- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Hi, friends.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, I hope your weekend was fabulous, as always.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: I know here in Kentucky we had one of the most perfect St.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Patrick's Day party weekends.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: You could have asked for it, per usual.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: And not only was Louville popping, but so was Lexington, and it was so funny to see all the green.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Just seeing it every year always makes me happy, you know, like just a little leprechaun bouncing around, trying to find the rainbow, pot of gold.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: It's just so cool.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Which is really funny because um my mom and I we took my son, we went crystal shopping, and one of my favorite things ever.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, a little bit about what went on with us this weekend.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: It was just so cool.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: But um enough about me.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Let's get into today's episode.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: We have the beautiful Leilani Leard, and she you'll hear her voice, and you will know exactly why she's here.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Her story is one of depth and resonance, and you can hear with her whole entire presence that she is authentic in everything she does, which is you know my favorite kind of people.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: So without further ado, let's have this conversation with Lailani.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Thank you for joining and being on the FITS project.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: It means a lot.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: And thank you for thank you for very much for the invite.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I really appreciate that too.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Like it's it's I really appreciated our connection.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I do want to ask you, uh, because I asked this for everybody.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: My favorite question: what does it mean for you to be in the business of yourself?
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: What does it mean to be in the business of myself?
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: That is well, like Rachel, that's really what it's all about, honestly, in the sense that like to be in the business for myself means that before I lead, like I go to the depths that I want others to go to.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: It means that through life experiences, I have had the opportunity to learn how I was abandoning myself, right?
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: And through those lived experiences, that's that's the strength I get to bring to the table when I coach.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: You know, I didn't, I never really started out wanting to go into business for myself, right?
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Um, I didn't seek to be an entrepreneur.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: I really went into business because my body refused to let me live a misaligned life.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Feel at least for myself, like I I once lived a life that was very socially acceptable.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Very, you know, I had multiple degrees, I had studied law, I had been in academia, I had I had a very comfortable job in corporate America, but the entire time something was off inside, right?
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: And each one of my episodes of paralysis, they weren't random, right?
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: They were responses of years of accumulated self-betrayal, added up, unspoken no's, right?
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: And and each one of those episodes asked me to dig a little bit deeper.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Each one of those episodes asked me, are you gonna choose to be socially acceptable and live a misaligned life?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: Or are you gonna choose to answer what your soul has called you here to do, right?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: I'm tingly like all over from literally my head to my feet, listening to you and how calm you are and saying that, but with so much certainty.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: I feel like there's some people in the world that keep getting this nudge after nudge after nudge, and these like tower moments is what I would call them.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: They keep coming no matter what, whereas other people they never seem to it never seems to phase their aura.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: But it's those people that get 'em, it's like it's it shakes you so hard that you have to literally stop in your tracks and look at everything in your life from the inside and then flip it on its head to then bust up and out.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: I don't feel like that happens to everybody.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Some people, it's almost like a freak force of nature.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And I hear that when I hear you speak.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Like I literally hear that that's how this happened for you when you just said that.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean that I feel like that's a very honest reflection back, Rachel.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: To have a tower moment, you know, I was the first time I was paralyzed, I was 17, you know, and you know, doctors were were like, I don't know what's wrong.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to help you, you know, and medications were getting rejected.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: My body was rejecting the medications, right?
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Nobody had any idea.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: They were just like pulling straws from a can, right?
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: And it's from that space that like I had to find steadiness in here.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: I had to see myself not as this body bound by limitation in that moment.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: But the soul that was in this vessel, she still had a mission to do.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: And so, and she needed to be able to walk in the world to do it.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: So come on, nervous system.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Little toe, you're wiggling today, right?
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, nobody else can like tell me how to do that.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I got you, right?
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: I got you because the divine's got me.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Like, and when we can connect, right?
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: When we step back or when we step into that certainty, first off, of like, I know that the world says that this is impossible, and I know that this isn't pop that this is possible, right?
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that realm of possibility, like limitless possibility.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Like the blessings, the blessings of those episodes, right?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Were that this was my body saying, been giving you like little signals, you have a very hard head.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: I love you.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: And would you please stop abandoning yourself, right?
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: So, do you want to tell the story of what happened when you were 17 and how you overcame that?
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So 17, I uh finished my high school coursework, right?
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: I had already been accepted into university.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: I was going to community college because early graduation wasn't something that the school that I was attending uh offered, right?
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: So I had had to stick around until May.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: And uh so um, so going to going to college, still in high school, uh, you know, that simultaneous stuff.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: And I had a an after-school job, if you will, right?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: So I was a waitress.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: I was at my shift one afternoon, and in February, ironically enough, um, here I was carrying a tray of drinks and food, turned to serve the table, and the tray dropped like that, the whole right side of my body.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: No feeling instantaneously.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: The last thing I remember in that moment was I connected with the eyes of my boss.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: She was I could see her through the kitchen, the hell the lead manager, and I woke up in the hospital.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Nine months later, after 15 doctors and a hundred plus medications being rejected by my body, the last doctor visit ended with a doctor saying that I was going to need a full body blood transfusion every six months.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: And uh at this point, my mom had, you know, you know, been witness to how my body had responded all of these months, right?
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And uh had been a witness to me researching holistic medicine and being dismissed by the the medical staff, right?
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: That's not their training, right?
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: And and so in that moment, when that rheumatologist responded back in that minute in that way, she looked at him, she looked at me, she looked back at him, and she said, I think my daughter's got a better plan for her life than that.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: And we left the office.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Um, and that was an incredible moment because it was a moment where I felt truly seen.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: 17's a hard age, I think, just for life in general, and to receive that level and that depth of validation from a parent has been to this day and all in all of the other episodes of paralysis that transpired, like a huge blessing.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Because then she said, Okay, like in the car, she was like, Okay, you went you have already researched your naturopath, so let's let's make an appointment, right?
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: And so we did and got a very different evaluation, right?
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: When we went into that appointment.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: And by this time it was late November, and I was still very determined to be at the university that had accepted me.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: And so I I asked him point blank.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: I said, Look, like I will be at a university campus in January.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: What do you need from me for that to happen?
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: So he gave me very specific protocols, and I met them.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Off we went, right?
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Overall recovery in total, right, from that regimen, from those all those protocols.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Excuse me, it's probably about a two and a half year process.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: That being said, it didn't stop me from going to Japan.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: It didn't stop me from graduating on time from university, it didn't stop me from, you know, being in all of the things that I did, right?
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: Um, I never identified myself as somebody with paralysis.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: It was simply an interruption in patterning, right?
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: And it was an invitation for me to start to learn how to choose myself.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: For sure, I could see that.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: That's super powerful.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: So and that started, that invitation opened up at 17.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: And with the catalysts of your mom being such an empowering person for you, also knowing how important it was for you to choose yourself over the medical advice.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: This brings me to uh the Joe Dispenza and his life and how his story is so parallel with yours and his accident.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: I had just actually just heard about his story.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: Just randomly got on a podcast and just found out about him and his existence maybe a year ago, and he's obviously healed and helped so many people learn how to heal and help themselves through probably many modalities you used, and I want to get into that.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: Was just I find these stories miraculous.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: You know, I always think that like childbirth getting pregnant for for one thing is a miracle by itself.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Staying pregnant is another miracle by itself.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Having the birth of the child is a miracle.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: There's so many miracles that we experience just on a human on a human scale from conception on is wild to me.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: And then you have these where you kind of lay out the law for yourself, and you have to get rid of the noise.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: How did you do that?
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: What was your plan?
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: What was your regimen?
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I mean, I really I healed by listening to the body.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: I healed by you know, I mean sitting in bed and looking at my toe, going, move downward.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: And like some days it would just stare at me, you know, and you're like, no, like you will move again, right?
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: And and then uh, you know, like being able to visualize the foot moving, right?
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Before the physical movement actually happened, right?
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: We know from research that that has the same impact, right?
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: And so staying connected to my body, very much so, learning what it actually meant to regulate the nervous system, right?
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Doing the emotional work behind all of the ways that I had already abandoned myself, right?
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: And releasing the guilt, releasing the layers of shame, releasing the the anger, the fear, all of it, right?
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: All of it, the people pleasing, the layers of self-betrayal, the layers of you know, performing because that's what was pr praised by a society, right?
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, still is it still is exactly.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: Still is, and really unwinding, unwinding when I got to a point when the visualization started to manifest in the physical form, right?
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: Then um I did move into more progressively more advanced movements.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: But meditation, visualization, those were huge.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: At one of the la actually, one of the last episode of paralysis, I did have a yoga therapist.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Um and it was from that yoga therapist that I was in awe, really.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: I had been studying and practicing Hatha forms of yoga, but I had never until that point studied and practiced kundalini yoga.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: And she was a kundalini yoga therapist, phenomenal, phenomenal woman.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: And from that, really oh, I ended up going and getting a master's in yoga therapy, uh Kundalini Yoga Therapy because for me there was such an alignment with how Kundalini Yoga therapy integrated not only this heart-brain connection with the body, right?
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: But recognizing that the role of intuition, recognizing the role of energy, recognizing the role of the ten bodies as a whole, right?
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: And probably that was when I started to really kind of on an intellectual level start to understand what I had been doing since I was 17, right?
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: With working with the ten light bodies of the body and working with subtle energy, but then I got to go into like the neuroscience and like geek out on stuff.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: So that was fun.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: It is so much fun.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: A project manager in a clearly incorrect trade of life.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Because I don't get me wrong, I love it.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: I love turn turn and turn and burn and getting through and this little tiny sense of accomplishment.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: But what is like the biggest turn on for me is like learning how the brain is operating.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: I want to know how your brain, how your brain, your brain, what are you thinking?
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: Like, how is this reacting to your body right now?
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: I love it so much.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: It's such a desire for me to have that understanding, but that is so cool.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: But you teach this now to other people, right?
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: I do, I do indeed.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: What is that like?
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: What do you do?
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Um, I love that.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Rachel.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: So I I get I get to guide women.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: I get to guide women who are have also accomplished so much, right?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Are also like very high achieving, very growth-minded, and I get to help them see themselves in their wholeness, right?
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: We move out of the survival patterns and really into embodied sovereignty.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: And we do that by regulating the nervous system, we do that through somatic practices, we do that with breath work, we do that through meditation, we build awareness through conscious, like journal prompting.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: And all of that is really like this unpacking the layers and the layers and the layers of self-abandonment, of self-betrayal.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: So you work through that with journaling and teaching them how to not self-abandon.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: But I love that you do that because you've embodied that.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: You're you're working from an embodied person for what people you're your own client avatar, perfect client avatar, but there's so many people that experience what you have on your level.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: And that's, I mean, for me as a leader, I'm I'm just not willing to lead somebody to a place that I haven't been, that I haven't been willing to go to, right?
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: So like last year, I walked the Camino, right?
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: 800 kilometers by myself, not in a group, not like nothing planned out.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: Like why?
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Because I knew that that would create a space for me to face deeper layers, right?
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: So a a person who experiences or experienced multiple sessions of paralysis at different times walks the Camino by yourself for deeper layer experience of finding out who you truly are.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: That is amazing, and I love that.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: And then you get to share that, and there's so many insights, I'm sure, that came from that.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: I went on a hike last year, and I thought I was gonna die several times, and I didn't know what I was getting into, but then I realized I was like, what a gift that was, you know, and I'm sure your experience was just pouring.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: It was pretty off the charts, right?
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, this, and that's because I never want to be a person that sits on a pedestal and says, go do that.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Do what my words say, not what my actions are, right?
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: That that absolutely does not resonate with me, right?
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: And even in the group coaching container that I have, the Sage Leaders community, right?
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Like I have been very intentional with creating that community of who see themselves as the magic that they are, right?
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: That like they're willing.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, we've all had, we've all had difficult moments, but the way we choose to respond to those moments creates how we show up when those moments take different forms.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: And now love you carefully chose those words, and I know you did, because it is a um a choice when you respond instead of a reaction.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: That's not a choice, right?
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Reaction is not a choice, but you choose to respond to those moments, and you offer tools for that.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: And you can settle your nervous system through those tools that you've learned with your neuroscience and your kundalini yoga, which I think is amazing.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: I could talk about yoga all day long.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Well, come on in and do that.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: I did a kundalini for the first time last year at the Kentucky Yoga Festival.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Is that when MC Yogi performed?
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: No, that was at Wonderlust.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, you're right.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: But I went with my fiance and my mom and my son.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: We went and it was his first yoga class ever.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: And we did kundalini together.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: And I had never done it before.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: And he had never done yoga ever before.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I couldn't have picked a more perfect class to have gone to for his first and for our first together.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Because it was truly the way the instructor, her name is Jop, how she led it.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: She's teaching again at the Kentucky Yoga Festival this May.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: She's awesome.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Love her.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: But the way she led it was purely for what felt like spoke directly to me in my heart.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Was it just me in the class?
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: It was so many people, but it was so specific to me, but I knew it was also received by everybody.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: So it was beautiful.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: I love, love, love that teaching.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: I wish I taught that.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: I don't teach kundalini, but it's amazing, right?
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Open up your doors.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: I'm like, sister.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: Um, I love I love that.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: I love that you had such an impactful experience and that you you were open to connecting with that beautiful divine energy within you, right?
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's really one of the main differences in how kundalini and Hatha form of yoga are taught, at least in Western countries, you know, is that there's really a deep pause for us to really look inward.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: And I think honor, it's an honor, you know, for yourself.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, absolutely hold yourself.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it is.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: So cool.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: So when you're moving with your um collective, wanna tell us how we can get a hold of you, how can we join?
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like you have such a powerful story, and that is cowardly shown times 10 when you would lead, or because you don't live your life, and that's super specific.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: You lead it, and that's such a difference for um, like I said, those special people that get those tower moments where you have no other choice.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: But exactly you have no other choice but to lead your life, you mean because it's like when we don't, it crumbles from the inside, and it's uh almost unbearable.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: It is wild how that has reflected in my own life and how I see some people on snooze, you know, just on snooze, and I'm like it never hits them like it does me, or maybe it doesn't, and they can bear it.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know, I'm weak.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: I can I can't bear it.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: I'm like, all right, I'll just turn my shit around, hide.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: No, and see, and this is but this is what society shares with us, right?
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: Is that oh, if you can't take, you know, a hundred-pound weight of stress, then you're weak, right?
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: Right, and it's like can can we honor the fact that one, there are different soul contracts, right?
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: That two we all call in different circumstances for which teach us, right?
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: And what you perceive to be a hundred pounds, somebody else might perceive to be in a different area of life, might perceive it to be two hundred pounds, and somebody else in that area of life also might perceive it to be ten pounds, right?
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: When we recognize that we as a collective are learning from each other, right?
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: That you're carrying a hundred pounds in the way that it landed within your body is different than the way John over here carried his 200 pounds or his 15 pounds, right?
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: All of those experiences teach us as a whole how to carry that weight different, how to carry it more efficiently, how to carry it more regulated.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: When we eliminate this aspect of comparison, my trials are are more significant than your trials.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: BS.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Like, there are people's lives that that you know, on one side you can say, wow, they get to coast through life.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: That must be nice.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't have any idea what that feels like, right?
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: And then I go, yeah, well, that's my soul's here to do something different.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't be able to do that.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: That would drive me crazy.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And my soul knows that, right?
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: This is what I called in.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: I called it in, so I'd have to take responsibility for it.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: And that requires me to lead my life, right?
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: And not not just to sit on the backside going, oh, well, alignment is selfish.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: No, it's not.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: It's efficient.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: It's leadership, it's self-leadership.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: It's energy management, it's mindset, it's being able to wake up and being in a state of mind like, oh my god, thank you so much for giving me another day.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: Because here's the truth of it, Rachel.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Transformation doesn't happen through wishful thinking.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: No, it happens through embodied action.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Embodied action.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: That is that is the key for all of it.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: And I love that you are so aware and able to share so eloquently about how comparison is the thief of joy, you know, and it is not ours to judge, ours to live in, ours to be in just judgment of with others, you know, like exactly you are in your own, and when you can stay in your own and empower in your own and be in your own alignment, you give permission everyone else to do the same.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: And the truth of it is that we all have the ability to do it, right?
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: It's just a matter of learning the training for it, right?
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: And so you you ask, like, how do people stay in touch or continue their conversation or whatnot?
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: And Rachel, like, I would really love to extend a a special gift to your audience.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: So if anybody listening to this conversation, if something landed not here in the mind, but really in the body, um, I would really love to reward that acknowledgement that you're feeling the nudge within yourself.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And so I'm gonna offer listeners who send me an email, a free one-on-one session.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: So that's an hour session, because transformation doesn't happen through thinking, right?
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: And so I want to honor those that are willing to take the action of sending an email.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: I want to honor their courage to do that because this is what I'm here to do.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: And so if you feel called forward, like I want to serve you and meet you where you're being called.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: That is a real gift.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: I hope everyone receives and hears that and reaches out.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: And your email, I will put in our show notes for sure.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and make sure that that is part of the aligned action for you to take.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it's specific to what you said again with your choice of words, is so beautiful.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Not receiving this in the mind, but feeling it in the body.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: So what that may not be missed for me, that's tingling.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: It's my arm hair standing up.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Literally, like my belly will swirl.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: I I could feel it in my throat, even.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: And it's that's how it shows up for me in my body.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: So if those are signs or symptoms that you cured over this conversation, that's how you know it showed up in your body.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, amazing.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: I love that, I love that.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Signs and symptoms being embodied.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: My goodness.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you so much.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: It's such a sweet conversation.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: I love your voice and everything.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Rachel.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: I appreciate that.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: Let's take a breath together and let this land.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: And if you're walking away with anything from this conversation, let it be this.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: That your body is always speaking to you.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Are you listening?
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: And transformation doesn't come from thinking about change, but from embodying it.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: And that you always have a choice to move from survival into sovereignty.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: If this episode spoke to you, share it with someone who needs that reminder.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: Because this work, it's not meant to be done alone.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: And if you're wanting to stay in this energy beyond the episode, I invite you into my newsletter where I go deeper into the work of being in the business of yourself with reflections, tools, and real life integration.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: This is your life, your energy, your time.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I want to see you lead it on purpose.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: Let's bring it in.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: Let's close this episode with the beautiful Ohm together.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: Take a breath in.
