5 00:00:14,920 --> 00:00:16,920 Welcome everybody! 6 00:00:16,920 --> 00:00:20,400 Welcome to this week's Disney Story of the Show. 7 00:00:20,400 --> 00:00:24,600 Episode 85 for July 2nd, 2026. 8 00:00:24,600 --> 00:00:27,960 This is your WWE night of champions, AEW for Ben and Door, 9 00:00:27,960 --> 00:00:36,040 and NXT Great American Dash, Recap and Review Edition of SRT View. 10 00:00:36,040 --> 00:00:37,280 I am one after the show. 11 00:00:37,280 --> 00:00:40,600 I am Jeff Beck, joined every single week, my co-host, 12 00:00:40,600 --> 00:00:43,520 the one only Dr. Tray Franklin, Dr. Tray. 13 00:00:43,520 --> 00:00:49,520 Sammy Zane is our WWE Champion, my friend. 14 00:00:49,520 --> 00:00:51,160 Is that something I know? 15 00:00:51,160 --> 00:00:56,640 So it's not something I thought would ever have. 16 00:00:56,640 --> 00:00:59,280 I'm going to ask you this because you brought it up, 17 00:00:59,280 --> 00:01:00,120 Mulder. 18 00:01:00,120 --> 00:01:05,840 Did you really think that this was a possibility or was this more of a hope? 19 00:01:05,840 --> 00:01:09,560 It's funny you say that because here we are organically open in the show. 20 00:01:09,560 --> 00:01:11,360 Obviously this is going to be a big topic of it. 21 00:01:11,360 --> 00:01:15,760 I've been the reason why we're talking about it now, obviously. 22 00:01:15,760 --> 00:01:20,040 At one time I thought it was going to happen, and then I would say pretty recently I'm like, 23 00:01:20,040 --> 00:01:24,080 I think he may be like this generation's Scott Hall. 24 00:01:24,080 --> 00:01:27,680 This generation's Roddy Piper and the WWE. 25 00:01:27,680 --> 00:01:35,880 They are amazing, memorable professional wrestlers that never won the WWE Championship. 26 00:01:35,880 --> 00:01:38,680 I don't think Scott Hall ever won a World Championship. 27 00:01:38,680 --> 00:01:41,360 Piper had a roma that upset up your title. 28 00:01:41,360 --> 00:01:44,240 And that's where I was getting with Sammy Zane, especially the way that you look at these 29 00:01:44,240 --> 00:01:51,720 windows nowadays with Cody, Roman, the echelon below that, the upcoming young stars, the 30 00:01:51,720 --> 00:01:57,640 Gunthers, the Braun Breaker, the O-Buzz of the World punk, Rollins. 31 00:01:57,640 --> 00:02:01,200 It just felt like Sammy Zane will never get a roma in the Championship. 32 00:02:01,200 --> 00:02:03,120 When would that window be? 33 00:02:03,120 --> 00:02:05,840 I made a case at the last year, at the Rumble this year. 34 00:02:05,840 --> 00:02:07,320 I was like, I think this is the time to do it. 35 00:02:07,320 --> 00:02:08,840 They didn't do it. 36 00:02:08,840 --> 00:02:13,760 And then it's like, are they going to do it at WrestleMania 43 when it's in Saudi Arabia? 37 00:02:13,760 --> 00:02:16,000 That felt to be the closest opportunities. 38 00:02:16,000 --> 00:02:17,840 And it's like, when would they do it? 39 00:02:17,840 --> 00:02:24,320 It feels like it's going to be Cody versus, who knows, Rollins, punk, rock, Roman versus 40 00:02:24,320 --> 00:02:28,160 Oba, Brock, Rollins, punk, whoever, right? 41 00:02:28,160 --> 00:02:31,320 Like that, it just never felt like he would get in there. 42 00:02:31,320 --> 00:02:32,840 So I was losing home, my friend. 43 00:02:32,840 --> 00:02:34,480 I got to admit. 44 00:02:34,480 --> 00:02:40,080 Yeah, I think I've compared him to Roddy Piper at times. 45 00:02:40,080 --> 00:02:46,840 Just tremendous wrestler, the ability to be a really strong baby face or a heel, great 46 00:02:46,840 --> 00:02:50,800 work or great soldier for the company. 47 00:02:50,800 --> 00:02:55,720 In a lot of ways, also, when people thought about Mr. Perfect, I always say Mr. Perfect 48 00:02:55,720 --> 00:03:01,120 never won a World Cup because I don't count the AWA title really as a World Championship. 49 00:03:01,120 --> 00:03:07,720 He was in that vein of those guys who are just so super talented, but maybe didn't have 50 00:03:07,720 --> 00:03:12,960 the right look or just didn't have, like you mentioned, the right timing to come along 51 00:03:12,960 --> 00:03:18,640 at a time that where the roster maybe has never been as loaded as it is now. 52 00:03:18,640 --> 00:03:23,520 Like, it could have easily fell into the Dolph Ziggler category of like, just, hey, he's 53 00:03:23,520 --> 00:03:24,520 great to have on the roster. 54 00:03:24,520 --> 00:03:27,600 He does anything we ask him makes everybody look great. 55 00:03:27,600 --> 00:03:32,720 You know, but even Dolph got a short run with the title, but I was almost at the point where 56 00:03:32,720 --> 00:03:37,680 like, I was with him like, oh, Sammy's in this match to take the pinfall so that way Cody 57 00:03:37,680 --> 00:03:38,920 and Gump are looks strong. 58 00:03:38,920 --> 00:03:46,040 So the fact that we're sitting here a few days later and you and I can honestly say that 59 00:03:46,040 --> 00:03:53,000 are two of our all-time favorites from the SRTU timeline. 60 00:03:53,000 --> 00:03:56,360 Sammy Zayn and Kevin Owens have both been WWE World Champions. 61 00:03:56,360 --> 00:03:57,360 Yeah, it's wild. 62 00:03:57,360 --> 00:04:02,240 And especially going back to when this first started this podcast back in 2010. 63 00:04:02,240 --> 00:04:06,000 I was raving about generic over sustained feud in Ring of Honor. 64 00:04:06,000 --> 00:04:07,320 I mean, I talk about that a lot. 65 00:04:07,320 --> 00:04:10,600 And we are 16 years later and both these guys are in WWE. 66 00:04:10,600 --> 00:04:15,320 They both had runs as a world champion in WWE and they've made a man and WrestleMania 67 00:04:15,320 --> 00:04:19,900 together as a tag team winning that tag team championship and also faced off against one 68 00:04:19,900 --> 00:04:21,800 another at a WrestleMania. 69 00:04:21,800 --> 00:04:23,160 I always look at them. 70 00:04:23,160 --> 00:04:30,200 Those two guys as like the anchors of the history of this podcast where we started like 71 00:04:30,200 --> 00:04:33,120 hyping them up and like these two people should be watching out for. 72 00:04:33,120 --> 00:04:38,640 So and now here we are 16, 17 years later and it's like these two guys have been on top 73 00:04:38,640 --> 00:04:42,800 of the world back and forth and are some of the most recognizable stars in professional 74 00:04:42,800 --> 00:04:43,800 wrestling. 75 00:04:43,800 --> 00:04:44,800 It's just you're proud. 76 00:04:44,800 --> 00:04:46,440 You're very, very proud of them. 77 00:04:46,440 --> 00:04:48,040 You don't know them. 78 00:04:48,040 --> 00:04:49,440 You feel like you've known them. 79 00:04:49,440 --> 00:04:57,640 There have been very small interactions I've had with some of them, relatives of theirs. 80 00:04:57,640 --> 00:05:00,680 And like they're just people that you're proud of. 81 00:05:00,680 --> 00:05:03,280 They're just, they seem like genuine good people. 82 00:05:03,280 --> 00:05:09,480 They seem like people that we can relate to and I'm extremely happy and thrilled for Sammy 83 00:05:09,480 --> 00:05:12,840 Zayn that he has had this opportunity. 84 00:05:12,840 --> 00:05:17,880 We'll certainly chew on this a lot in this episode for sure, but I just want to quickly 85 00:05:17,880 --> 00:05:21,560 deviate from this Dr. Trey because I feel like if I asked you. 86 00:05:21,560 --> 00:05:26,520 So on last week's podcast, by the way, welcome back Dr. Trey who missed out last week doing 87 00:05:26,520 --> 00:05:28,200 some work training. 88 00:05:28,200 --> 00:05:34,240 I broke down the match and I was like, I really want to pick Sammy, but I just don't see 89 00:05:34,240 --> 00:05:39,520 it happening going in a summer slam and some of the anchors where you feel the same way with 90 00:05:39,520 --> 00:05:41,920 the Roman Reigns and Cody when they hold the titles. 91 00:05:41,920 --> 00:05:44,280 It's like, I just can't see it happening. 92 00:05:44,280 --> 00:05:45,280 Then it doesn't. 93 00:05:45,280 --> 00:05:47,400 It's a great little turnaround. 94 00:05:47,400 --> 00:05:53,120 But with that said, if you ask me go into the weekend, who is the best wrestler on the 95 00:05:53,120 --> 00:05:56,280 WWE roster that has never won a world championship? 96 00:05:56,280 --> 00:05:57,280 It's Sammy Zayn. 97 00:05:57,280 --> 00:05:59,280 No doubt about it. 98 00:05:59,280 --> 00:06:03,040 But now that he's done it, who is it, Dr. Trey? 99 00:06:03,040 --> 00:06:07,280 Who comes to mind? 100 00:06:07,280 --> 00:06:10,720 That's a really, I hadn't looked at that angle. 101 00:06:10,720 --> 00:06:18,320 So let me just try to run through the roster in my head of who's never been on top. 102 00:06:18,320 --> 00:06:26,680 Gunther J, Drew Brock, Cody Pong, Sammy Kevin. 103 00:06:26,680 --> 00:06:29,440 Has been a world champion. 104 00:06:29,440 --> 00:06:32,960 Before a day, yeah, but yeah, Damien Priest has. 105 00:06:32,960 --> 00:06:34,960 Is it Dom Mysterio? 106 00:06:34,960 --> 00:06:40,520 Well, I would say Jimmy Hussle, Jacob. 107 00:06:40,520 --> 00:06:44,720 Total presentation of a wrestler, maybe Shinsuke? 108 00:06:44,720 --> 00:06:45,720 Yeah, yeah. 109 00:06:45,720 --> 00:06:49,360 I mean, he's a loved, beloved figure. 110 00:06:49,360 --> 00:06:55,480 And he's had longevity WWE, he's had longevity before and he's semi-main evented a 111 00:06:55,480 --> 00:06:59,480 WrestleMania, him and AJ when he turned eal. 112 00:06:59,480 --> 00:07:02,000 So he's a Royal Rumble winner. 113 00:07:02,000 --> 00:07:04,440 I mean, you can't name any of the young guys. 114 00:07:04,440 --> 00:07:09,320 You can't be like Oba or Braun, like that's not fair. 115 00:07:09,320 --> 00:07:10,320 And Dom is still young. 116 00:07:10,320 --> 00:07:13,760 I mean, JD, JD McDonough's young. 117 00:07:13,760 --> 00:07:18,920 It just, to me, I guess if you're going to like, total scope of professional wrestler, 118 00:07:18,920 --> 00:07:27,040 look, appearance, ability, you know, Shinsuke's knocks, always been his promo work. 119 00:07:27,040 --> 00:07:32,240 But I was to that, like, that's on the current roster, I would say Shinsuke probably. 120 00:07:32,240 --> 00:07:33,240 Yeah. 121 00:07:33,240 --> 00:07:34,240 That's probably right. 122 00:07:34,240 --> 00:07:39,360 I can't think of anybody else that has the longevity and then the resume. 123 00:07:39,360 --> 00:07:44,320 I mean, Interconnel Champion, US Champion, IWGP, Interconnel Champion. 124 00:07:44,320 --> 00:07:50,000 I mean, he's got the resume to back it up to have never been on top of the mountain. 125 00:07:50,000 --> 00:07:56,280 Yeah, I'm trying to think of anybody else who has longevity. 126 00:07:56,280 --> 00:08:02,000 Almost everybody who's had longevity's at least had a taste of the mount top. 127 00:08:02,000 --> 00:08:07,840 Like, I guess right below him would be where you put Jimmy Uso because outside of eat, 128 00:08:07,840 --> 00:08:13,720 I can't distinguish Jay from Jimmy as far as in ring ability and lose it. 129 00:08:13,720 --> 00:08:16,440 Like, they're twins. 130 00:08:16,440 --> 00:08:17,440 Yeah. 131 00:08:17,440 --> 00:08:22,520 So, I guess I'd almost go to Shinsuke and then Jay and Jay, I mean, he's going to be Jimmy. 132 00:08:22,520 --> 00:08:25,120 And Jimmy's the only one of the OG bloodline. 133 00:08:25,120 --> 00:08:28,240 They're the first four to not be a real chip. 134 00:08:28,240 --> 00:08:32,640 I guess maybe you start putting Solo and LA Knight in that terror and in your house. 135 00:08:32,640 --> 00:08:34,640 LA Knight's definitely in that group. 136 00:08:34,640 --> 00:08:35,640 Yep. 137 00:08:35,640 --> 00:08:36,640 Yep. 138 00:08:36,640 --> 00:08:37,640 Definitely, LA Knight. 139 00:08:37,640 --> 00:08:38,640 Solo's getting up in that ring. 140 00:08:38,640 --> 00:08:45,640 I think I mean, Solo's beaten John Cena at SummerSlam, you know, I don't think you put Austin 141 00:08:45,640 --> 00:08:48,000 theory up in that level yet. 142 00:08:48,000 --> 00:08:52,680 Logan Paul still early in his career, you know, Bronson Reed, Bronbaraker, the ones you mentioned 143 00:08:52,680 --> 00:08:53,680 earlier. 144 00:08:53,680 --> 00:09:01,720 So, like, it probably be to me, Shinsuke, LA Knight and then Jimmy Uso. 145 00:09:01,720 --> 00:09:03,360 Yeah, it's wild. 146 00:09:03,360 --> 00:09:07,000 Like Sammy would be the guy like no one could touch him. 147 00:09:07,000 --> 00:09:08,000 It was almost a Travis. 148 00:09:08,000 --> 00:09:12,280 It was a Travesty that Sammy Tane never was WWE Champion. 149 00:09:12,280 --> 00:09:18,880 Like just a phenomenal in-ring worker that whether he was a healer or a baby face had a connection 150 00:09:18,880 --> 00:09:23,640 with the audience that not many people will ever have in their entire careers. 151 00:09:23,640 --> 00:09:30,680 And that he's working this tweener more on the healish side character as of late. 152 00:09:30,680 --> 00:09:31,680 And I grant it. 153 00:09:31,680 --> 00:09:32,680 It's Saudi Arabia. 154 00:09:32,680 --> 00:09:39,400 I mean, people were very excited because of his, you know, ethnicity and background regarding 155 00:09:39,400 --> 00:09:43,760 that country and being Muslim that, you know, that was a reaction that he got. 156 00:09:43,760 --> 00:09:52,040 But I think across the world, like despite the healish, like I don't smack that was taped 157 00:09:52,040 --> 00:09:53,920 after Raw on Monday. 158 00:09:53,920 --> 00:09:55,720 I'm excited to see Friday night. 159 00:09:55,720 --> 00:10:01,360 If I was in attendance, I would be giving Sammy Zayn a standing ovation until he, you know, 160 00:10:01,360 --> 00:10:04,280 that something healish that was, you know, maybe sit back down. 161 00:10:04,280 --> 00:10:06,480 I think wrestling fans were joist. 162 00:10:06,480 --> 00:10:09,000 But wrestlers were joist. 163 00:10:09,000 --> 00:10:12,600 There's this great video that dropped hours before you and I are recording this, Dr. Trey. 164 00:10:12,600 --> 00:10:14,320 I don't even think you've seen it yet. 165 00:10:14,320 --> 00:10:18,600 It would be my guess because you were working up until we were actually recording here. 166 00:10:18,600 --> 00:10:20,880 But Becky Lynch surprised Sammy Zayn. 167 00:10:20,880 --> 00:10:25,960 I guess it Atlantic City for the Raw Kings back down taping with Kevin Owens. 168 00:10:25,960 --> 00:10:32,640 But in Sammy Zayn said something that he was like, I knew I was, it was something along the 169 00:10:32,640 --> 00:10:36,440 lines like I knew I was liked, but I wasn't, I didn't know I was loved. 170 00:10:36,440 --> 00:10:38,120 And he's like, I'm really loved. 171 00:10:38,120 --> 00:10:42,840 And it's just like in this legitimate, like who he is as a person, Sammy Zayn character, 172 00:10:42,840 --> 00:10:46,320 like the stories that you hear about Sammy Zayn behind the scenes. 173 00:10:46,320 --> 00:10:49,200 Like it was just so fitting and appropriate. 174 00:10:49,200 --> 00:10:50,960 Like he is, he's a beloved guy. 175 00:10:50,960 --> 00:10:55,320 He's a jet, what you see on the screen is what I assume you see behind the scenes and 176 00:10:55,320 --> 00:10:57,560 I could not be more thrilled for him. 177 00:10:57,560 --> 00:11:02,600 So yeah, I mean, it just, it's amazing, Dr. Trey. 178 00:11:02,600 --> 00:11:08,000 I never thought we'd see the day, but here we are with Sammy Zayn as our WWE Champion. 179 00:11:08,000 --> 00:11:14,880 Yeah, like I said, I mean, it's amazing the world we live in now and how wrestling's changed 180 00:11:14,880 --> 00:11:16,320 so much at doing our kids. 181 00:11:16,320 --> 00:11:20,360 40 years ago, Sammy Zayn is never a World Champion, not even the government. 182 00:11:20,360 --> 00:11:21,880 He wasn't big enough. 183 00:11:21,880 --> 00:11:27,040 The Vince, the Vince Edge, I want my champions to look like they can beat up everybody, not 184 00:11:27,040 --> 00:11:29,360 that everybody can beat them up. 185 00:11:29,360 --> 00:11:33,480 You know, see him, you know, the CM probably like, you know, I look, I'm actually not wearing 186 00:11:33,480 --> 00:11:36,160 pants tonight, you know, like that stuff. 187 00:11:36,160 --> 00:11:38,640 Like Sammy wouldn't have never been in the conversation. 188 00:11:38,640 --> 00:11:45,040 He just never fit the mold, the look, the style, but you know, the way wrestling has gone, 189 00:11:45,040 --> 00:11:47,080 you know, we do like our underdogs. 190 00:11:47,080 --> 00:11:48,400 We do like our every man. 191 00:11:48,400 --> 00:11:54,040 We do like those guys that we can relate to, you know, and the crazy thing is in this new 192 00:11:54,040 --> 00:11:59,560 character of him being, you know, the last good guy actually kind of fits him winning the 193 00:11:59,560 --> 00:12:05,800 title because, you know, he is in a lot of ways outside of Rey Mysterio, just that ultimate 194 00:12:05,800 --> 00:12:06,800 underdog. 195 00:12:06,800 --> 00:12:13,960 He, Sammy Zayn, I don't think in any match we've seen him in, looks like the physically dominant 196 00:12:13,960 --> 00:12:16,160 person in any match. 197 00:12:16,160 --> 00:12:20,280 You know, he's just, he's not taller, he's not bigger to look like he does he roses belly, 198 00:12:20,280 --> 00:12:21,960 just a little bit too bigger, whatever. 199 00:12:21,960 --> 00:12:27,260 Like, he just never looks like the guy who's going to win the fight yet always kind of 200 00:12:27,260 --> 00:12:30,800 rises to the occasion, which is what we love in our baby faces. 201 00:12:30,800 --> 00:12:36,640 And it's just weird that it's happening in this current incarnation where we really have 202 00:12:36,640 --> 00:12:41,240 it even fleshed out the last good guy character yet. 203 00:12:41,240 --> 00:12:43,600 And now he's standing on top of the mountain. 204 00:12:43,600 --> 00:12:48,160 The final sequence of that triple threat match is one of the greatest sequences I've ever 205 00:12:48,160 --> 00:12:51,040 seen in a triple threat match in wrestling history. 206 00:12:51,040 --> 00:12:55,600 And that to me basically summarizes what Sammy Zayn does in a ring. 207 00:12:55,600 --> 00:13:02,080 The moveset, the methodology behind it, the psychology behind it, how well it flows once 208 00:13:02,080 --> 00:13:09,560 they're executing it, and then the outcome and the finish takes you on a ride as a wrestling 209 00:13:09,560 --> 00:13:14,280 fan that not many wrestlers can do and granted he wasn't doing it by himself, Cody, and 210 00:13:14,280 --> 00:13:16,160 Gunthru and that ring as well. 211 00:13:16,160 --> 00:13:18,920 But a lot of that is like Sammy Zayn to me. 212 00:13:18,920 --> 00:13:23,040 So, you know, to see him go from the Manhattan Center where I was watching him in Ring of 213 00:13:23,040 --> 00:13:29,880 Honor, wrestle either alongside or from one-on-one with Kevin Owens, Kevin Steen, to him holding up 214 00:13:29,880 --> 00:13:34,400 the WWE Championship in Rihard, Saudi Arabia this past. 215 00:13:34,400 --> 00:13:41,400 That afternoon is just a wild career and, you know, sure far hall of fame or one of the 216 00:13:41,400 --> 00:13:42,960 best of all time. 217 00:13:42,960 --> 00:13:47,760 And I'm just so happy that he's now has this to his name and resume and I hope he gets a decent 218 00:13:47,760 --> 00:13:48,760 run with this. 219 00:13:48,760 --> 00:13:49,760 I mean, that's the other thing. 220 00:13:49,760 --> 00:13:52,400 We could talk about for another day, but let's get into it here. 221 00:13:52,400 --> 00:13:55,160 We got a lot of ground to cover, so it's not going to be like our normal recap. 222 00:13:55,160 --> 00:13:58,040 We got a couple talking points at the end of one of each one of these shows that we'll 223 00:13:58,040 --> 00:13:59,040 cover here. 224 00:13:59,040 --> 00:14:03,040 So, just to quickly go through the results. 225 00:14:03,040 --> 00:14:06,960 So, Opa Femmey defeats Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring tournament earned a World Champ 226 00:14:06,960 --> 00:14:09,400 to Match at SummerSlam or so we thought. 227 00:14:09,400 --> 00:14:11,400 I had Opa Dr. Treha Jey. 228 00:14:11,400 --> 00:14:14,380 Eoskaide defeats Liv Morgan to win Queen of the Ring tournament earned the World Champ 229 00:14:14,380 --> 00:14:15,540 to Match at SummerSlam. 230 00:14:15,540 --> 00:14:18,680 She challenged Liv Morgan at SummerSlam following this match. 231 00:14:18,680 --> 00:14:20,680 We both at Eoskaide this one. 232 00:14:20,680 --> 00:14:22,880 Seth Rollins defeats Braun Breaker and Steel Cage match. 233 00:14:22,880 --> 00:14:24,080 A great Steel Cage match. 234 00:14:24,080 --> 00:14:26,240 I had Braun Breaker dot Tre had Seth Rollins. 235 00:14:26,240 --> 00:14:31,160 Trick Williams defeats Ricky Saints to retain the WWE United States Championship. 236 00:14:31,160 --> 00:14:32,800 We both had Trick Williams. 237 00:14:32,800 --> 00:14:37,120 Tiffany Stratton defeats Jey Cargill to retain the WWE Women's World, excuse me, Women's 238 00:14:37,120 --> 00:14:38,120 United States Championship. 239 00:14:38,120 --> 00:14:40,120 I had Tiffany Dr. Treha Jey. 240 00:14:40,120 --> 00:14:44,840 And then as we just have been discussing here, Sam Hsiehne defeats Cody Rhodes and Gunther 241 00:14:44,840 --> 00:14:49,480 to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in a triple threat match. 242 00:14:49,480 --> 00:14:51,640 We both had Cody Rhodes in this one. 243 00:14:51,640 --> 00:14:52,640 I went for and two. 244 00:14:52,640 --> 00:14:54,040 Dr. Trey went three and three. 245 00:14:54,040 --> 00:14:55,320 I went 25 and 12. 246 00:14:55,320 --> 00:14:59,000 Dr. Trey is now 24 and 13 on the year. 247 00:14:59,000 --> 00:15:01,680 Match of the night in event rating. 248 00:15:01,680 --> 00:15:06,280 I thought that this was a very good show, Dr. Trey. 249 00:15:06,280 --> 00:15:12,560 I gave the show a 4.2 and my match of the night was the triple threat match. 250 00:15:12,560 --> 00:15:15,960 It was Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Gunther. 251 00:15:15,960 --> 00:15:16,960 What's it you? 252 00:15:16,960 --> 00:15:22,120 What was your event rating and match of the night for night of champions? 253 00:15:22,120 --> 00:15:24,400 So I had the show at a 4.3. 254 00:15:24,400 --> 00:15:31,520 I gave probably the extra 0.1 because my son is semi-named after Sami Zayn. 255 00:15:31,520 --> 00:15:35,800 So it was a really amazing emotional night for that end. 256 00:15:35,800 --> 00:15:38,600 And the triple threat match was also my match of the night. 257 00:15:38,600 --> 00:15:39,600 Yeah. 258 00:15:39,600 --> 00:15:41,360 And it was a great match. 259 00:15:41,360 --> 00:15:42,600 Obviously we both picked it as our match. 260 00:15:42,600 --> 00:15:47,800 And I just want to say that that match had to be perfect because I thought Braun Breaker 261 00:15:47,800 --> 00:15:49,720 and Seth Rollins was phenomenal. 262 00:15:49,720 --> 00:15:52,240 And that sealed cage match, Dr. Trey. 263 00:15:52,240 --> 00:15:53,240 Yeah. 264 00:15:53,240 --> 00:15:58,320 That was a really, really like, wow. 265 00:15:58,320 --> 00:16:02,440 Steel cage matches in a sense are kind of like battle royals. 266 00:16:02,440 --> 00:16:03,640 They're almost like a diamond dozen. 267 00:16:03,640 --> 00:16:08,960 So you really got to pull out your A game to make a steel cage match memorable. 268 00:16:08,960 --> 00:16:11,560 And I thought Seth and Braun delivered on that level. 269 00:16:11,560 --> 00:16:15,600 And the fact that the triple threat match and I'm not going to lie. 270 00:16:15,600 --> 00:16:20,800 Maybe just on the individual match itself, the steel cage match we might have gotten 271 00:16:20,800 --> 00:16:26,640 the edge, but the emotion that I felt for seeing Sami Zayn win the title kind of pushed 272 00:16:26,640 --> 00:16:27,640 it over the edge for me. 273 00:16:27,640 --> 00:16:31,640 So that's why I think that match kind of edged out the steel cage match. 274 00:16:31,640 --> 00:16:35,560 Ernie Indicator here, I mean, we'll talk about it on our next week's show because we'll 275 00:16:35,560 --> 00:16:40,200 rent the halfway point of 2020 six now. 276 00:16:40,200 --> 00:16:43,200 If we didn't have three pay per views, we would have been covering it here on 4th July 277 00:16:43,200 --> 00:16:46,440 weekend's show, but we'll save it for next week. 278 00:16:46,440 --> 00:16:56,440 So to Sami Gunther and Cody Rhodes, sit right now in your mind for Match of the Year candidates. 279 00:16:56,440 --> 00:16:58,920 Top six, top five, it's up there. 280 00:16:58,920 --> 00:17:04,440 I still, and I know you're going to, you still don't know the triple A stuff. 281 00:17:04,440 --> 00:17:09,840 That that Grand Americano, Grand Americano match was just, it's hard to top that one for 282 00:17:09,840 --> 00:17:16,160 me because it had a little bit of everything in what, you know, we, we, you and I used to 283 00:17:16,160 --> 00:17:20,360 describe wrestling to our friends as it's soap opera with violence. 284 00:17:20,360 --> 00:17:23,840 That match was a soap opera with violence. 285 00:17:23,840 --> 00:17:29,640 This match, the only thing it was lacking really was, you know, Sami making out his wife 286 00:17:29,640 --> 00:17:31,640 or Cody making out his wife. 287 00:17:31,640 --> 00:17:33,600 That was because we saw that the triple A match. 288 00:17:33,600 --> 00:17:35,840 I mean, it was literally a love story in there too. 289 00:17:35,840 --> 00:17:38,560 So that was the only thing that was missing. 290 00:17:38,560 --> 00:17:44,880 But I would put this maybe a slight notch behind that one right now. 291 00:17:44,880 --> 00:17:50,920 But as you and I know, the longer stuff goes, sometimes our emotions get involved and it'll 292 00:17:50,920 --> 00:17:52,680 make us change our minds. 293 00:17:52,680 --> 00:17:59,360 I just have this match as a slight little bit behind the Americano match. 294 00:17:59,360 --> 00:18:00,960 So let's, let's get into it here. 295 00:18:00,960 --> 00:18:04,200 Some of the talking points we've talked at length here about Sami Zayn winning the WWE 296 00:18:04,200 --> 00:18:05,200 Championship. 297 00:18:05,200 --> 00:18:10,200 But just kind of keeping with that paste, Dr. Trey was Sami Zayn winning the WWE Championship, 298 00:18:10,200 --> 00:18:13,920 the right move or should WWE stayed with Cody Rhodes through Summer Slam. 299 00:18:13,920 --> 00:18:22,040 I'm going to say it was the right move because if you feel like you can move Cody off the 300 00:18:22,040 --> 00:18:28,920 world title and into something else and then whoever you put with Sami can still equal 301 00:18:28,920 --> 00:18:34,600 up the hype for a Summer Slam, I'm going to say it's the right move and kind of bank on 302 00:18:34,600 --> 00:18:40,400 that because once again, Sami on top, build you another main event star because now he's 303 00:18:40,400 --> 00:18:45,880 a former champion that you can always hype that up or current now, but down the line of 304 00:18:45,880 --> 00:18:51,480 former champion, it just made you basically another main event star. 305 00:18:51,480 --> 00:18:54,080 You know, that has the credibility to be a main event guy. 306 00:18:54,080 --> 00:18:55,400 So I'm going to say it's the right move. 307 00:18:55,400 --> 00:18:56,400 Yeah, I agree with you. 308 00:18:56,400 --> 00:18:57,560 I think it's the right move as well. 309 00:18:57,560 --> 00:19:01,960 I think WWE was getting to be too predictable. 310 00:19:01,960 --> 00:19:06,200 The Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, them as champion, just makes it feel like that the hold on 311 00:19:06,200 --> 00:19:10,200 the title until WrestleMania. 312 00:19:10,200 --> 00:19:13,400 So this was a really nice pleasant surprise and on last week's show, I compared that my thoughts 313 00:19:13,400 --> 00:19:19,200 were that if Sami was going to win, it would be similar to when they put the title on 314 00:19:19,200 --> 00:19:24,280 Drew, but it would be a lot shorter window like I could see a world and I could still see 315 00:19:24,280 --> 00:19:27,800 this playing out where like Sami Zayn loses to Cody Rhodes, etc. 316 00:19:27,800 --> 00:19:31,520 and I have to make an event in MSG so that Cody has the title at Summer Slam. 317 00:19:31,520 --> 00:19:32,960 I do not think they should do that. 318 00:19:32,960 --> 00:19:36,280 I think they need to keep the title off Cody for the rest of this year. 319 00:19:36,280 --> 00:19:39,760 At this point, I think you give Sami a run. 320 00:19:39,760 --> 00:19:45,720 Give him a run and let Cody either be around the title for a little bit or find something 321 00:19:45,720 --> 00:19:49,240 else for him, like the Brock Lesnar feud that he had several years ago. 322 00:19:49,240 --> 00:19:52,280 So I don't think there's anything wrong with that Dr. Dre. 323 00:19:52,280 --> 00:19:57,600 No, and I was thinking about this as we got closer to doing the show. 324 00:19:57,600 --> 00:20:01,200 You still have Randy Orton sitting on the sidelines. 325 00:20:01,200 --> 00:20:06,080 I mean, Randy Orton could come in and cost Sami Zayn, or cost Cody Rhodes the title, then 326 00:20:06,080 --> 00:20:08,800 you spend back to a Cody Randy feud. 327 00:20:08,800 --> 00:20:16,360 And then Sami can feud with Gunther or LA Knight or somebody else in the meantime until 328 00:20:16,360 --> 00:20:19,800 you decide to put the belt back on Cody to head into WrestleMania season. 329 00:20:19,800 --> 00:20:24,080 So you could do it that way or Cody's in the chase come WrestleMania season. 330 00:20:24,080 --> 00:20:31,120 But what it does is spreads out your roster where whoever Cody's fighting is a main event 331 00:20:31,120 --> 00:20:33,800 quality match because it's Cody Rhodes of all. 332 00:20:33,800 --> 00:20:38,040 Sami has the world title, so anything he does is a main event quality. 333 00:20:38,040 --> 00:20:42,600 So you basically have made two different main event lines and smack down by doing this 334 00:20:42,600 --> 00:20:44,600 one result. 335 00:20:44,600 --> 00:20:50,040 Shifting years to the men's King of the Ring was Obafemi forgoing his championship match 336 00:20:50,040 --> 00:20:54,480 at Summerslam for a Hell in a Cell match against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, frustrating 337 00:20:54,480 --> 00:20:58,520 or is it good, creative? 338 00:20:58,520 --> 00:21:03,200 It's frustrating because you're basically telling me that fighting Brock is more important 339 00:21:03,200 --> 00:21:05,600 to being a World Champion. 340 00:21:05,600 --> 00:21:09,480 And anybody who gets into wrestling, they all want to be a World Champion. 341 00:21:09,480 --> 00:21:15,280 I mean, we literally saw Sami Zayn chase this title for 20 years to get to this point. 342 00:21:15,280 --> 00:21:20,440 So especially when it's only the second, third year that they've done this where the winner 343 00:21:20,440 --> 00:21:27,320 gets to shot the world at Summerslam to dip out on it now, Lesnar is the importance of 344 00:21:27,320 --> 00:21:29,240 winning King of the Ring. 345 00:21:29,240 --> 00:21:36,880 So now it's like, well, you can win it, but to me, Oba not challenging for the title and 346 00:21:36,880 --> 00:21:43,600 you're bypassing a shot at Roman Reigns at Summerslam to fight Brock Lesnar. 347 00:21:43,600 --> 00:21:49,360 Yeah, like I guess on some levels it's kind of the same, but it's also Roman Reigns and 348 00:21:49,360 --> 00:21:52,600 the WWE World Championship. 349 00:21:52,600 --> 00:21:54,320 To me, that doesn't make sense. 350 00:21:54,320 --> 00:21:58,000 Yeah, him saying that the titles will always be there. 351 00:21:58,000 --> 00:22:00,600 And you can get it at any time, but this is not. 352 00:22:00,600 --> 00:22:01,920 It's lame. 353 00:22:01,920 --> 00:22:04,520 I didn't like it at all. 354 00:22:04,520 --> 00:22:05,520 Like why do it? 355 00:22:05,520 --> 00:22:09,600 And that point, him saying that titles will always be there. 356 00:22:09,600 --> 00:22:15,280 How Sami Zayn went over what, 11 World title shots before he finally got one? 357 00:22:15,280 --> 00:22:16,280 Yeah. 358 00:22:16,280 --> 00:22:20,640 How many World title shots did Mr. Perfect get in WS? 359 00:22:20,640 --> 00:22:23,640 You know, it's not always the case. 360 00:22:23,640 --> 00:22:29,080 God forbid, he could have a catastrophic knee injury in Hell and Celica's Brock Lesnar and 361 00:22:29,080 --> 00:22:31,200 basically never be World Champion. 362 00:22:31,200 --> 00:22:39,280 So it makes it sound dismissive and it also deligitimizes people chasing the championship 363 00:22:39,280 --> 00:22:42,160 for years and decades. 364 00:22:42,160 --> 00:22:48,840 So I hated that line because it made it sound like beating Brock Lesnar is more important 365 00:22:48,840 --> 00:22:50,080 than being World Champion. 366 00:22:50,080 --> 00:22:52,080 Yeah, I didn't like it either. 367 00:22:52,080 --> 00:22:54,040 I felt like there was an easier way to do that. 368 00:22:54,040 --> 00:22:55,920 But there we go. 369 00:22:55,920 --> 00:23:01,320 So he foregoes his championship match, did not challenge him, Sami not challenging the 370 00:23:01,320 --> 00:23:02,840 OTC. 371 00:23:02,840 --> 00:23:06,840 The OTC does have a match for Somersam, Dr. Trey Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins. 372 00:23:06,840 --> 00:23:08,880 It's officially set for Somersam. 373 00:23:08,880 --> 00:23:12,840 Is this the most pivotal match of Reigns' tribal chief era? 374 00:23:12,840 --> 00:23:15,680 And is it one that he needs to win? 375 00:23:15,680 --> 00:23:20,760 Because I thought Rollins had a great promo to close out Roll on Monday night to set this 376 00:23:20,760 --> 00:23:24,440 all up and lay this groundwork for this question. 377 00:23:24,440 --> 00:23:25,440 So what do you think? 378 00:23:25,440 --> 00:23:30,240 Is this the one that Roman Reigns needs to win during this tribal chief era? 379 00:23:30,240 --> 00:23:32,640 No, I don't think so. 380 00:23:32,640 --> 00:23:38,720 I mean, he had a three year run as the champ and then came back and wanted to get at WrestleMania. 381 00:23:38,720 --> 00:23:39,720 You know, in a sense. 382 00:23:39,720 --> 00:23:42,840 Like, I mean, his track record was set there. 383 00:23:42,840 --> 00:23:46,960 I think I look at the results. 384 00:23:46,960 --> 00:23:51,080 Seth was the only guy that he didn't cleanly beat. 385 00:23:51,080 --> 00:23:56,920 You know, he had a pinfall victory over when he was in that tribal chief run-up Smackdown. 386 00:23:56,920 --> 00:23:58,960 His leg is he's established. 387 00:23:58,960 --> 00:24:05,880 The only thing he needs is for is like, if you were going to say, hey, out of that group, 388 00:24:05,880 --> 00:24:08,360 who was the top guy? 389 00:24:08,360 --> 00:24:12,160 Maybe you can make an argument for Seth be the top guy if Roman can beat him here. 390 00:24:12,160 --> 00:24:18,040 But I don't think this damages his legacy or anything if Seth comes out on top. 391 00:24:18,040 --> 00:24:21,120 So I don't think he needs this win. 392 00:24:21,120 --> 00:24:24,480 I just think it's just another feather in the cap if he gets it. 393 00:24:24,480 --> 00:24:28,160 If there's one person though that has had the best of Roman Reigns throughout his entire 394 00:24:28,160 --> 00:24:29,840 career, it's Seth Ron's talk to try. 395 00:24:29,840 --> 00:24:34,400 I mean, he helped end the reign at WrestleMania, right? 396 00:24:34,400 --> 00:24:36,280 He sacrificed himself. 397 00:24:36,280 --> 00:24:39,800 You know, he has played mind games with Reigns forever. 398 00:24:39,800 --> 00:24:44,720 You know, he defeated him at WrestleMania again, reciting that triple threat match with CM Punk. 399 00:24:44,720 --> 00:24:48,400 So I do think that there's something to it that this is like the one bugaboo turn in this 400 00:24:48,400 --> 00:24:50,280 tribal chief error for Roman Reigns. 401 00:24:50,280 --> 00:24:56,480 Yeah, I mean, he's the, Seth is the macho man to Roman's Hogan or Seth is the Piper to 402 00:24:56,480 --> 00:24:58,280 Roman's Hogan. 403 00:24:58,280 --> 00:25:01,920 Roman's Hogan, yeah, that's what I said, right? 404 00:25:01,920 --> 00:25:06,040 The every, every top guy has had that thorn in their side. 405 00:25:06,040 --> 00:25:12,760 You know, for Flair, it was dusty, you know, you could make the argument that, you know, 406 00:25:12,760 --> 00:25:15,200 for staying, it was loo-ger and vice versa. 407 00:25:15,200 --> 00:25:20,560 Like, there's always that guy that's always that thorn in your side that you can never just 408 00:25:20,560 --> 00:25:24,240 cleanly always, you know, be decisive wins over. 409 00:25:24,240 --> 00:25:29,400 But these guys are such top guys that I don't think if you're like, oh, well, Roman only 410 00:25:29,400 --> 00:25:33,080 went seven and five against Seth. 411 00:25:33,080 --> 00:25:35,040 We got to bust him down a peg. 412 00:25:35,040 --> 00:25:40,000 To me, I'm like, yeah, but Seth's first ball of Hall of Famer, you know, I saw Seth, you 413 00:25:40,000 --> 00:25:44,640 know, and that promise that Roman should get his own night when he goes in the Hall of Famer, 414 00:25:44,640 --> 00:25:47,040 you could make the same argument for Seth. 415 00:25:47,040 --> 00:25:53,200 You know, so it's, I don't think it's as pressing, but it's a good way to play up the angle. 416 00:25:53,200 --> 00:25:58,680 And for the character of Seth Rollins, to not use that to play mind games with the character 417 00:25:58,680 --> 00:26:01,600 of Roman Reigns, but would make sense. 418 00:26:01,600 --> 00:26:04,160 So it fits the storyline and fits the narrative. 419 00:26:04,160 --> 00:26:09,320 It also fits the fact that both guys are technically quasi baby faces, but I don't think if somebody 420 00:26:09,320 --> 00:26:13,520 was like looking, I don't think really if you're ranking the greatest champions of all 421 00:26:13,520 --> 00:26:20,560 time, you know, you're like, well, John Cena only went 15 and 10 against Randy Orton that 422 00:26:20,560 --> 00:26:22,960 eliminates John Cena from the top guy. 423 00:26:22,960 --> 00:26:27,480 You know, I just don't think it's a bad level type thing. 424 00:26:27,480 --> 00:26:32,080 And then lastly here, Dr. Trey Russell votes is reporting on their Fightful Select Radio 425 00:26:32,080 --> 00:26:36,520 show, quote, "some within WWE believe that the vision could continue." 426 00:26:36,520 --> 00:26:39,080 But only if it's reimagined and that includes member changes. 427 00:26:39,080 --> 00:26:43,280 Another side of that is some feel the group has run its course and it's time to, quote, 428 00:26:43,280 --> 00:26:47,360 let the pieces fall where they may, regardless of how things turn out. 429 00:26:47,360 --> 00:26:54,120 Paul Haven is positioned to remain paired with Broadbreaker and quote, "Dr. Trey, we saw 430 00:26:54,120 --> 00:26:58,960 a weird interaction between Austin Theory and Paul Heyman on Raw this past Monday. 431 00:26:58,960 --> 00:27:01,400 It does feel like the vision is Reigns' course. 432 00:27:01,400 --> 00:27:05,720 Do you think that this is the end of the vision in WWE? 433 00:27:05,720 --> 00:27:08,720 I don't know if it's the end of the vision. 434 00:27:08,720 --> 00:27:10,320 It might like, like, wrestle close to it. 435 00:27:10,320 --> 00:27:15,000 It might be the end of this incarnation because it's really hard to have a group when everybody's 436 00:27:15,000 --> 00:27:16,000 heart. 437 00:27:16,000 --> 00:27:18,000 I mean, you only have Broadbreaker in Austin. 438 00:27:18,000 --> 00:27:24,560 There is the only healthy guys in the vision right now of, you know, two, two other guys 439 00:27:24,560 --> 00:27:25,560 are out injured. 440 00:27:25,560 --> 00:27:29,040 It's kind of hard to have a major faction when half the faction's injured. 441 00:27:29,040 --> 00:27:35,400 So I've said for a while, like, I think they still need some kind of veteran presence in this 442 00:27:35,400 --> 00:27:38,680 group, Aalha, CM Punk, Joining Nexus. 443 00:27:38,680 --> 00:27:41,320 They need somebody in there to be their bankable star. 444 00:27:41,320 --> 00:27:47,280 I mean, Broadbreaker's there, but you also want that veteran that has that cachet in 445 00:27:47,280 --> 00:27:52,080 it, whether it's an LA Knight or somebody else that kind of front the group a little bit. 446 00:27:52,080 --> 00:27:56,800 Because to me, the ultimate breakaway is going to be when they turn on Broadbreaker and 447 00:27:56,800 --> 00:27:58,400 make them a baby face. 448 00:27:58,400 --> 00:28:03,760 So if you spin them out now, you know, and kind of break up the group now, he doesn't have 449 00:28:03,760 --> 00:28:04,760 that opportunity. 450 00:28:04,760 --> 00:28:09,360 So I would hang on to at least a loose affiliation of it. 451 00:28:09,360 --> 00:28:12,040 Just wait for everybody to help. 452 00:28:12,040 --> 00:28:17,480 It feels like that this is getting dangerously close to win Paul Haven, like, Manage Curtis 453 00:28:17,480 --> 00:28:21,160 Axle and Ryback, Dr. Trey. 454 00:28:21,160 --> 00:28:26,920 It's, yeah, it had some potential, but now it just feels like it's running its course. 455 00:28:26,920 --> 00:28:31,600 So we'll see what they end up doing with Paul Haven and the Vision Group. 456 00:28:31,600 --> 00:28:35,040 I almost don't want to see it end because I feel like that would be a disservice to all 457 00:28:35,040 --> 00:28:39,760 those guys, but it also does feel like it's kind of ran its course right now. 458 00:28:39,760 --> 00:28:43,600 It's very unfortunate because it's just been absolutely ridiculed by injuries throughout 459 00:28:43,600 --> 00:28:46,400 the entire time the storyline has been going on. 460 00:28:46,400 --> 00:28:49,000 Yeah, I just know something is Austin Theory. 461 00:28:49,000 --> 00:28:53,680 You know, they're, uh, do you remember the guy that went on married with children? 462 00:28:53,680 --> 00:28:58,880 He was a Jefferson Darcy and they always said what his name is Ted McGinley. 463 00:28:58,880 --> 00:29:03,720 Every show he went on got canceled within a year or two of him being on it with his happy 464 00:29:03,720 --> 00:29:07,680 days, married with children, like he was the death now. 465 00:29:07,680 --> 00:29:12,880 Is Austin Theory that death now like a Boston theory joins your group? 466 00:29:12,880 --> 00:29:15,000 It gets discarded pretty quickly. 467 00:29:15,000 --> 00:29:18,920 Like he had that group with Seth, uh, right before COVID. 468 00:29:18,920 --> 00:29:22,760 Uh, then he went and joined the way and then it went away. 469 00:29:22,760 --> 00:29:25,280 Now he joins the vision and now the vision is he. 470 00:29:25,280 --> 00:29:29,080 Austin Theory might be that black cloud that just destroys groups. 471 00:29:29,080 --> 00:29:30,440 Yeah, he may be. 472 00:29:30,440 --> 00:29:34,880 He certainly may be, uh, because he has just had some pretty, pretty tough luck during 473 00:29:34,880 --> 00:29:36,360 his entire career. 474 00:29:36,360 --> 00:29:40,440 So, uh, any other news and notes here, Dr. Trey, from Night of Champions that you'd like 475 00:29:40,440 --> 00:29:43,600 to cover before we switch gears to Forbidden Door? 476 00:29:43,600 --> 00:29:49,760 I'm trying to think, no, I think the Jates, the J Tiffie, so with Charlotte getting 477 00:29:49,760 --> 00:29:53,280 involved made sense. 478 00:29:53,280 --> 00:29:59,760 Um, the Oba J stuff, the Oba, like Oba discarding the King of the Ring that, you know, that 479 00:29:59,760 --> 00:30:00,760 championship match. 480 00:30:00,760 --> 00:30:05,960 Do they say I missed when, uh, when Adam here's the target? 481 00:30:05,960 --> 00:30:11,680 Did they say that he still has the opportunity to challenge later on or just that thing 482 00:30:11,680 --> 00:30:12,680 is gone? 483 00:30:12,680 --> 00:30:13,960 Oba, you're saying? 484 00:30:13,960 --> 00:30:14,960 Yeah. 485 00:30:14,960 --> 00:30:17,400 Yeah, I think he's these just before COVID. 486 00:30:17,400 --> 00:30:18,400 Yeah, it's. 487 00:30:18,400 --> 00:30:22,240 I mean, at least they addressed it, but I would have been like, okay, well, you're giving 488 00:30:22,240 --> 00:30:23,240 it up. 489 00:30:23,240 --> 00:30:24,240 Well, exactly, right? 490 00:30:24,240 --> 00:30:29,280 I mean, should it be like a Miss America, like if Miss America can't fulfill her duties, 491 00:30:29,280 --> 00:30:30,880 the runner up becomes Miss America. 492 00:30:30,880 --> 00:30:31,880 Well, what about this though? 493 00:30:31,880 --> 00:30:33,200 Like, why not do? 494 00:30:33,200 --> 00:30:34,520 It's a two-night event. 495 00:30:34,520 --> 00:30:36,480 Why not do night one, Helen O'Cell? 496 00:30:36,480 --> 00:30:37,480 Night two. 497 00:30:37,480 --> 00:30:38,480 Who are you facing? 498 00:30:38,480 --> 00:30:39,480 Yeah. 499 00:30:39,480 --> 00:30:41,480 Forbidden Door, that's the case. 500 00:30:41,480 --> 00:30:45,920 All they could have easily done is play Brock's music. 501 00:30:45,920 --> 00:30:49,640 Oba gets distracted, Jay wins. 502 00:30:49,640 --> 00:30:50,920 It's an easy fix. 503 00:30:50,920 --> 00:30:54,920 And to go the route of like, no, no, no, Oba wins King of the Ring, but doesn't give a shit 504 00:30:54,920 --> 00:30:58,840 about the, sorry, pardon my language, but doesn't give a shit about the World title match. 505 00:30:58,840 --> 00:31:04,480 Just, or just de-emphasizes how important winning King of the Ring is. 506 00:31:04,480 --> 00:31:07,360 And they just brought it back within the last couple of years. 507 00:31:07,360 --> 00:31:12,120 Well, could you imagine if Jay also ends up being the opponent for Sammy Zane somehow 508 00:31:12,120 --> 00:31:14,120 at Summerslam? 509 00:31:14,120 --> 00:31:15,120 They did hug. 510 00:31:15,120 --> 00:31:17,000 They did hug and they did the handshake. 511 00:31:17,000 --> 00:31:20,960 Jay said on Raw, he's going to Smackdown to confront Sammy because he wants to bring the 512 00:31:20,960 --> 00:31:23,160 World away championship to the bloodline. 513 00:31:23,160 --> 00:31:25,160 So yeah, there you go. 514 00:31:25,160 --> 00:31:29,960 Nine of champions in the books, switching gears here to AW Forbidden Door this past Sunday 515 00:31:29,960 --> 00:31:33,080 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California. 516 00:31:33,080 --> 00:31:34,320 Couple to buy in matches. 517 00:31:34,320 --> 00:31:37,720 We had Drill and Maloney defeating Daniel Garcia. 518 00:31:37,720 --> 00:31:40,240 Makia defeating Sky Blue and a TBS. 519 00:31:40,240 --> 00:31:43,760 Makia defied it defeating Sky Blue and a TBS championship survival to fit his qualifying 520 00:31:43,760 --> 00:31:44,760 match. 521 00:31:44,760 --> 00:31:49,720 So it divided Dominion defeating Thunder Rosa and Olympia to retain the AW Women's World 522 00:31:49,720 --> 00:31:51,600 Tag Team Championship. 523 00:31:51,600 --> 00:31:56,200 The box to fit in unbound company and L-Sky team and a three-way tag team match. 524 00:31:56,200 --> 00:32:00,080 Kenny Omega to fit in Zach Saber Jr. John Moxley to retain the AW kind of championship 525 00:32:00,080 --> 00:32:01,080 over Bandito. 526 00:32:01,080 --> 00:32:05,480 Showed it, Umano defeating Pock to retain the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. 527 00:32:05,480 --> 00:32:09,080 Techland to fit in Starlight Kid to retain the AW Women's World Championship. 528 00:32:09,080 --> 00:32:13,680 Christian Cage and Adam Copeland to fit in the dogs to retain the AW World Tag Team Championship. 529 00:32:13,680 --> 00:32:16,920 Forbidden Door City's won a defeating Maya World to win the Women's Owl and Heart Cup 530 00:32:16,920 --> 00:32:17,920 Final. 531 00:32:17,920 --> 00:32:20,160 She now earns a AW Women's World Championship match at all. 532 00:32:20,160 --> 00:32:26,360 Then Team Briscoe defeating Team DC MJF in the 12-man Steel Cage match. 533 00:32:26,360 --> 00:32:27,360 Very cool. 534 00:32:27,360 --> 00:32:28,360 What do they call it? 535 00:32:28,360 --> 00:32:29,360 The Deaths Door? 536 00:32:29,360 --> 00:32:31,360 Was that the name they went with? 537 00:32:31,360 --> 00:32:32,360 Deaths Door. 538 00:32:32,360 --> 00:32:33,760 Yeah, that was a great looking Steel Cage. 539 00:32:33,760 --> 00:32:35,960 So props to them for coming up with that. 540 00:32:35,960 --> 00:32:38,400 Mark Briscoe earns earned an AW World Championship match. 541 00:32:38,400 --> 00:32:41,560 This past Wednesday on Dynamite and unfortunately lost. 542 00:32:41,560 --> 00:32:45,200 Then Real Osprey defeated Swarth Strickland in the men's Owl and Heart Cup Final. 543 00:32:45,200 --> 00:32:49,520 Osprey earns an AW World Championship match at AW All-In. 544 00:32:49,520 --> 00:32:57,800 Dr. Trey, why is AW giving us MJF vs. Kenny Omega this Wednesday at Dynamite Beach Break 545 00:32:57,800 --> 00:32:58,800 now. 546 00:32:58,800 --> 00:33:04,600 We just had MJF vs. Mark Briscoe for the title to open up Dynamite this past week. 547 00:33:04,600 --> 00:33:09,120 We have a pay-per-view in a couple weeks in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 548 00:33:09,120 --> 00:33:12,440 The home country of Kenny Omega called redemption. 549 00:33:12,440 --> 00:33:19,680 Why are we not doing MJF vs. Kenny Omega then and we're doing it now? 550 00:33:19,680 --> 00:33:21,680 I honestly have no idea. 551 00:33:21,680 --> 00:33:22,680 Is there more to this? 552 00:33:22,680 --> 00:33:28,480 That's what Dr. Trey figure out because I'm like, what's a bigger draw for Wembley Stadium? 553 00:33:28,480 --> 00:33:32,680 Is it Omega Osprey or MJF Osprey? 554 00:33:32,680 --> 00:33:37,560 Because I mean, that's like, you know, we've seen it on, you know, we've heard for years, 555 00:33:37,560 --> 00:33:41,680 like, they're always booking towards WrestleMania, right? 556 00:33:41,680 --> 00:33:46,440 And all-in is for all intents of purposes, they're WrestleMania. 557 00:33:46,440 --> 00:33:51,680 Like, aren't you trying to, like, what's the bigger attraction in MJF or Kenny Omega? 558 00:33:51,680 --> 00:33:56,640 Maybe it is Kenny Omega and then you're trying to do something to switch stuff up now. 559 00:33:56,640 --> 00:34:03,120 I don't get it because, you know, even with the Mark Briscoe thing, I don't see Mark 560 00:34:03,120 --> 00:34:08,080 Briscoe and Will Osprey being a main event caliber match for all in. 561 00:34:08,080 --> 00:34:12,320 Now Kenny can slide in that shot and I'm good with it. 562 00:34:12,320 --> 00:34:17,240 But it goes back to, was it all in last year when they had that backstage segment after 563 00:34:17,240 --> 00:34:19,040 both guys lost? 564 00:34:19,040 --> 00:34:22,840 Maybe that's the direction they're headed, but once again, you're saying the same thing. 565 00:34:22,840 --> 00:34:26,160 If you're having a paper you in Canada, why not just wait until you get to Canada, pull 566 00:34:26,160 --> 00:34:27,160 the shirt or so. 567 00:34:27,160 --> 00:34:31,400 Yeah, sometimes they, as much as I've enjoyed the programming, sometimes they're booking 568 00:34:31,400 --> 00:34:34,400 decisions, make them be scratching my head. 569 00:34:34,400 --> 00:34:38,720 Yeah, I'm thinking Kenny Omega is winning the championship on Wednesday, Dr. Trey, because 570 00:34:38,720 --> 00:34:43,280 the stipulation where if Kenny loses, he could ever challenge for the championship again. 571 00:34:43,280 --> 00:34:48,520 I'm getting the vibe that he's walking out as AW World Champion and more likely a path 572 00:34:48,520 --> 00:34:55,240 that we see is Will Osprey versus Kenny Omega for the title at AW All-In. 573 00:34:55,240 --> 00:35:01,360 I think Hangman Adam Page gets involved somehow and we get Page versus MJF at all in. 574 00:35:01,360 --> 00:35:03,440 I think that's maybe why they're doing it now. 575 00:35:03,440 --> 00:35:06,480 Maybe MJF is off television for a couple of weeks heading it all in. 576 00:35:06,480 --> 00:35:08,040 Is he filming something? 577 00:35:08,040 --> 00:35:11,920 It just seems odd that we're doing it now, but I do think a week from today, you and I 578 00:35:11,920 --> 00:35:15,200 are sitting here going Kenny Omega is the new AW World Champion. 579 00:35:15,200 --> 00:35:20,480 Yeah, or they could be like, "Hey, that career killer thing Gunther's doing, we can kind 580 00:35:20,480 --> 00:35:24,560 of do the same thing with MJF because he keeps putting these stipulations on guys and they 581 00:35:24,560 --> 00:35:26,920 can't challenge for the title anymore." 582 00:35:26,920 --> 00:35:31,040 And that's the rather going, "What you said makes sense, because we haven't seen 583 00:35:31,040 --> 00:35:34,760 Hangman in what three months now, three, four months." 584 00:35:34,760 --> 00:35:40,800 So it makes sense to do it that way, but at the same time, I can easily see them just pulling 585 00:35:40,800 --> 00:35:46,400 the trigger, letting MJF win and Kenny can't challenge the title as long as MJF's on 586 00:35:46,400 --> 00:35:47,400 top. 587 00:35:47,400 --> 00:35:52,800 Osprey wins it all in and Kenny's his first challenger coming out of all it. 588 00:35:52,800 --> 00:35:54,640 Yeah, I don't know. 589 00:35:54,640 --> 00:35:59,640 It just seems very odd like you're not saving it for the Canadian pay-per-view because then 590 00:35:59,640 --> 00:36:00,960 what are you doing on redemption? 591 00:36:00,960 --> 00:36:06,840 Even if MJF wins and retains and Kenny is not the one. 592 00:36:06,840 --> 00:36:10,240 I mean, what are they going to do with MJF at redemption then? 593 00:36:10,240 --> 00:36:11,240 Right? 594 00:36:11,240 --> 00:36:13,480 I mean, you've just grown to, you think so? 595 00:36:13,480 --> 00:36:16,480 No, I'm just, that's Canadian, I was just thinking. 596 00:36:16,480 --> 00:36:18,000 Yeah, right, just all Canadian pay-per-view. 597 00:36:18,000 --> 00:36:19,160 Like, what will they do? 598 00:36:19,160 --> 00:36:21,160 Like, who's next for him? 599 00:36:21,160 --> 00:36:23,160 Oh, yeah, I... 600 00:36:23,160 --> 00:36:28,720 I mean, we certainly do not see Kenny coming, but they're, you know, they're hyping up Kenny's 601 00:36:28,720 --> 00:36:29,720 own two against MJF. 602 00:36:29,720 --> 00:36:32,680 This could be the last time he challenges for the title. 603 00:36:32,680 --> 00:36:33,960 I mean, who... 604 00:36:33,960 --> 00:36:35,360 They just did brisco. 605 00:36:35,360 --> 00:36:38,640 Like brisco would have been my choice for redemption, but they did it right away. 606 00:36:38,640 --> 00:36:39,960 Fine, okay. 607 00:36:39,960 --> 00:36:43,400 The Kenny stuff makes sense, the way that it's being set up to it for redemption, nope, we're 608 00:36:43,400 --> 00:36:44,720 doing it next week. 609 00:36:44,720 --> 00:36:48,360 So then what do you do for your pay-per-view then for the AW World Championship? 610 00:36:48,360 --> 00:36:53,000 I mean, we've seen them do short turn-arounds on some of these angles. 611 00:36:53,000 --> 00:36:57,280 I mean, you could take a Kyle, like a Kyle O'Reilly. 612 00:36:57,280 --> 00:37:01,480 You know, just had that great match with Mox, a couple of weeks back at a favorite view. 613 00:37:01,480 --> 00:37:07,280 Like, you could cycle up to the conglomeration or you could cycle somebody else up to do it 614 00:37:07,280 --> 00:37:13,280 because, you know, we don't even really know where their storyline is going for their main 615 00:37:13,280 --> 00:37:16,960 event match at this favorite view in Canada. 616 00:37:16,960 --> 00:37:21,400 So like to me, it's kind of like it's weird you're putting this buffer pay-per-view. 617 00:37:21,400 --> 00:37:25,240 It's kind of like when they threw that year, they threw it through roadblock in between 618 00:37:25,240 --> 00:37:27,680 the elimination chamber and WrestleMania. 619 00:37:27,680 --> 00:37:30,480 Just like, what, like, why is it here? 620 00:37:30,480 --> 00:37:35,720 Like at this point, we kind of know we're just take the time to build up, you know, WrestleMania. 621 00:37:35,720 --> 00:37:40,360 Just take the time to build a ball and, oh, no, we got an AW World Championship in Canada. 622 00:37:40,360 --> 00:37:46,560 Maybe we do MJF in Jericho because it's in Canada and we can play off the, they can do a dance 623 00:37:46,560 --> 00:37:49,240 routine and singing number like they did years ago leading up to it. 624 00:37:49,240 --> 00:37:50,240 Who knows? 625 00:37:50,240 --> 00:37:58,360 But it's just weird that like they kind of sometimes burn through their challengers. 626 00:37:58,360 --> 00:37:59,360 We sell a Darby. 627 00:37:59,360 --> 00:38:06,120 Darby ran through like eight guys in a matter of like four weeks to build up his title defense 628 00:38:06,120 --> 00:38:09,400 number and then you're like, well, you got to pull the trigger and take the belt off 629 00:38:09,400 --> 00:38:10,400 of them now. 630 00:38:10,400 --> 00:38:12,400 There's no more challengers left after MJF. 631 00:38:12,400 --> 00:38:17,840 In a sense, it's kind of like that where it's like, I mean, could you cycle up like a 632 00:38:17,840 --> 00:38:19,920 member of the hurt business? 633 00:38:19,920 --> 00:38:21,640 You know, could you cycle up? 634 00:38:21,640 --> 00:38:26,320 You could like really based on how that case match would, you could throw Indraude into that 635 00:38:26,320 --> 00:38:28,840 match with MJF, you know, as well. 636 00:38:28,840 --> 00:38:30,840 Who did you say? 637 00:38:30,840 --> 00:38:31,840 Andrade. 638 00:38:31,840 --> 00:38:33,560 Yeah, that's a good point. 639 00:38:33,560 --> 00:38:35,560 Andrade. 640 00:38:35,560 --> 00:38:39,600 You know, you can cycle up maybe a B plus level guy. 641 00:38:39,600 --> 00:38:40,600 Wow. 642 00:38:40,600 --> 00:38:41,600 Shot's fired. 643 00:38:41,600 --> 00:38:43,600 Shot's fired and Andrade. 644 00:38:43,600 --> 00:38:44,600 How you know? 645 00:38:44,600 --> 00:38:46,600 Andrade has never been a world. 646 00:38:46,600 --> 00:38:48,600 Andrade has never been a world champion. 647 00:38:48,600 --> 00:38:49,600 And I see champ. 648 00:38:49,600 --> 00:38:50,600 World champion. 649 00:38:50,600 --> 00:38:52,600 But how you know? 650 00:38:52,600 --> 00:38:53,600 How you know? 651 00:38:53,600 --> 00:38:54,600 How you know? 652 00:38:54,600 --> 00:38:55,600 I know. 653 00:38:55,600 --> 00:38:56,600 All right. 654 00:38:56,600 --> 00:39:00,600 So with that said, who is most likely to face the newest death rider? 655 00:39:00,600 --> 00:39:03,600 Will Osprey at all in? 656 00:39:03,600 --> 00:39:07,480 I'm still going to lead MJF. 657 00:39:07,480 --> 00:39:14,840 I just I still feel like MJF, your mega heal, your top heal against. 658 00:39:14,840 --> 00:39:18,080 He may not be the top baby face right now because of the death 659 00:39:18,080 --> 00:39:23,200 rider affiliation, but in London, in Wembley Stadium, there's 660 00:39:23,200 --> 00:39:26,200 going to be damn near 80,000 people standing on their feet cheering 661 00:39:26,200 --> 00:39:27,680 for Osprey. 662 00:39:27,680 --> 00:39:30,720 You still want to do top heal versus top baby face at all. 663 00:39:30,720 --> 00:39:34,200 And so I still lean with MJF in this one. 664 00:39:34,200 --> 00:39:35,760 Would you think of a well-lossed bridge on the death 665 00:39:35,760 --> 00:39:36,920 riders on Wednesdays? 666 00:39:36,920 --> 00:39:37,920 I don't mind. 667 00:39:37,920 --> 00:39:39,240 It was very poorly executed, right? 668 00:39:39,240 --> 00:39:40,960 He gets handed the patch. 669 00:39:40,960 --> 00:39:43,200 Then he doesn't really respond to Moxley. 670 00:39:43,200 --> 00:39:48,720 And then it takes Excalibur on commentary to be like he's 671 00:39:48,720 --> 00:39:49,800 joined the death riders. 672 00:39:49,800 --> 00:39:53,240 And they showed the patch so it on his gear. 673 00:39:53,240 --> 00:39:56,400 That was pretty badly executed from a production standpoint. 674 00:39:56,400 --> 00:40:00,640 But what do you think of it creatively? 675 00:40:00,640 --> 00:40:02,360 I mean, it creates business. 676 00:40:02,360 --> 00:40:04,200 If MJF wins it all in. 677 00:40:04,200 --> 00:40:08,320 And now Mox is like, hey, you only want because of us. 678 00:40:08,320 --> 00:40:11,160 Now he's got a whole group of guys to challenge again. 679 00:40:11,160 --> 00:40:16,760 I mean, whether it's Pog or Claudio or even Moxley himself, 680 00:40:16,760 --> 00:40:20,080 it makes sense because the best built baby faces are 681 00:40:20,080 --> 00:40:24,160 usually the ones that break out of staples like that. 682 00:40:24,160 --> 00:40:26,800 But watching that segment though, it reminded me of an ACEs 683 00:40:26,800 --> 00:40:28,520 and 8th segment from TNA. 684 00:40:28,520 --> 00:40:29,040 Ooh. 685 00:40:29,040 --> 00:40:30,720 It was just kind of like-- 686 00:40:30,720 --> 00:40:33,800 yeah, it was like, this is not being well done. 687 00:40:33,800 --> 00:40:38,760 It actually also reminded me of when Jericho was recruiting 688 00:40:38,760 --> 00:40:44,600 Mox to join that first group he had before the JAS. 689 00:40:44,600 --> 00:40:46,240 And Mox took the T-shirt-- 690 00:40:46,240 --> 00:40:47,640 oh, the inner circle. 691 00:40:47,640 --> 00:40:49,600 When Jericho was rooting Mox to the inner circle, 692 00:40:49,600 --> 00:40:53,120 and Mox took the shards, but then smashed the champagne 693 00:40:53,120 --> 00:40:54,640 bottle over Jericho's head. 694 00:40:54,640 --> 00:40:58,360 But it was kind of like, all right, this is weird. 695 00:40:58,360 --> 00:41:00,440 And you feel it from the rest of the group too. 696 00:41:00,440 --> 00:41:02,880 Half the group is invested in Ospreay joined there. 697 00:41:02,880 --> 00:41:05,480 I was like, why are we bothering? 698 00:41:05,480 --> 00:41:07,720 It was kind of like, it wasn't well done. 699 00:41:07,720 --> 00:41:11,000 And Ospreay's there getting training. 700 00:41:11,000 --> 00:41:14,160 Why would he not be excited about being a full-fledged member? 701 00:41:14,160 --> 00:41:15,400 Like, why go through that unless you're 702 00:41:15,400 --> 00:41:17,240 trying to join the group? 703 00:41:17,240 --> 00:41:20,240 You know, it was just kind of weird and clunky and awkward, 704 00:41:20,240 --> 00:41:24,200 and not really well executed, like you said. 705 00:41:24,200 --> 00:41:25,720 Yeah, I think from a creative standpoint, 706 00:41:25,720 --> 00:41:28,120 they have set it up where like the other death writers are 707 00:41:28,120 --> 00:41:29,080 embracing him. 708 00:41:29,080 --> 00:41:32,640 It just feels like, OK, what's the end goal here? 709 00:41:32,640 --> 00:41:35,040 Is the death writers a certain baby face? 710 00:41:35,040 --> 00:41:37,520 I think there are fans that are clamoring for that. 711 00:41:37,520 --> 00:41:41,560 Or does the death writers eventually turn on Ospreay? 712 00:41:41,560 --> 00:41:43,680 Like, let's say Ospreay went to championship 713 00:41:43,680 --> 00:41:45,240 and then the next one's Ann Dynamite. 714 00:41:45,240 --> 00:41:47,920 It's like, OK, now hand over the title to Moxley. 715 00:41:47,920 --> 00:41:49,720 He got you here. 716 00:41:49,720 --> 00:41:51,520 There could be a little bit of that as well. 717 00:41:51,520 --> 00:41:55,360 So it's going-- it could go either way. 718 00:41:55,360 --> 00:41:57,120 And that's what's exciting about it. 719 00:41:57,120 --> 00:41:59,680 I'm invested in the storyline. 720 00:41:59,680 --> 00:42:01,640 I just wish some of the execution was a little bit better, 721 00:42:01,640 --> 00:42:04,480 because I did think it was like unanswered questions. 722 00:42:04,480 --> 00:42:06,720 I thought the segment was pretty decent to open up 723 00:42:06,720 --> 00:42:07,560 to Dynamite. 724 00:42:07,560 --> 00:42:08,040 I enjoyed it. 725 00:42:08,040 --> 00:42:10,880 Despite the ACEs and eight comparison from New 726 00:42:10,880 --> 00:42:14,880 Doctor Trey, which is fair, I enjoyed it. 727 00:42:14,880 --> 00:42:16,800 I just didn't like the execution like commentary 728 00:42:16,800 --> 00:42:19,720 had it tell me that he eventually joined. 729 00:42:19,720 --> 00:42:22,680 And it's also on his gear, because that was like 10 minutes 730 00:42:22,680 --> 00:42:24,920 through that match before they finally pointed that out. 731 00:42:24,920 --> 00:42:27,200 Maybe they didn't know about it. 732 00:42:27,200 --> 00:42:29,520 It was hard to see on his gear, quite honestly. 733 00:42:29,520 --> 00:42:31,720 And then I guess anything else from Forbidden Door 734 00:42:31,720 --> 00:42:35,120 and Outtrib before we move over to NXT Great American Bash? 735 00:42:35,120 --> 00:42:36,880 Why the hell do you have Mercedes-Bonae 736 00:42:36,880 --> 00:42:39,120 with the DMO and Cullen Cup? 737 00:42:39,120 --> 00:42:40,480 Completely against that. 738 00:42:40,480 --> 00:42:41,760 There's nobody else. 739 00:42:41,760 --> 00:42:42,680 There's nobody else. 740 00:42:42,680 --> 00:42:44,280 And then once again, now you're going 741 00:42:44,280 --> 00:42:47,480 to match with Mercedes and Thecla, which on paper, 742 00:42:47,480 --> 00:42:48,300 if you're like, hey, we're getting 743 00:42:48,300 --> 00:42:52,200 Thecla and Mercedes, you're like, that's a damn good matchup. 744 00:42:52,200 --> 00:42:53,680 Who's the crowd going to cheer for? 745 00:42:53,680 --> 00:42:56,040 Tecla. 746 00:42:56,040 --> 00:42:59,640 And she's basically embarrassing everybody that comes around her. 747 00:42:59,640 --> 00:43:04,320 So she's the quintessential Queen Bitch character 748 00:43:04,320 --> 00:43:08,000 against the other quintessential Queen Bitch character. 749 00:43:08,000 --> 00:43:11,280 There's a thing that might, honestly, you might watch a lot 750 00:43:11,280 --> 00:43:13,840 of people walk out of the building at all 751 00:43:13,840 --> 00:43:16,040 and go get a drink or-- 752 00:43:16,040 --> 00:43:18,160 that will be the match that fans don't care about, 753 00:43:18,160 --> 00:43:22,440 because fans aren't positively invested in either character 754 00:43:22,440 --> 00:43:22,920 right now. 755 00:43:22,920 --> 00:43:25,320 So I just don't understand why you make-- 756 00:43:25,320 --> 00:43:27,720 at this point, if you got Maya World in the finals, 757 00:43:27,720 --> 00:43:28,400 throw her in the mix. 758 00:43:28,400 --> 00:43:32,840 Make her look like she has no shot at winning. 759 00:43:32,840 --> 00:43:35,120 There's no way she can do it. 760 00:43:35,120 --> 00:43:37,800 And then she does the unthinkable at all in. 761 00:43:37,800 --> 00:43:39,240 That's a great story. 762 00:43:39,240 --> 00:43:41,200 Mercedes winning, not a great story. 763 00:43:41,200 --> 00:43:43,760 Thecla winning, not really a great story. 764 00:43:43,760 --> 00:43:45,200 I like great stories. 765 00:43:45,200 --> 00:43:48,640 Yeah, the women's division, A.W. is-- 766 00:43:48,640 --> 00:43:50,240 it's not well booked right now. 767 00:43:50,240 --> 00:43:51,800 They're hamstrung a little bit. 768 00:43:51,800 --> 00:43:55,520 I mean, a lot of top stars are either out, 769 00:43:55,520 --> 00:43:59,000 like Tony Storm or injured or coming back from injury 770 00:43:59,000 --> 00:44:00,640 and like Willow Nightingale. 771 00:44:00,640 --> 00:44:02,920 And there's not a lot of investment. 772 00:44:02,920 --> 00:44:04,600 I would have brought back Mercedes-Monae 773 00:44:04,600 --> 00:44:07,520 maybe as a baby face then, if that was the direction 774 00:44:07,520 --> 00:44:08,840 that they were booking themselves into. 775 00:44:08,840 --> 00:44:13,520 But I almost feel like this wasn't supposed to happen. 776 00:44:13,520 --> 00:44:17,280 I can't imagine that Ceree, who was removed from injury, 777 00:44:17,280 --> 00:44:19,600 was supposed to win it all. 778 00:44:19,600 --> 00:44:20,880 Something's got to give here. 779 00:44:20,880 --> 00:44:23,760 The Maya World story was fine. 780 00:44:23,760 --> 00:44:26,200 I feel for her and what her family's gone through 781 00:44:26,200 --> 00:44:28,880 in the last month, obviously, with the tragic death 782 00:44:28,880 --> 00:44:32,360 of her young brother, her brother. 783 00:44:32,360 --> 00:44:33,800 Like, that's awful. 784 00:44:33,800 --> 00:44:37,400 But I couldn't tell you three Maya World matches. 785 00:44:37,400 --> 00:44:39,640 I think every time I saw her on television in A.W. 786 00:44:39,640 --> 00:44:44,520 she was working with Hayan as like a developmental talent 787 00:44:44,520 --> 00:44:46,560 to put over another 10 women's tag team. 788 00:44:46,560 --> 00:44:48,440 Like, she never was winning matches. 789 00:44:48,440 --> 00:44:53,000 So that to me, like, fine, nice story, makes her feel good. 790 00:44:53,000 --> 00:44:54,720 It just felt like as a wrestling fan watching 791 00:44:54,720 --> 00:44:59,400 play out, it just felt inauthentic, which was not great. 792 00:44:59,400 --> 00:45:00,360 And again, I don't know. 793 00:45:00,360 --> 00:45:01,840 Maybe they were kind of booked into a corner. 794 00:45:01,840 --> 00:45:05,400 I did not love the Maya World Cinderella one, Dr. Tre, 795 00:45:05,400 --> 00:45:09,680 because she never was connecting with the audience prior to all this. 796 00:45:09,680 --> 00:45:10,880 Yeah. 797 00:45:10,880 --> 00:45:11,880 Yeah. 798 00:45:11,880 --> 00:45:12,880 But that's the thing. 799 00:45:12,880 --> 00:45:15,600 Once again, you try to book stuff far out. 800 00:45:15,600 --> 00:45:17,600 So you know, like-- but that's the thing. 801 00:45:17,600 --> 00:45:19,520 And you and I are in business. 802 00:45:19,520 --> 00:45:23,400 And you and I both have decent big time jobs. 803 00:45:23,400 --> 00:45:28,520 And like, you have plan A, but then you've got to have plan B, C, and D. 804 00:45:28,520 --> 00:45:31,880 And it felt like they had plan A. And then when plan A didn't work, 805 00:45:31,880 --> 00:45:35,600 they just went, OK, let's have Mercedes win the whole thing. 806 00:45:35,600 --> 00:45:38,080 Like, that was plan B. And then there was no deviating from it. 807 00:45:38,080 --> 00:45:41,120 I mean, I thought there were better challengers 808 00:45:41,120 --> 00:45:45,560 in the TBS survival of the fittest match that we saw 809 00:45:45,560 --> 00:45:48,040 than there was in this tournament. 810 00:45:48,040 --> 00:45:50,360 You know, like, I could have picked almost anybody-- 811 00:45:50,360 --> 00:45:53,600 I would say five of the six ladies in that match, 812 00:45:53,600 --> 00:45:58,280 I think, have more at least as much, if not more credibility than Maya World. 813 00:45:58,280 --> 00:46:00,280 And you could have put anyone in the finals. 814 00:46:00,280 --> 00:46:03,760 And if Mercedes won, I'm like, all right, I get it. 815 00:46:03,760 --> 00:46:11,000 But I mean, hardly cameras, maybe most organically over females on the roster. 816 00:46:11,000 --> 00:46:13,160 Why not put her in that position? 817 00:46:13,160 --> 00:46:15,040 You know, like, you could have slid-- 818 00:46:15,040 --> 00:46:18,800 I mean, you could have slid stat lander back into that mix. 819 00:46:18,800 --> 00:46:21,600 You could have slid, oh, Queen Amanata. 820 00:46:21,600 --> 00:46:23,120 You know, in the finals, because Mercedes-Benz, 821 00:46:23,120 --> 00:46:24,800 I would have been a little more invested in it. 822 00:46:24,800 --> 00:46:26,760 And even one of those girls, I thought, 823 00:46:26,760 --> 00:46:29,640 would have been a better challenger in the finals than Maya World. 824 00:46:29,640 --> 00:46:31,200 They were scrambling, Dr. Tri. 825 00:46:31,200 --> 00:46:33,760 Whatever the original plans were, they were scrambling. 826 00:46:33,760 --> 00:46:41,120 And they had nobody organically that was going to get underneath 827 00:46:41,120 --> 00:46:43,520 with the audience and build up to be like, OK, 828 00:46:43,520 --> 00:46:45,960 this is the person to go challenge, tech lit all in. 829 00:46:45,960 --> 00:46:47,960 I think they were trying to conjure it up with Maya World, 830 00:46:47,960 --> 00:46:53,240 but prior to her booking outside of her horrific family tragedy, 831 00:46:53,240 --> 00:46:55,360 prior to all that, her wrestling, I couldn't tell you. 832 00:46:55,360 --> 00:47:00,240 Like, anything else other than her being like, feeder talent in tag team matches, 833 00:47:00,240 --> 00:47:02,720 like just kind of like a job or-- 834 00:47:02,720 --> 00:47:03,600 so there you go. 835 00:47:03,600 --> 00:47:07,880 Anything else from Forbidden Door, if we move over to Grand American Bash? 836 00:47:07,880 --> 00:47:09,680 You got your boy back, Jay White's back. 837 00:47:09,680 --> 00:47:10,440 I love Jay White. 838 00:47:10,440 --> 00:47:11,920 Great promo on Ty and Mike. 839 00:47:11,920 --> 00:47:13,480 I love that segment. 840 00:47:13,480 --> 00:47:16,400 And I love that he's still acting like his normal healer, Stealth, 841 00:47:16,400 --> 00:47:17,400 calling out Billy. 842 00:47:17,400 --> 00:47:21,720 Billy-- Billy O. Yeah, welcome back, Jay White. 843 00:47:21,720 --> 00:47:23,000 That was about it. 844 00:47:23,000 --> 00:47:25,960 Yeah, other than that, it was a good show. 845 00:47:25,960 --> 00:47:27,120 Yeah, it was a good show. 846 00:47:27,120 --> 00:47:28,320 I enjoyed the show. 847 00:47:28,320 --> 00:47:30,560 But those were my main takeaways. 848 00:47:30,560 --> 00:47:33,760 Yeah, I wish they explained what Jay White was out with. 849 00:47:33,760 --> 00:47:35,120 That's like one of the things with AW. 850 00:47:35,120 --> 00:47:36,480 I feel like they do an awful job. 851 00:47:36,480 --> 00:47:38,160 They never explain injuries. 852 00:47:38,160 --> 00:47:40,080 Like, maybe feel invested as a fan. 853 00:47:40,080 --> 00:47:41,480 So all right. 854 00:47:41,480 --> 00:47:43,640 Anyway, NXT Grand American Bash this past Sunday 855 00:47:43,640 --> 00:47:45,680 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando Florida, 856 00:47:45,680 --> 00:47:50,480 Tony DeAngelo defeated N'Raku to retain the NXT Championship. 857 00:47:50,480 --> 00:47:51,920 Thoughts on that match, Dr. Trey? 858 00:47:51,920 --> 00:47:56,160 It was OK. 859 00:47:56,160 --> 00:47:58,840 Just a little-- I don't want to say I was surprised. 860 00:47:58,840 --> 00:48:00,160 I just-- I don't know. 861 00:48:00,160 --> 00:48:01,040 I don't know about you. 862 00:48:01,040 --> 00:48:03,200 But when they bring the new guys in, they hype them up, 863 00:48:03,200 --> 00:48:05,920 and then they don't win their first match. 864 00:48:05,920 --> 00:48:08,720 Like, how far down do you push them at this point? 865 00:48:08,720 --> 00:48:11,080 But you're kind of seeing that he's still lingering. 866 00:48:11,080 --> 00:48:13,240 Like, N'Raku is still lingering on the top of the roster. 867 00:48:13,240 --> 00:48:15,240 But-- I don't know. 868 00:48:15,240 --> 00:48:18,880 I-- I like Tony D. I just don't know if I like Tony D 869 00:48:18,880 --> 00:48:22,720 as NXT Champion. 870 00:48:22,720 --> 00:48:23,760 Yeah, I could see that. 871 00:48:23,760 --> 00:48:26,480 I think that's understandable. 872 00:48:26,480 --> 00:48:29,040 Yeah, I just figured I'd pause there because it's like, 873 00:48:29,040 --> 00:48:32,800 you bring in N'Raku evil, and he takes the L. 874 00:48:32,800 --> 00:48:33,960 And then they follow up on Tuesday. 875 00:48:33,960 --> 00:48:36,120 And basically, N'Raku's just trying to blind Tony 876 00:48:36,120 --> 00:48:37,640 DeAngelo at this point. 877 00:48:37,640 --> 00:48:39,080 So which I found very odd. 878 00:48:39,080 --> 00:48:39,880 You do that. 879 00:48:39,880 --> 00:48:40,680 What would you do that-- 880 00:48:40,680 --> 00:48:44,440 Yeah, it's just let's blind Tony DeAngelo. 881 00:48:44,440 --> 00:48:45,800 Zary DeFeeder Tane impacts later 882 00:48:45,800 --> 00:48:48,240 Tane NXT Women's North American the WWE Women's Speed Championship. 886 00:48:54,680 --> 00:48:56,840 Sequad Sugar's DeFeeder Dion Lennox. 887 00:48:56,840 --> 00:48:58,520 Miles Bourne, DeFeeder Tane Beyond Heights, 888 00:48:58,520 --> 00:49:00,680 ReTane NXT North American Championship. 889 00:49:00,680 --> 00:49:02,400 And Kendall Gray defeated Lola Vice 890 00:49:02,400 --> 00:49:04,800 to win the NXT Women's Championship. 891 00:49:04,800 --> 00:49:07,000 Dr. Trace Kendall Gray already is 892 00:49:07,000 --> 00:49:10,640 already ready to carry NXT as Women's Champion, 893 00:49:10,640 --> 00:49:13,480 where did WWE move the title onto her too soon? 894 00:49:13,920 --> 00:49:19,320 I think this is a little bit the sole Ruka Intercontinental 895 00:49:19,320 --> 00:49:20,080 Test. 896 00:49:20,080 --> 00:49:25,080 Like, in-ring, fantastic, maybe the most naturally gifted female 897 00:49:25,080 --> 00:49:28,200 wrestler we've seen in a long time. 898 00:49:28,200 --> 00:49:30,800 She admitted herself in her promo that she's not great at 899 00:49:30,800 --> 00:49:32,200 promos. 900 00:49:32,200 --> 00:49:35,720 But when you have somebody that can put on a good match 901 00:49:35,720 --> 00:49:40,800 with anybody on the roster, that's kind of a win. 902 00:49:40,800 --> 00:49:43,440 I just think they're showing a lot of faith in a girl 903 00:49:43,440 --> 00:49:46,000 that's only been signed to the company for about a year. 904 00:49:46,000 --> 00:49:50,160 So I'll lean on their judgment here and say that they made 905 00:49:50,160 --> 00:49:51,880 the right call on this. 906 00:49:51,880 --> 00:49:54,240 It just sucks for Lola Vice to that feel like Lola is finally 907 00:49:54,240 --> 00:49:55,880 coming into her own. 908 00:49:55,880 --> 00:49:58,520 And you could feel the confidence growing. 909 00:49:58,520 --> 00:50:01,800 You could feel her taking the roster on her back and then to pull 910 00:50:01,800 --> 00:50:03,400 this kind of quickly is a little weird. 911 00:50:03,400 --> 00:50:05,040 I'm just wondering if we're going to get the-- 912 00:50:05,040 --> 00:50:06,320 we usually see this on the men's side. 913 00:50:06,320 --> 00:50:08,200 Usually we have a baby face champion. 914 00:50:08,200 --> 00:50:09,360 They lose the title. 915 00:50:09,360 --> 00:50:11,400 They turn ill. 916 00:50:11,400 --> 00:50:13,920 I'm just wondering if we're going to see a Lola Vice Eel turn 917 00:50:13,920 --> 00:50:14,960 coming out of this. 918 00:50:14,960 --> 00:50:18,040 I think that is a good possibility for sure 919 00:50:18,040 --> 00:50:19,160 to the Lola Vice Eel turn. 920 00:50:19,160 --> 00:50:21,840 I believe Kendall Gray has been under contract for at least 921 00:50:21,840 --> 00:50:22,840 two years and more because I've ever 922 00:50:22,840 --> 00:50:24,240 seen her on NXT level up. 923 00:50:24,240 --> 00:50:27,120 She was on a vault for a little bit on the NXT roster 924 00:50:27,120 --> 00:50:29,320 within the last year. 925 00:50:29,320 --> 00:50:30,360 Extremely talented. 926 00:50:30,360 --> 00:50:34,200 I agree with you that I think this is a test for her. 927 00:50:34,200 --> 00:50:37,960 I watched her cut her promo to open up NXT on Tuesday night. 928 00:50:37,960 --> 00:50:42,840 And all I could think of was she is such a natural talent 929 00:50:42,840 --> 00:50:47,360 that I think for her, we have to look at the WrestleMania 930 00:50:47,360 --> 00:50:48,600 timeline right now. 931 00:50:48,600 --> 00:50:53,080 I could see she tears up NXT for the next six months, 932 00:50:53,080 --> 00:50:55,840 departs all out like an Oba Femi, 933 00:50:55,840 --> 00:50:58,280 and then enters the women's Royal Rumble. 934 00:50:58,280 --> 00:50:59,480 It does her great performance. 935 00:50:59,480 --> 00:51:00,920 Maybe she wins elimination chamber, 936 00:51:00,920 --> 00:51:04,040 and she's in a championship match at WrestleMania. 937 00:51:04,040 --> 00:51:06,160 Like that is, I think, the sky for her right now. 938 00:51:06,160 --> 00:51:08,320 I think the sky is the limit. 939 00:51:08,320 --> 00:51:11,920 And I think she's main roster, I think she's main roster bound in 940 00:51:11,920 --> 00:51:13,920 2027. 941 00:51:13,920 --> 00:51:15,760 >> So you're thinking that you were like this Stephanie 942 00:51:15,760 --> 00:51:16,960 about core run? 943 00:51:16,960 --> 00:51:20,000 >> I think it's possible, yes. 944 00:51:20,000 --> 00:51:21,000 >> Yeah. 945 00:51:21,000 --> 00:51:24,840 >> No, I mean, and as long as she can keep improving her 946 00:51:24,840 --> 00:51:28,720 promos, like she says out, like she doesn't really get, 947 00:51:28,720 --> 00:51:31,040 she really hasn't cut a lot of promos. 948 00:51:31,040 --> 00:51:33,880 Most of her stuff has been backstage segments. 949 00:51:33,880 --> 00:51:38,760 So in ringability, look, everything else she's got all that. 950 00:51:38,760 --> 00:51:42,760 This is her test to see if she can promo wise, carry a feud, 951 00:51:42,760 --> 00:51:46,640 carry a rivalry to make sure that we can put her on the main roster. 952 00:51:46,640 --> 00:51:49,520 Because I think maybe they're learning a little bit from the Saul 953 00:51:49,520 --> 00:51:51,760 Rook experiment, like we got to make sure, 954 00:51:51,760 --> 00:51:54,960 before we strap a rocket ship to her, 955 00:51:54,960 --> 00:52:00,960 she can carry herself in whatever weakness they think she has. 956 00:52:00,960 --> 00:52:02,560 I think this is the right move to kind of go, 957 00:52:02,560 --> 00:52:06,880 hey, we trust you that you're going to get better at this one week area. 958 00:52:06,880 --> 00:52:09,880 And let's just make sure you've proved us right. 959 00:52:09,880 --> 00:52:14,920 >> For me, Dr. Trey, I feel like the way I look at Kendall Gray is, 960 00:52:14,920 --> 00:52:18,720 a year from now July, 2027, I think she's on the main roster. 961 00:52:18,720 --> 00:52:24,040 The debut is, is she tearing up NXT in popular so much that she has a run 962 00:52:24,040 --> 00:52:27,680 for the next six months and then debut is in that first quarter of 2027, 963 00:52:27,680 --> 00:52:31,320 leading in the WrestleMania, where she's someone that they leave off 964 00:52:31,320 --> 00:52:36,040 until WrestleMania 43 passes, until stand and deliver passes and 965 00:52:36,040 --> 00:52:39,520 call her up in that second quarter of 2027. 966 00:52:39,520 --> 00:52:44,080 I think there's no way that she gets injured in NXT, 967 00:52:44,080 --> 00:52:45,800 like at the end of 2027. 968 00:52:45,800 --> 00:52:49,200 I think she is a main roster star in NXT right now. 969 00:52:49,200 --> 00:52:53,880 >> Do you think that at some point here in the next two months, 970 00:52:53,880 --> 00:52:55,080 they're going to have a run turn on her? 971 00:52:58,120 --> 00:53:01,560 I don't, I don't. 972 00:53:01,560 --> 00:53:04,200 It feels like they could, I don't though. 973 00:53:04,200 --> 00:53:10,480 >> Because as long as Red is Speed Champion, then it feels like they both have title bells, 974 00:53:10,480 --> 00:53:12,840 they're not going to play the professional Chelsea angle. 975 00:53:12,840 --> 00:53:14,480 >> They do that way too much in WWE. 976 00:53:14,480 --> 00:53:18,920 >> Yeah, but they do that in wrestling in general too much. 977 00:53:18,920 --> 00:53:19,120 >> Yeah. 978 00:53:19,120 --> 00:53:23,480 >> Somebody just, we saw it a little bit with Speedball and Kevin Knight. 979 00:53:23,480 --> 00:53:28,560 It's like it is kind of like professional Chelsea Rears is likely at another guy wants to be a star. 980 00:53:28,560 --> 00:53:32,920 It's just, I like Rensseln Claire. 981 00:53:32,920 --> 00:53:36,120 I think Rensseln Claire is a better heal than a baby face. 982 00:53:36,120 --> 00:53:41,680 But we're talking about that, if they pull the trigger low of vice, 983 00:53:41,680 --> 00:53:44,960 low of vice goes heal, we're going to be saying the same thing. 984 00:53:44,960 --> 00:53:48,120 So it's just, it's weird. 985 00:53:48,120 --> 00:53:52,480 And this is kind of now if that keeps us, I watch more triple A, 986 00:53:52,480 --> 00:53:54,640 is they almost ignore the triple A steps. 987 00:53:54,640 --> 00:53:59,520 So like maybe they turn low of vice, heal in NXT, but she's still a baby face when she goes to triple A. 988 00:53:59,520 --> 00:54:00,080 Who knows? 989 00:54:00,080 --> 00:54:04,400 But I think, but I do think, and I almost stand by this. 990 00:54:04,400 --> 00:54:12,720 I think Kendall Gray is the most gifted wrestler female that WWE has brought onto the roster in the last decade at least. 991 00:54:12,720 --> 00:54:14,000 >> Yeah, she's phenomenal. 992 00:54:14,000 --> 00:54:16,040 >> She's so good in the ring. 993 00:54:16,040 --> 00:54:22,440 I mean, it's like, and it was crazy as you know, you've had second generation females come through that roster. 994 00:54:22,440 --> 00:54:25,400 You know, Ava's the Ziya Brooksides. 995 00:54:25,400 --> 00:54:26,680 >> Ava. 996 00:54:26,680 --> 00:54:28,400 >> She's better than Ava. 997 00:54:28,400 --> 00:54:30,760 >> You said the rock starter? 998 00:54:30,760 --> 00:54:35,000 >> Well, she's a second generation person and she was just not a good in the ring. 999 00:54:35,000 --> 00:54:39,760 What I'm saying is you have a lot of second generation people come through there, there are females. 1000 00:54:39,760 --> 00:54:43,440 Not nearly as good as what Kendall Gray can do in the ring. 1001 00:54:43,440 --> 00:54:46,480 >> Ziya Brooksides, TNA knockouts champion, by the way. 1002 00:54:46,480 --> 00:54:48,440 >> Ariana Grace. 1003 00:54:48,440 --> 00:54:49,960 >> Ariana Grace, yeah. 1004 00:54:49,960 --> 00:54:52,680 >> No, I mean, Kendall Gray is prodigy. 1005 00:54:52,680 --> 00:54:56,920 And the last question here at Dr. Trey to wrap up this week's edition of the show. 1006 00:54:56,920 --> 00:55:00,920 I guess outside of Kendall Gray, who impressed you the most in NXT Great American Bash? 1007 00:55:00,920 --> 00:55:03,280 >> Great American Bash. 1008 00:55:03,280 --> 00:55:08,200 Ziya's like, they almost made her, I don't say the female Brock Lesnar, I mean, 1009 00:55:08,200 --> 00:55:10,160 because she has like an F5 variation. 1010 00:55:10,160 --> 00:55:16,240 But she has looked pretty dominant since she threw Saul Ruka off that stage or whatever. 1011 00:55:16,240 --> 00:55:19,280 >> She like reverted back to her character when she debuted. 1012 00:55:19,280 --> 00:55:20,640 >> Yeah, yeah. 1013 00:55:20,640 --> 00:55:27,440 So she's looking like the Ziya we all thought she was going to be, which I'm really happy about. 1014 00:55:27,440 --> 00:55:31,280 That was the one for me. 1015 00:55:31,280 --> 00:55:37,120 Like I said, the Tony D nervous of them just weird to me because I don't know. 1016 00:55:37,120 --> 00:55:44,640 Also, Tony D having that denim jacket with the leather sleeves reminds me of triple H returning from the hamstrings there. 1017 00:55:44,640 --> 00:55:47,520 Too much and maybe that's why I don't like, I don't know. 1018 00:55:47,520 --> 00:55:51,080 There's just something about Tony D right now that's not connecting with me. 1019 00:55:51,080 --> 00:55:54,240 And I was hoping for a challenge. 1020 00:55:54,240 --> 00:55:58,840 I also, I'm still not on the Mason Rook train yet. 1021 00:55:58,840 --> 00:56:05,640 But Tavy got Heights, I will say in Tavy Heights in losing, also we really did impress me. 1022 00:56:05,640 --> 00:56:11,160 I'm like, yeah, he's really gunned the ring and in a year he'll be challenging for the NXT Championship. 1023 00:56:11,160 --> 00:56:16,160 >> I have co people who impress me from the same match. 1024 00:56:16,160 --> 00:56:19,320 I am buying stock right now in Shiloh Hill and Tristan Angel's Doctor Train. 1025 00:56:19,320 --> 00:56:21,680 I think those guys could be stars in the company too. 1026 00:56:21,680 --> 00:56:28,840 >> I think Tristan Angel's is on the level of what Kitt Wilson could be as well. 1027 00:56:28,840 --> 00:56:34,240 The main roster just arrogant, brash, British guys for some reason, he just wants to smack. 1028 00:56:34,240 --> 00:56:40,520 And Shiloh Hill is just that, I don't want to say he's like in the Kevin Owens range, but 1029 00:56:40,520 --> 00:56:47,640 just that such a good blue collar guy that just connects with the audience really well. 1030 00:56:47,640 --> 00:56:51,600 I mean, if they were in a group of Shiloh and 1031 00:56:51,600 --> 00:56:56,800 who were the two other guys that were just tag team champions a few months back, the blue collar guys. 1032 00:56:56,800 --> 00:56:57,400 Hank and Tank. 1033 00:56:57,400 --> 00:56:58,160 >> Thank you, thank you. 1034 00:56:58,160 --> 00:57:02,560 >> You put Shiloh, Hank and Tank together on the main roster with Otis. 1035 00:57:02,560 --> 00:57:05,680 Oh my God, that would be the most fun baby face group of all time. 1036 00:57:05,680 --> 00:57:10,000 I would watch their stuff every day if you put those four guys together. 1037 00:57:10,000 --> 00:57:17,760 But even if you just did Hank and Shiloh, that just seems like a fun trio of guys to just follow around on 1038 00:57:17,760 --> 00:57:18,640 interesting things. 1039 00:57:18,640 --> 00:57:20,320 Those guys are just fun love guys. 1040 00:57:20,320 --> 00:57:23,840 So yeah, and say Kwan impress me as well. 1041 00:57:23,840 --> 00:57:27,320 >> He did, he was a great, and I think DL Alex did a great job as well. 1042 00:57:27,320 --> 00:57:33,040 I thought it was a very good show for NXT to kind of like cement their new era overall. 1043 00:57:33,040 --> 00:57:35,320 I think Tristan Angel's put a little bit of size on him. 1044 00:57:35,320 --> 00:57:38,800 I think this is a guy that you could be looking at as a champion in like five years. 1045 00:57:39,800 --> 00:57:42,600 Yeah, Shiloh has a great connection with the audience. 1046 00:57:42,600 --> 00:57:47,240 He's really become such a great character after anything I saw of him in LFG. 1047 00:57:47,240 --> 00:57:49,840 So there you go, NXT Grand American Bash. 1048 00:57:49,840 --> 00:57:54,440 Next week's the show, we'll cover obviously things that are going on the world professional wrestling. 1049 00:57:54,440 --> 00:57:57,640 We'll
