- 0:01Speaker 1: Hey, it's Amy with Intuitive Coaching with Amy Radio, and
- 0:04Speaker 1: this is your sacred space for spirituality, intuition, manifestation, and
- 0:10Speaker 1: metaphysical wisdom. I think I need to add personal development
- 0:14Speaker 1: to of that list because the last couple of shows
- 0:19Speaker 1: have been very rooted in personal development, and I think
- 0:22Speaker 1: this one is too, but there's definitely a spiritual component
- 0:25Speaker 1: to it. I have been on a quest I'm going
- 0:29Speaker 1: to tell you this. As an Intuitive coach, I have
- 0:32Speaker 1: encountered people as of late, not a lot of them,
- 0:37Speaker 1: but a handful of them who have fallen into complacency
- 0:42Speaker 1: and it means their life isn't terrible, but it's definitely
- 0:48Speaker 1: not what they want. And so I've been really, you know,
- 0:52Speaker 1: going within and asking how, how what do I say,
- 0:58Speaker 1: you know, to motivate somebody who's fallen into this complacency trap.
- 1:02Speaker 1: And here here are my recommendations around this. So, first
- 1:10Speaker 1: of all, love yourself enough to have a vision for
- 1:14Speaker 1: your life and connect to that vision every single day.
- 1:21Speaker 1: So one of the consistent things I've seen with people
- 1:24Speaker 1: who've fallen into this this complacency hole we'll call it
- 1:30Speaker 1: a hole, because they and you can stay in that
- 1:33Speaker 1: complacency hole for a long long time. What I have
- 1:38Speaker 1: found is they don't have clear desires and they definitely
- 1:44Speaker 1: don't have a vision for their life. And so you
- 1:48Speaker 1: got to know what you want, like truly know what
- 1:53Speaker 1: you want, write that down, visit that on a day
- 1:56Speaker 1: to day basis, and vision that on a day to
- 2:00Speaker 1: day basis. Put yourself in situations where you are encountering
- 2:05Speaker 1: aspects of your vision on a day to day basis,
- 2:08Speaker 1: whether that be you make a vision board. One of
- 2:11Speaker 1: the things I have done so that I don't grow complacent.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I know where I want to go next, and so
- 2:18Speaker 1: I signed up for various email lists where I'm getting
- 2:22Speaker 1: not necessarily content. It could be a retailer if it's
- 2:27Speaker 1: you know, I have a vision for my ideal apartment
- 2:32Speaker 1: slash workspace, and so I know where I buy my furniture,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and I get their emails and so I'll just go
- 2:40Speaker 1: through and I'll look and it becomes almost like a
- 2:42Speaker 1: vision board for me. Or if I'm going through, like
- 2:46Speaker 1: maybe I'm on Instagram or something, I'm like, ooh, that's
- 2:49Speaker 1: the way. Like I've been doing this lightly with hair.
- 2:52Speaker 1: My hair, I've been like, oh, that's that's the way
- 2:55Speaker 1: I want my hair to look and I'll take I'll
- 2:57Speaker 1: screenshot it. And what that is doing is it's rooting
- 3:02Speaker 1: me into my vision, so I always know where I'm going.
- 3:07Speaker 1: One of the things I've seen again, for those that
- 3:10Speaker 1: have fallen into complacency for whatever reason, they're not loving
- 3:17Speaker 1: themselves enough to know what they want have a vision
- 3:23Speaker 1: right that they connect to on a regular basis. The
- 3:26Speaker 1: number one thing if someone in your life who has
- 3:30Speaker 1: fallen into complacency, if you ask them what their vision is,
- 3:34Speaker 1: they don't really have one, or they're borrowing it from
- 3:38Speaker 1: someone else, or they're ruminating about the past. And that's
- 3:45Speaker 1: my next point is if you are listening to us
- 3:49Speaker 1: and you've fallen into complacency, my thought is is that
- 3:52Speaker 1: there's something that happened in the past where you are
- 3:55Speaker 1: still stuck. You're still there. So maybe you know, couple
- 4:00Speaker 1: jobs ago you got let go, or it was really stressful,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and every time you start to think about moving forward
- 4:07Speaker 1: or pursuing a better opportunity, all of a sudden you're
- 4:10Speaker 1: back in that job. I want you to start to
- 4:12Speaker 1: be aware of that. There's psychological aspects of that. So
- 4:16Speaker 1: I would say, if there is a trauma there you
- 4:19Speaker 1: might need to go and spend some time in therapy
- 4:21Speaker 1: and talk it through. What you've actually seen, more often
- 4:26Speaker 1: than not, is that they're just living in the past.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It's very easy to fall into complacency when you're constantly
- 4:35Speaker 1: looking backwards or you're using the past as proof of
- 4:41Speaker 1: what's possible in the present. The past is not a
- 4:45Speaker 1: good indicator. I can use the past psychically and I
- 4:48Speaker 1: can pick up you know, because hindsight is twenty twenty.
- 4:52Speaker 1: That's one thing to use it psychically. It's another thing
- 4:54Speaker 1: when you are using it intellectually. It doesn't fly in
- 5:01Speaker 1: the present. It takes you completely out of faith, like
- 5:05Speaker 1: you just back yourself into a corner where there's no possibility, right,
- 5:09Speaker 1: And so that's another thing. So I'll say that one
- 5:13Speaker 1: more time. If you've fallen into complacency, you are probably
- 5:17Speaker 1: living or stuck energetically, stuck in a past experience, whether
- 5:24Speaker 1: it be a job, a romantic relationship, something has left
- 5:30Speaker 1: you cocked in a in a little trap. But you
- 5:36Speaker 1: can get yourself unstuck. And there's a lot of ways
- 5:38Speaker 1: to do that. One of them, yes, is invested in
- 5:42Speaker 1: some therapy and it's showing up. But therapy and saying, hey,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I think I might be stuck in that past job,
- 5:47Speaker 1: that past relationship, that past experience. For some of us,
- 5:52Speaker 1: we might still be in the pandemic. We know it's over,
- 5:56Speaker 1: we know we're living our life on a day to
- 5:58Speaker 1: day basis out and about, but there's probably something that
- 6:02Speaker 1: happened there that wasn't resolved. Journal that out, Just journal
- 6:07Speaker 1: it out. There is great power in just writing things out,
- 6:12Speaker 1: writing your feelings out, writing what's going on when you
- 6:16Speaker 1: are feeling stuck, ask yourself, why do I feel stuck?
- 6:20Speaker 1: And then take a breath and just let yourself write
- 6:24Speaker 1: and see what comes up. The other piece if you've
- 6:28Speaker 1: fallen into complacency is you've got to start locking in
- 6:33Speaker 1: that life can always get better and better and better
- 6:35Speaker 1: and better, always get better and better and better and
- 6:38Speaker 1: better and better, and be moving towards that. So another
- 6:42Speaker 1: piece of this is action, so life gets can be
- 6:45Speaker 1: better and better and better, and you can be taking
- 6:47Speaker 1: consistent action that supports that. And then practice, whether it's
- 6:54Speaker 1: your manifestation, practice, your spiritual practice, go into church, have
- 6:59Speaker 1: a practice in place that you return to on a
- 7:03Speaker 1: day to day basis. Working out you know, over my
- 7:08Speaker 1: years because I'm a highly spiritual person, and I can
- 7:12Speaker 1: see the vine in all things. When I meet people
- 7:16Speaker 1: and I say, how do you stay connected? Whether they
- 7:19Speaker 1: have a formal spiritual practice or not, there is something
- 7:23Speaker 1: that they do. And I've said this here on the
- 7:25Speaker 1: program consistently. They don't even have to be metaphysical or spiritual,
- 7:31Speaker 1: but there is something that they do that helps them
- 7:34Speaker 1: feel connected. So do that and have a practice about that.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And then another piece to this complacency is mind your
- 7:44Speaker 1: own damn business. I'm going to quote.
- 7:48Speaker 2: The previous vice president candidate yet to mind your own
- 7:52Speaker 2: damn business. Like I am finding that as I'm having
- 7:55Speaker 2: conversations with these folks that are stuck in complacency. They're
- 8:00Speaker 2: real concerned about what other people think of them, what
- 8:05Speaker 2: other people are up to.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It's always outside of you. When you're in complacency, you're
- 8:11Speaker 1: probably really focused on something outside of you. And if
- 8:14Speaker 1: you think about it, of course you're complacent because you
- 8:16Speaker 1: can't do anything when you're looking at life from that perspective.
- 8:21Speaker 1: There's absolutely no point of control in any of that,
- 8:25Speaker 1: no point of power. If you are in business, if
- 8:30Speaker 1: you're constantly looking outside of you and looking at your
- 8:32Speaker 1: market and trying to figure out how to get somebody
- 8:37Speaker 1: to buy something from you. You're focused outside of you
- 8:43Speaker 1: instead of focusing on what's within you. So I would say,
- 8:47Speaker 1: mind your own damn business, And it's not your business
- 8:52Speaker 1: what people think of you. It's not your business what
- 8:54Speaker 1: other people are up to. It's not your business why
- 8:57Speaker 1: other people are successful and you're not. All all you
- 9:00Speaker 1: need to do is be focused on your moment and
- 9:03Speaker 1: what you can do. Things get better and better and better.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You're constantly taking action that's moving you towards your vision,
- 9:12Speaker 1: and in that process, the way you keep going is
- 9:15Speaker 1: you mind your own damn business. That's it. Yeah. I
- 9:19Speaker 1: can't say that any other way, and that can easily
- 9:22Speaker 1: you know, this is an ode to my codependent sisters
- 9:27Speaker 1: and brothers. I'm in recovery. But if you're not in recovery,
- 9:31Speaker 1: if you're actively codependent, that can also keep you from
- 9:35Speaker 1: moving forward because you're wasting a lot of time in
- 9:39Speaker 1: messy entanglements and thinking about those messy entanglements, thinking about
- 9:44Speaker 1: people and how they perceive you, or how you can
- 9:47Speaker 1: get somebody to act a certain way so you can
- 9:50Speaker 1: feel a certain way. All of that is under the
- 9:54Speaker 1: umbrella of mind your own damn business. Take good care
- 9:57Speaker 1: of yourself, focus on your life, you a priority, love
- 10:01Speaker 1: yourself enough, respect yourself enough so that you are rooted
- 10:05Speaker 1: in you. Another one that falls under the umbrella of
- 10:11Speaker 1: mind your own damn business. And this is also something
- 10:13Speaker 1: I've seen among those that are complacent. They're very judgmental.
- 10:20Speaker 1: They're judging others, they're judging themselves, they're judging circumstances. They're judging, judging, judging,
- 10:26Speaker 1: like they're not a participant in all of this. Everything
- 10:31Speaker 1: that shows up in your world is moving through you.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It's moving through you. So some part of you is
- 10:41Speaker 1: a participant in that, and so you've got to own that.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And I mean, the easiest thing is just stop judging,
- 10:53Speaker 1: stop judging, stop judging yourself, stop judging other people. Stop.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You should have done it this way, they should have
- 10:59Speaker 1: done it that way. Just stop stop, stop, stop, stop,
- 11:02Speaker 1: get out of other people's business, getting your business, and
- 11:08Speaker 1: enjoy that. It's interesting. I had someone in my family
- 11:17Speaker 1: sent a photo of a cousin of mine who's recently married,
- 11:21Speaker 1: and I wrote back and like, oh, he looks really happy. Right,
- 11:26Speaker 1: It's a cousin I grew up with and and I
- 11:30Speaker 1: just left it at that. And then the person that
- 11:33Speaker 1: said it was like, wow, they're still having problems. Da
- 11:37Speaker 1: da D Like what so that my brother, my brother
- 11:40Speaker 1: reaches out to me because he was on the chain.
- 11:43Speaker 1: He's like, why are they all been in the business,
- 11:45Speaker 1: because you know, I'm always talking to my brother about
- 11:47Speaker 1: like just we just got to mind our own business,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you know. And and it's true, like why why did
- 11:53Speaker 1: you need to put that out there? Why did you
- 11:55Speaker 1: need to put it out there? Why can't you just
- 11:57Speaker 1: be like, oh yeah in this picture and for you
- 11:59Speaker 1: look happy, go about my business. Do you see? Do
- 12:04Speaker 1: you think those three lines don't matter? But they do.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Take your power back and get back in your life,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and you'll find that you'll bust through complacency.
- 12:16Speaker 2: You know.
- 12:16Speaker 1: As I was putting these notes together, I kept hearing
- 12:19Speaker 1: the psychically hearing the Tony Robbins quote stay hungry, stay hungry,
- 12:24Speaker 1: stay hungry, and so maybe you need to just tell
- 12:28Speaker 1: yourself that I look, you know, I did a quick
- 12:30Speaker 1: Google search on the stay hungry quote just to see,
- 12:34Speaker 1: you know what. So the Google AI says Tony Robbins
- 12:40Speaker 1: defines staying hungry as a relentless drive to constantly learn,
- 12:44Speaker 1: grow and contribute rather than settling into comfort once a
- 12:49Speaker 1: certain level of success is reach and I don't need
- 12:54Speaker 1: what I'm finding with these folks that are complacent, they're
- 12:57Speaker 1: not all that successful. It's just the level of comfort.
- 13:02Speaker 1: You know, maybe they're not in survival mode, but they're
- 13:07Speaker 1: not much higher than that. And so in that I'm finding,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and I'm gonna say this my sisters and brothers and
- 13:14Speaker 1: non binary friends, that is like, you know, I've been
- 13:19Speaker 1: doing this work a long time and I've been tuned
- 13:21Speaker 1: into people's energy to help them move forward and create
- 13:26Speaker 1: the life that they want, manifest the results that they
- 13:28Speaker 1: want for a very long time. One of the hardest
- 13:32Speaker 1: energies to get fired up for anything is those that
- 13:37Speaker 1: are just a hint above survival. You know, whether they're
- 13:43Speaker 1: being supported by somebody else or you know, they're they're
- 13:47Speaker 1: in a job that's just not challenging them, but it's
- 13:50Speaker 1: not enough. It's not bothering them to go get another job.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Just a hint above survival is like is, yes, that
- 14:02Speaker 1: sounds dramatic, but really, like, I mean, I've tuned into
- 14:05Speaker 1: it psychically. I'm like, I'm like, what there's no juice there.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Where it's the juice what's getting you a motivated and hot.
- 14:13Speaker 1: They may get hot for like two seconds and then
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's like, well, you know, it's not worth it. And
- 14:20Speaker 1: I don't think it's a mental health issue like a
- 14:23Speaker 1: depression or something. I think it's just this unique phenomenon
- 14:28Speaker 1: of this time space reality that if you're just a
- 14:31Speaker 1: hint above survival, you're it's very hard to motivate yourself.
- 14:43Speaker 1: So what would I say, take this advice and stay hungry,
- 14:51Speaker 1: and then lastly, I would say, take radical responsibility for
- 14:59Speaker 1: your energy. Easier said than done. I think that is
- 15:05Speaker 1: the other pattern that I've seen among those who have
- 15:09Speaker 1: fallen into this complacencyhole is that some way, somehow they
- 15:15Speaker 1: forgot that they're in charge of their life. Am I
- 15:18Speaker 1: saying that that's fucking easy? No, No, it is work.
- 15:24Speaker 1: What I am finding is that, again, just a hint
- 15:29Speaker 1: above survival, educated, did all the things, probably has even
- 15:34Speaker 1: been in a career, probably working under their level, possibly
- 15:40Speaker 1: living with a parent, and somewhere in there, they forgot
- 15:48Speaker 1: that they create their reality. And so I would say,
- 15:52Speaker 1: be committed to maintaining a high vibration and that requires
- 15:59Speaker 1: radical responsibility. Huh yeah, anything else I would say about
- 16:08Speaker 1: the complacency want something, want something, be your own person,
- 16:17Speaker 1: Believe it can get better and better. Practice, have a
- 16:20Speaker 1: spiritual and energetic practice. I don't care if you script
- 16:24Speaker 1: every day. I don't care if you do your affirmations
- 16:25Speaker 1: every day and do them. Oh, this was the piece
- 16:28Speaker 1: I wanted to add to this. I would have noticed
- 16:31Speaker 1: about those that have fallen into this complacency whole is
- 16:35Speaker 1: that they talk about practice, right, So they're talking about affirmations,
- 16:44Speaker 1: but they're not doing them. They're talking about the trip
- 16:48Speaker 1: they want to take, but they're not actively putting things
- 16:51Speaker 1: in place. So ask yourself, am I doing more talking
- 16:54Speaker 1: then listening to my intuition and taking action? Am I
- 16:58Speaker 1: doing more thinking than moving forward? Am I constantly trying
- 17:04Speaker 1: to fix as opposed to living and being the best
- 17:11Speaker 1: version of myself? And when I say fix, it's not
- 17:13Speaker 1: even like they're the other piece. They're not trying to
- 17:16Speaker 1: fix it. They're not trying to fix it. They're talking
- 17:19Speaker 1: about a problem, but they're not actively moving towards a solution.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Within saying all of this, I get it's scary to
- 17:29Speaker 1: move out of complacency. I get that it's a lot
- 17:34Speaker 1: harder to hold a vision, maintain a vision, refine a vision,
- 17:39Speaker 1: believe that things are getting better and better. Asking yourself
- 17:42Speaker 1: where you can take action, committing to a practice. Oh
- 17:46Speaker 1: my god, that requires way more energy and focus. But
- 17:51Speaker 1: in that process, you get a life, You get a
- 17:56Speaker 1: real life, and time won't just pass you by you're
- 18:01Speaker 1: participating in the process. So those are my thoughts on
- 18:09Speaker 1: if you found yourself in complacency. I always want to
- 18:16Speaker 1: be of service to anyone, though I don't think I
- 18:22Speaker 1: I don't think I'm the best coach for you. If
- 18:25Speaker 1: you're thinking I should hire that woman, I mean, man,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you know I'm a business owner, so I you know
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'd love working with people and I love closing a sale.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But I mean, I have spent a lot of psychic
- 18:38Speaker 1: time trying to figure out a solution for this, this
- 18:41Speaker 1: complacency hole. And I pray this will get you started.
- 18:48Speaker 1: But you know I'm for I'm looking for people who
- 18:50Speaker 1: want to move, who want to take action, who have
- 18:53Speaker 1: a vision, who are ready to go. This show is
- 18:59Speaker 1: to support or someone who may have stumbled on this podcast,
- 19:05Speaker 1: or someone who knows someone who is in a complacency hole.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Maybe you can offer them some of these suggestions, but no,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I don't think i'm the right the right
- 19:18Speaker 1: practitioner for you. I believe that they're that if you
- 19:23Speaker 1: pray about it, you can find the right person to
- 19:25Speaker 1: help you move out of the complacency. But if you
- 19:28Speaker 1: are looking to move, if you are looking to create
- 19:30Speaker 1: a beautiful, amazing result in your life, and you're already
- 19:33Speaker 1: clear about your vision, you just need some support. If
- 19:39Speaker 1: you're looking up to the heavens and saying, spare it,
- 19:42Speaker 1: I'm working on this word is it at? I want
- 19:45Speaker 1: to support you. So, if you've been listening to this
- 19:47Speaker 1: podcasts a while, you already value your spiritual journey. You
- 19:51Speaker 1: know your life can be even more beautiful than it
- 19:54Speaker 1: is today. You psychically sense it. There's more available, and
- 20:00Speaker 1: you've reached a point where listening to inspired content is
- 20:03Speaker 1: no longer enough to move the dial. You now know
- 20:08Speaker 1: that you have to actively, on a day to day basis,
- 20:11Speaker 1: moment by moment, apply these principles and practices to your
- 20:15Speaker 1: life to receive everything you sense is available to you.
- 20:20Speaker 1: This is where you and I come together. This month
- 20:23Speaker 1: marks my sixteenth anniversary of the show. Sixteen years of
- 20:27Speaker 1: intuitive coaching, and for sixteen years I have helped people
- 20:31Speaker 1: in my private practice bridge the gap between spiritual insight
- 20:35Speaker 1: and real life results. Yes, my podcast offers you spiritual
- 20:41Speaker 1: wisdom and reminders on your journey. Many of these principles
- 20:47Speaker 1: you already know, though I like to believe I offer
- 20:50Speaker 1: you a new I'm always looking for a new practice,
- 20:53Speaker 1: creating a new practice. But it can be really difficult
- 20:57Speaker 1: to apply this wisdom to your life in a way
- 21:00Speaker 1: that creates immediate forward momentum. So let's do this for
- 21:06Speaker 1: ninety days. Let's focus on what you want to create.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Let's just give it your all, and let's see how
- 21:18Speaker 1: magical your life can be. Bring your dreams, your desires,
- 21:24Speaker 1: your questions, your frustration, your decisions, and your struggles, and
- 21:30Speaker 1: in session, you will explore the spiritual and energetic pieces
- 21:33Speaker 1: of your situation that maybe you're not seeing clearly. You'll
- 21:37Speaker 1: explore where the shift needs to occur, and you'll explore
- 21:41Speaker 1: and know the next right step towards your transformation. I
- 21:48Speaker 1: am your spiritual ally. I tune in psychically, and I
- 21:53Speaker 1: translate that guidance into practical action that creates real results.
- 21:57Speaker 1: In your life, whether you desire greater income, financial freedom,
- 22:02Speaker 1: a thriving business, a loving romantic relationship, better health, to
- 22:06Speaker 1: release weight, to complete a creative or passion project, or
- 22:10Speaker 1: to be your best self more of the time, we
- 22:17Speaker 1: you and me will stay focused on your vision until
- 22:21Speaker 1: your outer life reflects what you have been sensing is
- 22:24Speaker 1: true for you all along. Enrollment for my three month
- 22:30Speaker 1: Intuitive Coaching package is officially open. I'm accepting thirteen new clients.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Enrollment closes when those spots are filled. Yeah, we're in
- 22:41Speaker 1: markety retrograde. But this is the time to return to
- 22:45Speaker 1: what your inner wisdom has already been telling you. So
