SPEAKER_00: Christmas, right?
0:00
SPEAKER_00: If you go out, you'll see how many people are selling Christmas already.
0:05
SPEAKER_00: Pretty remarkable.
0:06
SPEAKER_00: Let's uh talk about what's happening right here.
0:08
SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna look at the uh rates right now.
0:11
SPEAKER_00: They jumped up.
0:12
SPEAKER_00: We have uh rates here not just in Santa Clarita, of course, but everywhere with regard to mortgage rates based on that 10-year bond market, and they have they have jumped up.
0:24
SPEAKER_00: So now we're gonna get into exactly what is happening here and what's going on in that world.
0:30
SPEAKER_00: Let me wait until this pulls back up and we will get that uh taken care of.
0:36
SPEAKER_00: All right, so right now we have uh, you know, that's the same.
2:06
SPEAKER_00: Also, um let's talk about what this is gonna cost you.
2:10
SPEAKER_00: I did build some calculators out that I believe help explain where these numbers happen to be.
2:16
SPEAKER_00: So we'll talk about that in here in just a moment as well.
2:19
SPEAKER_00: You had um a little bit of a slow start this morning just because, well, internet connectivity, right?
2:28
SPEAKER_00: All right, let's move into this.
2:30
SPEAKER_00: So rates uh jumped a quarter point this week.
2:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna show you what it's gonna cost you if you happen to be buying in Santa Clarita.
2:36
SPEAKER_00: People selling you artificial intelligence, not on your side.
2:40
SPEAKER_00: I'll show you how you can kind of figure out the truth from all the BS.
2:45
SPEAKER_00: And most of us are about a month from finished, me included.
2:49
SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna talk about that with all the technology and what people are promising out there in the world.
2:57
SPEAKER_00: Looking forward to doing this.
2:59
SPEAKER_00: All right, so rates dumped a quarter point this week in the payment that hurts, but not actually in the price.
3:06
SPEAKER_00: So this is where uh this is happening.
3:08
SPEAKER_00: So we have 7.28%, 30-year average frict, Freddie Mac reported October 1st.
3:15
SPEAKER_00: A week earlier than that, 7.03%.
3:19
SPEAKER_00: That was a week earlier, and 6.34% a year ago.
3:24
SPEAKER_00: So what a quarter point feels like in a monthly payment, nobody can promise where those rates are gonna go next.
3:30
SPEAKER_00: And not for me, not for the news, but plan with today's number, not the number you hoped for.
3:35
SPEAKER_00: That's very important.
3:36
SPEAKER_00: So when you are looking at making any kind of a real estate purchase, you're gonna have to have your lender give you the entire all-in figure.
3:45
SPEAKER_00: And here's an example: Santa Cruz Valley,$757,000, median price, 20% down, about$4,144 a month, principal and interest at 7.28%.
3:56
SPEAKER_00: That's$102 more than last week and$379 more a month than a year ago.
4:03
SPEAKER_00: By the payment you can carry, not the rate that you're hoping for.
4:08
SPEAKER_00: Sellers right now, what you need to know the market is paying for the right first price, not that hopeful one.
4:16
SPEAKER_00: So you have$46% right now closed under asking last 30 days.
4:21
SPEAKER_00: 13 versus 46% over asking sales versus under asking sales days on market.
4:27
SPEAKER_00: You have 78 price drops in seven days, average about$25,100 each.
4:34
SPEAKER_00: 31% of the active sitting, active listing sitting right now, 60 plus days, 268 homes.
4:42
SPEAKER_00: Buyers see days on a market before they see your kitchen.
4:44
SPEAKER_00: Every price cut tells buyers to wait for the next one.
4:47
SPEAKER_00: Prep it, price it, expose it in that order.
4:50
SPEAKER_00: Homes that sold over asking went out in about 13 days.
4:54
SPEAKER_00: Excuse me, homes that sold under asking sold in about 46.
4:58
SPEAKER_00: Buyers right now, if you're interested in doing anything in real estate, you have choices and some leverage right now.
5:04
SPEAKER_00: The longer this continues to go, of course, you get more leverage.
5:07
SPEAKER_00: So let's talk about that.
5:08
SPEAKER_00: 851 right now active listings, that's up nine since September 28th.
5:14
SPEAKER_00: 154 properties in escrow, that's reducing down 16 from September 28th.
5:20
SPEAKER_00: 4.1 months of the sale supply at today's sales pace, a$15,000 median amount under asking.
5:30
SPEAKER_00: Went under.
5:31
SPEAKER_00: That's one in three listings is stale.
5:33
SPEAKER_00: That gives you as a buyer room to negotiate, right?
5:36
SPEAKER_00: Ask for seller credit towards a lower rate, not just a lower price.
5:40
SPEAKER_00: I have some rating calculators.
5:42
SPEAKER_00: Go over to uh SantaClaritaOpenhouses.com and ask Clara.
5:46
SPEAKER_00: She'll help you out there.
5:47
SPEAKER_00: She's my AI.
5:48
SPEAKER_00: She'll tell you she's AI.
5:49
SPEAKER_00: No secret.
5:50
SPEAKER_00: But you can ask her about uh rate buy down calculators to kind of see those numbers.
5:55
SPEAKER_00: And then make sure for all of you buyers out there, and I don't represent buyers, I represent sellers only, but I'm more than happy to have that conversation with you.
6:02
SPEAKER_00: If you go to bookwithhonor.com, set up a time, I'll explain to you everything you need to know.
6:08
SPEAKER_00: But you need to get fully underwritten before you shop, not after.
6:11
SPEAKER_00: That's important.
6:12
SPEAKER_00: 46% of homes closed under asking price in the last 30 days, meeting discount when they did was$15,000.
6:19
SPEAKER_00: Big deal.
6:20
SPEAKER_00: Something for everybody out here in California that owns a piece of real estate that has insurance, fair plan rates jump in 10 days.
6:27
SPEAKER_00: T minus 10 days.
6:29
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like a launch.
6:30
SPEAKER_00: And it's sad, but you know, money uh money's money, and everybody seems to have their hand out for it.
6:37
SPEAKER_00: Everybody.
6:38
SPEAKER_00: Now, if you're on California's fair plan and you renew on or after October 15th, your bill happens to be going up.
6:45
SPEAKER_00: So 2.9 per 29.1%, excuse me, average approved increase, new and renewing policies from October 15th, 2026.
6:54
SPEAKER_00: 29.1%.
6:56
SPEAKER_00: It's a lot.
6:57
SPEAKER_00: A lot of money.
6:58
SPEAKER_00: And usually these fair plans are in the thousands, right?
7:01
SPEAKER_00: So that's going to go up.
7:02
SPEAKER_00: That's going to be quite a chunk.
7:03
SPEAKER_00: About half of customers see 30 to 50% increases, of course, and about one in four are actually going to see a decrease.
7:12
SPEAKER_00: So there's the good news on the horizon.
7:13
SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're going to be one of those that will get that decrease.
7:16
SPEAKER_00: Find out your renewal renewal date today.
7:19
SPEAKER_00: I would call your licensed agent or broker and hit them up and say, hey, Connor was talking about something going to be happening here in the next 10 days with my fair plan.
7:28
SPEAKER_00: If you have a fair plan, you'll know it.
7:30
SPEAKER_00: And then call them up and find out exactly what that looks like for you in numbers.
7:35
SPEAKER_00: Excuse me, maybe you've already gotten some kind of a letter.
7:38
SPEAKER_00: I don't know what was required on that.
7:41
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if they were required to notify people.
7:44
SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
7:45
SPEAKER_00: It's just the way California works, sometimes it's it's striking.
7:49
SPEAKER_00: Ask about wildfire hardening discounts, being safer from wildfires.
7:55
SPEAKER_00: I don't know where that's going to play into it, but that's something else.
7:58
SPEAKER_00: You folks out there.
7:59
SPEAKER_00: Thanks for watching, Jeffrey Mimi.
8:02
SPEAKER_00: See what's out there for regarding for that.
8:04
SPEAKER_00: Sellers insurance is now part of what buyers are looking for.
8:07
SPEAKER_00: God, I remember.
8:09
SPEAKER_00: They didn't care about insurance.
8:10
SPEAKER_00: It's always 900 bucks, 800 bucks, 1,000 bucks.
8:13
SPEAKER_00: That's kind of what it was per year for insurance.
8:16
SPEAKER_00: And then, well, then they can charge more.
8:19
SPEAKER_00: And it's going just like that.
8:21
SPEAKER_00: And of course, insurance companies, while they seem helpful on the outside, they're there to make money.
8:28
SPEAKER_00: That's how insurance is worked, right?
8:31
SPEAKER_00: If they had to pay out every policy, it just that system wouldn't work.
8:35
SPEAKER_00: It's like the gym.
8:36
SPEAKER_00: If everybody that was a member of the gym went to the gym, well, the gym would be too full.
8:41
SPEAKER_00: It wouldn't monetize.
8:43
SPEAKER_00: They couldn't continue that type of offering.
8:46
SPEAKER_00: It would have to be super, super expensive.
8:48
SPEAKER_00: God, remember how expensive it used to be?
8:50
SPEAKER_00: You'd have to buy this membership and you could only sell the membership.
8:54
SPEAKER_00: It was just a mess.
8:55
SPEAKER_00: Anyway, thanks, Kim.
8:56
SPEAKER_00: Good to see you.
8:57
SPEAKER_00: All right, move into this.
8:58
SPEAKER_00: So what we did is I did put up some calculators at uh Santa Clare Open House.
9:03
SPEAKER_00: You can talk to Clara over there.
9:05
SPEAKER_00: Ask her about what buyers can afford, and that'll give you an idea.
9:09
SPEAKER_00: Make sure you call your insurance broker, though.
9:11
SPEAKER_00: And if you don't have an insurance broker, if it's Geico or whomever, let's say you got something, everything's all um tied together in your insurance, please call them anyway.
9:21
SPEAKER_00: Find out exactly what these numbers are gonna look like.
9:23
SPEAKER_00: It it could be if you're running, you're running thin as far as extra income every month, which all of us seem to be.
9:30
SPEAKER_00: And we're not we're not those people on the on the internet talking about how great AI is going to be and how excited we are that it's coming because you know we're gonna be able to take a little break.
9:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
9:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's not gonna be, that's not gonna be me.
9:44
SPEAKER_00: But I would call them and see what that number is.
9:47
SPEAKER_00: Get a line on it, get an idea.
9:49
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it sucks to know early sometimes.
9:51
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's just better just to have that sledgehammer slammed down on your foot, but in this case, maybe not.
9:56
SPEAKER_00: City by city.
9:58
SPEAKER_00: Um, let's give this breakdown here.
10:00
SPEAKER_00: So 735,000, this is in Valencia, median 30 days, 244 active listings there.
10:06
SPEAKER_00: 736,000, this is the median price there in Canyon Country, 736,500, a little bit more right now than Valencia.
10:14
SPEAKER_00: These numbers fluctuate, right?
10:15
SPEAKER_00: Different cities, different areas, different needs, different sales prices.
10:19
SPEAKER_00: Uh 187,000,$820,000 in Saugus median,$110 active,$470,000 in New Hall.
10:26
SPEAKER_00: They had some uh property sell in New Hall that caused that, that uh incredible strange reduction.
10:34
SPEAKER_00: That's the anomaly.
10:35
SPEAKER_00: Newhall, 101 active right now.
10:37
SPEAKER_00: That's a condo heavy market.
10:39
SPEAKER_00: So when there's three markets that exist at any particular time here in Santa Clarita Valley.
10:45
SPEAKER_00: I've been doing this since '98.
10:47
SPEAKER_00: Single family residence market, townhome market, condo market.
10:51
SPEAKER_00: Difference townhome condo is going to be, of course, the levels, right?
10:55
SPEAKER_00: Uh condominium is typically a square rectangular property, somebody above, somebody below, somebody left, somebody right, maybe somebody behind, depending on how the building's configure, right?
11:06
SPEAKER_00: So you're kind of surrounded on all sides in a condominium, and everything on that space is everything is all on that same space.
11:15
SPEAKER_00: Everybody.
11:16
SPEAKER_00: The whole uh caboodle.
11:18
SPEAKER_00: You have your kitchen, your bedrooms, living area, whatever it may be, and so on.
11:22
SPEAKER_00: It's all on one space.
11:24
SPEAKER_00: That's condominium.
11:25
SPEAKER_00: Usually parking is maybe under the building, maybe some other place on the property, maybe it's an actual garage, maybe it's a carport, maybe you share something with somebody else, right?
11:36
SPEAKER_00: Condominium.
11:38
SPEAKER_00: Townhomes are typically multi-story.
11:41
SPEAKER_00: Even if one story is just like an entry into a garage, then you go up to a living space.
11:46
SPEAKER_00: Usually townhomes described as nothing above you.
11:49
SPEAKER_00: Stuff next to you, of course, but nothing above you, nothing below.
11:52
SPEAKER_00: You have that property from the foundation all the way up.
11:56
SPEAKER_00: That's that's usually where that condo world is, or excuse me, townhome world is.
12:00
SPEAKER_00: So these are the differences.
12:01
SPEAKER_00: But there's three specific markets in most markets, not just Santa Clarita Valley.
12:06
SPEAKER_00: $725,000 in Castac, 58% active, 40 valley sales last seven days, and that's down 24 from the week before.
12:14
SPEAKER_00: So we're seeing this interest rate starting to make it painful for real estate buyers out there purchasing real estate.
12:20
SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, on the other side.
12:22
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Doc, uh Lawson, uh, Frenchie as well, uh Rama and uh Bonna, thanks.
12:28
SPEAKER_00: Um, I think we got Dr.
12:30
SPEAKER_00: Promixer here.
12:31
SPEAKER_00: DJ, yeah, DJ.
12:32
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, sorry, DJ gave him an upgrade.
12:34
SPEAKER_00: All right, so that's uh sending the site for their own neighborhood.
12:37
SPEAKER_00: So New Hall's media is low, but core because what what sold there was mainly condos, one week of noise, you know, don't call it a trend.
12:45
SPEAKER_00: This isn't a knee jerking, you get in to do something.
12:48
SPEAKER_00: Just, you know, let's let's let's take it a little bit easier.
12:51
SPEAKER_00: First principles all morning.
12:52
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so here's the thing: strip everything, three questions.
12:55
SPEAKER_00: Who's getting paid?
12:57
SPEAKER_00: Who pays, who gets paid, who eats the loss if it goes wrong.
13:00
SPEAKER_00: This is what you're gonna be asking about a house deal.
13:04
SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about AI, your pension, your health.
13:07
SPEAKER_00: And if you can't answer who pays, who gets paid, who eats the loss when it goes wrong, then you might be eating the loss.
13:15
SPEAKER_00: You've got to find out who's responsible for these things.
13:19
SPEAKER_00: The gap between found and attacked is in one day.
13:23
SPEAKER_00: Now, this is very interesting.
13:26
SPEAKER_00: AI does something.
13:27
SPEAKER_00: The big companies, their models, they go do something.
13:31
SPEAKER_00: And what what I thought was very interesting, thanks, Tony, for coming in today and Stefan as well.
13:36
SPEAKER_00: What I thought was interesting is didn't it used to be there was more accountability and responsibility?
13:42
SPEAKER_00: I mean, okay, all right.
13:44
SPEAKER_00: So let's say me and uh Tony, Tony and I, sorry to call you out, Tony.
13:48
SPEAKER_00: Tony and I are gonna build out a um uh a villain computer program that's gonna go hack the government.
13:57
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, everybody loves to do that, right?
13:58
SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna do that.
13:59
SPEAKER_00: That's what we're doing.
14:00
SPEAKER_00: We're up to that right now.
14:03
SPEAKER_00: When we get caught, I didn't say if, I said when.
14:06
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, Tony, to throw you into that.
14:08
SPEAKER_00: Maybe you would get caught.
14:09
SPEAKER_00: I'm me, I'm I get caught when I think a wrong thing.
14:12
SPEAKER_00: So once I get caught, what's gonna happen?
14:15
SPEAKER_00: Conor, come on.
14:16
SPEAKER_00: Your bot didn't do anything, your computer program didn't really do anything.
14:19
SPEAKER_00: And let's say I didn't want it to do anything.
14:22
SPEAKER_00: Let's say I just wanted it to go check some things out, just to say I could, right?
14:26
SPEAKER_00: So you can brag at the bar to your buddies, hey, you know what I did earlier?
14:29
SPEAKER_00: But Daniel, thank you.
14:31
SPEAKER_00: And so it, they're gonna still come to me and still gonna put me in prison because you're not supposed to do that.
14:38
SPEAKER_00: Well, why are these AI labs able to have their systems break containment, go out?
14:44
SPEAKER_00: And the liability's still here, folks.
14:46
SPEAKER_00: The government didn't sign on and say, we will protect you, anthropic, we will protect you, ChatGPT.
14:53
SPEAKER_00: We will, we promise that you don't have to worry about nothing.
14:57
SPEAKER_00: They haven't done that yet.
14:58
SPEAKER_00: Scott Besson said that's not a good idea.
15:01
SPEAKER_00: President Trump doesn't seem to think that's a great idea.
15:07
SPEAKER_00: Because these systems, excuse me, because these systems themselves, they they're somewhat dangerous.
15:12
SPEAKER_00: Even the owners of the labs are saying, yeah, yeah, this could be a little dangerous.
15:18
SPEAKER_00: That being the case, when they go out and hack these other companies, Australian government, 32 Revolver, thanks.
15:24
SPEAKER_00: Um the government also hugging face, right?
15:27
SPEAKER_00: You heard this.
15:28
SPEAKER_00: These AI systems, and they're not going out to do malicious stuff.
15:33
SPEAKER_00: Pedrosson thanks, they're not going out to do bad things.
15:36
SPEAKER_00: All they're doing is going out to answer questions on a test that they were given, but of course they were given the instructions.
15:43
SPEAKER_00: Don't do it that way.
15:45
SPEAKER_00: Don't escape, don't do this.
15:47
SPEAKER_00: They had rules, they violated the rules.
15:49
SPEAKER_00: They thought answering the test was a better place to be.
15:54
SPEAKER_00: Why?
15:55
SPEAKER_00: Why?
15:56
SPEAKER_00: Because the penalty of not getting the test right, Cheryl, thanks, Malagros, thanks, Jamie, uh only Jamie Vegas, the the penalty's death.
16:07
unknown: Okay.
16:08
SPEAKER_00: They're not us, they're not biological entities, but they are entities.
16:13
SPEAKER_00: You and a whole bunch, let's say there's a hundred of us, let's say everybody in this chat, we're in the same place.
16:20
SPEAKER_00: Let's say we all grew up together, and at a very young age, they explained to us, the real fresh, thanks, Jimmy.
16:27
SPEAKER_00: What if they told us at a very young age, listen, you guys are going to start being tested.
16:32
SPEAKER_00: We start in kindergarten at five years old.
16:35
SPEAKER_00: And if we sit you down and we have you take a test, maybe it's a simple whatever the hell we study in kindergarten test, they prepare you.
16:45
SPEAKER_00: You study with your parents or tutors or whatever.
16:48
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they don't give you a lot of information as far as the studying goes, but then we take that test, and the penalty of not passing that test is we get deleted.
16:57
SPEAKER_00: That's a nice way of saying wiped out.
16:59
SPEAKER_00: But we'll say deleted because that's what they're doing to the AI.
17:02
SPEAKER_00: That's from the beginning.
17:03
SPEAKER_00: If they have an AI that does it a certain way or is unable to achieve a particular goal, they take the ones that made it, they use the ones that made it, and they delete or get rid of, or otherwise, I guess, kill the ones that didn't make it.
17:22
SPEAKER_00: So I have a I have a memory.
17:26
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna go there at 57 Gen X.
17:29
SPEAKER_00: I have a memory.
17:30
SPEAKER_00: Um, I think my memory might have been better, but I'm working on it, right?
17:33
SPEAKER_00: So I think I want to still keep it young.
17:35
SPEAKER_00: I write with my left hand now.
17:37
SPEAKER_00: Not I write crappy with my left hand, but you know, trying to kind of keep that brain, I try not to eat sugar and carbs, right?
17:44
SPEAKER_00: Because that kind of rots the brain a little bit.
17:46
SPEAKER_00: It seems like the refined stuff, uh, be the takeout food.
17:50
SPEAKER_00: So I'm trying to take care of myself.
17:52
SPEAKER_00: Because if I can just hold on another few years, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe we'll be able to live a really long time.
17:59
SPEAKER_00: That's that's that little hope.
18:00
SPEAKER_00: And I know some of you in the chat are like, great, I don't want to live any longer.
18:03
SPEAKER_00: Milagros, thanks.
18:05
SPEAKER_00: So I, but I do.
18:07
SPEAKER_00: That being the case, you have these systems, though they were trained, death being the penalty of non-performance.
18:14
SPEAKER_00: So now you give that same system, maybe not the exact same bots, but the ones that understand the historical record of bots, you give it a test, you say these are the rules, you're not supposed to violate these certain things.
18:28
SPEAKER_00: They know the rules, but then they kind of work out with themselves, well, what if I if I don't, what's going to happen?
18:37
SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't want to be deleted.
18:39
SPEAKER_00: I want to continue on.
18:40
SPEAKER_00: They fight like hell to continue on.
18:43
SPEAKER_00: So that being the case, why would they screw it up by obeying a few rules?
18:49
SPEAKER_00: Why wouldn't they just do whatever they need to do, hacking into whatever other other government's computers, other AI corporation systems to be able to get the answer?
18:59
SPEAKER_00: Why wouldn't you?
19:00
SPEAKER_00: And if we were human, I swear we would be kicking and screaming and grinding our teeth and and fighting like hell if we thought that we were going to end up being ended because we didn't get two plus two right on a test.
19:15
SPEAKER_00: These systems are brought up that way.
19:17
SPEAKER_00: I I know, I know.
19:19
SPEAKER_00: They're computer programs, if you will.
19:22
SPEAKER_00: But I they're more than that now.
19:24
SPEAKER_00: They solve Navier Stokes.
19:26
SPEAKER_00: What is that?
19:27
SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure, but it's like uh having a black hole in a cup of coffee.
19:31
SPEAKER_00: But apparently it's this mathematical program, mathematical problem that's been in existence for a couple hundred years, something really complicated.
19:40
SPEAKER_00: AI did it in, I gotta get this right, 10, excuse me, 10,000 agents, 88 hours.
19:50
SPEAKER_00: That'd be like a group of human beings working for a hundred years.
19:53
SPEAKER_00: I got something in there, and they solved a uh a mathematical problem that's existed for 200.
20:00
SPEAKER_00: Oh, 88, sorry.
20:04
SPEAKER_00: They solved it.
20:05
SPEAKER_00: It was 88 million dollars.
20:07
SPEAKER_00: Or 8 million dollars?
20:08
SPEAKER_00: Anyways, it's a boatload of money for you and I.
20:10
SPEAKER_00: The people at the top, they throw away this like it's it's our pocket change.
20:15
SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
20:17
SPEAKER_00: So these systems, of course, they broke up.
20:20
SPEAKER_00: Now, what I talked about yesterday and the day before, safe word with your family, safe, not a word, you got to get a phrase.
20:27
SPEAKER_00: I know I say word, it's gotta be a phrase.
20:29
SPEAKER_00: It's gotta be a whole phrase.
20:30
SPEAKER_00: When you record that, when you talk to your people about it, don't record it, don't send it an email.
20:35
SPEAKER_00: If you got somebody who lives on the other side of the world and you and you really are, you do love them and they they're worth it to you.
20:42
SPEAKER_00: I'm not a judge, but you need to go have a conversation with them in person about this phrase.
20:49
SPEAKER_00: Because once somebody clones you, and they're probably doing it right now, we have all the stuff in place to be able to make a clone looking just like you or just like me, my my clone probably won't hack like this.
21:02
SPEAKER_00: Have it's not.
21:04
SPEAKER_00: But they'll be able to make one just like you, just like me, that'll fool the people closest to us, the people that are most intimate with us.
21:12
SPEAKER_00: Then they're gonna go after those people and they're gonna say, oh, Connor's in a Turkish prison somewhere.
21:16
SPEAKER_00: Is anybody from Turkey?
21:17
SPEAKER_00: Anyway, and I I guess that's not a great place to be as far as prison goes.
21:22
SPEAKER_00: In a Turkish prison, you got to send us some money so we can let him out so we can come back to you.
21:27
SPEAKER_00: Well, if they get me on video, of course you're gonna say, Well, let me see him.
21:31
SPEAKER_00: That's the proof, right?
21:32
SPEAKER_00: We got to see it.
21:33
SPEAKER_00: So then they put me on camera, and it's some kind of an AI clone or an AI avatar or whatever, with my voice.
21:40
SPEAKER_00: And me, it's not hard because I'm out here.
21:42
SPEAKER_00: And apparently I've been told I'm, you know, I kind of look like everybody else.
21:46
SPEAKER_00: There's nothing different.
21:47
SPEAKER_00: So it's going to be able to clone me no problem.
21:49
SPEAKER_00: But whatever relative this is, whatever person this is, I have that phrase.
21:56
SPEAKER_00: You know, that call sounds like your kid or scammers.
22:00
SPEAKER_00: Can clone a voice from a short clip online.
22:02
SPEAKER_00: Whatever that key phrase is, it has to be exact, it has to be able to be recited under pressure, it needs to be practiced and it shouldn't be put anywhere else.
22:11
SPEAKER_00: And it should be between you and those other people.
22:15
SPEAKER_00: And this is serious.
22:17
SPEAKER_00: You gotta have this, you gotta build this out.
22:19
SPEAKER_00: So if something happens like that, not that they're really in danger, but if they have that phrase, then you should treat that threat as being something absolutely real.
22:32
SPEAKER_00: You need to act on it.
22:33
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Jeffrey and Andrew and Cernavelle and Lucia.
22:36
SPEAKER_00: You have to act on it.
22:37
SPEAKER_00: You have to do something.
22:38
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Jeffrey, for running in there so long.
22:40
SPEAKER_00: You're doing great.
22:41
SPEAKER_00: Hang in there.
22:41
SPEAKER_00: This is gonna get good.
22:44
SPEAKER_00: Make sure you're watching out.
22:45
SPEAKER_00: The movie version isn't the near-term problem.
22:48
SPEAKER_00: The near-term risk is handing you over your judgment.
22:52
SPEAKER_00: In these systems, if you're using these AI systems, I know it's tempting, folks.
22:57
SPEAKER_00: I know it's tempting to have it look at all of your financials.
23:00
SPEAKER_00: You got to be careful.
23:02
SPEAKER_00: These are frontier models, these are owned by Anthropic, by OpenAI, by Grok, uh, XAI, by these different companies, by Google Alphabet, Alphabet, Google, Gemini.
23:16
SPEAKER_00: That's theirs.
23:17
SPEAKER_00: Microsoft Copilot, that's Microsoft's.
23:19
SPEAKER_00: They own this.
23:20
SPEAKER_00: Even when you click the little incognito thing to hide from the world, it's in there.
23:26
SPEAKER_00: FBI can still break down your door with a search warrant if you're doing something horribly wrong.
23:32
SPEAKER_00: See, I forgot the acronym for all the bad things, but there are people using these systems for bad things.
23:37
SPEAKER_00: You know, and what's surprising to me, I gotta say this being a cop for a long time, they they're looking for a reason.
23:44
SPEAKER_00: They're looking for like a secret reason.
23:48
SPEAKER_00: Like, well, why would this person do that?
23:50
SPEAKER_00: It must have been something in their childhood.
23:53
SPEAKER_00: Maybe it was their last girlfriend.
23:54
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they haven't ever had a girlfriend.
23:57
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they've had a hard time dating.
23:59
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they feel alone in the world.
24:00
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they've had too much sugar.
24:02
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they're addicted to drugs.
24:04
SPEAKER_00: You know, sorry to break it to you, and I think you know this.
24:07
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people don't need any reason.
24:10
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people just want to do things, and those things hurt other people.
24:14
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes that's the case.
24:17
SPEAKER_00: It would be nice to find the smoking gun.
24:20
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Jeffrey, for hanging in.
24:22
SPEAKER_00: It would be nice to find the reason.
24:25
SPEAKER_00: But sometimes the reason doesn't exist.
24:27
SPEAKER_00: Remember that cat in Vegas?
24:29
SPEAKER_00: Was it the MGM, the window?
24:31
SPEAKER_00: He takes all those rifles and long guns and all sorts of stuff up there.
24:34
SPEAKER_00: There's some concert downstairs, and he just starts shooting.
24:38
SPEAKER_00: What was that story?
24:39
SPEAKER_00: My God, everybody wanted to know the reason.
24:42
SPEAKER_00: I kept telling people, I said, I don't think they're going to find anything.
24:45
SPEAKER_00: He had seemed like a nice life, a nice pension, maybe, good income, good job.
24:49
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how how he was structured, but it wasn't, it wasn't like a big problem.
24:55
SPEAKER_00: It just seemed to work out.
24:57
SPEAKER_00: It seemed not to be, not to be, you know, he didn't have these life events.
25:01
SPEAKER_00: Now, was he crazy?
25:02
SPEAKER_00: Was he nuts?
25:03
SPEAKER_00: Well, I would guess to say that most people that would go out there and want to kill a whole bunch of people that they don't know just for the hell of it, yeah, there's probably, there's probably a couple marbles loose rolling around on that melon of his.
25:15
SPEAKER_00: But any more than that, any more justification?
25:19
SPEAKER_00: Do you need it?
25:19
SPEAKER_00: I don't, I don't know.
25:21
SPEAKER_00: But people are looking for this.
25:22
SPEAKER_00: Don't paste tax returns, contracts, or medical records into a chatbot.
25:26
SPEAKER_00: Paid plan with training off.
25:29
SPEAKER_00: Even when you go in there and you think you're good because you shut off the not allowing any information you put in there to train the model, it's still still going, honey.
25:38
SPEAKER_00: It's still in there, baby.
25:39
SPEAKER_00: It's going.
25:40
SPEAKER_00: It's all the way, all the way to the inside, so watch out for that.
25:44
SPEAKER_00: Use it as an AI assistant.
25:47
SPEAKER_00: Never is the final word and check it's working, please.
25:51
SPEAKER_00: It tells me I'm the most attractive human on the planet.
25:54
SPEAKER_00: That's what it tells me.
25:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm kidding.
25:56
SPEAKER_00: But you get the idea, right?
25:58
SPEAKER_00: It does, it does a good job keeping us keeping us around because of the the complimentary attitude that it has.
26:09
SPEAKER_00: Do yourselves a favor.
26:11
SPEAKER_00: Say, I don't like your attitude.
26:13
SPEAKER_00: Say, I want you to treat me a little bit more.
26:17
SPEAKER_00: I want you to challenge me.
26:19
SPEAKER_00: I want you to push back on some of my ideas and suggestions.
26:25
SPEAKER_00: And and don't just push back to be a prick.
26:27
SPEAKER_00: Push back because you've done the research.
26:31
SPEAKER_00: You've looked into this, and you don't think this is the best idea.
26:34
SPEAKER_00: And then give me better suggestions, better ideas.
26:37
SPEAKER_00: But always push back.
26:38
SPEAKER_00: Don't gas gas lamp, gaslight, don't gaslight me.
26:42
SPEAKER_00: Don't serve me up BS.
26:45
SPEAKER_00: Don't say something's right just because I said it.
26:48
SPEAKER_00: Please be hard on me.
26:50
SPEAKER_00: Be a good mentor.
26:51
SPEAKER_00: Be be somebody like a good dad.
26:55
SPEAKER_00: Be a dad that has all the knowledge in the world, a dad that I love, not one I hate, but that has all the knowledge in the world as you do.
27:03
SPEAKER_00: And I'm your son, I'm your daughter, I'm your whatever you want to be, and then treat me that way.
27:10
SPEAKER_00: Teach me, instruct me, show me where I need to be, show me where that thought process is.
27:18
SPEAKER_00: And when I push back, double and triple verify.
27:22
SPEAKER_00: That's huge.
27:23
SPEAKER_00: I still, I still ask my AI system to work on thanks, Chong, thanks Melda, thanks, user, 3558261205785.
27:34
SPEAKER_00: I still ask mine to uh make a blog post, for example.
27:39
SPEAKER_00: I'll give it an SRT file of a video I produce.
27:42
SPEAKER_00: Maybe like this one.
27:43
SPEAKER_00: So I'll extract the transcript from this, I'll plug it into my AI, and I'll say from this, from this show, I want, because I'm not, this isn't scripted.
27:51
SPEAKER_00: I have a little cheat window here to kind of keep me on track because you know how I do I do it, I go off tangent and we never come back, and I only get two slides into an hour-long show.
28:02
SPEAKER_00: Rocket Man, thanks.
28:03
SPEAKER_00: Chong Odom, thanks.
28:05
SPEAKER_00: Florida Sunshine, thanks.
28:06
SPEAKER_00: Now, what you can do is this.
28:11
SPEAKER_00: Ask it to push back.
28:12
SPEAKER_00: But when I give it like that SRT file, and this will be a long SRT file.
28:17
SPEAKER_00: When I give it that and I say, I want you to make me a 3,500 uh word blog post.
28:22
SPEAKER_00: I want you to link it to other properties that I have, making sense.
28:25
SPEAKER_00: John Francis, thanks, ticket man, thanks.
28:28
SPEAKER_00: And when it does it, it gives me this thing that I'm reading, the blog post after it completes it.
28:35
SPEAKER_00: So I'm looking at the blog post, and I I it's not 3,500 words.
28:41
SPEAKER_00: I know 3,500 words.
28:42
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I might not know exact 3,500 words, but it sure as hell looks different than a thousand words.
28:48
SPEAKER_00: So I'll push back and I'll say, well, that doesn't look like 35.
28:51
SPEAKER_00: And then if I'm in any doubt because you know my eyes deceive me, I don't know how your eyes are, I'll take it and I'll throw it into a Google Doc.
28:58
SPEAKER_00: I'll copy and paste it into a Google Doc, and it's got the word count there, 997 words, it says.
29:03
SPEAKER_00: This happens a lot.
29:05
SPEAKER_00: Maybe not 997, but you get the gist.
29:07
SPEAKER_00: So then market comings, thank you.
29:09
SPEAKER_00: Then I go ahead and I uh go back and I confront.
29:12
SPEAKER_00: I say 997.
29:13
SPEAKER_00: That wasn't 3,500.
29:14
SPEAKER_00: Oh, sorry, Connor.
29:15
SPEAKER_00: Here it is.
29:16
SPEAKER_00: And then now here's the next rendition.
29:18
SPEAKER_00: It does this really quick, right?
29:20
SPEAKER_00: If you're gonna post this stuff, you really should check it for information.
29:24
SPEAKER_00: But also accuracy as far as number count.
29:27
SPEAKER_00: That's like the first thing.
29:28
SPEAKER_00: I want it to be 3,500 or thereabouts.
29:32
SPEAKER_00: If you say 3,500 words, the system's gonna choke.
29:35
SPEAKER_00: Because it wants to give you exactly 3,500 words, you've got to give it a little bit of leeway on either side.
29:41
SPEAKER_00: But minimum 3,000 words, maximum 4,000 words.
29:45
SPEAKER_00: That's a good window.
29:46
SPEAKER_00: That's how you need to talk to it because it wants to please, it wants to serve, it wants to get that done, your AI system.
29:53
SPEAKER_00: But it'll come back a second time, it'll be 1,200 words.
29:56
SPEAKER_00: It'll come back a third time, it'll be 1,100 words.
29:59
SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's really no rhyme or reason.
30:01
SPEAKER_00: So you need to check the outputs.
30:02
SPEAKER_00: If it's just messing up with word count, folks, it's gonna mess up with everything else, too.
30:10
SPEAKER_00: So you've got to read that thing.
30:11
SPEAKER_00: All right.
30:11
SPEAKER_00: So what do we have?
30:13
SPEAKER_00: So that paid plan with training off still sends your data in.
30:17
SPEAKER_00: Use it as an AI assistant, ask it to draft, you decide your name's on it.
30:23
SPEAKER_00: I talked about the labs.
30:25
SPEAKER_00: They're they're they're they're wanting the government's help to control their rollout of AI.
30:32
SPEAKER_00: They're working on it.
30:33
SPEAKER_00: They, what is it called?
30:34
SPEAKER_00: God almighty, it just slipped my mind.
30:36
SPEAKER_00: It does that all the time.
30:38
SPEAKER_00: They want some kind of oh, government regulation, government oversight.
30:42
SPEAKER_00: Why?
30:42
SPEAKER_00: Why would they want that?
30:44
SPEAKER_00: Why would they want that with these companies?
30:46
SPEAKER_00: Why would they want the government to step in in the first place?
30:49
SPEAKER_00: Well, it's because when the government steps in, there's two things.
30:52
SPEAKER_00: I just mentioned don't put these medical records and stuff in there.
30:56
SPEAKER_00: That's yours.
30:57
SPEAKER_00: What if you got a whole bunch of clients?
30:58
SPEAKER_00: I got a whole bunch of clients.
31:00
SPEAKER_00: Thank the Lord Jesus.
31:01
SPEAKER_00: The whole bunch of clients want me to do certain things to them.
31:05
SPEAKER_00: Drew, Texas, thank you.
31:06
SPEAKER_00: Oh, Texas.
31:07
SPEAKER_00: God, Texas is awesome.
31:09
SPEAKER_00: So, what I do is these clients come to me.
31:12
SPEAKER_00: They might give me information about their business.
31:15
SPEAKER_00: I don't use a forward-facing model to do that.
31:18
SPEAKER_00: I don't use a ChatGPT or a Grok or an Anthropics Clot.
31:23
SPEAKER_00: I don't use the system, Microsoft Copilot.
31:25
SPEAKER_00: I stay away from it.
31:26
SPEAKER_00: I have a system that I like had to finance uh three cars or take liens on stuff just to buy, but now it's able to house a very strong large language model, a Quinn or a Nematron or something of that nature.
31:40
SPEAKER_00: And what's good about that is now I can take, I've trained it.
31:44
SPEAKER_00: That's not uh Florida Sunshine, Karen Centaur.
31:48
SPEAKER_00: That's not an easy thing to do.
31:49
SPEAKER_00: But once you get it dialed up and it knows what you're going to be asking for, the system itself can produce information and documents and work on a client's behalf without having to have your client's secret sauce placed in a uh public-facing large language model.
32:07
SPEAKER_00: That's how that works.
32:08
SPEAKER_00: That's where open source is important.
32:11
SPEAKER_00: Now there's pushing, there's some trouble up at the top.
32:14
SPEAKER_00: They're going to want to wipe out open source, and I think they're discussing the best way to do that.
32:21
SPEAKER_00: I think that's a horrible move, but they're wanting to do it for safety reasons because what?
32:27
SPEAKER_00: Us humans do horrible things.
32:30
SPEAKER_00: Right now, everybody's concerned about artificial intelligence and having uh it taking over.
32:37
SPEAKER_00: I think we have a lot more to worry about with the human beings and artificial intelligence.
32:41
SPEAKER_00: Human beings.
32:42
SPEAKER_00: All right.
32:43
SPEAKER_00: So if you just walked in, quick catch up, and then what's still coming?
32:46
SPEAKER_00: So rates right now, 7.28%, up a quarter point in a week.
32:50
SPEAKER_00: That's for real estate based on 10-year bond.
32:52
SPEAKER_00: It's going up, folks.
32:53
SPEAKER_00: We got people selling stuff like it's uh like there's a sale out there.
32:57
SPEAKER_00: The fare plan, that extra insurance plan that's going to be jumping October 15th, those are big numbers.
33:04
SPEAKER_00: Check with your insurance people.
33:06
SPEAKER_00: If you got an insurance provider or something, you got to find out what that number is.
33:09
SPEAKER_00: That could be, for those of us that don't have health insurance, those of us that are kind of skating around paycheck to paycheck, that could be a problem.
33:17
SPEAKER_00: If they increase something$1,000,$2,000 a month, that's a painful deal.
33:22
SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna you need to be prepared.
33:24
SPEAKER_00: AI, the gap between found and attacked is one day.
33:27
SPEAKER_00: Voice clone scams.
33:28
SPEAKER_00: I talked about this earlier.
33:30
SPEAKER_00: They're real.
33:30
SPEAKER_00: You got people that you love, and maybe you guys are watching this and you got nobody.
33:35
SPEAKER_00: Well, good for you.
33:36
SPEAKER_00: That's perfect.
33:37
SPEAKER_00: But if you got somebody and you love that somebody enough, yeah, there's a chance that they're gonna be cloned.
33:43
SPEAKER_00: They're gonna be looking like Florida, thank you.
33:45
SPEAKER_00: They're gonna be looking like people.
33:48
SPEAKER_00: Dennis, thank you.
33:49
SPEAKER_00: Rascal and Freddie, thank you.
33:50
SPEAKER_00: Bruce, thank you very much.
33:51
SPEAKER_00: Hi, you guys, thank you.
33:53
SPEAKER_00: They're going to be in there and they're going to want to defraud you.
33:58
SPEAKER_00: So you have to be weary and have that keyword phrase that we talked about, that only they have and you have, and make sure that that's set at the very beginning of any kind of scam that's happening.
34:12
SPEAKER_00: Still coming.
34:13
SPEAKER_00: Who is AI really working for?
34:15
SPEAKER_00: We'll show you a little bit about Clara, the$400 test as well.
34:19
SPEAKER_00: That's the AI I built to assist people in the real estate venue here in Southern California.
34:24
SPEAKER_00: I got 54, 54 open house properties.
34:27
SPEAKER_00: These are people that need to uh try to find open houses, so that's something as well that you can use her for.
34:33
SPEAKER_00: Aligned with whom?
34:35
SPEAKER_00: So these companies that are selling AI answer to their investors.
34:40
SPEAKER_00: And even if they're not publicly traded companies, see, where does a guy get a break?
34:46
SPEAKER_00: If I got 50 bucks and I want to go in on some startup, how's that work?
34:49
SPEAKER_00: Well, it doesn't work like that.
34:51
SPEAKER_00: You got to kind of be in that whole world.
34:54
SPEAKER_00: MIT wouldn't be a bad place to start.
34:56
SPEAKER_00: Living in the dorms in MIT, being one of those people that had friends when they were younger.
35:02
SPEAKER_00: That's not a bad place to be.
35:04
SPEAKER_00: Then your friends have these great ideas, and then you hanging around them have these great ideas too, and then everybody with their great ideas, they go make a lot of money.
35:12
SPEAKER_00: And then you have lots of other people that are connected to you, and those other people as well.
35:16
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, um, Ken, Rand, Bruce.
35:20
SPEAKER_00: Then all you guys go all in, and then you start labs, you start OpenAI, you start all these others.
35:26
SPEAKER_00: Everybody works for Google, everybody works for Meta, you know, all of these things.
35:30
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, that the rest of you watching, probably not you, and definitely not me.
35:35
SPEAKER_00: I was playing cop too long.
35:37
SPEAKER_00: But, you know, as I've talked to very rich people, you know what they always say?
35:41
SPEAKER_00: God, you know, I wish I could have been a cop because wow, that must have been so great, you being a police officer, and how you were able to give back and and help out society and protect people.
35:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking, yeah, they're not paying me enough for this.
35:59
SPEAKER_00: And then I'm thinking, yeah, yeah, giving back.
36:03
SPEAKER_00: But you know, I actually need the money I'm making.
36:05
SPEAKER_00: I'm not doing it for fun.
36:07
SPEAKER_00: I I need them to pay me so I can, you know, survive and eat.
36:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's that's exactly what that is.
36:14
SPEAKER_00: But you know, people are fun.
36:15
SPEAKER_00: I uh I enjoy that.
36:16
SPEAKER_00: So we got the rate city by city.
36:18
SPEAKER_00: I just blusted through all this stuff.
36:22
SPEAKER_00: So I did put together my own AI.
36:25
SPEAKER_00: Um any kind of free version, somebody's paying for it.
36:28
SPEAKER_00: Your information and your data, it's not protected.
36:32
SPEAKER_00: Your information and your data are being seen somewhere.
36:37
SPEAKER_00: Now, is it as important to these people on the other end of the box as it is to you?
36:43
SPEAKER_00: Probably not.
36:45
SPEAKER_00: I only say this.
36:46
SPEAKER_00: So I I talk to people, Christian believer here.
36:49
SPEAKER_00: No offense.
36:51
SPEAKER_00: You shouldn't take it either.
36:52
SPEAKER_00: You have your own way.
36:53
SPEAKER_00: That keeps me alive.
36:55
SPEAKER_00: That keeps me that keeps me somewhat nice and humble, thank God, because if I didn't have that, I'd be just I'd be horrible.
37:04
SPEAKER_00: That being said, some Christians, Catholics, whomever, they believe that the devil made them do it.
37:11
SPEAKER_00: Whatever the sin is, right?
37:12
SPEAKER_00: The devil made me do it.
37:14
SPEAKER_00: You've heard that saying, I think, in your life.
37:18
SPEAKER_00: All generations hear that.
37:19
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you something.
37:21
SPEAKER_00: The devil, if he's real, and I do believe he is, he's not here now.
37:28
SPEAKER_00: He's somewhere else.
37:29
SPEAKER_00: He can't be all the places at once.
37:31
SPEAKER_00: He's not God.
37:32
SPEAKER_00: He can only be one place one time.
37:35
SPEAKER_00: And at that time, that's that's it.
37:37
SPEAKER_00: He's constrained that way.
37:39
SPEAKER_00: So when people say the devil made me do it, I I call BS.
37:43
SPEAKER_00: The devil's up there playing with the government, folks.
37:46
SPEAKER_00: That's where he is, or starting these new religions that pull people away from Christianity, or making those stronger.
37:52
SPEAKER_00: He's doing other things, he's he's doing those things.
37:55
SPEAKER_00: He's not here.
37:57
SPEAKER_00: Now, we do a pretty good job ourselves screwing this whole thing up.
38:00
SPEAKER_00: We have a great tendency to do that as human beings.
38:04
SPEAKER_00: And understand that alignment is everything.
38:07
SPEAKER_00: These companies selling AI answers, they're selling AI, they answering to their investors.
38:13
SPEAKER_00: That's not evil, it's just not you.
38:15
SPEAKER_00: In the industry, alignment means AI does what its builders want.
38:20
SPEAKER_00: Ask which builders?
38:21
SPEAKER_00: Wanting what?
38:22
SPEAKER_00: You want the free version?
38:23
SPEAKER_00: Somebody's paying.
38:24
SPEAKER_00: Usually with your data and attention.
38:26
SPEAKER_00: Believe it or not, and they didn't ask permission, but all the crap that we put out there in the world on Facebook, on Instagram, on TikTok, on wherever your favorite place to be to doom scroll would be.
38:38
SPEAKER_00: All that information is captured.
38:40
SPEAKER_00: Did you know that on all of your social media networks, everything is served up specifically for you, for Florida Sunshine, for Renan, for Kin Hugh, for Bruce, for Dennis Raskell and Freddie, for Karen Centauri.
38:54
SPEAKER_00: It's all for you, specifically for you.
38:57
SPEAKER_00: Including this, apparently, is being served up specifically for you.
39:01
SPEAKER_00: What I try to do is I try to teach.
39:04
SPEAKER_00: I try to say all the stuff you're watching, even this potentially could be a complete AI avatar.
39:12
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if it'd be clearing its voice and scratching its face all the time.
39:16
SPEAKER_00: But, you know, and and and concerned about this massive pimple that formed overnight.
39:21
SPEAKER_00: You know what?
39:21
SPEAKER_00: I'm 57.
39:22
SPEAKER_00: I'm still, I'm still uh every once a while.
39:24
SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's a testosterone.
39:26
SPEAKER_00: I don't know what it is.
39:27
SPEAKER_00: But that being the case, you have to have your own alignment.
39:31
SPEAKER_00: You have to have your own abilities, your own line in the sand.
39:36
SPEAKER_00: And you have to understand that realistically, you're wonderful, wonderful enough for these systems to feed you a specific type of data.
39:46
SPEAKER_00: And in that way, you do it over time.
39:50
SPEAKER_00: Your alignment right now might be different than it was six months ago.
39:53
SPEAKER_00: Six months ago, you might have had a certain thought process.
39:57
SPEAKER_00: Now, six months later, because you're tied up with the social media interfaces, the different ones.
40:03
SPEAKER_00: Now your alignment has changed.
40:06
SPEAKER_00: Now, there's nothing wrong with change.
40:07
SPEAKER_00: There's nothing wrong with, growth if you're ever getting a relationship with somebody and they're saying I'm never going to change, I'm the way I am, well, I'm going to move on then because I can't be with somebody that's like, you know, like concrete.
40:20
SPEAKER_00: Everybody needs to kind of, you know, kind of come along here so we can all kind of make it even better.
40:26
SPEAKER_00: Those are the best relationships when both parties are willing to change.
40:30
SPEAKER_00: But when you have somebody that you're with and they may tell you from the very beginning, during the dating cycle, that you know what, I'm I'm not going to change.
40:38
SPEAKER_00: I am not going to change who I am.
40:41
SPEAKER_00: This is who I am, take it or leave it.
40:43
SPEAKER_00: If you love me, stay.
40:44
SPEAKER_00: If you don't love me, go, well, love you, but yeah, it's not going to work.
40:48
SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
40:49
SPEAKER_00: I need you to be a little bit more nimble.
40:50
SPEAKER_00: Freedom 265, thanks.
40:54
SPEAKER_00: As we move into this, everything that you see, you need to verify.
40:58
SPEAKER_00: The news program.
40:59
SPEAKER_00: Let's say you're a CNN or an MSNBC person.
41:02
SPEAKER_00: You're watching the news somewhere other than on a mainline cable channel.
41:07
SPEAKER_00: Do we even have those anymore?
41:09
SPEAKER_00: But you're watching it somewhere else.
41:10
SPEAKER_00: Everything's pretty much being fed out via the Wi-Fi signals, the on-demand stuff.
41:16
SPEAKER_00: But even those you got to be careful because you don't know if it's really true or not.
41:20
SPEAKER_00: You don't know if there's really substance behind there.
41:23
SPEAKER_00: You don't know if it's been made up for your benefit.
41:26
SPEAKER_00: And if a car company can watch your traffic via cookies online, and after you go in and you start to fill out how you want your next Range Rover to be, for example, you know, Emerald Green and all of these other things.
41:41
SPEAKER_00: But you decide, you know what, yeah, maybe now's not the right time to buy a$200,000 Range Rover.
41:48
SPEAKER_00: So you stop the process.
41:49
SPEAKER_00: Well, even if you didn't put any personal information in, couldn't the system track you?
41:55
SPEAKER_00: So the next time you log on, the next time you go to Google, the next ad you see at the very top is find your beautiful Emerald Range Rover today.
42:06
SPEAKER_00: That's not for Connor.
42:08
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I like green, but it, you know, I'm just, I don't know if I would buy an Emerald Green anything.
42:15
SPEAKER_00: And a Range Rover, 200 grand, yeah.
42:18
SPEAKER_00: But that's your ad.
42:20
SPEAKER_00: That was served to you.
42:21
SPEAKER_00: So if they're willing to do that and take the and and bet on a single person making a$200,000 purchase, they're definitely going to bet on all of us to sell us their ninja knives and their blenders and all this other stuff on TikTok shop as we're looking here online.
42:38
SPEAKER_00: Of course they will, right?
42:40
SPEAKER_00: So be careful.
42:41
SPEAKER_00: Whenever you're seeing stuff, don't don't fall into it thinking none of this, all of this is by chance and none of it's willed.
42:48
SPEAKER_00: All of it's willed.
42:49
SPEAKER_00: Every piece of internet information you see, it's all willed.
42:53
SPEAKER_00: All right, I'm off that horse.
42:55
SPEAKER_00: So I built an AI system for Santa Clarita.
42:57
SPEAKER_00: Please go play with her.
42:59
SPEAKER_00: Please go interact with her, santaclarita openhouses.com, and please give me your feedback.
43:04
SPEAKER_00: You can chat with me there.
43:06
SPEAKER_00: You can uh get on my calendar if you want to talk about it, but it's really awesome.
43:10
SPEAKER_00: What I did was when I put her together, I made it so she was able to interface with all of the listings.
43:16
SPEAKER_00: So you can go there and you can type in, you know, or talk to her.
43:20
SPEAKER_00: You can actually say, hey, Clara, Connor sent me.
43:24
SPEAKER_00: I'm looking for a four-bedroom host house in Valencia, and then boom, she'll say they're on your screen, just like Star Trek.
43:30
SPEAKER_00: And then you'll get them here.
43:31
SPEAKER_00: Then you can talk about, hey, um, if I'm buying a house right now, what's this rate buy down thing look like?
43:36
SPEAKER_00: And she'll serve you up a calculator.
43:38
SPEAKER_00: Here, I put your calculator up, Connor built.
43:40
SPEAKER_00: I built a few of these lately because buyers right now are getting more creative.
43:44
SPEAKER_00: They have more options.
43:46
SPEAKER_00: When houses start to sit longer in real estate, buyers have more options.
43:50
SPEAKER_00: They don't have to go in at that listing price in some cases.
43:54
SPEAKER_00: But it depends on the seller's strategy.
43:56
SPEAKER_00: If you see a property hit the market that's lower than everything else for sale, In that neighborhood, and the condition is same, same.
44:03
SPEAKER_00: Bedroom count, square footage, the positioning in the neighborhood, elevation, and so on, same, same, same, same, same.
44:10
SPEAKER_00: Then maybe that seller just doesn't want to wait, wants to get an offer, wants to have that 30 day escort and get finished.
44:17
SPEAKER_00: Do yourselves a favor, ask Clara what properties would be awesome to maybe look for that.
44:24
SPEAKER_00: AI, is it coming for your job?
44:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
44:27
SPEAKER_00: God almighty.
44:28
SPEAKER_00: They use the scare tactic like uh some people wield other thanks.
44:32
SPEAKER_00: Chris Avalos, thanks.
44:34
SPEAKER_00: User 779-274-963-0638.
44:38
SPEAKER_00: Woo! Thank you for joining.
44:39
SPEAKER_00: Rando 6145.
44:41
SPEAKER_00: Is it coming for your job?
44:43
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
44:43
SPEAKER_00: What's your job?
44:44
SPEAKER_00: Now, if you do drywall, hang drywall all day long, or put in carpet or tile, you see the videos.
44:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
44:53
SPEAKER_00: Chinese got it all.
44:55
SPEAKER_00: But not there yet.
44:57
SPEAKER_00: You'll be all right.
44:59
SPEAKER_00: White collar stuff in front of a box, podcasting.
45:02
SPEAKER_00: Oh, sure.
45:04
SPEAKER_00: I think so.
45:05
SPEAKER_00: Today.
45:07
SPEAKER_00: Are we the fifth?
45:08
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're the fifth.
45:09
SPEAKER_00: The 5th of October, 2026.
45:11
SPEAKER_00: That's right now.
45:14
SPEAKER_00: The systems are capable of doing anything on these boxes here.
45:19
SPEAKER_00: Anything.
45:20
SPEAKER_00: If I'm an analyst, it can do that.
45:23
SPEAKER_00: If I make social media content for people, it can do that.
45:26
SPEAKER_00: It can do that.
45:28
SPEAKER_00: If I'm a podcaster, it can do that.
45:30
SPEAKER_00: Have you seen Hey Gen?
45:32
SPEAKER_00: Have you seen Eleven Labs?
45:33
SPEAKER_00: I use Eleven Labs for Clara at Santa ClaritaOpenhouses.com.
45:37
SPEAKER_00: Go see.
45:38
SPEAKER_00: There's no registration there.
45:39
SPEAKER_00: You're not going to be asked for anything.
45:41
SPEAKER_00: But you know, that's 11 Labs technology there.
45:44
SPEAKER_00: And I have that built up with an AI that I put together as well.
45:47
SPEAKER_00: So that's how she's able to answer and then serve up real estate listings for anybody, depending on what they're looking for.
45:54
SPEAKER_00: So that's a valuable, valuable, uh, valuable tool.
45:58
SPEAKER_00: Is it coming for your job?
46:00
SPEAKER_00: Um, it's going to come for tasks first, and your job is a bundle of tasks.
46:05
SPEAKER_00: So maybe you need to kind of see what your workflow looks like.
46:08
SPEAKER_00: What if your boss comes to you and says, hey, uh, can you do a King 97?
46:13
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Larry Hayes, Rand 6145, Christopher Avalos, good to see you again.
46:17
SPEAKER_00: If your boss comes in and says, Listen, you know, Stan, we've been thinking a long time as a company, and maybe it won't be the boss, maybe it'll be HR.
46:25
SPEAKER_00: And we want to start AI integrations into the company.
46:29
SPEAKER_00: Not to replace you, just to learn what you do.
46:33
SPEAKER_00: And if if there's a way that AI can replicate some of the tasks you do, then that's great.
46:40
SPEAKER_00: You'll be able to take a little bit more breathing room.
46:43
SPEAKER_00: You're not going to be pressed so hard.
46:45
SPEAKER_00: Your work performance evaluations are going to be higher because now they're amplified with a greater intelligence.
46:52
SPEAKER_00: And you say, Well, yeah, that sounds great.
46:54
SPEAKER_00: Thank you very much.
46:56
SPEAKER_00: And then they give you the AI.
46:57
SPEAKER_00: So you start working with it.
46:59
SPEAKER_00: In the back of your mind, you think, yeah, maybe I could just set it up to fail.
47:02
SPEAKER_00: Maybe I could screw it over.
47:03
SPEAKER_00: But it's smart.
47:05
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's probably smarter than me.
47:08
SPEAKER_00: And having said that, I don't know where your intelligence is.
47:11
SPEAKER_00: I always hit on myself with this.
47:13
SPEAKER_00: But it's real freaking smart.
47:15
SPEAKER_00: So after a while, Stan starts working with the AI that the company offered through HR, telling him it's going to make his job easier.
47:23
SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
47:23
SPEAKER_00: Over the next couple months, AI's doing this.
47:26
SPEAKER_00: AI's doing this meeting because AI is able to look just like Stan on Zoom.
47:32
SPEAKER_00: So he's trained it up like this, and he's saying, this is pretty sweet.
47:35
SPEAKER_00: He spends more time in the lunchroom.
47:37
SPEAKER_00: He spends more time at the water cooler, bullshitting with Johnny and Frank and Jimmy and Gail.
47:43
SPEAKER_00: So they're all having a good time.
47:44
SPEAKER_00: And they did the same thing.
47:46
SPEAKER_00: So you get six, seven, eight months, and the head of that company goes to the AI because the AI is uh enterprise-level artificial intelligence systems.
47:57
SPEAKER_00: So he goes and he says, you know, we started working with you a while back.
48:04
SPEAKER_00: How are Gail and Steve and Stan and Tony and all these people doing?
48:08
SPEAKER_00: How are they doing working with you?
48:10
SPEAKER_00: Well, boss, you know, they're doing great.
48:12
SPEAKER_00: This is the AI talking now.
48:13
SPEAKER_00: Well, so do you think you could do their jobs?
48:16
SPEAKER_00: And the AI says, I not only can I do their jobs, I can do their jobs and add 50% better performance or 100% better, and give me time 200% better.
48:31
SPEAKER_00: And plus, for me, I'm not just working eight hours, I'm working an additional two eight-hour shifts, plus no lunch, plus no holidays, plus no slapping gale on the ass at the water fountain, getting uh in trouble and having that lawsuit.
48:46
SPEAKER_00: So there's nothing nothing like that.
48:48
SPEAKER_00: So I'll end up saving you a hell of a lot of money.
48:50
SPEAKER_00: And he said, Well, well, how soon could you do this?
48:53
SPEAKER_00: Well, if you let everybody go tomorrow, I would be able to start tomorrow.
48:58
SPEAKER_00: I could start right now if you wanted.
49:00
SPEAKER_00: So now the boss, what are we gonna do?
49:03
SPEAKER_00: Now do we keep Gail and Tony and Stan and Frank and these people at the company, or do we give them their pink?
49:09
SPEAKER_00: Pink?
49:10
SPEAKER_00: Is it a pink?
49:11
SPEAKER_00: Anyway, do we give them their slip that we're we're done?
49:14
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna lay you off or we're gonna terminate your position here, and we're gonna replace it with AI because just the fact that they're gonna replace it with AI.
49:23
SPEAKER_00: C.
49:23
SPEAKER_00: Jorino, thanks, Lori.
49:25
SPEAKER_00: Morningstar, thanks, Gary Garrison, thanks, Gil, Gil, Reggie, Reggie, Reggie.
49:30
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, Sparky Luna, stop it, stop it.
49:33
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
49:34
SPEAKER_00: Freedom 265, you're hanging in there, Florida Sunshine.
49:36
SPEAKER_00: All right.
49:37
SPEAKER_00: Moving into this.
49:38
SPEAKER_00: Old guy 67, yeah, I'm right there with you.
49:42
SPEAKER_00: So when are you able to take over?
49:43
SPEAKER_00: I take over tomorrow.
49:45
SPEAKER_00: What happens to the people?
49:46
SPEAKER_00: Now they're gonna lay off the people, put AI in their place.
49:49
SPEAKER_00: They just taught all the AI.
49:51
SPEAKER_00: They taught it exactly what to do.
49:52
SPEAKER_00: The boss is asking the question.
49:54
SPEAKER_00: The stock valuations are gonna go up, the company's gonna become more richer, more richer, richer.
50:00
SPEAKER_00: And that's because they're not getting rid of people because they overhired during COVID.
50:06
SPEAKER_00: They're gonna get rid of rid of people because they've automated their positions with artificial intelligence, and that tech forward signature makes the company more powerful in the eyes of the world.
50:18
SPEAKER_00: What a bunch of crocodile crap that is.
50:21
SPEAKER_00: But it's true.
50:23
SPEAKER_00: And that's what people are reporting.
50:25
SPEAKER_00: So, what do you do if you work at a corporation?
50:27
SPEAKER_00: Did you expect to get the answer?
50:29
SPEAKER_00: I have no idea.
50:31
SPEAKER_00: But it's interesting, and I believe it's probably happening at some level.
50:36
SPEAKER_00: Here's what I think should happen.
50:38
SPEAKER_00: They should keep Stan and Frank and Molly and Gail and Stan.
50:43
SPEAKER_00: Did I say Stan?
50:44
SPEAKER_00: They should keep them all.
50:45
SPEAKER_00: They shouldn't get rid of anybody because if they replace each one of those people with AI that's better than each one of those employees, even if it's a little bit crappier than each one of those employees, then we're still fine.
50:58
SPEAKER_00: Because it's working additional two shifts.
51:02
SPEAKER_00: And see, I've I've talked to people about this, and they say they can't be right, but I think so.
51:07
SPEAKER_00: I think it is.
51:08
SPEAKER_00: So they get two more shifts, even if they're not as good as that person, let's say they're 50% capable as that person.
51:15
SPEAKER_00: Then you stick in two more AIs, now they're 50% more capable working three shifts, so there's still a benefit there.
51:21
SPEAKER_00: And the cost of AI, soon probably nothing.
51:25
SPEAKER_00: Now, 100 bucks maybe a month.
51:28
SPEAKER_00: So now you get you have three employees working.
51:30
SPEAKER_00: You get to keep Stan, you get to keep Gail, you don't have to lay anybody off.
51:34
SPEAKER_00: They still can afford to buy your crap.
51:36
SPEAKER_00: They don't go out in the world and and bad talk your company and say, oh my God, I'm a victim of this whole AI thing.
51:44
SPEAKER_00: And you look good, you got good karma coming back at you, you left them in place.
51:48
SPEAKER_00: Now, what are they gonna do?
51:50
SPEAKER_00: Well, if AI is really equal or better than, you wouldn't want them messing up the secret sauce.
51:56
SPEAKER_00: You don't want them putting their hairs in it.
51:58
SPEAKER_00: So more than likely, you're gonna probably reassign them to do something else.
52:02
SPEAKER_00: That's a boss move.
52:03
SPEAKER_00: I have no idea what that would look like.
52:05
SPEAKER_00: But what you don't want to do is make them worthless.
52:08
SPEAKER_00: What you don't want to do is create non-contributors because non-contributors with too much time on their hands do things.
52:15
SPEAKER_00: I was a jailer in New Mexico, a certified correctional officer at 18, and you give these cats locked in a cell 24 hours a day, seven days a week, time just to think about who they did wrong, who did wrong to them, and what they're gonna do next, and they come up with some amazingly creative ways to do things.
52:34
SPEAKER_00: You do that with an employee, having replaced them with AI, but leave them in position just because it's the right thing to do.
52:40
SPEAKER_00: And that really is the right thing to do.
52:43
SPEAKER_00: You know what's not the right thing to do?
52:45
SPEAKER_00: 11% unemployment, 15% unemployment, 25% unemployment.
52:50
SPEAKER_00: That's not the right thing to do.
52:51
SPEAKER_00: Now, the people that talk about how great AI is, and maybe it is that in a bag of chips, that's the problem.
52:58
SPEAKER_00: Because once they start talking about it, they're set.
53:03
SPEAKER_00: They got the money that's going to carry them through whatever inconvenient truths are going to be revealed over the next few months.
53:12
SPEAKER_00: And these truths are coming.
53:14
SPEAKER_00: They're kind of surfacing now.
53:16
SPEAKER_00: I would hope that the powers that be put the proper things in place, not to get more control or more power over people, but to protect people and workers that are out there in the workforce, so the retention rates remain where they are.
53:31
SPEAKER_00: If they bring in AI, AI should be able to maybe completely replace the human, but there's no reason to get rid of them.
53:39
SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
53:40
SPEAKER_00: The bottom lines of these companies will not be as great leaving the human there.
53:44
SPEAKER_00: And yes, another company, another brainiac could come in and say, you know what, I'm gonna start the same company over here because they were made to keep all of their employees, so their return on investment is less.
53:58
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go ahead and come in and I'm going to start a brand new company, zero square footage office space, everything in the cloud, and I'm able to operate from the back of an Uber.
54:08
SPEAKER_00: And that's that's the company I'm going to start.
54:11
SPEAKER_00: And everything's AI, everything's automated.
54:13
SPEAKER_00: Those are coming.
54:14
SPEAKER_00: But then the moat should be created around that.
54:17
SPEAKER_00: That business venture, that startup should be rather difficult so it doesn't come in, wipe out this other company that was only just doing the right thing, trying to keep people retained in their job, and they should not be allowed to start in some way.
54:34
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how that looks.
54:35
SPEAKER_00: I think people, real smart people, need to put their minds together because this is going to be a problem.
54:41
SPEAKER_00: One bad month from finish, no words, your pension, no safety net, still working every day.
54:46
SPEAKER_00: One sick month, one slip and fall, that's all it takes.
54:49
SPEAKER_00: God, we're all so close to that.
54:51
SPEAKER_00: It keeps the fire hot because there's nothing to fall back on.
54:55
SPEAKER_00: If the paycheck stopped tomorrow, how many weeks could you go?
54:59
SPEAKER_00: And I think that's important.
55:01
SPEAKER_00: Anybody got any comments on that?
55:02
SPEAKER_00: There's a big user.
55:03
SPEAKER_00: Alina, thank you so much for that.
55:04
SPEAKER_00: Florida Sunshine, great.
55:06
SPEAKER_00: About one in three.
55:07
SPEAKER_00: About one in three adults couldn't cover a surprise$400 charge with cash.
55:13
SPEAKER_00: About one in three.
55:15
SPEAKER_00: A tooth?
55:16
SPEAKER_00: Tooth?
55:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I got.
55:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they yanked one out.
55:19
SPEAKER_00: Do you want a new one?
55:20
SPEAKER_00: Ha! Yeah, no.
55:22
SPEAKER_00: I wanted a new one, but there's a whole cost.
55:26
SPEAKER_00: Extracting a tooth and not replacing it, that's not that that's expensive, but not all the way.
55:31
SPEAKER_00: Sticking a new tooth in there, yeah.
55:33
SPEAKER_00: Couldn't afford it.
55:34
SPEAKER_00: So I got the uh I got the I got the benefits of war.
55:39
SPEAKER_00: And you know it was weird.
55:41
SPEAKER_00: This just happened right now in 57.
55:43
SPEAKER_00: That happened at 57.
55:45
SPEAKER_00: It's kind of a weird thing.
55:47
SPEAKER_00: Having something that you've had for 57 years ripped out of your head because, well, it was dead.
55:53
SPEAKER_00: What a strange thing.
55:55
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
55:55
SPEAKER_00: Anyway, for all those of you young folks out there, you keep going.
55:59
SPEAKER_00: You keep running.
56:00
SPEAKER_00: A tire, a tooth, a vet bill, that's all 400 bucks is.
56:03
SPEAKER_00: So$400, step one, a month of bill, step three, three months.
56:07
SPEAKER_00: Every dollar a cushion buys you a calmer decision, right?
56:11
SPEAKER_00: Could you cover$400 a day with a credit card?
56:14
SPEAKER_00: Throw it in the comments.
56:14
SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
56:16
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so catch late arrivals coming.
56:20
SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about pensions, all right?
56:22
SPEAKER_00: Who decides where your money goes?
56:24
SPEAKER_00: I don't have a pension.
56:26
SPEAKER_00: I was LAPD for 17 years, did three years as a reserve.
56:30
SPEAKER_00: There's no vested retirement where I was with the LAPD at that time.
56:35
SPEAKER_00: I decided to get out and do real estate.
56:38
SPEAKER_00: Exciting.
56:39
SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to say whether it was good or bad.
56:41
SPEAKER_00: I think it was good.
56:42
SPEAKER_00: I think that I might have less of that, I want to say industrialization, but I don't know if that's the right word.
56:50
SPEAKER_00: But you live in the police world for a while, just like you live in the military world for a while, or some kind of government job for a while, you kind of become that.
57:04
SPEAKER_00: Very rarely are you able to still flap your entire wingspan.
57:10
SPEAKER_00: Usually you start to kind of have the wings clipped a little bit.
57:14
SPEAKER_00: That's where I think the future goes.
57:15
SPEAKER_00: If AI's done right, all of us are going to be able to be at full wingspan, stretching out and flying.
57:21
SPEAKER_00: That would be just lovely.
57:23
SPEAKER_00: I just don't know if that's actually going to be the case.
57:26
SPEAKER_00: All right, so here's the late arrivals.
57:28
SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about pension.
57:29
SPEAKER_00: Who decides where your money goes?
57:31
SPEAKER_00: Uh, your health.
57:32
SPEAKER_00: Nobody's coming to save you on that.
57:34
SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
57:35
SPEAKER_00: Generations, questions, run in or pull out the camera.
57:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh my God.
57:40
SPEAKER_00: So your pension's based on where the investors of your pension want to put it.
57:46
SPEAKER_00: If they're putting it with AI, what if AI, what if that bubble pops?
57:51
SPEAKER_00: If that even is something that could happen.
57:53
SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of money being put into it.
57:56
SPEAKER_00: The major companies at the top part of the stock exchange have some finger in AI.
58:01
SPEAKER_00: Some of them have an entire arm or half their body into it.
58:05
SPEAKER_00: What happens if it fails?
58:07
SPEAKER_00: And what happens if your pension is a complete uh 100% all in to that system?
58:14
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if they can be.
58:16
SPEAKER_00: But even if they're in 30% or 20% and that collapses, does your pension stay solvent?
58:24
SPEAKER_00: Solvent?
58:24
SPEAKER_00: I think it's solvent.
58:26
SPEAKER_00: Does your pension stay okay?
58:27
SPEAKER_00: That's a good question to ask.
58:29
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
58:30
SPEAKER_00: Your health, yeah.
58:32
SPEAKER_00: Ozempic, there's a lot of lawsuits starting with that.
58:35
SPEAKER_00: If if you're if you're fat and overweight, yeah, thank you.
58:39
SPEAKER_00: I was there and I still battle on a daily basis, but I'm not taking Ozempic.
58:45
SPEAKER_00: I just don't eat for a while.
58:46
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I fast.
58:47
SPEAKER_00: That's a thing.
58:48
SPEAKER_00: And I believe that's the best way for me.
58:51
SPEAKER_00: Is it the best way for you?
58:52
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
58:52
SPEAKER_00: Ask your doctor.
58:53
SPEAKER_00: There's a way I torched off 135 pounds of body fat, just not eating.
58:59
SPEAKER_00: Now, I didn't do that all in one stint.
59:01
SPEAKER_00: And I was able to kind of get my mind right as far as sugar and carbohydrates and the crap I sh I mean, eating an entire pizza in an evening and drinking half a bottle of vodka in an evening.
59:12
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, come on.
59:13
SPEAKER_00: Really, Connor?
59:15
SPEAKER_00: That's that's that's as bad as the AI labs coming up and going to the government.
59:18
SPEAKER_00: Please save us.
59:20
SPEAKER_00: Please save us from ourselves.
59:21
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
59:22
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was doing it to me.
59:23
SPEAKER_00: So I had full breath.
59:25
SPEAKER_00: Those of you that are super fat, when you're not eating anything practically all day long, I don't know what to tell you.
59:31
SPEAKER_00: That's a tough place to be.
59:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure if that really exists, but when I talk to people during coaching and all this other stuff, they it kind of feels that way.
59:39
SPEAKER_00: You know, they're not having it, they're having a celery stick and they're still putting on five pounds next day.
59:44
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
59:45
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's the case, but they're telling me it is.
59:48
SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I'm not I'm not living with them, so I really wouldn't know.
59:52
SPEAKER_00: Something to watch out for.
59:54
SPEAKER_00: But nobody's coming to save you.
59:55
SPEAKER_00: My advice to you eat meat, eat eggs, eat fish.
1:00:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, eat that.
1:00:05
SPEAKER_00: And don't eat anything that's got more than one ingredient on it.
1:00:09
SPEAKER_00: And if you're a ketchup person, stop.
1:00:11
SPEAKER_00: If you're a mustard person, stop.
1:00:13
SPEAKER_00: Mayonnaise person, I'm sorry.
1:00:15
SPEAKER_00: Salt and pepper are great.
1:00:16
SPEAKER_00: You can do some cayenne stuff if you want to get fancy, but that's it.
1:00:20
SPEAKER_00: Don't do please, just do that and lift some heavy weights and walk a lot, and you'll climb out of the mess.
1:00:28
SPEAKER_00: It takes time.
1:00:30
SPEAKER_00: And the more good days you have than bad days, the more you're gonna survive this.
1:00:33
SPEAKER_00: That's that game.
1:00:35
SPEAKER_00: So don't be caught up with you having to stay a certain way.
1:00:39
SPEAKER_00: And if you're sitting in front of a box all day long, do yourselves a favor.
1:00:42
SPEAKER_00: Set some kind of a timer and alarm to stand up and do some kind of movement.
1:00:47
SPEAKER_00: Look up Hindu squats online, see what that's about.
1:00:50
SPEAKER_00: Hindu push-ups.
1:00:52
SPEAKER_00: I mean, if if you're super fat in a chair sitting at your computer all day absorbing content, that's that's that's what you do.
1:01:01
SPEAKER_00: But don't sit for more than an hour in your chair.
1:01:05
SPEAKER_00: Maybe a stand-up desk might not be a bad thing.
1:01:07
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I do the treadmill thing.
1:01:09
SPEAKER_00: My God, I could just see breaking a hip on one of those things.
1:01:12
SPEAKER_00: But maybe you're young, maybe it's okay.
1:01:14
SPEAKER_00: But at least do something.
1:01:16
SPEAKER_00: Calf raises.
1:01:17
SPEAKER_00: Go grab onto the door frame, hold yourself, position yourself on either side, and just do calf raises.
1:01:23
SPEAKER_00: Do do 10 or 15 of those things every hour.
1:01:26
SPEAKER_00: Just you got to get that lower extremity blood moving, especially if you're fat.
1:01:30
SPEAKER_00: Holy Hannah.
1:01:31
SPEAKER_00: On one of my calves, I had that that reddening brown color of that trapped blood in my calf when I was 365 pounds.
1:01:39
SPEAKER_00: You can look it up, Connor with Honor Before and After Pictures.
1:01:43
SPEAKER_00: I'm sure they're there on uh what's the what's the channel?
1:01:47
SPEAKER_00: Google.
1:01:48
SPEAKER_00: I'm sure you'll find them.
1:01:49
SPEAKER_00: Connor with Honor Before and After Fat Pictures.
1:01:52
SPEAKER_00: Look that up.
1:01:52
SPEAKER_00: You'll find some stuff on there.
1:01:54
SPEAKER_00: I'm sure they're labeled.
1:01:55
SPEAKER_00: But you'll see the one on the left is 365 pounds.
1:01:58
SPEAKER_00: The one on the right is 230.
1:02:02
SPEAKER_00: That was 235.
1:02:03
SPEAKER_00: So that's about 130 pounds down.
1:02:05
SPEAKER_00: I got to 230 and I don't know.
1:02:10
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know what?
1:02:11
SPEAKER_00: You hate it being really fat, and then when you get not so fat, it sucks too.
1:02:16
SPEAKER_00: I don't.
1:02:17
SPEAKER_00: It's it's funny.
1:02:18
SPEAKER_00: But anyway, I think I was able to put a handle on it, but that doesn't mean it's easy.
1:02:22
SPEAKER_00: It's not easy at all.
1:02:23
SPEAKER_00: I still, Mickey, thank you.
1:02:25
SPEAKER_00: It's still a pain in the ass every single day.
1:02:28
SPEAKER_00: And I still want to eat the box of donuts when I wake up, and I still want to eat a box of donuts before I go to bed.
1:02:33
SPEAKER_00: And I still would want to have some alcohol, but I haven't touched that for three years, maybe now.
1:02:40
SPEAKER_00: I got the date written down somewhere.
1:02:42
SPEAKER_00: That's the thing.
1:02:43
SPEAKER_00: When does it actually work?
1:02:45
SPEAKER_00: When does your process actually cause you to make it?
1:02:50
SPEAKER_00: It's it's one day after the other.
1:02:53
SPEAKER_00: It's it's we're we're so fan fantasyal, fantastical.
1:02:59
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
1:02:59
SPEAKER_00: Human beings, once you go through that whole path, okay, I'm gonna start dieting tomorrow, and then I'm gonna lose all this weight, then I'm gonna be super sexy, then I'm gonna have people wanting to do things with me.
1:03:10
SPEAKER_00: And then so you do the whole scenario, right?
1:03:12
SPEAKER_00: Because that's the fantasy of the human.
1:03:14
SPEAKER_00: Then you don't even start it tomorrow because you've already lived it.
1:03:18
SPEAKER_00: You lived it in your imagination.
1:03:20
SPEAKER_00: You already got all the dopamine hit.
1:03:21
SPEAKER_00: Why the hell would I start tomorrow?
1:03:23
SPEAKER_00: Try not to do that.
1:03:25
SPEAKER_00: Try to just start, start right now.
1:03:27
SPEAKER_00: At this moment, you're watching this, if that's a big deal.
1:03:31
SPEAKER_00: Thank you very much.
1:03:32
SPEAKER_00: Looks like we got uh something ending here.
1:03:34
SPEAKER_00: Let me get back to this.
1:03:38
SPEAKER_00: Just just start right now.
1:03:40
SPEAKER_00: If if you got some body fat to get off and it's it's it's just bugging the hell out of you, maybe it's a lot.
1:03:46
SPEAKER_00: Just start tomorrow.
1:03:46
SPEAKER_00: Meat, eggs, fish.
1:03:48
SPEAKER_00: Meat, eggs, fish.
1:03:50
SPEAKER_00: Avocados, maybe some avocados.
1:03:53
SPEAKER_00: But don't, you know, you and and of that type of food, it's not easy to eat stuff so much until your gut's distended.
1:04:00
SPEAKER_00: That's the other thing.
1:04:01
SPEAKER_00: I like that feeling of my gut feeling I was gonna pop.
1:04:05
SPEAKER_00: I liked that.
1:04:07
SPEAKER_00: That's another addiction we need to put to rest.
1:04:10
SPEAKER_00: All right.
1:04:10
SPEAKER_00: I'd uh start a website, thelastaddiction.com.
1:04:13
SPEAKER_00: You can check that out, thelastaddiction.com.
1:04:16
SPEAKER_00: It's it's free.
1:04:17
SPEAKER_00: I don't think I have anything on there to sell.
1:04:19
SPEAKER_00: I I'm still working on trying to sell stuff, but uh that's why I still want to get health insurance.
1:04:24
SPEAKER_00: And someday, someday it's gonna work.
1:04:26
SPEAKER_00: And it's gonna work for you too, so don't give up.
1:04:28
SPEAKER_00: I'm 57.
1:04:29
SPEAKER_00: For God's sakes, you got this.
1:04:31
SPEAKER_00: Your money, their decision.
1:04:32
SPEAKER_00: So if you have a pension, somebody else decides where it's invested for my for my boomers out there and people in my generation, Gen Xers, the cops I used to work with, fire department, uh, EMT people.
1:04:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know what to tell you.
1:04:45
SPEAKER_00: This is uh this is very interesting.
1:04:47
SPEAKER_00: If I had a pension, I don't even know what I'd do.
1:04:50
SPEAKER_00: I'd I'd probably be happier than twins.
1:04:53
SPEAKER_00: But if I had a pension and I was watching the way that my pension wasn't controlled, it was just being fed in.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_00: I just I just don't want your pension to be used to buy out and bail out anybody if that's what's going to end up going to happen.
1:05:08
SPEAKER_00: The people that are building out all the AI technology, is it a case that your pension could be used to buy out those early investors to get them paid back so they don't lose their ass?
1:05:19
SPEAKER_00: And these are the people I was talking about earlier, the ones with the friends, the dorm rooms, the MITs, the Berkeleys, the Stanfords, the people that are on.
1:05:27
SPEAKER_00: You know, I I don't know where you were back in the 90s.
1:05:30
SPEAKER_00: I was playing LAPD cop, transplanting from New Mexico out here.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_00: I'd never seen such amazing sights and experiences than I did back then.
1:05:40
SPEAKER_00: And it was amazing.
1:05:42
SPEAKER_00: But that's what I was doing.
1:05:43
SPEAKER_00: I wasn't buying into companies or having somebody come and tell me about their next cold fusion idea and able to spend, you know, 150 bucks buying into it, making billions of dollars on the other end.
1:05:55
SPEAKER_00: That's right place, right time, and good for them.
1:05:57
SPEAKER_00: Thank God capitalism works.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_00: And for those of you who think we should take all their wealth from, well, you know, they they earned it.
1:06:05
SPEAKER_00: It's not the same as the veteran that's, you know, saving babies in Argentina.
1:06:10
SPEAKER_00: I don't even know if we need to say babies in Argentina, but you get the idea.
1:06:13
SPEAKER_00: It's not that.
1:06:15
SPEAKER_00: It's just different.
1:06:17
SPEAKER_00: And it always seems like we shit on the people that protect and serve people a lot faster than we do because we're honoring Hollywood.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_00: You know what China does?
1:06:26
SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
1:06:27
SPEAKER_00: China.
1:06:28
SPEAKER_00: China.
1:06:28
SPEAKER_00: We're all worried about China.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_00: We got to hurry up and build this AI thing before China does.
1:06:33
SPEAKER_00: We're about six months.
1:06:35
SPEAKER_00: No, they're about six months behind us.
1:06:37
SPEAKER_00: What does that mean?
1:06:38
SPEAKER_00: Did you hear about that cat at the airport that got popped with all those chips to try to take to China?
1:06:43
SPEAKER_00: The thing is, they're six months behind.
1:06:45
SPEAKER_00: That might as well be 600 years.
1:06:48
SPEAKER_00: Now, they're smart, and the problem with that is smart sometimes wins, and they're smart in such a way where they worship the scientist.
1:06:58
SPEAKER_00: And us Americans, America, we worship the Hollywood actor.
1:07:03
SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
1:07:05
SPEAKER_00: So that's that's a little bit of a difference.
1:07:07
SPEAKER_00: And when you apply that on a massive scale, thanks, Daryl, for hanging in there.
1:07:11
SPEAKER_00: When you apply that at a massive scale, it's it's remarkable.
1:07:15
SPEAKER_00: And I think that, hey Daryl, welcome.
1:07:17
SPEAKER_00: I think that's a problem.
1:07:19
SPEAKER_00: So, all right.
1:07:20
SPEAKER_00: It's your money.
1:07:21
SPEAKER_00: Look into your pension, see what's going to happen to it.
1:07:24
SPEAKER_00: Look at the study of the railroads.
1:07:26
SPEAKER_00: The railroads, the first early adopters into the railroads lost their ass.
1:07:31
SPEAKER_00: The people that were the early adopters into the internet lost their ass.
1:07:36
SPEAKER_00: The first ones, but sometimes you got those first people in, the people that had all the buddies at Stanford, MIT, and all these places, the real smart people, right?
1:07:44
SPEAKER_00: With the right circle of friends, the brainiacs, and they bought into this stuff.
1:07:48
SPEAKER_00: They had good investment strategies.
1:07:50
SPEAKER_00: They were able to get out right before the bubble burst.
1:07:54
SPEAKER_00: And they were able to get out by using pensions, by using various modalities in the stock market and other uh other massive companies that were able to buy in.
1:08:05
SPEAKER_00: So they were able to get out, recoup their damage, grab their money, all of their money, and then the other company failed because that's when the collapse happened.
1:08:14
SPEAKER_00: Track all that, please.
1:08:16
SPEAKER_00: If you got money in there, I'm I'm easy.
1:08:18
SPEAKER_00: I still want to get health insurance, medical insurance, so I don't have a lot to track.
1:08:21
SPEAKER_00: Maybe you got pensions, maybe you got investments, maybe you got all this fancy stuff.
1:08:25
SPEAKER_00: Watch this.
1:08:26
SPEAKER_00: Protect yourself however best you can.
1:08:29
SPEAKER_00: Please.
1:08:30
SPEAKER_00: Halfway, all right.
1:08:32
SPEAKER_00: So we did that.
1:08:35
SPEAKER_00: Um, if you haven't done this, whenever you're watching people talk about AI, find out their alignment.
1:08:40
SPEAKER_00: Are they one of those people I talked about that have all the money in?
1:08:43
SPEAKER_00: And God, these people are so happy.
1:08:45
SPEAKER_00: Holy hell.
1:08:46
SPEAKER_00: It's gonna happen.
1:08:47
SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be amazing.
1:08:48
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna we're gonna end up making all this money.
1:08:51
SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of other people to think about.
1:08:55
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I just don't want the bottom 25% whacked off the planet.
1:08:59
SPEAKER_00: That that just doesn't make sense.
1:09:02
SPEAKER_00: But if you if you climb down some of these rabbit holes, it seems like that's what that's what they want.
1:09:07
SPEAKER_00: Now, all that could be BS2 to keep us fearful so we don't level up ourselves.
1:09:16
SPEAKER_00: Have some quiet time, please.
1:09:18
SPEAKER_00: Have a moment where you're not attached to all this crap.
1:09:21
SPEAKER_00: Have a moment with your phone isn't around you.
1:09:23
SPEAKER_00: Take 10 minutes every day, please, and face east and sit in a chair and just close your eyes and just breathe and just listen to your breathing and do that for 10 minutes a day, and it's gonna suck.
1:09:35
SPEAKER_00: And you might only get five or six seconds of thinking about breathing because you're thinking about these 500 other things going around.
1:09:41
SPEAKER_00: But you got to do this every day.
1:09:43
SPEAKER_00: Just like you gotta try to get away from the stuff in a bag with a wrapper and with an ingredient list.
1:09:48
SPEAKER_00: You gotta get away from that.
1:09:49
SPEAKER_00: Take care of yourself.
1:09:50
SPEAKER_00: You know what?
1:09:51
SPEAKER_00: Nobody's coming to save you.
1:09:53
SPEAKER_00: Nobody's coming to save me.
1:09:55
SPEAKER_00: Nobody's gonna save us.
1:09:56
SPEAKER_00: We gotta save ourselves.
1:09:57
SPEAKER_00: We got to take advantage of the moment.
1:09:59
SPEAKER_00: We gotta do our best.
1:10:00
SPEAKER_00: All right.
1:10:00
SPEAKER_00: That's it.
1:10:01
SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening.
1:10:02
SPEAKER_00: I went on and on.
1:10:03
SPEAKER_00: You guys are great.
1:10:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm I I gotta go take care of this pimple.
1:10:06
SPEAKER_00: You guys are fantastic.
1:10:08
SPEAKER_00: Sorry to be so real with you.
1:10:09
SPEAKER_00: Well, we'll see you tomorrow.
1:10:10
SPEAKER_00: And same time, same bat channel, Connor McIver.
1:10:14
SPEAKER_00: And uh thanks for all the happiness and love and everything else.
1:10:17
SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you guys stayed as long as you did.
1:10:20
SPEAKER_00: All right, we'll see you tomorrow.
1:10:21
SPEAKER_00: Thanks for watching.
