  So you know it's had a bit of time to get traction and now

  it's time to really push ahead with the Cosmic stuff and get

  the exclusive etcetera. Yeah, well, kind of balancing up

  a little bit the mythics, because it was a lot of cosmics

  coming out last year. Although we need to do some new

  mythics now soon. I'm going to be banging that

  announced the Legions Con 2024 Day 2 figure set and it's the

  Cosmic Legion's amazing Alien and Creature Creator 2 pack and

  this set would be available. Legion's gone Sunday, November

  10th. As we alluded to in the intro,

  you just, uh, lookout for Mal, follow him, you'll get one.

  So uh yeah, it's it's basically UH parts chosen.

  Uh so you can do a lot of pop and swaps together, mix the
• 4:27
  characters together. We'll definitely get into that,
• 4:30
  and it's got a a load of extra parts.
• 4:33
  UH-2 full base bodies, eight sets of hands, three sets of
• 4:37
  gauntlets, three sets of feet, multiple weapons and
• 4:40
  accessories. Uh, the backpack.
• 4:42
  I think that we got with four guys that the one, a couple of
• 4:45
  neck or three neck pieces, two sets of shoulder armor.
• 4:49
  Shoulder armor isn't as common in cosmic legions as it is in
• 4:52
  mythics, so uh, it's definitely worth noting UH-6 total heads if
• 4:57
  you get the legions conversion. So that's pretty cool.

  And and so the two two of those heads, the Red Vampire and the
• 5:06
  Tusk helmet with the purple visor are exclusive to legions
• 5:09
  CON. So not too much exclusive parts,
• 5:12
  you know, but just two heads you know and parts that you can get
• 5:15
  under the figures. And they're two repainted heads,
• 5:17
  so you know you can get in the head from a different figure and
• 5:19
  paint it yourself. And yeah, and it's going to have
• 5:26
  some throwback style packaging. UH.

  They say they have something very cool planned UH.

  And then on Jeremy's stream, they talked a little bit more
• 5:34
  about it. So we'll talk about what they

  talked about UH. It's getting very meta, talking

  We were like the guys that are looking at the football on

  struggle against each other. So there is the money shot.

  interested in getting these. Of course there's a lot of other

  Umm, but there it is. Uh, the two figures.

  So the main heads are basically repaints of Magnus and Novi and

  lean. Umm.

  And as Mal said, the kind of lizardy vibes going on here with

  the Novi and lean definitely in this.

  Yes, definitely. I I actually, when I first saw

  it, I thought, oh, it's getting even closer to looking like

  Predator, but it's not quite when you when you see it.

  Which I mean, I have no problem with it looking more like

  Predator. I've got this urge to to paint

  one of those heads up to look like a Predator head.

  So you're trying out on maybe I should even for just a bit of

  fun and yeah, so I mean when you look at it like that, it's

  probably going to be they haven't announced officially the

  price. I mean they're very cautious of
• 7:27
  course in case the factory comes back and says, you know, we need
• 7:31
  to you know, up the price a bit for something or other.

  But it's going to be around $100 basically.

  Yeah, you know, plus or. Yeah, they kept, they kept it to

  100 last year, didn't they? And there's a lot of stuff in

  that pack, so. It's a maximum 110 if things

  really didn't work, but I think probably going to keep it around

  100. So very cool.

  Let's get into the BIOS for these guys.

  So the first guy is the Tusk Experiment CC 24.
• 8:05
  The CC batch of Tusk experiments in genetic manipulation were
• 8:09
  meant to produce a new breed of shock troops loyal to the
• 8:12
  traders union. Protocols in genetic splicing
• 8:15
  which dictate that no more than 3 gene sequences should be used
• 8:19
  in a single experiment were ignored and the resulting
• 8:22
  creations were monstrous. Developed by mixing the
• 8:25
  sequences of a nearly a dozen species in the labs of
• 8:29
  facilities D8G O1, including Carzin Carzinian Anthraxian
• 8:36
  genes, the CC batch of specimens proved to be violent and
• 8:40
  uncontrollable, breaking free from the labs and slaughtering
• 8:44
  all who stood in their way. As they made their escape, these
• 8:47
  genetically enhanced predators have begun to make their way
• 8:50
  across the rings of Kazmirium, the biggest and meanest of the
• 8:54
  group, a mess. A specimen formerly known as D8G
• 8:58
  O1 Experiment CC 24 has been tracked to the remote planet
• 9:03
  known as Whitney in sector 11910.

  It is here where Experiment A, a 20s hunt has led him, knowing
• 9:12
  that only one of these Tusk Lab creations will survive this
• 9:15
  unavoidable encounter. I love that and listen, tell us

  that also the the little special note for this, for this one.

  Do you see that on the note? Released as part of a special 2

  pack set at Legions, a special 2 pack set at Legions called 2024,

  this character's name, D8GO One, is a nod to Four Horsemen

  Studios own Diego Giswoldo sending.

  And so they have mentioned Predator somehow in their

  Predators and they also mentioned Whippany which we

  figures names is because of legions con 24.

  So that's what the number 24 CC 24 is really meaning.

  And Jeremy also kind of half jokingly said that CC can also

  mean customer care because that's what the Horsemen saw.

  But. He did confirm, though, that he

  actually meant Creature Creator the.

  Creature creator, Yeah, yeah, exactly.

  Yeah, that's the official thing and it's written here.

  And yeah, so he comes with a lot of cool stuff, which we'll talk

  about when we get to that bit. But he is, so he's still

  affiliated to Tusk. I guess that's a kind of a.

  Might be an affiliation they're trying to get rid of quick,

  isn't it? No, Nothing to do with us.

  No, no, in a minute. He's definitely on the negative
• 11:20
  side of the Ledger there and yeah and he's from the facility
• 11:24
  within so and then we have Fury Magnus, it's he shall now be
• 11:31
  called a a 20. So he's also an experiment.

  That's interesting. Shall I go for the bio?

  Absolutely, yeah. Yeah.

  Experiment A A 20 is one of the first specimens created as part
• 11:46
  of the traders union of the five circles of Cosmirium's secret
• 11:50
  programme of genetic manipulation.

  The lone survivor of the A, A batch of experiments, AA20 has
• 11:56
  proven to be nearly perfect. Thrall to the Tusk science
• 11:59
  officer who gave him life. A A 20 is intelligent,
• 12:03
  resilient, creative, ruthless and above all totally compliant
• 12:07
  to the commanders of his Tusk overseers often utilised in the
• 12:12
  extermination of failed experiments.
• 12:14
  AA20 has recently been sent out in search for a number of
• 12:17
  experiments till creations which escaped the confines of the Tusk
• 12:21
  labs. A A20's mission is to hunt down
• 12:24
  and neutralize these escapees before evidence of the trade new
• 12:28
  traders, unions, illegal practices can be discovered by
• 12:32
  the fair ox authorities. So he's he's the clean up guy
• 12:36
  for this little mess, yes, but he seems to be under control by
• 12:42
  them. So again.

  Is it just me, or with all these sort of storylines, it's always
• 12:48
  something from the first batch seems to be the best.

  It's like, why don't you stick that recipe?

  If you've got something that's perfectly compliant and that

  sort of stuff, it's like, what's the matter with you?

  know he's he's worked from the first batch and he's the only

  Novian lean DNA that they've gotten from him being at the,

  dare I say, being at a Valktar so.

  choose. It's a clean sweep for a a then

  in the religious podcast as the favorite.

  But I mean it's they're two very good figures.

  this guy has more Joe Vibes often a A you know he looks like

  one of the kind of he looks like he could be in GI Joe kind of or

  cosmic kind of more modern. Yeah.

  It's like when they first, when they first reclassified, they

  started going down this route, didn't they?

  And stopped because obviously it's not a sci-fi line.

  OK, yeah, that's true. But sorry, yeah, GI J and.

  But I think that it works in this, in this context, in that,

  you know, you still get your Cosmic Legion, but it gives you

  also the Joe vibe. And if you're into Joe, that's

  kind of cool, but it's not replacing or trying to kind of
• 15:49
  mimic Joe. It's just a kind of that if you
• 15:51
  like that style of character, it's like awesome.

  Yeah, well there's there's lots of spacesuit characters around
• 15:57
  the sofa, so it's quite nice to get the sort of cloth parts and
• 16:00
  the, you know, the more rugged boots and that sort of thing
• 16:02
  again. The other thing I'll say that's
• 16:05
  come from it for me at least, is, you know, I mean I've I've
• 16:10
  made a couple of like customs or kit bashes where I've used the
• 16:13
  human heads from Cos Mythic that I liked but not, although I'm
• 16:19
  not like desperate to have humans in Cosmic, but then
• 16:23
  seeing them like so with Fisher rice, we've got the Attila head
• 16:27
  that's painted differently. So it's humanoid but a different
• 16:31
  race. And this one now painted so it's
• 16:34
  not human, it's but it's humanoid.
• 16:37
  It's kind of inspiring me to paint some of my like the third
• 16:43
  party heads that I've bought with the intention of putting
• 16:45
  them into Cosmic. Paint them humanoid but not
• 16:49
  human, and add them to some of these crews, you know?
• 16:54
  Yeah, exactly. Give them a kind of, and it's
• 16:56
  probably easy, not easier, but it's probably more.

  There's more room for creativity in just painting it, you know,
• 17:04
  kind of human head, blue and red or something rather than, you
• 17:08
  know, trying to break your heart doing the skin tone, you know.
• 17:11
  So that's a that's definitely a fun aspect of it.

  And the paint jobs they mentioned a little bit more
• 17:18
  muted here. And so obviously the the A, A
• 17:23
  character is a, a 24. He's more kind of military type
• 17:28
  fatigues almost. Uh, which is where we get the
• 17:32
  Joe thing from and even the the CC 24, the alien guy, he's
• 17:39
  looking you know his skin is more kind of dark brownish kind
• 17:44
  of green more kind of reptilian than even than you know if Tiger
• 17:51
  the blue is more kind of alien. This guy is more kind of
• 17:54
  reptile, I would say. You're definitely getting and
• 17:58
  the armor, I mean there is like the purple that kind of sticks
• 18:00
  out and maybe the red on the character.
• 18:03
  But you know, it is definitely less in your face than some of
• 18:07
  the other cosmic figures. Yeah.
• 18:10
  And that's nice. That gives it just a different
• 18:11
  feel, doesn't it? Like you know, cosmic being
• 18:14
  bright and all that sort of stuff is great, but it is nice
• 18:16
  to have, you know, like I think Eric on Jeremy show then you
• 18:20
  mentioned like Space Marine sort of feel for, yeah, a A20 and
• 18:24
  you've got that sort of feel to it.
• 18:26
  So you know, the more drab colors and that sort of thing
• 18:28
  works really well. Sure it does.

  Yeah. And if we move on, we can see
• 18:36
  the back that A A has a backpack from Vargas.

  I was right there. They're doing that again with
• 18:44
  him, yeah. And the other guy, the ailing
• 18:49
  guy has the kind of Tusk back piece, but really nicely
• 18:56
  painted. Probably the most detailed paint
• 18:59
  job we have on that piece so far, maybe, I reckon.

  Yeah, which? Again, just shows the effort
• 19:05
  they go to because it's at the back.

  So most people who display it, you're never going to see that,

  yeah, But they've still made the effort to, you know, really go

  for it. Exactly.

  And also, I see you see it. I mean, you see it in the front
• 19:19
  as well, but those little kind of knife parts coming out of the
• 19:23
  wrist of the Alien sets, I love those.

  They're really sweet. Noven Lean as them too.

  Yeah, this really is a Noven Lean kind of superset, isn't.

  It. It's not even lean, is it?

  It's the The Scorpion Lady and by.

  He has them as well, but but he has them as well.

  Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can't.

  Remember now? But yeah.

  And this is an alternate look. Then with some of the alternate
• 19:51
  heads, we have the the Tusk helmet on A, A and the alien
• 19:57
  head with the six eyes painted completely differently.

  Bright green eyes and a kind of brown top half with the kind of
• 20:06
  light, very lightish purple lower half.
• 20:10
  Very alien looking, Very creepy. Yeah, that that 2 tone head is
• 20:13
  great. It just gives it real different
• 20:15
  because I've used the head a few Times Now, but with the two
• 20:17
  tones and the bright shiny eyes that yeah, really different feel
• 20:22
  but really good feel. Yeah, this is where the design
• 20:25
  comes into it, where you can design something that is
• 20:28
  possible to paint a lot of different ways and actually look
• 20:32
  different. Like, we know it's the same AD.
• 20:34
  We're not like completely crazy, but we can kind of say that's
• 20:40
  just another character within that species, you know?
• 20:42
  And it's kind of believable that way.

  The gun paint jobs in these next level.

  Again, really like that? Yeah, just really cool.

  Is this problem here Rich that you're going to have to get a

  few to display in different ways and.

  Fine, I got these. These are two great builds.

  I have no problem whatsoever in getting a few of them and the

  fact we get the sobbing I can hear.

  fact that you get the the additional arms with CC 24.

  So if you don't have to get on the reptilian route, you can

  just swap in normal normal arms and then put any sort of cool

  custom head or whatever on. So yes, I will.

  Definitely get a fair few of these.

  Yeah, that's actually a sweet thing that we will when we see

  the accessories. It's definitely worth talking a

  bit more about and yeah, what's the tactic here then?

  Is it to? Is it to stock up at legions con

  or is it to wait for the standard versions?

  I will do my normal trick of waiting for the standard

  versions. However, I do love the exclusive

  parts in this set and the mythic set, so I will be getting unlike
• 22:12
  all previous years where I haven't done this.

  I will be getting them, opening them in the room and bringing
• 22:17
  them back loose sort of thing so I can get the exclusive parts.

  Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's of course the
• 22:23
  packaging sounds amazing. So I think Malin, you'll have to

  bring back a package one somehow.

  You know, I'm a sucker for the packaging.

  And then with all these con exclusives, particularly the

  tributes, I've been getting them signed by the the person who

  they're a tribute to. So yeah, yeah, I'll be getting,

  I'll be getting a few at Legion Con, but how many I'll get, I'll

  have to decide nearer the time. I think I'll definitely get.

  Oh yeah. Because because we're sitting

  here now in early May and we don't know what's going to come

  up between now and November, which could have a serious
• 23:00
  impact on any sort of decision making and with your 25 Fisher

  Well then that that's the cool thing is that you know the I

  forget. I forget what the faction Fisher

  Rice is part of this shadow circle.

  As I said to you guys before, I'd been wanting that sort of

  mercenary faction that you can just add any character to like

  the yeah you can use some of the extra heads, add them to the you

  know the bodies for that you can do.
