Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Last night, in one of the most savage moments in state of the Union history, President Trump called on Congress to ban insider trading that's enabled members of Congress to get rich by shamelessly exploiting their office and he called out one name.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: one politician in particular in front of the entire nation.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: But this wasn't just a humiliation ritual for the Democrats.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: This was the opening salvo in a war against the most corrupt, most bipartisan, most deeply entrenched scandal in Washington.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Members of Congress,
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: getting rich off information that would put your me in prison and the data, it's absolutely staggering.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: Stick with me the very end of this video because you're not going to just get mad.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to show you how you can get even.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your patron professor, and I got to tell you of all the incredible moments.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: From last night's State of the Union speech, this is the one I want to dig into because this one hits every single American right in the wallet.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't already done so, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button and let's dive right in.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: Let's also ensure that members of Congress cannot corruptly profit from using insider information.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: They stood up for that, I can't believe it.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe it.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't Nancy Pelosi stand up if she's here.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Count it.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: Pass the stop insider trading act without delay.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she was there all right, and she looked smashed.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: She looked drunk out of her mind.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: So on top of having Al Greene ejected and making Ilhan Omar cry, after he's already had the hockey team bring down the house, Trump pivots to the economy.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: And he calls on Congress to pass the stop insider trading act, an act that would ban members of Congress.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: Their spouses and their dependent children,
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: from purchasing publicly traded stocks and it would require seven day public notice before they can sell any of their stocks and no more quiet dumps the night before earnings tank right no more oh my husband manages that portfolio that's been Nancy Pelosi's excuse for the last four decades all of that is finally over and done and here's what made this moment so absolutely perfect.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: The Democrats who had stood up and applauded for that insider trading ban, they slowly and awkwardly sat back down after Pelosi was singled out.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: So they stood for the principal, but they sat down to protect the person, right?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's everything you need to know about Democrat hypocrisy.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: Now,
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about why Trump singled out Nancy Pelosi, because the receipts on this woman are a mile long and they are damning.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start with the most recent scandal.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: On December 30th, 2025, Pelosi disclosed the sale of $5,000 shares a PayPal stock at roughly $59 to share.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: A transaction worth approximately $295,000.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds routine, right?
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: except that just days later pay power reported fourth quarter earnings that missed expectations across the board and they announced that their CEO is being replaced.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: The stock created, it dropped over 27% from where Pelosi sold, including a brutal 17% single session plunge on February 3rd.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: impeccable timing and it was hardly an isolated incident.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: Pelosi's household portfolio, which he attributes entirely to her husband Paul, has consistently outperform major market benchmarks in 2024.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Her portfolio rose approximately 71% while the S&P 500 gained just 25%.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: She bought Nvidia call options before semi-conductor legislation that she helped advance.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: She loaded up on text stocks before major regulatory decisions.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Her net worth now exceeds
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: two hundred and sixty nine million dollars making or one of the wealthiest members of Congress now before you get to upset at this guess what we can do this to Did you know that
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a way you can crack the code on insider trading, but you can do it legally and ethically.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks to this handy SEC loophole, courageous patriots like you and me can see exactly what big CEOs are buying up in real time.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: We can use that info to ride the wave of their moves, just like Pelosi does.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: completely above the board.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: So here's the fastest way for you to get this information.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Join me in my buddy, Ross Gibbons, this Thursday, February 26th at 3 p.m. Eastern for an absolutely free online training in all of this.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: Ross is a master.

- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: This Thursday, February 26 at 3 p.m. is going to be a total game changer.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now, it's fun to pick on Pelosi for sure, but I want to be very clear about something because intellectual honesty matters.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: This is not just a Democrat problem.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is a Washington problem.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this is not a Democrat problem, this is a Washington problem.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is a bipartisan epidemic of corruption that infects both parties.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: And if we're going to drain the swamp, we need to be honest about that.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let's look at the data.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: According to unusual whales annual report on congressional trading in 2024 alone, Democrat representatives recorded an average portfolio increase of approximately 31 percent, while Republican representatives saw an average portfolio increase of 26 percent, both outperforming
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: the S&P 500's 24.9% gain.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: Over 20 lawmakers from both parties recorded gains nearly double the market benchmark.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: The top performers included Representative David Rouser, a public and from North Carolina, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Democrat from Florida, Ron Wyden, the Democrat from Oregon,
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: Roger Williams, Republican from Texas, Morgan McGarby, Democrat from Kentucky, each seeing their portfolio, portfolio values, sure, over 100% 100% in a single year.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: That makes Warren Buffett look like an amateur.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's the bombshell from the National Bureau of Economic Research, Congressional
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so we're talking speakers, floor leaders, whips, caucus chairs, congressional leaders consistently outperform rank and file members by up to 47% a year.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: Before they became leaders, they underperform the market.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Act where they get the gable, suddenly their investment geniuses.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: How does that work?
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: The researchers found that leaders earn higher returns on companies that contribute to their campaigns, or are headquarters in their own states.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: and that their stock sales actually predict the number of hearings and regulatory actions over the following year.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: Let that sink in.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: They're not just trading on inside information.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: The research suggests that they may be shaping policy outcomes to enrich themselves.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: So again, this is not left versus right.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is Washington versus you.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Again, that's why
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: you don't want to just get mad.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: You want to get even.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure to click on that link below and join me in raw skills for free online training where you're going to learn exactly out of trade just like Pelosi, but we're going to do it legally and ethically.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: And speaking of you, maybe wondering, don't we already have laws against this?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, sort of,
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's called the Stock Act.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: It was signed in the law by President Obama back in 2012 after a major public outcry.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it requires members of Congress to disclose stock trades exceeding $1,000 within 30 to 45 days.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: And it technically makes it illegal for lawmakers to trade on non-public information.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds great on paper.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: Just one problem.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: The penalty for violating
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: is $200.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: A whole big whopping $200.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little slap on the rest.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: You could make millions on the single insider trade and the find is less than a speeding ticket.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: And it make matters even worse.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: You're ready for this.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: The enforcement on this.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's a big fat goose egg.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: Zero, not
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: ever been prosecuted for insider trading under the stock act, not one.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: In over 13 years, the logs is solely on paper, and absolutely nowhere else.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: So what is Trump's stop insider trading act actually do differently?
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: Well first it imposes a complete ban on members of Congress or spouses and their dependent children purchasing publicly traded stocks.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, not a disclosure requirement, not a reporting window, a complete and total ban.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: Sacken it requires a seven day public notice before any stock sale can go through.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: So no more quiet midnight dumps before earnings disasters and here's the beautiful part this thing has massive bipartisan support largely propelled by the massive populace revolt that's bringing down the corrupt political class ironically insider trading is one of those rare issues where the left in the right agree the corruption's got to end and again
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: And the American people are way ahead of Congress on this, a full 86% of Americans consistently support banning congressional insider trading, 86% when you can get 86% of Americans to agree that.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can't get 86% of Americans agree that water is wet, for having sex.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: So 86% agree on any political issue, you know the country is absolutely united on this.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's why Trump's moment last night was so devastating, and so politically brilliant.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: He took the single most popular reform in American politics.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: He put it on the biggest stage in American government.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: He got both parties on record applauding it and then turned it into a kill shot against the most notorious stock trader in congressional history.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: In one 30-second exchange, he exposed the hypocrisy.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: He pocketed the bipartisan win.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: and you reminded every American watching exactly who has been getting rich while they struggle to pay for groceries.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the bottom line, gag.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: For decades, members of Congress, Republicans, and Democrats.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: have been playing the stock market with a loaded deck.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: They sit in classified meetings, they shape legislation that moves entire industries, and then they go home and they trade on that information while the rest of us play by the rules.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: The penalty to 100 bucks and zero prosecutions in 13 years.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Last night, President Trump put every single one of them on notice.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: past the stop insider trading act or explain to the American people why you won't and Nancy Pelosi sitting there with her 269 million dollar net worth and her husband coincidentally brilliant stock picks she is the living breathing symbol of everything that's wrong with Washington and last night 80 million Americans saw it on live television.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: So what are you going to do about it?
