- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you again about our discord.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: But since we're doing this show here on our discord, we have some people in the chat.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: They've asked some questions.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: We will get to those in the second half of the show.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: In the first half of the show, I want to talk a little bit about Mike McDaniel and the narratives that surround him.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: Look.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: The National Media began the off-season talking about firing him, firing him.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: The guy went to the playoffs his first two years as head coach.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: They went eight and nine.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: The team performed poorly without its quarterback to a tongue of aloa.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: There were much better with him.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: The offense was much better with him.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: They come back this year and in the off-season, they have, you know, their off-season pretty
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: a pretty broad overhaul of the defense and pretty big changes on offense as well.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: Terry Kill gets injured, they signed Darren Waller, they trade, John Osmett, they trade jail of Ramsey, think whatever you want to think about jail of Ramsey and John Osmett, but those are two of their best players.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: They gained, make a Fitzpatrick back.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously, the the off season was a setback, everybody was spelling doom for this team.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: and doom for Mike McDaniel.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: And the drumbeat was pretty loud and if you go on YouTube and there's certain circles that you go to on YouTube and interesting people say, uh, why go to YouTube?
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's kind of my job like I do this for living.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: So I got to see what the competition and what everybody else that is competing for views, clicks and listens and downloads, what they're talking about.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: And the drumbeat was pretty steady about firing Mike McDaniel all
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, they got louder as the season started off, and they got off to a bad start.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: In the National sphere, you have people like Mike Florio, and you could just go to the NFL on NBC feed, and the Pro Football Talk feed on YouTube.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: Just check out how many videos he made this off season.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: The off season.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, nobody had played a game yet.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: the offseason about how quickly Mike McDaniel would be fired.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: He did several shows talking about how Mike McDaniel would be fired somewhere around midseason.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Then of course they started doing all of the victory laps after they started off on 3, right?
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: At one point, he said it was imminent.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now they're all back enough.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: What changed?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they want a couple of games.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: They want three out of four, two in a row.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Schedules looking up a little bit better.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe Mike McDaniel has, quote unquote, save this job according to these people.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think that how Chris Greer has managed to escape.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: in the national media for this long is beyond me.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: You have somebody else like Stephen A Smith as well, who, when they fired Chris Greer, tried to make it some type of like racial thing, forgetting that Mike McDaniel is half black.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: But that's Steven A Smith and I understand what everybody's going to say.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: Who gives a shit was Steven A Smith?
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody tends to give a shit what Steven A Smith says because the guy makes about twenty-fuck a million dollars a year.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: He has a massive audience.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: These people matter.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: Saying that who gives a shit about Mike Floyd.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Floyd is a partner with the league.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: He is on the leagues.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: Number one rated TV show every week football night in America.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's their lead insider.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: It goes deeper than that.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: He has a weekly spot on the Joe Rose show, which is the the morning show down here in Miami a weekly spot Mike for all your shows up and talks his shit about Mike McDaniel and to a tongue-aballow Like it's no secret.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't like either Right although he tends to like Mike McDaniel a little bit more
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: but just listen to his latest, you know, on Mike McDaniel and to a Tunga by Aloha.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: His latest quote is, you know what?
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they want enough games to save themselves this season and then we could do this whole disaster all over again next year.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: And if that's his attitude, he's essentially telling you, yeah, I'm going to start the drumbeat again next year.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because I don't know.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it moves downloads to hate on this team.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand why.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like most, most ESPN producers, in fact most producers anywhere, even the ones on the West Coast for Fox, for FS1, you know where they all come from, the Northeast, and people are professional, no they're not, they're fans just like you and me, the fans of the jets, the fans of the giants, the fans of the Patriots, fans of the Bills,
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a lot of evidence to suggest that it's it's not even like three to one or four to one it's more like twelve to one So yeah, they're gonna push those narratives and for whatever reason remember Steven and a Smith was one of the people I was pushing the narrative of Mike McDonald should be fired and this was when he was a rookie head coach and his team was winning a fuckload of games
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, pardon me if I don't take a little bit of delight and watch you Mike McDonald down and just shove it right up all these people's asses.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Every time I see that the list of first coach to be fired and the odds and I see that Mike McDonald was the favorite to be fired and I know the reason you become the favorite is because people bet you I took great delight in all these people losing all their money.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: like a lot of this has been unfair.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what has not been unfair are some of the narratives around like me, Daniel, about not winning quote unquote the big game.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's a that's a real thing.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: But it's really not about winning the big game.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's about winning in tough spots on the road.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: against good teams like he did it as a rookie did it back to back weeks once at home against the bills but did it on the road against the ravens and since then it's been scarce.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now he has a big win against the bills this year and he has plenty of opportunities to prove all those narratives wrong.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: First you got a TCB right you got TCB two weeks in a row, maybe it's going to be nice and cold it for that jet game, you know, they get a little, you know, it's like a dress rehearsal for what's to come, the last game of the season against New England right, not that they're the same, but you know, you got to play in a little bit of cold weather get acclimated a bit, but that game against the Steelers, like I'm eyeballing that game, that game looks like it's going to be important.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Miami wins the next two and the TCB they'll be six and seven going into Pittsburgh on a Monday night should be disgusting whether should be awful and man that's the kind of victory that that kind of makes a team makes a coach right
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think if he wins that game, I think he's safe because, first of all, if he wins that game, I believe he'll probably win two out of the last three and he's going to get himself a winning season.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: After what everybody has said about him and look, the expectations that the national media has placed on him, like that matters.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: He beats those expectations.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: What are you going to do?
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: But now you're going to fire him over what?
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: He beats the expectations too much.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: So the last thing that I'm going to talk about, I talked about it on the plot a little bit, and it's been beaten to death, and now it's Thursday, and they played the game on Sunday, so who cares?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: I had no problem whatsoever with him going forward at the end of the fourth quarter on Sunday.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, it's fourth and one.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Best case scenario, you score the touchdown, the game's pretty much over.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Worst case scenario, you don't get it.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: They start at the one-year line.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: They have to go 60 yards to get a field goal.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: to beat you, right?
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's say you kicked the field goal.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now you kick off.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: If you kick off, not only are you risking kicking off and then returning it on you to put themselves into field goal range and tie you anyway, but now you get to play them with all four downs.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: They get to play offense with four downs for the entire drive and they got 144 left.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's plenty of time.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I was 4.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: I was 4 kicking, I mean going for it on 4th and 1.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I would do it again.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, in the flow of the game, I don't think I would ever, ever, ever support a head coach that kicks 18 yard vehicles.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: You get to the one-yard line, the decisions are made for you.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: Score.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because the alternative, like, you know, the benefit is through yards.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's three points.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: And again, you got to kick off.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the kick-off rules have made it.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: So kicking off is like a huge play now.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you're an NFL team, if you're an NFL general manager, and you're not investing resources in the return game, then I don't know what you're doing.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's important.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's something Miami has going pretty good right now with Malik Washington.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: But if he's going to get an expanded role, I think that's something they got to talk about in the offseason as far as bringing in a kick returner.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: maybe you're last running back on the roster, maybe you're six wide receiver, but wherever it is, it has to be a premier guy.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a position now on NFL teams.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: As long as the kickoff rule is going to be the way it is, it's a huge part of the game.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: It happens all the time.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, Minnesota celebrating JJ McCarthy playing like crap for three quarters and then playing a pretty good fourth quarter, giving them lead, they kick off,
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: Bears were trying at 68 yards.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: They kicked the field goal they won.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a huge part of the game now and it's important.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I was for going for it there at the end of regulation.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we're going to go to break and when we come back we will take all your questions.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: The first
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's get your your questions here.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: First question, do you attribute a defensive improvements more to the coaching, to the coaches, simplifying things or the unit developing or both?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's both, okay?
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll begin by saying this.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: They have simplified a lot of things in the run game.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the fronts that they used to play, they've kind of gotten rid of, they have their linebackers playing pretty simple two gap reads, they don't have them, like a used to be for a thousand years, but differences have gotten very, very complicated in recent memory.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: but it used to be 4,000 years especially in a pressure 5 defense which is a funny it's just a how I'm going to say this it's just saying that you have a pressure 5 defense just means that you play with light boxes and you play essentially a base 425 right it used to be that your two linebackers one was a fill one was a scrape the scrape is reading the b gap and the outside the fill is reading
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: So the fill linebacker is your micbacker.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Your scrape is essentially your off-ball outside linebacker.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: Now in the NFL, it's been made to where you essentially need two both guys to be scrapes.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: You need both guys to be able to fill and to be able to scrape.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: So they got to read the the flat.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: They got to read the outside.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: They got to read the
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: So, you need versatility in your linebackers.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: They've simplified a lot of their operation on defense as far as their fronts and what they got to read.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: In against the past, they've also asked the rookie defensive tackles to do less as far as their stunts and games.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: So they're making things simpler on them.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: And it's paid dividends.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: And the most important thing that's happened on defense and which made them better is that these cornerbacks have been good.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I understand that we spent all off season and training camp like, oh my god, these these cornerbacks are going to allow 400 yards passing Pregame and all that's been bullshit.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: All that's been alive had to had some bad games.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, of course.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: The Carolina game was a bad game by the cornerbacks like it happens.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: The Patriot game wasn't all that great from the cornerbacks.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, although trick made didn't make K thrown to his backs and throwing to to his tight-end, uh, but yeah, they've had bad games.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: The cornerbacks have had bad games, but they've had a lot of good ones.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: And this latest one is probably their best game.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: They played fabulous against the Buffalo Bills.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Juju Brunt's now gone for the season, but, you know, who's gonna step into his plays?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: A guy who actually made that unit actually pretty damn good to begin with, and that's for a
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's been both, but mostly they have simplified things, but it's been the play, it's been the play of guys They have just gotten better and quite frankly the rookie defensive tackles have all gotten better And now you're getting to see Zig Bigger's a little bit And I think he's really good in against the past, it's a good past Russia
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Not that he has a huge bag and he's going to bring out spin moves and swim moves and all types of things, but he shows color to quarterbacks.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: So big that he makes his presence felt.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, I believe he led the team in pressures against the Buffalo Bills.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and I think you play what 20 and 1 snaps or something like that.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember how many snaps he played, but it wasn't that many so yeah, he's He's noticeable and I hope he gets run for the rest of the season when I don't support is what they would date with Dante Trader In this watch to game we didn't play enough snaps I he should be playing every single snap on defense period you got to know what you have you got to know if he's a guy You're gonna count on for next season
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, next question, is Big Jonas head starting to not swim with everything now?
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: Is that why he's shown improvement?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's shown improvement just, you know, not because, you know, they've done anything different with him.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's that, you know, it's, it's natural progression.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's been pretty game good for like three of the last four weeks.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'll end up those with the three wins, right?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was really, really good against the the commanders.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, Jonas been pretty damn good.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: All right, next question.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'll keep it simple.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: Last six games, Miami goes three and three does McDaniel survive.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's the thing, does he go three and three?
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like look, you got it.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: You got to figure he wins these next two right Saints and Jets like you got to get those two So he just got him winning one out of the last four You know, I don't know So you got him going what one in three down the stretch so he's gonna lose against every decent team
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: That happens.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think they, they start looking around.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: I do believe that he'll get the season no matter what.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: Meaning he'll get next season.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: He'll be on some type of probation.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know bonus question.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: He asks bonus.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: If they do make it to the dance, I'm meaning to make it to the playoff and get bounce the first run again does Mike survive.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, absolutely.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm going to make the playoffs with this team.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: He might win coach with the year.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: And if he doesn't, if they make the playoffs, okay?
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: And look, I've looked at it and I've gone over it.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't see anyone held and make the playoffs that night and night.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: So they gotta go, they gotta win out.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: They gotta go 10 and 7 to make the playoffs.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: So let's say that happens.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say that they go 10 and 7 and they make the playoffs.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: How the hell do you not give them coach with the year?
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'd bang the table for it, and I'd campaign pretty hard for it if that happened.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: Next question, do you like the idea of brand-in-sure possibly being the guy in charge?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I've said it before, I think I will be for a situation where
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: you have a head of football operations, a present of football ops, and then you have the general manager directly below him.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: So can I get behind a situation where you have something like maybe a John McCabe, maybe something like an Alex Hallaby, something like a Donna Ponti, even a Brandon Shore as a president of football operations, and then
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that that's a winning structure planning of good teams have that type of structure So that's something I would support now, Brian is sure He happens to be very very good at his job He's for those who don't know that's he's my image cap guy.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're contract guy He's very very good at his job
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: as a director of football ops.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember his job is most important job is to be honest with Stephen Ross.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Can he do that job I think he can?
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I wouldn't mind, you know, like if you bring in an antlux haliby to be, and that's, and I'm just saying using that name because he's going to be a hot, hot commodity at seasons end.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: You bring in an ounce haliby to be your president of football operations.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: You put champ Kelly underneath and underneath him as the general manager and you keep running short in his current role.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's damn good structure as well.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Most importantly, you know,
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they'll be under in that scenario, I think the champion will be in a probation every year in 2026.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that the most important job that the next GM or director of football ops is going to have is to be honest with Stephen Ross and communicate with Stephen Ross or Dan Sillman who knows maybe Dan Sillman is going to take over this thing sooner rather than later so yeah
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: Next question, what's the word on who is possibly coming back from IR?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I believe Austin Jackson will be here for the Saints, he will play against the Saints.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also hearing that Darren Waller is close to returning.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: So those are two.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Iconberg, I don't think you're going to see him for the rest of the season.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: James Daniels, I've said this before, if he's not doing field work, then that means that he is still two weeks away.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's I would say Austin Jackson down wall or expect them back sooner rather than later Austin Jackson I believe a lock for the same it's game Next question is Taj in the doghouse is that why he isn't getting reps?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's out there.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's dressed He's just not getting targets Look he was bad against the ravens First career catch makes and move fumbles
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: And, man, that's a consequential fumble.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: You fumble, look, defense did a great job to force the fourth down on that drive, but, man, you fumble inside your own ten, like, come on.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's a terrible play.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: And later on, in the game, that the intersection that the two were through,
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's some taj, taj has to understand space, like you're already 40 yards from the line of scrimmage, like it's reasonable to suggest that the ball is not coming to you, make space for your quarterback, give him a target 2-32, since he's now extending the play and he didn't, he just kept it kept to stem going up field and essentially that pick is on him.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, next question, what's been your assessment of chop so far this season has been terrible?
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: And he asked, especially his last game back from concussion, he wasn't good in this last game.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: His past rushes were essentially going nowhere, looping way too far, better against the run.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: He was decent against the run in this game, but he's had a very, very rough season,
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think he has some legitimate excuses, and let's begin with those legitimate excuses.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: In the preseason he had the knee injury, then in week two, if you remember, Patriots game, he gets cheap shot of it in the end zone, and ever since then, he's been, nothing has been favoring it.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, maybe he's completely healthy.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: But he's been in and out of the lineup during games due to that injury and then he gets to concussion.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's essentially like like what we have a few games here left.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: What do we have left?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're four and seven.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: So there's six left.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's six games left.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: Hey man, he could run off eight sacks and maybe none of this matters.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: But I get the feeling that it's basically a lost year for for Chop Robinson.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, look, my partner on the podcast, Chris Kaufman, said something kind of profound.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we've traded the wrong young guy.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, gentlemen Philips, you know, uh, well, you know, J.L.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: Philips is going to be a fraudulent.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm interested to see what his market's going to look like.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: And whether Miami actually competes in it, because they're going to need edge help, especially if chop is not a guy that we can count on going forward.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's kind of a lost season.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's been absolutely awful.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: Next question is Andrew Meyer coming back this year.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, like that's that's happening as well He has he had a brace on his elbow.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that that's off.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think Omar Kelly talked about that that he took it off He's doing some field work, which means that he should be around Soon like he should be his window his 21 day window should be opening up soon
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: How does he help the team?
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's the backup to Aaron Bruer.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: So that's one way he can help him.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: He can help him in special teams as well.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, a lot of teams are employing a lot of offensive linemen on different special teams units this year.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_00]: So especially if they're mobile and he is mobile, he can help you in that regard.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, we're going to call it right here.

- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: I believe through IPC, we're doing just one show next week.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: Wednesday, we will preview Saints Dolphins and we will go over the slate of Thanksgiving football.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: But, till then.
