- King of Kings and it's about time our nation return and have a submission to his Lordship. You are not protecting women. You are authorizing the destruction of 500,000 little women every year. I didn't start, but sure, with all due respect. That's the argument of a five hero. I didn't start. Right when the spirit comes upon people they go to war. They go to battle and the enemies of God are driven back and they're slaughtered. You are listening to Cross-Politik with Gabe Wresch, the water boy, Pastor Toby Sumter and the Chocolate Nox. Let's politics live at the Fat Five Feast Conference. Yes. I got Boomer right there. I'm deaf on one ear so we put Boomer close to me. I can't, I can't, I got my, there we go. Are we giving away T-shirts? What's that? Again. Someone bought me ice cream. I mentioned ice cream. Where's the rest of our ice cream? They're just racist. I'll share. I'll share. I'm going to apply what Michael Foster was teaching. Peace brother. That's not peace. Ice cream privilege. Yes, no, total privilege. I don't know what flavor it is. I can't tell. It's good. And I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me. But it's that, it's that caramel sea salt ice cream that's. I mean, you just see it in my eyes right now. I'm just changing right before you. Yeah, the diabetes is acting up. How much is so good? That's a coma. Three food goops that are going to be in heaven. Goops. Goops. Our barbecue. Scotch and ice cream. Those are food groups. You didn't. You never would have thought of that way. You know, it's been really fun, Gabe, having you MC because we've been sitting up there, you know, with your mom. And every few minutes we hear say, oh, just stop, Gabe. Stop now. Stop now. Good thing my mom doesn't have a Twitter account. I think we should have like a like a contest or something during the during the next conference for people to like keep track of gabisms. Oh, that'd be great. Yeah, like like just like the top 10 gabisms. One of the ones you've said several times, I don't know if you've noticed, is give them a round of a hand. Did I say that? Oh, yeah, give them a round of a hand. What's a round of a hand? So they know, they know you all know. Come on, give me a round of a hand. Yeah, don't help him. This is why he's not better. You guys are only encouraging this. And they love it. It's like all you people are from Texas or something. That's right. Take a bite of that ice cream. We're taking a picture of it right there. There you go. I'm taking a picture of this gabism right now on stage. Well, thank you for joining us. It's been great to have you. And we are really thankful to have two gassos with us. You're wearing a pink hat. It's not pink. I just noticed it. It's not pink. I don't believe you did that. Now, if I wore a hat, it'd be salmon. It would be pink. But this is red. Okay. It looks really pink right now. Red is not pink. It looks pretty pink. Is it pink? Are you colorblind? Who said it's pink? Who said yes? The kid said it's pink. I want this person out here. I don't know, pink hat. Knox does not wear pink hats. She's part of the Antifa Bro Des. Security almost didn't let me in because they thought I was part of Antifa. I just want everybody to know that. That's because you have a pink hat. I don't think it was the hat, but okay. Yeah, man. We were really grateful to have with us two special guests. Pastor Bogomil Yarmulak, how bad did I bot your name? It was pretty good. We all call him Pastor Boo Boo. Wait, say that again? Bogomil Yarmulak. I've known you for years and not known that's been your name. That's the name his mama gave him. You'll never have asked. I'm glad we had this moment. This is the part of the evening where we're kind of done with content. No, no, no, no. We're here to have fun. There's got to get somewhere. We're going to get somewhere. But Pastor Boo Boo is from Poland. He really does go by Boo Boo. And he goes by Boo Boo because I actually just found this out. I was just in Ukraine with Pastor Boo Boo in July. Because he had to hang out with me and he's like, I'm going to give him the easiest name possible. Boo Boo. You call me Gabe? No, no. He called me Boo Boo. He was actually nicknamed Boo Boo after the character in the Yogi Bear cartoon. No, hey, Boo Boo. As a kid. You don't even know what that is. That's hilarious. Yeah, it was really, I was like, I just, I was like a Polish thing. Like, that's what they do. You know, with Bogomil, they certainly just know nobody does that. They just did it with me because of the cartoon. I was just thought that was really crazy. G-Yogi, the ranger says you shouldn't steal that picnic basket. Pastor Boo Boo is also the presiding minister of Huss Presbyterry, which is part of the CREC, which is the central European CREC Presbyterry. I guess maybe it's the whole European Presbyterry. I don't know. Yeah, you're getting there. Eurasian. Eurasian. Okay, okay. All the way to Tokyo. All the way to Tokyo and up to Norway. I heard. Yeah, we got some Norwegians here that one fellow won the sword and I was wondering how he's going to get it back to Norway. I got it. I was like, hey, I'll take that for you. My ice cream is falling apart. Gave's had enough. And, uh, Pastor Boo Boo grew up under Communism. And, uh, and we're going to talk about propaganda. Um, and, uh, and I think he's going to have some, uh, some fantastic, um, and, and, and harrowing things to tell us about that. He's seen it firsthand, uh, for all his life. Also, great, full to have with us. The great Doug Teneeple. Cree. He grew up in Communistick Franklin. That's why they're protesting us right now. Communist Glendale, California. I was going to say California. Comedy, California. I mean, I don't know what it really is, but this place is getting there. Yeah. Um, but, uh, you know, creator of Earthworm Jim. And, I don't know what else. Other things. War propaganda. Yeah. So he's been involved in, uh, all kinds of artistic propaganda in that world for decades. So thank you to both of you for being with us. Super grateful, uh, for your friendship. We've had you both on the show. Multiple times in the past and it's, it's awesome to have you here with us. The theme of the conference, of course, this week has been holy wars. And, uh, and we've tried to push this into a number of different corners, but, uh, with every war, uh, comes an information war. That's always, and in many respects, maybe even the more fundamental war that's going on. A war about truth. A war about what's really going on in the world. So I'd like to ask each of you to take a turn. I'm going to start with Pastor Boo Boo. And I'd like you just to, you know, as I say propaganda and war. Um, I'd love to just hear you talk about, you know, how have you experienced that? What is it? Why is it so dangerous? Why is it so potent? Um, and, um, and, and what comes to mind? You're in propaganda. Yes. Well, about maybe we should define propaganda. I would love for you too. Me? Yes. Where's mine? It's coming, right there. Where's mine? You want some? Heck yeah. Yes. Boo Boo, you just said I've been asleep for 14 hours. I don't think I need whiskey right now. So he just literally told me back, back there. Change my mind. All right. Boo Boo, literally, Boo Boo. Well, I think the first propaganda is based on facts, on truth, right? And I think this, this is why it's, it's so hard to resist it or even to spot it. Because propaganda is not like people tell lies and want to deceive us. It's, it's like the serpent in the garden, right? Basically the serpent was, was true, what we said. There was one interpretation that was wrong, which was like, oh God doesn't want to give you this and that. But all the other stuff that we said was true. And this is how propaganda works. It's like selective truth. I think that now the facts are true, the interpretation is twisted. And it's nuanced. And this, this is why it's so hard to spot it. When you were growing up in Poland, was there any propaganda? There was, there was nothing but propaganda. There was nothing but propaganda. And I think that the commies were so much better at propaganda than Netflix. Netflix is, there are kids here as I will, I will not give you an example. But this is like really bad propaganda needs to be attractive, right? It needs to be appealing to people. And people shouldn't even notice that this is propaganda. But when you watch some of this Netflix shows, it's so obvious that, you know, like I and Rand would say that it preached really bad sermon through this show, to people. And this is why, come on, there is no appeal in this. I think that the commies and the Soviets were much better at this. But nevertheless, what made the communist propaganda better? Because the communist propaganda actually knew that they have to, they had to tell really good stories. We had to read this story about Soviet heroes, one of them was a Soviet pilot that was shot over Siberia and then he, he, well, he was basically like, what was his name? The guy with duct tape. The duct tape guy. The duct tape guy. The duct tape guy. The guy with duct tape guy. Yes. The duct tape guy. How did you all get? I don't know who that is. Wow, you guys are brilliant. No, we're lottery. No, we don't. I think that the stories were much better and they were actually based on true artistry. Especially in the early days of the Soviet Union, they had these poets like Mayakovsky and this was real artistry and this is why the Soviet propaganda at first was so much more appealing, attractive, and convincing. Are we good at spotting propaganda in the modern Christian church? Even in Netflix or Komi propaganda? Yes. What's the difference? Just a message. Well, they mean between Netflix and Komi's. Isn't Netflix not a good thing Komi? I thought I had the jazz explained. Well, about the, I mean, we pay for Netflix. Some might take his drink. He did not need to drink. I mean, yeah. Well, the Komi's just came out of a coma. He was asleep for 14 hours. The Komi's were good because they, well, they're basically two schools of propaganda, right? The American one, the American one, and the Soviet one. I love America. But the Komi's were really good because they first sent kids to government schools and they had them with this very appealing stories about World War II or the Spanish War heroes. And it was like conditioning of the kids. And later, everybody just followed whatever was presented. It was all encompassing. It was appealing. It was meeting the needs. But at the same time, the Komi's knew that they needed two things. First, the collective. You are the collective. But they also had to break the collective into single individuals. Single individuals who don't trust each other, but follow the masses or the mass. So then there's no covenant groups, right? There's just your individual. Where are they to you here in that world? I'm a Presbyterian, so you know. No, actually. There's no, there was no covenant. I'm so interested in what you really wanted to say. There was no covenant because there was no friendship, right? They wanted to break the families. And you know, it of course changed since the Bolshevik revolution. And then like the 70s, Andrew, what was his name? Brezhnev. But especially at the beginning, they even constructed houses in a way that would break up the families ties. You were to eat at the Kanteen. You were to go to factory or office. And then attend these meetings where you would be fed even more propaganda like Lausa Sermons, or well, 1984, I think. Really, very nicely describes how the system worked. So wait, how do you like get people like a group to stay together but not trust each other? You're loyal. You're loyal. Can I just jump in real quick? Because I love what you just said about this. This is really important to point out. Covenant binds your loyalties together outside of them being unified in one entity. So I have covenant loyalties to my wife and family and my kids. I have covenant loyalties to my church and the people that I work with. And I have covenant loyalties to business and to the people that I either am underneath or over. What you do is you break those all away and you start doing things where guess what your welfare and health and care is right here inside of the state. Guess where all of your religion is taught to you inside the state because we're the ones that inform the HR departments of the businesses. Guess where everything about your family is right here inside the state. So they bring it and they move all your loyalties that are against the state into one place where you have to go there and you pledge to that. And that's what your focus is. When you have these other sphere of sovereignties, your loyalties are broken up and they're balanced between friends and you make it work here. And the state doesn't get to own everything. They're just one of the groups inside of your loyalties. But when you can break it all up to be individualistic, then you and the state have the biggest relationship and not you, your wife, your kids, your family, your business, your church, and the civic government. Pastor Wilson's used the analogy before. I think it's really helpful. A covenantal society is like a molecular structure with multiple bonds with different entities, family, the church, your business, your neighborhood, and so on. And your nation, all of those things. And so it's a balancing thing, but it also means that there's a thickness to the community. Whereas what collectivists want is everybody to be a BB. Yes. And so you're not actually connected. And if you get them greased a little bit, then you can just, you can make them all, you know, you just tip the drawer to the side and they all just slide over to one side. And I think that's what happened in a lot of respects during COVID. During COVID, it was just shh, and all the BBs just ran into the corner, put on the mask, stay home, close your business, don't go to church. And with some exceptions, where there were some of this molecular structure in place, and he said, no, I think we're going to go to school or we're going to have a church here. We're going to keep going to work and we're going to keep doing this. But if you don't have that molecular structure, that covenantal structure, you're easily hurtable. Yes. You turn into that herd, you turn into that collective, and you have to do what they say. You don't have a support structure otherwise. Doug. So you've worked for many decades in some ways kind of like in the Netflix propaganda world. 100%. 100% in entertainment and video games and comic books and all of this. Talk to us about the propaganda you have seen. How aware of this are people, do you think, in the industry? How much do people think like we are? I mean, the commies know what they're doing. Like, they're like, we've got to create this love for a Soviet way of life, a communist way of life. They're doing it very intentionally in this sort of religious way. We want to create this kind of world. How much of it did you see? How much of this is intentional? Like Boo Boo said, it's literally everywhere. Propaganda, I want to start with the definition of propaganda, if I may. Please. Propaganda was not a bad term until World War One. It was only a pejorative after World War One. Okay? Before that, people used the term propaganda. It just means, you know, the root word, propagate. It came from farmers. First, in the Catholic church, right around the 1500s, where in response to the Reformation, they put together a council to propagate the faith. And it came from a farmer's term. It's when you take a cutting off a branch and you splice it into another tree, and then you propagate that fruit. It's you're taking the DNA of something, this new idea that they had, and you're able to spread it. So they borrowed the term from the farmers to propagate, and they started making, it was Christian propaganda, but they were trying to tell people how to establish the faith. It simply was enabled by the printing press that allows people to print. There's nothing about the word propaganda that in and itself demands that the message be a lie. Obviously, that's an immoral form of propaganda, but so is it an immoral form of charity, to perform charity as a lie. So we don't condemn the tool for its misuse. And I would encourage Christians to take back propaganda. It's really just a way of saying, mass media, using a microphone, using the internet. You know, I learned more about Vody Bachum by watching his videos than sitting down and talking to him in person. I saw all of RC Sproul, Francis Schaeffer. I watched him before I ever read him, even Doug Wilson. That's propaganda. Good propaganda. Yeah. So I always want to convince the Christians and the kids that are in the comic books, video games, if you're going to go work in Hollywood or even worse for angel studios. It's like Hollywood for Mormons. But it's cool. It's cool. I worked for Mo Wach, so I can't complain over at Netflix. But so I just wanted to say that it only came around about World War I, that they really started lying with propaganda, bold face lies. And so a lie really needs the power of propaganda that you saw in Communism. And now you see today in America and Hollywood. So your kids are seeing propaganda 100% every day. Every day that they look at anything on their computer, it is all pushed and pulled by algorithms and AI. You guys all know about this. You are inoculating your kids if you tell them, this is all AI, by the way, and you're being used to want this product to fit in with this tribe. And I see it in Christians today. They'll ask in their opinion that it'll kind of be a little look to the right and look to the left before they put up their hand and respond. They're afraid of what their other tribe thinks, with the rest of the tribe thinks. That's a very bad instinct to put in your kid, to say before you think, look to the person to your right and left unless they're mentors of some kind. So we're all being influenced by propaganda. I want more Christians making good propaganda. Good mass media, good messaging in public. Good, good, good. And we have people telling kids like, you know, while we're spending our whole life like this on a phone, just whatever you guys do, don't contribute to the good messaging. Just consume, just need everything. Don't make the good message pastors. Don't put it on video and get it out to the world's largest free broadcasting network in the history of man that Paul would have cried over. Yeah, come on. Pretty, yeah. He goes out in the, he went out in the marketplace, not to talk to one or two people. This is, and by the way, AI is a way to get Christians to punch way above their place. It is a superpower. Superpower. I'm not appealing to power. I don't believe in power. If you want to go away and be a monk and do woodcuts and raise honey and your bees, that's just as Christian, okay? I'm not saying, I'm only saying if you're going, but then put the phone down. Do not consume if you do not produce. Do not consume. If you do not produce, quit like Dr. Grant said this morning, you know. Quit doing the bad, don't complain about the bad habits if you're not willing to do the good habits. It's kind of my message, but in the end, and I know that we've talked about covenant and I have a little bit of a warning on that, which is George Orrell wrote brilliantly in 1984, even though he was a socialist atheist scumbag. He wrote at the end of 1984, he was skeptical of covenant, that there was something that could stop big brother. He believed if you beat the hell out of someone long enough, if you torture them long enough, then you'll be smith with a rat cage on your face and you'll say, take her. He, George Orrell believed that family would not be a protection. Church would not be a protection. In the end, he believed that we were selfish, meat machines that would break down all of our moral contracts with each other, all family honor, all vows to God that eventually a secular state would break us all. That was his warning. We saw that in COVID. We gave her a way for a tweet. We closed our churches down for the tiniest amount of persecution. That was a test run. That was a canary in the coal mine. They tested it on COVID. We failed largely as a society. And that proved only that Orrell was right. Because we're the churches during COVID. I mean, most of them followed the instructions, right? With some very significant exceptions. And I think, again, largely would say we got an F on the report card. At the same time, Pastor MacArthur's Church, very quickly reversed course. That was very significant. And a bunch of people said, oh, now, it's a bummer that it took him doing that to make because everybody was looking around. Like you said, I mean, it's not just a little kid. It was pastors looking around. Are we going to obey? Are we going to obey? You've got a word from the Lord. You have a job to do. And you're looking around to see, are we going to do this? Our family left fellowship Bible here in town. I went to Dr. Grads' Church over that. Yeah. I just heard red rod dryers live not by lies, which is a quote of social needs. Do not live by lies first. And I just said, this church, if it all went down to it, this church had turned my family in. Oh, oh, oh, James Coats in Canada, the other pastor who took prison, Stephen's, Tim Stevens. I mean, those are some faithful men who actually did prison time for refusing to close their churches down. And I think that was the catalyst to wake up. I was trying to remember the name of the, I can never get a right marshmallow. And CS Lewis's story where the witches tell them that, you know, Narnie doesn't exist. Oh, oh. Was it with Marshmallow? Yeah, Marshmallow, thank you. Not Marshmallow. You call them Marshmallow. You know, it's the birth. That's like, I was thinking it's like, a person, Marshmallow. You figured it out. Like, give me a wave clap, whatever Gabe says. Marshmallow. Everybody, everybody got it. Maybe you got it. The reason the remix is Marshmallow. That's the remix, yes. But one of the things is that, like, I agree. And I understand that. But putting his foot in the fire. When they were forgetting, it just took him to do something that caused a little harm and little pain to wake everybody up. And so, like, that's the kind of, like, if we can just find one or two or a few. And that lit America and the West on fire. Even people who were not Christians were like, yes. And it was the, let's don't forget this in COVID. The only reason that we survived COVID was because of the Christians that live here in America. It wasn't the secularists. It was a secularist republicanism. It was Christians who feared God and wanted to go to church and worship and religion was the thing that allowed us to survive the takeover of the governments of the world. Let's not forget how big this was. This wasn't just one city shutting down. This was an opportunity of the world to take over the freedom of free people. And it was only a few people in a little place in California in Moscow and Florida. And a few other places that stopped all of them from taking over. So, I understand the point that's being made. But it didn't take a whole lot to turn it away. I was thinking about, as you were talking about your point, which is well taken, or I know it's a or well's point to say, like, you know, when it comes down to it, a lot of people fold. Oh, yeah. A lot of people who think they'll stand, they fold. And I was thinking about the first three centuries of the church. That's the same thing. And I thought, and you know, and the same thing happened in the first three centuries of the church, many professing Christians folded. When it came down to it, put the little pinch of incense on the altar to the deity of Caesar. Just a little pinch of incense. You're not like, you don't have to say anything. What does it mean? Yeah. Yeah. It means Caesar is Lord. Yeah. Right, they're next to Jesus. Right? And so many did, but some did not fold. And I think that's the thing that matters in these moments is that there'll be the faithful who say, you can, what kind of cage do they put on his head? Right, cage. There was a cage with a rat in it, because it knows what your biggest fear is. Yes. Smith's biggest fear was a rat. It was a rat. He was going to eat through his head. But you know, like, so you get to that point where you say, bring the rat. You can put all the rats in the cage. Bring my worst fear. Bring it. Bring it. And it was the fires of martyrdom. It was, it was those young, sometimes young women being sent to the lions, pleaded with by their own fathers. Please, with babies. Sorry, this is going dark for the kids. And they said, no, Jesus is worth it. Jesus is worth it. And like, like Pastor Michael Foster said just a minute ago, it turned, he's just a blink away. That's right. And glory, heaven, but, but I don't think that what was his name? Winston, right? I don't think that Winston, Winston actually tries to break out. Of the system. I think when we talk about propaganda in the context of 1984, we need to look at this mass meetings when people listen to these talks and shout, right? This is how propaganda works. I know there might be a good kind of propaganda. We can talk about this later, but Winston is, is, is an exception. It's a, it's the guy who wants to break out from this. But the people who are there and they basically stop thinking because they are provided with all the explanations. And they are provided with, well, when they shout, they think that they belong, that they are involved in something great, even though they don't accomplish nothing. I think this is what I mean when I say that in 1984, is a really good picture of how propaganda works. It provides this false feeling of being involved, belonging, and also having all the explanations. You're talking about the scream fest they would have. They would scream, they didn't even know what they were screaming at. They only knew that it was the other bad country or whatever it is that they were eternally a war with. The five minutes of hate. Yeah, five minutes of hate. Which sounds like, you know, just scream for whatever sides are on in politics, guys. Right. Scream, whatever side of the church are on. Scream. One of the things that I've noticed in propaganda, this is around COVID too, because I got to tell this story because this is, I think it's really important. Propaganda really works on people who do not have a focused attention to accomplish a particular in. Right, like it works on those people particularly well. Somebody who's really focused has a particular in and a drive to get somewhere. It doesn't work the same way on. And here's the example. I remember when COVID happened, I was like, oh man, I was more concerned about how crazy everybody else was going to act. So my first thing was, let me go buy some ammo. That was my first move. Like I don't, I wouldn't even worry about the virus. I'm like, these people are crazy. They don't believe all this. Let me go buy some ammo so I can defend my family. I was the first thing I did. So I bought a couple thousand rounds for everything I got. They made good money off of me. The second thing was I was like, okay, if this thing is real, what do I need to have? I'm going through, I'm doing some research. This is when I start researching the N95 mask and what's the best mask. And I'm like, none of these things work for what they say this thing is. And this is before they took all the information off the internet because before everybody knew, well, yeah, if it's a virus, good luck, buddy, you're catching it. And so I'm like, all right, well, I'm sitting there, me and my wife are talking and I'm looking at these N95 masks. I'm like, babe, which mask do you want? Do you want these black ones? They say they're supposed to be better. There's these blue ones or there's one that have like a filter on the side. And she's like, look, let me tell you something. I got kids. I got things to do. I got a family to raise. I'm going to let God be God. I ain't worried about this mess. And it hit me. It was like, yeah. Yeah. What are we doing? So I didn't buy the mask, but it was amazing to me how propaganda that came on was crazy. Over here in Italy, people are just falling out in the street. Bodies are being tripped over. It's people are trying to get coffees. Everybody's dying. And so if you're here and it's got Glenn Beck, who's reporting the stories and it's like, this is a trusted source. And it's like, whoa. And it's like, I was like, there's no way. Like we'd see videos of just people just, it would be everywhere. But it was just being perpetrated as like, this is what's going on. And it's like, you know what? How about I got things to do with my family? I got to train these kids. I have to go ahead and get to work. I got to get things done. And there's a particular vision that we have with our family that this does not fit into our story and narrative. So this is not going to be a part of our conversation. And so we were just going about doing our life watching everybody else, buy a ball of toilet paper. Like just think of like that. And they had a so frantic that toilet paper was missing in a pandemic toilet paper. Like why is it that we thought you know what I need? This is how smart Americans are. Right. They had so freaked out. They had a so moved. We were so unfocused. You're the wife with ammo. I had so much ammo that toilet paper was not going to be a problem for us. I'll tell you that. I'll tell you that right now. We was going to be all right. So you're saying, and I want to maybe maybe kick this to move in and dog, but one of the answers then, or maybe the central answer to all the propaganda is focus on your assignment. Keep focused on what God has put before you. And maybe this is part of also, I mean this maybe this deties into your point, dog about if you're going to be a consumer, you better be a producer. Because you've got work to do. Not just consume. But if you are just going to the screens, whether it's the 1984 screens or the screens in your pockets, if it's just going there to find out what's going on and what should I care about? What should I do today? What should I be worried about today? What should I freak out about today? The algorithm is running your life. Like someone else is running your life. Someone else is running your mind, your heart. Someone else is curating your life. That's not self-control. That's not self-government. That's not freedom. That's right. And to Boo Boo's point, I mean they're doing it with lots of bells and whistles and really moving music and imagery so that you can feel like I'm part of America buying all this toilet paper. You can feel like you're part of this team and you're part of this movement because of they make it all sexy. And we're not killing grandma. Right. Oh yeah. Love. Love is love. You're your neighbor. But if you're focused on the mission that God has given you, the assignments that God has given you, the tasks in front of you, you don't have time for this. Boo Boo's, I mean like I'm curious like how did you and your family? Like you see the problem. I mean, were you, was your family talking about the propaganda as you grew up? Were you guys, I mean, what do you, what do you, what if you're to the extent that you're part of, you know, the great resistance against Soviet communism and Poland? Which I think you are. We listen to radio free Europe. There we go. And the voice of America. But what, stop. How do you, how do you fight propaganda? How do you fight with Kevin Entrenuel Worship? Wait a second. Whoo. Lauren. Oh. Come on now. That was just a big jump. You went, how did we get there? How did we get there? It is. Explain. It is. I agree. Explain. Well, because we, we cannot fight with the people. Quality with quality. Now, quantity with quantity. We talked about this. Behind this page. Are you going to share it with us? No. I asked, I asked, we have quantity with a quality. Why don't we say that? There's a Marxist concept, right? We don't, to be Christian Marxists. But I think that we need, like 90 minutes, maybe 75 minutes, once a week to get detached from everything that, you know, gets to our minds through the phones and the TVs and everything else. Because this actually resets us so that we do not go insane. Oh. And it works like this, you know, it's not even your own initiative. You are being called. Then you say, Oh, I'm a sinner. But the propaganda never tells you that you're a sinner, right? Wow. And then, you know, you're being, you listen to the scriptures being read to you. Then you come to the table. I think you basically get out of this world to the top of the holy mountain, you know, so that you can reset. Not only your mind, but also your heart. And look at, what, look at everything that's happening during the week from different perspective. I think we need to, we need this reset once a week. So, so that we don't follow every simple explanation that is provided for us by the mass media, social media. That's so good. It seems to me that part of the way you're describing propaganda a minute ago too, which is like they gather together. They hear the message on the screen. They all shout or scream or there's this response. Like it's a liturgy. I've liturgy. It's a liturgy. Yeah. Well, in a way, it is a liturgy, but I think there is a significant difference because I go to church. I sit next to people, right? Real people. I listen to a guy who says something, preaches something, preaches his ribbon. But I can go to him, I can address him, I can confront him. Propaganda doesn't work like this. Because there is no person that you can go and address and question. It's nasty. It's nasty and it's impersonal. This is why online church is not really a church, right? Because there is no other person that I can... You can chat. That I can kick chat and... You can chat with the pastor on the chat. No. Sounds like Toby's done it before. Well, I'm not against like Christians using mass media, producing really good content. It is really important and we need this. We don't have to do that. We don't need this cheesy Jesus movies. Come on now. You know what I mean? A great. Really bad. Yeah. Fury. With Brad Pitt, it's a much better movie. But what really... Mass differentiates us is that once a week, we gather with other people... Who we can touch. Yes, strong hands, man. And we can confront them. Yes. We don't have to pretend that we're friends all the time, right? There's not only the beauty, but there's the genius of the Sunday worship service. So, Bobu, I like to ask pastors who are outside our country this question. What concerns you about America? Where do you see propaganda that we need to wake up and that we aren't noticing? You know, what do you see about America that we need to see with our own eyes? I love America. We love you. But I'm asking this question because we got a massive sin in America. We got massive problems. Well, you do, but... Come on, I think that you need to appreciate America, Bethra. Come on, Gabe. Hey, man. I mean... I'm asking for a review, though. I'm willing for a review. I mean, I agree, but I want to get rebuked from you. I want to get... You guys need to repent here. I think that you need to make more movies like Rocky. What did he say? More movies like Rocky. You know, can I piggyback on that real quick? This is so important, then I'll tag you in because I think this is going to write to you afterwards. I was doing some thinking about this and you couldn't have hit the nail better on the head. Where is the most uninterrupted time in America? Church. No, because you can still be on your cell phone and get text messages and pay attention to them. That's the second most uninterrupted time in America. Where's the first movie? The movie theater. I went to go see the movie The Odyssey at 70 millimeter film, by the way. Amazing. Everybody needs to have that experience. And they came on beforehand and said this experience is so important that we don't even want you to have your cell phones on. And for three hours, everybody set there focused on one thing without any interruption. We were held hostage willingly by... They told us what to do with our cell phones. And I sat there and I thought about it for a moment. I said there is no other place on planet Earth. You can't watch TV or do anything. Go to a game and have this much time. Three hours of uninterrupted indoctrination. That's what it is. Uninterrupted propaganda with pure focus. And the only other place that's like that is church. And here's why... There's one other. I've never been on my phone and the throws of love. Oh! Okay, there's a joke there but I'm going to leave it alone because the movie theater is three hours. I just want you to know that's three hours. Okay. I'm blocked. I just want... I get it. You don't want the Sandwichard service to last three hours. No, but that's not... I agree. I do not. You're exactly right. But my point... The Odyssey. And that's going to lead... And my point is... And this is going to be greater than the theaters. Because no matter what happens... And this is why you have to have weekly communion. No matter how much you might retain or understand in that 90 minutes or one hour... You get to taste the body. You get to drink the wine. And you get to taste the gospel. And whatever else you might not have understood, you understand that. But... There's no but to that. Uh... I... Who's gonna give him his butt? There are several butts here. You go to a movie theater and I'm really glad that they make movies that last three hours... And they catch the attention of the audience. Right? Because right now... People watch TV shows 45 minutes and it's all. Right? The attention span is like dropping... I don't even think they watch them that long with their butt back and forth. The big part is that when you go to church on Sunday morning, you're not only consuming the content. Yes, that's right. You are participating. Yes, and... That's right. You're being spoken to at rest and then you respond. Yes. And it's not online, but it's real. It's like real people. It's a good vibe. This is why Jesus... This is why the second person of the Trinity became... a human person. A flesh, right? I think... It's really important that we can confront people and not just content. And what's happening in that church service is that heaven and earth, past and present, is all being gathered together to come into the heavenlies. It's not. And you're right. That's a good butt. It's not like a movie theater in any kind of way. You are being offered into the presence of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. You are being transformed in that. And you're going to put a butt on that too. That's true. That's true butt. Butt. Butt. Butt. He's butt. No, I can't butt you. No, I think that, you know, we have no problem with being confronted with God. But we have a problem with being confronted with Tobi Samtler. Come on. Gabe. Doug and chocolate knocks. That's a problem. And this is what the church actually forces us to do. But to be confronted with real people. That's true. But I got it. I got it. You got it butt. I have a butt for you. There's a lot of butts up here. We bought. Which is that. I know he was thinking that right here. He's like, come on. I know. Hey, come on guys. Because my 12 year old son was just waiting in Nellie, you know. It's like I got it. I think we think we're okay with being confronted with God. But not really. Yeah. But not really. And I think to your point. And God. Body of Christ is part of that. God in his wisdom has determined to confront his people through his body, through ministers and through the word and through the sacrament. The spirit is working through that personal interaction to confront us. And so it's not merely people. But it is, but it is through that interaction that we are being confronted. So I got a question. And then about we got to wrap it up. I have a little Q&A. I want this question. It's going to be part of that. And then we're going to go into some Q&A a little bit for the audience. And Jonathan, you can get the mics and get them going here. Your dad came out of communism. Is that correct? My dad came out of communism? Yeah. No, my dad communism or? My dad was born in the free Poland. Uh-huh. But Poland came out of communism. Yes. Okay. Taking over by far. Yeah. I don't. It's usually when I'm talking to like foreign pastors. I'd say times up. It's not. We're uploading things. That's what that means. The FBI's just uploaded something. But usually when I talk to like foreign pastors, their solution is to, you know, when you talk about communism and all this stuff is like, well, you know, we need more money in Poland. Or we need more help from America. What I heard. And you're more mana. And I'm not saying that that's not always part of the equation. But you, we're talking about communism and your answer is basically we need covenant and worship. Uh-huh. And that feels like so much out of my control. That feels like so much like, how can I help? Or how can we help each other? Or how can we, and you're just like, hey, we need to worship God centrally. How come you have no butts for him? So what's the question? I guess. Boo-boo. We often actually ask about after it. It's just not like you don't just do that though. We need more money. My back. Yes, yes, yes. I guess it's not so much the question is like, it's hard for me to understand. I'm in a communist country and you're arguing that worship is central. Like, most people don't think that way. Most people don't think, oh, this is going to get us out of communism. Worship is central. This is the answer. It is. Do it. The world's largest church is underground in communist China. It didn't stop him. Okay, okay. Just one example. One example. So the Soviets come in and they close the churches. They didn't close like the chess clubs, right? Yeah, yeah. They close the churches. And there's more the striper bars or the pot shops. Yeah, yeah. I don't know what these are, but you might be. And ask your mom. But it's Gabe, no. How do you know? So, and that this is really interesting, that they close the churches and then they reopen the churches, but not all of them. Which were the churches they did not reopen? The ones who wouldn't go along with the communism. Reformed churches. The dangerous ones. And COVID hits. And the churches that they reopened, they wanted these churches to have nothing to do with everyday life. With what was happening around the people in the country. They just wanted them to quit smoking, quit drinking, quit dancing. And that was it. When they said quit praising God because it spread, because of the saliva from your voice. Well, they kind of started smelling something at that point. Yeah. And don't praise God and sing because it spreads the virus more. I kind of went way to second. It just doesn't feel like science. And we should have caught it. We should have caught it because. We never clues. Yes. But that was a violation of the first commandment. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. I'm on the spot. And they kind of spreadwear like dry sweat we could have seen growing up. That's what we were talking this. ways. By brain milk, normal milk, and other diet, we looked forrineلك andENT. The CJU and all those people anybody who does this said they conspired to outro sp this then did something and created. that you have no control on. That's right. But all of a sudden your actions are like not affecting anything. And they're going after things that you really actually don't have any control about. And this goes back to what we were talking about earlier about just do things. Well, God is called us, the most basic thing. The things that we have control over is like raising Godly family. The things that we have control over is actually, we use this language in the back here. Because actually we can create our own algorithms. Decide for your kids. That's an algorithm. Bring them to church. Teach them how to work right by your side. You're actually creating your own algorithm. And you're doing something that God has actually given you power and authority over. Versus like fighting on Twitter or going after Fox News, whatever. This is why this is why covenant renewal worship is so. That's right. Centrum. You can go to church. Right. Well, you can take your family to church. But my thought is even bigger than that is that's one of the things you ought to do. And that should be a duty. And that should be the thing that like you say, no, we're going to do this. This is the Lord's day. We're going to worship. We're going to worship the living God. This is what we're going to do. But the thing is that as you do that and you participate in that, God reminds you of the most fundamental truths. Dr. Boots talk earlier. It was fantastic, fundamental about this. And all the back and forth and all the, you know, like no, no, no, no, it's not the fundamental reality is not just human beings. It's human beings related to the living God, the sovereign God overall. And so and then we are inescapably spiritual. We are inescapably covenantal. And so the the the worst ever minds you of this. You're a sinner in need of cleansing. You've sinned against God and your neighbor. You need to make this right. And and and God has spoken. The God who made you has spoken. Here's his word. Listen to the word. Listen to it explained and applied to your life. And that God has come down and given his only son for you. Here's the bread. Here's the wine. You're part of a people. You belong here fundamentally. And from here you build faithful loyalties out there. Go now with my blessing. You have work to do. That's the structure of the service. And you then sent out and it's reorienting you. And that commissioning, that benediction at the end of the service that says, go. You have work to do. Could be translated. You have an algorithm to build. You need to structure your week. Do not be conformed to this world. Come on now. That's right. Be renewed. You're to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Right? That's what that service is reminding you of week after week after week because we do forget and we get bogged down. But that, you leave Sunday and you should be thinking, okay, I've got a week ahead of me. I cannot be distracted. Yes. I've been assigned work from the king. I'm a husband. I'm a wife. I'm a father. I'm a mother. I'm a student. I'm a brother. I'm a worker. I'm a student. I'm a creator. I'm an inventor. You have work to do. And when you're faithful at the task, you don't have time. You don't have time for all the propaganda. I don't think we understand just what you did you want to get the mic and questions going. I don't think we understand just how important our kids really are. But your enemy does. And they've created a lot of propaganda to win them. And they've done really, they've invested billions of dollars. You too. Kids, Netflix kids, Amazon kids are coming. All of the fight, if you want to make an, I think you can make an argument that all of the fight is over your children. But it always has been. That's the story. It always has been. And we've taken for the woman. That's come on now. Thank you, preach. We've taken that for granted. And I was trying to tell my kids this. I'm like, listen, let me just tell you how powerful we are. There are nine of us. Like the government is really afraid of what we can do. We can make lawyers. We can make doctors. We can validate pastors. Like we can create a full working economy in just this household. Like we can do the musks. We can do the bezels. Like we can do all of that. We have no limits. And they're afraid of that. And so their goal is to destroy our loyalties to each other. And that's what the 19th Amendment is about. You understand? That's what we're talking about. When we talk about this, it's how do we destroy the loyalties? We need to make you guys feel like being under the authority of your father and mother is unfair to you. And you need to be aerial. Right? You're wishing for a whole new world. Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat? When you say my complaint. It's just mean daddy, right? They are making it amazing. That was amazing. That was amazing what you guys just did there. I love it. When you say, was the girl, the girl who had everything? Please put this on Instagram. It is, it is, please record it. Who recorded that? I want it. Text it to me. That propaganda from that alone creates a loyalty separation from the home. And so, like, we have the opportunity to take and bind our kids loyalties with apple pie. And every kid is a civilization they want you. Yes. Come on. It's tough to get you. Because we're only going to live so long. And then our influence is done. Yours is the influence that goes on forever. They have to get you. It'll be cut off at us someday. And they're paranoid going. We have to appeal to the powers of the world. We have to get the next generation probably through education. And entertainment. And then they've got you. And they can get you to disconnect from your parents message, which was not made up by your parents. It is the Bible that we carry to you. So they're after you, and they want to cut off this word that we bring to you that we... And your protection. And the thing that they want though is they want that power for themselves. So they want a hijacket. They want it for themselves. They see the power. They see what they know that God has made the world like this. And this is why it's so easy. Because guess what they don't have? Kids. They ain't got no kids. That's right. That's right. I mean, this is so important to God. We can't miss this. You guys are at a Presbyterian conference. You know this comment. This is so important to God that even a person who marries a spouse that's not a Christian. He's like, you know what? That one Christian sanctifies the home. You know why? So the kids could be holy. Because those belong to him. They don't belong to the pagans. No, no, no. I'm sanctifying the whole house so that the kids will be made holy unto me. Those are mine. We don't give up what's God's to the world. We don't let them educate them. We don't let them train them. We don't let them teach them. And the best place for our kids is with us because they also is the protection. I was going to go back to the 19th amendment. But I'm not going to go there because Gabe wants to give back to questions. It's Q&A time. So Q&A, you guys can, I want at least two kids to ask a question. Okay, so we got any couple brave kids there too. But don't, of course, get in line there, add some questions, and a couple kids need to step up. Okay, go ahead, sir. Thanks, guys. In many parts of the world, the fastest growing Christian movement is charismatic and panacostal Christianity. Do you see that movement as largely healthy but mistaken on the gifts or as a mixture of genuine Christian vitality and serious error or is something more fundamentally problematic? And how should the church relate? Oh, no. Relate to? Go ahead, Doc. I knew nobs, Ivan. Is this a setup? I want to hear from Boo Boo. There is a book by John Nevin, The Anxious Bench. I think it answers your question. The Anxious Bench. There was this movement. Finny was the guy, right? Charles Finny. Charles Finny. And there was this Anxious Bench and it was about people who had to, you know, the alter call, they were to come up to the front, to the Anxious Bench in front of the people. I think this was the manipulation of the people. And John Nevin said, no. We need cataclycization of our children, not the Anxious Bench because the Anxious Bench, this is what the charismatic stood. You want to continue? Yeah. I will destroy the charismatic movement. The first, I must compliment them. I was brought to Jesus by Tammy Febaker when I was five years old. Wow. I called in to TBN with the big big. That's Doug's problem. All this time. It's in my DNA. I've been pointed it. Look at this stuff. So God does use the Pentecostal movement. Obviously there have been, and they will preach where there's will not. However, there's never been a good theology book. It's not a book written by a Pentecostal. It's not an any library anywhere in the world. Ever. Their knowledge of scripture, their use of scripture is almost all ripped out of contest. Absolutely destroyed. Yes, but Chors Fini word that he operate was New York. Yeah, upstate New York. Yes. And what happened with this generation? This has become the most inoculated against Christianity part of the United States. It became known as the Burned Over District. Exactly. And that's where Mormonism was born. Yes. If they had the Holy Spirit, though, and if they were speaking on behalf of the Holy Spirit, we would not have a problem with them. The problem is they claim to speak on behalf of the Holy Spirit and they do not have the Holy Spirit. So what happened with Willow Creek? Willow Creek was based on some social... No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Well, yes, but it's shorted with... They went to the people, the neighborhood, they did some psycho, social, hawkous, pokus, right, surveys. Based on this, they found the church. Where is Willow Creek now? It's dead. It's gone. Yes, that's my point. Then... Can I just say it was the Charismatics that stood up against COVID before anybody else? Okay. Oh, yes. Oh, oh, oh. God will use them. Let the stones cry out. I am very much opposed in every way to the doctrine. I came from a Charismatic background. I have to say, we... The Charismatics, their boldness and a fight, they will throw a punch and they won't... I'll say this and I'll shut up. Charismatics love them, they're Bible. They don't always have the facility to be able to understand it. All right. Let's go. All in all Christians are united in Christ. We're united in Christ. Anyone who says, that guy takes my sin who's on the cross, I can unite with any Christian on that front. Let's go to the side over here. So, check. So, obviously we're talking about distractions and propaganda and the things that take us away from what's important. But where does and when does in the process learning how to multitask better come into the situation and where we shouldn't, shouldn't multitask? Because a lot of people think we need to get, like we were saying earlier, to a one-track mind on one thing, especially in worship. That's absolutely true. But where does multitasking fit into that? I mean, God, as underneath my, rebuilt the walls, holding the shovel in a sword. We're in a time where I guess, part of that to me is just categorically, I don't know how we don't multitask. I got to raise a family and I got to go to work. I got to build and I got to fight. I got to discipline my kids and I got to encourage my kids. I mean, God built the world in such a way where you can't be one-tracked mind. You can't be narrow-minded. You can't be thinking constantly how to apply the scriptures to all areas of life. This has been the problem of the church in some sense is that we haven't applied the Bible to all areas of life and we picked and choose the verses that we should follow. And so I know the word multitasking. But is there a biblical mandate to multitask in the way that it's used today? Is there a biblical mandate that you shall multitask or... No. ...to your sonarro? ...subberal. I don't think so. I think several of the speakers... I like Boo Boo's answer, just no. No. There is the... But... I think several of the speakers got it this though as well is that I think... I do think broadly speaking to the question, I would say, I think there's far too much focus on that. And I think people think they're multitasking and they're actually distracted. And so I think... Pastorally I want to urge people focus on the most important things. Now, does that mean that you're not thinking about or preparing for anything else? No, of course not. But I do think that we need to do a lot better job of prioritizing what is the most important thing? What is the next most important thing? There are my priorities and if it's not on the list, get rid of it. Can you give them the quick hierarchy of tasks like God, family, where's job, where's the priorities at and then you get down here on multitasking on social media and going like, well that's optional. Yeah, but I think... I don't even know that it needs to be on the list. I mean, you check in but whatever, but it's not there. What is a hierarchy at the top? Yeah, well, yeah, love the Lord's God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. You need to be seeking Christ with all that you are. But even that, like God... Here's just an example. In scripture it says, pray continually. Pray without ceasing. And you might think, oh, golly, I'm in I mean, I try to do that, but I mean, I was thinking about laundry and then I was thinking about the kids and then I was going to work and I wasn't praying. I'm sorry. I don't think the Lord means that you're to constantly be offering a conscious prayer to the Lord. And the reason for that, now I mean, maybe there's some super amazing mental gymnastics that someone's able to do out there. But in the Old Testament, there was a continual sacrifice offered and the continual sacrifice was defined for us. The continual sacrifice is a morning and evening sacrifice. And that's what it says. It says you offer the sacrifice in the morning and then it's smolder as all day long. And just about the time that it's going out and the coals are gone, you light the evening sacrifice and it smolders all night long. And it says, and so you will offer a continual sacrifice. Every twit, but at the very least, pray without ceasing is a mandate and post without ceasing on Facebook and Twitter is not a mandate. We can agree with that. But my point is, so like, what does that mean? I would say the application and the new covenant to that is, so make sure you say prayers in the morning and prayers in the evening. Make sure that you say the Lord in the morning is you get up and seek the Lord in the evening as you finish your day so that your life, your day is oriented to the Lord. And then, so number one, number two, yeah, you got people that you need to love and care for, your wife, your kids, your parents, your siblings. You've got work to do. And even there, I really appreciated what Dr. Merkel said yesterday. A man is made for a mission and as a woman is made to assist the man with the mission by making the home. And that means that the home is not the mission for the man. That's right. You've got a wife to love like Christ loved the church, but you have a mission, a work to do. And that's your oriented outward and she's oriented inward. That was super helpful. Okay, let's do. We got a couple questions. Yeah, but that's not helpful. Oh, man. I got my little man right here. All right, so for the kids, how do, when you're talking about propaganda, how do we know it is propaganda? What are the red flags that we would see? And when we see that it is propaganda, how do we defend against it? How do we, what is something we, man? Bro, that's a great question. Who is daddy? Yes. What is that? I'll go. Go. Doug. Number one, I want to defend that there is not necessarily all propaganda is not bad. So discern is it true or is it false? If it's false, it's bad, which is going to be most of it because most of the propaganda is made by the world and not by men of faith. And then number two is, is it good? Does it good? Can I give it a thumbs up? So discerning between what is true and what is good, I would go to your parents and ask them about it. So go to the Bible and look it up and see if it agrees with biblical mandates and know the spirit of the age. You guys, everyone knows what Satan is doing today. Everyone knows that it's different than what Satan was doing say 30 years ago. That's right. 30 years ago it may not be quite so rainbow-y. And today you can see it in the skull. I see it. And you guys are going to be submerging it. You guys were born at this time to fight this battle. That's right. It's purposeful. That's Acts 17, 26, when Paul is talking to Athens right, the dudes and it says, God appointed each person at this time. You were appointed at this time. In this country, people were like, I hate computer and AI as they consume it all. And they go like, I don't know what to do. You were put here to fight. You fight is online. It's also been your church personally and your family. But you guys are being called to stand up and it's wonderful that you're born at this time. Wonderful. Your battle's different than my battle. Mine was from pre-internet age. Yours is totally in it. AI, algorithm, whatever. But the principle of fighting goes all the way back. I just want to. I just want to add one thing to all the kids in the room. I think I was probably maybe 23 when I first read through the Bible all together in one year. And don't be me. You have an opportunity right now to start reading your Bible all the way through. And you might not understand everything and get everything, but know that God gave you the Bible. That's his word. And so you imagine, now since then, I've done a lot better job reading the Bible through in a year. But imagine how old are you? 12. And let's say you live until you're 80 years old and you read the Bible 78 times. 68 times. My math is not good. 68. 98 times. 98 times. By the time you're 80, you've read the Bible 98 times. The point is, just every year you read the Bible and you learn more and more and you'll be far more discerning and far more wise to be able to identify that propaganda in your life. But two stories are so important. The good stories. So the Bible has this full of them and you want to be learning to recognize the good guys and the bad guys and recognize how God tells the story. That's the discernment that Mr. Doug was talking about. And I would say read other stories by godly men, people with Christian imaginations, James Lewis and Jared Tolkien and others who are telling stories that are based on those biblical principles. That's going to teach you to discern and you're going to start to notice. You can say, wait a second, my wife and I watched a movie recently, I won't tell you the name of it, but this family and they were trying to make the family look so tight and sweet but they talked ugly to each other. They were drinking too much and getting drunk and partying like idiots. And then they were like, look, they love each other so much. I'm like, this is propaganda. This is not how it works. This is like saying, you can take poison and be healthy. Look, they're so happy. Look, they keep taking poison, but they're happy. He's like, wait a sec, this is propaganda, this is a lie. Then going back to Paul and Athens real quick, this is my big rant, okay? I've been studying this forever. Paul and Athens, he knew the philosophers of his time. They were false. He could quote them back to them and spend it into the gospel. So you're going to be saturated in absolute online evil and it did not harm Paul. So you have to find a way to get to that truth, that core truth, that is the truth. You don't want to just consume the world, video games, comic books. You're going to be in trouble. It will tear you down over time. The other one is Daniel. Daniel in exile, under Nebuchadnezzar. He went and he read all the books of the world. The greatest pagan philosophers of his time. He was totally well versed as good as anyone that civilization. And yet he knew where to draw the line. He said, I will not eat the meat sacrifice to this evil God. I'm going to be a vegan and I'm going to be whatever. You know, it's not an appeal to veganism guys. Don't worry. All right, here we go. Draw the line and know the world that you're walking in because you're going to live in a world there a world than we were raised in. All right, here we go. So we've got two questions left. We're going to give under a minute answers. Okay. And so we're going to go here and then to you miss. And then I'm sorry, the rest of y'all go back to your seats. I apologize for that. And then it's my fault. And then after that, Pastor Toby is going to end in a charge. And then after the charge, after the charge, we're going to roll a clip of the whole conference and what everybody did during the conference because page 50 captured it all. So pretty cool. That's after your manifesto. Okay. But when are we going to sing the doxology? And then after, oh. How do I do this order a little bit? Let's do it. Let's do the doxology after my charge. And then what role the clip? Okay. And then kids. After that, you get up on stage and you get to take a picture. But wherever you at, you can throw a ball at me. But you can't come close. You got to sit where you're at and you can throw the ball. Is that after the picture? That's after that's when the video starts rolling. You can start throwing balls at me. How about that? There we go. You got to be very clear. But we can all get off the stage. Sure. Yeah, you can. Okay. Wait till I'm off this. Okay. Under 60 seconds or less, ten words each. Go ahead. Does that mean my question has to be under 60 seconds? Oh, no. Okay. I'm sure everybody on the panel has had to deal with counseling people on this. But specifically, Mr. Tenepel, how ought Christians engage with foreign media such as like Japanese anime or Brazilian soccer or something? How ought Christians engage with that? Should they engage with it? And if not, what should they do instead? I don't have a problem with foreign media. Just realize it's coming from a different culture than ours. And maybe Boo Boo can talk about this a little more because he's from a foreign, he's from another culture. A very different culture. A very different culture. So there's a very American-centric argument which is, hey, American tribe, pretty good. But it ain't perfect, right? So we read manga and just realize it's coming from another planet. I got no more opinions. Anybody else? Okay. It's under 60 seconds. Yes, ma'am. Okay. This is also for Doug. Just going on, you said earlier we should be creating if we're consuming. And I'm still thinking about, I think it was 2021 fight left face at the 11 and fair grounds when you, when I first heard you say, Christians need to be creating content. So like, I'm one of those turned inward at the home. I've got five children and I'm real busy. What does that look like? Do I need to learn video editing or am I creating? What does that look like? Yeah. Oh, yeah. You should, you should simply go on camera. I don't want to say should because should's a moral word. I want to give you the choice. But it's kind of get over yourself. It's like you have a story to tell about being a home school mother on camera. I think it's as important as anything else on the internet. And that's just the language that we speak today. It's if you want to participate in culture and you want to have a vote in the propaganda, then I would love to have your story out there because all these kids all they see is not your story. And I want your story. If they see more, they might go, I'm not alone. That's my, and everyone's got to get over themselves. Because most people do not do the media for immoral reasons. I don't mind if it's for a moral reason. If you go like I'm, I need to stay humble and small and anonymous, then, then good. But usually it's not that they're out there all over Instagram and taking selfies on, you know, my time or whatever it is they call it. And then they go, but I would never put my own up. It's like, what are you protecting? Tell your story. The internet loves your story. I'd love to see more of Boo Boo online. I'd love to see more chocolate knocks online. This is what a normal Christian life is. How about I come in and tell you what I think? I mean, we'll look you whatever else. Thanks all day. This had a pink. That had us. And this lighting is very close to pink. But go ahead, go ahead, Boo Boo. But creating content. I'm not sure. You read Narnia stories to your kids before they go to bed. Is this creating content? Well, it's not actually your content. But it's the content that you want them to embrace, right? Yeah, I think that Doug's encouragement is, I like the voice out there. But my first thought was you are creating content. That's my first thought. Now you have a, you're creating very important content. Five. And so I don't want to minimize that. And I also would say, again, in terms of priorities, that's your first priority. So like, that's your audience. And that's an important audience back to chocolate knocks is point earlier about the power of those five people that you're raising. I mean, that's glorious. I'm not doing an either or. And I know you're not. Definitely not. So that's why I'm not, I'm not saying no. And I think there, I guess I would just maybe next to that say, if it works, you know, if it fits with the family, because I think there are people that are gifted for that. And I think, and you can do it. And it's like, it doesn't bother you. It doesn't affect your world. And you're just sharing. And it's just casual. And you put it down. And like, if it's not a good day, it's not a good day. And you're not tied to it. It's like, I just, the pastor in me to immediately thinks about all the ways that could go weird. Not at the expense of. Exactly. Not at the expense of. The reason why I know about Doug Wilson is because he's good at it. Yes. The reason why other pastors hate Doug Wilson is because he's good at it. It's true. It's true. It's true. It's true. But it's, you know, my wife and I did foster care for a number of years. We have four of our own kids and we, for a number of years, I'm had a number of young children in our home. And people have sometimes heard that and said, oh, do you think we should all do foster care? And I say, no. No. And I, but I, one of the things we talked about regularly was I only wanted to do it if it was a blessing to my family. Because God says in 1 Timothy 5, actually James says, you know, true religion is the care of orphans and widows. And that's true. That's the job of the church. But in 1 Timothy 5, this is a man that doesn't provide for his own household is worse than an unbeliever. Which means that, and that's in the context of caring for widows, right? And so that means that in our, in our ministry, the first, it's the, what's the, it's the Hippocratic oath, right? First do no harm, right? So, so as you think about caring for orphans and widows, the first job is don't create any new ones. That's right. Right? Right? So, in reality or functionally, right? Influenced or orphans. Amen. Amen. Exactly. So that would just be my, my thing would be if this is something that God wants you to do, it's going to be better for your family to do it. Your family's going to be closer to Jesus and closer to each other. As you're called to do it. And if, and if anything starts to look a little bit off, drop it like a bad habit because you've got an audience right there and you've got, you've got people that you're producing content for right there and do not underestimate the potency and the power and glory of that. And this is the content it will produce as parents, right? The diapers, the breakfast, the narnia that we read to the kids before we go, they go to bed. This is the content and then this is the most important content that brought from the Sunday morning worship service. And you're producing five immortal souls who will then produce. Right. So that's like, that's content. Every child of civilization. That's a constant. I'll say this really quick just to split the baby between the two of you guys. No pun intended here. What are we, why are we splitting babies? Why are we doing that? How old is the oldest? 22. Okay. And the youngest is six. Okay. So you got some age reign in between there, right? So you asked the question, should you be learning editing? And I would say yes because you have something to teach them to do, right? So it doesn't have to be that you post everything, but as you're educating them, look, my kids, knowing how to edit, can go work anywhere in their world they want to, name whatever price that they want to. So while you're creating this content, create the skills inside of them, right? And I mean content in the way that they mean content, right? But learn the skills, learn the attributes to do it. And then as they get better, they've learned, give them a chance to do this themselves, right? They can do this. You can guard this. But it doesn't have to be either or they're the first point of contact that you want to be pouring yourself into. Teach them the skill of how to edit. Teach them how social media works. Teach. So then when they come to it, they're not afraid of it either, right? All right. You want to roll us out, ma'am? Sorry. I have a butt. And so you don't get to finish. No, I'm taking no more butts.
