Two suspects from Fitchburg are arrested in connection with a brutal sexual assault at UW-Madison’s Goodspeed Family Pier—caught on camera by a bystander near Alumni Park after the victim tried to leave. Both men, ages 27 and 31, allegedly met the victim at a bar before dragging her to the pier where they allegedly assaulted, strangled, and falsely imprisoned her. Charged with second-degree sexual assault with force, strangulation, battery, and false imprisonment, they’re now behind bars at Dane County Jail—no ties to the university.
