- 0:53Speaker 1: Today not a weekend? Yes, a day.
- 0:57Speaker 6: Uh, y'all are converting everything into form five week plans.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It's just today.
- 1:02Speaker 6: It was just supposed to be today, the specialness of
- 1:06Speaker 6: the seventeenth of March, where a little green get you
- 1:12Speaker 6: a hot dog that has been colored with some green
- 1:16Speaker 6: coloring to look green. You know those kind of things
- 1:19Speaker 6: that relish to your sandwich. Do something. As you see
- 1:24Speaker 6: the crew here, Big Kenny has on a more of
- 1:26Speaker 6: an army green. I found a mountain dew t shirt.
- 1:29Speaker 6: I almost didn't have any green in my collection the
- 1:32Speaker 6: Bad Producer. He has a mix like he usually does,
- 1:36Speaker 6: but he does have a green undershirt and Commandchi Greg,
- 1:40Speaker 6: a rebel with a calls too black. He's always too
- 1:44Speaker 6: strong on the blackness. Too black. I'm too strong. I'm
- 1:49Speaker 6: talking about.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Hey, yo, chump, you losing a man. They don't need
- 1:55Speaker 1: to know what's.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Commandschi Greg, you know from the plains of Oklahoma. Uh,
- 2:02Speaker 6: right right on, brother, Also not Irish Jack. The revenue
- 2:08Speaker 6: Revolution will not be televised Black power Odabo? Yeah, are
- 2:12Speaker 6: you one of those people that you have to be
- 2:14Speaker 6: of a particular group to celebrate?
- 2:17Speaker 7: Uh, not necessarily, but like leaning in too much to it,
- 2:21Speaker 7: as like if I'm making if I'm throwing at Saint
- 2:26Speaker 7: Patrick's Day party or parade, that that would seem a
- 2:30Speaker 7: little odd.
- 2:32Speaker 1: M hmm.
- 2:33Speaker 7: I saw, because I'm not if it was sinkle to
- 2:37Speaker 7: my that would be odd coming from me.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Right now, right now now. And I don't mean to
- 2:43Speaker 2: I just say you can't do it, or that it's
- 2:45Speaker 2: round upon get it.
- 2:47Speaker 6: I get it if it was a religion, but I
- 2:51Speaker 6: don't get it if it's just something of a holiday that,
- 2:55Speaker 6: like most holidays set up in our country to make money,
- 2:58Speaker 6: so you only do which holiday?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Martin Luther King. I don't do anything on Markin Luther
- 3:05Speaker 1: king Day.
- 3:07Speaker 6: So you don't do holidays, you Jehovah Witness. We accept
- 3:11Speaker 6: all the creed. It's not that. What are you supposed
- 3:14Speaker 6: to do with Martin Luther King Day? Community service?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah? Where? Where? Where did you get that information? Because
- 3:21Speaker 1: the community in the community. You got to get in
- 3:24Speaker 1: the community. Get your green book up. They got a
- 3:27Speaker 1: new edition, a new edition of it. I get you
- 3:29Speaker 1: one too, though, too strong.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Good morning with you on this Monday. Before we get
- 3:41Speaker 2: into anything, you know, marsh Madness is here.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Uh, the table is set. Uh bad producer, you're going
- 3:48Speaker 6: to be up first, or get your thoughts ready? Oh yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 6: because someone hit me about this whole North Carolina thing
- 3:53Speaker 6: and how they got in the tournament.
- 3:55Speaker 8: Quick cry. I'm saying, whoever we're here, I'm happy.
- 4:00Speaker 1: He beat his chest. Did you hear? Did you hear?
- 4:03Speaker 1: You heard it on this sensitive expensive broadcast. It picks
- 4:09Speaker 1: up everything then you have it on the videos.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Okay, okay, but you heard beat his chest like he
- 4:20Speaker 2: like he coached at North Carolina. But I was watching
- 4:23Speaker 2: a little TV this weekend and I thought maybe because
- 4:30Speaker 2: you know, technology is so linked for someone like me,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I get scared when certain things come on because I'm
- 4:37Speaker 2: thinking I got hacked because I'm watching the program. It
- 4:40Speaker 2: was a show called Reacher on Prime Video and I
- 4:46Speaker 2: hadn't caught it.
- 4:47Speaker 6: And first of all, this is a series, not the series,
- 4:50Speaker 6: a series, not the movie. And I had forgotten that
- 4:55Speaker 6: Prime because when Prime first started, they didn't show commercials all.
- 5:00Speaker 6: All of this stuff was just you know, like kind
- 5:02Speaker 6: of like Hulu that just went through. Now they show
- 5:05Speaker 6: commercials and during watching Reacher, it goes to break And
- 5:09Speaker 6: the only reason it kept in my mind because almost
- 5:12Speaker 6: each in every commercial break they had, they were running
- 5:17Speaker 6: an ad for dude wipes. Are you guys into the
- 5:22Speaker 6: dude wipes?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Now?
- 5:24Speaker 6: The only thing I didn't get about the dude wipes,
- 5:27Speaker 6: and dude wipes are supposed to be sanitary wipes that
- 5:30Speaker 6: they already sell. You can get them in the big
- 5:33Speaker 6: bulk if you go to Sam's or Costcos and flushable
- 5:37Speaker 6: wipes if you're one of those people who like that
- 5:40Speaker 6: extra comfort, extra.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And that extra comfort.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Can afford it, because I think we'd all like a
- 5:47Speaker 2: little extra comfort.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But you know, check out but I couldn't. They kept
- 5:53Speaker 1: saying they were exercise wipes, and.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I kept thinking, most women, I see that their butts
- 6:00Speaker 2: are jess as big.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It's my butt Like men, we you know, we might
- 6:05Speaker 1: have big.
- 6:05Speaker 6: Bags, big head, big feet, you know, big hands, but
- 6:09Speaker 6: you know, when it comes to wide loads, recking, I
- 6:15Speaker 6: think men and women are.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Equally in the width.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, so you know because she can be
- 6:21Speaker 2: one eighty, yes.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But have a lower body like she's two forty. Yes
- 6:26Speaker 1: she can, you know.
- 6:27Speaker 6: And that's like a man, but he will have little legs, right,
- 6:31Speaker 6: he's two fifty, but he's he has no legs to him, right, nothing?
- 6:36Speaker 1: So I kept thinking, why the dude?
- 6:40Speaker 6: First of all, it's terrible name. Dude dude wipes. Passed me? Hey, man,
- 6:46Speaker 6: bring me a pack of them, dude wipe. You know
- 6:48Speaker 6: why they named them up. You don't ask someone to
- 6:51Speaker 6: pass you the dude wipes. You have to buy them
- 6:54Speaker 6: in secret. And you know why they call you said,
- 6:57Speaker 6: she was running up to the store store, bring me powerful.
- 7:01Speaker 6: How you going, I don't act weird about.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It, don't be weird about it. Just grab me some
- 7:08Speaker 2: wipes for my private dude. Have have y'all seen that.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't. I've just
- 7:15Speaker 2: seen the commercial and the reason that their name dude
- 7:19Speaker 2: wipes is because they're created by some company that usually
- 7:23Speaker 2: makes this stuff for women, and they have a bunch
- 7:25Speaker 2: of women on.
- 7:26Speaker 1: The board who didn't. Let's name them dude wipes.
- 7:29Speaker 6: It sounds cool, So it was named dou wipe to
- 7:31Speaker 6: promote men to Yeah, you could just outside, you could
- 7:37Speaker 6: just call them.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Wipes, because that's that's what the women use, just wipes,
- 7:41Speaker 1: just for men to be comfortable with getting there.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Because in reverse, if it was something that was promoted
- 7:48Speaker 6: to men off the top, women would have come in
- 7:53Speaker 6: like you need.
- 7:54Speaker 1: To get rid of the dude.
- 7:55Speaker 2: The dude park right right and just call them wipes,
- 7:58Speaker 2: or way they did with beer and all other products
- 8:02Speaker 2: that were it's a man's No, well.
- 8:04Speaker 1: They don't want it.
- 8:05Speaker 6: They don't want it to be called manhole cover, right,
- 8:08Speaker 6: it's just a cover in the street, street cover.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Now it's a whole cover something like that. But so,
- 8:16Speaker 1: but you guys are onto the dude. Are you a
- 8:18Speaker 1: dude white person.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I'm a god's tissue. No, I'm a flushable wipes person.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I haven't elevated to dude wipes.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But you're flushable? Yeah? Is that hemorrhoids or.
- 8:30Speaker 2: You just I'm just uh a person who likes that
- 8:34Speaker 2: extra bit of comfort, sir.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Extra comfort. You're extra comfort guy.
- 8:38Speaker 7: Extra comfort. Don't have to don't have to get the
- 8:41Speaker 7: dude wipes because it's.
- 8:43Speaker 2: All then I can get some dude.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I am scared.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Is the dude white supposed to put the the little
- 8:54Speaker 6: water flush steam?
- 8:55Speaker 1: What is that called the but day out of business?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Do they sell? They still sell the day? But that's.
- 9:03Speaker 7: I thought that the dude wipes I think in secret
- 9:07Speaker 7: in some way, that's the same with the bidet.
- 9:09Speaker 8: Even more so, why would why would be for a woman?
- 9:13Speaker 8: I said, I didn't say it was. I said I
- 9:15Speaker 8: thought that that was full one because like you said,
- 9:19Speaker 8: I'm just gonna use regular toilet paper. As a man,
- 9:23Speaker 8: I don't see no reason getting over them. He doesn't
- 9:25Speaker 8: believe in extra comfort.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Scott.
- 9:28Speaker 8: If you it's got, it's called Scott's tissue. There is
- 9:30Speaker 8: the best out there to be, you know, one of them.
- 9:33Speaker 8: I never thought that bedets were for women. I always
- 9:36Speaker 8: thought that bedets were for rich women. But still for
- 9:40Speaker 8: a woman, I'm saying you just can't.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Just None of the women in my neighborhood had no
- 9:47Speaker 2: but uh my rich auntie had them all over the house,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and you thought they were for rich people, rich white people.
- 9:57Speaker 6: The day I thought was I thought it was a
- 9:59Speaker 6: European thing, uh that had fallen into the American yeah
- 10:04Speaker 6: culture a little bit.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah. I never thought it was just for women at all.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's just a little comfort comfort thing. Yeah, okay, so
- 10:15Speaker 2: do white outside of the name, is there any other
- 10:20Speaker 2: draw for men in the dude wipe?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Is it scented like a man? It said it was.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It said it was a little wider.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Oh okay, I guess trying to but that part of
- 10:32Speaker 2: us I didn't know it was wider.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I mean, so maybe it's wider for the hand.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I don't maybe to keep the hand from slipping. I mean,
- 10:43Speaker 2: it doesn't have like a grizzly bear on the pack.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I'm saying I was just bringing black.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Too black the package because have you seen have you
- 10:58Speaker 1: seen the man dough?
- 10:59Speaker 2: It's it's a it's a man spray for seventy two
- 11:03Speaker 2: hour older control like.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Usually were called wash.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I'm saying we would usually just take a shower now,
- 11:12Speaker 2: ye seventy.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Five feet don't backpacking. Usually when they show it people out.
- 11:20Speaker 2: In the wheeld Okay, yeah, something like that, Okay, because
- 11:24Speaker 2: I can't think.
- 11:25Speaker 6: They have they tried this around bears, because it might
- 11:27Speaker 6: bring bears around or something.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Like a human. You gotta keep that's smelling fresh. He smell.
- 11:35Speaker 2: He don't smell like eve been sitting out long at all.
- 11:40Speaker 1: That's very fresh. We'll be back.

- 15:44Speaker 1: Welcome back to this what shock? Shout up? This what shock? Wayne?
- 15:47Speaker 1: Can Dan come at your gray? Bad news?
- 15:49Speaker 6: A mcguinea out in the studio this morning. Incident that
- 15:53Speaker 6: we talked about last week has jumped up in the
- 15:56Speaker 6: media cycle again over the weekend. The Virginia teen who
- 16:01Speaker 6: was bashing the opponent over the head with the baton
- 16:05Speaker 6: during a high school track meet. She held a rally
- 16:10Speaker 6: a couple of days ago to reiterate her innocence. She
- 16:15Speaker 6: has been charged with misdemeanor battery and assault, which I
- 16:20Speaker 6: never get the part where battery and assault can be
- 16:26Speaker 6: mistermeanor because I don't get the part where battery in
- 16:33Speaker 6: assault can be misdemeanor, either I touched you to create
- 16:38Speaker 6: the battery or I did not touch you.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I don't get where it.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Becomes a mistermeanor But that's a story for another day.
- 16:50Speaker 6: Miss Eliah Everett is the young lady who hit the
- 16:58Speaker 6: track other teams tray remember over the head. She had
- 17:02Speaker 6: a rally. Dozens of people were in attending. I didn't
- 17:06Speaker 6: and still don't, and please real quickly, we don't have
- 17:09Speaker 6: to stay on his own all day. If you have
- 17:12Speaker 6: seen the video out there, I'm trying to search where
- 17:17Speaker 6: she can claim that she is innocen and what she
- 17:22Speaker 6: did wasn't intentional. I've watched the video three or four
- 17:26Speaker 6: times and I don't get where that claim can be
- 17:30Speaker 6: derived from gentlemen, if you saw the video, can you
- 17:34Speaker 6: tell me how she came up with the part that
- 17:38Speaker 6: it was not an intentional act.
- 17:40Speaker 8: The only video that additional video I saw was I
- 17:44Speaker 8: don't know if it was a track coach or maybe
- 17:45Speaker 8: her father explaining if you look at her stride and
- 17:50Speaker 8: how the track is leaning and she's running and she
- 17:53Speaker 8: had to catch a balance, and that's all I'm hearing
- 17:56Speaker 8: is for is they're trying to explain and in other words,
- 17:58Speaker 8: they're trying to put the fundamentals of track, of like
- 18:01Speaker 8: how you run and the balance of the track and
- 18:04Speaker 8: how going in each other's lane.
- 18:07Speaker 1: They're trying to.
- 18:09Speaker 8: Add that in the into it to say that she
- 18:11Speaker 8: didn't do wasn't intentional because of how track is, how
- 18:16Speaker 8: you run with your stride, and how you lane slopes,
- 18:21Speaker 8: and she was in this motion running and it looks
- 18:24Speaker 8: like she was trying to hit her.
- 18:25Speaker 1: So that's the only thing.
- 18:26Speaker 8: And I'm still trying to figure out whenever watch that,
- 18:29Speaker 8: explain that to me, how's this sports?
- 18:32Speaker 1: And see what it is.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I have a a friend who's a professional track coach,
- 18:37Speaker 2: and what you just said, she trying to explain the
- 18:40Speaker 2: lanes and all of that what they call that. Professional
- 18:43Speaker 2: track coaches call that cap.
- 18:47Speaker 1: That's all that cap.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Okay, because there's no way that I bumped you and
- 18:53Speaker 2: then it caused me to hit you in the back
- 18:54Speaker 2: of the head three times with the batonia.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I was gonna say, what happened? What about the second blow?
- 18:58Speaker 2: I'm saying now all it is doing to jail? Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 2: that ain't a little track. And I got stuck in
- 19:03Speaker 2: my arm and then all of a sudden kluk and
- 19:06Speaker 2: now hold on, that kind of looked like a hit.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Are we cluck?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Oh?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a hit. Kept saying, you know, she capping,
- 19:13Speaker 1: that's all she doing? Magic? Greg, did do you see
- 19:15Speaker 1: the video? And looking at it?
- 19:21Speaker 2: He gonna get scientific? This is how you go to jail,
- 19:23Speaker 2: just how you when the commanding Greg the video? There
- 19:26Speaker 2: is you going to that guy on inside Miami?
- 19:29Speaker 1: Huh?
- 19:31Speaker 7: There there is intention because like if even if in
- 19:34Speaker 7: the turn, if they're trying to use science, who has
- 19:39Speaker 7: who's winding up?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Time?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Did you did you hear? Did you hear? Did you
- 19:43Speaker 1: hear the condescensic way? He said?
- 19:46Speaker 2: If they're trying to use science, see that that's what
- 19:49Speaker 2: when you give your father when you get it when
- 19:52Speaker 2: you give your command. Greggs a look somebody going to jail.
- 19:58Speaker 2: He even used words like intent. I said, yeah, I
- 20:02Speaker 2: would be. I mean, I don't know. I would have
- 20:07Speaker 2: better have been off with an excuse of apology and
- 20:14Speaker 2: that I just simply panicked. And I can draw it
- 20:19Speaker 2: up under that, Not that it's right, but I can
- 20:22Speaker 2: give you some kind of fight or flight. Somebody passed
- 20:28Speaker 2: you and that's how you reacted. From the standpoint, we've
- 20:31Speaker 2: seen people get passed, bump the other runner or try
- 20:36Speaker 2: to trip them, so we could have put it in that,
- 20:39Speaker 2: but to try to claim innocence and come up with
- 20:43Speaker 2: some theory about how the bowl of the track was
- 20:47Speaker 2: at an angle that pushed you to rear your right
- 20:50Speaker 2: arm back and slap somebody across the head two times.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I don't even know why the other the people at
- 20:57Speaker 2: the rally should be have charges press against it.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Now, Now what I can't imagine.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I can't imagine that The most outrageous part about all
- 21:07Speaker 2: of this isn't that this young athlete did something goofy.
- 21:13Speaker 2: It's that her parents are now supporting her wholeheartedly all
- 21:18Speaker 2: in the media in her goofiness.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Correct they're having rallies, they're doing.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Talk show appearances, and it's to me, it seems like
- 21:30Speaker 2: an erosion of some sort of fundamental foundation of a family.
- 21:36Speaker 2: When we can all support this level of BS from
- 21:41Speaker 2: our child. It's just I don't understand why someone isn't
- 21:46Speaker 2: coming forward and go girl, you know you need.
- 21:48Speaker 1: To do battle and then we just lead and move
- 21:51Speaker 1: it forward, and we just all go forward. Right there.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Bill Belichick has requested that his girlfriend be included on
- 21:59Speaker 6: the you and she emails.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I don't know what part of the news is this.
- 22:07Speaker 8: Well, in the beginning of the season, I mean right
- 22:09Speaker 8: when he first hit the job, but he asked them
- 22:11Speaker 8: to be included on all work emails. Only thing I
- 22:14Speaker 8: can imagine that he's I mean, he just basically want
- 22:17Speaker 8: to have a second eye knowing that she this.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Is her thing she likes.
- 22:20Speaker 7: So why is it in the media It was released
- 22:23Speaker 7: too that people like whatever happens not between them, that
- 22:28Speaker 7: people It's like it gets sire thinking about the age
- 22:31Speaker 7: gap and how they met and how she she was
- 22:35Speaker 7: in the super Bowl commercial and it's it's basically just
- 22:39Speaker 7: too uh, it's keeping her in the in the news cycle.
- 22:44Speaker 8: Well, but at the same time I look at it
- 22:47Speaker 8: to him, he genuinely he probably was, I need her
- 22:50Speaker 8: to look at the emails. But then, like like Swortshock said,
- 22:53Speaker 8: someone just released it. They thought it was like, hey,
- 22:55Speaker 8: let's put this up.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Well, they're still reporting it in a way as I
- 22:58Speaker 6: spoke a couple of weeks ago, I still feel is
- 23:04Speaker 6: wrong because at this point we're supposed to just moved
- 23:08Speaker 6: on to Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordan Hudson. We
- 23:13Speaker 6: no longer need you to in every headline and put
- 23:16Speaker 6: her age or his age, or the difference in their
- 23:20Speaker 6: age or none of that, because that's what you keep
- 23:24Speaker 6: focusing on, as though you're you're dissatisfied with that, whoever
- 23:32Speaker 6: you are. That's that's the part that seems to be getting,
- 23:34Speaker 6: not that he likes her and she likes him, and
- 23:37Speaker 6: you seem to have a problem, so you want to
- 23:40Speaker 6: keep the age differential in the story to suit your issues.
- 23:48Speaker 6: That's not good reporting to me. We'll be back more
- 23:52Speaker 6: to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 23:54Speaker 15: Tell me, why is it when I walk past the
- 23:56Speaker 15: guy always here your baby?
- 23:57Speaker 2: I mean, like, what's the big I gent, I'm a queen,
- 24:00Speaker 2: do not respect you'd be like a lady and no
- 24:02Speaker 2: money mean yo, Can I got you baby?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Don't bow away?
- 24:07Speaker 11: Or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Danbridius coming
- 24:10Speaker 11: up next.

- 26:38Speaker 20: Knock putu winck, putu.
- 26:43Speaker 9: Win up the sex and a.
- 26:51Speaker 6: H win Welcome back to this spot shop pleas this
- 26:58Speaker 6: boy shock show. I'm just for Douck, Wayne Gandhy, Good
- 27:01Speaker 6: morning to you out there. Former Major League Baseball player
- 27:06Speaker 6: Mo Vaughn confirms that late in his career he used
- 27:11Speaker 6: HGH in his career, I bring this up. We saw
- 27:15Speaker 6: just maybe eight ten days ago, Adam Jones talk about
- 27:19Speaker 6: how he skirted around the league's policy. Should these leagues
- 27:25Speaker 6: establish of removing these gentlemen different accolades? Should like pac
- 27:34Speaker 6: Man hit whatever Pro Bowls or whatever defense or special team,
- 27:38Speaker 6: should mov On's whatever All Star? Should that be something
- 27:45Speaker 6: these leagues start putting on the table in conversations.
- 27:49Speaker 1: After they leave.
- 27:50Speaker 8: No, I don't think if you didn't catch them right then,
- 27:52Speaker 8: if you wasn't able to get it then, And I
- 27:54Speaker 8: don't think so, because that makes me think there's a
- 27:57Speaker 8: lot more out there that was doing it, and they
- 28:00Speaker 8: just and and if we're willing to go with them,
- 28:02Speaker 8: we're gonna have to really do a research and go
- 28:04Speaker 8: at the everyone that's.
- 28:05Speaker 1: So I should get away with cheating. I'm not saying
- 28:07Speaker 1: getting you're getting away with it.
- 28:09Speaker 8: I'm just saying that there's if they if it was
- 28:12Speaker 8: able for them to do it, They're not the only ones.
- 28:16Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying.
- 28:17Speaker 6: This had nothing to do with the only one, sir,
- 28:24Speaker 6: This has nothing to do with to on the one.
- 28:25Speaker 6: But you decided whatever it was in you, you needed
- 28:27Speaker 6: to confess. And just like any other rule, you want
- 28:33Speaker 6: me to be able to do something to you, and
- 28:37Speaker 6: no matter if, as long as I get away with it,
- 28:40Speaker 6: I can tell you I did it.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Now and see this is the thing. No, No, I
- 28:45Speaker 1: want to make sure I got that part right from
- 28:47Speaker 1: this gentleman right here. Statue. That not what he's saying. Yeah, well,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I want to paraphrase you.
- 28:53Speaker 8: That's what you're saying, ain't I mean, I'm thinking after
- 28:56Speaker 8: so long statue of limitations as far as like, I mean,
- 28:59Speaker 8: how long am I only been out?
- 29:00Speaker 1: He's been out what eight nine years now? The league?
- 29:05Speaker 1: He's probably be on the league maybe twenty years, twenty
- 29:07Speaker 1: well more. I'm thinking, pac Man. But excuse me, I'm sorry, but.
- 29:12Speaker 8: I'm just saying that at this at some point in time,
- 29:14Speaker 8: and we know that there's drug U said, uh, performance
- 29:20Speaker 8: enhancing on all levels of all sports. They have some
- 29:24Speaker 8: that's been caught, some haven't been caught. You you got
- 29:26Speaker 8: caught and then you get suspended. You have to pay
- 29:29Speaker 8: the price for it. Them confessing it coming out like
- 29:32Speaker 8: you say. I always say, I don't know why you
- 29:34Speaker 8: want to confess this now. Should have just kept it
- 29:36Speaker 8: to yourself. But there's who It makes me think there's
- 29:40Speaker 8: more marriage.
- 29:42Speaker 7: I think it comes down to is it a is
- 29:44Speaker 7: it worth the effort from as far as with mo Vaughn,
- 29:48Speaker 7: is it worth the effort from Major League Baseball to
- 29:50Speaker 7: do that because he wanted MVP? Do you take that
- 29:54Speaker 7: away now? Yes, m but what what would be there
- 30:00Speaker 7: to be some parameters established for that? And when it
- 30:03Speaker 7: was just using it said like based on him saying it,
- 30:05Speaker 7: or could that means just take it? I think that
- 30:08Speaker 7: there would be there would have to be a process
- 30:11Speaker 7: to to do something like that. But I will say
- 30:13Speaker 7: that with him confess it now, it may ultimately not
- 30:20Speaker 7: be worth the effort. It may not matter as much.
- 30:22Speaker 7: He's not he's not going into the Hall of Fame. Uh,
- 30:26Speaker 7: he's not involved with I don't believe he's involved with them.
- 30:30Speaker 2: If I google, if I google Major League Baseball MVP,
- 30:37Speaker 2: he pops up.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Now and he won over someone. There was somebody that
- 30:45Speaker 6: came in second. And you're saying that year that that
- 30:52Speaker 6: was your twin brother who played for you. So you
- 30:56Speaker 6: didn't even play that year. You send your twin brother,
- 30:59Speaker 6: remember the case did that in the boxing ring. That's
- 31:05Speaker 6: similar to that, So that ain't even you. So I
- 31:10Speaker 6: can beat you at a DJ contest and you're saying,
- 31:13Speaker 6: I sent a robot. Ten years later, you know how
- 31:16Speaker 6: I sent my robot to beat you, and you cool
- 31:20Speaker 6: with that because I got away with it, So I
- 31:23Speaker 6: get to keep all that prize money.
- 31:25Speaker 1: And see now and that kind of stuff.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Sports jock, this is the thing that as much as
- 31:30Speaker 2: sports is entertainment, it's also business, and in business transactions
- 31:35Speaker 2: that would be called illegal business transactions. You cheated, You
- 31:41Speaker 2: knowingly skirted around the rules. You took something that you
- 31:45Speaker 2: knew you weren't supposed to take.
- 31:46Speaker 1: You mastered it.
- 31:48Speaker 2: That was deliberate and intentional. You went through willful channels
- 31:53Speaker 2: to conceal all of that stuff get people sent to
- 31:57Speaker 2: prison in other parts of the world. You got endorsements
- 32:01Speaker 2: and pay as a result of your lyne. The teachers
- 32:04Speaker 2: in Georgia went to jail for that. They got bonuses
- 32:08Speaker 2: by lying and cheating on the tests. When they cheated
- 32:10Speaker 2: on those tests and got caught, they were prosecuted and
- 32:13Speaker 2: sent to jail. People who are doing this just because
- 32:17Speaker 2: you got away with it for a long time. They
- 32:20Speaker 2: they're gonna put statute of limitations on it. They may
- 32:23Speaker 2: put some legal and punitive damages on it. They may
- 32:28Speaker 2: start taking it. Will be in process to to do
- 32:31Speaker 2: that retroactively.
- 32:33Speaker 1: They need will they need to keep your mouth shut.
- 32:36Speaker 7: It would be on Major League Baseball determine if that
- 32:39Speaker 7: is worth the effort this is I'm not I'm not
- 32:43Speaker 7: saying that. I'm not putting it on Major League Baseball.
- 32:46Speaker 7: I'm just having a conversation between the gentleman in this room. Yes,
- 32:51Speaker 7: of various backgrounds, sometimes you don't have to go to
- 32:55Speaker 7: Major League Baseball.
- 32:57Speaker 6: Basically asking should lead if you we were a league
- 33:05Speaker 6: and someone is basically admitting that during their tenure they
- 33:13Speaker 6: broke the rule, there shouldn't be.
- 33:20Speaker 2: All that performance bonus money got to come back. They
- 33:24Speaker 2: got the bonuses honestually for you winning the MVP and
- 33:28Speaker 2: me not winning it.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 33:30Speaker 6: It didn't trigger my million and a half dollar bonus.
- 33:35Speaker 6: So I'm sitting here. I came in number two. If
- 33:37Speaker 6: I won MVP that year, I got a million and
- 33:39Speaker 6: a half dollars.
- 33:40Speaker 1: ABT Bell, you.
- 33:43Speaker 6: Got everything, and now you're saying you cheated, and he's saying,
- 33:46Speaker 6: since we didn't catch you, everything is kumbay y'ah.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I want my million and a half because you vacated
- 33:54Speaker 2: your wins.
- 33:54Speaker 1: So that's why I asked him.
- 33:55Speaker 6: So someone that does something against him, long as they
- 34:00Speaker 6: never get caught, they can confess. They can confess, and
- 34:07Speaker 6: he just had to always be that way. That's a
- 34:12Speaker 6: real rule to think about. I'm not with that, I
- 34:15Speaker 6: guess because I'm a competitor. And sure, I know guys
- 34:18Speaker 6: was doing this and that and fine, but you don't
- 34:21Speaker 6: get to get out.
- 34:24Speaker 1: And then say.
- 34:26Speaker 6: I got away with it. What you're gonna do now?
- 34:30Speaker 6: I mean a lot of people, and that's what it
- 34:32Speaker 6: seems like you're doing. And that was all I was asking,
- 34:39Speaker 6: So your vote would be more of he got away
- 34:43Speaker 6: with it. Let it be it's thirty years later, mainly
- 34:49Speaker 6: because it ain't affecting your pocket or your stats. And
- 34:53Speaker 6: that's why you don't make rules based on the sensibilities.
- 34:56Speaker 6: You have to make them as though you.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Were the guy. The second guy.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because I want mine, because every dude that
- 35:05Speaker 2: cheated and kept would want to keep the bonus money,
- 35:07Speaker 2: you know, and everybody that can.
- 35:09Speaker 6: Fascinated I found if I found out we played the
- 35:12Speaker 6: championship in high school against twenty guys that were not
- 35:16Speaker 6: even that were twenty two years old, we're not even
- 35:19Speaker 6: at the school.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I want my state championship back. I don't care what
- 35:23Speaker 1: year it is. Then you need to give that up.
- 35:31Speaker 1: But I just I just wonder.
- 35:33Speaker 2: It was something I saw and I kept thinking. So
- 35:36Speaker 2: there's no ramifications to anybody.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Just then only.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Can I say this, look at look at the Weinsteins,
- 35:46Speaker 2: Look at all of those cases where those things were.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Look at Bill Cosby.
- 35:51Speaker 2: We're talking about decades old where something happened that we
- 35:56Speaker 2: said was cool and nobody knew about it until the
- 36:00Speaker 2: secret came out. And when the secret came out, it
- 36:03Speaker 2: was still a crime, and we still gonna hold you accountable.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Just because it's sports, they let it slide.
- 36:10Speaker 2: These things are illegal with sports and life and they're
- 36:15Speaker 2: letting it slide because it's sports, that's all I'm saying.
- 36:18Speaker 8: Well, I'm just and let's look back that year and
- 36:22Speaker 8: Vaughn won ninety five, he was with the Boston Red Sox.
- 36:26Speaker 8: Alberbell finished second. Can we say that Alberbel wasn't that friendly?
- 36:31Speaker 1: Don't We don't do that.
- 36:32Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, we don't do that here on
- 36:34Speaker 2: the sports keep telling you you need to go get
- 36:37Speaker 2: a job on first take.
- 36:40Speaker 1: We don't do that.
- 36:41Speaker 6: What we do is we go with the person that's talking.
- 36:45Speaker 6: We illuminated that we don't know who cheated, but we
- 36:49Speaker 6: do know Mo Vaughn said he did, right he did.
- 36:52Speaker 1: He said he cheated. I know he said. I don't know.
- 36:55Speaker 8: We don't know what Alberbel did. What I'm saying is
- 36:59Speaker 8: that it's allegedly. But what I'm saying is, and I'm
- 37:02Speaker 8: not saying, Ababel Chiefs. What I was making this statement
- 37:05Speaker 8: to is that Mo Vaughn was more media friendly at
- 37:08Speaker 8: that time in ninety five than the person that finished
- 37:11Speaker 8: runner up.
- 37:12Speaker 1: And you would more people would probably would have said
- 37:14Speaker 1: the media friendly. And so they call that speculation.
- 37:18Speaker 8: Yeah, we didn't know it. But I'm just saying, but
- 37:22Speaker 8: we didn't know he was on the stair, we would
- 37:23Speaker 8: just look at it. That's something that movaanne. I never
- 37:26Speaker 8: would have thought that movaughn was using enhancements. But if
- 37:29Speaker 8: someone would have said Albabel, I would have said, yeah,
- 37:32Speaker 8: well and and that's my point. I'm saying that maybe
- 37:35Speaker 8: sometimes we look at the person we think is the
- 37:38Speaker 8: ones that are innocent actually are guilty.
- 37:40Speaker 1: My point is this what is all to have to
- 37:43Speaker 1: do with confession. That's what I'm saying.
- 37:44Speaker 2: I make it unattractive to confess. If you confess, we
- 37:49Speaker 2: take it back. If you got away with it and
- 37:52Speaker 2: ride on for the thirty years, and we don't only
- 37:54Speaker 2: take it back, we take a back. We take back
- 37:57Speaker 2: whatever finance came, all the bonuses, all that got them,

- 41:52Speaker 6: Most decisions you're making is going to be made from
- 41:55Speaker 6: one of the two, emotional or logic. Just go from
- 42:03Speaker 6: that logically. Albabelle admitting that he cheated should disqualify at

- 42:53Speaker 6: ain't cool with it no more.
- 42:56Speaker 1: And those are the rules.
- 42:57Speaker 6: I try not to fall into commands where it just
- 43:01Speaker 6: benefits me, because I understand there's other people that walks around.
- 43:04Speaker 6: That's what makes it a planet. And I don't want
- 43:07Speaker 6: to put some and rule just because I'm not walking
- 43:10Speaker 6: down that road. I'm talking about your grandson losing the
- 43:14Speaker 6: Olympic medal and then ten years, ten years later somebody
- 43:20Speaker 6: writing a book, Hey yeah, man, that twenty forty Atlanta
- 43:25Speaker 6: Olympic man I was.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I'm talking about you stuff. I'm talking about the club
- 43:29Speaker 2: that has you cheat you out of seventeen dollars per
- 43:33Speaker 2: gig for fourteen years and you do four gigs a
- 43:39Speaker 2: month with them, and at the end of fourteen years
- 43:42Speaker 2: you do that math and be like they stole that

- 43:49Speaker 2: for about eight g's command you, Greg, but I mean
- 43:52Speaker 2: you good. Now, you one of the best DJ's, most
- 43:55Speaker 2: celebrity DJs. You don't need that little bit of money.
- 43:59Speaker 2: You wouldn't want your money back when it's proven Dave
- 44:02Speaker 2: admitted that they stole.
- 44:04Speaker 1: That money from you. They owed it to you, they
- 44:06Speaker 1: just didn't give it to.
- 44:07Speaker 6: They were supposed to pay for your right mother father's
- 44:12Speaker 6: operation back when y'all lost your house having it. But
- 44:17Speaker 6: the insurance company said, yeah, man, any heart surgery back
- 44:21Speaker 6: in twenty twenty four.
- 44:22Speaker 1: They ain't ask about it. We got away with it.
- 44:24Speaker 1: You it ain't asked about it. We ain't got it.
- 44:26Speaker 1: We ain't gotta cover that, So you.
- 44:28Speaker 6: Ain't going to get your money either. I just want
- 44:30Speaker 6: to know what extent are y'all okay with the let
- 44:34Speaker 6: that ride, and what when you want yours back? And
- 44:39Speaker 6: that's what I'm asking this guy, because when we get
- 44:43Speaker 6: to these conversations, he's always with this brush it off.
- 44:48Speaker 6: But I got so much I could go with him
- 44:50Speaker 6: that if you make it personal, because if I know
- 44:55Speaker 6: you use some kind of electronic ball on whole eighteen
- 45:02Speaker 6: for the Players Championship for twenty five million, and I
- 45:06Speaker 6: find out if you confess, Hey man, you know when
- 45:08Speaker 6: I won that twenty five million over you, I used
- 45:12Speaker 6: the little electronic ball to get to the whole.
- 45:14Speaker 2: And I don't care if I'm the golfer of the league.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to get mine back. I need mine Now.
- 45:20Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be like, what, run my bread.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I'm saying, run the money I should have won, and
- 45:25Speaker 2: then you the money that you won, run it by.
- 45:28Speaker 6: And he sounds like he's just gonna walk. And I
- 45:31Speaker 6: know him personally, he's an emotional man. He'd be the
- 45:34Speaker 6: first one he would jog down to the courthouse.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And just imagine that him running. That's how serious.
- 45:43Speaker 6: But on this since he's not in it, and he
- 45:45Speaker 6: wants to keep coming up with different scenarios that make
- 45:48Speaker 6: no And that's why I asked shit the leagues with
- 45:51Speaker 6: these guys pac Man said he got.
- 45:53Speaker 2: He intentionally cheated. He never went into a drug test.
- 45:58Speaker 2: It's not that they fail yield as much as he conspired.
- 46:05Speaker 2: He never went into a drug test with his own urine.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And you saying we should.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Keep all the all the accolades, and this is.
- 46:16Speaker 7: The thing has to be enough people to look at
- 46:18Speaker 7: it as I mean it is literally a rule violation.
- 46:23Speaker 7: But to look at it more as a crime.
- 46:28Speaker 1: It is a crime towards the league's ruleble.
- 46:31Speaker 2: It's not looked at as like I just cried sports,
- 46:36Speaker 2: let it slide. I can't go I can't go into
- 46:41Speaker 2: my corporate job with some fake urine. I mean, first
- 46:47Speaker 2: of all, the process to even get some viable fake urine,
- 46:52Speaker 2: it's called a conspiracy. That's conspiracy. I have to go
- 46:57Speaker 2: to something to acquire something, to get around and established
- 47:02Speaker 2: that we didn't mess up. That's in itself a crime.
- 47:06Speaker 2: We didn't mess up the batch of urine. This didn't
- 47:08Speaker 2: go to the wrong test place. You didn't even come
- 47:12Speaker 2: in here with your urine. The fact that I passed
- 47:15Speaker 2: the test and you're saying what since he was able
- 47:20Speaker 2: to get around all that, everything should just say how
- 47:23Speaker 2: it is.
- 47:23Speaker 7: And me getting on the team made me eighteen million
- 47:27Speaker 7: for to to get back whatever money from for all that.
- 47:32Speaker 7: I don't think there's enough people because we're with you
- 47:35Speaker 7: asking about the leagues, there's not enough people seeing it as.
- 47:40Speaker 1: As like the violation that it is. It's not being
- 47:43Speaker 1: seen for what it actually is.
- 47:45Speaker 8: And maybe he can help them now catch that way
- 47:48Speaker 8: to show how he'd help out with going forward on.
- 47:51Speaker 7: Catching because they're trying to find ways around it. And yeah,
- 47:55Speaker 7: it may be years later, but people are letting it
- 47:59Speaker 7: slide because it's not a it's not a big deal.
- 48:02Speaker 7: But I didn't say I said should they from this point? Well,
- 48:06Speaker 7: all you can start is now, you can't go back. Now,
- 48:09Speaker 7: the NFL go forward that way if you're gonna come
- 48:13Speaker 7: out if we whenever we find out.
- 48:15Speaker 6: And that's all I was trying to ask. But I
- 48:17Speaker 6: see you and the BA producer are more you know
- 48:20Speaker 6: that it really which is fine because that's makes that's
- 48:24Speaker 6: how we work.
- 48:24Speaker 2: And really quick, let me say this, Now that people
- 48:27Speaker 2: are confessing, we're about to start seeing cheating as entertainment
- 48:31Speaker 2: in documentaries and uh movies, the same way we see crime.
- 48:36Speaker 2: People came out confessing all their drug murders and drug trafficking,
- 48:40Speaker 2: and now they got movies and series about these people.
- 48:44Speaker 2: And these people committed federal crimes and murders that they
- 48:47Speaker 2: served time for and ruin many lives, but we celebrated
- 48:53Speaker 2: in film and music and all of that stuff. And
- 48:56Speaker 2: we'll see that in sports pretty soon. The cheating years,
- 48:59Speaker 2: I just want to Yeah, I'm just making sure Grig
- 49:01Speaker 2: because I know he's too old and too said in
- 49:04Speaker 2: his ways, but I feel like you young, and I
- 49:06Speaker 2: just put in your mind.
- 49:07Speaker 6: I'm not trying to change it. I'm just trying to
- 49:10Speaker 6: put in your mind that if you put a million
- 49:13Speaker 6: dollars on the fight tonight and you find out five
- 49:17Speaker 6: years after the fight you lost a million, but five
- 49:19Speaker 6: years after the guy said he was on some of
- 49:21Speaker 6: that bang juice that night, you just gonna sit there like, oh.
- 49:28Speaker 2: The cheating is fine. No, I'm gonna shoot him and
- 49:30Speaker 2: the boxing Federation. I might not ever win, but I'm
- 49:34Speaker 2: gonna put it into existence.
- 49:39Speaker 1: That it happened.
- 49:42Speaker 6: Mo Vaughn want some stuff like Big Kenny said he
- 49:45Speaker 6: gained some financial gain and now that he's gotten out
- 49:48Speaker 6: of it is like, yeah, man, whatever. But I know
- 49:52Speaker 6: he likes that because he likes the old fifty cent shows.
- 49:56Speaker 6: He loved all that power stuff. So I know that's
- 49:58Speaker 6: his mind. And we'll be back what a sports jock

- 54:10Speaker 2: H Mitch went this year. I think it says he
- 54:13Speaker 2: went two for three that day, but as he ran
- 54:19Speaker 2: and was able to get a triple, he celebrated by
- 54:23Speaker 2: acting like he was snorting in the baseline the baseline, now.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Didn't was that?
- 54:30Speaker 2: Was that a Darryl Strawberry Dwight Gooding thing back in
- 54:34Speaker 2: the day. Was he paying homage or he just saying, okay,
- 54:40Speaker 2: it was three for three with four RB I s
- 54:43Speaker 2: that's worth a little bump right now?
- 54:47Speaker 1: All went three for three with four RB eyes and
- 54:49Speaker 1: took a pump, right am?
- 54:51Speaker 4: I right.
- 54:54Speaker 2: With an with an and your butt in the knife
- 54:57Speaker 2: and you and you get on with the you doing
- 55:00Speaker 2: a little too.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Off the ground.
- 55:03Speaker 6: I don't know if this is a team thing. I
- 55:06Speaker 6: wonder where it came from. Uh that he created this,
- 55:09Speaker 6: but I don't know that it's not illegal. Is he
- 55:11Speaker 6: suspended or anything? No, this just happened yesterday. Nothing about
- 55:16Speaker 6: suspension is on here.
- 55:18Speaker 1: I bet his coach watching him closer though, but he
- 55:20Speaker 1: might he might.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Yeah, they gonna search his room when they get back
- 55:24Speaker 2: the bad producer called a bad producer for some urine, Mitch,
- 55:28Speaker 2: since you know he believed in skirting around. Yes, sir Mitch,
- 55:32Speaker 2: he got a good one. You could tell by his form,
- 55:34Speaker 2: Mitch know what he doing. You could tell that ain't no,
- 55:37Speaker 2: that ain't no random, just improving it out now, Mitch,
- 55:41Speaker 2: Mitch is seasoned. Oh, the Falcons have decided at least
- 55:47Speaker 2: now they're gonna run with, which I think is a
- 55:50Speaker 2: great decision. I was hoping, not necessarily at the dollar amount,
- 55:54Speaker 2: but I was hoping they could get Kirk Cousins to
- 55:57Speaker 2: stick around as the backup QB.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Now to Michael Pennant's.
- 56:03Speaker 2: With the dollar amount thing, do you think that's just
- 56:06Speaker 2: part and parcel of what you're always saying about, that's
- 56:08Speaker 2: what the market will bear to get a back of
- 56:12Speaker 2: a serviceable backup quarterback in the NFL.
- 56:15Speaker 1: You got to pay at least in the range of
- 56:19Speaker 1: this with Kirk cuss.
- 56:20Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 56:20Speaker 6: I think the Falcons most likely they were searching for someone,
- 56:24Speaker 6: couldn't come up with who they wanted in that position,
- 56:27Speaker 6: and are just gonna have to bite the bullet on
- 56:31Speaker 6: this in a sense of how much it is to
- 56:33Speaker 6: have that type of backup a guy.
- 56:36Speaker 1: It's like a bonus that kicked in on Saturday.
- 56:40Speaker 6: For some guys just have that what is it, a
- 56:43Speaker 6: four leaf clover? Yeah, uh, in their pocket and situations.
- 56:47Speaker 6: You just caught them at a time where I couldn't
- 56:49Speaker 6: get the two or three guys I wanted or I
- 56:52Speaker 6: didn't trust those guys, you know, but couples to sign
- 56:57Speaker 6: them a couple, and I wanted to and I wanted
- 56:59Speaker 6: us to stay competitive at that position. Yeah, I didn't
- 57:03Speaker 6: want to go get a Kyle Trash or an unproven
- 57:08Speaker 6: guy right for a team. I think I'm getting going
- 57:11Speaker 6: in the right direction and not able to help my
- 57:16Speaker 6: second year quarterback because you want a veteran and so
- 57:20Speaker 6: I don't know what's out there, but at least for now,
- 57:23Speaker 6: that's where they are. And that don't mean during the
- 57:26Speaker 6: season they could trade work or something.
- 57:29Speaker 8: He during he made a couple of comments and a
- 57:33Speaker 8: couple of local beat writers of the Orlando and a
- 57:36Speaker 8: couple of other local reporters who cover the Falcons exclusively,
- 57:41Speaker 8: they they were a little upset because mentioned about it
- 57:44Speaker 8: before all this went on.
- 57:45Speaker 1: He was mentioned about he was hurt.
- 57:47Speaker 8: Then all of a sudden some other things came out,
- 57:48Speaker 8: and then all of a sudden, everybody was like, let's
- 57:50Speaker 8: go ahead and trade him. But my thing was, I
- 57:52Speaker 8: was like, you, if if we can hold on to
- 57:54Speaker 8: him and then down the line during the season later on,
- 57:58Speaker 8: if somebody need him another team, that's possibly then you
- 58:02Speaker 8: got a great trade value. But at the same time
- 58:05Speaker 8: Kirk said he wanted out, I was just thinking, what
- 58:08Speaker 8: did you think he might want? He got he wanted
- 58:09Speaker 8: to go back to Minnesota because they went and signed
- 58:14Speaker 8: somewhat different than that was there last year who led
- 58:17Speaker 8: him to the playoffs. But I was thinking, maybe Kurk
- 58:19Speaker 8: really desired to go back to Minnesota if he didn't
- 58:21Speaker 8: finish it, finish something there or I don't know.
- 58:25Speaker 1: I don't know why he wanted to leave.
- 58:27Speaker 8: He told us he loved us, he wanted to be here,
- 58:29Speaker 8: his family's here during the off season, But then all
- 58:31Speaker 8: of a sudden, you ready to go.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 58:33Speaker 2: I didn't hear anything about him being ready to go.
- 58:37Speaker 2: I heard him say that the Falcons made a little
- 58:41Speaker 2: noise that they were going to let him go or
- 58:44Speaker 2: trade him, and he said he'd like to go to
- 58:46Speaker 2: a team where he had a chance to start, but
- 58:50Speaker 2: I don't remember reading anything in this kind. I don't
- 58:53Speaker 2: want to be in Atlanta. And why do fans do that?
- 58:56Speaker 2: Why do they get emotionally insulted when a player says
- 59:00Speaker 2: to go somewhere else? This is business, You've said to me,
- 59:03Speaker 2: you thinking about getting rid of me. I don't want
- 59:05Speaker 2: to be anywhere where I'm not wanted. I need to
- 59:07Speaker 2: go somewhere where I can take advantage. That happened with
- 59:11Speaker 2: Matt Ryan.
- 59:11Speaker 4: You know.
- 59:11Speaker 8: I mean we tried to go for Deshaun Watson and
- 59:14Speaker 8: Matt Ryan he'd said, hey, I'm gone if.
- 59:16Speaker 2: You will, because I'm going somewhere that's more advantageous to
- 59:20Speaker 2: me in this business dealing. If he were to stay
- 59:24Speaker 2: and he not get the money he think he deserves,
- 59:26Speaker 2: then the fans are mad at the organization because you
- 59:30Speaker 2: don't treat.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Your players right.
- 59:32Speaker 2: They're giving them low grades on franchise happiness. So it's business.
- 59:40Speaker 2: And in this level, Kirk Cousins window is got to
- 59:46Speaker 2: be closing. Oh yeah, it's got to be closing, so
- 59:50Speaker 2: he has got time to be playing.
- 59:51Speaker 1: I didn't even understand why is everybody mad that he
- 59:53Speaker 1: said his shoulder was hurt? Well, I think he disclosed
- 59:58Speaker 1: that information.
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: Was it like something you wasn't supposed to say because
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: at the time of the playoff, or we were playing
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: during the season, or he was or he's supposed to
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: being on the end of reserve.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: It was something I had to go back and find
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: an article. Maybe great, I don't know if you read it,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: but it was like Zion Williamson ain't played in fourteen seasons.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: He only been in the NBA first seven.
- 1:00:22Speaker 24: Man.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Bye, I'm saying for real. Now we'll be back with
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: more the Sports Shock Show. After this, I could tell
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: who's on.
- 1:00:32Speaker 25: The Well twenty five show to the pay I ain't
- 1:00:35Speaker 25: going home.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I'm on the stay off.
- 1:00:37Speaker 17: Just hate you.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: When they look at for Well, I just slip back
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and let him play out.
- 1:00:42Speaker 11: John Boy Wayne Born of the Sports John Show with
- 1:00:44Speaker 11: Wayne Dampies coming up next.
- 1:00:48Speaker 25: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:00:51Speaker 25: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:00:54Speaker 25: I think man can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 1:00:57Speaker 25: probably gets in the way and they may want to well,
- 1:01:00Speaker 25: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:01:04Speaker 25: with the family support in line and just with my
- 1:01:07Speaker 25: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:01:11Speaker 25: a positive. I knew I needed more tools on my
- 1:01:13Speaker 25: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:01:17Speaker 25: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:01:19Speaker 25: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:01:22Speaker 25: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:01:25Speaker 25: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:01:28Speaker 25: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:01:31Speaker 25: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:01:35Speaker 25: and watching your kids be happy.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Never stop being a dad. That's dedication. Find out more

- 1:01:48Speaker 12: Most people out here think that taking care of one
- 1:01:51Speaker 12: another is important, and most people would step up for
- 1:01:54Speaker 12: a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
- 1:01:57Speaker 12: here help out friends and family when they need it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 12: But the funny thing is most of us won't work
- 1:02:02Speaker 12: for help when we need it. Talk to someone if

- 1:02:36Speaker 2: This this is the sports jock Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: You Meg Megan do make up?
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Can you boo me down? Get you frank me down?
- 1:02:48Speaker 17: Dot Com?
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Comfort pocket yet a comfort bock is?
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: It's just.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I'm a dog. I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: Welcome back to this way, shock show him this one
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: shock wing Candy.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Good morning to you out there this single land.
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: If you missed anything about that first hour, especially to
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: do wipes, make sure you go to Apple Park, Amazon
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: part CAUs probably Amazon.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Everybody sell them in the store, getting my Walmart. Yeah,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you can get them at places where guys don't shop.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Audible Deezer, iHeartRadio or Spotify the catch to replay after
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: we go off the air. Today we talked about Bill Belichick.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: White people keep hounding him and his lady friend. They
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: seem to be having a good time. Bill Belichick taking
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: over for the North Carolina Tar Hills football team.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: We talked about the Falcons.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins still on the roster doesn't mean that he's
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: gonna state just triggered his roster bonus that he had
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: in his contract. Perfect scenario if you can get Kirk
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: to be that guy at thirty six thirty seven to
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: sit behind Michael Pennix. But he might have that fire,
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: so you end up trading him down the road or
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: possibly closer to draft day, make a trade and put
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: him on a team that he feels like he can
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: have some success. And I think he's going to have
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: a I don't know how Harold he will play, but
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: I know he will play better this common season than
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: he did last year, just based on how people usually
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: recover from ruptured achilles. They typically or any major surgery
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: like that, the year after the spring in their legs
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: seem to be fully back.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: You had your hand up.
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: Yeah, I wanted to ask you you think Kirk would
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: be a backup, not like a Cam Newton, which you
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: always described to us, like he's not like I could
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: have made that throw. You think Kurt's gonna be on
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: sideline like that? Or would he be on the sideline
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: encouraging the young.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: Well, I don't know him personally, but from what his
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: career has shown and the way he goes about his business.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: He seems like if he's decided to take on the role,
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: he would be professional at it. He wouldn't take on
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: the roll and then try to act something different. But
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: he's been open that he would like to be traded
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: somewhere where he can start, so at least he's not
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: sitting there making you think, oh, I'm good in this position,
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: right So, but I think if that's where he ended up,
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: he would handle it in the way that he should.
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: You wouldn't see him down here on the end of
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: the bench with a towel. He'd probably be over there
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: trying to help Michael Pennox. And we still got questions
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: about Pennick.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Let's let's call that, you know, it's not like we
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: saw enough of him to be like, oh, we know
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: he's the guy, Mike, Mike.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Let's let's call that sitting on the end of the bench.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Whether tale over your head is not going to allow that,
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Just do it anyway. Let's do it anyway. When the
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: quarterback is acting subpar, we'll call it.
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: He's camming mo Vaughn saying that he used H G
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: H for uh the better part of the ladder of
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: his career, and we discussed. How should that be handled
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: by these major leagues when guys actually confess. We got
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: guys like a Barry Bonds, who is not allowed in
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: the Hall of Fame just because you think what.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: And Barry Barry sitting there, Barry sitting there with a
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: head that grew three sizes in one season, like what,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: he's never positive and and I mean positive, it's not
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: like people use fake urine. Oh wait, they confessed to that.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Barry knows the guy who gave the other guys that stuff.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: And that's the fact. But testified.
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: If you caught me, or if I testified to it
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: and confess to it, then that disqualifies me. If you
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: didn't catch me and I ride out nobody ever gets me,
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: then there's no recourse to anybody.
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: So you saying, my guy, Roger Clemens is being held
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: out because Andy Pettittt testified that he himself used h
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: G H along with Clemens and other people.
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: And but thinks they did and they he hearsay, objection, objection,
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: it's all here.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Say.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: I'm saying, I'm saying with anyone that you did not
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: catch and did not confess that, then there's no recourse.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: But if either one of those trigger then that puts
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: you out. You got to quit listen to that your confessions.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: There are some people that commit crimes and never confess
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: and take it all the way to the White House.
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: Levion Bail, the former star running back for the Stealers,
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: some issues last week, some court cases that have been
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: actually ruled upon, where he a jury ordered damages of
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: twenty five million. He's being charged with accusations of rape
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: and incest. Young cousin of Levion Bail says that Leveon
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: and his brother started molesting her when she was eight
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: until she was about eighteen. The warned the damages were
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: awarded because Leveon Bell never showed up the court. From
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: the article that I read, it's twenty five million for Leveon.
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: His brother, I think his name is Levante. He was
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: ordered to pay eleven million for his part in it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: Levean went on a wild rant that I'm quite sure
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: his lawyers did not give the thumbs up to on
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: social media last week, talking about, uh, he didn't have
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: to rape women, slaying dragons and all kinds of things
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: that did not help. I'm quite sure he thought he
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: was helping himself, but that stuff he was on make
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: you think you helping yourself? Know what I'm saying, you.
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: Usually on that baseline he was, he was on that
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: third baseline he was, he was on that, he was
- 1:09:40Speaker 8: on that four RB I and that's three for three.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: But it was it's a case that's very sensitive, and
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: I guess you know, I never really he never really
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: said he didn't do the act as much as he's
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: saying he didn't have to do the act.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: I thought that it was totally a time for this
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: young man who still is only about thirty four years old.
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: It's not like he's a just seems like he's older,
- 1:10:09Speaker 6: but he's still shy of thirty five. Just a colorful
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: character that lost his way for somewhere in there when
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: he left the Stillers.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: And we'll talk about that a little later. How guys
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: are just condemning the Stillers in their ways. But this
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: is a serious case if you look it up.
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: And the school district has went on to remove his
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: name from the football field already in his old high school,
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: Gloverport Madison Schools announced.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: That yes, they removed his name from the high school,
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: which is one of the things they tell you when
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: you go home or you go up to anyone that's
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: in charge of that particular. They don't really like you
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: to be old.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Or dead.
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: When they put your name on things. It's really one
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: of those sensitive what will you do? You know, we've
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: seen so many guys, especially now in this new climate,
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: that didn't get to get in the grave before charges.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: But they don't like to do it when you're younger
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: because you still have life to live, and then they
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: have to retroactively go back and take your name off
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: well because of that, and that's why it used to
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: be the person is dead. Now we've lived long enough
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: to come to a climate where people want to dig
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: up dead people and remove their name from schools and
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: things like that, airports, and you know, because of something
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: they found out they did. Now that's the ultimate I
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: got away with it, but she's going the ground. Yeah,
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: let me slide with all of that. Here's the funny.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Come on, man.
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: They had a contract actually with this that once they
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: named and named the school in twenty seventeen, and they
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: went on to say that he was supposed to pay money,
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: but he never paid the money. But the school contract
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: said that it could be terminated if he had got
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: into a scandal or anything.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Going forward, and how is it that you don't show
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: up the court on that day?
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: He was actually, I mean, we can look it up
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: by doing the break. But from the story I read
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: last week, because this came out like last Thursday, he's
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: saying he never got the notice.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Notice.
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: Now I don't know how many notices they sent down
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: or how all that, but he was kind of claiming
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: how it got lost in translation basically like whatever you
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: were sending me to whatever email address wasn't getting to me.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: And they don't send that stuff by email.
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: Well, I'm saying, however, they sent it the address email.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: He saying that it didn't get to him. I got
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: a new phone. So they'll call you with it to
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: come to court.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: They send a uniform officer in a marked car to
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: your home to ask and see that's what I'm saying.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: If you're not there, they're not going to leave it
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: just on your doorstep. They you someone had they have
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: to hand it to you directly. If I don't live
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: in that state, well they will send it to a state,
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: will someone, and it has to be to get to
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: you some kind of way, and before you can set
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: a court date. But is it is it an article
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: that has to go to the has to be seen
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: and given to the person. Yes, right, and that's what
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: part I guess he's saying he never physically was given
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: and and I'm saying that seems dubious in that they
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: couldn't set a trial date for people who haven't been
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: notified of the tribe in a civil case.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: They can in civil cases.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, remember this is all civil civil so right,
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: I'm thinking criminally, Well, I'm thinking the sexual assault part
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: made it criminal.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: That's what I That's why I'm confused. It's why is
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: he not in jail for some of this.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: Because it's I don't think it ever got to the
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: part of It's kind of like the Cassie did he

- 1:18:37Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: What is the recourse to that? Because we've had people
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: in the media. I know I've had friends who gotten
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: that terrible kind of news. Yeah, eighteen twenty years later. Yeah,
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: now this ain't really yet. I sent your child.

- 1:24:47Speaker 3: Life Insurance three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: percent actually have life insurance.
- 1:24:56Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:24:58Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought we lift
- 1:25:00Speaker 19: forever life insurance.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:25:06Speaker 19: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:25:07Speaker 19: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:25:09Speaker 19: survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
- 1:25:11Speaker 19: the insurance informant.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:25:18Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:25:21Speaker 19: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: Log on today benefits orbills dot com. That's benefits orbills
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: dot Com.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Hurting the game.
- 1:25:48Speaker 28: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 1:25:54Speaker 28: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:25:57Speaker 28: times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 1:26:01Speaker 28: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:26:03Speaker 28: really going through. So we're gonna reach out because sometimes
- 1:26:07Speaker 28: mental health is not a one person job.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Is it?
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Love your Mind today dot org. That's love your Mind
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Today dot org.
- 1:26:14Speaker 28: Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and
- 1:26:16Speaker 28: the Head Counsel.
- 1:26:19Speaker 24: And now back to the sports giant Wayne Gandy's Lounge.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: I've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gangy.
- 1:26:49Speaker 14: Remember we up on us with the folks in the bubbles,
- 1:26:52Speaker 14: Wash up the store for the bulls. Talking State forward
- 1:26:55Speaker 14: Chap got Uncle Zach's focus up with blow up.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: They knows the coprid the lows win is coded it blue.
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: Welcome back to this War Shock Shock. I'm this War
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: Shocks Wing Candan Charles Barkley. I've been on a little
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: rant here recently accusing ESPN and criticizing them for basically
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: only showing teams like Golden State and the Lakers because
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: I can't really understand where Charles I get the sentiment.
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: But unfortunately in our country, since everything has become based
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: on the dollar, we skip over a lot of talent,
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: good music, things that we should be more interested in
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: for things that have been more marketable and that sale more.
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: Charles wants more attention put on some of the other
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: teams like Case or a Detroit in their turnaround, those
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: kind of teams. But this is nothing new to television.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: Most households of anyone, Big Kenny, myself the bad producer
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: with the teams that we gravitated to in the late
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: seventies and early eighties were Lakers, Celtics, Stealers, Cowboys. Even
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: though none of us lived in those places, people became
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: fans because those were the teams that were put on
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: television all the time. It's always been three or four
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: teams that they infuse into your consciousness football, and today
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: is they're gonna put the Cowboys on regardless of record.
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: So yes, they're going to show the Chiefs based on
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: that they win. They're going to show the Ravens based
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: on the dynamics of Lamar Jackson so people can see that.
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: But the Cowboys, they're going to find a way win, lose,
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: a draw, even when Dak got hurt, they didn't do
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: the whole switch out the flex scene. They still showed
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: you the Cowboys as they are because because there, because
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: of their fan base and their popularity, the Lakers have
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: always been one of those teams. The Celtics has always
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: been the Knicks have always been one of those teams there.
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: There's a lot of NBA teams that kind of yo yo,
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: the Sixers. You think about the Michael Jordan Bulls, or
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: even you think about the Derek Rose Bulls. But now
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: the Bulls don't have anything for them to show, so
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: they don't really put them on television. So the criticism,
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: I really can't see where Charles TNT is going to
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: give you the best matchups, right.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: They don't really consider.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: Whether when the Kings, like two years ago, three years ago,
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: when the Kings were doing all that winning.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: They will put it on there. But most people are
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: looking for some kind of Laker.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Nick Golden State with Steph Curry particular player, especially
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: the NBA who saw you players.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: Over teams, right.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: I think a lot of a lot of American decisions
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: are made based on name recognition, and so this is
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: just the model that we use for success. If we're
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: trying to sell a product, if we're trying to get
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: a candidate elected, you put a lot of commercials on
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: TV saying that candidate's name over and over and over
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: and over and over, just so people.
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: When they walk in the booth go, oh, yeah, I've
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: heard of this guy.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: So Charles Barkley seems like in the listing of the
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: these names, the Knicks, the Lakers, the Celtics, nobody said
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: when you said yo yo, we said the Sixers, nobody
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: said Phoenix. Those were teams he played for, and maybe
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: feels like in some of his time playing man, they
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: ought to be talking about us. I still shut down
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: a Larry Bird, I still go hard at Magic, and
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: ain't nobody talking about Phoenix, you know what I mean.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: So it sounds a little bit like you salty Charles
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: and bad producer.
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: Ratings already slipping for the NBA consistently here over the
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: last decade. No surprise, they're trying to pump. That's part
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: of the whole criticism of the load management. They feel
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: like that load management kind of mindset, people are scared
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: to buy tickets because they don't know if the star
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: is going to show up. In the NBA, they do
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: lose viewership based on who's her different than other sports.
- 1:32:02Speaker 6: A Braids fan, regardless of who's in the lineup, is
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: still want to see the Braids play the Dodgers. They
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: don't really care that you told them Akuna is out today.
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: They still playing on going to the game. Basketball.
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Not so much.
- 1:32:19Speaker 6: If the Hawks are playing Minnesota and you let it
- 1:32:25Speaker 6: be known that Anthony Edwards is not playing, people start
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: trying to get out of those twos.
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: And then it's even in Southern when Anthony Edwards ain't playing,
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: but he'll still show up.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: And then regular clause, what are you doing on the sideline? Anthony?
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: You think you think?
- 1:32:42Speaker 8: I like that Charles spoke up in that manner and
- 1:32:46Speaker 8: the fact that you continuously it is true, which that
- 1:32:50Speaker 8: is like you said, you gotta drive the ratings.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: You gotta talk about Steph, you gotta talk about Lebron.
- 1:32:54Speaker 8: And that's what ESPN has done over the last what
- 1:32:57Speaker 8: fifteen years is continuously rode that waved.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Yeah. And so with with.
- 1:33:05Speaker 8: Charles coming, what got me was that Charles basically told
- 1:33:09Speaker 8: he has been he I'm coming over here.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that.
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: That's the respect factor I have for Charles that he's
- 1:33:15Speaker 8: driven this conversation as much that to say, we're not
- 1:33:17Speaker 8: gonna come over here with our show doing the same
- 1:33:20Speaker 8: thing you're doing already.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: We're gonna be different. And now that's what I'm getting.
- 1:33:24Speaker 8: From with Charles Barkley, as he letting his fan base
- 1:33:27Speaker 8: and the TNT people know, we're not gonna be these
- 1:33:30Speaker 8: robots to continually push. We're gonna, like you say, show
- 1:33:33Speaker 8: you and talk about the players that we're thinking that's
- 1:33:36Speaker 8: making moving a needle.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: Well, we can't put we can't. We're gonna push what
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: we're showing tonight at seven o'clock.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: But I think that they would have.
- 1:33:45Speaker 8: But I think those guys have enough respects because they
- 1:33:47Speaker 8: are coming over there with the most Emmys, the most
- 1:33:50Speaker 8: this and that and a lot of things that they
- 1:33:52Speaker 8: still will have creative control.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: No, I'm gonna have creative control over that.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: I would hope so, because how do you how do
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: you have credit? How do you have creative control over
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: who's the best team and who's not.
- 1:34:09Speaker 8: No, when I say creative control over, I'm saying with
- 1:34:12Speaker 8: the show. In other words, they'll be able to get
- 1:34:16Speaker 8: the attention. Who gets the attention within them, within Kenny, Charles,
- 1:34:20Speaker 8: Ernie and a Shack. They will the ESPN can't come
- 1:34:23Speaker 8: in and say, hey, we need to push this, we
- 1:34:24Speaker 8: need to push this. They'll look at him and I
- 1:34:27Speaker 8: think they'll sit back and look at him and like, well, okay,
- 1:34:29Speaker 8: we'll take it.
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: Fift PN is going to be the distributor for their show. Correct, Yes, okay,
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: so it was a bit warden. Well, no, I'm saying
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: a lot of their creative input, I'm sure will be
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: due to the fact that they produce the show in
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: house and then.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: Just give it to ESPN and that's what put it on.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: They kept a lot of their staff.
- 1:34:52Speaker 6: So but no, and I'm saying the key to a
- 1:34:55Speaker 6: lot of that is who are we showing tonight exactly?
- 1:34:59Speaker 6: And as seven o'clock the night the Lakers on. These
- 1:35:03Speaker 6: are the games, and so most likely we're gonna speak
- 1:35:06Speaker 6: on those games, right.
- 1:35:10Speaker 8: Can I would imagine that they would those games if
- 1:35:14Speaker 8: let's say, if Charles and then was on the ESPN
- 1:35:16Speaker 8: this year, I think that they would be the Lakers
- 1:35:18Speaker 8: and Golden States probably wouldn't be on that they're their
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: time slide.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: There will be other teams.
- 1:35:24Speaker 7: I really really think about like the necessarily the games
- 1:35:26Speaker 7: that are shown, but the coverage, like the postgame shows
- 1:35:32Speaker 7: or with the shows that ESPN has. There there is
- 1:35:36Speaker 7: a disproportionate amount of Lakers and Warriors discussion and not
- 1:35:41Speaker 7: enough of the teams that have better And.
- 1:35:43Speaker 8: That's why the league is suffering because you're not talking
- 1:35:45Speaker 8: about the rest of them. You're not talking about the
- 1:35:48Speaker 8: the Shae Gilchrest saw, the Donovan Mitchell's or the way
- 1:35:52Speaker 8: them when they play the.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: Lakers and the Celtics and the Knicks, those are fantastic.
- 1:36:00Speaker 8: They don't even talk about if you think about they
- 1:36:01Speaker 8: don't even talk ESBN. They don't talk about Jason Tatum
- 1:36:04Speaker 8: or Brown the way they should. And this time, let
- 1:36:06Speaker 8: me ask you their defending Chad, when did we start
- 1:36:09Speaker 8: being mad that the people who win the most get
- 1:36:12Speaker 8: the most coverage.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: That's the thing about being.
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: We're not winning because they winning the most and they're
- 1:36:17Speaker 8: not talking about that. I mean Brown, the Celtics won
- 1:36:21Speaker 8: Monus last year. I think they were the best team
- 1:36:24Speaker 8: in the NBA last year.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: I'm saying we talked about the perennial names like Celtics,
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: like Lakers, because you can't just always talk about the
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: Lakers because it's only one team, but.
- 1:36:35Speaker 8: They're not even talking about the Celtics, and there they
- 1:36:38Speaker 8: are a blue blood in the NBA.
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: I'm saying, they get talked about when they face the Lakers.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: And that's my point.
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: They those teams that the Lakers play a lot of
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: different teams that nobody ever really talks about. But they've
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: got the best player possibly in the history of NBA
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: basketball on their team.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: They just made their team better by getting uh.
- 1:37:04Speaker 8: But they've always thold about the Lakers, even before Lebron
- 1:37:07Speaker 8: was there, and so why yeah, Kobe was there, and
- 1:37:12Speaker 8: before Kobe was there, Magic was there.
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: It was Kobe Shack. It's always been they The nickname
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: of the team is Showtime Lake Show, Showtime.
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: Hold this this era is all about the show. Why
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: would we go with something else. We're gonna go with
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: the blue collar team. No, we want to go with
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: the Showtime people. They understand the assignment.
- 1:37:37Speaker 8: Like Charles said, we're not getting that with the Lakers
- 1:37:40Speaker 8: right now, that Showtime, that Lake Show in the past,
- 1:37:43Speaker 8: as in the gret that coverage that we're going to
- 1:37:46Speaker 8: continue to just throw them.
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: The people, the people who are paying for the advertisement.
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: Don't know that they don't watch the NBA. They go
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: with the recognizable name. Hey, we want to advertise in
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: a prime spot and who's playing And that's not true.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: The Lakers still are the biggest draw. Oh, I'm not
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: saying that.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: You just said it thirty seconds ago.
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: What I said recorded we're going to break. I don't
- 1:38:12Speaker 6: even have time to go back with you on stuff.
- 1:38:14Speaker 6: You say stuff and then as soon as it's over
- 1:38:16Speaker 6: you say you didn't say it. No, I'm not saying
- 1:38:18Speaker 6: that the Lakers sayings.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: Will be back.
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: Sports pipping on anothering you put it up at shoy
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: something cud even to see that got it crowdy?

- 1:40:54Speaker 6: March Madness is upon us. March Madness twenty twenty five.
- 1:40:59Speaker 6: N C double A blasted for a corruption as committee
- 1:41:03Speaker 6: chairman and North Carolina athletic director sees the struggling Tar
- 1:41:09Speaker 6: Hills get laughable.
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: Bid to the Big Dance. I woke up to a
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: text about this.
- 1:41:18Speaker 6: Someone wanted me to ask the bad producer, basically Committee
- 1:41:24Speaker 6: chairman Bubba Cunningham, who is the athletic director at North Carolina,
- 1:41:32Speaker 6: how did Tar Hills find their way into the tournament?
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: How did we find out way? We were invited?
- 1:41:40Speaker 8: They were selected, They played a good they played a season,
- 1:41:44Speaker 8: played their season out, a couple losses that was questionable,
- 1:41:48Speaker 8: just like anyone else, and we got the invite. I mean,
- 1:41:52Speaker 8: I woke up yesterday today to all this and watching that.
- 1:41:57Speaker 8: I mean, what's the big deal? Will blue Blood? We're
- 1:42:00Speaker 8: gonna be there? We want enough and we are. It's
- 1:42:04Speaker 8: a business, our fans are gonna travel, They're gonna be there.
- 1:42:08Speaker 8: You could take another you could take another team and
- 1:42:11Speaker 8: put them in there in that spot. They're not gonna
- 1:42:13Speaker 8: move the needle as far as television and resources with
- 1:42:17Speaker 8: the University of North Carolina and not let's say it's
- 1:42:19Speaker 8: a great day to be a tar Hill and uh
- 1:42:22Speaker 8: glad to be in the South region and we're gonna
- 1:42:24Speaker 8: make a run.
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: And and tonight Charles Barkley will say he's tired of
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: people covering teams like the Tar Hills because they not
- 1:42:33Speaker 2: really winning and that ain't the real product that we
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: see in the best team.
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: They just going with name recognition to kind of people
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: players and haters.
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: Right, But when we were talking about the Lakers, then
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: you had a case for all of that. You had
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: a case for Tar Hills. I'm saying you had a case.
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: And it's what the sports jock said about your philosophy earlier.
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: You have a case.
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: And you came right back not even in a different showing,
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: and came right back and did with this man say
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: you all ways do In just the last segment, you
- 1:43:13Speaker 2: berated Charles Barkley but rated the Lakers and said you
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: agree with Charles.
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: They're not showing the best team.
- 1:43:21Speaker 2: They showing the Lakers, and the Lakers don't deserve to
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: be shown because they're not doing as good as okay see,
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: and they ain't talking about uh s g A. And
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: then you mentioned uh some other team that talk last
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: year as they don't get the cover and that we're
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: talking about the Bloods. It's all cool, dude. You are
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: the most diabolical cap master in the worlde with that
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: in the world, Craig, of all the people I know,
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: bad producer, you are diabolic.
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: Trump listens to you and ghost. This guy's good.
- 1:44:05Speaker 6: This guy's good because you will go minute the minute
- 1:44:10Speaker 6: and actually race what you just said. So now it's
- 1:44:14Speaker 6: okay to go in if you sell tickets and your
- 1:44:16Speaker 6: fan base moves and all that blue blood will That's
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: what the ESPN is saying. We go to the Lakers
- 1:44:21Speaker 6: because they fans travel and they sell tickets.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: But it's cool. Now, it's cool. He loved that little say.
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: Times back in, So you're cool and North Carolina do
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: it and be too black, too strong.
- 1:44:45Speaker 6: Well, this will and most of this is just coming
- 1:44:48Speaker 6: because of the position of Bubba Cunningham.
- 1:44:52Speaker 24: Uh.
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: You know, anytime this happens.
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: People feel like, if you're that big of a player
- 1:44:59Speaker 6: in something to believe you had no bias, and trust me,
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: I would go along and say the same thing. You
- 1:45:08Speaker 6: start running the numbers for the last slot and you
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: go with who is sexier to get in, and it.
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: Works in all kind of relations. But that's wrong.
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: Well if if, if they shouldn't be showing the Lakers
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: in Golden State, then Carolina shouldn't be in the tournament.
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: Hey, I can see why people don't want to stand no.
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even know understand.
- 1:45:40Speaker 8: I understand emnastics because we are in the region.
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: That that can be ran through real easily. Sir, to
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: admit that you live by a double standard, it's cool,
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: it's cool.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: Blue blood. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 1:46:00Speaker 8: I mean haters out there, but unfortunately we have that
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: type of pull within the n c a A. And
- 1:46:07Speaker 8: because we've done they've done such a great job through.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: The years, just like the Lakers. Just like the Lakers. Yes.
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: Uh, the young n y D NYPD detective that was
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: removed from active cases, she did a rap video.
- 1:46:31Speaker 6: She was polled dancing what is her name? Anybody has
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: her name? Poll dancing. I saw, I saw the video
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: whole dancing. I can't remember her name police.
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: Police, yeah, gi her name right? My lista mercado. There
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: you go.
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: I got arrested by the wrong people. What were these
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: when I was out there in the street and rightfully
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: so when I saw this, and I'm like, well, similar
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: to so many people now where people really can't remember
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: the rules of engagement, they really can't.
- 1:47:14Speaker 25: I know.
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: The bad producer sent me a story about I think
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: the lunch room person. Yeah, the lady cafeteria worker.
- 1:47:21Speaker 6: But you were not supposed to be taking money in
- 1:47:23Speaker 6: the first place. But you want your job back because
- 1:47:27Speaker 6: because whatever you think is the outcome, you still broke
- 1:47:31Speaker 6: the rule.
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: And what did she do.
- 1:47:35Speaker 8: She was some kids that weren't getting to eat the
- 1:47:39Speaker 8: cafeteria workers started taking up donations from a lot of
- 1:47:42Speaker 8: her co workers and people around, and she took the
- 1:47:44Speaker 8: money to pay for these kids to have food, and
- 1:47:47Speaker 8: she lost her job the fact, because she wasn't supposed
- 1:47:49Speaker 8: to be taking up donations. And my thing was is like,
- 1:47:51Speaker 8: where's the free where I mean, well, where's all the
- 1:47:56Speaker 8: programs that are available?
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: And then they didn't want her collecting the money, so
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: you know, unfortunate situation.
- 1:48:03Speaker 6: You don't get to go on these people's job and
- 1:48:05Speaker 6: do what you want. Yeah, that's it's basically why if
- 1:48:08Speaker 6: you got police detective. But you know, this doesn't fit
- 1:48:15Speaker 6: within the bylaws of the n y p D. So
- 1:48:21Speaker 6: now they had to pull her from active cases. They
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: got to check you to see how far and have
- 1:48:29Speaker 6: you been tainted if at all? Uh to by what
- 1:48:35Speaker 6: are you doing? You know, and you know to be
- 1:48:38Speaker 6: a police officer now for a long while. They even
- 1:48:41Speaker 6: check your credit score, and that's why.
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: That's why they that's why they arrested me because I
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: saw at the club, I threw a couple of dollars
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: and she didn set me up.
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: Man talking about she didn't want nobody to know.
- 1:48:56Speaker 6: There you go, and that wasn't my coke and the
- 1:48:59Speaker 6: camerater the judge sitting there in a predicament where I
- 1:49:03Speaker 6: gotta let her go. Let you she on some heat,
- 1:49:05Speaker 6: lying and then on it.
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: Here go to video and clap clap clap, clap clap
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: objection mo be back or a sports talk show right
- 1:49:16Speaker 2: after this. You're a pervert too, nay clap.
- 1:49:23Speaker 22: Dark hair, she like she go she do ontime hero
- 1:49:26Speaker 22: feeling myself came rid of my ego.
- 1:49:29Speaker 11: Johe boy Wayne Born of the sports John Hill with
- 1:49:32Speaker 11: Wayne Gantius coming up next.
- 1:49:35Speaker 21: Uh oh brah, that's buzzed.
- 1:49:36Speaker 17: Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots.
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: And now a speech.
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: heart and brain.
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: Who's with me?
- 1:49:48Speaker 16: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 1:49:51Speaker 16: brain is saying, when it's time to go home, Somebody
- 1:49:54Speaker 16: call me a ride.
- 1:49:55Speaker 18: Love that guy, Me too, know your buzzed warning signs,
- 1:49:58Speaker 18: call for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 1:50:00Speaker 18: Buzz driving is drunk driving. A message FROMTSA and the
- 1:50:03Speaker 18: AD Council.
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:50:07Speaker 3: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:50:14Speaker 3: life insurance.
- 1:50:15Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:50:17Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:50:19Speaker 19: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:50:22Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:50:25Speaker 19: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:50:27Speaker 19: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:50:29Speaker 19: survive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with
- 1:50:31Speaker 19: the insurance informant.
- 1:50:32Speaker 3: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:50:35Speaker 3: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:38Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:50:40Speaker 19: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:44Speaker 3: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:50:47Speaker 3: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:50:49Speaker 3: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:50:53Speaker 3: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: or bills dot com. And now back to the sports
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: Job Wayne Gandy. It's time for the school board and
- 1:51:15Speaker 3: we put a spin on life and sports and how
- 1:51:18Speaker 3: they intermingle. On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:25Speaker 29: Go Go, Go, Go Go and on a can of three,
- 1:51:30Speaker 29: go go, go, Go go and on a can of
- 1:51:33Speaker 29: three out go go go, go go go. On a
- 1:51:39Speaker 29: can of three, everybody run back to your fantasy.
- 1:51:42Speaker 6: Now, welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm in
- 1:51:46Speaker 6: the Sports Shock, Wayne Candy. I did read an article
- 1:51:49Speaker 6: that y'all caught one of my former teammates, John Leek.
- 1:51:52Speaker 24: Uh.
- 1:51:53Speaker 6: He was a linebacker my last year or two here
- 1:51:55Speaker 6: with the FALC and H. They called him and actually
- 1:52:01Speaker 6: sentenced him for a Ponzi scheme that he had been running.
- 1:52:07Speaker 6: Uh and and sadly when I saw it, Uh, it
- 1:52:11Speaker 6: fits his He was always kind of like a bad
- 1:52:13Speaker 6: producer kind of guy. That that's the crime fitting. Yeah,
- 1:52:18Speaker 6: he's a schemer and play linebacker. But there was always
- 1:52:22Speaker 6: this kind of.
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: Yeah character character about scheme. Anybody, you try to scheme
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: us every time we turn these mics on. But I'm
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: talking about real life scheming.
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: This is the mic. I'm talking about hand on hand.
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: Ain't now when we say scheme with them, I'm saying
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: with them, with them, focus, Uh, raffle tickets.
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: You sell us every bogus about the raft. Come on
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: this proof away what we're helping people.
- 1:52:55Speaker 6: When you're selling people raffle tickets to something that's already
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: been judged, that's scheming.
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: No oh no, no, nothing had been No no no,
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: you did that twice. No no, no, no, yes, it's okay.
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: We learned, we learned a hard lesson than you did that.
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: It wasn't really a hard lesson.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: We got charged to the game.
- 1:53:17Speaker 6: Scott Peterson, the infamous wife killer, caught some hands the
- 1:53:23Speaker 6: other day. Uh he is in Mule Creek State Prison
- 1:53:28Speaker 6: out in Sacramento area. Uh he got in a fight
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: over a pick a ball game?
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: Is that correct? They got pick a ball inside already?
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: I guess you you know what I mean.
- 1:53:41Speaker 4: It just hit.
- 1:53:42Speaker 2: It just hit the regular words, all parts of the words.
- 1:53:47Speaker 2: That's what that's where they beta tested.
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: That's what through me. Not that Scott hands. That's probably
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: happened before. But jail.
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I was just how do y'all get pickaball that fast?
- 1:54:02Speaker 2: As beta test? We're gonna see how it works, see
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: how the pick a ball? Yeah, maybe it'll work in here,
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: Maybe it won't. We gonna see, well it start as
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: a fight, yeah, so maybe that won't make it. That
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: might not make the wreckyard.
- 1:54:16Speaker 6: Shaka Smart has led his team Marquette to a winning
- 1:54:21Speaker 6: season Marquette Golden Eagles, but he has let his players
- 1:54:25Speaker 6: know over the last three four years which he has
- 1:54:29Speaker 6: not used to transfer portal, that he will not negotiate
- 1:54:34Speaker 6: with agents as a Marquette basketball team. Probably the most
- 1:54:39Speaker 6: famous person out of Marquette is Dwayne Wade, the Hall
- 1:54:43Speaker 6: of Famer. But Shaka Smart has no problem working n
- 1:54:49Speaker 6: I l's, but he will not do it through an agent.
- 1:54:55Speaker 6: He doesn't want to, I guess bring that kind of
- 1:54:59Speaker 6: mindset that an agent would bring.
- 1:55:03Speaker 2: Uh yeah, And I was going to say, when it
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: comes to agents, that's talked to my people. We no
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: longer have direct communication. You're talking to someone who's conveying
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: my thoughts and feelings, and that can get cloud And.
- 1:55:20Speaker 6: I think that's maybe what he's looking for. Commands to
- 1:55:23Speaker 6: keep that personal ye like we're gonna still be on
- 1:55:26Speaker 6: the court now, and and get the player maybe to understand,
- 1:55:29Speaker 6: you know, it ain't got to be down to every dollar.
- 1:55:33Speaker 7: Well then said that, like, you're not going to get
- 1:55:39Speaker 7: more of the budget, more of the ni L money
- 1:55:43Speaker 7: just because you have an agent or the agent can't
- 1:55:46Speaker 7: negotiate for more.
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: You're going to get a certain amount and everyone gets
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: this certain amount. That that's what he that's what.
- 1:55:54Speaker 8: So he's trying to me seem like he's trying to
- 1:55:56Speaker 8: help the players not give it money a percentage to
- 1:56:01Speaker 8: the agents.
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: It's unnecessary.
- 1:56:03Speaker 2: I think, yeah, I think he's trying to establish with
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: his program, kind of how Dabbo Sweeney with Clemson, Like,
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: we're not going to be a big transferred portal kind
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: of place because I don't say we're not going to
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: grab one or two, but this we won't be. That
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: won't be out And as a coach and as ads
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: and stuff for Marquette, we kind of have a budget.
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: This is how it's kind of going to go. You
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: sending some slickster up here named bad Producer is not
- 1:56:37Speaker 2: going to But now everybody's supposed to get eighty five thousand,
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: but Comanche Greg really could get.
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: About eighty one.
- 1:56:46Speaker 8: And also, my guys, it can prevent three a lot
- 1:56:49Speaker 8: of those guys being on the campus running around doing
- 1:56:53Speaker 8: things that agents not supposed to be on campus doing. Also,
- 1:56:57Speaker 8: is that also a preventive measure for him as far
- 1:57:00Speaker 8: as making sure the players stay sure clients.
- 1:57:02Speaker 6: But I think it's more to tap into the mindset.
- 1:57:06Speaker 6: As much as I want you to want money, I
- 1:57:08Speaker 6: want you to be a teammate and want to play
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: basketball right, And that's the thing that pros can't get
- 1:57:17Speaker 6: at the combine. I always tell there's a couple of.
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: Things that no matter what I do, I can't measure
- 1:57:27Speaker 2: what you're going to do when I give you this money.
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: Everybody didn't become everybody didn't lose their talent when it
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: got to the league. But money can make you lose
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: your focus. Everybody keeps you know when they always oh,
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: he's a bomb, and he is, like, man, he's not
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: really a bomb.
- 1:57:49Speaker 6: He really is that dude that you saw down there
- 1:57:52Speaker 6: at South Carolina and then you gave him twenty million
- 1:57:57Speaker 6: dollars a year.
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: And he decided. You know that kind of thing is
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: it's the same. Hell yeah, Now.
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: You're talking about the film room, the dark film room
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: with just the dudes in it. Now, it's a part
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: of the hunger that, like anybody, you get a little
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: bit or two, you can keep working.
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: You get a full meal. Next thing, you know, you
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: in the lounge sleep. Is that not how it works?
- 1:58:31Speaker 2: If you just took a bite or two, he would
- 1:58:33Speaker 2: have been good. Nothing to keep you going. But you
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: got that full mealing. Now ain't no work done the
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: rest of the day. So I think with coach to me,
- 1:58:45Speaker 2: just trying to establish a finding those players that he
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: wants to differentiate one the team for the money and
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: he wants guys that kind of want the balance.
- 1:58:55Speaker 6: I want to take advantage. But I came here to
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: play ball too, not just for some big I like that,
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: and we are in the ocean.
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Jut
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:59:53Speaker 2: When you're down the ocean that gives the Sports Shocks
- 1:59:55Speaker 2: just a minute to bet. Would like to thank you
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: for two in to today's show, Big Kenny command Gie,
- 2:00:03Speaker 2: Greg Bat producer, thank you for all you contribute it
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: to the show today. If you missed any of the show,
- 2:00:11Speaker 2: you can go to Amazon Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Desert, Audible, iHeartRadio,
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: Spotify and catch the replay of the show Got in
- 2:00:28Speaker 2: the Ocean Today. Flight one thousand and six from Colorado
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: Springs to Dallas. They should charge every passenger that stopped
- 2:00:47Speaker 2: to get their luggage.
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: As they were asked to deplane.
- 2:00:54Speaker 2: A fiery.
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: Cabin.
- 2:01:00Speaker 6: They should charge them. They should never be allowed to
- 2:01:03Speaker 6: fly again in life. American Airlines. The passengers were told
- 2:01:11Speaker 6: that there was trouble before the plane landed. They were
- 2:01:15Speaker 6: giving the instructions again on how to get off the plane.
- 2:01:20Speaker 6: American Airlines. The stewardess the flight attendants, whatever you want
- 2:01:25Speaker 6: to call them. The captains are supposed to be able
- 2:01:28Speaker 6: to get passengers off the plane in ninety seconds.
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: To do that, that requires you not to get your luggage.
- 2:01:37Speaker 1: Command you, Gregg.
- 2:01:39Speaker 6: These passengers decided to go in the overhead bend and
- 2:01:44Speaker 6: some of them took their luggage, which made the evacuation longer.
- 2:01:51Speaker 6: You rather save luggage than save lives, y'all see the
- 2:01:56Speaker 6: airlines for everything. I believe the airlines should made as
- 2:01:59Speaker 6: soon you people for endangering lives. That's how I see,
- 2:02:06Speaker 6: because that's what would happen if somebody would have died. Yeah,
- 2:02:09Speaker 6: they'd have sued American Airline for allowing these people to
- 2:02:12Speaker 6: get their bag. And they probably still he'll try to
- 2:02:16Speaker 6: sue them. And that's why, come man, Greg, I'm throwing
- 2:02:19Speaker 6: those passengers. They grabbed those bags in the ocean.
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: Fuck the evidence. They walking on the plane. No, they
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: got a picture.
- 2:02:29Speaker 2: The pictures up him standing on the wing, and we're
- 2:02:33Speaker 2: not get out on the win and we're not talking
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: about a smoky cabin.
- 2:02:37Speaker 1: Were talking about flames ship, not the plane. And people still.
- 2:02:41Speaker 8: Trying to get the final count on ninety seconds. It
- 2:02:44Speaker 8: was more than ninety How long was it they didn't
- 2:02:46Speaker 8: give that out? Okay, yeah, from the Sports Shock Show.
- 2:02:49Speaker 8: We hope you have a good afternoon.
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: Peace, he ask so
