. I would change a
- 20:54Speaker 1: couple of rules on it. I think just because it
- 20:56Speaker 1: exists and you hate it now doesn't mean you should
- 20:58Speaker 1: wipe it completely away. I think you could do a
- 21:01Speaker 1: couple of things to it to make it easier for
- 21:03Speaker 1: everyone to keep up with. The good thing about it
- 21:05Speaker 1: is once you transfer once and as long as you're
- 21:08Speaker 1: not a graduate, you can't transfer again. You're locked in.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I do think they should make that two years. If
- 21:16Speaker 1: you agree to go to a school, you got two
- 21:18Speaker 1: years there. Similar to you can't go into the NFL
- 21:22Speaker 1: until you are three years out of high school or
- 21:25Speaker 1: I don't know, I sung that or school or the
- 21:28Speaker 1: NBA right now, which will change again. You gotta be
- 21:33Speaker 1: one year out of high school before you go to
- 21:35Speaker 1: the NBA. I think if you transfer, you should be
- 21:40Speaker 1: excuse me, before you transfer, you should have two years
- 21:42Speaker 1: at the program you transferred from, so you don't get
- 21:45Speaker 1: there as a freshman, get your panties in a wide
- 21:47Speaker 1: because you didn't play, because most freshmen don't play. If
- 21:50Speaker 1: you go to power five school. You see what happened
- 21:53Speaker 1: your sophomore year, then if you don't like it, then
- 21:54Speaker 1: you can go. So I think that small change would
- 21:58Speaker 1: make a big difference. I haven't seen this any evert
- 22:00Speaker 1: anyone right this, so I'm sure someone could tell me
- 22:02Speaker 1: why I'm absolutely wrong. But I feel like one year
- 22:04Speaker 1: is too quick. But the good side of that is
- 22:07Speaker 1: is that if someone transfers to your school after one year,
- 22:10Speaker 1: then you have them. They can't leave unless they graduate.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Because if you do graduate, then you can transfer again.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You know. That's the rule. That's always been the rule.
- 22:21Speaker 1: That's Russ. That's how he transferred from North Carolina State.
- 22:24Speaker 1: He graduated went to Wisconsin. So I like it, but
- 22:30Speaker 1: I want to love it, and I think I can
- 22:32Speaker 1: love it if they make a couple of alterations. We've
- 22:36Speaker 1: got a couple of nice suits and they look really good,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but they were just a little wide in the leg,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and I wore one to the to the c m A.
- 22:45Speaker 1: It's was a blue one I don't have to pay for.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It's crazy. Now, what's what I'm gonna tell you? What?
- 22:49Speaker 1: The most bizarre thing, Now that I have money, I
- 22:50Speaker 1: guess that for free crazy, you're still talking about the transfporter. Yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'll get there. I'll get back over there, get back
- 22:54Speaker 1: over there. You get stuck on the c m A.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And so they send me this. It's a very really
- 23:00Speaker 1: nice company, like we'd like to dress you for the Cmas.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And I'm like, wait, what how much does this cost? Like?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Nothing do I have to post about? You know? Just
- 23:08Speaker 1: wear it and if you want to tag us, tag
- 23:10Speaker 1: us you can. And I google how much the suit was.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It's a two thousand all suits and you're supposed to
- 23:16Speaker 1: send it back, but you wear it, you look good,
- 23:20Speaker 1: you send it back. I don't pay if any money
- 23:22Speaker 1: is amazing. So I go and we alter the legs
- 23:24Speaker 1: because they're just this. It looks great, but the legs
- 23:27Speaker 1: are a little wide on me. I'm in that weird
- 23:28Speaker 1: size where if I wear a medium it's a little big,
- 23:32Speaker 1: but it's long enough. But if I wear a small
- 23:35Speaker 1: size it fits my legs, but it's too short because
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm tall and thin. And so we alter it just
- 23:41Speaker 1: a little bit. Boom nails it. It looks great, Go
- 23:44Speaker 1: to SMAs. Can't believe them. It's free. So it's amazing.
- 23:47Speaker 1: We would do our thing. We get out of there
- 23:49Speaker 1: a post. You can see it on my Instagram. That
- 23:51Speaker 1: slight alteration and made all the difference in the world.
- 23:54Speaker 1: It looks so good. They said, hey, thanks for doing that.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You look great. Keep the suit. I was like really,
- 24:00Speaker 1: like yeah, I'm like all right, so I have the
- 24:03Speaker 1: suit and the shirt everything with it. That slide alteration
- 24:07Speaker 1: made it like perfect. Same thing with the Transform portal portal.
- 24:11Speaker 1: If there is just a small two years, that's all
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm asking. It's just one more year. It's no a
- 24:16Speaker 1: big change. You gotta be in for two years before
- 24:18Speaker 1: you leave. If you do that, it's great. But yes,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I love the portal. If in real life you go
- 24:23Speaker 1: to a job you don't like, you go to a
- 24:26Speaker 1: Boston makes you feel uncomfortable, it's too far of a drive,
- 24:30Speaker 1: you can't get back to your family because traffic is
- 24:33Speaker 1: so bad, or it's a little further. You can change
- 24:35Speaker 1: jobs in real life. Now, you don't want to go
- 24:37Speaker 1: into it for a month and then leave. It looks
- 24:39Speaker 1: bad at your next employer, so you do have to
- 24:41Speaker 1: stay a little bit. And if you do want to
- 24:44Speaker 1: leave after one year, you have to sit out of
- 24:45Speaker 1: here so you can leave. Yeah, because that's what I
- 24:47Speaker 1: was gonna ask to, like, um, who's it from SC
- 24:50Speaker 1: to West Virginia? J T. Daniels, Georgia. He's been been
- 24:53Speaker 1: in nine school. He's the ultimate free agent. When do you?
- 24:57Speaker 1: I'm assuming and I remember when he played he played
- 24:59Speaker 1: his area right, No, s C. Georgia. He never played.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't know. Now we're just throwing teams out there. Okay,
- 25:07Speaker 1: yes he's been everywhere. I mean he is that song. Um,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm assuming with him. That happened early because he has
- 25:17Speaker 1: one year of evligibility left. I think it happened pre
- 25:20Speaker 1: Maybe he's a graduate as well. Maybe he was the portal,
- 25:22Speaker 1: it's almost like you can play seven years because of
- 25:24Speaker 1: the COVID year. Yeah, any tours a other thing twice.
- 25:27Speaker 1: So there's a lot of situations there. But uh, yes,
- 25:31Speaker 1: I like the portal. I love the portal. I'm gonna
- 25:32Speaker 1: say that I love the portal. I think it makes
- 25:34Speaker 1: it more real life. I love and I l I
- 25:37Speaker 1: think it makes it more real life. You should be
- 25:39Speaker 1: able to make money off of who you are, but
- 25:42Speaker 1: should there be changes to these rules A little bit? Absolutely.
- 25:45Speaker 1: It's the wild West right now and we're slowly figuring
- 25:48Speaker 1: out who the sheriff is, we don't know yet, so okay, cool?
- 25:52Speaker 1: What else you got last college one? Here? Do you
- 25:53Speaker 1: think the committee got the final four correct on the
- 25:57Speaker 1: Heisman for the better? Say? Am I sick question? Yeah?
- 26:04Speaker 1: I mean controversial. When I said it, I know you
- 26:07Speaker 1: guys probably didn't agree with me, but I said, if
- 26:08Speaker 1: TC you loses, they should stay in and that was
- 26:11Speaker 1: way early and they did, so yeah, I'm okay with it.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I would have rather seen Alabama and then Ohio State.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I think Alabama beats Ohio State. I think I'm just
- 26:21Speaker 1: an SEC homer as well. I'll admit that in Ohio
- 26:24Speaker 1: State gets everything gifted to them always, so sure, I
- 26:30Speaker 1: can't really argue oh Hi, Sure you saw everybody coming
- 26:34Speaker 1: out hating Alabama, anti Alabama, Sobama fatigue just but I'm
- 26:38Speaker 1: Ohio State fatigue too. I wish it would have been
- 26:41Speaker 1: somebody else in the argument that we hadn't seen before.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But yes, I would say they got it right. I
- 26:46Speaker 1: wish they would have put Ohio State in Michigan up
- 26:48Speaker 1: against each other first, because we could watch that game
- 26:51Speaker 1: again and it'd be fun because George is gonna pounce,
- 26:54Speaker 1: Michigan is gonna pounce probably, and they're gonna play each
- 26:59Speaker 1: other what over the cases. I would love to see
- 27:01Speaker 1: Ohio State in Michigan play again. I don't think it's
- 27:03Speaker 1: gonna happen now in the championship because TC youd have
- 27:06Speaker 1: to be Michigan. Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know that's gonna happen. Uh, yeah, they
- 27:12Speaker 1: got it right. Yes, going to the NFL here, do
- 27:15Speaker 1: you think brock Purty can keep the forty Niners a
- 27:17Speaker 1: float until Jimmy g possibly returns to the playoffs. That
- 27:21Speaker 1: San Francisco quarterback job is interesting because it doesn't seem
- 27:23Speaker 1: like you have to do much. I feel like Eddie
- 27:25Speaker 1: could go on in there and give me that chance. Coach,
- 27:28Speaker 1: I'll do it. Oh, you need five million bucks in
- 27:30Speaker 1: a wristband, right, Eddie stuff? And they got pretty good
- 27:34Speaker 1: running back, so we're good. And I know that's wrong
- 27:36Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I know it. It's wrong. You can't
- 27:38Speaker 1: just go in and do that, but I don't. I
- 27:43Speaker 1: watched some some U say game tape, and be honestly,
- 27:46Speaker 1: I watched YouTube the highlights. Yes, I want to watch
- 27:49Speaker 1: some you Yeah, I guess I don't. I don't know.
- 27:54Speaker 1: It's funny he was Mr Irrelevant, that's act, and that
- 27:57Speaker 1: he stayed on the team. A lot of times Mr
- 27:59Speaker 1: Irelevant guys moved to a different team get cut. Yeah sure.
- 28:04Speaker 1: If I don't know enough about him except for what
- 28:07Speaker 1: I watched on YouTube, and if all of the talking
- 28:11Speaker 1: heads that I trust say they think he'll be fine,
- 28:14Speaker 1: then I'm okay with it. San Francisco is really good.
- 28:18Speaker 1: They're so good that they could have a couple, well,
- 28:21Speaker 1: they could have one or two not great performances in
- 28:23Speaker 1: the next couple of weeks where we could grow into it.
- 28:25Speaker 1: You know. I see it like Malik Willis on steroids
- 28:29Speaker 1: when he played for the Titans and they didn't let
- 28:32Speaker 1: him throw it and they won. Not that it's going
- 28:36Speaker 1: to be that, because he did come in last week
- 28:38Speaker 1: and play and looked fine. Yeah, be look fine, And
- 28:42Speaker 1: he has all this season he's had to get ready
- 28:45Speaker 1: and he was he's been the backup. What what did
- 28:49Speaker 1: uh Lance go down? Week two three? He's been the
- 28:54Speaker 1: back So it's not like he doesn't know the system
- 28:56Speaker 1: and it's not like he's a rookie. In the first
- 28:57Speaker 1: three weeks of his NFL career. So yeah, I imagine
- 29:01Speaker 1: he will be fine. Dude's got a lot of a
- 29:06Speaker 1: lot of weapons, got a lot of weapons, and Jimmy
- 29:08Speaker 1: G two Like, that's how Jimmy G plays ball. He
- 29:10Speaker 1: just controls the ball, doesn't make mistakes, and then gives
- 29:13Speaker 1: it to those Jimmy, she looked pretty good though at times,
- 29:14Speaker 1: like he really was playing a lot better than I
- 29:18Speaker 1: had ever seen him play as far as playing wide open.
- 29:20Speaker 1: They started to trust him a little more. Jimmy, Jimmy
- 29:23Speaker 1: is flinging a little bit, but yes, I'm gonna go
- 29:25Speaker 1: with yes, because I trust a few people on TV.
- 29:29Speaker 1: In YouTube, well, YouTube, we look good, but it's all
- 29:33Speaker 1: the best. I was watching highlights for Okay, what else
- 29:36Speaker 1: do you think? The Bengals have entered the conversation with
- 29:38Speaker 1: the Bills and the Chiefs as a favorite in the
- 29:39Speaker 1: a f C. They did go to the super Bowl
- 29:44Speaker 1: last year. They did beat Kansas City this season. That's
- 29:48Speaker 1: a big win. Godly, that's a big win because the
- 29:52Speaker 1: whim last season in the playoffs kind of a flukey
- 29:56Speaker 1: situation where you're like, well, that wouldn't happen again. We
- 29:58Speaker 1: could play this game ten times. That would happen again.
- 30:01Speaker 1: But no, I'm still gonna say no, I think they're
- 30:03Speaker 1: in that second tier. I think with Buffalo though, they
- 30:08Speaker 1: got a couple of injuries they're dealing with, So I'm
- 30:11Speaker 1: gonna go no, they're not a favorite, but they are
- 30:13Speaker 1: a hey, they could do it again if you're not careful.
- 30:17Speaker 1: They are the team you cover your basis with when
- 30:19Speaker 1: you're talking about it and you're like, yeah, the favorites
- 30:20Speaker 1: of Buffalo cant City. We don't forget about Cincinnati that
- 30:23Speaker 1: way if they do win. You did say, don't forget
- 30:24Speaker 1: about it? Who said don't forget about and you don't
- 30:29Speaker 1: have to commit to them. But Joe Burrow, he's awesome, man.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Joe Burrow is just I just trust him. I didn't
- 30:36Speaker 1: matter what the situation is. Open our chargery, Joe Burrow,
- 30:40Speaker 1: pop in here, buddy. I trust to you. You You can
- 30:42Speaker 1: do it playing a commercial airliner. You let's go all right?
- 30:45Speaker 1: So no, but yes, I just don't forget about him. Okay,
- 30:48Speaker 1: next one up? Do you think sticking with the Bills here?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Their injuries, Von Miller's injury, you feel less confident with
- 30:54Speaker 1: them now him going down for the year. What's crazy?
- 30:56Speaker 1: Is we don't think about Buffalo's defense that much because
- 30:58Speaker 1: they have Josh Allen and they have digs and we
- 31:00Speaker 1: could just go through. Um, but he was such an
- 31:03Speaker 1: instrumental part of that defense huge, not even just his
- 31:07Speaker 1: play but also the guy that's orchestrating a lot of
- 31:12Speaker 1: the play calls as well. Um. Yeah, I imagine it's
- 31:17Speaker 1: gonna be real big for them, but probably not as
- 31:21Speaker 1: big in everyone's mind because they're not the focal port,
- 31:23Speaker 1: focal point of that team as far as from the
- 31:26Speaker 1: public perception. It's a Josh Allen offense. But yeah, I
- 31:29Speaker 1: would imagine. But the good thing is they can score
- 31:31Speaker 1: a lot of points. So if they couldn't score a
- 31:35Speaker 1: lot of points, that they gotta be a little more concerned.
- 31:37Speaker 1: But Buffalo is a health They're a healthy, healthy, healthy organization,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and it's weird to say that after the whole life
- 31:42Speaker 1: time of them not being I still think they're fine
- 31:45Speaker 1: until they prove otherwise. I feel like Josh Allen's they're
- 31:48Speaker 1: not talking about his arm anymore. No, he's hit that
- 31:51Speaker 1: pretty well. If he's still hurting, we can't tell. And
- 31:53Speaker 1: I don't know that he still is anymore. No, literally,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I don't know he still is. I don't know, you
- 31:59Speaker 1: have no clue I'm gonna go with. I'm sure they're
- 32:01Speaker 1: going to have to figure out how to do it,
- 32:03Speaker 1: but I think they're going to figure out how to
- 32:05Speaker 1: do it because they are a well run organization. Right now,
- 32:07Speaker 1: can von Miller still be an effective leader from the sideline? Like,
- 32:11Speaker 1: is that possible? Yes? But what's effective? I mean, his
- 32:17Speaker 1: play was a big part of why he was so
- 32:20Speaker 1: effective as a player and a leader. But yes, I
- 32:23Speaker 1: think he'll be respected. It also comes to a point
- 32:26Speaker 1: where once players are hurt, like how much do they
- 32:28Speaker 1: actually still invest in He'll still be there, He'll still
- 32:30Speaker 1: be doing everything. And I don't know von Miller personally,
- 32:32Speaker 1: but I know some players that yeah, they're there and
- 32:34Speaker 1: they're on the sideline shooting, but they're not in the
- 32:36Speaker 1: room all the time. They're not spending all this time
- 32:39Speaker 1: in film with the other linebackers. Now, if he does that,
- 32:42Speaker 1: I think he's worth even more. But if he doesn't,
- 32:43Speaker 1: which I don't know that we all would spend the
- 32:45Speaker 1: exact same amount of time if we're injured in those rooms.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Then if we weren't, but you probably have to rehab too,
- 32:52Speaker 1: so that takes a lot of time, so yes, he
- 32:56Speaker 1: can be effective, but as effective probably not. Next up,
- 32:59Speaker 1: last one, do you think Jalen hurts in the Eagles
- 33:01Speaker 1: or in a conference of their own in the NFC?
- 33:04Speaker 1: Now they're also in a conference with the Cowboys and
- 33:06Speaker 1: the Commanders and the Giants. That's a whole conference. Um.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I think I think the Cowboys can beat them. I
- 33:15Speaker 1: love it. I do. I think the Cowboys can beat them. Yes,
- 33:18Speaker 1: they're awesome. I did bet them to have the most
- 33:22Speaker 1: wins of any team in the NFL at the beginning
- 33:26Speaker 1: of the season. I'm pretty happy about that so far.
- 33:28Speaker 1: But I do think they have a couple of losses
- 33:29Speaker 1: still remaining. I think the Cowboys can beat them. I
- 33:31Speaker 1: think the Cowboys will beat them. I think they they will,
- 33:35Speaker 1: and then they probably will again in the playoffs. When
- 33:38Speaker 1: do they play again? Christmas Eve? That would be awesome
- 33:43Speaker 1: and they'll be playing full strength quarterback, both running backs. Long,
- 33:46Speaker 1: nothing crazy happens this weekend. Let's go Cowboys Nation? Is
- 33:51Speaker 1: that what we say? Yeah, that's fine cowboys who know them? Boys?
- 33:59Speaker 1: That's just so stupid. No, it's not. No, it's not
- 34:01Speaker 1: dim boys is stupid? Yeah, I agree, but I thought
- 34:05Speaker 1: it was connected. Uh. In the end, I think you
- 34:09Speaker 1: have the Cowboys. I think you have the Eagles. The
- 34:13Speaker 1: Giants are pretenders, the Commanders Vikings, don't the Vikings are
- 34:19Speaker 1: the Vikings. They're not pretenders, but they're they're Bengals light. No, hey,
- 34:29Speaker 1: don't forget about the Vikings. They're Bengals light. They're Bengals
- 34:35Speaker 1: without as good a quarterback. Where if they do, you're,
- 34:39Speaker 1: like I told you, don't forget about them, but you
- 34:41Speaker 1: don't really expect them to. I think they're ceiling is
- 34:46Speaker 1: winning the second round ceiling, but don't forget about him.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Where do the Bucks stand in your in your visions
- 34:55Speaker 1: here in the NFC? Their offensive blind is why they're
- 35:02Speaker 1: probably not going to win it. Freddy has no time.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Freddy's arm is great, Bredy can still fling it, but
- 35:08Speaker 1: he's like this, he has to get rid of it
- 35:10Speaker 1: because he's just if I were sixty three, I wouldn't
- 35:12Speaker 1: want to get hit either. I mean when I fall
- 35:15Speaker 1: now at forty, it hurts to get up. Just now,
- 35:17Speaker 1: even if I sit on the floor to play with
- 35:18Speaker 1: the dogs getting up, Yes, imagine you're forty five and
- 35:23Speaker 1: getting hit knocked down there and then getting up. You
- 35:25Speaker 1: can see it in his face every single time, like, oh,
- 35:27Speaker 1: that's gonna hurt if that offensive line could just play better.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Don't forget about the Bucks. Don't forget can they do?
- 35:35Speaker 1: Hurry up offense the entire game, the entire game, the
- 35:40Speaker 1: first snap, go go, go, go go, no huddle. Let's
- 35:42Speaker 1: I don't think four net is enough of a receiving
- 35:46Speaker 1: running back to be able to do that, because it
- 35:48Speaker 1: seems like that's the only thing that's working for him
- 35:50Speaker 1: in the last two minutes of the game. Hurry up,
- 35:52Speaker 1: no huddle, let's put it. Okay, here's what we're gonna do.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Every drive we have one minute, no time out. I
- 36:00Speaker 1: could be exhausted, but I still have faith in Tampa
- 36:04Speaker 1: to to come together a little better. And it's only
- 36:08Speaker 1: because of Brady. It's a it's a faith that is
- 36:09Speaker 1: not deserved except for Tom Brady. So don't forget about
- 36:13Speaker 1: the Bucks. You firmly say, don't forget about it, don't
- 36:17Speaker 1: forget about We're forgetting that division though. Just think about this,
- 36:21Speaker 1: the Bucks or the Saints Falcons or the Falcons, which
- 36:26Speaker 1: which is switch quarterbacks? Ritter is gonna be the quarterback
- 36:28Speaker 1: this week. Don't forget about the falcon or the Panthers
- 36:31Speaker 1: are they're going to host a playoff game. Think about that.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Somebody has to win that division and they will host
- 36:38Speaker 1: a playoff game. You don't want to have to go
- 36:41Speaker 1: to Tampa and play Tom Brady even if they come
- 36:44Speaker 1: in one game under five. So that's what's up. Don't
- 36:50Speaker 1: forget about Hey, don't forget about the whole division. I
- 36:53Speaker 1: still feel like the Panthers can go, can do it? Hey,
- 36:58Speaker 1: don't forget about the band? Is that ite? Kevin? All Right?

- 37:28Speaker 1: They have a bunch too. They load up that are
- 37:31Speaker 1: just fun if you're not sure what to do. So
- 37:35Speaker 1: last night the one that I mentioned, I just want
- 37:37Speaker 1: to look at it here. They do have the two
- 37:40Speaker 1: step authentication as well. Do you guys do that? Where
- 37:41Speaker 1: it textually? The number? Now the one that I hit
- 37:44Speaker 1: last night was Boom, here we go cam Akers anytime
- 37:50Speaker 1: touchdown score plus two forty cam Akers rushing yards over forty.
- 37:55Speaker 1: He hit both of those. And then I bet Paul
- 37:57Speaker 1: George points over twenty and more than two Paul George
- 38:02Speaker 1: three pointers made. Wow. I bet fifty bucks and one
- 38:06Speaker 1: like four hundred and that was pre made. Yeah. I
- 38:10Speaker 1: love that because I got there late. I got the
- 38:11Speaker 1: party late, you know, and he was just yelling at you.
- 38:15Speaker 1: What was it called l a something. It's I think
- 38:18Speaker 1: it was called like l a parlay something like that.
- 38:22Speaker 1: So it's just great, right, even if you don't know
- 38:24Speaker 1: what you're doing, like sometimes I don't. I just picked that.
- 38:26Speaker 1: I thought it'll look fun. Right now, everybody can turn

- 39:04Speaker 1: to have on the Kansas state head coach today, but
- 39:06Speaker 1: I got sick for some reason. We can never get
- 39:09Speaker 1: him on. Mike still gets the credit because he was
- 39:11Speaker 1: coming on perfect. We still haven't lined up for next week.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Trying to get it next week. Yeah, but if we can't,
- 39:16Speaker 1: that was on me had no voice and so we
- 39:17Speaker 1: had to cancel. I had to cancel. But that's one
- 39:20Speaker 1: point from Mike. Now, if we look at the standings
- 39:22Speaker 1: right now, Mike scores are Mike one, Kevin to Kevin two,
- 39:26Speaker 1: and then everybody else zero. But now is the time, totally,
- 39:31Speaker 1: Now is the time to go hunting because they're just
- 39:33Speaker 1: practicing Bowl games coming up. They've got nothing but free time. Yeah,
- 39:37Speaker 1: I gotta revise my my set up, my pre written
- 39:41Speaker 1: text because it's it's all like, hey, I know you're busy,
- 39:44Speaker 1: you're in the middle of the grind, so I gotta
- 39:45Speaker 1: like re customize it. You think that's the reason you're
- 39:48Speaker 1: not getting him from that, Yeah, yeah, yeah, because I
- 39:50Speaker 1: mean you don't want to send them that one now
- 39:51Speaker 1: and then be like, dude, we're not in the grind.
- 39:52Speaker 1: This is obviously a pre made text are you? Are
- 39:55Speaker 1: you m M or email dminum which I'm verified now,
- 39:59Speaker 1: so I'm figuring that's like right in. Yeah, but you
- 40:01Speaker 1: won't get into the you know what as in Eddie,
- 40:05Speaker 1: let me explain to you as somebody that's newly verified, Okay,
- 40:08Speaker 1: you don't see everybody's message that comes to you that's verified. Yeah,
- 40:11Speaker 1: because if you go in, you have to go to
- 40:13Speaker 1: your messages, and then you have to actually go into
- 40:17Speaker 1: your requests, and then you have to go into you
- 40:19Speaker 1: can need to do all requests or top requests, and
- 40:22Speaker 1: only if they hit top requests. Well, yours popped through,
- 40:25Speaker 1: so but if they do that, mine goes all the
- 40:27Speaker 1: way to the top. If you have more followers than
- 40:29Speaker 1: other people, but you probably are in the top five
- 40:32Speaker 1: or six. But I would I would really recommend the
- 40:35Speaker 1: email round. What I'm thinking though, is that they're going
- 40:37Speaker 1: to be like, oh, that sounds cool, but who is
- 40:39Speaker 1: this guy? Oh he's verified. Oh this is who he is.
- 40:43Speaker 1: So it automatically takes me to the top. But what
- 40:44Speaker 1: my'm ascle learning though is a lot of these coaches
- 40:47Speaker 1: they don't allow d m s because I guess a
- 40:49Speaker 1: lot of fans is trash talk him think one would think.
- 40:53Speaker 1: So I've realized that. So yes, coach, I haven't sent
- 40:56Speaker 1: a penis picture too, So that's probably with a on it.
- 41:00Speaker 1: That's probably on the tips one of Bobby's guys. Again,
- 41:05Speaker 1: I'm not open, So that's probably why they shut that
- 41:09Speaker 1: down all right, because everybody knows as soon as they
- 41:12Speaker 1: get a d one job the hog on the tip,
- 41:15Speaker 1: it's going around the logger round. I would go email,
- 41:21Speaker 1: but if you want to cash, it's there to be taken.
- 41:25Speaker 1: M Yeah, and he's like, man, I get I go
- 41:28Speaker 1: my Space and log in and UM okay, so the
- 41:32Speaker 1: coach that's the deal there. Um We're gonna talk about
- 41:35Speaker 1: Jerry Jones in a second, but first let's go over
- 41:37Speaker 1: to Adams stats. Here he is hit its Adam has
- 41:42Speaker 1: all your steps at m stats. You guys, it's the
- 41:48Speaker 1: most important college football week of the Year's Army Navy game.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Who's you now? Okayon and stop? Well, let me say
- 41:57Speaker 1: what I'm gonna say. First of all, I can't say
- 42:00Speaker 1: positive things about our military just you say this. It
- 42:06Speaker 1: almost looks like a time machine game sometimes just because
- 42:09Speaker 1: the running offenses from the seventies and eighties Army and
- 42:12Speaker 1: there's maybe not indicative of their schemes this year. But
- 42:16Speaker 1: I won't watch it for a few minutes and then
- 42:18Speaker 1: I go, what else is on his? Army is still
- 42:21Speaker 1: doing all the options? Dude? I don't know. I mean
- 42:23Speaker 1: because I watched one game where that's all they did,
- 42:25Speaker 1: and how they run off is like I would run
- 42:27Speaker 1: when I played college football on PlayStation. All options, all
- 42:32Speaker 1: the time. Um so, b Yes, it's the only I'm
- 42:36Speaker 1: glad they put this at a week though, when there's
- 42:37Speaker 1: no other football that when we focus on it and
- 42:38Speaker 1: appreciate the military for a second. It's a really cool tradition.
- 42:42Speaker 1: The Adam stat this week is as much as fact
- 42:45Speaker 1: is more than a stat. But Nie, I want you
- 42:48Speaker 1: to picture this. JFK just been shot. The country was
- 42:51Speaker 1: in mourning. They were going to cancel the game because
- 42:54Speaker 1: because of kind of the morning factor, but Jackie Kennedy
- 42:57Speaker 1: insisted that they have the game because JFK loved it
- 43:00Speaker 1: so much, big dramatic game. Army got stuff on the
- 43:03Speaker 1: two yard line at the finish of the game as
- 43:05Speaker 1: time expired. Navy one. Um. But the most important thing
- 43:09Speaker 1: about the game three the first time that they used
- 43:12Speaker 1: instant replay in sports anywhere was v goodness changed sports forever. Man.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Remember when the hardcore traditionals were like, no instant replay,
- 43:23Speaker 1: absolutely not. No, I mean that's pretty recent. No, we
- 43:25Speaker 1: don't want it to replay at all. I mean the
- 43:27Speaker 1: last twenty years. And now I think there should be
- 43:31Speaker 1: a role up. You only have certain amount of time
- 43:32Speaker 1: to use instant replay. But again, we can't let me
- 43:35Speaker 1: talk about a suit out of them as right alterations. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 43:40Speaker 1: And so it's just crazy how things even talking about
- 43:44Speaker 1: college football and n I L S and I'm glad
- 43:46Speaker 1: I am you brought this up. People like I can't
- 43:48Speaker 1: believe players get paid. It's all controversy. And when they
- 43:51Speaker 1: started to give players scholarships to play football, people reacted
- 43:56Speaker 1: the same exact way. You're gonna give him a free
- 43:58Speaker 1: education for playing a stupid sport. They should play the
- 44:01Speaker 1: sport for the love of the game. It's the same
- 44:03Speaker 1: thing over and over again in music, in our in sport,
- 44:06Speaker 1: it's the same thing. It's the same thing people the
- 44:09Speaker 1: traditions play. We're gonna pay for their school to come
- 44:12Speaker 1: and play a sport. But now obviously it's his second
- 44:15Speaker 1: nature because they're bringing I like instant replay. I like
- 44:20Speaker 1: Army Navy, and I like the fact that we have
- 44:22Speaker 1: a day in sports to recognize and to watch. I
- 44:26Speaker 1: think if your Army or Navy and have friends that
- 44:28Speaker 1: have been in both, they love that game and they
- 44:30Speaker 1: hate the other school until they have to fight with them.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Then it's like for real again. But for a minute
- 44:34Speaker 1: they get to hate them. Yes, it's a real thing. Um,
- 44:37Speaker 1: this one is you know, Tom Baker, Tom Brady Mayfield
- 44:41Speaker 1: over here last night coming and clutch twice. That's the
- 44:45Speaker 1: amount of times in the Super Bowl era that a
- 44:46Speaker 1: quarterback has come off the bench, thrown for two hundred yards,
- 44:50Speaker 1: rallied from at least thirteen points down to win both times.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield, Baby, that's it. The only guy, only one,
- 44:58Speaker 1: The only guy ever to do that? Throwing for two yards,
- 45:01Speaker 1: come off the bench, down for thirteen points? When where
- 45:03Speaker 1: did it come off the bench the first time? Brown's
- 45:06Speaker 1: who was the quarterback? Oh? That I think he had
- 45:08Speaker 1: gotten taken out during the middle of the season. Who
- 45:10Speaker 1: was the quarterback? Was that the that that was his debut?
- 45:13Speaker 1: That was his debut, his first game, his first game? Yeah,
- 45:16Speaker 1: do we know who the court of the starting quarterback was? Then?
- 45:18Speaker 1: I want to say it was? What's his name? If
- 45:20Speaker 1: you can nail this, I see his face? No oswa No, no,
- 45:29Speaker 1: I don't know. Okay, well I don't either. There was
- 45:31Speaker 1: no answer. Somebody can look that up. Um, okay, thank you.
- 45:34Speaker 1: There you go. Hey, it's hottest balls in here, is it? Yeah?
- 45:36Speaker 1: Can we would you mind turning the air down? We
- 45:38Speaker 1: have like nine people packed in this tunic can, which
- 45:41Speaker 1: we never have. You could turn it down a few degrees.
- 45:42Speaker 1: I would be awesome. All right, there you go, Adam Stads,
- 45:45Speaker 1: Thank you, Adam. He's got those stats for you. It
- 45:56Speaker 1: is a big week for us because we're going to Dallas.
- 46:01Speaker 1: We're gonna go meet the Cowboys or are we? Or
- 46:06Speaker 1: are we? There has been developments in the situation dude,
- 46:11Speaker 1: you sent that text and I I, well, don't let me.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Let me tell them what happened. So forever we've been
- 46:17Speaker 1: excited about going to Dallas and hanging out with Jerry
- 46:20Speaker 1: Jones and interviewing him, sitting in the box, just getting
- 46:23Speaker 1: to experience a Cowboys game like somebody cool, which we
- 46:27Speaker 1: don't claim to be cool do we guys know we're
- 46:29Speaker 1: not coming. And so we lined this up about a
- 46:34Speaker 1: month and a half or so ago, would you say, Eddie?
- 46:38Speaker 1: And I got a text and he goes, hey, can
- 46:42Speaker 1: we talk tomorrow. There's been some things that have transpired
- 46:46Speaker 1: and I need to talk to you. It's from one
- 46:49Speaker 1: of the heads at the Dallas Cowboys. And I'm like, okay,
- 46:52Speaker 1: because some developments have created a situation, we'll call you
- 46:56Speaker 1: before five And I said all right. It actually said, MM,
- 47:02Speaker 1: I don't want to say what it is, but something
- 47:04Speaker 1: happened and it's throwing several things up in the air
- 47:07Speaker 1: for this weekend. I expect to have clarity by tomorrow afternoon.
- 47:10Speaker 1: We'll call you at five pm with the update. And
- 47:13Speaker 1: so I was nervous and the next day five o'clock
- 47:16Speaker 1: came and I did not get a call. And then boom,
- 47:23Speaker 1: a number from Dallas calls and I answer it, say hello.
- 47:29Speaker 1: He says, Hey, this is so and so we appreciate
- 47:32Speaker 1: your patients. We're still on. Yeah, that's huge. Yeah, he said,
- 47:41Speaker 1: we were really close to having a cancel it because
- 47:43Speaker 1: there's some things sports related things, and but we're still
- 47:47Speaker 1: good to go. We're still on. I really thought I
- 47:49Speaker 1: was gonna be canceled. Man. I started thinking about this, like,
- 47:52Speaker 1: I wonder if the conversation was just like, all right,
- 47:55Speaker 1: there's some stuff that you know, if we allow a
- 47:58Speaker 1: full intense interview with Jerry Jones with someone like I
- 48:01Speaker 1: don't want to talk We don't want to talk about
- 48:03Speaker 1: the stuff. We can't talk about this stuff right now.
- 48:05Speaker 1: But but the reputation of the dude coming into town
- 48:08Speaker 1: is like, he's gonna keep it real. He's cool, he
- 48:10Speaker 1: respects us, he's gonna ask good questions, but he's not
- 48:13Speaker 1: gonna invade our privacy. So let Bobby do it. That
- 48:15Speaker 1: was my really my thought of just like do what
- 48:17Speaker 1: cool reputation do you have that they're thinking like, No,
- 48:20Speaker 1: Bobby would be a great one to talk to. I'm
- 48:21Speaker 1: not worried about him. I don't know if that's the
- 48:23Speaker 1: case or not. That's what I would hope for it
- 48:24Speaker 1: to be. But because they're not gonna let someone who like,
- 48:28Speaker 1: oh you know someone who they're not gonna let bar
- 48:30Speaker 1: stool in there right now, right now, they probably were
- 48:34Speaker 1: not that they won't ever, but I think at this
- 48:35Speaker 1: time when they don't want certain to talk about certain
- 48:37Speaker 1: things because you can jepardize certain things. So but I
- 48:41Speaker 1: said to them, hey, look we I don't do got
- 48:43Speaker 1: you interviews. I think there was a time in my
- 48:45Speaker 1: career where I was trying to do got you because
- 48:47Speaker 1: I needed people to pay attention to me. I said,
- 48:49Speaker 1: I get enough attention. Now I'm good. I just want
- 48:51Speaker 1: to do a good interview because I wanted to be
- 48:53Speaker 1: good for three years. Ain't trying to get a click
- 48:56Speaker 1: for a week, and I wanted to be good that
- 48:57Speaker 1: if we hit you up next year, you're like, of course,
- 48:59Speaker 1: with love, talk to you again. And we're all big
- 49:02Speaker 1: Cowboys fans, including yourself. So you don't want to burn
- 49:04Speaker 1: that bridge now, hud cowboys, you better get that right
- 49:07Speaker 1: before that Sunday. Oh my god, do not do that
- 49:12Speaker 1: to Mr Jones please. So we're gonna go and I
- 49:15Speaker 1: haven't asked him. I said, hey, I like to talk
- 49:18Speaker 1: about what people like to talk about because it then
- 49:21Speaker 1: allows me to talk about things that maybe they hate
- 49:25Speaker 1: to talk about, but maybe they don't love to talk
- 49:27Speaker 1: about them, but they're like, yeah, yeah, that had such
- 49:28Speaker 1: a good ti talking about stuff I don't normally get
- 49:30Speaker 1: to talk about. I'm happy to talk about other things, Mike, can.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I do it all the time with people. When we
- 49:33Speaker 1: do the Bobby Cast, you get somebody loose and talking
- 49:35Speaker 1: about things they love, and you're just like boom boom,
- 49:38Speaker 1: and they're in such a good place that if you
- 49:40Speaker 1: do decide to go somewhere that they're not used to going,
- 49:44Speaker 1: they're fine because I'm not going in where controversial anyway.
- 49:48Speaker 1: But I said, hey, what would Mr Jones like to
- 49:51Speaker 1: talk about? Like what does he love that people probably
- 49:54Speaker 1: don't ever ask him about because it's always what's happening
- 49:57Speaker 1: this week with the Cowboys, this drama, this drama. That
- 50:01Speaker 1: player said this, tell me they said Pokemon. They did
- 50:05Speaker 1: not say Pokemon. But I do have a list of
- 50:07Speaker 1: things because I asked for it. I said, hey, what
- 50:10Speaker 1: what does he want? What do you want to talk about?
- 50:13Speaker 1: And so I have some stuff here nobody have asked
- 50:16Speaker 1: him about music. Wow, this is great, perfect, And I'm like,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I do about a couple of talk They said, it's
- 50:28Speaker 1: always so cowboys centric and headline centric that he never
- 50:32Speaker 1: just gets to talk about what he enjoys. I just
- 50:36Speaker 1: talk about things I enjoy. He's like, I love slip knot,
- 50:41Speaker 1: let's go disturbed, favorite foods, the importance of relationships, approach
- 50:52Speaker 1: to operate in the Cowboys like like general things that
- 50:56Speaker 1: will be quote unquote evergreen, which I enjoy because we
- 50:59Speaker 1: can use and people will like to listen to it forever.
- 51:01Speaker 1: So and they send us a thing, and so we
- 51:03Speaker 1: are m I did stick you too, in the same room,
- 51:07Speaker 1: same hotel, room, two beds, me and Mike. Yeah, it's
- 51:10Speaker 1: a really nice hotel. And I thought, because I have
- 51:12Speaker 1: to pay for all this, and so I thought, you
- 51:14Speaker 1: get to a rather state a really nice hotel with
- 51:16Speaker 1: us in the same room, two beds that have to
- 51:19Speaker 1: stay in a crappy hotel than aart that's fine. Mike,
- 51:24Speaker 1: who's good. And so we get there early in the
- 51:31Speaker 1: morning Sunday. We go to the hangar, which is close
- 51:33Speaker 1: to the hotel, which is also reason we picked the hotel.
- 51:36Speaker 1: We ride in the chop over to Arlington, we Land.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Hopefully we get a headset. Yeah, but it was really cool, man,
- 51:51Speaker 1: that's all when you get those headset. The only time
- 51:54Speaker 1: I've ever had a headset in a helicopter, because I've
- 51:55Speaker 1: been a few helicopters, mostly for stupid things. I'm doing
- 51:59Speaker 1: a television which I never liked because I always knew
- 52:03Speaker 1: what was coming soon after Bear Grylls Breaking Boy Bones.
- 52:06Speaker 1: The only time I get to write on one it
- 52:07Speaker 1: was kind of fun. Was I went to Blake Shelton.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I stayed with him for a weekend and he the
- 52:13Speaker 1: helicopter took me to the airport from that place in
- 52:17Speaker 1: Oklahoma to the Dallas airport, which I guess is pretty
- 52:19Speaker 1: pretty close like his ranch. Yeah. Yeah, Micro had really
- 52:24Speaker 1: funny joke about Blake that I didn't do because it
- 52:26Speaker 1: had something in the joke that I don't think I
- 52:27Speaker 1: was supposed to share. What is it? Well, I can't
- 52:30Speaker 1: say here and I really can not bad nothing, nothing
- 52:36Speaker 1: like that. But it's like it's just, you know, people
- 52:38Speaker 1: have their own personal I'm never going to reveal something
- 52:40Speaker 1: if somebody doesn't want it revealed personally. Um, but that
- 52:44Speaker 1: helicopter was funk Is out a headset and I remember
- 52:46Speaker 1: talking to I think it was Rod who was riding
- 52:50Speaker 1: with me, and I was pretty cool up here? Do
- 52:53Speaker 1: you have to hit a button to talk? When you
- 52:56Speaker 1: start talking, it just picks up. So the very first
- 52:58Speaker 1: part of a syllables is always slap. He cut off.
- 53:01Speaker 1: So it'd be like if I said you, well, you
- 53:04Speaker 1: don't know, but what you oh, you would hear is
- 53:06Speaker 1: buck you elimate. The whole thing would just eliminate thatens
- 53:11Speaker 1: you automatic, just the first part of that syllable yourself.
- 53:15Speaker 1: So Jerry's like, what did you say? We're gonna go.
- 53:19Speaker 1: We're gonna We're gonna I don't know what we're gonna do.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I have no idea how it's gonna work. We're going
- 53:23Speaker 1: to have a blast whatever it is, dude, it's gonna
- 53:26Speaker 1: be amazing. I cannot wait. I'm still not building it
- 53:29Speaker 1: up yet, Mike, are you no? Not at all? Guys,
- 53:31Speaker 1: anything could happen and then what's super cool little treat
- 53:34Speaker 1: even to myself. DeMarcus Ware was gonna meet up with
- 53:36Speaker 1: this amazing who's one of my friends, and he hit
- 53:39Speaker 1: me up and he was like, yo, when he and
- 53:42Speaker 1: he thought I was there this last week. He was like,
- 53:43Speaker 1: where are you? I'm not there. Next week he goes, Okay,
- 53:45Speaker 1: I'll see then. So we're gonna hang out with DeMarcus
- 53:48Speaker 1: where It's like, my dude, am I gonna be there?
- 53:51Speaker 1: I don't know, but you know what, I literally can
- 53:53Speaker 1: if he is there, let's meet him. I mean, in
- 53:56Speaker 1: my head, every cowboy is there's going to be there.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know Troy. I do know,
- 54:03Speaker 1: I do know Dancing with the Stars, and I know
- 54:05Speaker 1: both of them. I do know Emmett and I do
- 54:07Speaker 1: know DeMarcus really well. But if Emmett's there, I'm sure
- 54:11Speaker 1: we can meet him. Who's announcing Mike hold On? That
- 54:14Speaker 1: might be a CBS game by which rom But I
- 54:17Speaker 1: don't know, guys, I don't know. Even it's Fox. I
- 54:19Speaker 1: looked at it. I don't know Romo, though. You guys
- 54:22Speaker 1: are acting like we can just get anybody in that
- 54:24Speaker 1: cold place. Why you're there, Greg Olson? Maybe I like
- 54:27Speaker 1: Mike's image of all the cowboys, just like the Ring
- 54:33Speaker 1: of Honor sits in the room as we interview. Is
- 54:35Speaker 1: that too tall? Like that's funny? We just go ed
- 54:40Speaker 1: he turns around too tall, Ed Jones, that's not yeah, sorry,
- 54:46Speaker 1: but just another time. So we are doing that this weekend,
- 54:49Speaker 1: hopefully if everything goes right. We're very excited about that.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Speaking of being excited about something, what's the game you're
- 54:55Speaker 1: most excited about this week? If I were to go
- 54:57Speaker 1: to you, it's all NFL. Sure, there's the Army Navy game.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I don't think we know enough about that. We're uneducated
- 55:04Speaker 1: and those teams, right, Adam was telling us something cool
- 55:08Speaker 1: earlier about Army and their size prerequisites. Yeah wait before this, Yeah,
- 55:13Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna say Army in their story play.
- 55:15Speaker 1: That's gonna go. Yeah, Awards, you were talking about how
- 55:20Speaker 1: it looks like a time capsule when you're watching that game.
- 55:23Speaker 1: That's because the Service academies they have size requirements. So
- 55:26Speaker 1: if you're six four, you can only be up to
- 55:29Speaker 1: like two and forty pounds, and like they have be
- 55:32Speaker 1: a monster. You can't. You can't be a monster because
- 55:34Speaker 1: they because these guys fly planes and they do like
- 55:36Speaker 1: actual functional things. I didn't know that. That's an awesome
- 55:39Speaker 1: Adam stat. Here we go. How did that? I thought
- 55:42Speaker 1: that was gonna be the stat How did that make
- 55:44Speaker 1: that's the best one game you're most excited about, Eddie. Yeah,
- 55:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with the Bucks in the forty niners.
- 55:49Speaker 1: I want to see what John Purdy or whatever his
- 55:51Speaker 1: name is, gonna do whatever. I want to see how
- 55:55Speaker 1: he does Purdy versus Brady. I still I'm thinking Brady
- 55:59Speaker 1: is gonna lose this game. They are a three point underdog,
- 56:02Speaker 1: so I'm pumped about this one, Kevin. For me, it's
- 56:04Speaker 1: Jets Bills a f ceast Patriots, same division, and I
- 56:07Speaker 1: just want to see if the Jets are for real.
- 56:09Speaker 1: They beat him a few weeks ago. I think Josh
- 56:10Speaker 1: Allen's pissed and I'm excited to see you what the
- 56:12Speaker 1: Bills can do in Buffalo. They're ten point favorite. Yeah,
- 56:15Speaker 1: a ten point favorite. I thought that was a little
- 56:19Speaker 1: high too, But what do I know. Did you see
- 56:21Speaker 1: the Cowboys game? Yeah, seventeen. I think it's like I
- 56:24Speaker 1: love the Boys, but I don't know that's a lot. Yeah,
- 56:27Speaker 1: Dallas is seventeen point favorite. That is that's the biggestpread
- 56:30Speaker 1: this year, right, Oh? Yes, I feel like they spread
- 56:34Speaker 1: seen in a while. I feel like if this little
- 56:36Speaker 1: group here had a team, it would be like sixteen
- 56:40Speaker 1: but the Texans at seventeen Adam give me Dolphins and Chargers.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Because the more I hear clips of Mike McDaniel on
- 56:46Speaker 1: the sidelines miked up just like talking trash his own
- 56:48Speaker 1: dudes and being funny and looseth, the more I love
- 56:51Speaker 1: that dude. He's like intense but light, nerdy but swaggy.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I like that guy. He also said, hey, that's my fault.
- 56:57Speaker 1: And then the only game do you guys at the
- 56:58Speaker 1: clip where it's like, that's on me, that's on me,
- 57:00Speaker 1: I left up. That's cool. Yeah, And it's always cool
- 57:02Speaker 1: when somebody comes down with the new uh, a new
- 57:06Speaker 1: way to communicate, a new way to coach, and it works.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It's super cool and refreshing. Until it doesn't work. That
- 57:10Speaker 1: everybody like, of course it doesn't work. He doesn't like this.
- 57:12Speaker 1: It's Mike Leach. You can go to anybody who does
- 57:14Speaker 1: it differently. It's always a plus. We love it. This
- 57:17Speaker 1: is what we always wanted. Until it doesn't work and
- 57:19Speaker 1: it's like, well, of course it's not working that way.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I see it now with Sam Pittman in Arkansas, we
- 57:22Speaker 1: have a great season this year and it's like, well, yeah,
- 57:25Speaker 1: he's just a good old boy, but we want to
- 57:26Speaker 1: coach that comes in. It is, but last year everybody
- 57:28Speaker 1: was like, this is our guys, a good old boy
- 57:30Speaker 1: like relates. But yeah, I like that offense. I think
- 57:34Speaker 1: the Chargers can actually win that game, though. I feel
- 57:36Speaker 1: like the Charges are playing pretty good. Um as far
- 57:39Speaker 1: as games for me, listen, I think Carolina can run
- 57:44Speaker 1: through Seattle. I do Baker left, You're still on the
- 57:49Speaker 1: train that did He's dying with Carolina. I love it.
- 57:52Speaker 1: I do think I do. Seattle's run defense is bad.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I do think Carolina can win that game. That one's
- 57:58Speaker 1: interesting to me, But just the local interest is probably
- 58:02Speaker 1: the Titans and the Jaguars. The Jaguars are kind of
- 58:05Speaker 1: playing good again. Are they convincing us again they might
- 58:06Speaker 1: be pretty good next year? Because the first of you're like, okay,
- 58:10Speaker 1: they're pretty good. Then they get real bad and you're like, oh,
- 58:12Speaker 1: they we always knew they sucked, And now they're like, okay,
- 58:15Speaker 1: are they telling us they can be good next year?
- 58:18Speaker 1: So I think that game will be pretty good too.
- 58:19Speaker 1: And it's only like a three point spread. So those
- 58:21Speaker 1: are the games I mean I expect to beat down
- 58:25Speaker 1: in Denver when Kansas City goes into there, so that
- 58:28Speaker 1: probably means it won't be. But I do expect a
- 58:30Speaker 1: good old kanc City beat down where they're playing in
- 58:32Speaker 1: Broncos Country. Yes they are. Now here's what I'm gonna
- 58:38Speaker 1: give you, though. Whistles brought to you by Draft Kings

- 58:50Speaker 1: the history of this podcast, I've tackled all the NFL,
- 58:53Speaker 1: only because I'm be ingforced too, because there are no
- 58:54Speaker 1: college games that I would bet. But I am so
- 58:57Speaker 1: sure about this one. I am risking Eddie's car, my
- 59:02Speaker 1: only car. Ravens plus two at Pittsburgh. How we feel
- 59:07Speaker 1: about that one? Boys? I like it. I like it.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Titans minus four at Jacksonville versus Jacksonville in Tennessee, Titans
- 59:15Speaker 1: minus four in Tennessee. And finally the Vikings plus two
- 59:19Speaker 1: at Detroit, which I do not know. Why Detroit is
- 59:23Speaker 1: favorited in that game. I don't know either, and that
- 59:25Speaker 1: scares Yeah, it's still in Detroit. They've been playing well
- 59:32Speaker 1: I just picked that one because I don't understand, right. Yeah,
- 59:34Speaker 1: And the last time they got me with this they
- 59:36Speaker 1: were wrong. What was that game? Oh? Was that the Giants?
- 59:39Speaker 1: And earlier this year that the spread was so weird,
- 59:42Speaker 1: We're like, well, I guess we should believe it. Do
- 59:44Speaker 1: you remember that? Yeah? Who wasn't Green Bay? Was it?
- 59:47Speaker 1: Who cares? Anyway? It was? Actually I think it was
- 59:51Speaker 1: a green Bay was partly each week? Get it, it's
- 59:54Speaker 1: gonna be up Ravens plus two, Titans minus four, Vikings
- 59:56Speaker 1: plus two. Use the Cobobby Sports when you download the

- 1:00:18Speaker 1: no editing on this podcast, which is gonna be very
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: easy for the load up because sometimes I go so fast,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: so far Kevin nod snail that most of the time.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Let's go a couple of things, talk about real quick
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: coach prime in Colorado, come on, love it. Great situation
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: for him. I love Deon Sanders because I am lucky
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: enough to have had a relationship with Deon Sanders. I
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: loved him when I met him. I was nervous to
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: meet him, was starstruck while meeting him, and then after
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: spending many many days with him in extreme close quarters,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: came away going whatever he wants. Nervous because he seemed cocky. No,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: nervous because it's Deon Sanders and he's the greatest depends
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: back in the history the NFL. I thought maybe you
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: felt like you may not like him because he's such
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: a big character. He was never cocky in person when
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I was with him. He was never once cocky or arrogant.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: If anything, he was extremely humble. And I wrote about him.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: And haven't read my first book ever except for when
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I did the audio book, but I know I wrote
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: about you. Wrote it in my first book, Bare Bones,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Our experience together. We they brought me in as part
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: of like a hundred people as a cattle call and said, hey,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: we have this talk show that we're developing for ABC.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: We're gonna find a couple of hosts daytime talk show.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Do you want to be in the running? And I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was like, yeah, sure, So I go out. I spent
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: like two or three days just auditioning, doing one thing
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: after the other. I keep getta moved through, and like
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: the next to last day, I see Dean Sanders come
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: in and they didn't make him go through the cotter
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: call because it was like me and Lance Bass and
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: two D. Yeah, so he you know, he wasn't that level.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: And so I survive and there's like eight of us
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: left and he is one of them, and they team
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: us together and it was like magic, It's awesome. He
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: was drawn to me. I was drawn to him. I
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: was super nervous. I sat beside him at lunch, we
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: just we're talking, and so we worked together and it
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: ended up being him and I And there were a
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: couple other people on the show too that were kind
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: of side people that we'd go to, but it was
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: him and I hosted the show, and we did a
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: pilot whole episode is amazing, and spent a lot of
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: time with them, spent a lot of time with Tracy,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: his partner. She's awesome and so when he went to
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Jackson State. I remember this. I don't think he'd care
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: of me sharing this now. He texts me whenever that
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Florida State job came open. He's like, hey, we tweet
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: out there. You think I should host I a should
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: coach Florida State? And I was like, yeah, sure, how
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: do we not hire Deon Sanders the head coach of
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Florida State? And so he didn't get that job. I
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: think the coach of Memphis got the job. Who's there now?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: And he went to Jackson State and he won. They
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: want undefeated, turned the program around. I get it. His
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: whole career has been him because he's such a large personality.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: But I love it. I'm rooting for him. I hope
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: he goes over and kills it. I love him. I
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: but I have a very personal relationship with him. And
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I saw what kind of dute he was to somebody.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: He didn't have to be that kind of dude too.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: He had no reason to be super nice to me.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: He had you know, everybody's everybody can be nice, some
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: people aren't, but it was different. He was just the
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: kindest advice offering, advice taking guy. And we stayed in
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: touch after a bit, we don't. I text him when
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he the day the job was announced and it was
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: such a crazy day and takes me back. But he's awesome,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: So I'm pumped. I hope he goes over he gets
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: every portal kid. I hope they're They're awesome. You see
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: all those kids like loving to come coach coach on Twitter.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I see even TikTok people making TikTok. So he sees him.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Did you see his tweet where he's caught doing a call?
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I love that. It's amazing. Yeah, I love him. I
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: love him. He's gonna be in a good situation with
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: usc UM and the exodus to the Big ten over there,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: he's gonna have he's gonna be able to he's able
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to make some noise over there. Well, they're gonna be
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: on TV a lot too. Oh yeah, you want any
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: They're never on TV. Yeah, they don't even know how
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: they're getting the MONEYE, but they're gonna get it. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: the only person to ever goes the show, Trent Dilfer,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: going to you a b. They're never on TV. Yeah.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Well we sat we sat here and he never showed up.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Never that. And then he called me like two hours later,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: and I was like, I don't want to get right
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: because I don't want to have to. I was like,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I don't want to have to have the conversation. And
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: he said his calendar was messed up, so I never
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: answered it. But I think he'll do really well. You
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: ab obviously, it's a super Bowl winning quarterback who runs
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: a lead eight camps, who was a great scout for talent,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: who decided to do high school one state championships while recruiting.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I think he's gonna do wonderful. You a b. Yes,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: So I'm rooting for both of them. I like coach Dilfer.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I've met him. I was working out at his stadium.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: It was on a stadium what would you call that school, yeah, stadium,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: and we were working out over there because the track
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: was open, and he just walked on, was hanging out. Massive.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: You only think of him being big because all the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: other guys are bigger than him. Big dude. I went
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to a game and they were playing some team from
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I think like Mississippi probably, and the whole state of
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: the visitors side was full and they were talking about
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: how like we just came to see Dilver, Like, yeah,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: we you know we would. We wouldn't travel this far
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to just come see our kids play. Like we can't
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: see kids not this far. So I hope he does.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: What do we reach out to him and heard nothing?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Heard nothing. It was a big time. It's a very
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: busy time for them. Reach out again. Okay, know, yeah,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: they're in the middle of the grime. And that's what
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I said on my DM. Well know, they're the middle
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: of changing jobs. This might get a point for that. No,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: because he was almost a guest and he was a
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: high school coach at the time. Yes, um, okay, quick, quick, quick, quick.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: We got two things to do here. First of all,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: let's as we wrap up our fantasy leagues because we
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: have this weekend it goes to playoffs and people playing
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: multiple yeaks. How many leagues are you playing in and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: how are you doing quickly in each league? Okay, Eddie,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I'll let you go first. Yeah, easy. I'm in three
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: leagues hundred dollars each and I am only making the
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: playoffs in one, So it's been a bad year. The
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: team you're making the playoffs with it, they're really good.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Are you just their second? Overall? Yeah, they're pretty good.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: That I don't have a tight end. That's my weak
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: spot like I think I have because in our league,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you're not making the playoffs. No, I'm not making the playoffs.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: But in in our league, I'm trying not to finish last,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: which I think I'm doing pretty good. That what you
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: finished last, and they get to pay money exactly, So
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: we don't want to do that. But my do. My
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: achilles heel is my tight end. I lost, Um, I
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: forgot who I lost. I think Pits maybe or something.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: So now I have this Vegas tight end guy who's
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: scored nothing for me the last two games. So I
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: don't that that could be my enemy right there, Kevin,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I am in two leagues hundred dollars a piece as well.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: One of them. I started eight no doing great, and
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I've lost three of the last four starting players. Are
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: you leaving them empty? Uh? Don't do that, you get cocky,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: go ahead, still starting players. I'm in third right now,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and the other one, I would think I'm like five
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: and eight. I'm not really in the run for that one,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: but still al I've good to go in the main league,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Big league. We didn't really know you as a close
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: friend when our league started, but next year, we'll kick
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: somebody out. You can get in. Let's do it. Oh,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I know who to kick on? Great? Who got all
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: right in our league? Signs No, he's good, He's kick
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: him out for Kevin. Gotta be the GM two. Adam
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: oh Man. I think I'm gonna be Me and Mike
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: play this week. I'm in one league this that's the
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: only thing I'm in. Me and Mike play this week
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: to see who goes to the playoffs. And I've had
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Nagy Harris this year and he's been a massive disappointment.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson has been good in spots, but he hasn't
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: been consistently good all year. And I've had decent wide
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: receiver play, and then I lost Dallas Goddard who was
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: giving me good points. And so it's been kind of
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: a bad luck kind of kind of season. But you
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: guys are playing on the edge for the playoffs, last
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: last game of the season. Can't hold anything back now, Mike,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: he's been pretty good this first year to hop with us,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: and I'm playing in like ten years. Yeah, it's been
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: pretty good. It's tough when you get back in because
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: we at least have that wealth of semi knowledge of
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: playing the year before, knowing who sucked and who didn't,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: and knowing who got a bunch of point and who
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you wish you had that you didn't draft when you
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: sucked the year before. So may Mike's Mike's done pretty well.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Good luck, Thank you, not to you. You looked the
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: mic there, what are you bones? I'm in two leagues.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I usually don't like to play in one because I
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: don't like to have players on one team that I'm
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: playing against in a different league. It tears me apart inside.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: And so are you a one bracket dude? Two in
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the final March Madness one bracket? And if I do
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: play multiple brackets, I could pick all the same teams.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: That's crazy, because I don't. I can't. I just it
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: was like, it's like Iron Members Captain America. I can't
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: watch that movie because I like them both and they
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: want to square them off against each other and uncomfortable
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the whole time. And in Wrestingly they put two good
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: guys against each other, I'll be like, I don't know
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: what to do. So I whole Coke and Ultimate Warriors miserable.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: It was miserable for me in ourly that we have
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: our fantasy league amongst us, I'm in first place. I
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: am eleven and two or tendant too something like that.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I can look real quick and it's going pretty good.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know what to stakes. It's I'm
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I'm eleven and two. I drafted my homes in my quarterback,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: so that works. I get my homes. Yeah, my homes
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: and Sa Kuan Zeke has been really good for me.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: When I drafted the team, I think I heard four
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: or five people go, you think you're drafting the two
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: thousand nine fantasy team. I heard the same thing. Um
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: you know St. Brown, I took early because I felt
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: like he was and that was a really good pick
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: for me. Um so on that, I think I'm number
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: two and overall points, I'm number one in the league
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: over in the other secondary league, which I only got
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: in because our other league hadn't committed to doing yet.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I am number one of points and I am eight
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: and five, but I'm like number two in the league.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I'm number one in points. So if I win this week,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I'll get to buy and be number one, and if
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I don't, I won't get to buy it. I'll get
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: the playoffs. But I feel pretty good. I drafted most
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: of the same players. I told you guys this because
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I don't want to be, yeah, fighting amongst myself. The
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: only problem is I'm playing pat my homes this week.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I have Jalen Hurts as my quarterback in this league,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: and I have to play my other quarterback, and so
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I'm just not gonna watch any football. I'm just gonna
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: check in on it later and see. It's just a
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: good thing. You'll be busy. It eats me up inside.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: So but fantasy teams are doing pretty good. I enjoy fantasy.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: How many of you want, my wife asked me out
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the other day. I'm just like, but have you want?
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: But I want two championships. But I've I've been playing
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: for what ten years? And how many league? Yeah, I've
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: only played one league ever, this one we're in, and
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I think I've won four or five out of ten.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: It's pretty good, man, It's been pretty good. That's the
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: answer my wife wanted to hear but didn't get. One time,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I was playing Scotty in our league, my friend from
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: home but he plays in a league with us, and
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: we went to the as a championship game, and Scotty
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: had a running back that scored a touchdown to win
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: the league. And it was and it was. There was
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: like three minutes left. He scores a touchdown. I'm like, god,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: it's over by one point, right, I was up five.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: He scored a touchdown. Escort, he got six points. They
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: get the ball back, he fumbles. I went the lead,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: he fumbled. I won the championship. The fantasy version of
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: bad beats right there. Remember that, Well, I got bad
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: beat by that touchdown and I was like, I'm up
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: five all I oh no, no, no touchdown the end.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: And then they get the ball back and he fumbles,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: and I Scotty wouldn't talk to me for weeks, and
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, I didn't play. It wasn't me. I
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: didn't do it. I was awesome. And still talks about
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: the stack corrections. You always like that. Always wait, I
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: never know, but I haven't seen that in a long time. Hey,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: you never know. Okay, don't forget about direction, don't forget
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: about stack corrections. Okay, let's end the show. Let's give
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: some thoughts here, final thought of the week. Let's go
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: over to our guy, Eddie Eddie Man. We're about to
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: approach the greatest day of my life, not the days
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: my kids were born, but what we go to a
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: game with Terry Jones. Dude, It's gonna be crazy. There's
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: nothing else in my mind other than that. I cannot
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: wait Kevin. Last week I filled in for Eddie to
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: coach the Laker Bones and it didn't go so well.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: So I'm looking to redeem myself. Is you played a
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: team that was shouldn't have been you should have been
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: playing against. It was completely unfair. I called Eddie after
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: he called me, and I was like, dude, we didn't.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: We didn't belong on the same court as this team.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: So we're gonna redeem ourselves again. You shouldn't keep that
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: in your heart because you played a team they shouldn't
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: have ever teamed you up with, a team that was
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: far our skill. With nine year olds, there's a level.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: There are levels to play. Oh yeah yeah, and they
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: were they were gold. Even my son said, Dad, Dad,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: we we tried our best and there's just no way
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: these guys were so so, so so good. But Eddie
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: did say if he were there, he would have been
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: able to change it up, and I don't think it
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: would have been afforded. You too that Yeah, I can't
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: believe they scored forty point nine. Well they stopped, they
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: stopped the scoreboard at twenty but it was really twenty
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: two to two on the score but I could kept
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's just getting worse like this game.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: So do those kids get credited with the points that
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: like not on the or board? But if they scored
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: twenty four do they get to have all those points?
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: And you can record your own stats, but they don't
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: go anywhere? Is this for you, Adam? This week we
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: had my Christmas show at the Blueberry Cafe. We had
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: some good friends come by. Kobe Calais joined us, Carly
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Pierce joined us, Jimmy Robbins, Andy Albert and we had
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: an amazing time raising money from Room in the End.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: And so thanks to everybody came out. What what is
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: it again? Room in the Room in the End. It's
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: a it's a ministry in Nashville that does work with
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: the homeless community here and we had a blast. We
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: read some good money and it was awesome. That's cool man. Yeah. Uh,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Trevor Brazil's out at Arkansas even our six ft ten,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: six ft eleven. What happened now? He's so nasty. I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: didn't know that it really sucks for us. He can
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: shoot the three, he'd bring that that they're a big
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: guy out, which created more room, more space inside. I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: don't think it's a total season killer for Arkansas, but
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: I do think it's not fortunate. So really looking to
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: see how they bounced back. Tomorrow they're playing Oklahoma, which
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: you got beatle Oklhoma last year, but has a big
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: loss for the Arkansas basketball team. We're talked ten team
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: right now. We got a lot of freshmen. He was
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: really someone that we had big plans for. He'll go
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: to the NBA. He could have gone to the NBA
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: after this year. He still may, you know, even with
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: the injury. But you know, if anything, I hope he
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: stays and plays again next year. But it is a
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: big tough loss for US Arkansas fans. It's not time
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: we talked about Arkansas the whole show. Look at me
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: look a really growing due. Do you and your wife
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: watch that game together and she doesn't like she doesn't
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: really care about okahlam basketball? Um she would, I would say,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: doesn't care. She won't make it a part of her
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: day to block out time to watch that game. Football, yes, Basketball,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: not so much because they're not traditional yet great basketball
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: school where I've had a good team, but this year
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: they're not. I don't think they're that good. Whenever Blake
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: and his brother played. Yeah, oh Shelton different. All right,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: that's it, Thank you guys. I hope you have a
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: great weekend. Sorry the episodes up a little late. Other
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: than that, I think we were good. Kevin, what you
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: blow us out? Buddy Good. We'll see you next week.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Everybody Live,
