- 0:04What if our potential next president put someone in the Fed
- 0:09who is in favor of the gold standard?
- 0:11We've got big breaking news announced on Twitter that's very
- 0:16interesting regarding what we could see with the next
- 0:20presidency at the Fed, and it has everything to do with the
- 0:24gold standard. But we got more as well.
- 0:26Guys, if you heard about the Malignant 7, you probably heard
- 0:30of the magnificent 7, but what about the malignant 7?
- 0:33We're going to talk about them and a number of other factors
- 0:36that could result in massive amounts of money.
- 0:40Yes, going into your friend and my friend and thank you, by the
- 0:43way, for being here friends, please give this a thumbs up.
- 0:46Don't forget to subscribe. It's free.
- 0:48But our other friends, silver and gold, massive amounts of
- 0:53money moving in. If four or five of these factors
- 0:57come into fruition and we're going to cover all of that,
- 1:00what's the big trick? You've been tricked.
- 1:02We've all been tricked. Most people have been tricked by
- 1:06the education system, by the financial services industry.
- 1:10They don't tell you anything about gold and silver.
- 1:14But there's one big, big trick they pulled on everybody.
- 1:17We're going to cover that as well.
- 1:19We're going to do all this in 1/2 hour.
- 1:21By the way, also crazy comparison, silver in 1980
- 1:27compared to the Dow compared to silver now compared to the Dow,
- 1:31This one, this is the knock your socks off moment that you've all
- 1:35been waiting for. But let's get started with this
- 1:38big story about the gold standard, $20,000 gold.
- 1:43I didn't say it. Somebody else said it this time.
- 1:46But let's dig up. Let's dig into this and see what
- 1:48they're talking about, see what it has to do with the Fed.
- 1:52And this comes from our friend John Little over at Gold Star
- 1:56Gold Market Sub Stack. You can also follow him at the
- 1:59pickaxe. John Little, Big John Little, I
- 2:02like to call him, is like a warrior in the precious metals
- 2:06sector. I've got a link to the Silver
- 2:09Academy, one of his other sub stacks in the description of
- 2:12this in every video. But here we go, guys.
- 2:14Rumors, rumors. I don't know.
- 2:17Is this a rumor We're going to find out of a gold standard
- 2:22under, quote, the Donald Trump's appointment to the Fed?
- 2:26Judy Lynn Shelton floats it out there on social media.
- 2:31Gold revalued to 20. I told you it wasn't just me.
- 2:35I got a lot of grief yesterday. You should see the hate mail and
- 2:38get sent in to me. But here it is.
- 2:41Gold revalued at $20,000 per oz is one way to solve the US debt
- 2:47crisis. Let's dig into this.
- 2:48It gets more interesting, Judy. Judy Lynn Shelton is an American
- 2:54economic advisor to former President Donald Trump.
- 2:58She's known for her advocacy, for a return to the gold
- 3:03standard, and for her criticisms of the Federal Reserve.
- 3:07Hey, I think we like her, right? Donald Trump announced he would
- 3:12nominate Shelton to the Fed. Judy Shelton's social media post
- 3:17yesterday is giant news that legacy media will ignore.
- 3:22So the mainstream media is going to ignore this guy's, but it's
- 3:25major news and at the right time of the writing of this article
- 3:29had about 245 thousand 45,000 views.
- 3:34I checked right before I came on and it's approaching 300,000
- 3:39views at this point. But let's look at what she said.
- 3:42Let's go down here first. I don't know if I can, I can't.
- 3:45Well, I'm here, I can go into that.
- 3:47So risk take said that in 1971 Nixon abolished the gold
- 3:52standard 2024 will we introduce it question mark and Judy
- 3:59Shelton, remember, this is Donald Trump's person that he
- 4:04wants to see in the Fed said thinking something like that,
- 4:09but that sink in. But in 2026, stay tuned.
- 4:15Very, very interesting. But there's more.
- 4:18Let's see what else they have to say down here.
- 4:22And then the junior, junior mining investor threw in and
- 4:26price it somewhere above 20 K per oz.
- 4:29And you solve the debt crisis as well.
- 4:32Now we've got a NASDAQ report. The NASDAQ reports on rumors of
- 4:38a gold standard under Trump. Rumors that the gold standard
- 4:42could be reinstated during Trump's presidency centered
- 4:46largely on positive comments he made about the idea.
- 4:50Notably, he suggested that it would be wonderful to bring back
- 4:54the gold standard, and a number of his advisors were of the same
- 4:58mind. Judy Shelton, John Allison and
- 5:01others support the concept. Now, I don't know if this NASDAQ
- 5:05comment was from when he was president 'cause I know this
- 5:08came up, or if this is actually very recent news as well.
- 5:11But guys, the bottom line here is they're talking about the
- 5:15gold standard. We talked about this yesterday.
- 5:18We've never, we got, we've never gone off the gold standard.
- 5:20I talked with Rafi Farber this morning and we touched on this
- 5:24subject. You can watch the interview that
- 5:25I did with him and he'll be out Tuesday or Wednesday.
- 5:28Like did did the world really ever go off the gold standard,
- 5:32the silver standard? They're kind of like always
- 5:35there. I like to use the analogy,
- 5:37they're like a bear that's been hibernating since 1971, right?
- 5:42We're starting to wake up And when they wake up, we could be
- 5:46in for massive. I mean, what do you think when
- 5:49you hear this? The gold standard while we're up
- 5:52here, let's just go look. We took we took a look at this
- 5:55yesterday, but this comes from Matt Pipenberg was an article on
- 5:58zero hedge. Look at this chart.
- 6:01OK, start up here, 1971. All right, gold $35.
- 6:08Nixon takes us off the gold standard.
- 6:10So from 71 to 2024, gold down. I'm sorry, the dollar down 98.5%
- 6:21night since 1971. So we've got a gold price today.
- 6:25They say 2300. I just checked, it's still
- 6:2824802490 nonetheless. OK, that's what's happened.
- 6:33If we go down a further, go over here to the red box, that's the
- 6:37future. All right, go down a further 90
- 6:41to 99%. We already went down 99% during
- 6:45the post Nixon, post gold standard era when we were we had
- 6:50everything working in our favor. We still managed to destroy
- 6:5398.5% of the value of the dollar against gold.
- 6:57Look at what's happening now. Look at what's going on in the
- 7:00world. Look at the political situation
- 7:02in the United States. Look at the social situation.
- 7:04What do you think when you look at that?
- 7:06Look at the fiscal situation in the United States.
- 7:09Look at the monetary situation and look at what's going on in
- 7:12the world. You're going to tell me that
- 7:14this red box isn't going to be as dramatic as that blue box.
- 7:18I think I like what they say between between 2025 and 2030,
- 7:25right? Because I've heard Lynette Zhang
- 7:26say this. Things are happening more
- 7:29quickly now. Everything has escalated.
- 7:32That's the E word ever. When you were a kid, go to the
- 7:35mall with your mommy and ride the escalator, right?
- 7:38Going up and up and up. Things are getting more and more
- 7:41extreme. Things are happening on a larger
- 7:44scale and they're happening more frequently.
- 7:48That makes this red box occur in a much shorter time frame than
- 7:52this blue box occurred. And if that occurs, oh, look
- 7:55where we go. Buttercup, are you sitting down?
- 7:59We go to 20,000 or even as high as 200,000 per oz in gold.
- 8:05What will that do for silver? Rafi and I were talking this
- 8:09morning. Rafi has a great interview or a
- 8:12great video he put out on Arcadia Economics on Friday
- 8:16talking about the gold, the silver ratio that even in 1980.
- 8:20And I'm going to talk to you about something that happened in
- 8:221980. This is going to blow your mind.
- 8:25Compare a comparison with silver and it's going to make you feel
- 8:29even more warm and fuzzy, OK, about silver.
- 8:33We're going to get to that toward the end of this video.
- 8:36But, but let's remember, if we're at $20,000 gold, we'll be
- 8:41conservative, OK? In 1980, the gold, the silver
- 8:45ratio got to 20. OK, if it gets to 20 again, that
- 8:50makes $1000 gold. How does that make you?
- 8:54I'm sorry, $1000 silver, $20,000 gold.
- 8:58I'm all mixed up today. Sorry.
- 8:59I was sitting out in the sun for three hours watching my daughter
- 9:02Evelyn play softball. So my brain's a little more
- 9:05fried than average. That's where we're heading,
- 9:08right? That is where we are heading.
- 9:11What's going to drive the malignant 7?
- 9:13Have you heard of them? I get, I get so sick.
- 9:18I mean, the stock market, let me just say this, the general stock
- 9:21market outside of a few sectors, including the precious metal
- 9:27mining sector, but the general stock market is a bubble, a big
- 9:31bubble. Can you say bubble bubble smile
- 9:34when you say it? OK.
- 9:36And are are are you? I mean the malignant, I'm sorry,
- 9:38the magnificent 7. All right, what's going to drive
- 9:41big money into the silver and gold sector?
- 9:44Remember, right, extras pyramid, silver and gold are the base of
- 9:47everything. When money starts falling out of
- 9:49the stock market, falling out of the OK, that's going to be a big
- 9:52thing. All right, Money leaving the
- 9:54stock market because corporate profits are being squeezed
- 9:58because interest rates are higher.
- 10:00The malignant, they're starting to call it the malignant 7,
- 10:04right? Whatever they are.
- 10:05Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Amazon, I forget.
- 10:09There's a few more. People are waking up that these
- 10:12companies are just crazy overvalued.
- 10:15Everybody said, oh, it's tech. Tech's the future.
- 10:18Tech. Mama, I'm gonna tell you
- 10:20something. There's gonna be a day.
- 10:22OK? Basement dwellers, right?
- 10:24I want you to smile with me. Smile because there's going to
- 10:29be a day when they're going to be saying, oh, gold, oh silver.
- 10:33You're right. When all the ducks are quacking,
- 10:36that's when we're going to be converting some of our gold and
- 10:39silver into other real assets because the mass crowd is going
- 10:43to join us. The bond market, the bond
- 10:45market's toast. I'm sorry, right?
- 10:48Anybody who's buying 20 year or 30 year US bonds, really.
- 10:54I mean, do you have a brain? I could be wrong.
- 10:58Yes, you have a brain. I didn't.
- 10:59If you bought a 20 year bond at three 4%, they're still low
- 11:03cause the yield curves. In fact, it makes no sense.
- 11:07Money is coming out of the stock market.
- 11:09Money is gonna come out further out of the bond market.
- 11:12And here's the beauty, right? Silver and gold down at the
- 11:16bottom. The base of everything, the
- 11:18market cap, the total value. What, 15 trillion total value.
- 11:24Oh, we got 100 thumbs up. Thank you, Susie.
- 11:26I will ring the dinger here in a second.
- 11:29But 15 trillion. Hey, Snake Pie.
- 11:31Thank you. Just smile.
- 11:33That's right. I need to smile more.
- 11:35Look, I got to be honest with you guys.
- 11:37I need to smile more. So I got this sticker from my
- 11:40local McDonald's. I think they're meant for the
- 11:43kids, but I'm going to stick it here on my new microphone so I
- 11:46remember to smile more because, you know, smiles are contagious
- 11:50nonetheless. Where was I?
- 11:51Oh, man, I forgot. Oh, 15 trillion is the total
- 11:55market cap of all the gold in the world, period.
- 12:00OK, 1.5 trillion is the total market cap of all the silver in
- 12:05the world. So that little bit, what is that
- 12:0816 trillion has what, 300 trillion in world debt?
- 12:13Who knows how much paper money? Who knows how much derivatives
- 12:16or what 3 quadrillion? Like if 1%, 1% of the world's of
- 12:23the money that's supposedly exists in the three quadrillion
- 12:28of derivatives, 1% would be $30 trillion.
- 12:32If that flowed into silver and gold, that would like triple the
- 12:36amount of money alone. OK.
- 12:38Not to mention everybody waking up, not to mention everything
- 12:41else. Real estate, right?
- 12:43Are you gonna buy? You wanna buy a house right now?
- 12:46Good luck, right? Good luck getting a mortgage if
- 12:49you want to pay 8%, seven percent the the real estate
- 12:53market and residential and commercial both more money leave
- 12:59people are it's going to be it's people.
- 13:03Here's what's going to happen. People are going to start
- 13:05looking again. Stock market doesn't look too
- 13:07good bond market. Well, why would I want to buy a
- 13:11bond when inflation, if inflation's going to be higher
- 13:14than the rate that I get on the bond?
- 13:16Do I want to buy a house? Well, the same house I could
- 13:19have bought three years ago for 300,000 now cost 500 or 600 or
- 13:23800,000. Wanna buy some commercial real
- 13:26estate? People are itching to go back
- 13:28into the office, aren't they? I mean, come on, where's all
- 13:31this money gonna go? I'll tell you where.
- 13:34Things like oil, farmland. Oh, yes, and silver and gold.
- 13:40And it will be a beautiful, beautiful day.
- 13:43But wait, there's more. Because when we have loss and
- 13:45confidence in the Fed, that's already happening.
- 13:49People are waking up, right? When people lose, Cobb, where'd
- 13:52it go? Where'd it go?
- 13:54You know, Yeah. I wish this wasn't the case.
- 13:57I wish this wasn't just nothing but paper, right?
- 14:00I wish it was still backed by gold or silver.
- 14:03But the reality is when people wake up and it's going to be
- 14:06inflation, inflation is the godfather, right?
- 14:10The of, of, of the silver and gold market.
- 14:13When people wake up, when an inflation eats away more and
- 14:17more, right at the value of that paper money and then all the
- 14:21sheeple, you're not a sheeple. You're not.
- 14:23No, no. You're here in the basement.
- 14:24You're a basement dweller. Trust me.
- 14:27I even get the analytics from Google.
- 14:30You know that. And they've told me that, like
- 14:32my audience, they'll pay advertisers those ads they force
- 14:37you to watch, OK. And they make me watch them,
- 14:39too, even on my own show, right? Advertisers are willing to pay
- 14:43big money to advertise like higher than almost any other.
- 14:47It's called CPM rate or something like that, because the
- 14:51people that view this are smarter basically had more
- 14:56money, I guess as well, but smarter.
- 14:59I forgot how good how they said it, but it's like it's a, it's
- 15:01a, it's in kind of you're, you're in a very elite crowd.
- 15:04So you're not, you know, no, you're a basement dweller.
- 15:07But when the sheep will wake up, when the sheep will finally
- 15:10figure out like, you know, keeping my money in the banks,
- 15:14all those different things, the dollars losing value, the real
- 15:18estate doesn't look good. The stock market stinks.
- 15:22Bonds. Well, yeah.
- 15:24And. And you know what about gold and
- 15:27silver? I think I remember my great
- 15:28grandpa talking about that. And some of my neighbors who
- 15:32might just happen to be basement dwellers, that's when we're
- 15:35gonna see a massive amount of money coming into the precious
- 15:39metal sector. Let's talk about the financial
- 15:41services industry and how they trick you, right?
- 15:44They trick. They're tricky, right?
- 15:46The mainstream financial services industry, I'm not a
- 15:50huge fan. To each their own.
- 15:52I'm not offering financial advice, but I will offer
- 15:55financial advice today. It's a special day.
- 16:00OK, we'll get to that financial advice in just one second.
- 16:04Right now, we want to say thank you to our channel sponsor,
- 16:07Pinbex Pi MB EX. Let's run out there real quick.
- 16:11Let's see if we get a quote on silver and gold.
- 16:14Thanks again, Snakebite for that super, super, super chat and all
- 16:18your support. Snakebite Gold, they're saying
- 16:21here, let me update this. OK, Gold 2392, I don't think
- 16:27it's trading yet. Silver 2870, if you're looking
- 16:30to buy gold, silver, platinum group metals, go check out
- 16:34Pinbex. Look, I learned about the
- 16:36company from you, from viewers, like three or four of you.
- 16:41This was a year and a half ago, said Ron.
- 16:44Check out Pinbex. They've got great prices.
- 16:46And I thought, well, yeah, but I at that point, honestly, I'd
- 16:49never heard of them. So I did my research.
- 16:51I read reviews, I made an order with them.
- 16:55I discovered what everybody told me that yes, their prices when I
- 16:59what I was shopping for by far were the best.
- 17:02But the customer service was awesome.
- 17:04And I know I'm getting yelled at by Susie here.
- 17:06Hold on a second. Let me finish with Pendex.
- 17:10Customer service was great, the packaging was great.
- 17:13I got more metal for my money. I'm not going to tell you what
- 17:16to do, but I would just highly recommend that if you're out
- 17:19shopping for metals, consider. I talked to a guy earlier today
- 17:23who said he told one of his friends about Pinbec's and how
- 17:26happy he was that he bought a big amount.
- 17:30I'll leave it at that. And that he was thrilled with
- 17:32Pinbec's. You'll find, I believe, what I
- 17:37found that with Pendex, you get great everything.
- 17:40And on top of it all, you get more metal for your money.
- 17:44Let's see what Susie's yelling at me about.
- 17:45Hold on one second here, guys. 100.
- 17:49OK, OK. Jake 2000.
- 17:52I have two other super chats. Sorry, guys, I can't see all
- 17:55these super chats. I appreciate the Super chats.
- 17:58I do, and thank you. OK, wait.
- 18:02Is there a way to do that? Hold on here.
- 18:05Oh, yeah. Here we go.
- 18:06Ryan McAdams. Thank you.
- 18:09Thank you, Ryan. There's our friend Ryan.
- 18:11Take a look at him. And Craig Edmonds.
- 18:12Mr. Craig, our friend out on the West Coast, Northwest, the great
- 18:17Pacific Northwest. We're gonna do the pocket pinger
- 18:20you guys had. No, this this thing is cool.
- 18:22Wow. Somebody sent it to me, and it's
- 18:25really an awesome tool. And I have an app on my phone.
- 18:29All the different coins make a slightly different noise.
- 18:32This is an American. Oh boy, here I go again.
- 18:35Me and me and my show and tell. I just love, I'm sorry, I love
- 18:40American. So I love these things and I
- 18:43just lately got to buy them because the premiums were were
- 18:46down. Anyway, they all make a
- 18:48different noise. I'm going to ring this for you,
- 18:51see if you can tell, and I'm going to put Craig up and then
- 18:55we're going to dig in. We got more to talk about, but
- 18:59here we go. Comes with a little stick.
- 19:02It's called the stack stick and 13456 I'm smiling 78910 all
- 19:13right, that's ten rings of the bell for 100 thumbs up.
- 19:16Thank you guys, I appreciate it. OK, oh free for the advice,
- 19:22financial advice. Yes, yes.
- 19:24OK, here we go. Here we go.
- 19:27Free financial advice, big trick by financial service industry.
- 19:31And I wrote this out for you. That's how important this is.
- 19:34It's the big double D. Can you say double D and smile
- 19:38when you say it? Everyone talks about
- 19:41diversification. What do you what?
- 19:43What do they all say? You need to diversify.
- 19:46You need to diversify. Oh, you know, give us all your
- 19:49money. OK, I'm from the mainstream
- 19:52financial services industry. We want all give me your money
- 19:55and I'm going to put you in all these different mutual funds and
- 19:57we're going to diversify, OK, be diversified, which I won't argue
- 20:02against them being a good thing. I'm not diversified.
- 20:05I'm all precious metal mining stocks, but that's just my my
- 20:09situation. I would say that they're wrong,
- 20:14OK, it's a double D diversification, OK is not the
- 20:18most important thing. The most important thing is to
- 20:22get rid of debt. Get rid of your debt first, OK,
- 20:27and then? You can invest and diversify.
- 20:30That's just my opinion. That's just my financial advice.
- 20:33I'm not saying that I'm right necessarily, but I do understand
- 20:39money from having studied it at a top tier university in
- 20:42accounting. They want your, they, they don't
- 20:45want you to pay off your. This is why debt, paying off
- 20:48debt's so important 'cause if you got a debt that you're
- 20:51paying, I got 200 thumbs up. We're gonna ring the cowbell in
- 20:54just one second. Wow, you guys, we got 700 people
- 20:57on a Sunday. This is why it's so important in
- 21:00my opinion, to pay off debt first, OK?
- 21:02Because if you've got $100,000 loan that you're paying 7% on or
- 21:09100,000 in credit cards that you're paying 25% on, right?
- 21:12You know for sure if it's 7% that you're losing 7 grand a
- 21:18year, you know for sure if it's credit cards 100,000 and 25%
- 21:23that you're losing 25 K per year.
- 21:27So if you pay that off first, that's an automatic win, baby,
- 21:31an automatic win. And you could say, well, I could
- 21:34invest that money and do better. OK, If you've got 100,000 in the
- 21:38stock market and 100,000 in debt, OK, you got to make more
- 21:43than 7% in the market for it to, for you to get ahead.
- 21:48OK, but you could lose that, that stock.
- 21:52I could go down by 50%. So then now you've only got 50
- 21:56grand in the market. You still owe the 100 and you're
- 21:59still paying the interest. So I don't care what the
- 22:01financial services industry says, pay off your debts first.
- 22:05That's my opinion. Now some debt like mortgage debt
- 22:09at two or three percent, I can see a bit of an argument.
- 22:12But overall, they're always saying, Oh, no, you need to
- 22:15diversify. No, the big D word they need to
- 22:18put first is debt. OK.
- 22:20To me, it's black and white diversification.
- 22:24It's and the other thing is diversification's imperfect art.
- 22:28OK, Nobody knows how to perfectly diversify.
- 22:31I can tell you paying off debt is perfect.
- 22:34It eliminates that expense, that additional expense, and you will
- 22:38come out ahead. What about 1980?
- 22:41This is crazy. When I read this, this is
- 22:44absolutely, absolutely nuts. OK, It has to do with silver.
- 22:50Before we do that, I'm going to butter you up and say thank you
- 22:53for being here. When you're in the basement,
- 22:56we're going to talk about silver and gold.
- 22:58We're going to talk about where things are going.
- 23:00We're going to dig a little deeper.
- 23:02And I appreciate you being here. You are the most important part
- 23:05of Ron's basement. Thank you for the thumbs up.
- 23:08That helps get the word out to more people.
- 23:11OK, And you can always subscribe.
- 23:13It's free. And thanks again for all the
- 23:15Super chats. All right, we, we appreciate it.
- 23:181980 sit down. Make sure you hold on to your
- 23:23socks or they're going to get knocked off.
- 23:25OK, Buttercup, in 1980, I was 10 years old.
- 23:33What was I doing in 1980? I tell you what I was doing in
- 23:351980, I was playing with this right, the silver Stomper.
- 23:40Hold on, all right? Anyway, in 1980, the price of
- 23:51silver, they say was $40.00 an ounce.
- 23:53We know it hit as high as 50. All right, none the less, this
- 23:57is nuts. You know what the Dow Jones
- 24:01Industrial Average was in 1980? It was 1000.
- 24:05So think about this. 1980 you had $40.50 dollar silver.
- 24:11The Dow Jones Industrial average was at 1000.
- 24:15Today, even though we've had a great, great run in the silver
- 24:22price. Absolutely, right.
- 24:23But we're still, we're at what, $2829 per hour Silver's lower
- 24:28today than it was in 1980. I know you know that, but think
- 24:32about this. This is the part where you want
- 24:34to hold on to your socks. The Dow has gone from 1000 in
- 24:391980 to 38,000. I had to look it up.
- 24:43I couldn't believe it. I was like, this can't be true.
- 24:46It is true. OK, silver, I mean, silver is
- 24:52lower now than it was in 1980, and the Dow Jones industrial
- 24:57average is 38 times higher. And you're going to tell me that
- 25:00silver's not the most undervalued asset on the face of
- 25:05the Earth? Even the organization called the
- 25:09Silver Institute, which is coming under a little bit of
- 25:12criticism lately, even with their numbers showing the supply
- 25:16demand dynamics. Silver is, is, is.
- 25:20There's nothing like it on the planet.
- 25:23There's nothing like it. And you're gonna tell me, right,
- 25:27that, that the price today is lower than it was in 1980, but
- 25:32the Dow is 38 times higher. And you're gonna tell me.
- 25:36You're gonna tell me #1 silver's not undervalued.
- 25:40And that the general stock market, think about it.
- 25:43There's 38 times more money in the Dow Jones OK today as
- 25:49opposed to 1980. And in 1980, we had silver that
- 25:53was not twice as high as it is today, but pretty darn near
- 25:57close, OK. I think it's safe to say,
- 25:59though, that in 1980 you would have been better off putting
- 26:03your money into the Dow. But who knows, right?
- 26:05Hindsight's 2020 vision. Do you think the next 45 years
- 26:10are gonna present the same thing?
- 26:12I don't. I don't.
- 26:13I absolutely don't. Because we got big, big
- 26:17problems. We've got an inflation problem
- 26:20in this country right now. And nothing is gonna impact the
- 26:25price of silver and gold #1 like inflation #2 geopolitical
- 26:30turmoil, All right? We're gonna get a crazy story
- 26:34about inflation, about inflation.
- 26:36All right? It it never ceases to amaze me
- 26:43what is going on out there right now.
- 26:44But before we get to inflation, don't forget geopolitics.
- 26:49All right, war. We're not going to beat that
- 26:52drum. But that's the other major key
- 26:55that will support the silver price and gold price as we move
- 26:58forward. OK, hold on.
- 27:01Jake just sent something to me. Oh, hey, Chris from Arcadia
- 27:05Economics is here. You guys all know Chris, Chris
- 27:08Marcus from Arcadia Economics. Please say welcome to him.
- 27:13A guy that really taught me a lot about silver in my early
- 27:18years. So and a great guy and I
- 27:20consider him a great friend as well.
- 27:22You guys all know Arcadia Economics.
- 27:24If by chance you don't go check him out, right?
- 27:26Top notch. A good friend of Jake from
- 27:28Jake's Custom parts as well. But let's go to this article
- 27:32about we're gonna, we're gonna talk about more proof of
- 27:36inflation and where'd it go? Is this it?
- 27:41Here it is. This comes from Zero Hedge 7,
- 27:47and I don't curse on this show, but $7.00 social media
- 27:52influencer rages after paying $7.00 for an apple at Whole
- 27:57Foods. All right, I'll just read a
- 27:59couple of these times. I hate to see the millennials
- 28:02get so mad, but here it says we're being told that Bidenomics
- 28:05is working and that inflation's under control.
- 28:08Yet when we see articles about shoppers in America paying $7.00
- 28:13for an apple, it's hard to make peace with the narrative the
- 28:17current administration is trying to convince the populace of,
- 28:21right, like everything's good. Larry Summers.
- 28:24Larry Summers, he was the 71st Treasury Secretary of the United
- 28:29States just a few weeks ago came out and said that the real
- 28:33inflation rate, I think it was, what, 2022?
- 28:37The real inflation rate was like 18 or 19%.
- 28:41And everybody knows. And now they're trying to tell
- 28:43us, oh, inflation, we've got it. The Fed's starting to win,
- 28:46right? Well, yeah.
- 28:48Well, maybe, maybe in in your cookbook numbers you can tell us
- 28:52we have 3 or 4% inflation, but that's after we took a massive,
- 28:59massive hit in 2022. All right.
- 29:04That was the case last week when a Boston based influencer took
- 29:07the TikTok to claim that she paid $7.00 for an apple and only
- 29:12one apple at Whole Foods, according to a report by the New
- 29:17York Post. All right guys, we're going to
- 29:19wrap it up here for Sunday night.
- 29:21It's going to be interesting to see what goes on this week in
- 29:25the silver and gold markets. You know, I'm going to be here
- 29:28for you each and every day. That's the plan.
- 29:31In the meantime, take care of yourself.
- 29:33Be nice to yourself first. That'll help you be nice to
- 29:36other people. Thank you for being here.
- 29:38I'll see you soon.
