- 2:29Speaker 1: live right here on our YouTube channel only. And currently,
- 2:34Speaker 1: we're digging behind the headlines about the crash, okay? And
- 2:40Speaker 1: we're going to continue that deep dive this Friday. And
- 2:44Speaker 1: this Friday, we are looking beyond. what we learned in
- 2:49Speaker 1: the Netflix documentary, The Crash, about Dominic Russo. We did Mackenzie.
- 2:56Speaker 1: This week, we are doing Dominic. Next week, we will
- 2:59Speaker 1: do Davian. Unless I decide to do Mackenzie and Dom
- 3:05Speaker 1: as a couple. Anyway, don't miss out, okay? You want
- 3:09Speaker 1: to grab your snacks, come settle in with us and
- 3:14Speaker 1: be there because Llama doesn't know as much about this case.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So I am looking forward to her going, what the hell? Okay. Now,
- 3:27Speaker 1: before we get into today's cases, I want to let
- 3:31Speaker 1: you know there is an active Amber Alert for Diana
- 3:35Speaker 1: Galvez Ortega, age 14. She was last seen around Salinas,
- 3:41Speaker 1: California on August 4th. Now, she was seen with her father,
- 3:48Speaker 1: Sergio Galvez Perez, age 38, or as I'm calling him, POS, okay? Now,
- 3:55Speaker 1: they haven't been seen since August 4th, but a newborn
- 3:59Speaker 1: infant was found deceased on August 1st, which is suspected
- 4:03Speaker 1: of being Diana and Sergio's child. Guys, Diana is a victim.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Sergio is wanted on multiple sex crimes, okay? Now, police
- 4:15Speaker 1: believe Sergio took Diane and ran after the newborn was
- 4:19Speaker 1: found deceased. Now, if you see either of these individuals,
- 4:24Speaker 1: please do not try to talk to either one of them.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Monterey police are saying that would not be a great idea. Instead,
- 4:33Speaker 1: they want you to call the Monterey County Sheriff's Office
- 4:36Speaker 1: at 831-759-7279. Okay, guys, because He sounds like a bad dude. Now,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I also want to let you guys know I'm having
- 4:50Speaker 1: a little bit of technical problems that we are working on, okay?
- 4:55Speaker 1: And if I all of a sudden go silent, it
- 4:58Speaker 1: means that my whole screen has gone black for a moment.
- 5:02Speaker 1: We don't know why it's happening, and we're hoping to
- 5:04Speaker 1: address it as soon as this is over. Now, Nebraska
- 5:09Speaker 1: is often pictured as endless farmland, but... nearly one quarter
- 5:15Speaker 1: of the state is covered by the Nebraska Sandhills. Okay.
- 5:19Speaker 1: One of the largest intact grass stabilized sand dune regions
- 5:24Speaker 1: in the world. I've actually seen it, one of their
- 5:27Speaker 1: sand dunes, and it was pretty cool. Beneath much of
- 5:30Speaker 1: the state lies the massive Ogalla Aquifer, making groundwater an
- 5:36Speaker 1: important part of Nebraska's landscape and their agriculture history. Now,
- 5:44Speaker 1: In case you didn't know, I didn't know, Nebraska is
- 5:46Speaker 1: also the birthplace of Arbor Day, which was first celebrated
- 5:51Speaker 1: in 1872 when an estimated 1 million trees were planted. Wowza, okay?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Another distinctive piece of Nebraska history is its nickname, the
- 6:04Speaker 1: Cornhusker State, which comes from the days when corn was
- 6:08Speaker 1: harvested by hand And workers literally removed or husked the
- 6:13Speaker 1: corn from its stalks, okay? Now, in Nebraska today, there
- 6:18Speaker 1: is 88 active missing person cases. And guys, that is
- 6:22Speaker 1: 88 people who have loved ones waiting for answers. Guys,
- 6:30Speaker 1: just one family having to wait is too much. 88
- 6:34Speaker 1: is unacceptable. So let's do what little part we can.
- 6:44Speaker 1: So on June 16th, 1990, Shirley Leona Sprang was in
- 6:49Speaker 1: Two Rivers, Wisconsin when she got into an argument with
- 6:52Speaker 1: her mother, Lila Dee. After the argument, oh, sorry, I
- 6:59Speaker 1: was getting a message. After the argument, Shirley climbed into
- 7:02Speaker 1: a taxi and left and her family never saw or
- 7:06Speaker 1: heard from her again. So one taxi ride, one disappearance,
- 7:11Speaker 1: and decades of unanswered questions. And I'm sure you're wondering
- 7:16Speaker 1: why we're in Nebraska. Just stay tuned. For more than
- 7:22Speaker 1: six years, there were no confirmed sightings of Shirley and
- 7:26Speaker 1: no answers about where she had gone. Her family was
- 7:30Speaker 1: left wondering what had happened after that taxi pulled away
- 7:34Speaker 1: and where Shirley's life had taken her. Then unexpectedly, on
- 7:39Speaker 1: December 19th, 1996, police in Lincoln, Nebraska had contact with Shirley.
- 7:46Speaker 1: That encounter more than six years after she left Wisconsin
- 7:50Speaker 1: became the last confirmed contact with her. Now, guys, I
- 7:57Speaker 1: tried to find out why the police were in contact
- 8:01Speaker 1: with Shirley in Lincoln, Nebraska in December of 96. I
- 8:05Speaker 1: couldn't find anything, okay? But it leads me to believe
- 8:10Speaker 1: she was running from something. Hopefully she's not been trafficked
- 8:15Speaker 1: and didn't reach out to the police for help. Or
- 8:19Speaker 1: does she not want to be found? There have been
- 8:22Speaker 1: no sightings or contact with Shirley since 1996, okay? And
- 8:30Speaker 1: the gap between those two confirmed points in Shirley's story
- 8:33Speaker 1: leaves enormous questionments like, Why did you leave Two Rivers, Wisconsin,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and then show up in Lincoln, Nebraska? Okay, what were
- 8:43Speaker 1: you doing during that time? Are you okay? What brought
- 8:46Speaker 1: you to Nebraska? But most importantly, what happened after police
- 8:53Speaker 1: encountered her there? Now, Shirley is a white female with
- 8:57Speaker 1: blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet
- 9:00Speaker 1: to 5 feet 7 inches, weighs about 120 and 160 pounds. Now,
- 9:07Speaker 1: Shirley has scarring on both arms from psoriasis, okay? Now, today,
- 9:15Speaker 1: Shirley remains missing, and her family still seeks answers as
- 9:18Speaker 1: to where and what happened. If you have any information
- 9:22Speaker 1: about Shirley Leona Springs' whereabouts or what may have happened
- 9:27Speaker 1: to her, please contact the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department at 920. 683-4216.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And also, guys, be sure you can go to our
- 9:42Speaker 1: Midday Missing Facebook page or any of Terry True Crime's
- 9:45Speaker 1: social media pages. Share the missing person posters that will
- 9:49Speaker 1: go up after we finish today. Now, if you know
- 9:58Speaker 1: of or if you have a loved one missing and
- 10:00Speaker 1: are interested in having their story featured on an upcoming episode,
- 10:05Speaker 1: or maybe join us for a live interview, please contact
- 10:09Speaker 1: us by emailing me, terri, T-E-R-I, at tcwtmedia.com, or you
- 10:16Speaker 1: can contact us through all of our social media accounts.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I'm everywhere out there, guys. You can reach out. Next up,
- 10:27Speaker 1: we move to Wayne Thompson. On March 31st, 1976, 32-year-old
- 10:34Speaker 1: Wayne Leroy Thompson was last seen in his hometown of Kearney, Nebraska.
- 10:41Speaker 1: At the time, Wayne worked as an over-the-road trucker I
- 10:45Speaker 1: think nowadays we call them long haul truckers. And it's
- 10:49Speaker 1: a job that would have him traveling long distances as
- 10:52Speaker 1: a part of his everyday life. But when Wayne disappeared
- 10:56Speaker 1: on March 31st, 1976, he left all of his belongings
- 11:01Speaker 1: behind at his home, except for his red Ford pickup truck,
- 11:05Speaker 1: which also disappeared with him, which makes law enforcement and
- 11:10Speaker 1: myself think the vehicle left with him. Okay. Now, Wayne
- 11:16Speaker 1: was 32 years old when he disappeared. He is a
- 11:19Speaker 1: white male with blonde hair and green eyes. He stood
- 11:22Speaker 1: about 5'9 to 5'11, weighed about 150 pounds. When Wayne
- 11:28Speaker 1: was last seen, he was wearing a Western-style shirt and
- 11:32Speaker 1: cowboy boots. Now, just March 31st of this year marked
- 11:37Speaker 1: 50 years since Wayne disappeared. He would be 82 today. Guys,
- 11:43Speaker 1: for half a century, there have been no known resolutions
- 11:47Speaker 1: to his case. His pickup truck has never been seen either. Now,
- 11:53Speaker 1: if you have any information about the disappearance of Wayne
- 11:57Speaker 1: Leroy Thompson or the location of this red 1967 Ford
- 12:03Speaker 1: pickup truck, please contact the Nebraska State Patrol at 402-479-4986. Guys,
- 12:07Speaker 1: 50 years is an extraordinarily long time to wait for answers, okay?
- 12:19Speaker 1: Please share Wayne's story and let's help his family get
- 12:25Speaker 1: some answers, okay? Now, don't forget if you're on Facebook
- 12:31Speaker 1: to join our Midday Missing Facebook group because that's where
- 12:34Speaker 1: we share all of our missing person posters along with
- 12:38Speaker 1: other missing person cases that deserve more attention, okay? Every
- 12:43Speaker 1: share helps put these names and faces in front of
- 12:46Speaker 1: more people. And guys, you never know who might recognize
- 12:49Speaker 1: someone or have information that can make a difference. And
- 12:54Speaker 1: like I said, if you're not on the book face,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I also share our posters across my Terry True Crime
- 13:00Speaker 1: social media pages so that everyone has the opportunity to
- 13:04Speaker 1: help spread the words. Now, and while you're there, make
- 13:08Speaker 1: sure you follow us on all of our social media platforms,
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's the best way to stay connected, join the conversation,
- 13:15Speaker 1: keep up with what's coming, and see what's going on
- 13:18Speaker 1: in our crazy, crazy life. Now, guys, this week, True
- 13:25Speaker 1: Crime and Wine Time airs every Thursday, and we are

- 13:34Speaker 1: deep dive into the insane case of Sarah Hartsfield, because
- 13:40Speaker 1: murderer arsonist, veteran. There's a lot of names we could
- 13:46Speaker 1: call her. But you want to go catch up on
- 13:50Speaker 1: the first six episodes because part seven is going to
