- 0:00Speaker 1: And it's time for us to go to God in prayer.
- 0:02Speaker 1: And as always I ask that you join along with me,
- 0:05Speaker 1: Sherry Mackie in prayer. You know, I think sometimes about
- 0:10Speaker 1: our scars, those wounds, and sometimes those wounds that we
- 0:15Speaker 1: don't even tell anybody about it. I want to pray
- 0:17Speaker 1: about those scars and wounds today. Heavenly Father, we come
- 0:19Speaker 1: before you today with hearts that have been through battles.
- 0:23Speaker 1: God a soul, God that carries scars, reminders of wounds
- 0:28Speaker 1: from the past. Some wounds were caused by others, by betrayal,
- 0:32Speaker 1: by abandonment, by abuse, by neglect, and God, if we
- 0:36Speaker 1: can be honest, some were self inflicted. Poor choices, silent regrets,
- 0:41Speaker 1: shame we've carried for far too long. But Lord, you
- 0:45Speaker 1: are the God who heals. You said in your words
- 0:48Speaker 1: that you are Jehovah Rapha. You're the Lord who heals
- 0:51Speaker 1: all our diseases, who binds up the broken hearted, who
- 0:54Speaker 1: restores the soul. So here we are God, not with
- 0:57Speaker 1: empty words, but with hearts crying out. Heal us, O, Lord,
- 1:01Speaker 1: heal the places in us. God. The time has in
- 1:04Speaker 1: touch Hell the parts of us that still flinch when
- 1:07Speaker 1: we're triggered, that still bleed when pokeden, that still ach
- 1:11Speaker 1: God in silence, Lord, the scars may not be visible
- 1:15Speaker 1: to others, but you see them. You know the tears
- 1:18Speaker 1: we've cried when no one else was looking. You know
- 1:21Speaker 1: the nights we couldn't sleep, the days we put on
- 1:24Speaker 1: a smile while we were breaking inside. But God, we
- 1:28Speaker 1: believe that what wounded us will not define us. But
- 1:32Speaker 1: we believe God that the blood of Jesus was not
- 1:35Speaker 1: only for our sins, but for our healing. God, you
- 1:38Speaker 1: said in your word in Isaiah fifty three and five
- 1:41Speaker 1: that by his stripes we are healed. So let those
- 1:44Speaker 1: stripes cover our story. God, let your love right over
- 1:47Speaker 1: the pain. Let your mercy erase the lives of the enemy. God,
- 1:52Speaker 1: we believed about ourselves because of what we've been through. God,
- 1:56Speaker 1: Today we surrender the anger that we've been holding on to.
- 1:59Speaker 1: We surrender the bitterness that has hardened our heart. God,
- 2:02Speaker 1: we release the guilt, the shame, the fear of it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Our Lord, we place it at your feet. God. Let
- 2:07Speaker 1: your healing flow into the deepest parts of our hearts.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Heal us, God, so that we can love again, so
- 2:13Speaker 1: that we can trust again, So that we could dream again.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Heal us God, so we can forgive fully, not just
- 2:19Speaker 1: with our lips, God, but from our souls. Heal us God,
- 2:22Speaker 1: so that we can walk in freedom. No longer change
- 2:25Speaker 1: to yesterday. God, we speak healing over our minds, that
- 2:28Speaker 1: we will no longer replay the trauma over and over
- 2:31Speaker 1: and over again. God, we speak healing over our emotions,
- 2:35Speaker 1: that we will no longer be hijacked by the past.
- 2:38Speaker 1: God we speak healing over our spirit, that we can rise,
- 2:41Speaker 1: that we can be renewed, that we can be whole,
- 2:44Speaker 1: that we can be restored. God, turn our scars into testimonies.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Let our pain birth purpose. Let our healing become hope
- 2:51Speaker 1: for somebody else. Lord, thank you that you never waste
- 2:55Speaker 1: a wound. And even now, even God, in this moment,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you're working all things together for our good. Lord. We
- 3:02Speaker 1: may still have the scarn, but the pain no longer
- 3:05Speaker 1: has us. God, we declare today that we are healed,
- 3:08Speaker 1: that we are whole, that we are free, in the
- 3:11Speaker 1: name of Jesus
