- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Okay, so let's be serious for just a second here on this, because you were talking about the baked bean thing and you were telling us the new flavors that are coming out.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: I know I can't be alone on this.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Of all the things that are there, here's what I'm gonna take of the sides at a cookout that you might traditionally see.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Because you were saying now they're gonna have dill pickle, apple pie.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: The weirdest one is the bomb-pop, the uh rocket pop looking flavor.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm trying to picture that, what that would be like.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: No, that makes my teeth hurt.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: So I would personally myself, off the cookout, try one spoonful of the dill pickle because I'm curious.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: I expect the apple pie baked beans to be in par with baked beans because you're you're already mixing a lot of similar things in, minus brown sugar.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, now you're adding chunks of apple.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: The bomb pop one, I don't know.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: But but if we were at the cookout and all the metal trays were laid out there, yep.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: If it's a potato salad that's a little fancier, you know, like using the red potatoes.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love that one.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: I'm in on that.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Uh I will do both pasta salads, both the macaroni with the mayo, and I'll do the one that's more the Italian dressing version.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Love both of those.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Me too.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: I might even go with a little bit of coleslaw.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: But uh when you but that's got a short shelf life out in the sunshine.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Um, so but when you get to the tray of the baked beans, even if you've laid bacon on top of it, who eats does anybody say I'm going for beans?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Just my dad.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Are you serious?
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, maybe it's that generation.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: He's a bean guy.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't even I never buy them anymore.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I don't make them anymore.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: But specific at a cookout, that's the one.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: It's like, are you looking to blow up your your guest bathroom?
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Your friend's bathroom in an hour.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, no.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: But speaking of, hold on, I gotta get something.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: But please text us.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, go ahead.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say, please text us if yeah, yay or nay to the big of all the things that you can have at a uh at a cookout, you know, all the different sides.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Do you ever go for the baked beans?
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Because I never ever do.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: No, no.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: So last night you had mentioned the the the coleslaw having the short shelf life and being out in the sun too long.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: So last night I went to dinner with a girlfriend all the way out in Hammondsport, and it was awesome, but I didn't eat all of it.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Got a little to go thing.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Well, then I put it in my backseat and I ended up meeting up with Zach after our dinner because me and my girlfriend's dinner ended, you know, pretty early.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: So I was like, oh, you know, I would you know, I would like to see my boyfriend.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: So I went and met up with him.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Well, I forgot that I had leftovers in my back seat and until this morning when I went to put my work bag.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: I have a hook on the on the back of my like the driver's seat.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh, my pokey bowl is in the backseat.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Well, what's in it?
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Should I eat it?
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: That's the question.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: What what what what's in it?
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: So there is rice.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Okay, so far.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Seaweed salad.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Wait, hold on.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Let me help you here.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: Rice, yes.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: What's the seaweed salad?
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: That's gotta have some vinegar base in it.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: You're okay.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Um, there is some ahi tuna.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: You're on the edge.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Eel.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: No.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Eel itself sounds like diarrhea before you even put it in your mouth.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: And then there's this, you know that like that yum yum sauce?
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, that'd be all right.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: The smell is a little questionable.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, no.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: This was an expensive.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: The tuna was like this is expensive.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, uh, it's also gonna give you a raging case of diarrhea if you eat it.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: I want to eat it, but I have a little surprise for Zach tonight.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Well, you'll give him a big one if you eat that.
