- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, hey, hello there, welcome to another episode of
- 0:03Speaker 1: Lynching Tacos Off the Air podcast. I'm Pat lanch Taco Bob.
- 0:07Speaker 1: What are you doing over there, buddy?
- 0:09Speaker 2: Looking at the same thing I do every Thursday when
- 0:11Speaker 2: you ask. I'm looking at the on and off the
- 0:13Speaker 2: air list of different things to uh discuss, Like you know,
- 0:18Speaker 2: I just have I have different things that when they happen,
- 0:21Speaker 2: I go, ah shit, I need to write that down
- 0:24Speaker 2: for uh, you know, for maybe the podcast, because there's
- 0:26Speaker 2: certain things that are podcasts worthy or airworthy, like that
- 0:30Speaker 2: one where I remember by my driver's license, had to
- 0:33Speaker 2: go get a new driver's license. We'll actually take the
- 0:36Speaker 2: picture and get the renewed one. And I'm just because
- 0:40Speaker 2: mine expired. It wasn't because the star any shit. But
- 0:43Speaker 2: uh and I had a booger on my nose. Yeah,
- 0:46Speaker 2: visible booger. I'm like, that's stuff that can only happen
- 0:50Speaker 2: to me.
- 0:50Speaker 1: When when when did that happen? Uh?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Let me see if it tells me in the note
- 0:56Speaker 2: is that recent Uh oh, I did have a good
- 1:00Speaker 2: topic out of there, That's what it was. It wasn't
- 1:02Speaker 2: only the booger of my nose when this happened about
- 1:05Speaker 2: a month ago, and.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You haven't brought that up since.
- 1:09Speaker 2: No, but tomorrow.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It's not every day you go and get a license
- 1:13Speaker 1: photo And how's this looking? You get a booger in
- 1:16Speaker 1: your head?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but and I thought of redoing it because I
- 1:19Speaker 2: don't know if she noticed or if I'm just a flawcatcher,
- 1:22Speaker 2: but I thought I redoing I go, who cares? You
- 1:25Speaker 2: know what I'm saying at this stage of my life?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Oh so you kept can I see it? Do you
- 1:30Speaker 1: have it with you? No?
- 1:31Speaker 2: I don't care about license, but there is a topic
- 1:36Speaker 2: in there for later for on the air, for the record.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I just realized that. Okay, yeah, so that's what that's
- 1:44Speaker 2: what the list is.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well I did start.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I think that what we need to do with all
- 1:49Speaker 2: the crazy stuff that's happened to you and myself and
- 1:52Speaker 2: our lives and all these crazy stories, I think that
- 1:56Speaker 2: we need to rehash some stories that we either have
- 2:01Speaker 2: it ever told on the air or we have but
- 2:04Speaker 2: it was like twenty years ago. And uh so I'm
- 2:07Speaker 2: gonna start writing those down in my notes, like I
- 2:10Speaker 2: have one here for another day and uh and then
- 2:14Speaker 2: I'll write them down. Okay, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I got you, yeah, because I mean we've had some
- 2:19Speaker 2: really cool stuff, you know, like when we just randomly say,
- 2:22Speaker 2: you know, we sat on stage of Metallica and it
- 2:25Speaker 2: was awesome, and then I got off to go smoke
- 2:28Speaker 2: a sig because I was smoking on sig and they
- 2:31Speaker 2: had all this pyro and the guy goes, dude, you
- 2:34Speaker 2: can't smoke up here. Go down there. And I go
- 2:36Speaker 2: down there and they walked me out of the gate
- 2:38Speaker 2: and then I couldn't get back in. I'm sitting next
- 2:40Speaker 2: to the side stage of Metallica. Obviously they can't hear
- 2:44Speaker 2: me and I'm yelling.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That was a while ago.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. That was a good show. That was
- 2:52Speaker 2: a olymp Biscuit Creed and Metallica.
- 2:56Speaker 1: No, it was Metallica, Avenge Sevenfold and Volbeat.
- 2:59Speaker 2: No, it was the one before that Metallica of Alby
- 3:04Speaker 2: and a seven X was at the Citrus Bowl. This
- 3:07Speaker 2: one was at the tinker Field stage thing. I don't know, No,
- 3:12Speaker 2: it was it. It was at Citrus Bowl too, But
- 3:14Speaker 2: those are two different Metallica shows. The one that I
- 3:17Speaker 2: was side stage was was the Limp Biscuit show. I'm
- 3:23Speaker 2: talking about, not recent tour. I'm talking about the one
- 3:25Speaker 2: a long ass time ago when we went in and
- 3:29Speaker 2: hung obviously with the guys from Creed because we know
- 3:31Speaker 2: all them, and we chilled in their uh in their
- 3:34Speaker 2: green room.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Long time ago, Creed played with Limp Biscuit and Metallica.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I'll look it up. Don't worry the uh yeah, Okay,
- 3:45Speaker 2: I see you did to get that mind checked. I know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I just know bits and pieces, and I have little
- 3:52Speaker 2: parts all over my brain that are like storage lockers,
- 3:56Speaker 2: you know, like an Amazon wall of lockers for returns.
- 3:59Speaker 2: But each one of those little thing has amazing content
- 4:04Speaker 2: in it. Limp, go ahead, dude.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm just I'm trying to think of I don't remember Creeping, Okay.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I do remember the Limp Biscuit, and I thought it
- 4:16Speaker 1: I thought it was Lincoln Park, Yeah it was.
- 4:20Speaker 2: There are no longer upcoming concerts.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I don't.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I know that two thousand and three summer Sanitarium tour.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And who always on that one. I can't remember that.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Limp Biscuit. And I'm telling you, I'm almost sure it
- 4:34Speaker 2: was the guys from from Creed too, because.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I thought it was Lincoln Park.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Now I'm just again, a storage locker. A wall of
- 4:44Speaker 2: storage lockers is my brain?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, Hey, so how about this announcement from Publics,
- 4:53Speaker 1: where we know many of you shop. We shop at
- 4:56Speaker 1: Public's as one of our grocery stores. They announced, uh,
- 5:00Speaker 1: you know, since the law has changed here in Florida,
- 5:03Speaker 1: they're going to follow the law and allow open carry
- 5:06Speaker 1: of guns in their their stores in Florida. And it
- 5:11Speaker 1: is all over the news trying to get you know,
- 5:13Speaker 1: blown up into a big to do here, so I
- 5:17Speaker 1: thought i'd bring it up. Is this really a big
- 5:19Speaker 1: to do?
- 5:21Speaker 2: I don't think it is.
- 5:24Speaker 1: What is I guess I'm trying to understand exactly.
- 5:28Speaker 2: What most gun owners will tell you. They they even
- 5:32Speaker 2: if you're able to have open carry, they're still going
- 5:35Speaker 2: to conceal it anyway.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Right, which is why I'm I'm like, you'll get people
- 5:40Speaker 1: who will get really all wrapped up about this just
- 5:43Speaker 1: even when you say the word gun period.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 1: And we're not. We're not trying to start a gun
- 5:48Speaker 1: control That's why we're not.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was glad we didn't talk about it on the air.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I just I just we're doing it off there.
- 5:55Speaker 1: The the whole thing with with the fear of guns
- 5:59Speaker 1: and guns safety and all that isn't the people who
- 6:04Speaker 1: lawfully are carrying. It's the people who don't follow the law.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It could give a rats ass, and they don't care
- 6:10Speaker 1: what the law is about open carry or not.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, because they're usually going to go out with that
- 6:15Speaker 2: gun anyway, if.
- 6:16Speaker 1: They're right, and if they're they're going to use it
- 6:18Speaker 1: and shoot and try to kill you. There's no law
- 6:21Speaker 1: that one way or the other is going to change
- 6:23Speaker 1: that fact. So it's like those are the ones to
- 6:27Speaker 1: be concerned about, and in my opinion anyway, and still
- 6:31Speaker 1: need to be concerned about them. But I mean, at
- 6:35Speaker 1: least the dynamic changes here where those types might give
- 6:38Speaker 1: it a second thought that hey, if I try to
- 6:41Speaker 1: pull this crap now, there's going to be plenty of
- 6:44Speaker 1: people who might step in and try to put an
- 6:46Speaker 1: end to it, you know what I'm saying.
- 6:49Speaker 2: So that's where somebody just texted in earlier this morning
- 6:53Speaker 2: when we briefly mentioned it and said they're just making
- 6:57Speaker 2: themselves a target. Feel how you feel on it. You know,
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'm fine with it, Yeah, I pointed out, I think
- 7:07Speaker 2: I think it's good because if somebody else starts shooting
- 7:11Speaker 2: up in the sub line like happened one time. I
- 7:13Speaker 2: think over a chicken sandwich or chicken chick tender sub good.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Maybe there's somebody two steps behind that can put one
- 7:20Speaker 2: in the back of their head and drop them.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's it's it's interesting. It'll be uh, it'll
- 7:26Speaker 1: take it. And again, I don't know how how frequent
- 7:28Speaker 1: of a sight this is gonna be.
- 7:30Speaker 2: It's not like you gotta have this old timer walking
- 7:33Speaker 2: in with a big side piece like this, watching and
- 7:37Speaker 2: spinning that there.
- 7:40Speaker 1: It's oh my god, one on each chip. Yeah, the
- 7:47Speaker 1: old Wild West, that's what it is, all right.
- 7:50Speaker 2: He told me, I can up and care.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I've been waiting for this forever.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Really, you will see that dude right over there. He's
- 7:55Speaker 2: got a stolen nine millimeter with the serial number etched off,
- 7:59Speaker 2: so you he ain't worried about it.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You're doing the surf festival this weekend. How many years
- 8:04Speaker 1: has this been now, they've been doing the surffest at
- 8:07Speaker 1: Cocoa Beach the fortieth forty years, Yeah, forty years, and.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I mean I remember you. You've been a part of
- 8:15Speaker 2: it too. The after hurricane that was a long time ago.
- 8:19Speaker 2: That's I think late nineties. Yeah, nineties. Yeah, it's a
- 8:24Speaker 2: it's a great time. And if for anybody listening on
- 8:26Speaker 2: the podcast who's never been to the National Kidney Foundation surffest,
- 8:30Speaker 2: we used to do it in September, but it was
- 8:33Speaker 2: too busy of a weekend on Labor Day weekend, so
- 8:36Speaker 2: they said, and the waves were hit and miss. Yeah
- 8:40Speaker 2: so or hit or miss. So now they said, you
- 8:43Speaker 2: know what, let's do a lass busy weekend. It got
- 8:45Speaker 2: bumped to October because of our hurricane canceled it, so
- 8:49Speaker 2: they bumped at October and they said, you know what,
- 8:51Speaker 2: We're going to leave it on this weekend, callum this
- 8:53Speaker 2: day weekend.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Not to mention, uh well, it's it's like a pretty
- 8:58Speaker 1: good chance for some waves this weekend. Yep.
- 9:00Speaker 2: And with it being pro and am the any of
- 9:05Speaker 2: the amateurs that are surfing it are good, really good,
- 9:08Speaker 2: and the pros obviously are pro, so they can make
- 9:13Speaker 2: a hell of a you know, picture for you out
- 9:16Speaker 2: of even just if it happens to be sloppier on Saturday,
- 9:19Speaker 2: it's looking like a little bit bump well obviously choppier
- 9:22Speaker 2: on Saturday, but then Sunday it looks like the winds
- 9:25Speaker 2: might kick around for cleaner surf. It's gonna be a
- 9:28Speaker 2: cool yeah Saturday, I mean Sunday, and then Monday's finals
- 9:33Speaker 2: should be cool.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh so you got that.
- 9:37Speaker 2: The other it's been a free event. Like we were
- 9:40Speaker 2: saying the other day, sorry got you off.
- 9:43Speaker 1: The other thing that just this is like watching a
- 9:47Speaker 1: slow moving car crash. This Bill Belichick situation in North Carolina,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what a cluster. The latest now is these hot rumors
- 9:54Speaker 1: that he's looking for a well, an escape, which the
- 10:00Speaker 1: escape it's in the contract. He could pay the university
- 10:03Speaker 1: what is it, a million dollars to be released, but
- 10:08Speaker 1: if they fire him then they have to pay him
- 10:11Speaker 1: millions of dollars.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Like thirty to fifty or something huge. Nob.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so behind the scenes, apparently the players hate his guts.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Whereas you know, the bill of goods they originally sold
- 10:27Speaker 1: as recruits, were, Oh, you're gonna get like one of
- 10:29Speaker 1: the all time great coaches to learn from, and we're
- 10:32Speaker 1: gonna build this powerhouse team here in North Carolina. And
- 10:37Speaker 1: none of that has panned out, and it's been and.
- 10:40Speaker 2: All those players are getting grumpy old Bill in the
- 10:42Speaker 2: in the locker room.
- 10:44Speaker 1: So you got a it's a whatever the public faces
- 10:48Speaker 1: of this. Behind the scenes, it's apparently a lot worse.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It's a ship, it's a shit show. You have the
- 10:53Speaker 1: players not only do they.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Hate him, the the ad and all their people.
- 11:00Speaker 1: The athletic department people did not want to make this higher.
- 11:03Speaker 1: It was the boosters and the board members that that
- 11:07Speaker 1: pulled this crap off and financed hiring him.
- 11:10Speaker 2: So so players don't like him, Athletic department don't like them,
- 11:14Speaker 2: some say from rumors, I've heard from some pretty connected
- 11:18Speaker 2: people that athletic directors are happy that he's crap in
- 11:24Speaker 2: the bed does.
- 11:24Speaker 1: They're they're they're now have the ability to say, see,
- 11:28Speaker 1: I told you so, don't be sticking your noses into
- 11:30Speaker 1: what my job is. And that's the hire these these
- 11:33Speaker 1: coaches in the different So yeah, as much of a
- 11:37Speaker 1: hype story that was before it all you know, started
- 11:39Speaker 1: to play out once the games were underway and counted
- 11:43Speaker 1: boys that come crashing down. Now, how about this other
- 11:46Speaker 1: theory one of our well connected sources has floated.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I think this, and again, nobody else has said this
- 11:55Speaker 2: besides this one guy. I think this is legit and
- 11:58Speaker 2: would be a good move.
- 12:00Speaker 1: To save face. Suddenly there's an opportunity to coach again
- 12:05Speaker 1: in the NFL in South Florida, which looks like will
- 12:09Speaker 1: be a very likely scenario. It's just a matter of what.
- 12:14Speaker 1: As Mike McDaniels with the Dolphins his time, he's just
- 12:19Speaker 1: on borrowed time, barring some complete miraculous turnaround, which I
- 12:24Speaker 1: just I don't I don't see that. I don't think
- 12:26Speaker 1: most Dolphin fans do either.
- 12:27Speaker 2: He's not even on a hot seat. He's on an
- 12:29Speaker 2: electric chair fire seat.
- 12:32Speaker 1: If Steven Ross, the owner of the Dolphins, decides he
- 12:35Speaker 1: wants Bill Belichick a flashy higher is that.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I think it's a great fit.
- 12:42Speaker 1: When this this source of ours brought this up, I said,
- 12:49Speaker 1: And then I stopped for a second, and I like,
- 12:53Speaker 1: just stop started thinking about all the stuff going on
- 12:57Speaker 1: around Belichick. Jordan Hudson love it, Miami.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a part of the puzzle that I think
- 13:04Speaker 2: would would attract it.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I just think since she's entered this whole situation, his
- 13:10Speaker 1: football mind is just gone.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Mine would be too, right, No, I get it, the
- 13:15Speaker 2: pig skin, I would care abouts.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Right there, right, yeah, right, But if you're talking about it,
- 13:20Speaker 1: you know, a multimillion dollar professional franchise are you know
- 13:24Speaker 1: you want to roll the dice on that that he's
- 13:26Speaker 1: more preoccupied with.
- 13:28Speaker 2: You know, I would roll the dice on that. And
- 13:31Speaker 2: the reason why you'd think of what they have there
- 13:35Speaker 2: right now? Weapon wise, you have a quarterback who's pretty
- 13:39Speaker 2: damn good Intua. He's an athlete. Sure, he has you know,
- 13:45Speaker 2: multiple concussions. All that aside, Tyreek's gone for the season.
- 13:48Speaker 2: You have a good quarterback. Well, if if this theory
- 13:52Speaker 2: went through, which it probably won't, but this wouldn't be
- 13:55Speaker 2: until next season, right, you would have Tyreek back, you
- 13:58Speaker 2: would have Waddle, you'd have a chan, you'd have all
- 14:02Speaker 2: those badass weapons. With a coach like Belichick.
- 14:09Speaker 1: No, it's it's it's it's plausible, It absolutely is.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I think Belichick just pay the one million dollar fine
- 14:16Speaker 2: next year. Hey, you know, guys, it didn't work out.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Your players suck and they're gonna suck. That's for hating me, guys.
- 14:23Speaker 1: The The other thing to remember in college football, if
- 14:27Speaker 1: if they decided to, you know, if Belichick leaves in season,
- 14:32Speaker 1: the transfer portal immediately opens for the players on that
- 14:36Speaker 1: team for thirty days.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's that's why, you know, if you make
- 14:42Speaker 1: a coaching change in college these days, in the in
- 14:45Speaker 1: the season, you potentially are just opening up the barn
- 14:50Speaker 1: doors to let you know.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Go ahead, Yeah, all you guys big you know, pretty
- 14:55Speaker 2: good player, right, I promise to have a.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Great I think that's that's fair. I think that's fair
- 15:00Speaker 1: because they are not getting what they signed up for, So.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I want to see what's gonna happen for all.
- 15:09Speaker 1: This could be interesting, could be interesting.
- 15:11Speaker 2: You can hear Jordan getting in his ear. Come on, Billy,
- 15:15Speaker 2: we would we would have so much fun there. She
- 15:17Speaker 2: would get pork sideways to Saturday by all these Miami
- 15:21Speaker 2: you know.
- 15:24Speaker 1: H South Beach guidos. You know, by the way, she's
- 15:31Speaker 1: still twenty four years old eternally twenty four?
- 15:35Speaker 2: Is that like a running jokes?
- 15:36Speaker 1: I just say every time you hear her day benches
- 15:39Speaker 1: twenty four year old Jordan Hudson, Bill Belichick's girlfriend, And
- 15:43Speaker 1: I just I'm like, it seems like she's been twenty
- 15:46Speaker 1: four for like two years. Does she has an expiration date?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Like Leo DiCaprio a girlfriend style? I think Leonardo DiCaprio.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I think he started dating her when she was like
- 16:02Speaker 2: twenty three.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I think it was younger than that. From what my
- 16:06Speaker 1: understanding is when she came into his world. Huh, how
- 16:09Speaker 1: long they've officially been an item? I don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I remember that picture with him into the shirt off
- 16:17Speaker 2: out on the little porch of that place.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Now we're not one hundred percent sure that was her place.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That might have been somebody else that he was exiting.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Shame of walkwise. A couple of years ago.
- 16:30Speaker 2: She started dating Belgit just give it to me. You
- 16:38Speaker 2: know who I'm talking about Google nineteen or twenty, that's.
- 16:42Speaker 1: What That's what I'm saying. I know that's what you're saying.
- 16:45Speaker 2: But it's looking like that with the Google machine too, right,
- 16:49Speaker 2: But the actual relationship started in twenty public. That's when
- 16:58Speaker 2: he split up from his previous old friend.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, these are just you know, he's look
- 17:08Speaker 1: at this stuff and shake my head sometimes. Man, great,
- 17:11Speaker 1: if you're him, you think his life's really good right now? No, Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: it's a steaming pile right now. I know it is.
- 17:21Speaker 2: But you know how great his life is. He can
- 17:23Speaker 2: end that steaming pile with one million dollars. You know
- 17:26Speaker 2: how many millions that guy has from all these Super bowls?
- 17:29Speaker 2: So here's your one million take it. Hey, Miami, we've
- 17:32Speaker 2: already talked about this deal. It's gonna happen.
- 17:35Speaker 1: You got that ego in there, though. That's going to
- 17:37Speaker 1: be a blow to the ego to know that the
- 17:38Speaker 1: North Carolina thing was a complete failure. If you're the
- 17:41Speaker 1: one who instigates the departure.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd take that blemish for all these rings I've
- 17:46Speaker 2: got sure.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I know I agree with you. I agree with you.
- 17:50Speaker 1: All right. Did you have anything else you wanted to
- 17:53Speaker 1: discuss this week or Google?
- 17:56Speaker 2: No, Hey man, I'm checking out different stuff right now. Important.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So we got that verified.
- 18:02Speaker 1: By the way, I'm gonna ask for some help from
- 18:04Speaker 1: fellow dog lovers out there.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Currently twenty four until pat March fifth. Okay, so now
- 18:11Speaker 2: we know that date, let's see if it doesn't change.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Hey, somebody out there, if you're a passionate dog owner,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I think I briefly mentioned this. So we have a
- 18:22Speaker 1: new dog we adopted a couple months ago. His name's Otis.
- 18:25Speaker 1: He's cool. We love him. Rescue dog. He's spent the
- 18:29Speaker 1: first two years of his life in.
- 18:32Speaker 2: A rescue is he still barking at the pool.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That's what I wanted to bring up. This is the
- 18:36Speaker 1: one thing we just can't seem to solve. I've never
- 18:39Speaker 1: seen anything like this. I haven't talked to anybody who's.
- 18:41Speaker 2: He thinks it's another dog the reflection.
- 18:44Speaker 1: No, no, that's not it. You know, the when the
- 18:48Speaker 1: pool's on, the water's moving and stuff the waves. He
- 18:53Speaker 1: just he has this fascination. You let him out back
- 18:57Speaker 1: and he immediately goes to the edge of the pool
- 18:59Speaker 1: and start just barking relentlessly. And I literally have to
- 19:03Speaker 1: step between him and the pool and get him to
- 19:07Speaker 1: move away, or go out back and do his business,
- 19:10Speaker 1: or get back into the house because at some point
- 19:12Speaker 1: this has got to give, because it's gonna drive the
- 19:14Speaker 1: neighbors effing crazy. Yeah. I just if any of you
- 19:19Speaker 1: have ever encountered something or have a suggestion as to
- 19:22Speaker 1: what this may be other than the dogs just got
- 19:24Speaker 1: a little bit of a screw loose, which you know,
- 19:26Speaker 1: we all have a little screw loose at times. I'm
- 19:30Speaker 1: all ears. I am so.
- 19:33Speaker 2: If you he's barking at otis is barking at the
- 19:36Speaker 2: pool water and you walk, I'm picturing your back area
- 19:40Speaker 2: where the pool is a fence, there's a screen. If
- 19:42Speaker 2: you open up the screen to indoor, say, come on, Otis,
- 19:44Speaker 2: would he run to you? No Ah, that sucks.
- 19:47Speaker 1: No, yeah, you got it, I have to I He
- 19:50Speaker 1: goes immediately and starts the barking thing. So I mean,
- 19:54Speaker 1: if I'm in a time crunch now, I need to
- 19:57Speaker 1: take him out back. I'll put him on a leash
- 19:59Speaker 1: and walk him out through the screen door to get
- 20:01Speaker 1: him outside and take the whole pool thing out of
- 20:04Speaker 1: the equation. But you know, if I'm just opening up
- 20:07Speaker 1: to let him out like you would hope you could
- 20:09Speaker 1: just let him out back in a fenced area. No,
- 20:11Speaker 1: he's going straight to the edge of that pool and barking,
- 20:14Speaker 1: bark and bark until I stop him.
- 20:16Speaker 2: You should have. He was unfortunate. He might have been
- 20:19Speaker 2: abused by, you know, a bad experience. I know he swims.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You said he's been in the he's been in the
- 20:25Speaker 1: animal shelter his whole life. That he's never gotten born there.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I don't know about that exactly. He was probably born somewhere.
- 20:32Speaker 1: There was some asshole who maybe threw him forcefully.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I don't know any but he goes in the pool
- 20:39Speaker 2: with you guys. No oh, I thought he goes in
- 20:41Speaker 2: the pool with you guys, though, Nope.
- 20:43Speaker 1: He'll step onto the steps. He likes playing in the hose.
- 20:46Speaker 1: He doesn't. He's no problem with water. It's just he's
- 20:50Speaker 1: fascinated with just the side of the pool and he
- 20:52Speaker 1: relentlessly barks at So I don't need an answer right now.
- 20:56Speaker 1: If any of you want to hit me later after
- 20:58Speaker 1: the fact, you know, text us, email, Facebook, whatever, I'd
- 21:03Speaker 1: love some.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Have you ever called a pet place and asked no,
- 21:07Speaker 2: or a vet?
- 21:08Speaker 1: You have a vet? Yeah? Hey, that vet.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And I'm not saying your vet specifically, but I know
- 21:13Speaker 2: with my any vet is being paid a lot of
- 21:16Speaker 2: money as well. Get some out of them.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I'll ask him next time we visit if we haven't
- 21:21Speaker 1: got it resolved by them. But other than that, he's,
- 21:23Speaker 1: you know, assimilated great into the house and he's a
- 21:25Speaker 1: good dog. He's friendly and you know, have.
- 21:28Speaker 2: You tried to get him to come into the pool,
- 21:30Speaker 2: like come on?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, he's just just doesn't have any interest in that.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 21:34Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I mean, if you're in that pool, go come on, buddy,
- 21:37Speaker 2: come on man.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Oh that's it. If we're in the pool, yeah, no
- 21:41Speaker 1: barking at the pool.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Maybe that's what he's saying, get in the pool.
- 21:48Speaker 1: It's weird. It's just weird, that's all I had. I
- 21:51Speaker 1: just I wanted to put that out there because I
- 21:53Speaker 1: know sometimes a lot of you have experienced with this
- 21:56Speaker 1: stuff and love to hear what you think.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Uh to to fire at the DM at the tex line,
- 22:04Speaker 2: not the dog with somebody who said givers. Let me
- 22:07Speaker 2: put it to you this way. I've been carrying. This
- 22:10Speaker 2: is to do with the open.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Open actually open carry.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been carrying concealed twenty five years. I've been
- 22:17Speaker 2: standing behind these anti gun people in line for a
- 22:21Speaker 2: long time. They are welcome because that's somebody that's covering
- 22:26Speaker 2: your ass right.
- 22:27Speaker 1: And that was one of the points we were trying
- 22:29Speaker 1: to make. It's like it's people who are freaked out
- 22:31Speaker 1: now that open carry is permitted in Florida. It's not
- 22:36Speaker 1: like there weren't guns in places where you've been before
- 22:40Speaker 1: that you just didn't see them, as he points out,
- 22:42Speaker 1: And that's that's right. And the other thing. The other
- 22:45Speaker 1: interesting thing here is, you know, publics, if they wanted to,
- 22:49Speaker 1: they could say we don't want guns in the store.
- 22:51Speaker 1: They're a private business and they're they're legally allowed to say,
- 22:55Speaker 1: you know, we don't want those in our store. But
- 22:58Speaker 1: their point is that's not the law. The law on Floridas,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you can open Kerry. We're going to comply with the law.
- 23:04Speaker 1: That's where their stance is as of today. Who knows,
- 23:07Speaker 1: you know, because you get the media trying to will
- 23:11Speaker 1: the media knows which buttons when you push, get get
- 23:14Speaker 1: the reactions, and that the media could give a rats
- 23:18Speaker 1: ass about the issues. All they want is clicks and eyeballs.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Just remember that, understood Clemson eyeballs And that's coming from
- 23:24Speaker 2: two guys in the media.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Right, That's all that's all they want.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And uh and they're gonna go with the shiny object.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Oh you know what, we got this Benjamin Crump in
- 23:34Speaker 2: town trying to do it. We got to give it
- 23:36Speaker 2: news coverage. Are you the same news people that like
- 23:40Speaker 2: all the other ones that were out at that ride
- 23:42Speaker 2: for the grand opening, celebrating it exactly, And now you're
- 23:46Speaker 2: showing all this Crump bullshit That makes me so sick.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I just look at it. I go whatever that whole
- 23:53Speaker 1: situation there, I just you said it this morning. You
- 23:56Speaker 1: got a guy who has a spinal condition in a
- 23:59Speaker 1: freaking wheelchair who decides he wants to ride a roller.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Coaster he dies from from trauma.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Well, why did he go on it?
- 24:14Speaker 2: I'm gold I'm just glad it has not been in
- 24:16Speaker 2: the news the last couple of days. And Ben Crump, now,
- 24:19Speaker 2: as you said, can go to Disneyland where somebody.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Had a haunted mansion heart attack. Yeah, maybe you're gonna
- 24:26Speaker 1: latch onto that one. Yeah, good lord? All right, I
- 24:30Speaker 1: think we uh in the exit stage. Well all right,
- 24:33Speaker 1: right now, seriously, if you, if any of you fellow
- 24:36Speaker 1: pet owners, have any suggestions on what we can try
- 24:40Speaker 1: to break this bad habit of our new dog, I
- 24:44Speaker 1: would love the feedback.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Maybe you just treat train him. I know you're not
- 24:50Speaker 2: to do that. That'll piss you know, like dog trainers
- 24:53Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 24:53Speaker 1: That you may just take some time for him to
- 24:55Speaker 1: fully feel, you know, comfortable in his new digs. We'll see.
- 24:59Speaker 1: We're patient when it comes to with the pets.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Are your neighbor's patient? Right? No?
- 25:05Speaker 1: I know the neighbors.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I know two of them that are very cool. Yeah,
- 25:08Speaker 2: they're going to handle. But I'm sure there's got to
- 25:10Speaker 2: be somebody going shut that dog, Somebody like me exactly.
- 25:17Speaker 1: All right. Hey, thanks for checking out the Off the
- 25:18Speaker 1: Air Podcast. You all have yourselves a great day, and
- 25:21Speaker 1: we'll do it again soon.
