Hoover Students Get Free Breakfast | Birmingham News
Hoover City Schools is serving free, nutritious breakfasts to every student starting August 12th—thanks to a state grant covering the entire 2026-2027 school year. Each meal includes at least three components: whole grain, protein, fruit or veggie, and milk. Families are encouraged to apply for free/reduced-price meals—even if they think they don’t qualify—because it unlocks extra benefits and helps the district secure more funding.
