Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #321: The Self-Talk Habit That Is Quietly Running Your Life
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, everybody, Welcome to tea time with Amy and Beth.
- 0:04Speaker 2: What's up, sister, Good day. We just had a very
- 0:10Speaker 2: good conversation in the last video. I hope people have
- 0:12Speaker 2: taken the time to listen to it because there's a
- 0:15Speaker 2: lot of growth to be had by that.
- 0:18Speaker 3: There really is.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Yes, we talked a little bit in the last video too,
- 0:24Speaker 2: about how we talk to ourselves.
- 0:29Speaker 3: And how we don't talk.
- 0:31Speaker 2: We don't it's not necessary for us to talk bad
- 0:33Speaker 2: about ourselves, but recognizing how often we do talk bad
- 0:36Speaker 2: about ourselves. How often do we look in the mirror
- 0:39Speaker 2: and we say about whatever instead of taking the time
- 0:43Speaker 2: to look at things and say, oh, well, that tooth
- 0:46Speaker 2: looks really nice. You know, if you're reaching, you just
- 0:49Speaker 2: find the little things that matter and you and you
- 0:51Speaker 2: let that be your focus and watch how things change
- 0:54Speaker 2: for you. But it was just interesting because that's kind
- 0:56Speaker 2: of what was coming into my mind. How we we
- 0:58Speaker 2: I have spent a lot of time talking to my
- 1:01Speaker 2: body in a different way then I would have liked to,
- 1:05Speaker 2: but I hadn't learned it that way because I learned
- 1:07Speaker 2: it differently from probab people around me, probably my mom's
- 1:10Speaker 2: own worries and concerns about it or other adults, you know,
- 1:14Speaker 2: talking because it's a habit, it's just a routine, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: you hear people do it all the time.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It's almost as if it's well, I mean, it wouldn't.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Sound very great if you walked around and were like
- 1:24Speaker 2: Johnny Bravo and like flexing in the mirror and saying, yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 2: I need it. You've got amazing arms there bit or
- 1:30Speaker 2: you got you know, talking to yourself like that.
- 1:32Speaker 3: But there are ways to.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Focus on the positives with your body, with yourself and
- 1:38Speaker 2: grow it from there and see what changes instead of
- 1:41Speaker 2: focusing on it because I have I've been I have
- 1:43Speaker 2: been doing these things, you know, looking at I'm noticing
- 1:46Speaker 2: the age, I'm noticing different things, and it's like, it
- 1:48Speaker 2: doesn't have to be that way. It's what what am
- 1:51Speaker 2: I putting my attention on? Because then if you ask
- 1:53Speaker 2: somebody else, they'll say, I don't even know what you're
- 1:55Speaker 2: talking about right now, and I'm like, well, then you're
- 1:57Speaker 2: an idiot.
- 1:59Speaker 3: You're blind, are you or whatever?
- 2:00Speaker 1: You right?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Depending that that negativity and it's it's unnecessary instead of
- 2:06Speaker 2: just appreciating saying thank you.
- 2:09Speaker 3: So that was one of the things I kind of
- 2:10Speaker 3: wanted to bring forward a little bit.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing at something I'm
- 2:16Speaker 1: internalizing right now. It's cracking me up. I had a
- 2:22Speaker 1: pep talk with myself in the mirror prior to the
- 2:26Speaker 1: event happening that I talked about in the last video,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and I was telling myself, how you know, I'm smart, beautiful,
- 2:37Speaker 1: a lot of wisdom, like saying all the good things.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I'm so proud of you for how far you've come.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Like it was like a whole thing, and it was
- 2:45Speaker 1: all of the now. Now after I'm past this experience
- 2:49Speaker 1: that I had talked about, It's like I just was
- 2:55Speaker 1: having this vision of the universe going, okay, let me
- 3:02Speaker 1: see how much she believes this, squash her like a
- 3:07Speaker 1: bag and see if she recovers. And sure enough, it
- 3:11Speaker 1: took me a day, but I recovered.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So it's true. But we can get so lost in
- 3:18Speaker 2: all that. That's where the issues become. That's when it
- 3:21Speaker 2: becomes an issue when we can get lost in it
- 3:23Speaker 2: and not see it for what it is or see
- 3:26Speaker 2: it for the benefits that it could be and reminding
- 3:29Speaker 2: ourselves only good will come from this.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Now, that's not.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Always an easy thing to do with experiences in life.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But once you get through that part, you find the
- 3:38Speaker 2: pieces that were the good that came from it. There's
- 3:41Speaker 2: people that have been killed, and there's all these other things,
- 3:43Speaker 2: but there's also things that have been enacted because of that.
- 3:45Speaker 2: There's also things that have been planted in place of that.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It's presented opportunities for someone to walk by a site
- 3:52Speaker 2: that has a memorial on a bench that says whatever,
- 3:56Speaker 2: some in memory of and it's an opportunity for each
- 3:59Speaker 2: person to have a p or to raise their heart
- 4:02Speaker 2: or their energy, their frequency, everything, or or you could
- 4:06Speaker 2: take at the opposite side and you can take it
- 4:07Speaker 2: as an opportunity for you to have an outlet. Maybe
- 4:10Speaker 2: maybe it makes you emotional, and it's not to beat
- 4:12Speaker 2: yourself up about that. It was an opportunity for you
- 4:14Speaker 2: to allow yourself to have a release because we need
- 4:17Speaker 2: those releases. And again it's it's not beating ourselves up
- 4:21Speaker 2: about it. Afterwards, it's recognizing, Huh, I feel so much
- 4:25Speaker 2: better after that. I feel freer. I feel like like
- 4:28Speaker 2: there's been a nice rain. It's it's it's looking at
- 4:31Speaker 2: things from a different perspective and then we start seeing
- 4:34Speaker 2: things differently, and then the whole world shows up differently.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Then that the magnet that you are turns into like, oh,
- 4:42Speaker 2: look at the Oh look out that's coming towards me.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Oh that's awesome because I'm in an awesome place right
- 4:47Speaker 2: now for that stuff to be zipping its way to me,
- 4:51Speaker 2: for me to attract all the all the the feelings,
- 4:54Speaker 2: the positive stuff, the look at how look at how
- 4:58Speaker 2: beautiful that person is, And it's like you you're like
- 5:00Speaker 2: absorbing this beauty or not because you're looking at the
- 5:04Speaker 2: other person, but you're in a heightened state and you're
- 5:06Speaker 2: noticing beauty.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Only beauty is going to be residing in that space.
- 5:10Speaker 3: We've talked.
- 5:10Speaker 2: It's been a long time ago. You can't have love
- 5:14Speaker 2: and hate in the same space. You can't be love
- 5:16Speaker 2: and hate somebody. You can hate someone at the moment,
- 5:19Speaker 2: but you're not going to feel love about it because
- 5:22Speaker 2: it's two different frequencies. One's higher than the other, one's
- 5:26Speaker 2: different than the other. And so it's like if we
- 5:28Speaker 2: slow down and take a look at that and stop
- 5:31Speaker 2: and feel things, and we just will process things differently,
- 5:34Speaker 2: we won't get so bogged down with stuff. We'll start
- 5:37Speaker 2: recognizing there's all these positive things that are happening in
- 5:40Speaker 2: each moment.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Just you know, a baby.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Bird passed away. Here, Well, a snake got the baby bird. Right,
- 5:48Speaker 2: there's a positive thing that happened from it. It's fed
- 5:50Speaker 2: a snake instead of it just being there wasting. Maybe
- 5:54Speaker 2: not the best analogy, but it's an experience that I've
- 5:57Speaker 2: had in my in front of me recently. So it's
- 6:00Speaker 2: like it's just recognizing there's there's good things to come
- 6:03Speaker 2: from things. There's good messages, but we sometimes we have
- 6:07Speaker 2: to be the messenger to show those, to highlight those
- 6:09Speaker 2: messages and surviving through a lot of stuff and thriving
- 6:13Speaker 2: through it.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Right, Yes, we're on the other side of it anyways.
- 6:18Speaker 1: And that's that's the whole thing too, is in the moment,
- 6:22Speaker 1: we don't typically understand I muda say probably one hundred
- 6:27Speaker 1: percent of the time, we don't understand what is happening
- 6:29Speaker 1: right now, Yeah, and what brought me to this and
- 6:35Speaker 1: why am I experiencing that? And why would they do this?
- 6:39Speaker 1: And sometimes we don't know for five, ten, twenty years
- 6:47Speaker 1: later the benefit of whatever that experience was. So it's
- 6:54Speaker 1: really learning to have more And I said this last
- 7:00Speaker 1: video have more more of a curious mind instead of
- 7:03Speaker 1: a defensive or victim state mind. Even even people that
- 7:11Speaker 1: I don't really care for, I'm not gonna say I
- 7:14Speaker 1: hate them, because I don't. I can't say that there's
- 7:17Speaker 1: anybody I really hate. I may not care for them,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I may not be excited about their presence in the
- 7:24Speaker 1: same room with me, and I will find a way
- 7:26Speaker 1: to leave the room, but I'm still curious. As you know,
- 7:33Speaker 1: one of the first things I typically will say to
- 7:35Speaker 1: myself is, I bet they had a really rough childhood
- 7:38Speaker 1: or I don't know what their childhood was like to
- 7:41Speaker 1: make them be who they are today, because that is
- 7:45Speaker 1: the in my opinion from everything I have read and studied,
- 7:50Speaker 1: is that is the root is our childhood. We could
- 7:57Speaker 1: because we are part of this space, as well as
- 8:00Speaker 1: we could go into past lives and spirit life and
- 8:04Speaker 1: all that stuff, because that too, I believe is a contributor.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But if you just stick with this lifetime, childhood is
- 8:12Speaker 1: what is the root and is the programming of whatever
- 8:16Speaker 1: somebody's behavior is today. And most likely the people that
- 8:25Speaker 1: you don't really care for do not have these pep
- 8:27Speaker 1: talks to themselves of how amazing they are, and if
- 8:32Speaker 1: they do, maybe they do, maybe they have these these
- 8:35Speaker 1: pep talks of how amazing they are, but it weighs
- 8:38Speaker 1: that seem very egotistical and overbearing and controlling type of
- 8:49Speaker 1: conversations with themselves. And that's not the.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Space that I like.
- 8:56Speaker 2: So it just doesn't feel good then, And that's and
- 9:01Speaker 2: it's also reminding ourselves that we don't have to keep
- 9:04Speaker 2: ourselves in a certain space because we're we have to like, well,
- 9:08Speaker 2: we're going to and Ankole's house, whoever you know, make
- 9:12Speaker 2: up whatever names you have, and you're gonna go over
- 9:15Speaker 2: there and enjoy it. It's like, no, I'm not. I
- 9:17Speaker 2: only want to fricking be there, and we're so it's
- 9:19Speaker 2: not in that we're not in a place anymore to
- 9:20Speaker 2: force ourselves to have to stay in a space that
- 9:24Speaker 2: doesn't feel good.
- 9:26Speaker 3: That's where coming in.
- 9:27Speaker 2: It comes into listening to the body, how does my
- 9:29Speaker 2: body feel right now? And then it goes back to
- 9:31Speaker 2: the being curious, well, why does it feel that way?
- 9:34Speaker 2: How can I feel this way about this person? How
- 9:36Speaker 2: how come this person is triggering me? And then I
- 9:38Speaker 2: can go to the other side of things of setting
- 9:40Speaker 2: our intent every time every time that person comes into
- 9:43Speaker 2: contact with me, I'm gonna this.
- 9:45Speaker 3: We're gonna have an amazing conversation.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It's gonna blow our minds, probably blow everybody's minds that
- 9:49Speaker 2: are around. But it's like setting ourselves up for something
- 9:51Speaker 2: different because otherwise we're looking at them and we're gone
- 9:55Speaker 2: by a pattern and having an expectation of that person
- 9:58Speaker 2: to show up and be the same way that they
- 9:59Speaker 2: were every single time before. Right, it's not allowing for
- 10:04Speaker 2: and I'll believe me, I've got people, but this is
- 10:07Speaker 2: speaking through me, So it's not it's being open and
- 10:12Speaker 2: noticing how people change, because they can change, and they
- 10:16Speaker 2: do change. Sometimes they don't change in this physical, well
- 10:20Speaker 2: world together, and sometimes it's outside the physical and that's
- 10:23Speaker 2: okay too.
- 10:25Speaker 1: What do you think about you think about a high
- 10:27Speaker 1: school reunion? You haven't seen these people in ten twenty
- 10:29Speaker 1: thirty years, Because I experienced this with some people, and
- 10:36Speaker 1: you were you reunite for an event, whatever that might be,
- 10:42Speaker 1: whether high school reunion or college were you they remember
- 10:45Speaker 1: you as you were, They do not know you as
- 10:48Speaker 1: you are, and so they want to reminisce about all
- 10:52Speaker 1: the things. Now, when people reminisce with me about high
- 10:55Speaker 1: school years. It was not a good time for me,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and I don't want to talk about it. I'm like,
- 10:59Speaker 1: that's not that's who I was, but that is not
- 11:02Speaker 1: who I am. And I don't want to be sitting
- 11:04Speaker 1: here talking about those stories because that's it doesn't feel
- 11:08Speaker 1: good to me, Like it's like, yeah, how how are
- 11:13Speaker 1: you today? Like let's talk about today? Because yeah, and
- 11:19Speaker 1: so you know, some people had amazing upbringings and uh
- 11:25Speaker 1: I I there's no doubt I had great, some great,
- 11:29Speaker 1: amazing experiences and I'm not going to deny that that
- 11:32Speaker 1: part of me. But like a lot of people, the
- 11:36Speaker 1: things that work so good kind of come to the
- 11:40Speaker 1: forefront first, especially when you're having those types of conversations
- 11:44Speaker 1: with people who have not been around you, because they're
- 11:47Speaker 1: bringing up all the things that are triggered still triggering.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Now again, if we go back to the last conversation
- 11:54Speaker 1: we had, that might be a good thing because then
- 11:56Speaker 1: that helps you realize there's still some stuff inside that
- 11:59Speaker 1: need some heal, so maybe they can help bring some
- 12:01Speaker 1: of that to the surface. But the point of this
- 12:05Speaker 1: conversation is who you were and who you are. It's
- 12:12Speaker 1: two different chapters. We turned several pages in between, and
- 12:18Speaker 1: we need to catch up to where we are. And
- 12:21Speaker 1: some people don't change, so.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Some people don't. I find that interesting too, because there's
- 12:26Speaker 2: a lot of things that I mean, I don't go
- 12:27Speaker 2: to the gym anymore. I do stuff. I'll do stuff
- 12:30Speaker 2: at home, and it's just I'm just not the same
- 12:34Speaker 2: person anymore.
- 12:35Speaker 3: And that's the whole thing.
- 12:36Speaker 2: That's what I've been, you know, kind of rustling with
- 12:40Speaker 2: a little bit here and there, like why can't I
- 12:42Speaker 2: just go in there and get.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Do it this way and do it this way? You
- 12:45Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 12:46Speaker 2: And for whatever reason, it's just isn't my draw, it's
- 12:49Speaker 2: not my path. It's not my path to do that anymore.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I do stuff at home. I go for walks for
- 12:54Speaker 2: around the area here where I live. But it's interesting
- 12:58Speaker 2: because I'm not that same person anymore. The conversations are
- 13:01Speaker 2: not the same conversation. I guess I'm not up for
- 13:03Speaker 2: the shallow conversations anymore, or somebody trying to pick up
- 13:08Speaker 2: on somebody else, or you know, I'm just not It's
- 13:11Speaker 2: just not my environment, which is hilarious to me because
- 13:14Speaker 2: I did it from like two thousand to probably a
- 13:18Speaker 2: couple of years ago, you know, it was for that
- 13:20Speaker 2: was my lifestyle six days a week, and then all
- 13:23Speaker 2: of a sudden, that wasn't my lifestyle anymore. It wasn't
- 13:26Speaker 2: it wasn't at the top of my list, and that
- 13:28Speaker 2: was the top of my list. So when we go
- 13:30Speaker 2: through evolution, it's being okay when these things change, and
- 13:36Speaker 2: it's fining. Well, if you still want to do things
- 13:38Speaker 2: for health, it's fining different things. It's checking in with
- 13:40Speaker 2: your body. What does your body want to do? How
- 13:42Speaker 2: does your body want to move? I find myself more
- 13:45Speaker 2: lately listening to like Tibetan chanting and certain things like that,
- 13:51Speaker 2: or certain tones and musics that my body automatically wants
- 13:55Speaker 2: to start moving and stuff.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I have never been in this space my whole life,
- 13:59Speaker 3: not that I can recall.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Because that would be draw attention, you know, attention that
- 14:04Speaker 2: I probably didn't need unless I was drinking. You know,
- 14:09Speaker 2: it's there is a difference in that whole personality. But
- 14:12Speaker 2: now my body wants to flow, It wants to do
- 14:14Speaker 2: things differently. And if I tried to make myself still
- 14:18Speaker 2: fit into that previous version of myself, I wouldn't have
- 14:22Speaker 2: space for anything else. I wouldn't have space for allowing
- 14:26Speaker 2: myself to move around. I wouldn't have space for all
- 14:29Speaker 2: the things that are in my life right now, this
- 14:31Speaker 2: this love and stuff that I feel. Even though it's scary,
- 14:36Speaker 2: I still feel it and it's scary because it's just unfamiliar.
- 14:40Speaker 3: So is it really.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Scary or do I want to redefine what that word
- 14:43Speaker 2: means or those feelings that I'm feeling right now. Maybe
- 14:46Speaker 2: that's not anxiety. Maybe it's more like a butterfly. Maybe
- 14:49Speaker 2: it's more of like excitement. It's changing our definitions of words,
- 14:54Speaker 2: so we're not putting ourselves in that same program that
- 14:57Speaker 2: every time this happens or this happens, this is the
- 15:00Speaker 2: emotion that I'm going to have from it. That's what
- 15:02Speaker 2: we've been doing. We've been operating from these patterns. That's
- 15:05Speaker 2: how we've been living our lives. From the child space.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I have been living in, from my child space. It's
- 15:11Speaker 2: so ridiculous. You've said this before so many times, talked
- 15:15Speaker 2: about well, you know you're still I mean, you haven't
- 15:18Speaker 2: said it to me like any way like this, but
- 15:20Speaker 2: you know you're still operating from your seven year old self.
- 15:22Speaker 2: You know, your seven year old self is getting in
- 15:23Speaker 2: the vehicle right now to drive down the road and
- 15:26Speaker 2: to behave a certain way from that seven year old's attitude,
- 15:29Speaker 2: from that seven year old that wasn't seen in her,
- 15:31Speaker 2: from that seven year old that got their butts banked
- 15:33Speaker 2: and stuck in a corner for something they didn't even
- 15:35Speaker 2: do wrong. You know, it's that same person that's showing up,
- 15:38Speaker 2: and it's like, that's not the that's not that's all programming.
- 15:42Speaker 2: That is like Windows ninety three right there. We have
- 15:45Speaker 2: got to update. We cannot operate in this environment any
- 15:49Speaker 2: longer from that space still spinning exactly exactly, but at
- 15:55Speaker 2: least I knew what it looked like when I was
- 15:56Speaker 2: reformatting my hard drive, So you.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Know, I gotta be freg that's right.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yes, Now, I just ask spirit to recalibrate me. Recalibrate me.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I sit still, be quiet, and I'll sit nice and tall,
- 16:11Speaker 2: and I'll sit there and I'll say, recalibrate me, and
- 16:14Speaker 2: then just see what sensations come up. See what you
- 16:16Speaker 2: notice in your body. I'll start noticing our set up
- 16:18Speaker 2: a little bit straighter. Everything kind of aligns differently. But
- 16:21Speaker 2: we don't know until we start having these conversations. We
- 16:24Speaker 2: don't know until we start sharing with people experiences that
- 16:28Speaker 2: we have, which.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Is what we do. We share it.
- 16:31Speaker 2: It may not always be pretty, but the end result
- 16:34Speaker 2: is something good came from it every single time.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it was in a We had a life coach
- 16:45Speaker 1: who came and did a presentation at one of our
- 16:47Speaker 1: meetings and one of the things that she teaches people
- 16:51Speaker 1: is this, put your hand on your heart and one
- 16:54Speaker 1: hand on your abdomen and then tune in and think
- 16:58Speaker 1: of one word describes how you feel right now, and
- 17:05Speaker 1: then explore that. If you feel excited, great, but if
- 17:11Speaker 1: it's you know, if it's if there's something on a
- 17:13Speaker 1: lower vibrational frequency, so shame, gilt, anger, fear, judgment, all that,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you know, all those things, unrest, uh, even tired, you know,
- 17:24Speaker 1: just tune into your body. Then that's what you're saying,
- 17:27Speaker 1: is tuning into your body and listen to it more
- 17:30Speaker 1: because your body actually has has a lot to say
- 17:33Speaker 1: to you if you take the time to tune into
- 17:36Speaker 1: it and receive that information.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yep, and it's very freeing because guess what, you're not
- 17:50Speaker 2: blaming anybody else, You're not You're not saying to anybody else.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Here's my power. Now you have control over me. You're
- 17:57Speaker 2: not We're not saying any of those things. We're actually
- 17:58Speaker 2: taking back our power, actually looking into the body.
- 18:02Speaker 3: We're not shooting the messenger.
- 18:03Speaker 2: That's the one that's creating the trigger or you know,
- 18:06Speaker 2: showing up for the play to hit an emotional situation
- 18:11Speaker 2: that you thought you had a handle on, but you
- 18:14Speaker 2: still have some looking at it to do some processing. Yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 2: so you're not running around like that seven year old
- 18:23Speaker 2: a freaking vehicle like a jack wagon.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Road rage exactly.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Well, then we come back to that self talk. So
- 18:35Speaker 1: the more the more you lean into the way you
- 18:39Speaker 1: talk to yourself and embrace those words that you're saying
- 18:43Speaker 1: about yourself, then you when you go out in public
- 18:49Speaker 1: and you're around other people, they're going to match the
- 18:51Speaker 1: way you're treating you. And it might feel weird at
- 19:00Speaker 1: first because you are embracing you and having these great
- 19:07Speaker 1: words to say to yourself in the mirror. I would
- 19:09Speaker 1: suggest doing it in the mirror, and then you go
- 19:13Speaker 1: out into public and somebody actually says the same thing
- 19:17Speaker 1: to you. So if I look at the mirror, I'm like,
- 19:18Speaker 1: oh my gosh, you're so beautiful. That's between me and me.
- 19:23Speaker 1: That's a private conversation, and I'm okay with that. But
- 19:26Speaker 1: when I go out into public and somebody says, oh
- 19:29Speaker 1: my gosh, you're so beautiful, this immense uncomfortable feeling shows
- 19:35Speaker 1: up inside because now I don't know how to receive
- 19:37Speaker 1: those words from somebody, a stranger or even somebody I know.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I guess super uncomfortable. But the fact is they are
- 19:47Speaker 1: matching how you're talking to yourself. They're just the external
- 19:52Speaker 1: version of you saying, yeah, there's validating what you just
- 19:55Speaker 1: said to yourself, and you're like resisting a gift, sing
- 20:00Speaker 1: a compliment. And that takes practice. It takes a lot
- 20:06Speaker 1: of practice to be able to be on that receiving
- 20:08Speaker 1: end for somebody to be matching the way you are
- 20:11Speaker 1: treating yourself.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And these days everybody's inn immediate mirror. Everything seems to
- 20:20Speaker 2: be happening fast, Matt. You know, all of it is,
- 20:25Speaker 2: all of it, Every single thing is happening fast. It's
- 20:28Speaker 2: like being aware of how you're thinking, being aware of
- 20:31Speaker 2: what you're creating, being aware of what you're listening to.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And it sounds like it's your micromanaging, but it's like
- 20:37Speaker 2: you're not micromanaging.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You're actually in the boat and you're navigating.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That's a good word. I like navigating.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Something else I heard the other day.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Instead of people saying I'm spending money, I'm going to
- 20:53Speaker 2: go out and circulate money, I'm going to circulate because
- 20:56Speaker 2: we're not spending it, you're circulating it. And I thought,
- 21:00Speaker 2: that's again redefining words that we've used in the past,
- 21:04Speaker 2: but making it different because we don't when you say that,
- 21:08Speaker 2: I don't have there's no heaviness, there's nothing, no restrictions.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I don't feel like there's a roadblock anywhere. I feel
- 21:14Speaker 2: like everything's open and it's nice and flowing. That we
- 21:19Speaker 2: just don't know until we start playing with this stuff.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Funny, he says, you say it's funny. You say that
- 21:25Speaker 1: because it's gonna be a whole nother conversation. So I
- 21:28Speaker 1: don't want to go out a tangent. But it's just
- 21:29Speaker 1: funny that you said that, because recently, over a period
- 21:34Speaker 1: of time, off and on. It's not a continuous thinking,
- 21:38Speaker 1: but off and on, I think, Okay, so this is
- 21:43Speaker 1: a good example. At work, we had an event and
- 21:49Speaker 1: I bought Now I of course I get in for
- 21:51Speaker 1: free because a lot of times I'm working anyway. But whatever,
- 21:56Speaker 1: So I bought three tickets I paid for are three
- 22:00Speaker 1: tickets for three other people. And I'm like, okay, So
- 22:04Speaker 1: now I'm taking that from my bank account. It's going
- 22:08Speaker 1: into my employer's bank account, and then it's gonna come
- 22:13Speaker 1: back because they gotta pay me. And so you're right, like,
- 22:17Speaker 1: that's a great Like you're just circulating that money. It's
- 22:20Speaker 1: just going through the motions of being utilized as a
- 22:27Speaker 1: tool for whatever it is we need or want to do.
- 22:32Speaker 1: So no, I love that word, and I love that
- 22:34Speaker 1: you said that because that makes more sense now because
- 22:38Speaker 1: that wasn't a word that came to mind when I
- 22:41Speaker 1: was thinking about all that. So when people people that
- 22:46Speaker 1: I know, okay, people that I know, when they're like, yeah,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'll buy two tickets or whatever, I'm like, great, thanks
- 22:54Speaker 1: for supporting my wages, you know. So they're circulating that,
- 22:57Speaker 1: they're taking it out, they're putting it into our account,
- 23:00Speaker 1: and then that comes through us as employees or our expenses,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and now it's going out to our home expenses and things,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and and to pay for the expenses and stuff operating
- 23:12Speaker 1: costs of the business. And now it's going out into
- 23:15Speaker 1: those people's accounts and employees. So as Yeah, it's just
- 23:20Speaker 1: a circulation of abundance and prosperity and.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Affluence exactly when we look at things differently. Yeah, it
- 23:28Speaker 2: just change. It changes our lives. It changes our lives,
- 23:31Speaker 2: and it changes the lives of people around us. Yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 2: spending doesn't seem like it ever has a It doesn't.
- 23:41Speaker 2: It always has an end because you it's like a
- 23:44Speaker 2: constant flow out. It's not an ebb and flow. It's
- 23:47Speaker 2: not coming back in. It's just like constantly going.
- 23:49Speaker 1: It's just that I'm giving it and I'm getting nothing
- 23:51Speaker 1: in return, which is actually it's not true, because you are.
- 23:55Speaker 1: If you're putting out money, then you are getting something
- 23:59Speaker 1: in return for it. Yes, So even that credit card
- 24:04Speaker 1: bill that you are paying on, you got something out
- 24:07Speaker 1: of it. You use that credit card for something you
- 24:09Speaker 1: wanted or needed yep, and now you have to pay
- 24:12Speaker 1: it or you don't have to, but you're choosing to
- 24:14Speaker 1: make the payment. So when you're making that payment that
- 24:19Speaker 1: you know you cringe because you barely have anything in
- 24:21Speaker 1: your in your bank account. But the fact is, it's
- 24:24Speaker 1: the blessing that that credit card was available, and that
- 24:28Speaker 1: business trusted that you are going to pay them back
- 24:32Speaker 1: because they upfronted you some money to get what you
- 24:35Speaker 1: wanted or needed. So the gratitude, yep. So yeah, we
- 24:40Speaker 1: could have a whole another video on all that. So
- 24:43Speaker 1: we'll just come back to having great self talk with yourself.
- 24:46Speaker 1: So maybe that's something you add in that your prosperity
- 24:51Speaker 1: is is a part of that self talk in the
- 24:59Speaker 1: sense that you a circulating your abundance with other people,
- 25:04Speaker 1: other businesses, and as you're circulating out and then that
- 25:09Speaker 1: circulation means it goes like Bev said, it's an ebb
- 25:13Speaker 1: and float, it's a give and take. It goes out
- 25:15Speaker 1: and it comes back. And we think about the ocean waves.
- 25:18Speaker 1: It's going to come in and then it's going to recede,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and then it's going to come in. It's gonna recede.
- 25:22Speaker 1: And so make that part of yourself talk that you
- 25:27Speaker 1: are part of this collective process of circulating paper and metals,
- 25:35Speaker 1: because that's really all it is paper and metals and
- 25:40Speaker 1: or minerals or whatever the other coins are made out of,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and and and it's energy and your energy. And so
- 25:50Speaker 1: when you have better self talk, then the goodness shows
- 25:54Speaker 1: up because now you're you're bringing in goodness and when
- 25:58Speaker 1: you're bringing in, you're gonna autumn send it out. When
- 26:01Speaker 1: you send it out, it's got to come back. So
- 26:04Speaker 1: get into that flow and you simple process. Just start
- 26:09Speaker 1: with yourself, start with that amazing self talk and listening
- 26:13Speaker 1: to your body, because your body is also when you
- 26:15Speaker 1: when you feel that tightness of you don't have much
- 26:19Speaker 1: money in your account and you have to give out
- 26:21Speaker 1: and you feel that like you feel your hand gripping
- 26:24Speaker 1: and you feel the tenseness in your body. That's the
- 26:27Speaker 1: energy you're putting out there as well. And so you
- 26:30Speaker 1: want to be mindful that that it's just all energy
- 26:36Speaker 1: and it's circulating.
- 26:40Speaker 3: All the time.
- 26:41Speaker 2: And then when you think it like that, it actually
- 26:43Speaker 2: feels nice. It feels easy people. Yeah, and that's important.
- 26:51Speaker 2: That's important. And then it's like bringing all the things
- 26:54Speaker 2: that you want to come into your life, you know,
- 26:56Speaker 2: being happy, so that more happy people are showing up
- 26:58Speaker 2: in your experience.
- 27:00Speaker 3: It's wonderful. It's wonderful.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And you don't know until you start playing with all
- 27:05Speaker 2: that information on a daily basis, and is play play
- 27:11Speaker 2: with it?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yes, I always say I practice, practice, practice, and that
- 27:15Speaker 1: seems like a lot of work, But just play with it.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Start talking to yourself in the mirror, and then notice
- 27:21Speaker 1: what types of people show up in the world around you, exactly,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and notice the things that they are saying to you,
- 27:29Speaker 1: or even maybe their tone. Maybe instead of an aggressive tone,
- 27:34Speaker 1: now you're coming around people who have a softer tone,
- 27:37Speaker 1: more a tone that is at ease, more more relaxed
- 27:41Speaker 1: when they're speaking to you. They're not all tensed up
- 27:43Speaker 1: and on hyper speed or anything like that. So just
- 27:48Speaker 1: play with it and notice it. And there's no how
- 28:00Speaker 1: can you think that those would be anything bad. I'm
- 28:04Speaker 1: saying nice things to myself in the mirror, looking at myself,
- 28:07Speaker 1: saying something nice to me, and then I go out
- 28:10Speaker 1: in the world and people start saying nice things to me. Also.
- 28:13Speaker 1: It's like that's a win win, just saying might I
- 28:18Speaker 1: want to give it a try?
- 28:19Speaker 2: I give it a try, start playing with it.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Just a thought. I mean, I'm just key. You don't
- 28:26Speaker 1: have to, but you know, kind of suggest it.
- 28:30Speaker 3: You could be happy.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Wait, what all those things we've been asking for and
- 28:37Speaker 1: they show up and then we're like, no, I can't
- 28:40Speaker 1: handle it.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Stop.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, okay.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Okay, AnyWho, I hope you got something out of this
- 28:49Speaker 1: video and in our words that we shared of wisdom
- 28:54Speaker 1: and knowledge that we too have practiced over many years
- 28:58Speaker 1: and still practicing. We are not out of the woods.
- 29:01Speaker 1: We still have practicing to do and and playing. BEV
- 29:05Speaker 1: and I play on a regular with our I probably
- 29:09Speaker 1: shouldn't say that that way, It's likely you better not
- 29:13Speaker 1: say that.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, we you know.
- 29:16Speaker 1: We play in the sense of talking to ourselves in
- 29:21Speaker 1: good ways and and changing that energetic vibration and see
- 29:25Speaker 1: what see what shows up in the world as we
- 29:27Speaker 1: go out into the world. And so give it a go,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and you can, you know, leave us comments on if
- 29:34Speaker 1: you if you did practice and and how did it
- 29:39Speaker 1: turn out? Like we like to hear those stories as well.
- 29:42Speaker 1: If you're listening to videos, I know we have a lot,
- 29:44Speaker 1: we have a lot of people who listen to these videos,

- 30:10Speaker 1: us to talk about, you could leave that in the
- 30:12Speaker 1: comments as well. We could certainly add that to a conversation.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Bev and I typically don't plan conversations, but if we're
- 30:20Speaker 1: given a suggestion, we can weave it in. So with that,
- 30:26Speaker 1: there are other people who are having these conversations as well,
