We'll learn the simple present tense. Luna: Oh cool. Like how to say 'I eat' or 'I drink'? Lucas: Exactly. Let's start with 'I eat'. In Telugu, 'I eat' is నేను తింటాను. Luna: నేను తింటాను. Lucas: Perfect! Now repeat it with me: నేను తింటాను. Luna: నేను తింటాను. That feels good. Lucas: Now let's add a word. 'I eat breakfast' — నేను అల్పాహారం తింటాను. Luna: నేను అల్పాహారం తింటాను. Lucas: Great. Next, 'I drink' — నేను తాగుతాను. Luna: నేను తాగుతాను. Say it again? Lucas: నేను తాగుతాను. Now 'I drink tea' — నేను టీ తాగుతాను. Luna: నేను టీ తాగుతాను. I love tea. Lucas: Good. Now 'I read' — నేను చదువుతాను. Luna: నేను చదువుతాను. That's a new one. Lucas: 'I read a book' — నేను పుస్తకం చదువుతాను. Luna: నేను పుస్తకం చదువుతాను. I can say that.
