- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Friends, family, and listeners, welcome back to the Almost Famous Podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It's Ben and Lauren.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Yeah, not Ashley.
- 0:16Speaker 2: It's not Ashley. Where is she? We're here to break
- 0:21Speaker 2: another episode of the Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 0:23Speaker 3: This episode started out like I was like, oh, I'm
- 0:26Speaker 3: rewatching the last week's episode.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yes, I actually went back and checked.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Me too. Like multiple times I checked because I was like,
- 0:33Speaker 3: we are talking about the Lady Gaga outfit again. I
- 0:38Speaker 3: thought I was rewatching it and it kept clicking the
- 0:40Speaker 3: wrong one.
- 0:41Speaker 2: And I just had forgotten. Forgotten.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 0:43Speaker 2: And it might be why, Lauren, I will say this
- 0:48Speaker 2: is my favorite episode so far because I think it
- 0:50Speaker 2: was easy for me to track.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yes, it was all in one central location.
- 0:55Speaker 2: With the same people that we saw last week.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yes, and mainly with the ROG crew, who we already know.
- 1:01Speaker 3: It wasn't any outsiders, really.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah, there was one outsider that came in from New York.
- 1:06Speaker 2: She was early on. She really loves her husband, which,
- 1:10Speaker 2: I mean, is great.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yes. She's hilarious.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Alex.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Alex, Alex, thank you. Alex, she's iconic. Mm-hmm. She's so
- 1:21Speaker 3: cringy to watch. But you could tell she was a
- 1:24Speaker 3: little bit uncomfortable giving off a little bit of Vicky vibes.
- 1:26Speaker 3: But other than that, the drama was within the group.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Okay, let me get personal. I always like to start
- 1:32Speaker 2: these episodes with asking you some questions that make us
- 1:35Speaker 2: help or help us understand you a little better. You're
- 1:38Speaker 2: married with child. Hunter is your husband. Let's play a
- 1:43Speaker 2: little game. Would you chew Hunter's gum after he has
- 1:47Speaker 2: chewed it?
- 1:47Speaker 3: No. No.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Would you– I'm asking these because we see with Alex.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Her and her husband just do some things like they're
- 1:57Speaker 2: obsessed with each other. I think that's great in a marriage.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It can get a lot. Explore that when you're in
- 2:02Speaker 2: the privacy of your own home. We don't need to
- 2:04Speaker 2: necessarily see in public all the time. It looked like
- 2:07Speaker 2: in one of the scenes they were eating dinner. And
- 2:11Speaker 2: I'll give Jess a kiss when I'm eating dinner. But
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm not making out with her with food in my mouth.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Ew, yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Or with food in her mouth. Like, that's just... I
- 2:20Speaker 2: don't know. I feel like it's not needed. And it
- 2:24Speaker 2: looked like that's kind of what they were doing.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah. They're all over each other all the time. I
- 2:29Speaker 3: think it's cute, but they're kind of like, you know,
- 2:31Speaker 3: there's two marriages or two, like, groups of families. One
- 2:34Speaker 3: where you put the kids first and one where you
- 2:36Speaker 3: put each other first. And they're obviously, like, they put
- 2:38Speaker 3: each other first.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And... a lot of that season was kind of the
- 2:45Speaker 3: first like OG New York season was people judging Alex's
- 2:51Speaker 3: parenting skills and stuff. And Kelly, even like judging Alex's
- 2:57Speaker 3: parenting stuff and now going back and watching it. Cause
- 3:00Speaker 3: I'm rewatching OG New York. It's so funny. Cause no,
- 3:04Speaker 3: I feel like they wouldn't allow that like judging people's
- 3:07Speaker 3: parenting and how they are and how they treat their
- 3:09Speaker 3: kids on the current housewives season. But yeah, their whole
- 3:12Speaker 3: family is very bizarre.
- 3:14Speaker 2: So they're saying there, the judgment was, Hey, you give
- 3:17Speaker 2: so much attention to your husband that the kids are
- 3:20Speaker 2: getting left behind.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Yeah. And they like kind of just let the kids
- 3:23Speaker 3: run amok. Just like if they want to express themselves
- 3:26Speaker 3: a certain way, they're going to express themselves. If they
- 3:28Speaker 3: want to tell you you're cooking, if you're at a
- 3:30Speaker 3: friend's house, they're going to say you're cooking. You're like,
- 3:33Speaker 3: they're just like, well, that's how they want to express themselves.
- 3:35Speaker 3: You know?
- 3:35Speaker 1: So.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Interesting. So it's like very like, hands-off parenting.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Correct. Very laissez-faire.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah. It's kind of popular nowadays, isn't it?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Ugh. I don't like it.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it feels like, hey, kids are kids
- 3:51Speaker 2: for a reason. We got to kind of at least
- 3:55Speaker 2: help them out.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah. I always thought I'd be a way cooler
- 3:59Speaker 3: parent than I am. I mean, I know Rocky's young,
- 4:02Speaker 3: but I'm not going to be chill about a lot
- 4:04Speaker 3: of stuff. Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Jess just told me the other day. Because Jess, shockingly,
- 4:10Speaker 2: is the more outspoken parent when it comes to what
- 4:13Speaker 2: can and cannot be done.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And I am a lot more like, hey, Winnie, you
- 4:19Speaker 2: can sit on my lap and watch Elmo while I work.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And Jess is like, no, she can't. And I'm like, yeah,
- 4:23Speaker 2: you're right. She shouldn't be doing that. However, it is
- 4:27Speaker 2: nice to have her cuddle with me.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I know. It's nice when the habits are formed. Here
- 4:32Speaker 3: we go. Slippery slope.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, my wife, she's a good girl.
- 4:36Speaker 3: No, she's great. She's great. Well, she knows the more
- 4:38Speaker 3: rigid she is, the easier her life is actually going
- 4:40Speaker 3: to be. Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 2: She's good at it. I love it. I'm just kind
- 4:45Speaker 2: of more, hey, let's have fun here. And I need
- 4:48Speaker 2: to get out of that. I'm getting better, Lauren. I'm
- 4:51Speaker 2: getting better. All right. Let's dive into this episode. As
- 4:56Speaker 2: we said, not a lot of new guests. We've already
- 4:57Speaker 2: talked about Alex. It is the same group of people
- 5:01Speaker 2: that we saw last week. It is the Halloween party.
- 5:04Speaker 2: It is cold in New York City, which makes me
- 5:07Speaker 2: assume that this is a party happening around Halloween, which
- 5:11Speaker 2: would make sense. But not always these parties make sense
- 5:14Speaker 2: to me.
- 5:15Speaker 3: It looked miserable, honestly, like them walking inside with the
- 5:18Speaker 3: snow and then Portia being late. And they show her
- 5:21Speaker 3: being late, not only because she took forever getting ready
- 5:23Speaker 3: and trying to find a safe in her room for
- 5:25Speaker 3: the second episode in a row. But she was in traffic.
- 5:30Speaker 3: And honestly, she can't help that. So if she could
- 5:35Speaker 3: just get a word out to explain why she was late,
- 5:38Speaker 3: maybe other people would understand, a.k.a. Luann.
- 5:42Speaker 2: My pushback on that a little bit, Lauren. I mean,
- 5:44Speaker 2: I love Portia. She's probably top two in my favorite
- 5:49Speaker 2: cast members. Honestly, I get what she was saying where
- 5:52Speaker 2: she's like, we've just been on the go so much
- 5:54Speaker 2: that I can't like get around quick enough. I would
- 5:57Speaker 2: be the same way. There's no like issue with her
- 6:01Speaker 2: being late. However, she was late no matter if there
- 6:03Speaker 2: was traffic or not. She didn't leave her hotel until
- 6:07Speaker 2: an hour after she was supposed to be at the party.
- 6:10Speaker 2: So she was going to be late. Traffic was just
- 6:13Speaker 2: like an easy excuse. It was convenient for her to
- 6:17Speaker 2: be stuck in traffic and take a video of it
- 6:19Speaker 2: with the ambulance in front.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Of her Yeah, she would have been an hour late,
- 6:24Speaker 3: but not two hours late.
- 6:25Speaker 2: That's exactly right. So she was going to be late.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And I just don't love the double standard because if
- 6:33Speaker 2: she's going to be late and she was upset with
- 6:35Speaker 2: Lisa for being late to the bus, then all of
- 6:39Speaker 2: us have to be on time. If we're going to
- 6:40Speaker 2: get upset with somebody being late, we all just have
- 6:43Speaker 2: to be on time. We cannot say some things are
- 6:46Speaker 2: more valuable than others, especially with Luann, who I know.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Let's talk about Luann for a second. I know Luann
- 6:53Speaker 2: comes off as this confident, outspoken center of attention person.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I think she needs the support. She wants the respect,
- 7:03Speaker 2: and she needs to be loved by the group. Mm-hmm.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And I think this was her big moment to almost
- 7:10Speaker 2: prove it. I think internally, if you sat down with
- 7:13Speaker 2: Luann and spoke with her, she would feel like an
- 7:16Speaker 2: outsider quite often. And she creates a narrative that she
- 7:21Speaker 2: always is. So this party was kind of reassuring, vindicating
- 7:25Speaker 2: her storyline of, hey, I don't have the respect that
- 7:29Speaker 2: I desire.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I mean, everyone made fun of her party.
- 7:35Speaker 3: They're continuing that narrative that the party sucked. I would
- 7:39Speaker 3: argue it was pretty fun. I mean, they had the mentalist,
- 7:43Speaker 3: which was crazy.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:47Speaker 3: How do they do that? That was an amazing thing
- 7:49Speaker 3: to see.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Well, obviously, that was a mentalist. And then Oz, the mentalist,
- 7:53Speaker 2: is kind of the one that's really famous right now.
- 7:56Speaker 2: He's kind of everywhere.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I have zero idea how they do it. And I've
- 7:59Speaker 2: been in the same room with these people. I absolutely...
- 8:04Speaker 2: am amazed at what they can do because I've seen
- 8:07Speaker 2: things like this happen and they've been done to me, uh,
- 8:10Speaker 2: where they had me guess a name of somebody and
- 8:13Speaker 2: I come up with this like elementary school teacher and
- 8:16Speaker 2: they pull it out of nowhere. I don't know how
- 8:18Speaker 2: it's done. I don't know how the levitating is done.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I feel like this needed more of a conversation. Like
- 8:27Speaker 2: you just can't levitate somebody and then be like, Oh,
- 8:30Speaker 2: I was levitating. It's like, no, I, I, I need
- 8:33Speaker 2: to know how something there was off to like, something's off.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I love the girl who says, yeah, she said it's
- 8:42Speaker 2: the devil. In fact, I was going to say, I
- 8:46Speaker 2: want to watch her all the time. She, everything she
- 8:49Speaker 2: said to me was set on camera was not only funny,
- 8:52Speaker 2: but truthful. And it's authentic. You could tell she's just like,
- 8:55Speaker 2: this is crazy. I flew from Dubai here. I don't
- 8:59Speaker 2: like this.
- 9:00Speaker 1: She also.
- 9:00Speaker 2: She's like, do me, do me. Yeah, outspoken to Luann
- 9:05Speaker 2: and how often Luann was talking. And so the party,
- 9:08Speaker 2: I think, could have been great, Lauren. But I do
- 9:11Speaker 2: think Luann probably talked longer than it even showed on television.
- 9:15Speaker 3: They had the counter and it was almost at a
- 9:18Speaker 3: 40-minute speech or something. Could you imagine being at a
- 9:21Speaker 3: wedding and someone's doing their speech and being over 15 minutes?
- 9:25Speaker 2: The bride just starts going off.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yeah, like Chanel from Housewives of Dubai. She was like,
- 9:31Speaker 3: you're talking too much. You're talking too much. And honestly,
- 9:33Speaker 3: Luann needs a friend like that. Be like, you can
- 9:36Speaker 3: still be the center of attention without being egregious.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Luann's a big enough personality that she can be the
- 9:42Speaker 2: center of attention really without saying much. I mean, it's
- 9:46Speaker 2: just she's, you know, she's outgoing. She loves to converse.
- 9:51Speaker 2: She doesn't need to get on stage. Do you think
- 9:53Speaker 2: this comes from a place, Lauren, you obviously started this
- 9:56Speaker 2: whole season out by saying you love Luann.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I would say it's an insecurity she does it based
- 10:03Speaker 2: on a fact that she wants to be a center
- 10:05Speaker 2: of attention because she doesn't feel like she actually ever
- 10:07Speaker 2: is but you would explain her desire to be on
- 10:10Speaker 2: stage for 40 minutes and to justify it by saying
- 10:14Speaker 2: it was my party i can do what i want
- 10:15Speaker 2: i'm hosting it how In what way? How would you
- 10:19Speaker 2: explain it to me?
- 10:20Speaker 3: I think that she is extremely un-self-aware. And I don't think...
- 10:26Speaker 3: I'm honestly thinking... I don't think it has anything to
- 10:28Speaker 3: do with the need to be liked or anything. I
- 10:30Speaker 3: think she just loves attention in any way it comes.
- 10:33Speaker 3: And we even see it at the end of the
- 10:35Speaker 3: show when she's on the phone with Dorinda explaining how
- 10:38Speaker 3: the party went. She's doing dramatic exits while she's on FaceTime.
- 10:42Speaker 3: She just wants it to be dramatic exits. to make
- 10:45Speaker 3: her life like interesting. I don't think it's even much
- 10:48Speaker 3: deeper than that. She's just like, my life is a
- 10:50Speaker 3: cabaret and it's dramatic and it's all because of me. I,
- 10:54Speaker 3: I don't even know if there's any deeper thing there.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Oh, it's a, it's a, it's an interesting way to
- 11:00Speaker 2: walk through life. And I do think the housewives cultivates
- 11:03Speaker 2: this culture of, I need to be on the camera.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I need to be out in front. It's probably why
- 11:10Speaker 2: some fade away and others stay prominent. And the thing
- 11:14Speaker 2: with this behavior is Luanne is always going to be
- 11:17Speaker 2: at the center of a storyline. I mean, we can
- 11:19Speaker 2: see her, well, you know, some would say it was obnoxious, but,
- 11:25Speaker 2: and so then you have that whole storyline of is
- 11:28Speaker 2: Luanne obnoxious or not?
- 11:31Speaker 3: I mean, I think I, the only time I find
- 11:32Speaker 3: her to be entertaining 99% of the time and then
- 11:35Speaker 3: obnoxious when people are actually trying to speak with her
- 11:38Speaker 3: and you can tell, no words are getting past what
- 11:41Speaker 3: she's going to say next. Like she's already onto the
- 11:43Speaker 3: next thing. How can I make this more dramatic? And it's,
- 11:46Speaker 3: it's annoying when that's happening. Like, like at the end
- 11:49Speaker 3: when Dorinda is like trying to make her feel better,
- 11:51Speaker 3: but she's not even taking the time to listen to
- 11:53Speaker 3: Dorinda or when Vicky's trying to explain to her, like
- 11:56Speaker 3: you're making me feel this way. She's like, Oh, I apologize.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I apologize. You feel that way. It's like, you're not
- 11:59Speaker 3: even listening. You're just trying to get out of the
- 12:02Speaker 3: trouble so you can go into your next cabaret.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Do you find Luanne obnoxious?
- 12:07Speaker 3: I find her... She was getting to me this episode
- 12:11Speaker 3: just because... I mean, I don't even... She just was annihilated.
- 12:15Speaker 3: You can tell that she was so drunk or something
- 12:19Speaker 3: else that it wasn't going to be fun for anyone
- 12:23Speaker 3: around her. You know? When you get to that point
- 12:25Speaker 3: of drunk where you're like, you're not making any sense.
- 12:28Speaker 3: This isn't even funny anymore. So that's kind of what
- 12:30Speaker 3: I thought.
- 12:31Speaker 2: The thing to me that is impressive watching... the housewife
- 12:37Speaker 2: so far is you think when you turn, I mean,
- 12:41Speaker 2: I'm guessing Luanne's what, like 55, 60. Something around there.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Let's find out.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, you start to not fade off, but you
- 12:51Speaker 2: start to become more of a, a present witness. Your,
- 12:54Speaker 2: your role seems to change from being the center of
- 12:58Speaker 2: attention to being someone who, you know, watches, shares wisdom,
- 13:04Speaker 2: shares experience. You're, sought after for the, you know, for
- 13:09Speaker 2: the idea that you've been there before. So many, the
- 13:13Speaker 2: housewives continue to be out in the front and to let,
- 13:19Speaker 2: like letting their stuff hang out. I mean, they look good.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Don't get me wrong.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I love it.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 3: As a woman.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 2: They let it hang out. I mean, they're, Luann has
- 13:29Speaker 2: no problem at 61 years old. We just, at 61
- 13:32Speaker 2: years old. 61 years old.
- 13:34Speaker 3: She's still got it. She's hooking up with multiple people.
- 13:38Speaker 3: She's looking good. She's having fun. She's drinking. She's not
- 13:42Speaker 3: going to be like, Oh, remember the days when we
- 13:44Speaker 3: used to go out? Oh, you know, she still likes it.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I mean, like, I'm not a person that's going to
- 13:49Speaker 3: want to go out my heels in the snow when
- 13:50Speaker 3: I'm 61, probably, but like, you know, the fact that
- 13:54Speaker 3: you can still do it and not feel like a
- 13:55Speaker 3: bystander or awkward or self-conscious about being out at 61,
- 14:00Speaker 3: that's amazing.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It is. It's impressive to watch.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Vicky's like, I don't like this.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I was going to say, I hear that at 61.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I'm like, ah, that feels like something I don't have
- 14:12Speaker 2: the energy for. However. It's an option. It's an option.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It's there. They're showing that the gate is open if
- 14:17Speaker 2: we want to walk through it. And I just might
- 14:19Speaker 2: be the one that says, hey, I'm good.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I'm okay not doing that at 61. But this party
- 14:27Speaker 2: only becomes, you know, a source of drama.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Because of Luann, I think. I mean, I think no
- 14:35Speaker 2: matter if you agree with her or not, the focus
- 14:37Speaker 2: is on her by her talking. And then there's this
- 14:40Speaker 2: drama around where does she stand during photos? The group
- 14:45Speaker 2: calls her out and says, you always want to stand
- 14:46Speaker 2: in the middle. I actually think Luann shares the receipts
- 14:49Speaker 2: that that isn't exactly the true story. That was great.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Yes. I was like, thank you for having those receipts.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Maybe people were like, oh... Speaking up first, like, oh,
- 15:03Speaker 3: Portia should be in the center. She and Luann gladly
- 15:06Speaker 3: would have taken the center if someone didn't speak up.
- 15:09Speaker 3: But she wasn't always there. And she 100% was about
- 15:12Speaker 3: to squat down in front of the girls before they
- 15:15Speaker 3: called her out. She was about to sorority squat in
- 15:17Speaker 3: front of the group of girls, and they didn't give
- 15:19Speaker 3: her a chance. And then the whole thing blew up.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I just don't know if they like her very much, Lauren.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I know. I don't.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Who's her friend in the group?
- 15:27Speaker 3: Well, now it's Lisa because Lisa will take any friend
- 15:30Speaker 3: she can get. Right? There's no one left.
- 15:34Speaker 2: There's no one left.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Kyle obviously will listen to anyone too because she's diplomatic.
- 15:37Speaker 3: But Portia, Giselle, Vicky, Danzo.
- 15:41Speaker 2: They just, they're over it.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Which, you know, makes it interesting when Luann does the
- 15:47Speaker 2: one thing. I don't know if you've ever done this.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I just did it a few months ago with a
- 15:52Speaker 2: group of friends. It's very scary. You ask them, hey,
- 15:54Speaker 2: how do you see me? Like what? Like what? Yeah. Like,
- 15:59Speaker 2: what do you like about me? And then what, when,
- 16:01Speaker 2: you know, maybe we leave a hangout, are you like, Hey,
- 16:05Speaker 2: that rubbed me the wrong way or something that you
- 16:09Speaker 2: don't appreciate about me? I don't like doing it. It was,
- 16:12Speaker 2: it's very scary. And especially when you have friends who
- 16:14Speaker 2: are honest, you're like, Oh goodness.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I would never want to be honest.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 2: But you have to be, that's why it's being asked.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Luann asks the van, and this is for me one
- 16:26Speaker 2: of the best moments of the road trip so far.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Am I being obnoxious? And you hear the silence of, okay,
- 16:34Speaker 2: what do we say? And then it was yes. And
- 16:36Speaker 2: it felt like she, like you said, is so unselfaware
- 16:41Speaker 2: that she had no idea that the response was going
- 16:45Speaker 2: to be so negative towards her.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 16:48Speaker 2: But in my life, you're an adult. If you ask
- 16:51Speaker 2: the question, you have to be willing to receive the
- 16:54Speaker 2: honest answer. She asked the question and it is the
- 16:58Speaker 2: time where the women can say, you asked me. And
- 17:00Speaker 2: so my response to you is yes, Luann, we've found
- 17:03Speaker 2: you obnoxious. You are driving us crazy. You should understand that.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. And you should just, you know, pipe down
- 17:12Speaker 3: a little bit, listen to other people's stories. Let other
- 17:15Speaker 3: people be slightly the center of attention. And the fact
- 17:17Speaker 3: that she was, like, semi-shocked by the answer is wild. Like,
- 17:22Speaker 3: she's never not speaking.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 3: And honestly, quite a talent. Because sometimes I'm like, what
- 17:27Speaker 3: the hell do I talk to these people for? She's
- 17:29Speaker 3: been with them, like, 24-7 for the past, like, however
- 17:32Speaker 3: many weeks. Very impressive. I guess she's only talked about herself,
- 17:36Speaker 3: but still. Yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I wish I had that much to share.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I know. Well, she lives a very exciting cabaret life.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah, she does. But the it does seem like we
- 17:47Speaker 2: in this episode with Lou Anne at least recognizing and
- 17:51Speaker 2: how that will be received will will be interesting.
- 17:54Speaker 3: But how funny was it? Sorry to cut you off.
- 17:57Speaker 3: But when she was it was towards the end of
- 18:00Speaker 3: the party, like the other girls, I think, left and
- 18:02Speaker 3: Lou Anne still there, like cutting the cake and all
- 18:05Speaker 3: the stuff. But she keeps saying two hours late. she
- 18:08Speaker 3: was two hours late to my party, but then walking
- 18:10Speaker 3: away after every sentence, hoping that that would be the
- 18:14Speaker 3: most dramatic moment of her life. And that people would
- 18:15Speaker 3: follow her like, no, tell me more. And they're like,
- 18:17Speaker 3: Oh God. Oh God.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:20Speaker 3: It's just cannot wait to send her off.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I have this like thing about me or when I
- 18:27Speaker 2: have something that I think is interesting, I'll repeat it
- 18:29Speaker 2: twice to make sure it lands. I don't like, and
- 18:32Speaker 2: I realized it after I do it. So if I'm
- 18:34Speaker 2: telling you a story, I'll be like, here's the, the,
- 18:39Speaker 2: Did you hear the punchline? I'll say it again. I
- 18:41Speaker 2: don't like it. I mean, I don't like doing it.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I'm trying to get better at it. But you want
- 18:47Speaker 2: a response?
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 2: And that's what Luanne was wanting. She wanted to repeat
- 18:52Speaker 2: it enough.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Or walk away before the response wasn't what she wanted. Yeah.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Just drop the bomb. Just drop the bomb.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Be like, if someone pushes back, I won't even hear it. Yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 3: But wait, Ben, you have to tell me, you'll tell
- 19:06Speaker 3: like an actual joke or something or a punchline, a story.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:11Speaker 3: And then if someone doesn't respond, then you'll say it
- 19:14Speaker 3: again to make sure they heard it.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Even what if someone already responds, you don't do it twice.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I don't think I do. It's, I think it's a
- 19:22Speaker 2: debate tactic from like my time in debate in school
- 19:26Speaker 2: where you like reinforce the point.
- 19:30Speaker 3: You drive it home.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You drive it home. And I do think it works
- 19:33Speaker 2: in debates. Like when you just like have like five
- 19:35Speaker 2: facts that, you know, will win the argument. And so
- 19:39Speaker 2: you just repeat those in different ways. Yes.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:42Speaker 2: And I think that's how, like, probably if I look
- 19:44Speaker 2: back when I developed my communication style is back in, like,
- 19:49Speaker 2: the middle school, high school era.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to look for this next time.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Please do. And then call me out on it.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Be like, you've already told me that and I didn't
- 19:56Speaker 2: find it that interesting, Ben.
- 19:57Speaker 3: It's always awkward. It's so freaking awkward.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It wasn't cool the first time. It's not going to
- 20:02Speaker 2: be cool the second time either. So we have this dynamic.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I'm not shocked though, Lauren. We're coming towards the end
- 20:20Speaker 2: of this road trip that tensions are high, that annoyances
- 20:26Speaker 2: have happened. If you and I took a road trip for,
- 20:29Speaker 2: I don't know how long this has been for them,
- 20:31Speaker 2: but if we went to six different, seven different cities,
- 20:35Speaker 2: spent every waking moment together, at some point you're going
- 20:38Speaker 2: to say, hey, let's just not talk. This drive, Ben,
- 20:42Speaker 2: like this is a lot. Maybe we should.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Whip our laptops out like Vicky does.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah, just like let's work or act like we're working
- 20:49Speaker 2: for a bit. I'm not shocked that the tensions are
- 20:52Speaker 2: running high as we end the season at the Berkshires
- 20:55Speaker 2: with a special appearance from Andy Cohen and so many
- 20:58Speaker 2: of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island team that we
- 21:01Speaker 2: seem to know so well and love so much. But
- 21:05Speaker 2: before we kind of close out as we conclude the
- 21:09Speaker 2: road trip, I do want to spend a little bit
- 21:11Speaker 2: more time, Lauren, talking about this mentalist.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Please.
- 21:15Speaker 2: You are a lot more hip than I am. And
- 21:18Speaker 2: I know that, and I'm good with it. You are
- 21:20Speaker 2: a lot more aware of what's happening in the world
- 21:23Speaker 2: around us than I am. The mentalist thing has been
- 21:27Speaker 2: a trend for the last few years. As I said,
- 21:28Speaker 2: Oz the Mentalist, I think he even had an appearance
- 21:31Speaker 2: at an award show or co-hosted one. Oh, no, he
- 21:33Speaker 2: was supposed to co.
- 21:34Speaker 3: He was a White House Correspondents Dinner.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he was supposed to do that. first and then
- 21:39Speaker 2: obviously the first one got delayed they did it again
- 21:41Speaker 2: i don't know if he actually did the second one
- 21:43Speaker 2: i think he did the second one yeah so they're
- 21:45Speaker 2: being used um their talents are i mean give what
- 21:49Speaker 2: it is spectacular i have never i mean as somebody
- 21:54Speaker 2: who is a christian i've never really found them that
- 21:58Speaker 2: like eerie like i know that they're like there was
- 22:00Speaker 2: talk there that was like it's of the devil i've
- 22:03Speaker 2: never gone that way uh i think it's just probably
- 22:06Speaker 2: how I walk, like my mindset in life. I just
- 22:09Speaker 2: don't jump to that conclusion very often. Yeah. But it
- 22:12Speaker 2: did seem to be when, um, what Chanel said it,
- 22:16Speaker 2: I think the women were like, yeah, a hundred percent. I, yeah, it's,
- 22:20Speaker 2: and I love Chanel's statement. We're like in my community,
- 22:22Speaker 2: he would have been burned.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Goodness.
- 22:26Speaker 2: That got me. That was funny. That's funny. But there was,
- 22:29Speaker 2: there was an, uh, an authenticity authenticity to what she
- 22:33Speaker 2: was saying, uh, there was an earnestness. Like she believed,
- 22:37Speaker 2: I think this at some level. And it did feel
- 22:40Speaker 2: like the women agreed. Is that what we're going, what's
- 22:44Speaker 2: happening here? Like, if so, I need to like get
- 22:47Speaker 2: my spirit radar up.
- 22:49Speaker 3: A little bit lost with how they even begin this.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Because they don't ask so many questions. So if it
- 22:58Speaker 3: was like leading questions, like think of your young, I
- 23:01Speaker 3: don't even know. I have no idea how they do it.
- 23:04Speaker 3: But it can't be demonic. It just can't be. Like
- 23:08Speaker 3: we saw Criss Angel levitate over the Luxor. We didn't
- 23:11Speaker 3: immediately think he was the devil, right? There has to
- 23:13Speaker 3: be an explanation here. So we need one of these
- 23:16Speaker 3: people to give us some kind of like an Easter
- 23:19Speaker 3: egg of how this is happening. Just so we don't
- 23:21Speaker 3: lose our minds and go devil worshiping.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Well, exactly. And I don't want to, like, if there
- 23:27Speaker 2: is no explanation, I need to know that because then
- 23:30Speaker 2: this changes my whole fascination with it. It becomes a,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I don't want to be around it. I don't need
- 23:36Speaker 2: to be near it. Get me out of the room
- 23:37Speaker 2: that it's happening in.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Do you use Ouija boards?
- 23:40Speaker 2: I don't. No.
- 23:42Speaker 3: No, because you think it's messing with them things a
- 23:45Speaker 3: little bit.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I honestly, I think as a kid, it freaked me out.
- 23:48Speaker 2: And then it's like, as an adult, I've never like,
- 23:50Speaker 2: done it yeah yeah I just like don't have one
- 23:53Speaker 2: but I do think you know every once in a
- 23:56Speaker 2: while there's things that make you feel uncomfortable I do
- 24:00Speaker 2: believe in a spirit realm I think I could argue
- 24:04Speaker 2: that forever but the mentalist stuff is more entertaining to
- 24:10Speaker 2: me so it doesn't make so when I think of
- 24:13Speaker 2: this little side tangent and please listeners respond if you
- 24:17Speaker 2: have the answers here like I would love to hear
- 24:21Speaker 2: But when I think of like demonic spirits, it's often
- 24:24Speaker 2: a place like evil will come from, pain will come
- 24:28Speaker 2: from it, hurt will come from, you know, power will
- 24:33Speaker 2: come from these evil spirits. And they can hide in
- 24:38Speaker 2: incredible ways and look like, you know, good on the surface.
- 24:43Speaker 2: And so you kind of have to like be tuned
- 24:45Speaker 2: in a little bit. I've just viewed the mentalist stuff
- 24:48Speaker 2: as entertaining. Like I just find it fascinating in that
- 24:51Speaker 2: there's no, I don't go any further. There's no pain
- 24:54Speaker 2: coming from it. There's no hurt. There is no like.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Power.
- 24:59Speaker 2: There's some control. I mean, some weird stuff there, but
- 25:03Speaker 2: it doesn't bring my radar up.
- 25:06Speaker 3: I agree. Like I a hundred percent think it's just
- 25:08Speaker 3: like taking like little cues, little cues, little cues, but
- 25:11Speaker 3: the cues are so subtle. I don't know how anyone
- 25:13Speaker 3: masters this, um, the skill. especially while answering only a
- 25:17Speaker 3: couple of questions. I think we have to maybe like
- 25:20Speaker 3: have a mentalist on here or something, but they won't
- 25:23Speaker 3: give us their tricks.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I would be so interested to have a mentalist on
- 25:28Speaker 2: to at least ask some questions to see how far
- 25:30Speaker 2: they can answer. I mean, I know that a good
- 25:32Speaker 2: artist never gives up their secrets. However, we could at least,
- 25:37Speaker 2: I'm going to chat GPT this probably afternoon.
- 25:40Speaker 3: But also like they had Kyle like raise her hand,
- 25:43Speaker 3: like the touch thing. Remember that?
- 25:45Speaker 2: I'm with you. I've seen this stuff.
- 25:47Speaker 3: It's not just like coming up with the name. It's
- 25:49Speaker 3: how am I feeling something on my shoulder right now?
- 25:52Speaker 3: That rather than coming up with the name feels more
- 25:54Speaker 3: like the devil than anything.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Because like who's touching her?
- 25:58Speaker 2: Who's touching her? How is this happening? And the most
- 26:01Speaker 2: common question coming off The Bachelor was, is it real?
- 26:04Speaker 2: And so I think when we see stuff on TV,
- 26:06Speaker 2: our assumption is this is not real. However, when you
- 26:09Speaker 2: see it in person, and I'm sure so many at
- 26:13Speaker 2: listening to this have at this point you do have
- 26:15Speaker 2: to start asking yourself the question what's happening because it
- 26:19Speaker 2: is real like this like the touching thing I think
- 26:23Speaker 2: Kyle was fully thinking Kyle's.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Not lying Kyle's not performing for us the audience just
- 26:28Speaker 3: so this guy looks like a good.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Mentalist 100% so very interesting part of this party was
- 26:35Speaker 2: the mentalist it did make me excited to talk to
- 26:38Speaker 2: you about your thoughts.
- 26:39Speaker 3: On it yeah that was my favorite part I could
- 26:41Speaker 3: watch it all day Yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. It's just entertaining to me. Hey, anyways,
- 26:47Speaker 2: if you are listening and you do have some answers
- 26:49Speaker 2: to some of the questions that I'm asking, that Lauren's asking,
- 26:52Speaker 2: please write us in. Like, I would really like to know.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I'm more, like, I'm interested. And I still think I'd
- 27:00Speaker 2: be amazed. I just want to know, like, hey, what
- 27:02Speaker 2: is actually going on here? And do I need to
- 27:04Speaker 2: stay away from it? Friends, family, listeners, write in. Uh,
- 27:12Speaker 2: the party, anything else on the party that stood out
- 27:14Speaker 2: to you? Um, the monster shoe thing was weird.
- 27:18Speaker 3: The monster shoe thing was terrible. Just another cringe moment
- 27:22Speaker 3: from Alex. Teresa not understanding what the mentalist was asking
- 27:25Speaker 3: her to do was very funny.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Yeah. What was it? Was she just too messed up?
- 27:30Speaker 3: She was very messed up. Didn't understand. But then she
- 27:32Speaker 3: thought that she had to guess what he was thinking.
- 27:34Speaker 3: And yeah, she's not the brightest bulb.
- 27:38Speaker 2: That was just awkward. And it lasted a long time.
- 27:40Speaker 2: He was kind of like, Hey, just say the name.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And she's just like, she didn't get it.
- 27:44Speaker 3: She just didn't get the point of the, of the
- 27:45Speaker 3: whole process. Other than that, I think that, um, watching
- 27:51Speaker 3: Luann at the end, talking to Rinda, talking to Dorinda
- 27:54Speaker 3: was hilarious. Cause she had her sunglasses on and her hat.
- 27:58Speaker 3: she seemed off her rocker crazier than I've ever seen
- 28:00Speaker 3: Luann when she was on FaceTime. And then there she is.
- 28:04Speaker 3: She's like, I gotta go. I'm late to get to
- 28:06Speaker 3: the virtues. I'm like, so everyone is late. Everyone is late.
- 28:09Speaker 3: And we must admit that everyone is going to be late.
- 28:11Speaker 3: You know, you can't be mad.
- 28:14Speaker 2: So yes, I said that it's like a double standard.
- 28:17Speaker 2: So we had Lisa late before then Portia's late. Now
- 28:20Speaker 2: Luann is late. Everybody's late. I'll stereotype here. I'm getting
- 28:24Speaker 2: in trouble for it. When you ask eight, Real housewives
- 28:29Speaker 2: to travel around and be on time. It ain't going
- 28:32Speaker 2: to happen.
- 28:33Speaker 3: No. The amount of suitcases, makeup, hair, unpacking, packing.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Awful. The fact that they get glam to get on
- 28:40Speaker 2: a flight or to drive to the Berkshires is also
- 28:44Speaker 2: kind of wild to me. I want to see these
- 28:46Speaker 2: girls in sweats, no makeup, rolling onto the bus, feeling
- 28:51Speaker 2: a little tired.
- 28:51Speaker 3: I love Kyle's look. I think you probably like Kyle's
- 28:53Speaker 3: look on the bus waiting for Luann. She had a
- 28:55Speaker 3: beanie on and some glasses. Really cute.
- 28:58Speaker 2: It's the way to go. I remember when Ashley wore
- 29:01Speaker 2: the backwards hat. Like, that was, you know, that stands out. Like,
- 29:06Speaker 2: just be relaxed for a little bit. You don't need
- 29:09Speaker 2: to put that fur coat on and get the makeup done.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Just hang out.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Road trip. Yeah, Alex is a little bit, she's funky.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I had never known of her before. Was the Munster thing,
- 29:22Speaker 2: is that a former scene on a show? Is that
- 29:25Speaker 2: why that happened? Okay.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Yes. So she's walking around with her huge shoes. She
- 29:33Speaker 3: comes down the stairs. Alex comes down the stairs and
- 29:35Speaker 3: Luann says, you come stomping in with your Herman monster shoes.
- 29:40Speaker 3: And then she goes, well, they were Louis Vuitton. And
- 29:42Speaker 3: then Luann goes, well, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes. And
- 29:45Speaker 3: that is the classic line from almost the whole series
- 29:51Speaker 3: put together. Yes. So she kept her shoes.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:54Speaker 2: She kept them and then brought them out to do
- 29:56Speaker 2: some wild dance. That was, uh, That's hard to watch.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Lauren and listeners, I want you thinking of this when
- 30:14Speaker 2: I ask Lauren this question. If you're asked to do
- 30:18Speaker 2: a talent show, what is your talent that you would
- 30:22Speaker 2: show off?
- 30:23Speaker 3: Well, hopefully after we get some clues here, I'll be
- 30:25Speaker 3: the mentalist. But my talent, I can fall asleep so fast.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Like you can put me, give me a bed, like
- 30:36Speaker 3: a little cot and I can be asleep in under
- 30:39Speaker 3: like 40 seconds. That's my talent.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Do you, you don't have trouble sleeping at night then? No, never.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Daytime, nighttime, anytime.
- 30:49Speaker 2: You're just consistently tired.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I'm always tired, but I love laying down. And I
- 30:55Speaker 3: love being asleep. And I rub my feet together for
- 30:58Speaker 3: about 30 seconds and I'm out.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you do the toe thing. Drives my wife crazy.
- 31:02Speaker 2: It's called cricketing. Yeah, I do that with my feet.
- 31:05Speaker 2: My dad has always done that.
- 31:06Speaker 3: My dad does it too, yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It drives her crazy. She does not enjoy my foot
- 31:12Speaker 2: rubbing together.
- 31:13Speaker 3: No, because it's very distracting. I'm so glad Hunter can
- 31:17Speaker 3: sleep through absolutely anything because I'll rub my feet into oblivion.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Oh, it's, it is kind of gross to think about. However, um,
- 31:26Speaker 2: it is, it's always been very relaxing to me.
- 31:29Speaker 3: What's your talent?
- 31:31Speaker 2: You know, it's tough. We did it when I was
- 31:32Speaker 2: the bachelor, we had a talent show on the show
- 31:35Speaker 2: and I, I wasn't trying to be difficult. It's just like, guys,
- 31:39Speaker 2: I need help here. Um, I don't have like a
- 31:42Speaker 2: talent that can show off. I do. I can turn
- 31:45Speaker 2: my arm around like an awkwardly like far amount. Like
- 31:48Speaker 2: I have like something going on there. Not really great
- 31:51Speaker 2: for a talent show. It's not like super impressive. Here's
- 31:55Speaker 2: the one thing I got. I can take my tongue
- 31:59Speaker 2: and stick it in my nose. You want to see it?
- 32:01Speaker 3: Yes. That's very far. Yeah. Wow. You don't even have
- 32:07Speaker 3: a low hanging nose. That's impressive.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:10Speaker 3: No way. I can't do it.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Yeah. So that's been pretty cool for me in the past.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Can you do the clover?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Yeah. So I got that going on. I don't have
- 32:20Speaker 2: like a great talent. I used to be able to
- 32:22Speaker 2: yo-yo pretty well. I used to be able to kind
- 32:24Speaker 2: of juggle. It's lost me over time. And so it's,
- 32:29Speaker 2: it's something I want to work on. I want to
- 32:30Speaker 2: have some talent to show off. It kind of stresses
- 32:33Speaker 2: me out.
- 32:34Speaker 3: You never know when a talent show is going to arise. Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I need something like give me a guitar and let me,
- 32:40Speaker 2: you know, strum like John Mayer. Like that would be cool.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Let's just work on one John Mayer song.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Yeah, especially in my single years. Can you imagine just
- 32:48Speaker 2: repeat on the corner, just strumming a guitar?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Do you know how many times Hunter has played me
- 32:54Speaker 3: Wonderwall in our continuous 20 years of dating? Like so
- 32:59Speaker 3: many times, just one song.
- 33:02Speaker 2: So your talent would be, hey, let me sit in
- 33:05Speaker 2: this chair. I'll be asleep in 40 seconds. You and
- 33:07Speaker 2: your sister have something. Ashley consistently on this show mentions
- 33:12Speaker 2: how her dream day is like rotting in a bed.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's just a normal human experience, right? That's
- 33:18Speaker 3: what everyone wants?
- 33:19Speaker 2: No, the idea of me spending a day like that,
- 33:23Speaker 2: not sick, stresses me out.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Okay, that's great for you then.
- 33:29Speaker 2: No, yeah, there's not a better or worse here. I'm
- 33:31Speaker 2: just saying that you guys both love the idea of
- 33:34Speaker 2: we're going to have a sister's day. We're going to
- 33:36Speaker 2: lay in the bed and watch movies, take naps.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Take naps, eat.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. That's all I really want. And a rainy day,
- 33:45Speaker 3: a rainy day with horror movies and like Buffalo wings. Yeah.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Such a, what's your perfect day then?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Like the opposite. I would love to work out, wake
- 33:56Speaker 2: up early, work out, get a good hard workout and
- 33:59Speaker 2: come home, play with Winnie. Now at this point it's changed, uh,
- 34:04Speaker 2: and the dog and then, uh, have like, uh, Blue cheese, olive,
- 34:10Speaker 2: martini at 4.30 happy hour somewhere.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Oh, that's nice.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Really fancy and cool with French fries and then come
- 34:19Speaker 2: home and be in bed by... nine that would be
- 34:22Speaker 2: like the best day and it's kind of like it
- 34:24Speaker 2: but it actually.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Is kind of doable normal day no i think that's
- 34:30Speaker 3: good that's kind of like like jared would love to
- 34:32Speaker 3: like work out play baseball play softball any any sports
- 34:36Speaker 3: and then and then early bed and.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Be exhausted when i lay in bed at night and
- 34:41Speaker 2: be like that was sick that was that would be
- 34:43Speaker 2: my thing uh okay Listeners, you have so much to
- 34:47Speaker 2: do after this show. One, tell us how mentalists work. Two,
- 34:50Speaker 2: tell us your talent and what your perfect day would
- 34:53Speaker 2: look like. I just love hearing different opinions. I love it.
- 34:57Speaker 2: We all make the world work in some specifically different
- 35:00Speaker 2: ways all the time. Hey, next week. Oh, yeah. By
- 35:04Speaker 2: the way, you can call us at 844-5-ALMOST.
- 35:07Speaker 1: 844-5-ALMOST.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Leave a message if nobody answers, and we will listen
- 35:16Speaker 2: to it. Next week is Dorinda's Bluestone Manor.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Yeah, finally.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a big deal. We see some familiar faces
- 35:27Speaker 2: there from the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. We don't
- 35:30Speaker 2: know exactly who we're going to see yet, but we
- 35:32Speaker 2: also see Andy Cohen show up. This is an iconic
- 35:35Speaker 2: location where some of the best moments are had. Anything
- 35:41Speaker 2: that you're excited to see or anything that you're expecting
- 35:44Speaker 2: to see as we enter into the final episode.
- 35:48Speaker 3: I'm just excited to see some Rhode Islanders, honestly.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I am too. I am too. Can I just
- 35:55Speaker 2: make a weird comment real quick?
- 35:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 2: As we were watching this episode, the picture for Rhode
- 36:02Speaker 2: Island Housewives popped up. You know, like when you get
- 36:05Speaker 2: in to watch the screeners, their main picture pops up.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I didn't realize like how good all of them look
- 36:11Speaker 2: in that picture. Like I saw that picture and I
- 36:14Speaker 2: was like, goodness gracious.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Like all the Rhode Island people.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Like they, if you look at that again, just
- 36:19Speaker 2: look at it. Like, I don't know what they did.
- 36:22Speaker 2: They're all very beautiful people, but like it's shockingly, it
- 36:25Speaker 2: like shocked me a little bit. Like I was like, whoa.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Uh-huh. Well, I mean, they're all very good looking people
- 36:30Speaker 3: and editing is a beautiful thing.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Specifically with Rosie. Like, really?
- 36:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Really hanging out there.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Very over the top.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Her and Luann honestly need to get together. That's what
- 36:44Speaker 3: I see.
- 36:45Speaker 2: That would be a fun group. Hey, Lauren, it's always
- 36:48Speaker 2: fun doing this with you again. Next week is at
- 36:50Speaker 2: Bluestone Manor. We get to see the conclusion of the
- 36:54Speaker 2: conversation about Luann with Luann. The Rhode Island cast is
- 36:58Speaker 2: there and Andy Cohen is is stuck in the middle
- 37:02Speaker 2: of a fight. I don't think he feels uncomfortable in
- 37:04Speaker 2: this moment. I think he is right in his element
- 37:06Speaker 2: and what he's got paid millions to do. We'll be
- 37:09Speaker 2: back next week breaking down this episode. So until next time,
- 37:14Speaker 2: I've been Ben.
- 37:15Speaker 3: I've been Lauren.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Bye.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Talk to you later.
