- 1:12Speaker 2: If if it was blark Bent, his costume would be
- 1:15Speaker 2: all red?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Right, there's no crip, So yeah, he'd had to be
- 1:21Speaker 1: an all red Superman with like some yellow in it.
- 1:24Speaker 3: That's right, all right, that's correct. Why are you about
- 1:27Speaker 3: to do that for Halloween?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Nah, I'm doing Swagglelactics again.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Yeah, come on, shout out to that again.
- 1:34Speaker 3: If y'all wasn't there for New York Comic Con, y'all
- 1:37Speaker 3: missed the birth of an incredible superhero. I don't even
- 1:40Speaker 3: you're gonna call him superhero and entity if you will, Ben,
- 1:44Speaker 3: I mean Swaggle Actus.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Which was very famous.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Actually the on the day on what was it, Sunday
- 1:50Speaker 3: that you brought out Swaggle at this the clouds parted,
- 1:53Speaker 3: the heralds was there trumpeting your your entry into the world,
- 1:58Speaker 3: and everyone respond in kind. People were just like not
- 2:02Speaker 3: my planet, please, But also a lot of people want
- 2:06Speaker 3: to take pictures with you. They were really happy to
- 2:07Speaker 3: see you, And I was like, I just want you
- 2:09Speaker 3: to know like you actually bought a lot of joy
- 2:10Speaker 3: to people, especially little kids.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I was actually surprised.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I thought they would be scared of you, but a
- 2:14Speaker 3: lot of them were just like, oh excited. They want
- 2:16Speaker 3: to take pictures, you know, just because you had like
- 2:19Speaker 3: sometimes we have a big presence, it's scared children, but
- 2:21Speaker 3: like these kids was all over you.
- 2:23Speaker 4: They were really wanted to be near you, so I
- 2:26Speaker 4: thank you. You did a really good job.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: No, I was very surprised myself too, how much the
- 2:31Speaker 1: kids love swagging at this and just Glatus in general,
- 2:33Speaker 1: like they knew him by name. They were immediately running up, like, yo,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I want to take a picture with Galactus and all that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So that was very dope.
- 2:40Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, and these are also kids of nerds,
- 2:43Speaker 3: so of course I'm sure that they've taught them.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I definitely taught them. Well yeah, yeah, but they're
- 2:48Speaker 2: still surprising. On that note.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Though, it's supposed to rain in New York. Man, I'm
- 2:53Speaker 1: hoping the weather gets better because it's Halloween. Yeah, it's
- 2:56Speaker 1: not looking good right now.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Ah, And that's because Hollamies was on a Friday this hit,
- 3:02Speaker 3: and like you know that that only happens every few years,
- 3:05Speaker 3: and because that means it's like an extended Halloween weekend
- 3:08Speaker 3: and that would suck.
- 3:10Speaker 4: But there's always Saturday, yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I know, but we had all these plans for like
- 3:13Speaker 1: the kids on Friday with yeah, there's a whole block
- 3:16Speaker 1: party thing going on and stuff.
- 3:18Speaker 3: It sucks, you know, maybe got to do an indoor thing,
- 3:22Speaker 3: you know what I mean, go to the go to
- 3:24Speaker 3: the rec center, shut up some tables.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Breaking Too, that's what it was called.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Okay, the rec center, not.
- 3:38Speaker 1: The rec center. Gotta save the rec center. We're gonna
- 3:41Speaker 1: put on a breakdance battle. That was literally the plot
- 3:44Speaker 1: of I think Breaking Too was that they were trying
- 3:46Speaker 1: to save the rec center and they had to put
- 3:48Speaker 1: on a breakdance battle. News to me, Yeah, trust me,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I've only seen it on recently on Hulu.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I think I beat some of it. Don't shoot me, y'all.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I know I've never seen I've never seen a lot
- 4:01Speaker 1: of the super old school hip hop movies I did
- 4:03Speaker 1: not see.
- 4:04Speaker 2: That's one of my secret chains.
- 4:06Speaker 4: It's all right, there's no reason to be ashamed.
- 4:08Speaker 2: You're good.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it is what it is. I did see house
- 4:12Speaker 1: party in theaters. That was my generation.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yeah, tons of house parties that would actually we just
- 4:19Speaker 3: experienced house parties, clubs, tailgates, another club, bus club like
- 4:26Speaker 3: everything was happening this past weekend.
- 4:28Speaker 2: If you go to any after after parties.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Well we're talking about HU homecoming, y'all. So as y'all know,
- 4:34Speaker 3: me and Ben, I mean, are proud Howard alums. Howard
- 4:37Speaker 3: University in Washington, DC did I go to any after parties.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I went to multiple parties on t.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I'm talking about like, did you do like the when
- 4:49Speaker 1: the club closed, the.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Afters oh the afters hell not because Saturday I O
- 4:53Speaker 3: D Saturday.
- 4:54Speaker 4: I OD. I was like, I don't know.
- 4:57Speaker 3: It was like from ten am on through like three
- 5:00Speaker 3: o'clock in the morning, I was just and it was NonStop,
- 5:02Speaker 3: like I just kept hitting up different places.
- 5:04Speaker 4: And at that time, I was like, fuck this, I'm
- 5:06Speaker 4: going home.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So I was definitely did tell me, I did not
- 5:09Speaker 2: want it. Didn't tell me, but I ended up beating.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I was in toxic on October eleventh, October twelfth, and
- 5:16Speaker 2: thirteenth and fourteenth, I was intoxicated. I drank all of
- 5:19Speaker 2: those days. I drank and except fourteen man, listen.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I got in town on Thursday night and it did
- 5:30Speaker 1: not stop till Sunday night. That's when I wow, you know,
- 5:34Speaker 1: laid down my crown.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yeah no, I mean and my husband. I we and
- 5:38Speaker 3: my husband's also a Howard grad. We left like somewhere
- 5:42Speaker 3: early Sundays, so we didn't even get to enjoy the
- 5:44Speaker 3: festivity on Sunday. Really, you know, no brunches and nothing
- 5:47Speaker 3: like that. But you know, shout out to old Howard Gallo.
- 5:50Speaker 3: On Friday, we want say that that's you know you dress,
- 5:53Speaker 3: stuck in your finest, you know, doing ratchet things with
- 5:55Speaker 3: your hood rat friends.
- 5:57Speaker 4: And then, like I said, Saturday was literally just because.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Everyone feels the need that they got to throw their
- 6:01Speaker 3: own party, even though we're all part of the same class.
- 6:04Speaker 3: So unfortunately it had you spread out all over the city,
- 6:07Speaker 3: which I actually really hate. I would wish that they
- 6:09Speaker 3: would condense it a little bit more. You know, I
- 6:12Speaker 3: understand one of they maybe split the crowd a little bit,
- 6:14Speaker 3: but it gets annoying.
- 6:16Speaker 4: That said, I still had a good time. We had
- 6:18Speaker 4: a good time.
- 6:18Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:19Speaker 3: My niece also just graduate from Howard University last year,
- 6:21Speaker 3: so this was her first homecoming as an alum. Got
- 6:24Speaker 3: to hang out with.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Her at park Like it was cool, and.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I got to see plenty of friends and all that
- 6:29Speaker 3: other stuff. Definitely I wasn't even supposed to really be there.
- 6:33Speaker 3: It definitely felt different from last year, which was the hundredth.
- 6:35Speaker 3: This year was a little bit more low key related
- 6:40Speaker 3: to you know, in relation to last year. And then
- 6:43Speaker 3: also even yeah, and then also I just yeah, nineth
- 6:49Speaker 3: pretty good. I yeah, like I said, I just was
- 6:51Speaker 3: really annoyed, especially with the with the change about tailgate, right,
- 6:55Speaker 3: Like we don't have tailgate in the parking lot next
- 6:59Speaker 3: to the towers any more, right, And there are there's
- 7:01Speaker 3: a smaller version of it that's in Banneker across the street,
- 7:04Speaker 3: but like that's not really for everybody, and it's just
- 7:07Speaker 3: not the same, right, nothing was the same, right, So
- 7:11Speaker 3: it's get next to McDonald's.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Gotten a little weird though, I have to say, because
- 7:15Speaker 1: it turned into like everybody, like.
- 7:17Speaker 4: You said, so that was what made the legendary.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I mean when you have niggas jumping the fence like
- 7:23Speaker 3: fucking their underwear getting caught on a.
- 7:28Speaker 4: That was hilarious. I thought that that was cool.
- 7:31Speaker 2: That's cool for the moment, But like my like when
- 7:33Speaker 2: I'm in there with you know, negroes wearing tight jeans
- 7:37Speaker 2: and yeezys, I'm like, nah, fam, you know, like we
- 7:40Speaker 2: need some separation of classes, like you know what I mean,
- 7:42Speaker 2: Like you don't want to hang with them with the
- 7:45Speaker 2: baby in school, you can't be at my tailhare. I'm sorry,
- 7:53Speaker 2: you got you gotta at least have graduated, fam to
- 7:56Speaker 2: be at the tailgate. That I've tried to be at
- 7:58Speaker 2: you know what I mean. I can't at the tailgate
- 8:01Speaker 2: when you're in when you got to go to class
- 8:02Speaker 2: off Monday.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I'm sorry, bro, you don't want to be in the
- 8:04Speaker 4: tailcas with a baby Bison.
- 8:06Speaker 1: No, like, not when I'm no, Like I say, baby
- 8:08Speaker 1: is fine when you're you know, graduated alumni baby Bison,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but when you're still, like when you're waking up to
- 8:14Speaker 1: go to class on Monday. Now, you can't be at
- 8:16Speaker 1: my tailgate fail. Wow, that's what I mean that that's
- 8:18Speaker 1: when that's not a little too excessive. That was that
- 8:21Speaker 1: was excessive. You know, I get it. I get why
- 8:23Speaker 1: they shut that down.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Well, the funny part is I would never like, I'm
- 8:25Speaker 3: know they were there, but I wouldn't see them anyway
- 8:27Speaker 3: because the tents I'm hanging out with they're not necessarily
- 8:30Speaker 3: coming to. That's so big, Well, wasn't big. You don't know,
- 8:35Speaker 3: it's a very small It was a big crowd.
- 8:39Speaker 4: So it was easy not to see certain people.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Oh no, it was.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Easy not to But when cats is called an earl
- 8:45Speaker 1: right in front of you, it's easy to see that too.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Well, that was the thing I say.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I can see a lot of baby bison not being
- 8:51Speaker 3: able to hold the liquor. And I'm just like, come on, guys,
- 8:55Speaker 3: I mean you could, you can. You can do what
- 8:56Speaker 3: you want to do. You can party, but you gotta
- 8:58Speaker 3: get your ship to get You gotta know your limits
- 9:00Speaker 3: and know when to say when. That's all I gotta say.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Because y'all look y'all looking crazy in the streets.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Crazy.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Someone on TikTok. They actually put up a post talking
- 9:10Speaker 3: about they went to the homecoming. I don't even think
- 9:12Speaker 3: they went to Howard, but they were like you girls
- 9:15Speaker 3: wearing mini skirts and forty degree weather, which it was.
- 9:17Speaker 3: And he ain't nothing wrong with dad, but you can't
- 9:19Speaker 3: be laid out on the street drunk in the dirt.
- 9:23Speaker 3: And he said he kept seeing that happen over and
- 9:25Speaker 3: over with younger.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Kids in the dirt.
- 9:28Speaker 2: He didn't go here.
- 9:29Speaker 3: That doesn't matter. He still has the valid point. Don't
- 9:31Speaker 3: be in a dirt. That's like, that's just not like
- 9:34Speaker 3: I know how to hold they look in keep they
- 9:36Speaker 3: shit together. I gotta say that so not true.
- 9:41Speaker 4: My class, dude, I don't know much of class.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Sounds good. Your classes thousands with.
- 9:46Speaker 4: My classroom is a bunch of drunkards too.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Every class is a bunch of drunkards, and every class
- 9:54Speaker 2: past moments where they don't hold it together. Because I
- 9:57Speaker 2: had moments where I didn't hold it together. I got
- 10:00Speaker 2: as a.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Unit, not as individuals.
- 10:02Speaker 2: As individuals make up the unit. It's together that day.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that that's one thing, But it's also another
- 10:13Speaker 3: thing when it's like your whole class is known for
- 10:15Speaker 3: just being sloppy.
- 10:16Speaker 4: That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm like. Damn
- 10:18Speaker 4: bro like people doing tiktoks about it.
- 10:20Speaker 1: That's just haters every class. But if you like, I'm
- 10:26Speaker 1: like again, I didn't go to a time when there
- 10:29Speaker 1: was social media.
- 10:30Speaker 4: So there were social media when I when I was at.
- 10:36Speaker 2: There, But the grace of God, I go because you
- 10:38Speaker 2: alould have called us monsters.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Either way, I still have fun at homecoming.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I know you had had a blast. Shout out.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I guess I shouldn't say their name, but shout out
- 10:51Speaker 1: to the fan who approached me at Florida Agrill said
- 10:56Speaker 1: they've been listening to us for a long time and
- 11:00Speaker 1: then had me concern for the rest of the weekend.
- 11:02Speaker 1: After we shook hands and they told me that my
- 11:04Speaker 1: hands were cold and was my health okay?
- 11:08Speaker 4: He said, Yo, I A in low bro.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's like, famn, thank you for listening and all that
- 11:17Speaker 1: all not.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Engaging your health.
- 11:21Speaker 2: And a chance encounter and a chance encounter. I'm like,
- 11:24Speaker 2: it's cold outside.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, like my hands are naturally
- 11:28Speaker 1: unnaturally warm. So I don't know what was going on
- 11:30Speaker 1: at that point, but shout out to you, thank you
- 11:33Speaker 1: for listening. I won't say a name because you know,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I don't know if I didn't get permission for all that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, privacy, Yeah, but they are they've been
- 11:39Speaker 1: a listener for a long time.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, And that was really dope.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That was you know, it's always dope and people will
- 11:43Speaker 1: come up and tell us the fans of the show,
- 11:46Speaker 1: but at Homecoming it's etra special.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I got a lot of that.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I got a lot of people to say and you know,
- 11:50Speaker 1: keep doing what you're doing and all that stuff and
- 11:52Speaker 1: with everything with the show, with the book everybody. So
- 11:55Speaker 1: that was really dope. That was one thing about Homecoming
- 11:57Speaker 1: this year that was really ill to me. Like as
- 12:01Speaker 1: much as normally it's like yo, you ain't getting on
- 12:02Speaker 1: the DJ, you know, like this year is a lot
- 12:05Speaker 1: more of like yo, you know, bit shout out to
- 12:07Speaker 1: you on your podcast, on your book, you know, all this.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Type of stuff. So that was very fire.
- 12:12Speaker 4: That's what's up.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Somebody said they were going to buy the lion or
- 12:15Speaker 1: shirt that you're wearing right now because I was rocking it.
- 12:17Speaker 2: And they were like, yo, I gotta get that joint.
- 12:19Speaker 4: So yeah, you know, for all nerds dot com, there
- 12:22Speaker 4: it is.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I told them right then, I told you I'm want
- 12:25Speaker 3: to start carrying out Q and any time and bis,
- 12:27Speaker 3: I'll be like that, don't say two words. You need
- 12:30Speaker 3: to scan it first, scan it first.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Thing to talk. Mm hmm. Let me say something because
- 12:36Speaker 2: we were talking about this.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Before the show, and I think what it's been going on,
- 12:40Speaker 1: especially personally with me, it's like I'll have these weekends
- 12:43Speaker 1: like Homecoming and New York Comic Con, which are really
- 12:46Speaker 1: been super fantastic and kind of surreal and not really
- 12:52Speaker 1: taking place in the reality that we live in day
- 12:54Speaker 1: to day. Basically. You know, with New York Comic Con,
- 12:57Speaker 1: you have a weekend full of geeks and progressive nerds
- 13:01Speaker 1: and all kinds of different people coming together and just
- 13:04Speaker 1: unified in their love of nerd theom right and then
- 13:08Speaker 1: you know, Howard, you have all these beautiful black people
- 13:12Speaker 1: coming together and just you know, we have this unification
- 13:15Speaker 1: of all having gone through the same struggle being in Howard,
- 13:18Speaker 1: that history of Howard, et cetera, et cetera. Like it's
- 13:22Speaker 1: just a while, you know, hearing that song at the
- 13:24Speaker 1: end of one party I was at when people are singing,
- 13:27Speaker 1: I'm so glad I went to you know, Howard, you
- 13:30Speaker 1: were not a white school.
- 13:31Speaker 2: It's just it fels you know, it feels glorious. I
- 13:34Speaker 2: can't lie. It feels fucking glorious. And then you come
- 13:39Speaker 2: back to reality. You know. Here we are the ghost rabbits. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 2: you know they had to do it right here we
- 13:50Speaker 2: are stuck in this malaise. I guess one way to
- 13:55Speaker 2: say it, Like I mean from one went out in
- 13:57Speaker 2: the worst of you know, shout out to Jamaica, you know,
- 13:59Speaker 2: prayers up for them, fast for all the islands, for Cuba,
- 14:04Speaker 2: for we have.
- 14:05Speaker 4: We have listeners in Jamaica as well, so you know.
- 14:07Speaker 3: We we we've been and I have family friends who
- 14:10Speaker 3: in they're praying, praying, praying for you, I know, like
- 14:13Speaker 3: Myntego based and a few areas near there suffered the
- 14:16Speaker 3: worst of it.
- 14:17Speaker 1: That's for my peoples that I hit. My Man of
- 14:19Speaker 1: Godlin shout out to my brother God when I hit
- 14:20Speaker 1: in my bike. I ain't heard bad from him yet.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I got. Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Communications are down across the across the island, and it's
- 14:27Speaker 3: really hard for message. So that's why I'm like, I'm
- 14:28Speaker 3: just praying for everybody's safety. People who there's some people
- 14:31Speaker 3: who were able to get in touch with others who
- 14:33Speaker 3: are still kind of in the wind a little bit.
- 14:35Speaker 4: So we're just praying at this point.
- 14:37Speaker 2: M hm. But back in America, you know, we are
- 14:41Speaker 2: back in America. We are dealing with our own drama
- 14:44Speaker 2: and issues that seems to get worse and worst every day, and.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Millions were gonna lose Snap benefits November first, that is Saturday, right, yeah, Saturday.
- 14:57Speaker 2: You know, it's just it's really tough.
- 15:00Speaker 1: And I were over here, you know, hey, you know,
- 15:02Speaker 1: go to fa all Nerves dot Com and buy a shirt,
- 15:04Speaker 1: you know, and I'm over here. You know, go to
- 15:07Speaker 1: DJ Black Dance Energy and you know, pick up some
- 15:11Speaker 1: music and it's or you know, even listening to the show,
- 15:15Speaker 1: and it's really difficult. I'll be honest, you know, to
- 15:18Speaker 1: do any of those type of things in this environment
- 15:21Speaker 1: when I'm looking at long term of how you know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: what's going on with the economy, how it's just I mean,
- 15:27Speaker 1: it is in a dumpster fire, to say the least.
- 15:30Speaker 3: It's and there has been announcements of like twenty I
- 15:35Speaker 3: mean massive layoffs, of course.
- 15:37Speaker 4: I mean there was only like just.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Just today there was like a post about twenty plus
- 15:40Speaker 3: companies laying off like tens of thousands of people, not
- 15:44Speaker 3: like a few hundred, tens of thousands, and like huge
- 15:48Speaker 3: you know, they call you know, the white collar companies
- 15:50Speaker 3: as well as blue collar companies.
- 15:52Speaker 2: So yeah, up, you know that's great.
- 16:01Speaker 1: All you can say it is like I'm sitting here,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't really know where I'm going with this. Like funny,
- 16:06Speaker 1: I'm the type to have some type of positive energy,
- 16:10Speaker 1: you know, like I have a cousin who believes in
- 16:12Speaker 1: positive energy only.
- 16:13Speaker 2: And I'm not that type of dude, you know.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'll be honest, I'm definitely someone who wallows and a
- 16:17Speaker 1: lot of shit sometimes. But when I come on the show,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I try and have some type of you know, well,
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know, hey, folks.
- 16:26Speaker 4: But there's the light of Danny the tunnel type shit.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yeah, and.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I don't know about that right now, you know, I've like,
- 16:34Speaker 1: I know there is a light at the end of
- 16:35Speaker 1: the tunnel. I know that overall things will get better,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I guess, you know.
- 16:41Speaker 2: See, it's it's so hard for me to even say that.
- 16:45Speaker 4: It's kind of like it's hourly as you know, things.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Feel like it could get worse right or will get
- 16:52Speaker 3: worse right, And the way I've been realizing like a
- 16:56Speaker 3: lot of stuff. When people it's like, oh, you know,
- 16:59Speaker 3: oh the worst is to happen, and all that stuff.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Usually the bomb already dropped and you're dealing with the fallout, right,
- 17:05Speaker 3: So not to say that that was the beginning of
- 17:08Speaker 3: the fallout, but it was at least outwardly the beginning
- 17:12Speaker 3: to fall out. The bomb dropped last year November or
- 17:15Speaker 3: or excuse me, whenever it was, whatever the date was.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Where where he where.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Four years ago when he first started?
- 17:21Speaker 4: Sure, four years ago, that's when the fucking bomb dropped.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And granted we were in spaces where we were shielded,
- 17:30Speaker 3: especially if.
- 17:30Speaker 4: You live in a blue spit you may have eight years.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Now, yeah, you may have been shielded from some things,
- 17:35Speaker 3: but by at the end of the day, the bomb
- 17:36Speaker 3: did already blow up, and it has just been the
- 17:41Speaker 3: fallout just is now speeding up. And again that's not
- 17:44Speaker 3: to mitigate how our advice feeling.
- 17:47Speaker 4: That is not to say that you know, like you
- 17:50Speaker 4: should feel how you feel right now.
- 17:51Speaker 3: That's how I feel like. I feel like at times
- 17:53Speaker 3: I feel helpless. I feel like, what the fuck am
- 17:55Speaker 3: I supposed to do?
- 17:56Speaker 4: Like? What can I control?
- 17:57Speaker 3: Is is my action going to make a difference?
- 18:01Speaker 2: Right?
- 18:02Speaker 4: Again, I live in a blue state. You live in
- 18:04Speaker 4: a blue state.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Not to say that that's the end all be all,
- 18:07Speaker 3: but you have some shielding there because you have leaders
- 18:10Speaker 3: that have a backbone.
- 18:11Speaker 2: We live in a blue city. Our state is state.
- 18:14Speaker 4: No state. New York is a blue state.
- 18:16Speaker 3: New York is like there's pockets, yes, yes, yes, there's
- 18:18Speaker 3: Republicans in bullshit everywhere, fucks Thatton Island. That's not what
- 18:22Speaker 3: I'm talking about, though, I'm talking about who's the governor
- 18:24Speaker 3: right now and what does she do right or what
- 18:27Speaker 3: do they do? Same with other places. There are other
- 18:30Speaker 3: places and people who are in other states that are
- 18:33Speaker 3: not in those situations right where they're directly fighting against it.
- 18:36Speaker 3: And I know the prescription that everyone's been saying is
- 18:39Speaker 3: you know, and honestly that is if you're looking for
- 18:42Speaker 3: some semblance of power when voting is right around the corner,
- 18:48Speaker 3: November fourth, right around the court of Verb fifth, right
- 18:50Speaker 3: around the corner, that is your time vote these motherfuckers
- 18:54Speaker 3: out primary these motherfuckers, Like, I don't know how much
- 18:59Speaker 3: can be rest in that way? Is it going to
- 19:01Speaker 3: be the bomb of Gilead? Like is that gonna solve everything?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Absolutely not, But it's gonna give us a chance. And
- 19:08Speaker 3: I think that's what people got to understand, Like we
- 19:10Speaker 3: gotta give ourselves some type of chance.
- 19:13Speaker 4: These niggas is gonna do what the fuck they want
- 19:14Speaker 4: to do. They're gonna skirt the law. They're gonna skirt
- 19:17Speaker 4: of course, they're gonna do all the stuff.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Well, shit, let's put in some type of some type
- 19:21Speaker 3: of defense something like just because the shit is like
- 19:25Speaker 3: it looks helpless, doesn't mean you should do nothing. And
- 19:28Speaker 3: that's all I'm really saying about that, Like, there is
- 19:31Speaker 3: stuff you can do, or you can influence the best
- 19:35Speaker 3: of your ability, do that. Try there are stuff that
- 19:41Speaker 3: we are all trying to do to try to enforce
- 19:46Speaker 3: some type of change.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Like I have mentioned to you, there's that economic blackout
- 19:51Speaker 3: that has been recently announced, which is like and it's
- 19:56Speaker 3: been going through like the black the black community, but
- 19:59Speaker 3: I know that there's been expanding outwardly. But from November
- 20:03Speaker 3: twenty fifth to December second is a protest against working
- 20:07Speaker 3: or spending money during that week, and that typically is
- 20:10Speaker 3: the it might be the highest spending week of all
- 20:14Speaker 3: the year for this country because that's Black Friday.
- 20:17Speaker 4: That's around things give us when people start shopping for Christmas.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Data ada.
- 20:21Speaker 3: My thing is, we got to speak. We gotta speak
- 20:24Speaker 3: and control what we can. We can speak with our dollars, right,
- 20:27Speaker 3: We've done.
- 20:27Speaker 4: That with Target.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Target was in the fucking trash this last damn near
- 20:32Speaker 3: two years.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Now have they made a change.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Have they announced, Oh they're going back to d I No,
- 20:38Speaker 3: but guess who ain't shopping there? And guess what money
- 20:40Speaker 3: they still don't have? Guess where their fucking stock is
- 20:43Speaker 3: right now? Billions you understand, like billions and value loss, Like,
- 20:47Speaker 3: there's ways you can hurt these niggas, and that's like,
- 20:51Speaker 3: we have to identify those ways that you can hurt them.
- 20:55Speaker 4: We live in a capitalistic society, so the dollar is king.
- 20:58Speaker 4: We're moved that.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Remove that power. Don't spend that money if you can't.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I understand that's not cool for everybody. That's another thing,
- 21:07Speaker 3: like I also understand a lot of people they see
- 21:09Speaker 3: these days like well, nigga, I cannot go to work.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Heard I cannot go to work either, But I cannot
- 21:15Speaker 3: not shop on Amazon. I cannot not go go you know,
- 21:20Speaker 3: unless I'm trying. I'm trying to get something from my
- 21:22Speaker 3: baby or something like that. Like I don't got to
- 21:24Speaker 3: go to the fucking store. I don't gotta buy no
- 21:27Speaker 3: fucking clothes. I ain't gotta do shit but stay black.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I've definitely been off target. I got it's harder to
- 21:35Speaker 2: get off Amazon. But we're definitely not nearly as frequent
- 21:39Speaker 2: as buyers as we used to be of Amazon at all. Man,
- 21:41Speaker 2: I used to have Amazon Pike and descrumming through this so,
- 21:44Speaker 2: you know, constantly, and now it's slowed down considerably. And
- 21:49Speaker 2: during that week I definitely won't be doing anything. So
- 21:52Speaker 2: that's not an issue because.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Even for Christmas, and you know that shit's cancelled to me,
- 21:56Speaker 1: like you know, buying, yeah, like buying up a bunch
- 21:59Speaker 1: of shit for people, is like, and there's other ways.
- 22:03Speaker 4: To go about now.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Granted, people are gonna have either reasons valid reasons and
- 22:08Speaker 3: or excuses about why they can't do this and why
- 22:10Speaker 3: they can't do that.
- 22:11Speaker 4: There are alternatives, right, make some shit for your family.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Yep, buy some shit.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Look, get your arts and crafts up.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Support black businesses, Support.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Black business independently owned businesses.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Sorry if you, if you, if you a crafty motherfucker,
- 22:28Speaker 3: you know how to make clothes and shit, make some
- 22:30Speaker 3: motherfucking clothes for somebody, understand, Like they're like, we really
- 22:33Speaker 3: got to get created and be like, damn, how do
- 22:35Speaker 3: I if I have an ability to how do I
- 22:39Speaker 3: not deal with this right? Or how do I do
- 22:41Speaker 3: it in a different way that still benefits my community?
- 22:44Speaker 3: And still, as they say, sticks it to the mand right, like,
- 22:48Speaker 3: there there are avenues to take.
- 22:52Speaker 2: I can make people chopsticks. I learned how to do
- 22:54Speaker 2: that this summer.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Look at that chop sicks by bad I mean.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Shout up to my home website is definitely the chop
- 23:03Speaker 2: said master.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Chops bad, I mean, I mean it's we have to
- 23:08Speaker 3: just and again within your means, within within reason.
- 23:13Speaker 1: The culture appropriation is chops I mean it's so wild.
- 23:19Speaker 4: That is bad appropriate, that's culturally inappropriate.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Just getting rich.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Make chop sticks culturally appropriate. I don't know what that
- 23:39Speaker 4: three is for? Is profit, but I don't know. I
- 23:42Speaker 4: don't know.
- 23:42Speaker 3: But the point but the point is that there are
- 23:44Speaker 3: there are ways we can fight back, you know, and yes,
- 23:50Speaker 3: yes there are. If you have the ability, maybe you
- 23:52Speaker 3: just leave the fucking country.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Good for you, man.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I got cursed out on threads for saying that to
- 23:58Speaker 1: love a country that.
- 23:59Speaker 3: That has been a long stay anything, because niggas has
- 24:01Speaker 3: been talk about leaving country since Bush and before.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I got somebody and it's apparently a big account.
- 24:09Speaker 1: What was it, the Indigenous art anarchist. I think it
- 24:12Speaker 1: was okay, And they're they're like, you know, some one
- 24:14Speaker 1: hundred and seventy five thousand, I don't know how many,
- 24:16Speaker 1: you know, a bunch of followers.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And it's because you're posting a lot of engagement and
- 24:20Speaker 3: it goes wide, it goes far.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I know, I get it because I definitely wastn't talking
- 24:23Speaker 1: to this motherfucker. And you know, maybe they thought I
- 24:28Speaker 1: was white, you know, because of my profile pick or whatever.
- 24:31Speaker 4: But oh, it's still homeboyfriend, that is it?
- 24:36Speaker 1: Like, that is my profile, Rico swap. It is Rico
- 24:41Speaker 1: until we free again, you know what I mean? It's
- 24:44Speaker 1: Rico today up out of here, at least, at the
- 24:47Speaker 1: very least, it is Rico to they up out here.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I'll say that backwards, Yeah, Rico to his backwards boy.
- 24:54Speaker 2: If white men getting whipped from day one, that's straight
- 24:57Speaker 2: up that is my profile. So Boddy asked me that
- 25:00Speaker 2: home coming and they're like, what's that about. I was like,
- 25:02Speaker 2: what's the white man getting with less by a black man?
- 25:07Speaker 2: At that? By darks and black man say less?
- 25:10Speaker 1: But yeah, anyway, the indigenous and arcis had something to
- 25:12Speaker 1: say when I was talking about, you know, leaving the country,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and they were.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Like, well, waves and Indigenous and once again, let me
- 25:18Speaker 2: just make this pres.
- 25:19Speaker 1: What I'm so tired of, like the appropriation, like y'all
- 25:26Speaker 1: can do nothing without us, and that goes for everyone.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Sorry indigenous person who had made that, because waves in
- 25:33Speaker 1: anything is a.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Black saying you know what I'm waves.
- 25:37Speaker 1: No, they said waves and Indigenous goodbye, like that's what
- 25:40Speaker 1: they did, and and I was like, oh cause they
- 25:45Speaker 1: were like, well, if you're not ready to fight, then
- 25:47Speaker 1: you know, goodbye, we don't win you here.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I said, I don't know who the fuck you are.
- 25:51Speaker 1: You know, I said something about like you know, someone
- 25:56Speaker 1: from the back, you know, like it wasn't it was
- 25:59Speaker 1: not a kind response, right, you know, because I ain't
- 26:02Speaker 1: that one, you know what I mean, like I've already
- 26:04Speaker 1: why did they.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Bring I mean, I get the allegory. Why did they
- 26:07Speaker 3: have to bring indigenous into it oka?
- 26:09Speaker 2: They are indigenous, I understand that.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I'm just saying, why did they have to do that?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Because they had to wave in indigenous so they had
- 26:14Speaker 2: to be some.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Cute little yeah you know, yeah, like you have to
- 26:20Speaker 1: do that. And someone else responded to me like, oh
- 26:22Speaker 1: this account has you know, that's how they get down
- 26:24Speaker 1: and you know, it's like, yeah, that's why they unfollowed
- 26:27Speaker 1: them already because they have a lot of slits in the.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Same m you know.
- 26:31Speaker 1: And it's like, I ain't man, like you said. My accounts,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I mean, my post did a lot of and you know, trashing.
- 26:38Speaker 2: And I'll get a lot of those like you know,
- 26:40Speaker 2: big blue check accounts responding to me sometimes and I've
- 26:43Speaker 2: cursed a few of them out.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I ain't gonna lie like some of them required it
- 26:47Speaker 4: because because.
- 26:48Speaker 2: It's like, you know, they're the type who will start
- 26:50Speaker 2: sicking their followers on you and stuff like it'll be
- 26:52Speaker 2: black people, you know, and people I'm not gonna name names,
- 26:55Speaker 2: but recently somebody came to me over our posts and
- 26:57Speaker 2: I was like, first of all, you read that completely wrong,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you know, and they did, and they were like, oh
- 27:01Speaker 2: I did.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I'm like, well, no, you shouldn't have jumped down my
- 27:03Speaker 1: throat with that bullshit you started with, you know, and
- 27:06Speaker 1: like you said before, made the apology as loud as
- 27:08Speaker 1: the yep, and so I was like, oh, okay, I.
- 27:12Speaker 2: See who you are. Moving on anyway, That's what I'm saying.
- 27:14Speaker 1: That's and that's what I said about that indigenous anarchist
- 27:17Speaker 1: thing is why it makes me think that it might
- 27:20Speaker 1: be time to leave this country. Because one what I
- 27:23Speaker 1: was talking about what they responded to was I was
- 27:26Speaker 1: watching this video with this dude shout out to the
- 27:28Speaker 1: lead that they're a dope YouTube channel, and they weren't
- 27:31Speaker 1: even talking about, you know, the history of country, but
- 27:34Speaker 1: it just came up and they were like, four hundred
- 27:37Speaker 1: years of slavery, one hundred.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Years of indencered servitude, not slavery, not slavery, slavery, light,
- 27:47Speaker 2: new slavery, whatever you want to call it.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And then sixty one years since the Civil Rights Act,
- 27:53Speaker 1: so that five hundred years of pure legalized slavery and
- 27:57Speaker 1: then sixty one years of bullshit and now trying to
- 28:00Speaker 1: turn her back to slavery again immediately. I mean, throughout
- 28:04Speaker 1: those sixty one years, it ain't like they ever stopped because,
- 28:07Speaker 1: like we mentioned to talk about multiple times, the prison
- 28:10Speaker 1: industrial complex basically replaced sharecropping, et cetera into slavery.
- 28:16Speaker 3: They're trying to turn back to slavery for all. They're
- 28:18Speaker 3: trying to and that it's not just white people guys.
- 28:20Speaker 2: No, no slavery for.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Slavery for women, particularly slavely, for for for everyone that's
- 28:30Speaker 3: not white, Catholic, Protestant, whatever, whatever the baseline as they
- 28:35Speaker 3: say that their default of what they feel like an
- 28:37Speaker 3: American is slavery for every motherfucker.
- 28:40Speaker 2: And that's what they're calling for.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's when I was like, when I was
- 28:44Speaker 1: watching this video, and like I said, dude, wasn't even
- 28:46Speaker 1: talking about history of America. I think the video might have
- 28:48Speaker 1: been about Drake or or Kendrick or something. You know,
- 28:51Speaker 1: but it just turned in that and that real quick.
- 28:53Speaker 1: When I just saw the numbers, I'm like, hold up,
- 28:56Speaker 1: five inty years, straight up. Not every country on this
- 28:59Speaker 1: earth has had five hundred years of legalized slavery. So
- 29:04Speaker 1: I'm like, why am I fighting my life to live
- 29:06Speaker 1: in the one that has?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Because you have claimed to this land and I understand
- 29:14Speaker 3: I got claimed to the earth. Sure, sure, man, we
- 29:18Speaker 3: can talk about that all day, but I'm talking about
- 29:21Speaker 3: as it stands. You are a man from Houston, Texas,
- 29:26Speaker 3: h Town, going down third world all day, all that shit.
- 29:31Speaker 3: There is a there is a thought, there is a
- 29:36Speaker 3: there is an approach that a lot of people have.
- 29:38Speaker 3: It's like this, no matter what they say about black
- 29:41Speaker 3: people and try to deter and all this stuff, this.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Is our fucking land.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Two, right, Because we don't we don't discriminate, we don't,
- 29:48Speaker 3: we don't exclude others, right, We we enjoy everybody. So
- 29:51Speaker 3: we say two, we weren't originally here, We were forced here.
- 29:54Speaker 4: By the end of the day, were the ones who
- 29:55Speaker 4: built this fucking country.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Right, we are here too. This is our land to
- 30:00Speaker 3: my people's come here too. When I look back, when
- 30:02Speaker 3: I go back into history, my niggas is from down south.
- 30:06Speaker 3: And if I go further than that, then I can
- 30:08Speaker 3: start seeing some countries in Africa here and there on
- 30:11Speaker 3: on on on the Ivory Coast.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Sure, But at the end of the day, this is
- 30:14Speaker 4: my goddamn country.
- 30:16Speaker 3: And I know there is a thought, a thought from
- 30:19Speaker 3: a lot of people that like, no one's gonna fucking
- 30:20Speaker 3: run me off of my land in that way. And yes,
- 30:24Speaker 3: there might be that that obviously is a potential indigenous thought,
- 30:27Speaker 3: that's obviously thought from others who have potentially, you know,
- 30:30Speaker 3: immigrated here all this other stuff, And I get that.
- 30:33Speaker 3: I get that side of a feeling like I don't
- 30:35Speaker 3: care what the fuck goes on, You're not gonna run
- 30:37Speaker 3: me out of my ship where my ancestors built this ship,
- 30:40Speaker 3: where I fucking lived and died and and until the
- 30:44Speaker 3: soil and did this and did that and.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Raised my family all this.
- 30:47Speaker 3: So I get it the idea of like, who the
- 30:49Speaker 3: fuck are you to tell me where I'm gonna be?
- 30:52Speaker 3: I also get your point. It's like, why am I
- 30:54Speaker 3: fighting for this bullshit? It was five hundred, five hundred
- 30:58Speaker 3: years of this bullshit. Then I get a little taste
- 31:01Speaker 3: of something, cause it wasn't even true freedom because we
- 31:03Speaker 3: all wasn't we all not free?
- 31:04Speaker 4: We all was never free.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Let's let's be clear. LGBTQ, Indigenous, everybody else. We was
- 31:09Speaker 3: all never fully free. But we was in a space
- 31:10Speaker 3: of gaining some freedoms. And now they're trying to revert it.
- 31:14Speaker 3: All right, So I kind of say, you're like, well, shit,
- 31:15Speaker 3: if they want to do that, why am I fucking
- 31:18Speaker 3: bugging out staying here? May me go somewhere else. That's
- 31:20Speaker 3: not to say that racism is not gonna follow you
- 31:22Speaker 3: somewhere else. Then this may be countries where the systems
- 31:26Speaker 3: are working for the people a little bit better, yes, which, yes,
- 31:32Speaker 3: there are a few countries that are like that.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And then like, beyond the racism we have you know, uh,
- 31:37Speaker 2: techno feudal fascism going on now, that is like again,
- 31:43Speaker 2: that's has But you're not.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Gonna be able to run from no matter what country
- 31:46Speaker 4: here in I just hope you know that.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that part is pretty difficult to run from. The
- 31:51Speaker 1: Christian right. It's also getting difficult to run from.
- 31:56Speaker 3: But that's getting run from because and unfortunately a lot
- 31:59Speaker 3: of countries follow the US leave when it comes to
- 32:01Speaker 3: politis if we start leaning to the right all of
- 32:03Speaker 3: a sudden, all.
- 32:04Speaker 4: These right leaning right wing shit.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Look who just got elected the Prime Minister of Japan
- 32:10Speaker 3: right fully right, you understand, So like it's.
- 32:16Speaker 4: You continue, but you know that that does influence.
- 32:19Speaker 2: And I've talked about that before, like how my safe
- 32:23Speaker 2: So it used to be somewhere like Africa, like Ethiopia,
- 32:25Speaker 2: and Ethiopia has been come so americanized by everyone's use
- 32:30Speaker 2: of a phone that it's just where it's damn you
- 32:33Speaker 2: can't run away from it.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Now, are there are countries where there's better laws stuff
- 32:37Speaker 3: like like like yes, Europe and Europe, I say, when
- 32:40Speaker 3: it comes to like they are adamant about not feeding
- 32:44Speaker 3: as far as I can see, giving their people poison
- 32:46Speaker 3: in their food.
- 32:48Speaker 4: They're like, hell no, you can't even get rich crackers
- 32:51Speaker 4: out there? Could they be like this shit.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Is ass We're not this is this is carcinogenic and
- 32:56Speaker 3: all this other stuff they got They have regulations. It's
- 32:59Speaker 3: not the ann Old, but they got mad regulations well
- 33:02Speaker 3: and above the US on mad shit with you know,
- 33:05Speaker 3: Internet all this other stuff.
- 33:06Speaker 4: So, yes, there are areas that.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Have better social politics, better social programs.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Most of the countries have universal health care.
- 33:18Speaker 3: There are better ways, yes, but you're not gonna be
- 33:22Speaker 3: able to get away from everything.
- 33:24Speaker 1: No, it's not about getting away from everything. It's just
- 33:26Speaker 1: about making choices to be how much of this do
- 33:29Speaker 1: you want to deal with?
- 33:32Speaker 3: And if you and that's why I said earlier, like,
- 33:34Speaker 3: if you are blessed enough to be able to make
- 33:36Speaker 3: that decision and dip, then dip. And don't let nobody
- 33:39Speaker 3: And I'm talking to everybody, not just you. Don't let
- 33:41Speaker 3: nobody like shame you for having that, like.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Decided to do that.
- 33:46Speaker 3: The only time you should be shamed if you go
- 33:48Speaker 3: on talking to people, Oh you need to do this.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Don't tell other people that they need to do You
- 33:51Speaker 3: got a plan, you got the means, Go do your thing,
- 33:54Speaker 3: enjoy your life as long as you're doing that, Like,
- 33:57Speaker 3: don't let nobody swear you, make you feel difference, make
- 34:00Speaker 3: you feel funky about how about the ship you're doing
- 34:03Speaker 3: Because at the end of the day, this is your
- 34:04Speaker 3: life and you gotta deal with the consequences of your choices.
- 34:09Speaker 3: So that's why I don't I don't like if you
- 34:10Speaker 3: could do it and you could have that happen for you,
- 34:12Speaker 3: and that is what's going to keep you level mentally, physically, financially, socially,
- 34:20Speaker 3: Like do it.
- 34:22Speaker 4: I'll visit you if I'm able, if I don't get locked.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Up first, God of just waiting for the day, you know,
- 34:29Speaker 3: and and and you know again. I just also understand
- 34:31Speaker 3: that it's just there's this levels to it, right, and
- 34:34Speaker 3: there's levels to like at all this. There's people who
- 34:37Speaker 3: can't run, there's people who can't get out. These people
- 34:38Speaker 3: who won't get out or don't want to or whatever
- 34:40Speaker 3: the case may be. Right, there's people who cannot not.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Shot or not not go to work. And yes, but
- 34:48Speaker 4: there's something you could do.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Mh.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And like I say, I'm always very active in my community.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I'm always trying to do things in my community to
- 34:56Speaker 1: strengthen my community and things of that nature. I've definitely
- 35:00Speaker 1: been looking into food banks and how to help support
- 35:05Speaker 1: people with this whole snap thing that's going on.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you got people niggas who got money, Go buy
- 35:11Speaker 3: some and maybe not during the economic blackout, but go
- 35:13Speaker 3: buy some food beforehand and put that shit in the
- 35:16Speaker 3: fucking pantry. The food pantry both work, I know, Like
- 35:21Speaker 3: what is it DoorDash or whatever? Like they they claim
- 35:23Speaker 3: they given everybody money to get groceries. Not everybody, but
- 35:26Speaker 3: people who who have benefits who are supposed to get
- 35:30Speaker 3: snap betters who are not getting it. If they sign
- 35:33Speaker 3: up for it, I think they give them one hundred
- 35:35Speaker 3: or two fifty something like that.
- 35:36Speaker 2: So that's crazy.
- 35:38Speaker 3: So which and also it just furthers Again I said,
- 35:41Speaker 3: there's levels of this how you know, hunger and povy,
- 35:46Speaker 3: all this stuff could be wiped out to immediately, Yeah,
- 35:49Speaker 3: tonight because there are billions circulating in the system by
- 35:56Speaker 3: all these tech companies, by all these these billionaires, like
- 36:00Speaker 3: money isn't real and all the problems could be solved tonight.
- 36:05Speaker 1: The timeline, well, it's not the worst, you know, it's
- 36:08Speaker 1: like peace Maker show. There could be giant skull headed spiders.
- 36:15Speaker 4: So I'm saying, like, yo, if you if you want
- 36:17Speaker 4: to put the fiction in, it could be worse.
- 36:19Speaker 2: It could always be worse. You know, it could be worse.
- 36:22Speaker 3: You know, I know everyone is. Some people are in
- 36:25Speaker 3: worst right now, right they're in the worst. Mean you
- 36:28Speaker 3: are not necessarily in the worst. We feel the effects,
- 36:31Speaker 3: but we're not in the worst. We are are some
- 36:34Speaker 3: people are ready, We're in a house, a home, apartment whatever.
- 36:38Speaker 3: We got four walls, we got we got some food,
- 36:41Speaker 3: we got the internet. We're talking to each other right now.
- 36:43Speaker 3: We got we got liberties to a degree I mentioned
- 36:47Speaker 3: before where the city state we live in ice out there,
- 36:53Speaker 3: but they also getting beat the fuck up by New York.
- 36:55Speaker 3: You understand, like you and I and like I just
- 36:58Speaker 3: like it's like I want you to have the space
- 37:01Speaker 3: to be able. You and everybody listening like, I want
- 37:03Speaker 3: you to be able to have the space to like
- 37:05Speaker 3: be upset and you know, be depressed and all this
- 37:09Speaker 3: other stuff. And at the same time, you can't stay
- 37:14Speaker 3: in that.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Understand where you do have.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Blessings, right, I know everybody hates to hear that, Oh
- 37:22Speaker 3: I'm blessed, blah blah blah. No, nigga, you got blessings.
- 37:28Speaker 3: It's always like, all tell me how I'm blessed. Man,
- 37:30Speaker 3: I can't pay my bills.
- 37:32Speaker 1: That I've never I guess I've never really heard this,
- 37:37Speaker 1: but my new favorite saying is, man, I would cut
- 37:41Speaker 1: off my own hand if I could have your.
- 37:46Speaker 2: What said that, It's like, you know.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Boy, I'm trying to get like you, but on the
- 37:52Speaker 1: next level, it's the next level.
- 37:54Speaker 4: I never heard that I was not the.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Only one who had never.
- 37:59Speaker 4: Cut off my hand to take yours, like.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Like, if I get it, but if I could have
- 38:03Speaker 2: your hand, I would cut off my own. Because I'm
- 38:07Speaker 2: at this party.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I'm at the brunch on Sunday and my man Jump
- 38:10Speaker 1: I ain't seen him, you know, and we start doing that,
- 38:12Speaker 1: you know first, Oh bro, I'm just trying to get
- 38:14Speaker 1: like you, you know, man, I see you over there,
- 38:16Speaker 1: play boy. Then he comes with that one man I
- 38:18Speaker 1: would cut off, and I'm like, yo, what.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Some down south ship that's your people's.
- 38:22Speaker 1: No, it's just hurting, I asked the New Yorker. I
- 38:25Speaker 1: asked my man, who's a straight up New Yorker. He
- 38:27Speaker 1: said he heard it before.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I ain't never heard that is the funniest shit is.
- 38:31Speaker 1: He was like, Yo, I heard this like three four
- 38:33Speaker 1: times this weekend, and it was people saying it was
- 38:35Speaker 1: like a straight up face, you know, like not even blinking.
- 38:38Speaker 2: And I'm crying because I'm like, Yo, that is such
- 38:40Speaker 2: a wild say to somebody.
- 38:43Speaker 1: And He's like, yo, people just say it so nonchalantly,
- 38:46Speaker 1: and I'm like, yo, we got to work on our slang.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Black, Like, there's.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Other ways to deliver your expression, your arms and legs
- 38:54Speaker 3: and the pendages.
- 38:55Speaker 2: And man, I would cut off my own.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Hand, like I know there's a phrase that's similar to that,
- 39:03Speaker 3: but not the hand.
- 39:05Speaker 2: What's one similar to that?
- 39:07Speaker 3: It's like I would give you my first born and
- 39:10Speaker 3: some ship like that, like which is even not even
- 39:12Speaker 3: any that much better. But if I could, if I
- 39:16Speaker 3: could get that, I give you my first born type ship.
- 39:18Speaker 1: I've never heard that. I've never heard I would cut
- 39:21Speaker 1: off my own hand if I could have yours.
- 39:27Speaker 3: The sentiment is, though, it's just like I'm down bad
- 39:31Speaker 3: and what you think is bad, ain't that bad?
- 39:36Speaker 2: I'm fair? Nah, man, you can't. Yeah, I can't be
- 39:38Speaker 2: doing that out here.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, black people be gonna be okaya.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Stop saying that we ain't gonna be easy.
- 39:49Speaker 2: That's that one. Oh we're gonna make it black. We've
- 39:51Speaker 2: been through everything.
- 39:52Speaker 3: No, no, no, I said we're gonna be okay, but it's
- 39:54Speaker 3: not gonna be easy.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not to say like, oh, we some resilient superheroes.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Not.
- 40:00Speaker 3: It's again, before the bomb dropped, ship was going down.
- 40:06Speaker 3: When the bomb dropped, ship is going down, we persist
- 40:10Speaker 3: what that and that? Well, who said that who said
- 40:13Speaker 3: that was that, Uh, that wasn't no vision ship.
- 40:15Speaker 4: That's oh he said. I love persist, That's what he said,
- 40:17Speaker 4: something like that. We persist, we move on, we continue.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I'm also trying to make you and I'm also trying
- 40:25Speaker 3: to make y'all laugh because I know, like again this
- 40:27Speaker 3: this is a fucked up timeline.
- 40:29Speaker 4: We in.
- 40:32Speaker 3: And we there's gotta be some There's gotta be something
- 40:36Speaker 3: that makes you not want to fall down and cry
- 40:40Speaker 3: every day.
- 40:41Speaker 4: That's one of the reason why we do the show.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Like we know we're gonna be able to like we're
- 40:46Speaker 3: gonna give you some knowledge, We're gonna give you some information,
- 40:48Speaker 3: we're gonna give our opinion, this is and that, And
- 40:50Speaker 3: one of the things I love the most is trying
- 40:51Speaker 3: to make y'all laugh. Like my whole thing is, like
- 40:54Speaker 3: my my goal in every show is to make ben
- 40:56Speaker 3: on Me laugh.
- 40:58Speaker 4: Every time that I don't know if you know that,
- 41:00Speaker 4: but I know what you mean.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's same, same, That's always my goal too, to
- 41:05Speaker 1: make you laugh and and really to make myself really
- 41:09Speaker 1: crack up, because if I made myself very crack up,
- 41:11Speaker 1: it's something that I know that's.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Really gonna be good.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You know, like yeah, yeah, but definitely you as well
- 41:16Speaker 1: and the audience. And I'm always trying to make people
- 41:19Speaker 1: feel better about their situation. That's why I was like,
- 41:21Speaker 1: I don know about recording the day because I wasn't
- 41:24Speaker 1: feeling too good about my situation.
- 41:25Speaker 2: So how you feeling.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Maybe you feel the same, I don't know, but.
- 41:29Speaker 2: You feel that. I mean, I always feel better after
- 41:30Speaker 2: we do our show. You know that's always good.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You know, it's like this is always therapeutic for me,
- 41:34Speaker 1: and I know it's therapeutic for people listening. So text,
- 41:37Speaker 1: you know, shout out to once again the listener who
- 41:39Speaker 1: said I have cold hands.
- 41:45Speaker 2: They're really concerned, so you know, thank you for the concern,
- 41:48Speaker 2: and you.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Know you mentioned that just reminded me like something I
- 41:50Speaker 3: really want to bring back y'all is like y'all, you know,
- 41:53Speaker 3: we always we've been brought back, you know, Guaco s extra,
- 41:56Speaker 3: you know, y'all sending us your questions and things like that,
- 42:00Speaker 3: but like we really want to I want to really
- 42:02Speaker 3: get back to that, Like y'all was really reaching out
- 42:05Speaker 3: to us, like telling us how y'all felt. Like again,
- 42:07Speaker 3: it doesn't have to be fandom related, like y'all just
- 42:10Speaker 3: want to vent on some shit because it affects you
- 42:13Speaker 3: as a people, or it affects you as an American,
- 42:16Speaker 3: or it just affects.
- 42:17Speaker 4: You as a woman, or affects you as LGBTQ whatever.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Like y'all are our family, and we want to hear
- 42:23Speaker 3: from our family and see how we can talk to
- 42:24Speaker 3: you and help counsel and things like that. That's why
- 42:26Speaker 3: I'm like I've said it for contact at four oll
- 42:29Speaker 3: nerds dot com.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Is the email address.
- 42:32Speaker 3: You can also hit us up in the DMS on
- 42:34Speaker 3: the socials if you want to do it that way.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Whatever you want, we want to hear from you, Okay,
- 42:39Speaker 3: doesn't again, doesn't even have to be fandom related. Just
- 42:41Speaker 3: like we're here, we are helping each other, and it's
- 42:48Speaker 3: really important that we know where y'all standing things as well.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Mm you know how we could do better everything?
- 42:56Speaker 1: Yeah, anything at all, and that, like how Downa said,
- 42:58Speaker 1: it really means a lot because that's something that I
- 43:01Speaker 1: h this weekend at Howard homecoming and earlier this year
- 43:05Speaker 1: I talked about it some when I went to the
- 43:08Speaker 1: farm in Vermont, two of the biggest our best experiences
- 43:11Speaker 1: of the year for me. Involved just being seen by
- 43:14Speaker 1: people and just you know, people are really looking you
- 43:16Speaker 1: in the eyes and just talking to you. And even
- 43:19Speaker 1: though I know we're on the internet where you can't
- 43:21Speaker 1: do that as much, but when you send use those
- 43:24Speaker 1: emails and when you hit us on threads wherever, Instagram, Facebook, whatever,
- 43:29Speaker 1: and just tell us how you're feeling, you know, what's
- 43:31Speaker 1: going on with you in your life and all that,
- 43:33Speaker 1: it really means the world to us because it's that
- 43:36Speaker 1: personal connection. Like we're doing this show and we just
- 43:38Speaker 1: talking into the ether basically, and you know, we'll get
- 43:42Speaker 1: our comments and stuff and things of that nature. And honestly,
- 43:46Speaker 1: a lot more people comment more when they're angry than
- 43:49Speaker 1: when they're happy. Like again, going back to this person
- 43:52Speaker 1: who came up to me you know this week. They
- 43:55Speaker 1: were like, Yo, I've been listening to you forever, and
- 43:57Speaker 1: I'm like, I ain't never heard of you in my life.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I would have definitely remembered you.
- 44:06Speaker 2: You know, you're an HU grad like me, your alumni,
- 44:09Speaker 2: and if you'd ever said idiot is we would have
- 44:12Speaker 2: been you know, connecting, talk about nerd suit whatever. Yeah,
- 44:17Speaker 2: and you ain't say a word.
- 44:18Speaker 1: It's like I need y'all to reach out and say
- 44:20Speaker 1: a word sometimes, like for real, because the people who
- 44:24Speaker 1: do reach out a lot. So I mean and shout
- 44:26Speaker 1: out to y'all who were like the ones who show
- 44:28Speaker 1: up for every time I go online, you know, every
- 44:31Speaker 1: time we do. They can't murder damn twitch yeah twitch Yeah. Sorry,
- 44:37Speaker 1: that's how bad. That's how long it's been. And we'll
- 44:39Speaker 1: be back though. Me and Luna were doing the balls date,
- 44:41Speaker 1: you know, just been caught up with a bunch of
- 44:43Speaker 1: other stuff lately.
- 44:44Speaker 2: She's just hilarious by the way, critical failure. You're about
- 44:47Speaker 2: to get taken. Y'all can't help me. Oh well, we
- 44:54Speaker 2: will be back to it because I have had a
- 44:56Speaker 2: ball and I actually started playing Oh my god, I
- 44:58Speaker 2: started playing the Warhammer forty K. I told you how
- 45:01Speaker 2: much I love Wormer, and I finally played the like
- 45:04Speaker 2: the one that's basically the tabletop online. So I think
- 45:07Speaker 2: I'm gonna start streaming that because it's like slow and
- 45:10Speaker 2: methodical and I can talk while doing it, So I
- 45:12Speaker 2: think that's something I'll do. Yeah, so we'll get back
- 45:16Speaker 2: to that on twitch. So shout out to all y'all,
- 45:18Speaker 2: Like I was saying, shout out to the people who
- 45:20Speaker 2: are always there, always saying what up? But I need
- 45:22Speaker 2: them other people, you know what I mean, I need
- 45:25Speaker 2: don't say what up? They would up you know.
- 45:28Speaker 4: One time, say it one time. Let us know you
- 45:31Speaker 4: you alive, let us know.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Please, I know you got to get out of here
- 45:37Speaker 1: real quick, before you do or before we do.
- 45:40Speaker 2: It's been slow. I mean it's a slow time right now.
- 45:42Speaker 1: It's basically the time where all the studios are rolling
- 45:44Speaker 1: out all their big Oscar movies and award season movies,
- 45:49Speaker 1: so those will be dropping. But right now it's been
- 45:51Speaker 1: like that in between time of in between summer and
- 45:54Speaker 1: fall where they're quiet, kind of quiet. I know you
- 45:58Speaker 1: saw something though.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw a Chainsaw Man resie arc. I don't
- 46:02Speaker 3: know if you watch or know what changed on Man.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I watched like most of the first season, but
- 46:08Speaker 1: you think, I mean, some of that shit was hilarious,
- 46:12Speaker 1: like when they were.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Trapped in that oh the Day apartment building.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that was like that.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Was hilarious and ill it just Chainsaw Man in general
- 46:22Speaker 1: is pretty hilarious and and you know, pretty dope and
- 46:25Speaker 1: dope animation and all that stuff.
- 46:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yes, saw it in the theater.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Uh animation still fire, like the way the fight season
- 46:34Speaker 3: and it's and at times it could be hard to
- 46:35Speaker 3: follow just in terms of what's going on the screen
- 46:37Speaker 3: because there's so much shit happened in screen, and they
- 46:40Speaker 3: also skew the it gives, uh, what's the what's the
- 46:44Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of the anime?
- 46:45Speaker 4: Oh, killer kill?
- 46:46Speaker 3: Sometimes it gives to kill a kill vibe, whereas like
- 46:48Speaker 3: the animation is skewed where it looks it starts degrading
- 46:50Speaker 3: almost like instead of like and it's on purpose, right,
- 46:54Speaker 3: so instead of like like fully fleshed out, like you
- 46:56Speaker 3: see what a character is drawing, like you know a
- 46:58Speaker 3: man is drawn, then it's like the arms start contorting
- 47:01Speaker 3: and then the body starts lengthening in and and and
- 47:04Speaker 3: and they're trying to give the expression that you know,
- 47:07Speaker 3: this is some chaotic shit happening. So if it's chaotic
- 47:10Speaker 3: shit happening, you ain't gonna be able to see what
- 47:11Speaker 3: looked like on screen, right, It's gonna look chaotic.
- 47:13Speaker 4: And that's cool. I had a problem with.
- 47:18Speaker 3: It just as a whether or not it really truly
- 47:21Speaker 3: progresses the story, like it felt more like filler, like, oh, well,
- 47:27Speaker 3: here's the boss that they happen to fight and then
- 47:29Speaker 3: like nothing necessarily changes for the greater story. Me and
- 47:32Speaker 3: my husband actually had a uh it was it was
- 47:34Speaker 3: a good argument, but a big argument about this where
- 47:36Speaker 3: it's just like I felt like this didn't really progress.
- 47:39Speaker 3: The story gave you a lot of characters characterizations, but
- 47:42Speaker 3: didn't necessarily like if you're going from the anime to
- 47:45Speaker 3: watching the movie and then going back to the anime,
- 47:47Speaker 3: it's just like the kind of where they started in
- 47:49Speaker 3: my head, and it was a different vibe that I
- 47:52Speaker 3: got than when I saw Demons Slayer movie.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Demon Slayer move was in fucking incredible, like ain't that's
- 48:01Speaker 4: number one?
- 48:01Speaker 3: As far as like this year's anime movie, Like that's
- 48:04Speaker 3: number fucking one, And and for me, it felt like
- 48:06Speaker 3: the story fucking progressed, like they they they ended, they
- 48:10Speaker 3: they ended the anime or the end of the season
- 48:12Speaker 3: in one situation, and then the movie picks up where
- 48:15Speaker 3: that was and goes forward and again you know you,
- 48:19Speaker 3: let's let's argue in the comments, appreciate you.
- 48:22Speaker 4: So that was my only real concern or complaint.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I don't know about chainsaw Man, but at the end
- 48:26Speaker 3: of the day, like it was so cool, it was
- 48:28Speaker 3: some funny, fucking shit happening throughout it.
- 48:30Speaker 4: It was still hilarious. The beginning was much.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Slower though, so if you were expecting, like a lot
- 48:38Speaker 3: some jump, you're not getting that. Like it's slow in
- 48:40Speaker 3: the beginning, and then it picks up when the actual
- 48:42Speaker 3: big fight happens.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, all right. Well I did not have a
- 48:48Speaker 2: chance to see that joint. What I did peep and
- 48:52Speaker 2: not through any preview. I just keeeped it because it
- 48:54Speaker 2: came on HBO Max was it. Welcome to Darry the
- 48:58Speaker 2: new series that is a prequel to the two IT films.
- 49:02Speaker 1: It takes place in the same timeline as the two
- 49:05Speaker 1: IT films that were released.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I think the last one came out last.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Year, right, and it's the first the first episode at least,
- 49:12Speaker 1: is directed by the same director of the two films.
- 49:16Speaker 2: I've only seen the first of the new IT movies.
- 49:19Speaker 2: I didn't keep the second one.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I honestly found that joint absolutely hilarious.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Like that movie was fucking funny.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, it wasn't just me, because.
- 49:29Speaker 4: No, it was funny as fuck.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I've told you, I think I've told you my personal
- 49:33Speaker 1: IT story, Like yes, and how I don't mess with
- 49:36Speaker 1: you know, the whole franchise. Yeah, yeah, because I had
- 49:39Speaker 1: a very real life you know, all right, we're not
- 49:42Speaker 1: gonna talk about.
- 49:43Speaker 2: It that right now.
- 49:44Speaker 4: We don't need traumatized. But no, the movie was hilavery.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Us And even so because I'm like back in the day,
- 49:54Speaker 1: I didn't watch the one that came on TV because
- 49:56Speaker 1: I was, you know, I had this real life terrified shit.
- 49:58Speaker 2: But I watched that recent.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Like I think, on a plane, and it's even more
- 50:02Speaker 1: terrifying than the more recent one, and it's like, you know,
- 50:05Speaker 1: super old school and everything.
- 50:07Speaker 2: The reason one was just hilarious, and I just.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Don't I don't know, maybe the second ones don't be
- 50:12Speaker 1: Did you peep the second one? Okay, so because I'm like,
- 50:15Speaker 1: maybe that'll do it anyway, it Welcome to Dairy is
- 50:18Speaker 1: continuing the find tradition of being fucking hilarious and not
- 50:22Speaker 1: terrifying in any way, shape or form. It was actually grotesque,
- 50:27Speaker 1: I'll give it that. There's definitely some grotest body horror.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I didn't really like that either. I
- 50:32Speaker 2: don't like none of that.
- 50:34Speaker 1: It opens up with a really ill sequence where this
- 50:36Speaker 1: little boy gets trapped in his car with his family,
- 50:38Speaker 1: who is definitely off the rocker, and then the mom
- 50:42Speaker 1: gives birth to this demon baby. And I was hoping
- 50:46Speaker 1: for the clown it to come up out of the
- 50:49Speaker 1: mom because that would have been hilarious. But the demon
- 50:51Speaker 1: baby alone, Oh my god, y'all. You do not know
- 50:55Speaker 1: how many times, I mean, I had to pick myself
- 50:57Speaker 1: up on the floor. I'm just rolling like it's a
- 50:59Speaker 1: big asked baby. For one, it's like he's like this giant,
- 51:02Speaker 1: big you know, maybe yeah, about that big of a baby,
- 51:06Speaker 1: big oldhead. It got weans and two heads for some reason,
- 51:10Speaker 1: little wings, you know, like little little bat wings, you know.
- 51:13Speaker 1: And so it's like it flaps around the car and
- 51:15Speaker 1: slams into the window, at which point I'm rolling again,
- 51:18Speaker 1: and then comes over and eats the boy up.
- 51:20Speaker 2: I'm crying.
- 51:22Speaker 1: The rest of the episode is about these like it
- 51:25Speaker 1: felt like stranger things. I can't lie stranger things said
- 51:27Speaker 1: in nineteen whatever sixty one, And so a bunch of
- 51:31Speaker 1: the other kids are trying to find this boy and
- 51:34Speaker 1: what happened to him. And they don't even really like
- 51:35Speaker 1: him because he was, you know, not well liked and
- 51:37Speaker 1: all this stuff, but they feel guilt over that, so
- 51:40Speaker 1: they form up this crew to find him. The other
- 51:43Speaker 1: part of the story that seemingly wildly not connected is
- 51:46Speaker 1: this black Major comes to is an Air Force base
- 51:51Speaker 1: in Dairy and the Black Major is now newly assigned
- 51:55Speaker 1: to the Air Force base. His family hasn't gotten there yet.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I think we see all them in the trailer, but
- 52:00Speaker 1: in this first episode we just see the Major and
- 52:02Speaker 1: he's dealing with the typical things in nineteen sixty one,
- 52:05Speaker 1: you know, racism, him being the new guy, where certain
- 52:09Speaker 1: people love him and other people hate him. And of
- 52:11Speaker 1: course there's something weird going on at this base, but
- 52:14Speaker 1: that's wildly unconnected from this story so far, at least
- 52:18Speaker 1: of these little kids trying to find their friend. Which spoilerer,
- 52:22Speaker 1: I gotta say spoiler because this is it's something.
- 52:25Speaker 2: That y'all got to know going in. If you and
- 52:27Speaker 2: you know, if you want to watch the series.
- 52:29Speaker 4: You you'll float two all right.
- 52:32Speaker 2: I'm just spoiler right now, So spoiler alert. If you
- 52:34Speaker 2: don't what to floid, you turn it off right now.
- 52:38Speaker 2: At the end of the episode, the demon baby eats
- 52:39Speaker 2: all them kids.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Except for one girl and two girls, a black girl
- 52:44Speaker 1: who wasn't even involved with it other than you know,
- 52:47Speaker 1: she kind of gets their the end and a voyage
- 52:49Speaker 1: den eight and the one.
- 52:51Speaker 2: White girl everybody else that's eight. These three boys did eight.
- 52:55Speaker 2: I think the three of them two two.
- 52:57Speaker 1: By the Demon Baby and one of them little sister
- 53:01Speaker 1: just managed to tag along for this part of the
- 53:03Speaker 1: adventure to get eight up.
- 53:05Speaker 2: So that ship. I mean, look, before the.
- 53:09Speaker 4: Demon Baby still at large.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Demon Baby is still at large. Before they got eight,
- 53:14Speaker 2: I was completely uninterested in this show. By the end
- 53:17Speaker 2: of it. Them getting eight, maybe I'll tune in for a.
- 53:21Speaker 4: Second, and you know what they were counting on that.
- 53:29Speaker 3: You know, all this rest of the ship is asked,
- 53:31Speaker 3: let's just do some wowd ship to bring bring the
- 53:33Speaker 3: listeners and bring the viewers.
- 53:35Speaker 1: In because it's straight up. It's like, oh yeah, you're
- 53:37Speaker 1: y'all doing stranger things. Oh no, y'all are not doing straight.
- 53:42Speaker 4: You thought that's what they did.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Welcome to Darry is now out on HBO Max. The
- 53:49Speaker 1: second episode will drop on Halloween. You know, we did
- 53:52Speaker 1: not get previews for this, so this is just me
- 53:54Speaker 1: watching off the cuff on the spring.
- 53:57Speaker 2: You know.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll probably talk more about it because I'm good
- 54:00Speaker 1: thinking at least watched the second or.
- 54:01Speaker 4: I listened to.
- 54:02Speaker 3: What you're saying is I won't watch it, but I
- 54:03Speaker 3: will be listening. I won't be listening to your reviews.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Baby had meo. That thing is hilarious. It's so big,
- 54:10Speaker 2: it's like the big has a baby running around eating.
- 54:13Speaker 3: I'm not a hord person. I'm not a body horror person.
- 54:15Speaker 3: That's not my ministry.
- 54:15Speaker 2: So I'm just like I'm not either.
- 54:17Speaker 1: So far, the Body Heart was only that real quick,
- 54:20Speaker 1: you know it was, and it was it was definitely grotesque.
- 54:23Speaker 4: It's not banned. You see it once. It's not the end.
- 54:25Speaker 1: No, you're right, you're right. But after that, it was
- 54:27Speaker 1: just you know, gore, and it wasn't even much door.
- 54:29Speaker 1: It was just like it was more like like there
- 54:32Speaker 1: was one shot of a kid getting dragged away by
- 54:34Speaker 1: the baby, which was you know, rolling, folks.
- 54:36Speaker 2: I'm crying.
