Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, this is Teresa Croft.
- 0:01Speaker 1: We're so glad for you to join us for a really basically a special edition of the Stuck no More podcast Today, talking about what's opening the Stuck no More Academy.
- 0:15Speaker 1: We're talking about podcasting.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We're talking about your voice finding its way on stage.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Now there's no doubt about most creators and faith-filled voices might think that creating and running a podcast involves tedious deck and maybe writer's block or voice block in podcasting.
- 0:39Speaker 1: But the true fulfillment is found when you can break down the barriers and speak from the overflow of your relationship with God.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Speak with biblical principles that give you the tools to break down the barriers okay, and then step-by-step tech to make it all come together.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think I have a heart for those who have been feeling voiceless through the years.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It's like I've gone through my own trauma, my own story, the purpose of all of this.
- 1:13Speaker 1: The story is there and it's a good story, but it's good because I've been able to walk through the drama, the drama to come out on the other side realizing you know those dreams and those purposes that God locked inside of you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: They're there for a purpose.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You can break free.
- 1:31Speaker 1: You know you don't have to be in trauma.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Sometimes you can just be voiceless because of just an identity hijack.
- 1:39Speaker 1: That's why the Stegnamore Academy, based on biblical principles, might be the most different academy that you've ever experienced, because we're going to talk about a relationship with God and how it plays a role.
- 1:51Speaker 1: The Stegnamore Academy, with teaching creators find their voice, share their voice in a podcast or on stage, is really about breaking down the barriers so that they can speak and grow their business, grow their ministry, grow their product.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It's like this Sometimes.
- 2:12Speaker 1: You know that, you know you have a story inside of you.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I always love to say what did you like to do when you played Like?
- 2:19Speaker 1: For me it was microphones.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I was just fascinated with microphones and, pretending like I was a preacher, I'd climb up the steps of this old house that we lived in If you haven't heard me say this, I'd turn around and imagine a crowd as big as Billy Graham and I would preach.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I was like I didn't want to be a priest, I just wanted to be a speaker.
- 2:40Speaker 1: We later moved and there were only two steps and I was really disgusted one day playing, I'm like sorry, two steps, what's going on here?
- 2:48Speaker 1: But I noticed in the corner of my eye an apple box.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I tipped that thing lengthwise and I did get on top of it and I did preach to the birds, the bees, the apple trees.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Hey guys, you need Jesus Threads.
- 3:02Speaker 1: What are your threads?
- 3:04Speaker 1: What did you like to do when you played?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Oftentimes it brings you full face to your purpose and you may say, teresa, I wasn't into microphones, I wasn't into stepping on stage, but yet there was something.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I had dreams of playing with my Barbie dolls and setting up a business.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I have one friend who in her early years, she would try to write like a princess, like Cinderella, and she later got cast in Disney for major years, working as an actress.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So I believe in it, that God doesn't leave you out hanging, but he lines something in you and he wants you to walk in the fulfillment of it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's what the Second, no More Academy is all about.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It's about really coming alongside you.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You don't have to do this alone.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And, yeah, we'll talk about our voice.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I've been a podcaster for six years.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Back in the days it was so tedious.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I mean I'd do a podcast like, okay, now I got to edit it, now I got a video.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I usually would video it on.
- 4:05Speaker 1: What would I do?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Zoom or even Facebook and download the audio.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But today, with the world of artificial intelligence, I believe it is more easier than before and I can't wait to just not just talk about speaking from the overflow, but really showing you some tools, or it doesn't take so long.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Like I know a lot of you like you want to expand, you want to grow your business, or maybe this is something you want to slip into your business plan because you got some other things.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Okay, I've been thinking about it, but how does it?
- 4:40Speaker 1: How is it?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Is it going to be a time consuming?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Listen to my heart.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I go and shoot, I use StreamYard and I just put a slip it into one AI machine.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Out of that AI machine I get captions for YouTube.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I can do it live, I can flip it over to my podcasting host.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So that's just the tech.
- 5:05Speaker 1: That's just the tech that could be so easy.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But this is where I want to really talk to you.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You're a creator and God's put a message.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You might have something extra God put it there to what you think is ordinary, so you can be an extraordinary solution to someone's pain point.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Your product, your business, your ministry is the solution, and podcasting is one way or speaking on stage is one way you can add it to your arsenal to share.
- 5:46Speaker 1: But you know what's really cool about podcasting?
- 5:48Speaker 1: There's something about knowing someone's driving down the road and listening to you or they're cooking their dinner and they're listening to you and you have this opportunity to not just talk about your product but really build attraction, to not just talk about your product but really build attraction, really build in your authenticity.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And I think you can be no more authentic than when you're coming from the overflow of your relationship with God.
- 6:14Speaker 1: It's like a lot of times when I'm looking into the camera, I act like I'm talking to my best friend, I'm talking to you or I'm talking to my mom.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Just sharing life, just being able, in the midst of the attraction, in the midst of the authenticity, sharing what I value.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I value having a relationship with God.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I value the overflow of being able to let that impact someone.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It's not about me, but it's about the person that God has assigned to me to speak.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It's like I like to think of it.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You don't have to be a pastor to identify with this.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You get to talk to your flock.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Who's your flock?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Who's waiting for that next solution, or who's waiting just to where's my coffee cup?
- 7:02Speaker 1: Okay, we'll be tea.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Just come up and have a cup of tea.
- 7:05Speaker 1: What tea, I mean, it's real.
- 7:08Speaker 1: That's why I'm so passionate about podcasting, because I really believe it's another way that you can connect with your ideal client.
- 7:16Speaker 1: But really you just connect with the values you have.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And it's like I hear you, I feel you, I know you love God and I know you may be struggling and I know you may be struggling and I know you want another way, maybe, to express yourself.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Your gifts were never meant to sit on the sidelines.
- 7:32Speaker 1: If you're ready to finally step out in a new venture, like podcasting or maybe speaking on stage, but you want to align your work, align your values, we can start the journey together.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I am opening the Psych no More Academy this week.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm opening the Psych no More Academy because I believe now is the time for a new season, for a new start, totally coming from the overflow of my relationship with God.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Podcasting is powerful.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I remember over six years ago I was just starting podcasting and I'm thinking, whoa, podcasting is really the new thing.
- 8:15Speaker 1: This is six years ago and I've seen the podcast world grow and grow and grow and now most creators, most purpose-driven people do have a podcast and it's so awesome because you can sit down and go on a trip popping in my favorite podcast and it's feel like I'm driving, they're driving with me.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I like that.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I think you are someone who could really create and speak to, to, to might be yeah, might be your ideal client, but guess what?
- 8:47Speaker 1: Maybe it's not right now, maybe they just need to get to know you.
- 8:53Speaker 1: You share your story.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I've been doing a special that I'll continue with part two of sharing another story my diagnosis of cancer.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's just another story.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You know you submit to God and you say, yes, god, I'll speak about it, but it's just another facet of my life that I will share, as God tells me to share.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Can I still work?
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yes, I can still work.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I know my doctor appointments that are coming up, but I can still work, I can still create.
- 9:27Speaker 1: What about you?
- 9:27Speaker 1: You know your appointments ahead.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know taking care of the kids, or you know you got this to do with your job, but can you carve out some time and just job.
- 9:39Speaker 1: But can you carve out some time and just doggone?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Get a teacup or a coffee cup.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I don't have my coffee, tea or tea and just connect with people.
- 9:43Speaker 1: There's a piece of wood in my teacup.
- 9:46Speaker 1: What's going on with that?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Okay, we're building, we are creating.
- 9:51Speaker 1: So I just really invite you.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You know, you have something that's lined in your very DNA and God has lined it in there.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I said threads about playing from what you like to do when you play, but there's something that is meant for someone else and that's why sometimes we got to find our voice, to share our voice, to speak our voice.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Sometimes it's the process of an identity shift.
- 10:17Speaker 1: What's an identity shift?
- 10:19Speaker 1: It means your belief system starts to shift to what God says about you.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I love this.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I don't know if you can see it.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Well, obviously, if you're listening, you can't.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But this is my mantra Known, chosen, worthy, loved enough.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It's my mantra Mantra you are known by God.
- 10:41Speaker 1: He knows you.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You are chosen.
- 10:44Speaker 1: You're chosen for a perfect, perfect purpose that he's put in you.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You're worthy.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You're so worthy he's like I'm not worthy.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Well, let me slap some Bible verse on you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You are righteous, that's why you're worthy.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You're like what are you talking about?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Listen, listen, it's a verse.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Can't give you the chapter and verse, but it says this he who knew no sin became sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Righteous, he who knew no sin became sin on your behalf so you could be the righteousness of God in Christ.
- 11:22Speaker 1: That's walking from the overflow.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Okay, loved, oh, come on.
- 11:26Speaker 1: We know you're loved.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to be reminded of, for God so loved the world that he gave and he gave.
- 11:32Speaker 1: He gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him would not perish, would have everlasting life.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It's just part of the belief system that you get to speak from from the overflow, overflow, overflow.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I get excited about this and, of course, sure enough, I needed like two years of therapy after my marriage to realize I was enough.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Maybe that's the number one thing.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I'm just not enough.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I can't do this.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I know I talk about podcasting.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You're only stretching.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I believe you can.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You know it was like after I was on the radio for about the C.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I was on the radio for about 15 and a half years and I had to retire because my husband was moving our family and I remember the struggle I had.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I just what was my identity?
- 12:20Speaker 1: I was so used to my identity being on the radio, but you know what happened.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I had a journey of finding my voice again and I just happened to find my voice with a microphone and I'll never forget it.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I was after my radio and we came back.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I couldn't get a job at the radio station but I remember being interviewed by a major television station and the guy was cool.
- 12:42Speaker 1: He knew me from the radio and he looked at my stuff that I had created promos and stuff and I'll never forget it to this day.
- 12:49Speaker 1: He said hey, come over here, this will date me.
- 12:52Speaker 1: He said have you ever heard of YouTube?
- 12:56Speaker 1: I was like I hadn't.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He said listen, I think you can do better on YouTube than you could working for me, getting paid the same and being away from your family, because it was a long drive.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And that became my process after I was retired to start creating videos, to find my voice on video, creating videos, to find my voice on video.
- 13:22Speaker 1: If you would go to my YouTube station, one minute I'm selling something and the next minute I'm preaching the word of God.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I was a little confused but I have.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You can see, I was using YouTube to practice my voice to speaking in a microphone.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You can do the same thing with a podcast You're like, well, I'm not, I don't.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I understand, but as you process, as you learn to speak, as you join the Signal More Academy and we talk about ways to speak, we talk about the overflow yeah, we do talk the tech, we talk the monetization, but we talk coming from your values, your relationship with God, your authenticity, your extraordinary solutions, and we teach you how to bottle that up and speak.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And it doesn't have to be great.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't know my first few podcasts I haven't been back.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I lost a few of them way back when.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But I know that I went in the closet.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I went in that closet for one there was great acoustics with the clothes in there and two, my husband wasn't really supporting me of my venture.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Then later, you know, what I did for my podcast is you could do this too.
- 14:33Speaker 1: We could talk about this.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I did do webinars and Zoom and I would record the audio and flip it over into Audacity.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Then there was Reaper all tedious things.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Now I just throw it into my secret AI tool, which I'm going to teach you, and out of that one tool you can get your audio and send it to your podcast host.
- 14:57Speaker 1: You can get it captioned and send it to YouTube.
- 14:58Speaker 1: You can get your audio and send it to your podcast host.
- 14:59Speaker 1: You can get it captioned and send it to YouTube.
- 15:01Speaker 1: You can even use the actual AI to talk into a microphone and record your podcast.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Not only record it, but give you a transcript that you can do little promos yeah, we're talking AI.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I think I could teach you the number one podcast buddy.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That's going to be chapter two.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Six weeks, seven weeks.
- 15:22Speaker 1: We do one-on-one.
- 15:23Speaker 1: That's what it's about.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Six weeks of step-by-step from the overflow of a relationship with God.
- 15:29Speaker 1: We're not going to leave God out of the picture of this because he's lined it in you to step up to the plate, get off the sidelines and begin to speak into a microphone.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Microphone, yeah, we'll go over the best microphones, inexpensive.
- 15:44Speaker 1: We'll start it inexpensive.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Like one of my dear friends, I'm just teaching her the latter part.
- 15:50Speaker 1: She's already a podcaster.
- 15:51Speaker 1: It was so fun, we got fun together.
- 15:53Speaker 1: She wanted to upgrade the studio.
- 15:56Speaker 1: We had so much fun talking about microphones and she upgraded to that.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's affectionately known in the podcast world as the Joe Morgan mic and you know it's just so fun.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I mean, we're so geeky about the microphones, even working on our covers.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I've got a I don't know if you can, you can't see it a Stuck no More thing down there you were listening, I don't know.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Think, what are you talking about?
- 16:22Speaker 1: It just says Stuck no More on my microphone.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So we're going to have fun.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Your gifts were never meant to sit on the sideline.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Your voice was never meant to be silent.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You know I was working on some thoughts.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm going to end it with this.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I was working, see.
- 16:38Speaker 1: It comes from the overflow of my relationship with God.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I was thinking about your words and your voice.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm going to end it with this your voice are containers of power.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Yes, and then this is what's amazing Every day, you get to create, innovate and celebrate your voice and you get to speak words of power in life.
- 17:08Speaker 1: What that does is you break down the chains.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you can break down the chains.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I wrote some other things down.
- 17:18Speaker 1: It's like you get to create with purpose, as I said, innovate with courage, celebrate the power of your voice, because what you speak has the power to impact, transform other lives.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And then this is what's really cool.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It says in the Word somewhere that Jesus Christ is the high priest of your confession.
- 17:46Speaker 1: So, as you learn to use your voice.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You're learning to speak words of life.
- 17:53Speaker 1: It's a confession and Jesus Christ is the high priest of that.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So there's that overflow.
- 18:00Speaker 1: As you speak words of life and power.
- 18:03Speaker 1: With faith, things will never be the same.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Your voice has the opportunity to bring transformation where chains will break, come on, hearts will hear and doors of opportunity will open in ways you never imagined you could speak that over yourself, but you have the power to speak that into a podcast.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I love Proverbs 18, 21.
- 18:27Speaker 1: The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, then, as jesus is the high priest of your confession.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Jesus watches over your words and actions to see they come to pass.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Like I said, he is the high priest of your confession.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It says it in the word.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Do I have the verse?
- 18:53Speaker 1: No, but you know I'm not a verse and I'm kind of a flow, but it's true.
- 18:59Speaker 1: How about that?
- 19:00Speaker 1: This is the kind of teaching that not only helps you find your voice but really helps you speak it.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And the Second no More Academy is all about a six week.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Seventh week is a one-to-one with me.
- 19:15Speaker 1: It's a transformational journey that takes you from ideas, takes you from finding your voice to having an impactful podcast or to be able to speak on stage.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And a lot of times your stage is your social media.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's rooted in biblical principles and from the overflow of your relationship with God, and it's the stuck, no more method.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Stuck, no more method.
- 19:43Speaker 1: That means let's find the barriers, let's break them down so you can speak confidently from the DNA, from what's lined in your DNA, but break down the barriers that are holding you back, filling you with doubts.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I can't do that and help you share your voice on podcasts and stages and this ultimately will produce the growth you're looking for in your business, in your product, in your ministry Exposure.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But once again, let's backpedal industry exposure.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But once again, let's backpedal the Stuck no More method is about attraction marketing.
- 20:21Speaker 1: It's about you being real with your audience, telling some stories.
- 20:25Speaker 1: They want to get to know you.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They don't want to hear about your product for 30 minutes or 20 minutes.
- 20:31Speaker 1: You can't see this, but my cat is getting under the covers of my bed.
- 20:35Speaker 1: It's like he knows I'm leaving in a couple of days, that I'm just sharing a part of my life.
- 20:40Speaker 1: That's an example.
- 20:41Speaker 1: So we're going to teach you how to use the authenticity of who you are and attract the ideal listeners, and the way to do that is the Sec no More method that's based on biblical principles comes from the overflow of your relationship with God.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm excited about this because I finally feel like some healing has happened in my life to fully go forward with the Sec no More Academy, and that has taken some years to get the wounds to a place where there are scars.
- 21:16Speaker 1: So I speak from my scars and not my wounds.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Even in this cancer journey I'm learning to speak that God is letting me have a scar because I'm just basically doing what he said.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Are you willing to make this a story, another story for my glory?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Yes, and to be able to be myself and really be able to communicate.
- 21:38Speaker 1: But out of that healing has come the confidence.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Of course I have my own coach.
- 21:43Speaker 1: My coach, my mentor, is so amazing, helping me first get the mind healed, reconstructed, deconstruct to reconstruct, to get over I'm not enough and to get to the point where this known, chosen, worthy, loved, enough is like my starting point, and I love to bring this you on the podcast.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Can't see that known, chosen, worthy, loved and enough to an academy, like it's a foundation to which we can talk about the tag.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Not get overwhelmed, because I'm going to show you tools that are easy to use, simple and easy how about that?
- 22:31Speaker 1: And show you ways to be able to speak on your socials more to not.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I mean, I'm 61.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I always worry about my face, but I finally say get over it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: You know it's like in 2008.
- 22:43Speaker 1: So how many years was that?
- 22:44Speaker 1: 2008, I was starting to be on camera more and I said I made a decision.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I crossed the line.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I said two things I'll never let my ego get in the way of me being on stage.
- 22:56Speaker 1: What do I mean by that?
- 22:57Speaker 1: If I have a bad hair day, I'm not going to let that keep me from speaking.
- 23:00Speaker 1: That was one.
- 23:02Speaker 1: The other line I crossed over came after some atheist grabbed a video I did of my son when he was seven years old and I videoed him sharing with me that he accepted Jesus into his heart.
- 23:17Speaker 1: And an atheist group took that video and they spread it and they just oh, that mom's brainwashing.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I mean, I got so many arrows and I was about to take it, take it down, but I thought no, I crossed the line and said on my videos, I'm not going to deter from who I am.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I have a relationship with Jesus and oftentimes that relationship comes out in my videos.
- 23:44Speaker 1: It's the same thing today.

- 25:10Speaker 1: You know, in podcasting really nothing's off limit.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And then at the end, yeah, oh, by the way, it's not like you talk on your podcast the whole time about your product, but you get to know them and they get to know you.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And then when you have another podcast episode release, they've subscribed and they're ready to listen to you.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Come on, I get excited about it, can you tell?
- 25:33Speaker 1: So I want you to be a part of it and I'm going to be right there taking your hand.
