De Vries Injury Halts Rise | Oakland Athletics News
The Athletics’ top prospect, 19-year-old switch-hitting shortstop Leo De Vries, is sidelined for the rest of the season with a sore right shoulder — a major blow after an explosive Double-A campaign featuring .290 batting, 13 homers, 55 RBIs, and 34 steals. Already projected to debut in 2027, De Vries was even being groomed for third base, showcasing his five-tool potential. The injury stings, but the A’s remain confident this setback won’t derail his bright future. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
