Welcome back to Day 201 of our Bible reading journey.
Over the next two days, we'll be reading through the book of Hosea. Today, we're covering Hosea chapters 1–7.
As I read these chapters, I can't help but notice some striking parallels between the spiritual condition of Israel in Hosea's day and some of the challenges we see in our own society today. Hosea describes a people who had drifted from God, trusted in their own strength, pursued other allegiances, and gradually lost sight of the covenant relationship they were called to maintain.
