- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver
- 0:04Speaker 1: Michael Bumpis.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Playfake, go to roll right, dumps it off into the
- 0:07Speaker 2: right flass to Michael Bumpers, who bounce us off A
- 0:09Speaker 2: one tackler gets inside the forty down of the thirty.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Five yard line. Powered by seahawks dot Com.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Matt pumpfake's looking at the god line. He throws it
- 0:17Speaker 2: into the end zone.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Touchdown. Say Hawks, it's Michael Thumps.
- 0:21Speaker 3: With a diving catching the end zone on ten yard.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Touchdown reception for Bumpers, and the kid out of Washington
- 0:28Speaker 2: State has found himself a place.
- 0:30Speaker 4: On this team.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Now here's your host, NASA Jobie.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Welcome into another edition of Hawk Talk. We're back Seahawks
- 0:38Speaker 5: getting ready to take on the division rival Samitisco forty
- 0:41Speaker 5: nine ers.
- 0:43Speaker 3: It was a tough week.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Last game last Thursday, the Seahawks fell to the Dallas
- 0:47Speaker 5: Cowboys in a heartbreaker forty one thirty five. The Seahawks
- 0:50Speaker 5: probably played their best game of the season on offense.
- 0:53Speaker 5: We're only able to get one stop on defense the
- 0:55Speaker 5: whole game. The Seahawks have now lost four of their
- 0:57Speaker 5: last five games. Pete Carroll has never lost four games
- 1:01Speaker 5: in a row as head coach of Seattle Seahawks, So
- 1:03Speaker 5: we're hoping that streak continues.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Bump.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Since we neede to really catch up about the Dallas game,
- 1:08Speaker 5: you know, we're all busy people, so we took a
- 1:10Speaker 5: little time, you know, get ourselves right, just like the
- 1:12Speaker 5: team did. But what was your main takeaways from the
- 1:14Speaker 5: Dallas game? Obviously there's a positives on offense. You couldn't
- 1:17Speaker 5: really get anything done defensively, but they showed some promise here.
- 1:21Speaker 5: But what was your main takeaway coming out of that game?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Third downs were big?
- 1:26Speaker 6: Right? The Hawks were nine or fourteen on third down
- 1:28Speaker 6: their best performance all year when it comes to third downs. Man,
- 1:32Speaker 6: they put up four hundred and six yards. They were
- 1:34Speaker 6: moving the football, explosive plays. A seventy three yard game
- 1:37Speaker 6: by DK you got a thirty nine yard screen. Thank
- 1:40Speaker 6: goodness to the screen lords above. The Hawks executed the scream.
- 1:43Speaker 6: That was good there and the Hawks tell had a
- 1:45Speaker 6: chance to win the game. Now, Tyler Lockett, I know,
- 1:47Speaker 6: is kicking himself right now. He had a football that
- 1:49Speaker 6: he should have and could have caught to extend that drive.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Who knows what happens late in the game.
- 1:53Speaker 6: But you look at this offense and you go, I
- 1:55Speaker 6: you were moving g you know, three hundred and thirty
- 1:57Speaker 6: four yards his second best performance this year when it
- 1:59Speaker 6: comes to yards. Three touchdowns, first time this year throwing
- 2:02Speaker 6: three touchdowns. So now you just need both sides to
- 2:04Speaker 6: play well at the same time. But I look at
- 2:06Speaker 6: the offense and I go, third downs were good. Gino
- 2:10Speaker 6: threw the ball well, DK had himself a game, and
- 2:14Speaker 6: then the screen game was popping so up. There are
- 2:17Speaker 6: some posits. I know it's an l but you can
- 2:18Speaker 6: always find some good in a bad situation.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Hey man, let's build off it. I love that.
- 2:23Speaker 5: I love seeing the offense to do what they did against Dallas.
- 2:25Speaker 5: It it gave us some promise. Because as bad as
- 2:27Speaker 5: things are, the Seahawks are six and six, have everything
- 2:30Speaker 5: in front of them this season. They still control their
- 2:32Speaker 5: destiny of how they want this year to end. So
- 2:34Speaker 5: let's waste no more time. Let's hop into it. What's
- 2:36Speaker 5: on tap?
- 2:40Speaker 1: What's on tap?
- 2:42Speaker 5: Let San Francisco forty nine ers nine in three, first
- 2:45Speaker 5: place in the NFC West. Very impressive right now, but
- 2:49Speaker 5: they got wins over the Steelers, Rams, Giants, Cardinals, Cowboys,
- 2:53Speaker 5: three losses in a row to the Browns, Vikings, and Bengals,
- 2:55Speaker 5: and took down the Jags, Bucks, the Seahawks two weeks ago,
- 2:59Speaker 5: and the Philadelphi at Eagles. So when you look at
- 3:02Speaker 5: this team, they're obviously not untouchable. But I'd be lying
- 3:06Speaker 5: to you, Bump, if I didn't tell you or acknowledge
- 3:09Speaker 5: how good of a football team they are. They might
- 3:10Speaker 5: be the best team in the NFL, especially given what
- 3:13Speaker 5: we saw this past weekend against a forty nine er
- 3:16Speaker 5: or two be against the Eagles, Bump, how shocking was that?
- 3:18Speaker 3: What'd you take away from that game?
- 3:20Speaker 4: Man?
- 3:21Speaker 6: I wasn't ready for that. I honestly had the Eagles
- 3:24Speaker 6: pick to win that game. I thought they were the
- 3:25Speaker 6: tougher team. I thought they would be at home. But
- 3:28Speaker 6: then the Niners reminded you, Look, you got a whole
- 3:31Speaker 6: bunch to worry about. And it was the most anticipated
- 3:34Speaker 6: game in the NFL. It was a rematch of the
- 3:36Speaker 6: NFC Championship. Right you're looking. You're saying the Niners. I've
- 3:39Speaker 6: been saying all year, if we have Rock Party, the
- 3:41Speaker 6: things that could have happened, And now you have Rock Party.
- 3:43Speaker 4: He has himself a day. But I'm like, it's still
- 3:46Speaker 4: two different teams.
- 3:46Speaker 6: You can't say, see this is would happened in the
- 3:48Speaker 6: NFC Championship.
- 3:49Speaker 4: But you know that's what they're gonna do. Mitchell Brock,
- 3:52Speaker 4: Party here to elbow.
- 3:52Speaker 6: Last year that you had Johnson Johnson, he gets knocked
- 3:54Speaker 6: out the game and now you were left with no
- 3:57Speaker 6: one who could really.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Throw the football.
- 3:58Speaker 6: They try to get Party back in there, some like
- 4:00Speaker 6: dump Boss from checkdowns, but it just didn't happen.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Man.
- 4:04Speaker 6: But it started well for the Eagles when we're talking
- 4:06Speaker 6: about this game, right this year, this game six to
- 4:08Speaker 6: zero in the first quarter, and then the forty nine
- 4:10Speaker 6: ers had minus six yards in the first quarter with
- 4:12Speaker 6: two punts.
- 4:13Speaker 4: That's what I'm.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Thinking, all right, Okay, the Eagles are legit, and I
- 4:16Speaker 6: still think I think they are legit, But the Niners
- 4:18Speaker 6: figured some things out.
- 4:20Speaker 4: From that point, the Niners wouldn't be stopped. Man.
- 4:22Speaker 6: It scored touchdowns on six consecutive drives.
- 4:25Speaker 4: That's the most.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Consecutive touchdown scored by a team in the Seagull Game
- 4:29Speaker 6: since nineteen ninety two.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Were you even born yet ninety two?
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:34Speaker 5: Man, I was thriving in ninety two. Bro I was thriving.
- 4:37Speaker 5: I was one years old.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Now.
- 4:42Speaker 6: The Niners, they showed up on Sunday, brought perty like
- 4:44Speaker 6: I mentioned, did his thing nineteen to twenty seven, three
- 4:46Speaker 6: hundred and fourteen yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Deebo Samuel Man four receptions, one hundred and sixteen yards,
- 4:54Speaker 6: two touchdowns. He also rushed for twenty two yards and
- 4:57Speaker 6: he added another touchdown there. The MVP of the League
- 4:59Speaker 6: of Mine opinion, Christian McCaffrey one hundred and thirty three
- 5:02Speaker 6: yards in one rushing touchdown for the Eagles. Jalen Hurts.
- 5:06Speaker 6: He was twenty six to forty five for two hundred
- 5:07Speaker 6: ninety eight yards in one touchdown. He was shaking up
- 5:10Speaker 6: for a bid. Had to go to the locker room
- 5:11Speaker 6: in the second half, but he returned. He was good
- 5:13Speaker 6: to go. Aj Brown led Eagles receivers with one hundred
- 5:17Speaker 6: and fourteen yards on eight receptions and the game was chippy.
- 5:20Speaker 6: From the Star Debo was making a lot of noise,
- 5:23Speaker 6: but he backed it up. Lots of near fights in
- 5:27Speaker 6: this game. He saw green Law and the Eagles head
- 5:30Speaker 6: of security. First off, security, what you're doing on the
- 5:33Speaker 6: sideline right at least that close to the action. You
- 5:36Speaker 6: should be like two rolls behind the coaches and the
- 5:38Speaker 6: players is making sure everything is good to go.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Greenlaw puts his hand in his face. I don't think
- 5:43Speaker 4: he meant.
- 5:43Speaker 6: To touch old dude, but he did, and I guess, honestly,
- 5:47Speaker 6: I don't think that was means for rejection. Honestly, I mean,
- 5:50Speaker 6: come on, man, security and a player. I got a
- 5:52Speaker 6: side with the player, not security. You have nothing to
- 5:55Speaker 6: do with the play on the field.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Security.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Yeah, that was weird. Some of our Seahawks and plays
- 6:00Speaker 5: had a group chofts aside. We're thinking, man, I couldn't
- 6:03Speaker 5: imagine our guy George being out there and getting in
- 6:05Speaker 5: the mix with someone from the other team. But hey,
- 6:07Speaker 5: things happen. I think Greenwall got the short end of
- 6:11Speaker 5: the stick. He's on the field, he's in the action.
- 6:13Speaker 5: That was a weird situation, But they responded the.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Forty nine ers. I mean, you said six touchdowns in
- 6:18Speaker 3: a row. That hadn't happened since ninety two.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Jalen Hurts, he went twenty six to forty five two
- 6:23Speaker 5: ninety eight a touchdown. He had to run off the field,
- 6:25Speaker 5: look like he got hurt. He came back. They cleared
- 6:27Speaker 5: him to play. But what jumped out to me, Bump
- 6:30Speaker 5: was just, Man, that score in that building on a
- 6:35Speaker 5: game like that just made you go like, man, I
- 6:37Speaker 5: don't want to play those guys.
- 6:39Speaker 6: But.
- 6:41Speaker 5: They're a good football team and I think they had
- 6:43Speaker 5: so much. You can say what you want. Everyone says
- 6:45Speaker 5: the right thing in the media, Hey, is just a game.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Last year was just a game. This a new team,
- 6:49Speaker 5: new season, blah blah blah. No, I can't accept that
- 6:53Speaker 5: that was in the back of their mind, like, no,
- 6:55Speaker 5: we're gonna show everybody this how we play football.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Dee Bo after the catch. Just the physicalness.
- 7:00Speaker 5: The one thing I guess I'd say about the Eagles
- 7:02Speaker 5: that I guess they were down their top linebackers, and
- 7:05Speaker 5: there's one thing Kyle Shanahan can do. What's your weakness? Okay,
- 7:09Speaker 5: I'm gonna expose that, and datas went nuts over the middle.
- 7:12Speaker 5: So yeah, that didn't give me a lot of confidence
- 7:15Speaker 5: moving forward, just in terms of how good they are.
- 7:18Speaker 5: But again, if there's any one coach, if there's anyone
- 7:21Speaker 5: that I'd rely on to final weakness and get his
- 7:23Speaker 5: team ready to play in a game where people don't
- 7:25Speaker 5: think they can win, that's Pete Carroll. So let's jump
- 7:28Speaker 5: into the head to head matchup against these forty nine ers.
- 7:30Speaker 5: When you know, offensively the Niners are just they are
- 7:32Speaker 5: what they are. Third in the NFL in total offense
- 7:35Speaker 5: averaging three hundred and ninety one yards per game, fifth
- 7:38Speaker 5: when it comes to running the football one thirty six
- 7:40Speaker 5: per game, seventh with the pass two hundred and fifty
- 7:43Speaker 5: five yards a game, and third in points per game
- 7:45Speaker 5: at twenty nine point three. You flip over to the Seahawks,
- 7:48Speaker 5: they are nineteenth in total offense averaging three hundred and
- 7:50Speaker 5: twenty five yards. They're twenty seventh in the league when
- 7:53Speaker 5: it comes to running the ball averaging ninety three. Passing
- 7:56Speaker 5: the ball they're right in the middle of the pack
- 7:57Speaker 5: two hundred thirty one yards per game, and then pointsber
- 8:01Speaker 5: game at twenty two or fourteenth in the league. So obviously,
- 8:03Speaker 5: on paper, the Niners have the ade statistically, but you
- 8:07Speaker 5: talked about it a second ago.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I love with the Seahawks.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Yet against a good Dallas team who had similar offensive
- 8:12Speaker 5: numbers that I just read off going into last week,
- 8:15Speaker 5: or defensive numbers, you know, and they were able to
- 8:18Speaker 5: match up right, So I liked what the Seahawks offense
- 8:21Speaker 5: was able to do.
- 8:22Speaker 3: They showed up and performed. Obviously Dallas did as well.
- 8:25Speaker 5: But I'm hoping that the Seahawks can once again kind
- 8:28Speaker 5: of play above where they rank in numbers.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the goal. That's the plan.
- 8:32Speaker 6: I think is vital for the offense to ride the
- 8:35Speaker 6: wave that they created, and for the defense. You know,
- 8:39Speaker 6: they did some great things. Obviously you look at the
- 8:40Speaker 6: score and you say, man, what are you talking about.
- 8:42Speaker 6: They still sacked Dak Prescott four times before that previous
- 8:45Speaker 6: three games he wouldn't touch really no sack.
- 8:48Speaker 4: So you did some things.
- 8:49Speaker 6: And Dak Prescott is an MVP caliber type quarterback. You
- 8:52Speaker 6: got another MVP type quarterback coming in, or you're going
- 8:56Speaker 6: to go meet that MVP type quarterback in San Francisco
- 8:58Speaker 6: this weekend. So yeah, man, ride the wave and defenses
- 9:01Speaker 6: make a couple more plays. If Rock Purty turns the
- 9:04Speaker 6: ball over, they lose those games. If you keep kiss
- 9:08Speaker 6: Christian McCaffrey below fifty yards rushing, they lose those games.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Tough chast this recipe, go go ahead and get it done.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Yeah, man, I yeah, they're a good football team. They're
- 9:20Speaker 5: a number one rushing defensive league. The're number two when
- 9:22Speaker 5: it comes to points allowed. We know the people they have,
- 9:24Speaker 5: and we're gonna get into all the matchup nightmares that
- 9:27Speaker 5: they create. But they can be beat. This is the
- 9:32Speaker 5: National Football League. They've been beat three times. That's why
- 9:35Speaker 5: we line up and we play the games. But this
- 9:38Speaker 5: is a division foe. The Seahawks have played them a
- 9:40Speaker 5: million times over the last couple of years.
- 9:42Speaker 3: So let's know the history.
- 9:43Speaker 1: No, your history.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Seahawks lead all time series twenty nine to twenty in
- 9:48Speaker 5: the regular season. They're tied at one a piece in
- 9:51Speaker 5: the postseason.
- 9:53Speaker 3: This history is very recent. It was a couple of
- 9:56Speaker 3: weeks ago.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Seahawks all the forty nine ers thirty one thirteen on Thanksgiving,
- 10:00Speaker 5: and long story short, it just couldn't have started worse
- 10:02Speaker 5: for the Seahawks. They went into the game or at
- 10:04Speaker 5: halftime trailing twenty four to three, just couldn't quite get
- 10:07Speaker 5: things going their way. Fifteen yards of offense on the
- 10:09Speaker 5: five possessions, turning the ball over they made this a game.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Jordan Brooks picks off rock party runs it back for touchdown.
- 10:16Speaker 5: The Seahawks get a stop. They have their best drive
- 10:18Speaker 5: of the game going seventy eight yards. A misholding call
- 10:21Speaker 5: on JSN really hurt the team because they were in
- 10:23Speaker 5: the first and goal from the one they scored. That
- 10:25Speaker 5: would have been a one possession game, and I really
- 10:27Speaker 5: believe that really would have changed the outcome of that game.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Unfortunate didn't hapen.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Seahawks kick a field goal, then would get another stop,
- 10:33Speaker 5: but couldn't capitalize, gave the ball back to San fram
- 10:36Speaker 5: They marched down the field and score alut gets into
- 10:38Speaker 5: the end zone. They win thirty one to thirteen. But
- 10:41Speaker 5: you mentioned Christian McCaffrey. He ran for one hundred and
- 10:44Speaker 5: fourteen yards and two touchdowns in that game. That can
- 10:46Speaker 5: happen because he their offense goes as he goes. Obviously,
- 10:50Speaker 5: party is that dude as well. But if McCaffrey isn't
- 10:53Speaker 5: running the ball, they're not effective. They aren't getting hill
- 10:55Speaker 5: over in space and the motions and all that, it's
- 10:58Speaker 5: not as good for them. So the Seahawks hoping who
- 11:00Speaker 5: snapped this losing streak to the forty nine ers and
- 11:04Speaker 5: all the forty niner fans out there, This is directed
- 11:06Speaker 5: at my friend Katie Chan.
- 11:07Speaker 3: We haven't talked for a while, but.
- 11:09Speaker 5: She's a big Niners fan, and this is this is
- 11:11Speaker 5: what she must have felt from about twenty twelve to
- 11:15Speaker 5: about twenty twenty two of just getting beat week after
- 11:18Speaker 5: week after week.
- 11:19Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 11:20Speaker 5: So I can't wait for the Seahawks to turn this around.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Shout out to my girl, Katie. It's personal. You brought
- 11:28Speaker 5: it up in the podcast. She must have been running.
- 11:30Speaker 5: She must be running at mauth. Wow, you brought it up.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Huh.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Well, she's actually been pretty quiet of late, but she
- 11:36Speaker 5: that's typically not her style.
- 11:37Speaker 3: So I'm getting ahead of it.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Just okay, because I pull up Pro Football Reference and
- 11:41Speaker 5: I say, I'm just gonna put that there for a
- 11:42Speaker 5: little bit. So calm, calm yourself down. Question six.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Anyway, let's check out what's going on in the rest
- 11:47Speaker 3: of the NFC West.
- 11:48Speaker 2: What's the word the Seahawks or the NFC West champs?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Again, what's the word in the West? On Hawk Talk?
- 12:02Speaker 4: All right, we talked about it. Niners are nine and three.
- 12:04Speaker 6: They are at the top of the division, one of
- 12:07Speaker 6: the best teams in the NFC, and got the Los
- 12:09Speaker 6: Angeles Rams who have come on strong as of late.
- 12:11Speaker 4: They are six and six.
- 12:12Speaker 6: The Hawks are six and six as well, and the
- 12:14Speaker 6: Arizona Cardinals are three and ten. The Hawks have fallen
- 12:18Speaker 6: out of the playoff picture for the first time in
- 12:20Speaker 6: a while.
- 12:20Speaker 4: They are now ninth in the NFC.
- 12:22Speaker 6: They have the same record as the Vikings the Packers
- 12:24Speaker 6: in the Rams, but lose the tie breakers. Now let's
- 12:28Speaker 6: talk about the Browns versus the Rams. Now, after losing
- 12:32Speaker 6: to the Cowboys, Seahawks were in need of some health.
- 12:34Speaker 6: They need the Rams to take that. Hell didn't work
- 12:36Speaker 6: out for the Seahawks. Joe Flacco got the start eighties. Baby,
- 12:39Speaker 6: stand up, We're still in this league, all right. This
- 12:43Speaker 6: is their fourth different starting quarterback of the year. Dtr
- 12:46Speaker 6: was out with a concussion. This game came down to
- 12:48Speaker 6: the wire as the Browns were looking to tie the
- 12:50Speaker 6: game early in the fourth after a touchdown pass from
- 12:53Speaker 6: Flack go to Harrison Bryant. But disaster strikes. You missed
- 12:58Speaker 6: the extra points. So now this course twenty nineteen to
- 13:01Speaker 6: the Rams. The Rams would score the game's next sixteen
- 13:04Speaker 6: points and win the game thirty six to nineteen.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Matthew Stafford had a day.
- 13:08Speaker 6: He was twenty two for thirty seven with three touchdowns
- 13:11Speaker 6: and zero interceptions.
- 13:12Speaker 4: The rookie sensation of the league.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Puoka Nicole led all receivers with one hundred and five
- 13:17Speaker 6: yards four receptions in one touchdown in the thirty eight
- 13:20Speaker 6: year old flag. This man is older than me, and
- 13:22Speaker 6: he is in the NFL. He was twenty three of
- 13:25Speaker 6: forty four two fifty four, two touchdowns in one interception.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Now we may owe our friend JB Long an apology.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Three weeks ago before the Seahawks played the Rams, Jay
- 13:33Speaker 6: Berwald an article about the three and six Rams, how
- 13:36Speaker 6: they can make the playoffs, and we laughed at him.
- 13:38Speaker 6: But three weeks later, joke is on us. My man
- 13:42Speaker 6: JB predicted that thing. You know what, I got his number.
- 13:44Speaker 6: I'm gonna text him and say, you know what, JB,
- 13:46Speaker 6: my bad dog. We apologize over here in the Northwest.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe he saw something. But here's the thing. JV's
- 13:53Speaker 5: gonna be optimistic. He's the play by play voice of
- 13:55Speaker 5: the Los Angeles Rams, and he was right. He saw something.
- 13:58Speaker 5: But what I will say, good luck with Baltimore. Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 5: a real because we experience that and they are a
- 14:06Speaker 5: good football team. But let's let's get back into the
- 14:09Speaker 5: San Francisco forty nine ers. Lots of matchups to get into.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Let's man up, man.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Up on Hawk Talk.
- 14:24Speaker 5: We're gonna start what we always do is at the
- 14:25Speaker 5: quarterback position. This time we're looking at Brock Party versus
- 14:28Speaker 5: Seahawks defense, and Party Man, he does nothing but produce.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I mean, that just is what it is.
- 14:35Speaker 5: He's seventh in the NFL passing yards, first in completion
- 14:38Speaker 5: percentage eighth, and yards per game fourth and touchdowns first
- 14:41Speaker 5: in QBR first and QB rating. And when Party's good,
- 14:44Speaker 5: this offense is the leade. We've talked about this before.
- 14:47Speaker 5: The win streak to start the year, seventy two percent
- 14:49Speaker 5: completion percentage, twelve hundred yards, nine touchdowns, no picks. When
- 14:53Speaker 5: they lost those games, three game losing streak, he turned
- 14:55Speaker 5: the ball over. He had six turnovers, five interceptions at
- 14:58Speaker 5: that time, seven hundre sixty two yards and just three touchdowns.
- 15:01Speaker 5: But in the last four weeks he's been almost perfect,
- 15:05Speaker 5: seventy four percent completion percentage, almost twelve hundred yards, eleven
- 15:08Speaker 5: touchdowns in one interception. That one interception was to Jake
- 15:11Speaker 5: Jordan Brooks, so he's killing the game. He crushed it
- 15:15Speaker 5: last week nineteen twenty seven, three hundred and fourteen yards,
- 15:18Speaker 5: four touchdowns.
- 15:18Speaker 3: And no picks against the Eagles.
- 15:21Speaker 5: If offense goes as perty goes as well as McCaffrey
- 15:24Speaker 5: and on the air, like I said, he got over
- 15:26Speaker 5: three thousand yards, twenty three touchdowns to just those six interceptions,
- 15:29Speaker 5: been sacked twenty three times. This offense is the third
- 15:32Speaker 5: best offense in the league. And the first matchup against
- 15:35Speaker 5: Seattle Brock went twenty one to thirty two oh nine,
- 15:39Speaker 5: one touchdown, one interception.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Was sacked twice.
- 15:41Speaker 5: So just at that, when you look at those numbers,
- 15:43Speaker 5: those don't jump off the page. Right, the Seahawks teinn't
- 15:46Speaker 5: get beat because Party was throwing the ball over the yard, right,
- 15:50Speaker 5: he made a couple of nice throws. I'm not saying that,
- 15:52Speaker 5: but when you know, I'm okay with those numbers. If
- 15:54Speaker 5: I take if I look at those numbers, I would
- 15:56Speaker 5: say the Seahawks are gonna win that game. You know,
- 15:58Speaker 5: eight times out of ten, Party's only thrown for two
- 16:00Speaker 5: hndred yards, one touchdown, one interception.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I would like to get him on the ground more.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I like him to get sacked a little bit more.
- 16:05Speaker 5: But he's good for years on this podcast, or not years,
- 16:09Speaker 5: I guess he's only been in the league.
- 16:10Speaker 3: For one year before.
- 16:11Speaker 4: This feels like years.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yes, it does. But we've talked.
- 16:14Speaker 5: About it, mister irrelvant this and that, and I've always
- 16:16Speaker 5: kind of been like, yeah, I just kind of wait,
- 16:18Speaker 5: wait and see.
- 16:19Speaker 3: He's doing really good, but let's wait and see. Well,
- 16:22Speaker 3: we've seen it's out there. We saw Rock Purdy is legit,
- 16:26Speaker 3: but he's he's not perfect. He's not untouchable.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I think if Seahawks can find a way that, you know,
- 16:30Speaker 5: Morris's all the time, take away the middle of the field,
- 16:33Speaker 5: force him into some tougher throws and not let everything
- 16:36Speaker 5: be right in front of him, I think you can
- 16:37Speaker 5: help because his guys will talk about them get a
- 16:39Speaker 5: lot of yards after the catch, but Party cancer in
- 16:42Speaker 5: the ball over. But I think that starts with getting
- 16:43Speaker 5: pressure on him, because if you don't, he can definitely
- 16:46Speaker 5: pick you apart.
- 16:47Speaker 6: I hate that I was right about Party. I was
- 16:49Speaker 6: one of the guys saying, hey, I think it's gonna
- 16:51Speaker 6: be I think it's gonna be.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Okay.
- 16:52Speaker 6: I hate that I was right Party. Shame on you.
- 16:54Speaker 6: Let's talk about our quarterback, all right, g you know, yeah,
- 16:57Speaker 6: one of his best games of the season against Dallas
- 16:59Speaker 6: was twenty three or forty one, three hundred and thirty
- 17:02Speaker 6: four yards, three touchdowns, had one interception. Also had his
- 17:05Speaker 6: fourth three hundred yard passing game of the season, first
- 17:08Speaker 6: game of the year with three touchdowns, like I mentioned. Unfortunately,
- 17:11Speaker 6: his bid for his fourth game winning drive came up shorts.
- 17:14Speaker 6: The Seahawks stalled out on a fourth and two from
- 17:17Speaker 6: the fifty yard line with a minute to go.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Here's a good thing, all right.
- 17:21Speaker 6: For one, Third downs were not a problem against the
- 17:23Speaker 6: Dallas Cowboys. Seahawks were nine to fourteen that is sixty
- 17:26Speaker 6: four percent, by far, the best performance on third downs
- 17:30Speaker 6: of the year. Unfortunately, the Hawks were also on three
- 17:33Speaker 6: on fourth downs. Could have used that one late in
- 17:34Speaker 6: the game on the final three drives of the game.
- 17:37Speaker 4: GENO through three.
- 17:38Speaker 6: All Right, we're doing this every week because the people
- 17:40Speaker 6: want to know. All right, he is down six percent.
- 17:43Speaker 6: When it comes to completion rate, he's at sixty four.
- 17:46Speaker 6: He's down about two hundred and forty yards. When it
- 17:48Speaker 6: comes to yards, he's got twenty nine hundred and eighteen.
- 17:51Speaker 6: He is down seven touchdowns for the year as compared
- 17:53Speaker 6: to last year. He's got fifteen at this point, and
- 17:56Speaker 6: he is up when it comes to interceptions up three
- 17:58Speaker 6: he's got nine this year, and he's down it comes
- 18:00Speaker 6: to sacks thirty one last year, twenty seven. This year
- 18:03Speaker 6: he's eighth, and completion percentage twelfth, in yards fourteenth, yards
- 18:06Speaker 6: per game, twelfth and QB rating and fifteenth when it
- 18:09Speaker 6: comes to QBR. The last time he lined up against
- 18:13Speaker 6: the San Francisco forty nine ers, he was eighteen to
- 18:15Speaker 6: twenty seven, one hundred and eighty yards, zero touchdowns, one interception,
- 18:19Speaker 6: and was sacked three times. But it ain't over. The
- 18:22Speaker 6: Gatlin continues against the forty nine ers defense, and their
- 18:26Speaker 6: defense is tough. You went over the numbers fifth in
- 18:28Speaker 6: total defense, fourteen against the pass, second against the run, second,
- 18:31Speaker 6: points allowed, ninth when it comes to sacks.
- 18:35Speaker 4: All that being said, we need a.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Geno type performance, and to me, a geno type performance
- 18:42Speaker 6: two seventy five, two to three touchdowns, no interceptions, hand
- 18:46Speaker 6: the ball off, put together some drives. There was a game,
- 18:49Speaker 6: I think was this game or last game, where they
- 18:51Speaker 6: put together two of the longest drives of the season. Right,
- 18:53Speaker 6: you had a fourteen play drives and a fifteen play
- 18:55Speaker 6: drive I think to neutralize this defense and to keep
- 18:59Speaker 6: this offense off the field, put these drives together, be
- 19:01Speaker 6: good on third downs.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Bring that game that you had in Dallas to the Bay.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Because the thing about it and I have all the
- 19:08Speaker 5: convents in the world because we've seen glimpses of it.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Let's go back to the playoff game last year.
- 19:12Speaker 5: How good this He also looked in the first half
- 19:14Speaker 5: and things kind of turned because there was a lot
- 19:16Speaker 5: different defense. We couldn't really get a stop we were playing.
- 19:18Speaker 5: You know, Jordan Brooks was out, we didn't have Bobby,
- 19:20Speaker 5: a lot of young guys playing on the defense at
- 19:22Speaker 5: the time, a lot of injuries. But we've seen him
- 19:24Speaker 5: do it against those group of players. We've seen it happen.
- 19:27Speaker 5: It's just one of those things where I think we've
- 19:28Speaker 5: got to find a way to take advantage of the
- 19:31Speaker 5: one on one matchups when the Niners decided to manus
- 19:33Speaker 5: up in the back end, and if we can hold
- 19:36Speaker 5: up Abe Lucas being back bump is huge for this
- 19:39Speaker 5: offensive line. I believe, you know you're gonna see Nick Bosa,
- 19:41Speaker 5: you got Armstead, you got all those guys up front.
- 19:43Speaker 5: But I really do believe that we've seen Geno do
- 19:46Speaker 5: it and this can't happen. They just got to start fast.
- 19:49Speaker 5: And then when you flip over the Niner side, Christian
- 19:51Speaker 5: McCaffrey against his front seven, you said it best running
- 19:54Speaker 5: back in the league. You know he's had I think
- 19:57Speaker 5: he's getting back to that all pro status in twenty nineteen.
- 20:00Speaker 5: So far this year, he's got a one thousand and
- 20:02Speaker 5: thirty two rushing yards that leads the NFL. The next
- 20:05Speaker 5: closest running back is Derek Henry with just eight forty one,
- 20:08Speaker 5: so it's one hundred and ninety one yards behind. So
- 20:10Speaker 5: you see the gap there. He's got twelve rushing touchdowns
- 20:13Speaker 5: that's second in the NFL. He also leads the league
- 20:16Speaker 5: in rushing first downs with sixty three. He had that
- 20:19Speaker 5: crazy touchdown streak where had seventy straight games with touchdown
- 20:21Speaker 5: that got snapped as he tied the record he's restarted.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Now he's at three games in a row on the year.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Like I said, over one thousand yards rushing, twelve touchdowns
- 20:30Speaker 5: in the passing game, fifty one receptions, four hundred and
- 20:32Speaker 5: twenty nine yards in five touchdowns. In the first matchup
- 20:37Speaker 5: against Seattle, he had nineteen carries one hundred and fourteen
- 20:39Speaker 5: yards and two touchdowns, five receptions for twenty five yards,
- 20:43Speaker 5: and Seahawk fans, really, I want you to listen closely.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Therese'sia a couple of moments in this podcast where you
- 20:48Speaker 5: want to look for optimism, and here's where I think
- 20:50Speaker 5: I found it. In the forty nine Ers three losses
- 20:53Speaker 5: this year, McCaffrey had his three worst rushing games of
- 20:56Speaker 5: the season. Eleven carries for forty three yards against Cleveland,
- 21:00Speaker 5: fifteen carries for forty five yards against Minnesota, twelve carries
- 21:03Speaker 5: for fifty four yards against Cincy, averaging just forty three
- 21:06Speaker 5: yards per game three point seven four yards per carry.
- 21:09Speaker 5: That's almost a yard and a half below his average
- 21:13Speaker 5: with all the other games. And as a team, the Niners,
- 21:15Speaker 5: obviously with McCaffrey struggling, had their three worst rushing games
- 21:19Speaker 5: as a team during that losing streak as expected, rushing
- 21:22Speaker 5: for just an average of ninety five yards per game,
- 21:24Speaker 5: down from their average of one thirty six.
- 21:26Speaker 3: So you said it earlier, easier said than done.
- 21:30Speaker 5: But if you can corral him, you know what I'm saying,
- 21:33Speaker 5: If you can keep him in check, he's gonna get
- 21:34Speaker 5: his yards, he's gonna get his place he's gonna have explosives.
- 21:37Speaker 5: When you're the best running back in the league, that's
- 21:39Speaker 5: going to happen. But if you can contain him, I
- 21:41Speaker 5: think that's where the Seahawks tame because then then if
- 21:43Speaker 5: the running game isn't going crazy, they're not possessing the ball,
- 21:46Speaker 5: they're not having long drives, all these things that are
- 21:48Speaker 5: kind of tied together. So Christian McCaffrey might be the
- 21:51Speaker 5: MVP of the league this year, and he'll be the MVP,
- 21:53Speaker 5: you know, the most important person the Seahawks have to stop.
- 21:56Speaker 6: On Sunday Facts, there's more to stop Deebo, Samuel and
- 22:01Speaker 6: Brandon I.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Deebo came in talking stuff, lived up to his name,
- 22:06Speaker 4: d Bow and he backed it up. Man.
- 22:09Speaker 3: He had.
- 22:10Speaker 6: He showed up with the game wearing all black and
- 22:14Speaker 6: black forces. If you know anything about the culture, you
- 22:17Speaker 6: know anything about air forces, there's the white ones and
- 22:21Speaker 6: there's black ones. Okay, make your assumptions. If you know,
- 22:25Speaker 6: you know. He had one hundred and thirty eight yards
- 22:27Speaker 6: from scrimmage. Man, that's the season high. He also had
- 22:29Speaker 6: three touchdowns. He's the Niners first wide receiver to have
- 22:32Speaker 6: three touchdowns in a game since t in two thousand
- 22:35Speaker 6: and one, and he's hard to tackle man one hundred
- 22:38Speaker 6: and fifty nine receiving yards, three and sixty nine of
- 22:40Speaker 6: them are yards after the cash, no yards after contact.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Actually that's some running back type stuff.
- 22:45Speaker 6: On the year, he's got thirty eight receptions five hundred
- 22:48Speaker 6: and ninety yards in three touchdowns, twenty nine carries for
- 22:50Speaker 6: one to sixteen and four touchdowns. The first time they
- 22:53Speaker 6: linked up with the Seattle Seahawks had seven receptions for
- 22:56Speaker 6: seventy nine yards, four carries for fifteen yards in one touchdown.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Brandon and I.
- 23:00Speaker 6: The best receiver on the team on the year is
- 23:03Speaker 6: ballin fifty receptions, nine hundred and twenty seven yards six touchdowns.
- 23:07Speaker 6: He will have his second one thousand yard season for sure.
- 23:10Speaker 6: Against the Seahawks, he had two receptions for fifty yards,
- 23:13Speaker 6: but he did have one touchdown. On the defensive side,
- 23:16Speaker 6: Devin Wetherspoon is third in the NFL with fifteen passes
- 23:19Speaker 6: defendant on the season. He's only one. He has only
- 23:22Speaker 6: one game this season where he doesn't have a pass defending.
- 23:24Speaker 6: This guy's everywhere. Reek Wallan's been coming on Azele. He
- 23:26Speaker 6: has four passes defendant in the last three games against Dallas,
- 23:30Speaker 6: though he had three costly penalties man led to eighty
- 23:33Speaker 6: seven yards and three first downs.
- 23:34Speaker 4: That was two passing afference and one holding call.
- 23:38Speaker 6: As a team, the Seahawks have fifty seven passive defendant
- 23:40Speaker 6: which is ninth in the NFL.
- 23:41Speaker 4: You need more of that this weekend, no.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Question about it. I think I think with Reek. One
- 23:47Speaker 5: of them I think was a PI. Another one was
- 23:49Speaker 5: a touchy call. But the officials are looking for that
- 23:52Speaker 5: kind of stuff. But I think if I feel good
- 23:55Speaker 5: anywhere defensively, like really strong, it's in the secondary, it's
- 23:59Speaker 5: on the outside. So I feel really good about that matchup.
- 24:01Speaker 5: I think they can match up with the debos, the
- 24:03Speaker 5: Ayuks of the world. Well, we're gonna continue talking about
- 24:07Speaker 5: matchups and tough people to defend Nick Bosa versus our body. Okay,
- 24:11Speaker 5: Nick's been one of the best defensive linemen in the league.
- 24:14Speaker 5: We don't need to go through all of his stuff
- 24:15Speaker 5: because that could be here for a while. Last year,
- 24:17Speaker 5: Defensive Player of the Year six and MVP voting, eighteen
- 24:19Speaker 5: and a half, sacks, a bunch of pressures, TFLs, all
- 24:23Speaker 5: the things. This year, you can look at him and say, oh,
- 24:26Speaker 5: he's kind of down right. He's only got eight sacks,
- 24:28Speaker 5: which a lot of people would kill for, but as
- 24:30Speaker 5: we know, that doesn't mean he's not impacting the game.
- 24:33Speaker 5: He can still be a game wrecker, and he was
- 24:34Speaker 5: in the Seahawks first matchup. In that first game, he
- 24:38Speaker 5: had five tackles, two sacks, two TFLs, five QB hits.
- 24:41Speaker 5: So he's going to be problem number one. But I
- 24:44Speaker 5: think our guys are battle tested again. I mentioned Abe
- 24:47Speaker 5: Luke is coming back. I think that's huge. Then I
- 24:49Speaker 5: think about Charles Cross, who has looked really good against
- 24:52Speaker 5: some of the top thing of the guys they've played
- 24:54Speaker 5: this year, Hutchinson, Bosa, Parsons last week, so he's been
- 24:58Speaker 5: battle tested with all these really tough matchups. So I'm
- 25:01Speaker 5: excited to see how Charles responds because he played well
- 25:04Speaker 5: in the you know, I guess the four games against
- 25:06Speaker 5: him for the most part, folks, that still has made
- 25:08Speaker 5: his place here and there. But I'm excited for that
- 25:10Speaker 5: matchup and I think Charles Cross will be ready to go.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Yeah, man, I'm looking forward to that that that matchup.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Nick Bosaman, he always lets you know how your offensive
- 25:18Speaker 6: line is performing, man, because if you contain him. You're
- 25:20Speaker 6: doing some good stuff. How about these these rbs.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Man.
- 25:23Speaker 6: We know Ken Walker, man, his status is still up.
- 25:26Speaker 6: We don't know what that's going to be like. He's
- 25:27Speaker 6: dealing with that oblique. You got Sharboney who has a
- 25:29Speaker 6: bruised knee. We'll see what he does. And he's been
- 25:32Speaker 6: all right. Man in the game. Sharpennee has one hundred
- 25:35Speaker 6: and seven yards and thirty three carries, one touchdown. He's
- 25:37Speaker 6: averaging three point four per carry. He's liable for a
- 25:40Speaker 6: big one. And also, man, we got DJ Dallas. He
- 25:43Speaker 6: has just three attenpts for sixteen yards. So we'll see
- 25:45Speaker 6: what he looks like. I also want to throw Kenny
- 25:47Speaker 6: Macintosh in there, man, maybe we see a little bit
- 25:49Speaker 6: of Kenny for the first time. On the year, Ken
- 25:52Speaker 6: Walker has six hundred and thirteen yards with six touchdowns.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Sharviennete has three sixty eight and one touchdown. DJ Dallas
- 25:57Speaker 6: has thirty four yards. Sharbone against the San Francisco forty
- 26:02Speaker 6: nine ers. The last time they linked up fourteen carries
- 26:04Speaker 6: for forty seven yards, and they'll be going up against
- 26:07Speaker 6: probably the best tenement NFL. Fred Warner and Drake Greenlaw
- 26:12Speaker 6: Warner into the league at twenty eighteen, it's had over
- 26:15Speaker 6: one hundred tackles in every season. He's one tack away
- 26:18Speaker 6: from hitting that number in twenty twenty three. We expect
- 26:20Speaker 6: he's gonna get it. On the year ninety nine tackles,
- 26:23Speaker 6: two sacks, three forest fumbles, five TFLs, and five quarterback hits.
- 26:26Speaker 4: It's partner in crime Greenlaw.
- 26:28Speaker 6: He's been balling this year to eighty six tackles, five TFLs,
- 26:32Speaker 6: four quarterback hits, one and a half sacks, and four
- 26:34Speaker 6: passes defended. The first matchup versus Seattle, these guys had
- 26:38Speaker 6: eight tackles. Excuse me, Fred green Law had eight tackles
- 26:41Speaker 6: and three solo. The running backs are going to have
- 26:46Speaker 6: to get or done. This is going to be tough, man.
- 26:49Speaker 6: It's not gonna be easy. That second level most talented.
- 26:52Speaker 6: They fly around, they make plays, they compliment each other.
- 26:56Speaker 6: It's gonna be a tough one. Nass I am, I'm
- 26:58Speaker 6: interested to see. I think the run game has to
- 27:01Speaker 6: be really explosive, just effected, you know, break a couple
- 27:04Speaker 6: here and there, three four yard games, five yard games,
- 27:07Speaker 6: just keep that second level active in having to respect.
- 27:11Speaker 4: The run and not just fly around.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right, those those are two of the best
- 27:15Speaker 5: linebackers in the National Football League. But I told you
- 27:18Speaker 5: earlier a couple of things look out for. Here's the
- 27:20Speaker 5: second thing. Forty nine Ers lost three games this year.
- 27:24Speaker 5: In those games, they've allowed an average of one hundred
- 27:27Speaker 5: and twenty two yards per game, one hundred and sixty
- 27:29Speaker 5: to Cleveland, seventy four to Minnesota, and one thirty four
- 27:32Speaker 5: to Cincy. That's a big contrast to the seventy nine
- 27:34Speaker 5: yards are given up in every other game. So I'm
- 27:37Speaker 5: not expecting Charbonne if he's playing, or Walker whoever's out there,
- 27:40Speaker 5: to go nuts. These guys defend the run. They're extremely
- 27:43Speaker 5: disciplined in the run fits that they're playing well. But
- 27:47Speaker 5: if you can do anything in the run game, help
- 27:50Speaker 5: flip field position, keep them honest, help us in the
- 27:52Speaker 5: screen game, help us get DK and JSN and lock
- 27:55Speaker 5: it open down the field, good things can happen. So
- 27:58Speaker 5: whatever the Browns in the Vikings and the Bengals were
- 28:01Speaker 5: able to figure out, I'm ope the Seahawston kind of
- 28:03Speaker 5: replicates some of that because they're gonna need it against
- 28:06Speaker 5: this talented front seven. The last matchup we're gonna get
- 28:10Speaker 5: to you. Here is George Kittle taking on the Seahawks
- 28:12Speaker 5: back seven linebackers secondary. Kittle again, another guy you already know.
- 28:16Speaker 5: I don't think I'll go through all the accolades. One
- 28:18Speaker 5: of the best tight ends in the league. Second leading
- 28:20Speaker 5: receiver for the forty nine ers, fifty receptions, seven hundred
- 28:23Speaker 5: and thirty five yards, five touchdowns. His seven hundred and
- 28:26Speaker 5: thirty five yards or third among tight ends. His five
- 28:29Speaker 5: touchdowns are fourth among tight ends in the NFL, averaging
- 28:32Speaker 5: fourteen point seven yards a catch. He's a menace in
- 28:35Speaker 5: the run game and in the past game. He'll do
- 28:37Speaker 5: all kinds of stuff that will frustrate you. He's good
- 28:39Speaker 5: in the screen game. He's just a great player. But
- 28:42Speaker 5: here's another good thing. For the first matchup, bump. First game,
- 28:45Speaker 5: he only had three receptions for nineteen yards, by far
- 28:49Speaker 5: his worst game against the Seahawks. They got a ton
- 28:51Speaker 5: of weapons, they got a ton of guys. But if
- 28:55Speaker 5: I've ever seen any team battle back the way they
- 28:59Speaker 5: are when they feel like their backs against the wall,
- 29:01Speaker 5: it'll be in a matchup like this.
- 29:02Speaker 3: If your forty nine ers maybe get a.
- 29:03Speaker 5: Big win, you're looking ahead and maybe feel like this
- 29:05Speaker 5: is someone call it a trap game out and necessarily
- 29:08Speaker 5: love that term. But maybe they're looking ahead, maybe they're
- 29:10Speaker 5: feeling themselves.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Who knows.
- 29:11Speaker 5: But there's a reason to play the games, and they're
- 29:13Speaker 5: gonna strap it up on Sunday. So bump, tell us
- 29:16Speaker 5: the path to victory.
- 29:19Speaker 2: After forty five waits for the staff, Michael Dixon puts
- 29:22Speaker 2: it down.
- 29:23Speaker 4: That kick is away.
- 29:24Speaker 3: If that kick.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Is gone, to say off when it's gone.
- 29:29Speaker 1: It's a path to victory on Hawk Talk.
- 29:33Speaker 6: All right, this is how they're gonna get it done. Okay,
- 29:35Speaker 6: this is game three of the Gauntlet. You cannot let
- 29:39Speaker 6: San Francisco bully you. You have to start fast. They're
- 29:42Speaker 6: a good football team. You can't spot them twenty one.
- 29:46Speaker 6: You gotta get all up in the game and make
- 29:48Speaker 6: it physical.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Baby, I'm excited for this one.
- 29:51Speaker 6: Control the time of possession, no lopsided stuff.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Right.
- 29:54Speaker 6: The first game the Niners had the game, the ball
- 29:56Speaker 6: felt like ninety percent of the time, and at one
- 29:59Speaker 6: poin point they really did have the ball in ninety
- 30:01Speaker 6: percent of the time. Yeah, I have to do that.
- 30:03Speaker 6: And also, man, we talked about Christian McCaffrey. You pointed
- 30:06Speaker 6: out all these gems when they lose, something happens. McCaffrey
- 30:10Speaker 6: does not go off, okay, and brod pretty turns the
- 30:13Speaker 6: football over.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Let's get those two things going.
- 30:16Speaker 5: I hope so hey, we've been talking to the post
- 30:19Speaker 5: game having a great old time. If McCaffrey is held
- 30:21Speaker 5: in check, because that's probably gonna equate to a Seahawks victory.
- 30:24Speaker 5: And then take care of the football, right, can't turn
- 30:26Speaker 5: the ball over against a really good team like this,
- 30:28Speaker 5: especially can't do it in your own end of the field.
- 30:32Speaker 3: I wouldn't mind. Here's the thing.
- 30:34Speaker 5: If we see Michael Dixon, because we didn't get to
- 30:36Speaker 5: see him last week other than Holden. If we see him,
- 30:38Speaker 5: that's not the end of the world. I just wanted
- 30:40Speaker 5: to be in a situation where we're flipping the field,
- 30:42Speaker 5: you feel me, So take care of the football. I'd
- 30:45Speaker 5: rather do that than turn it over. I'd either I
- 30:47Speaker 5: see a punt, so that's gonna be okay, and then
- 30:48Speaker 5: predict Gino. He was sacked the season high six times
- 30:51Speaker 5: in the first matchup, and obviously that's not good enough.
- 30:54Speaker 3: So I'm excited to see a lucas.
- 30:56Speaker 5: I talked about him and Charles Cross Evan Browns back
- 31:00Speaker 5: starting in other games. I just I like what's going
- 31:02Speaker 5: on there. Obviously got Jason Peters, Damien Lewis. They can
- 31:05Speaker 5: get it done, and I think they can play complimentary
- 31:08Speaker 5: football both sides of the ball bump for the first
- 31:10Speaker 5: time this year. And they are gonna get this done.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Mark our words. They're gonna get it done. Okay, and.
- 31:18Speaker 3: You know if they don't, we'll talk about it on Monday.
- 31:22Speaker 3: But I feel it. I feel the convidence. I feel
- 31:24Speaker 3: it in the air.
- 31:25Speaker 5: We've just smoke so much positivity over this half hour bump.
- 31:28Speaker 5: I'm excited for it. It's gonna happen. Reminder, guys, you
- 31:31Speaker 5: can catch everywhere Seahawks talking on Apple podcasts, Spotify, series XM,
