- 0:28Hey, everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:31So today we are talking about the power of thought and to
- 0:36create in detail. Recently I had a conversation
- 0:40with a client we were working on her goals for the year and I was
- 0:44like, OK, so let's talk about, you know, using your imagination
- 0:48and start envisioning things. Apparently she gets worked up
- 0:50about this too. Claudia, she's over there
- 0:53screaming at the top of her lungs, as you can all hear her
- 0:57anyway. So I said to her, can you please
- 0:59tell me, like, do you, when you start to envision things, what
- 1:02happens? And she said nothing, I can't.
- 1:04I I don't imagine things like that.
- 1:07I don't have an ability to see things in my head.
- 1:09I don't picture things. Now, For me, this is somewhat of
- 1:12a foreign concept because I can just stand here.
- 1:16I can while I'm talking to you. If I say something and I'm
- 1:19envisioning and like, if I say think of the beach, I can
- 1:21imagine the beach right away. I can see it in my head.
- 1:25I paint big pictures. I always have.
- 1:28That's why I spent a lot of time in trouble when I was a kid.
- 1:31Because you know the daydreamer syndrome.
- 1:33You're a daydreamer. You need to take her away from
- 1:35the window, put her in the corner.
- 1:37Yes, yes, All that happened and they still didn't squash my
- 1:41skill of being able to envision things.
- 1:44Now, for those of you who can't, this is what's really important
- 1:47to remember. It doesn't have to be visual in
- 1:52your head. I know this sounds crazy because
- 1:55everyone tells you it has to be visual, but the power to create
- 1:59and the power of thought to create in detail can be done
- 2:03different ways. It can be done in like I could
- 2:06sit there and paint it with a picture, but you could sit there
- 2:09and paint it with words. You could sit there and paint it
- 2:12with sound. You could sit there and paint it
- 2:15with the feeling of it. There are options, my friends.
- 2:19There are big options. And we don't get told this
- 2:22enough. Because if I just said to you,
- 2:25if let's say you say to me, I can't, this is just what I said
- 2:28to this client. If you can't envision it in your
- 2:30head as to what it would look like, what would it feel like?
- 2:33And she said to me and right away I knew that was the her
- 2:36thing. She's she tends to be very
- 2:38kinesthetic. So she feels things and feeling
- 2:42something like that, you tap into that.
- 2:44So what would it feel like if you were there?
- 2:47What would it feel like if it was in place?
- 2:50And right away she could describe the feeling to me.
- 2:52And that's what we need to tap into so you don't have to get
- 2:56yourself all upset that you can't do the visioning.
- 3:00I would suggest just because it's great when you work in
- 3:04groups of of modalities to help you.
- 3:07So you can have sound you can have, so you can listen, you
- 3:11could talk it out to yourself what it would look like, record
- 3:13it voice memos on your phone and then listen back to that
- 3:18recording. Absolutely.
- 3:19You can have the sounds, like, let's say it is an ocean thing
- 3:23and you want to hear the waves. You can listen, get a recording
- 3:26of waves and then you can listen to the waves coming in and out
- 3:29and that gives you that. OK, I'm there.
- 3:32The feeling of it, what would it feel like?
- 3:34You can write all those feelings down.
- 3:37You can record them back and listen to that yourself.
- 3:40Having the feeling, here's what I'm going to feel like when I'm
- 3:43there. Here's what a day is going to
- 3:44feel like. Here's what time is going to
- 3:46feel like. Here's what this project is
- 3:48going to feel like, whatever it is, But using the multiple
- 3:51modalities gives you options. Now back to the visual stuff.
- 3:56Do a vision board. I know it sounds wonky and
- 3:58crazy, and some people don't do them, but I'm really going to
- 4:02tell you they work. So if you are not a visual
- 4:05person and you can't do the visioning in your head, the
- 4:08vision board becomes even more important because it gives you
- 4:12the ability to actually do that function.
- 4:15It gives you what you want. So you can have multiple vision
- 4:18boards. You can have many vision boards.
- 4:20I have so many vision boards. It's crazy.
- 4:22But they give me the ability to walk and see them and be like,
- 4:26ah, every chicken that was purchased for this was on a
- 4:31vision board. Every single one of them, Every
- 4:34vegetable that I order is on a vision board, every flower is on
- 4:38vision boards because they give me that ability to then say, all
- 4:42right, yes, that is done, that is grown, that is gorgeous.
- 4:46That is exactly what I want. If you do that and you take it
- 4:49on in that sense and that way, I promise you, you will be blown
- 4:54away by how much more motivated, how much more inclined you are
- 4:59to be upbeat and moving into it. It is.
- 5:02It is so fun. Not only is it fun, but it's
- 5:07just so cool to see how your body responds when you change
- 5:11different things and you really pay attention to the modalities
- 5:13that you are in. And again, I am hyper visual,
- 5:18hyper visual, so it's hard for me to say that I don't need that
- 5:24one anymore because it would be a lie.
- 5:26I I I absolutely need it. No matter how much I use it, I
- 5:29still need it. However, I have trained myself
- 5:32to be better with the other modalities by using the more
- 5:35sound as well as feeling when I if I write something out and
- 5:40then I read it, or I've got all these flash cards to myself,
- 5:43flash cards are great. You can absolutely do them.
- 5:46They work. So find what helps you jump into
- 5:49it, get it underway. Because the power to create what
- 5:52you want this year is in the exercises that you do that we're
- 5:56just talking about. OK, my friends, have a blessed
- 5:59day and I'll see you tomorrow. Bye.
