A lifelong resident of Chincoteague Island, he spent his life cherishing family, ice cream, Yankees games, and road trips across America with his wife Mary — whom he married for 58 years. After a Navy stint and a career at General Foods, he retired to travel the country, always finding wonder in the everyday.
