- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Hey everybody,
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: it's Catherine Crestani with another episode of Willow Healing Matters
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: and today I am joined by Natasha Joy
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Price so she has studied energy healing for 23 years and is passionate about getting
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: the message out there that we are not cleaning and clearing our energy daily
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: then we are missing a piece of the jigsaw which is our overall holistic health i
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: so agree with this she has written two books freedom of the soul and the red magnus
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: and is the host of the balm to the soul podcast so a big welcome to the show natasha
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Thank you for having me.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: It's lovely to meet you.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: I love that you are passionate about telling people to look after their energy
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: because I am a big advocate for spiritual hygiene and I feel it's not talked
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: about enough.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: So how did you get into energy healing?
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: I know you've been doing it for a long time, but also what then led you to this path of
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: really realizing that I feel I know the answer
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: but you know realizing why people need to be in charge of their energy well first
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: of all I got into it because I just had my third child I had terrible swollen ankles
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: and somebody said to me go and have a Reiki never heard the word up to
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: that point didn't know anything about it I just lived in my little life
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: with my three kids and my husband and
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: I just wasn't into spirituality or anything like that.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Went along, had a very bizarre experience that could have frightened me, but it didn't.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: It just made me go, wow.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: The walls of my little life fell down because I was like,
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: how have I got to this age and not known that this existed?
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: What is it?
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Where does it come from?
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: What can we do with it?
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: How do we utilize this?
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: You know, etc.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: And that set me off really on my learning, everything I could learn.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: I started with being Reiki,
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: becoming a Reiki master because that's how I sort of became aware of things,
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: other things existed.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: And it's just gone from there, really.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: And along the way,
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: I've realized that, well,
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: I've begun to think that energy healing and looking after our energy is
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: the missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle that is our overall holistic health.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: It's so important.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: And, you know, when people are ill or...
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: You know, they go to a doctor, traditional doctor, which I fully advocate, you know, do that.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: But they'll talk about, you know, stress levels and your diet and, you know, all other things.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: But energy gets missed off the list.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: What's happening in your energy?
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: When you started feeling ill, what was going through your life?
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Emotional stuff were you having to deal with?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: And so, yeah,
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: I've come to realise that if we're not sort of cleaning
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: and clearing our energy daily,
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: if we're not checking in,
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: just like we would clean our teeth and have a shower,
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: if we're not looking at our energy,
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: then we're really missing, we're missing something.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: And I think it's just so important for people physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: I so agree and also if you don't have that baseline and clear your energy
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: and know what it feels like when you step out of alignment or
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: when your energy is compromised or something's not right you don't have
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: that contrast so you can't pick up on it quicker and then you do end up in
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: that dis-ease happening in your body as well.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Absolutely yeah you haven't got that benchmark your normal
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: is actually, you know, what you've got used to.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: So changing that becomes your abnormal, if you like.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: And sometimes it can take a little while to feel the difference and to see
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: the difference that it's making.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: But, you know,
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: it's so important to make that shift and start having a look at what you're holding
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: in your energy field.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: You know,
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: what you're holding that is stopping your energy from flowing and what's stagnating
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: and, you know, making you feel off, dis-ease, as you say.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Have you found from working with people and starting to focus on this more
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: that there are certain signs that kind of pop up or like kind of flags for people
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: to go, oh, maybe something's not right in my energy field?
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Not really, to be honest.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: So I'll give you an example for me.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I have had bad hips or a bad hip.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: A bad, I call it bad.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Energy is neither good nor bad, but we do call these things bad.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: That was causing me, it would wake me up at night.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: It was aching and being who I am,
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: what I've learned along the way,
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: I did a lot of work around it and I realized there was quite a lot of emotion there
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: that I was holding in my hips and so I cleared that.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: There was nothing physically wrong apart from having three kids
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: and that's what I put it down to.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: You know, everything stretches a lot.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: so I put it down to that and it went away after I'd done some work on it myself and
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: then it came back again so I went to see an intuitive healer who is a friend of mine
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: and she said she picked up that I was holding shock
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: in my hip from when I was two or three and I said oh I can't think of anything
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: and she started talking about what she was getting and I immediately had
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: a vivid memory of my mother coming back from a funeral and being very very upset and
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: for a little two-year-old that's upsetting you know that mum's upset and as soon
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: as she cleared that and as soon as I'd made that connection that that
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: I've had no pain since I've had nothing which is quite extraordinary that I've held
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: on to that for all those years so it doesn't really there's no one thing
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: but people can come and just say I've tried everything you know I've had
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: I've had a diagnosis I've got this I've tried everything and sort
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: of energy is way down the list and but they come along and we often find
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: that there is an emotional state there or they're holding on to something
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: from childhood or we do what we call digging and we have a chat about it and we we
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: you know that and often I'm not saying that always symptoms will disappear
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: or you know but often there's a shift there's a change and I think it's becoming
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: I'm not immediately making that connection and thinking, why have I got a sore hip?
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: But it was
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Definitely eye-opening for me that it just had no pain at all afterwards.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: And as I drove away, I was thinking, how does my hip feel?
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: How does my hip feel?
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: And the only word I could put to it was, it feels lighter.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: That's the only thing I could say,
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: more expansive,
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: more, yeah, that was the only sort of wording that I could put to it.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: So there's not always one thing.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: There could be a myriad of things that come up for people,
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: but often when we dig down, there's an emotion there.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah and I 100% agree you know because when you start to unpack especially things
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: that don't make sense you know like you haven't twisted your ankle you haven't you
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: know you haven't had an incident and all of a sudden this pain shows up in saying
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: that I am also a believer that if you do do something like
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: that like twist your ankle it's like oof
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: What does the ankle mean?
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: What is the ankle telling me?
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Or, you know, what's going on there?
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: Because often I don't believe in accidents or coincidences.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: I so believe in synchronicities, right?
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: And I think
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: I think you're right.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: And I think we ought to have more of a conversation with our body.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: Our body throws up rashes and hives and whatever to get our attention.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: You know, there's something you need to tweak here.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: I'm not happy.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Or there's something I'm, you know, need to get rid of.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: You need to help me with this.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: It is like a conversation with your body.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: It is and I feel a lot of times you know I teach people about looking for signs
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: and symbols but I actually say your body often gives you the biggest signs
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: of what's not aligned in your life you know and it's not just coming
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: from my experience it's from working with all my clients as well
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: that they'll just know you know like oh my goodness my foot's gone again I was like
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: okay well why aren't you stepping forward in life
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, I did a lot of work like that on my hips as well when it was,
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: you know, I was thinking, where am I not moving forward?
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: you know so I get that yeah and it's interesting too that our body does hold a score
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: and like you said there was emotion trapped in there from
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: when you were two I still remember when I met my naturopath
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: because he does neuromotional technique and he was doing all this testing
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: on me like kinesthesiology testing he goes all right what happened
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: when you were five and you were frustrated at your dad I was like how do you know
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: that but it was but it was all in my body this is the thing it's all in there
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: Exactly and and we have to I think we have to start listening more
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: and that's what you know energy work is all about we need to you know that has
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: to become more widespread so that people start looking at it as well definitely
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: and I and I feel too it's I've had a lot of clients recently where I've done this
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: and I've done this and nothing else has worked so then they turn
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: to energy here you know energy work
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: whereas I'm like oh you could have just come here first and it would have solved
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: so much
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: I know, but it's always the last thing on the list, isn't it?
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: Or not even on the list at all.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: And it's somebody else who says to them, go and see so-and-so.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: And then they have an amazing result.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: So...
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: But I think it's just a complete change of thinking, isn't it?
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: It's a complete,
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: actually your body knows exactly what it's doing and it can rebalance
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: and it can have that conversation with you.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: It's trying to help you and itself to survive and thrive.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: And so we need to start listening to ourselves, our bodies more.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: 100% I think you just said that the hook for the episode we need to listen
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: to our bodies more we do yes and Natasha I love that you've written two books
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: as well so Freedom from the Soul is that right and then
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: the Red Magnus how did they come about
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: So Freedom of the Soul it's like a proactive workbook in energy management
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: and it was sort of thing ideas and concepts that really helped me on my path as well
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: as meditations exercises things like that and it came about
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: because my middle daughter when she got to 17 her friend group all of them were at
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: suffering from mental health issues in some way like one
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: of them was self-harming one of them was waiting for a psych analysis which was just
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: and I find that terrifying and one of them came to tea one day and she discovered
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: that I did Reiki and that my daughter had been attuned to Reiki
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: and she really lit up and she was talking to me and asking all these questions
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: and I thought that was really the trigger and I thought I wrote it
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: to give teenagers sort of
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: Extra tools that there was extra things that out there that they could have a look
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: at, you know, find their own unique path.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: We're all completely unique.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: So my path is not going to be anybody else's path,
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: but the things that helped me might help them.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: And they might end off going off on a tangent and doing their own thing.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: So it's all the ideas,
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: concepts,
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: I encourage journaling, you know, encourage to find your own unique path, basically.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: So that was Freedom of the Soul.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: Then last year I wrote The Red Magus, which is a novel.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: It's a story,
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: but it's all centered around past life regression,
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: which is one of my favorite modalities that I work in.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: So the plot is all about past life regression
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: and this modern day central character meets a character from her past life and
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: who she starts to think is sending her a warning across time and space.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: And so I sort of weaved in,
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: I had great fun just weaving in all these spiritual ideas and crystals
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: and essential oils and, you know, all sorts of things thrown into the pot and
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: You know,
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: spirit animals and the neighbour that reads the tea leaves for her and,
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: you know, all sorts of things.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Things that I've found useful, experiences that I've had, I sort of weaved in there as well.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that was my first novel.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: I love this I love this because I wrote a spiritual book and then I wrote a novel
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: and the novel accidentally ended up being a reflection of all the clients I work
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: with now accidentally it's a very similar path Catherine it's like oh look at
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: the mirror here I love it I love it
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: But it's really fun to do it that way because it's a way to,
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: because my novel was based around how loneliness can lead you
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: to doing things you wouldn't normally do in a disconnected state
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: because you become disconnected from you,
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: and then how technology can replace your inner wisdom,
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: essentially, but not written in those terms.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: But sometimes writing them in a novel concept allows people to absorb it differently because
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: Rather than thinking, picking it up and going, this is a spiritual book, right?
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: So you got to put all those beautiful concepts in the Red Magus and then all of
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: a sudden, I've just learned about all these things or sparked curiosity.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: So maybe they will go about all those practices.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Storytelling.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, the ancients used storytelling to teach and I didn't want it to be a teaching.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: You know, that's not what I wanted it to be.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: I wanted, you know, people can pick it up and take it on whatever level they want to take it.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: Like you say, they can take it as pure fiction.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: And that's great.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: It's a good story.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: It's a good thriller.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: But other people might be tempted and think, oh, I might go and try that.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: And the way that I've described past life regression therapy is exactly how
- 15:45SPEAKER_01: a session would be prepared and set out.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: So that bit is true.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: And some of the experiences that Cassie, the character has, I've had.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: I hope that people...
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: You know,
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: some other people will take it on a different level and then perhaps begin to think
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: a bit more.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: I do a lot of soul work and it's like thinking that time is not linear,
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: that we can move around past, future,
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: between lives.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: We've had a hand in preparing our lives and the experiences that we have and
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: the concepts that we want, the lessons we want to learn.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: You know, this is a learning place.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: This is a learning planet and we're here to learn.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: And it's if you can understand those lessons.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: I keep thinking, I'm not going to learn the same lessons over and over again.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: I don't want to do this over and over again.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: So I'm going to get these lessons really quickly and then we're going to move on
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: to something else.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: That's my thought process.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: I love this,
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Natasha,
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: because I said my spiritual mentor and I were like,
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: as if you want to come back and do this all again.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: Let's get it done this time.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Different evolution.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yes, exactly.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: Different expansion next lifetime.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: But I love that you mentioned too that you can work with your,
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: I call them parallel lives because it's really interesting.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: I call them my parallel lives all the time.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: That's where I get knowledge from because they
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: they've been experiences that I haven't been in or they've got these skill sets
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: that I don't have and I was teaching another client to do this
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: and she's like really I can call in like my Atlantean self or my Egyptian self
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: or my Greek self I said yes and she's like so now she suddenly has this team
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: on her spirit team which is all versions of her from different lifetimes
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: and it's really cool when you start to tap into it
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that reminds me of what I discovered was that I had all my guides at
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: a certain point were my,
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: it's quite hard to explain,
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: but were past life incarnations of my friends in this lifetime.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: So there was a group of us and they were all...
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: And when you start to see those patterns,
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: you think,
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: you know, there's a whole thing going on here that we probably completely...
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: But a lot of the time we're just blind to it.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: We don't know.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: They're just our friends sort of thing.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: And we don't realize that there's actually,
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: there's a bigger, bigger, bigger picture going on here.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: But yes, I love that you can, you know, you can ask to go anywhere.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: You can go to,
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: your life where you reached your highest potential and draw that energy back to you.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: You know,
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: or I found that I had a thread through my soul energy of all these lives where I was
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: a healer.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: in some form or other, including being a psychic and being able to see things.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: But when you start tapping into that and you go and explore that,
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: you can pull that energy back with you.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Well, you do it automatically.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: It's not that you, you know, you just connect to it again.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: You connect to that remembering.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: And like you say, you can get all that additional knowledge.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: And when you start to think about that, how much knowledge have we already got?
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: It's already there in the files, in our subconscious.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: it's already there for us to explore and I just find
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: that incredibly exciting yeah agreed and I I actually love it because
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: and sometimes I'll be working at clients
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: and I don't always remember you know what came through and then I'll get
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: a memory put back and I'll be like oh thank you for the memory
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: and they're like what I said well I don't sit here
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: and carry around your stuff I've got to deal enough
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: with remembering all my own things like it's like
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: Yes exactly yeah but fascinating fascinating it is it's truly an amazing world
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: when you start to open yourself up for it and
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah The amount of connections and I know because I've been talking about this
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: a lot lately is that a lot of people talk about cutting cords but they forget
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: to talk about the good energetic cords because it is good to have
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: an energetic attachment with the warrior version of you when you need to be strong
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: or it's good to have an attachment with the herbalist version of you
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: When you need the herbal knowledge,
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: you know, and so there's always two sides to everything, right?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: And people forget to see that there is that duality of things as well
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: that we're currently living in.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: You can have positive chords, definitely, which you don't want to cut.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: You don't want to cut that energy and that knowledge and that connection, right?
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: of who you were.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: But negative ones that you can have negative ones as well.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: Definitely that drain you as well and sort of just keep you stuck in a certain way
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: to a certain situation that perhaps you need to deal with.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, 100%.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: It was funny, I had a client just yesterday and I said, I'm going to explain a process to you.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: you know about cord cutting I said because you need to cut it with your ex-husband
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: and she goes oh but I don't think about him and then she went into this big kind
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: of explanation about all these things he did to her I said well that still has power
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: over you you need to disconnect from that and put forgiveness in that
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: and she found that really hard she goes oh no no I don't think of him at all
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: and I'm like but you do like you you clearly just told me all these things
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: that it's connected with so sometimes people aren't ready to accept that as well
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: and no that's yeah this yeah so it's just this kind of weird caveat right
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: that it's like take what resonates and leave what doesn't
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and actually when I,
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: at the cord,
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: I've had an experience where the cord for my ex-husband was released,
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: but in a very, quite a violent way.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: It just sort of just severed.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: It actually physically hurt.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: It was like it was a plug was pulled out and there was a real physical pain.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: probably because it was so deeply embedded really but having said that as soon
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: as it went you don't even think about it anymore you just move on and you get on
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: with your life and it's a very different feeling but it was
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: an interesting experience to feel that because for other clients I understand
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: that it can actually be
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: you know it can be a bit traumatic when you've been so deeply involved with somebody
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: but once it's gone it's like it's like a fresh chapter it's like
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: a fresh air suddenly and yeah it's a very different feeling yeah yeah I've had that
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: for myself and I've also had clients who've had that physical pain or like it's like
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: a deep embedded hook and we've had to yeah like
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: you know imagine sense or feel unhooking it because it was so embedded
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: in whatever part of their body and yeah exactly when
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: when it shifted there was this moment where you have
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: to recalibrate right you just have to have that moment but to grieve to let go
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: because it has been part of you for so long it is like you're grieving a dream
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: or grieving this part of you that no longer exists anymore
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: You have to, but that's the same with any energy work.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: I always give the analogy,
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: like those snow globes and you shake them up and that's exactly what
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: a session is like.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: It's like,
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: your energy bubble,
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: we're in the middle of it and we go and then, yeah,
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: we are going to feel rough afterwards and it takes a little time for it all
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: to just settle down again, integrate what needs to go, goes and then
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: We can, you know, once that's happened, we can then look at what needs to be done next.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: A hundred percent.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: And I love that analogy.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: I might borrow that.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: My son used to get a snow globe every Christmas.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: So I had all these snow globes in the house and I was looking at one day
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: and I thought, yeah, that's actually perfect.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: And in a past life regression, for some reason, I saw joy as like gold ticker tape.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: just floating down he had one that was full
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: of gold glitter it was like yeah I just got all these analogies to work with I heard
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: the best I heard the best one the other day where it's um they described it as when
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: if you don't let things go you're still trying to play the old soundtrack for
- 24:31SPEAKER_01: the new movie and I really liked that as well yeah yeah yeah that is a good one and
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: so true yeah
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Exactly, exactly.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: And as we start to finish our time together,
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: Natasha,
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I ask the guests that come on the show,
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: if you could heal or change something in the world, what would it be?
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: I always go on,
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: and I don't know where this saying comes from,
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: but I always go on about being a compassion crusader,
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: just showing compassion and kindness wherever you go.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: And I don't know where that phrase came from.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: I'm not going to pretend I made it up.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: I'm sure I've borrowed it somewhere along the line.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: But yes, I go on about being.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: I think it's so important to just be kind and, you know, have that trail.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: And compassion for me is
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: a really amazing vibration.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: So if you can be compassionate,
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: you can be kind,
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: whatever you're doing,
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: whether it's corporate,
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: whether it's in your personal life or with your friends,
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: it's just to leave that sort of or have that energy is just, I think, so important.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: And we'd be in a very different place, wouldn't we?
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Such a different place, right?
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: And if people want to come and work with you,
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: Natasha,
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: find your books or come listen to your podcast, where's the best places they can go?
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: They can contact me via my website, which is Dandelion Therapies.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: They can also contact me through the podcast website as well.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: So
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: And I'll pop all those details in the show notes.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: And I actually love that you're called dandelion therapies because I love dandelions.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: I think they're such an understated, amazing herbal plant.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: And in the language of flowers,
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: it means to reveal what was once hidden,
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: which is absolutely perfect in past life regression and soul work.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: So yeah, it fitted.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: I love that see for me dandelions symbolize how everything can be amazing
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: because you can use the roots you can use the leaves you can use the flowers
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: but it also like has all the elements in it you know like because it's got
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: the grounding earth and then it's got the air and then because you know you blow
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: the seeds out yes anyway I just feel it's such a beautiful dynamic little plant
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: that we sometimes seem to call it weed and
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: that it is one of the most healing plants you can have or revealing what was hidden.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm with you there.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: We underestimate the down-do line.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: A hundred percent.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: And thank you again,
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: Natasha,
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: for being on the show and sharing your insights into energy healing and
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: the importance of that.
