- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Pinky Boo Hauntings. I'll be
- 0:29Speaker 1: your witchy host shy, and I'll be your guide to
- 0:32Speaker 1: all things paranormal, weird and spooky. Well, guys, how are
- 0:42Speaker 1: we doing? Things are certainly insane right now, aren't they.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I know it might seem hopeless, and we're all tired
- 0:52Speaker 1: of this madness, but please try not to give up hope,
- 0:56Speaker 1: and definitely don't stop fighting. That's how we lose. Right now,
- 1:05Speaker 1: We're in the part of a bug's life where we
- 1:08Speaker 1: are the ants, and we got to remember that the
- 1:12Speaker 1: grasshoppers need us, not the other way around. I always
- 1:18Speaker 1: loved that movie. It, along with a lot of the
- 1:21Speaker 1: other ones I grew up with, all reminded me that
- 1:24Speaker 1: as long as we stick together and never give up,
- 1:28Speaker 1: we don't lose. And hey, try to remember, when a
- 1:33Speaker 1: rat is cornered, it fights for its life, So keep
- 1:38Speaker 1: that pressure on that rat. I know I'm mixing metaphors,
- 1:42Speaker 1: but you know what I mean. Also, if you're a witch,
- 1:48Speaker 1: you know what to do. I'm so tired of this
- 1:51Speaker 1: place right now, so why don't we forget about it
- 1:55Speaker 1: and visit the paranormal world instead? Maybe it will help
- 1:59Speaker 1: us all recharge a little, because if you get too
- 2:02Speaker 1: tired and worn out, you can't keep fighting, right. So
- 2:08Speaker 1: let's get on to our first one. It's called Haunted
- 2:12Speaker 1: Room at the don Cezar Hotel. Around two thousand and four,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I took my then fiance to the don Cesar for
- 2:21Speaker 1: an extended weekend getaway. This is a very old hotel
- 2:26Speaker 1: that was used as a mental hospital for some years
- 2:29Speaker 1: after its initial heyday as a grand resort. After that,
- 2:34Speaker 1: it was vacant for some time before being renovated and
- 2:38Speaker 1: reopened as a hotel. So I wanted to look this
- 2:42Speaker 1: place up because I didn't realize I actually knew this hotel.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I just didn't know it by this name. I just
- 2:51Speaker 1: always thought it was called the Pink Palace. Also, I
- 2:54Speaker 1: can't believe this place was a mental hospital at one time.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Should I do a deep dive on this place cause
- 3:02Speaker 1: I didn't even know this place was haunted. I am
- 3:07Speaker 1: highly allergic to cigarette smoke and had reserved a non
- 3:10Speaker 1: smoking room. Oh my god, do you guys remember this
- 3:14Speaker 1: shit that if you didn't want to pay for other
- 3:17Speaker 1: people's bad habits, you had to make sure you got
- 3:21Speaker 1: a non smoking room. I remember when my parents would
- 3:24Speaker 1: get annoyed when we had to stay in one of
- 3:26Speaker 1: those rooms. I'm so happy that shit isn't the norm anymore.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It's better for everyone. Sorry for that tangent. Let's get
- 3:35Speaker 1: back to the story. Although we arrived after checking time,
- 3:39Speaker 1: our room was not ready. We were invited to wait
- 3:43Speaker 1: at the bar and were cops some cocktails while we waited.
- 3:47Speaker 1: After about forty five minutes, the concierge came to us
- 3:52Speaker 1: and told us our room was ready. We get up
- 3:55Speaker 1: to our room, and as soon as I walk in,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I could tell someone recently smoked in here. I immediately
- 4:03Speaker 1: began having an allergic reaction and I told my future
- 4:06Speaker 1: wife not to even unpack and I would go to
- 4:10Speaker 1: get another room. See what I mean. Smokers might be
- 4:13Speaker 1: pissed about how things are, but again, we all shouldn't
- 4:17Speaker 1: have to pay for your bad habit, especially someone that
- 4:21Speaker 1: is allergic to it. I went to the front desk
- 4:25Speaker 1: and told them there was a strong cigarette odor in
- 4:29Speaker 1: the room and we would not be able to stay
- 4:32Speaker 1: in it. My message was relayed to the manager on
- 4:35Speaker 1: duty and he came out to speak with me. He
- 4:39Speaker 1: seemed to really really want to keep me in that
- 4:42Speaker 1: room they had given me, offering to treat it with
- 4:46Speaker 1: air and carpet refreshers, but I explained that it was
- 4:50Speaker 1: a medical issue and I had to have a non
- 4:54Speaker 1: smoking room. We ended up waiting another forty five minutes
- 4:58Speaker 1: or so while another room was being prepared. Wait. I
- 5:04Speaker 1: just realized that maybe that cigarette odor could be paranormal,
- 5:09Speaker 1: though maybe not, because he did have an actual reaction.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I don't think phantom smoke smells could do that. The
- 5:19Speaker 1: manager is just being suss already. I was pleased when
- 5:24Speaker 1: we got to it because the room offered a lovely
- 5:28Speaker 1: view of the water and beach, and there was no
- 5:31Speaker 1: discernible trace of cigarette smoke. Never mind, maybe he just
- 5:36Speaker 1: didn't want you to have the nicer room. He was
- 5:39Speaker 1: being suspicious just for a less paranormal reason. Probably. There
- 5:46Speaker 1: was a ceiling fan in the room, controlled by a
- 5:49Speaker 1: wall switch with settings for three speeds and off. Before
- 5:54Speaker 1: we went to bed, I had set the fan on
- 5:57Speaker 1: the lowest speed around to a I awoke with a
- 6:01Speaker 1: feeling that something was a miss. The air conditioner was running,
- 6:07Speaker 1: but the room felt much colder than it should have,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and the ceiling fan that had been slowly turning when
- 6:15Speaker 1: I went to sleep, was now turning as if it
- 6:18Speaker 1: was on high. My fiance was sleeping through all of this.
- 6:24Speaker 1: One thing that kind of annoys me about experiences is
- 6:27Speaker 1: that a lot of the time, which is why I'm
- 6:30Speaker 1: always happy when others see the same thing or experience
- 6:34Speaker 1: the same shit as me. It's like the paranormal wants
- 6:39Speaker 1: you to feel crazy. Well, I guess some things do,
- 6:43Speaker 1: but you know what I mean. But as I lay
- 6:47Speaker 1: there on the bed, the ceiling fan begins turning faster
- 6:51Speaker 1: and faster. It got to the point that it was
- 6:55Speaker 1: turning so fast it seemed it would break loose and
- 6:59Speaker 1: go spway. Finally, I got out of bed and turned
- 7:04Speaker 1: it off, but even after turning it off, the fan
- 7:08Speaker 1: kept running at breakneck speeds. I went back to bed
- 7:13Speaker 1: and began silently praying in opposition to whatever was causing
- 7:17Speaker 1: this fan to run. As I prayed, the fan began
- 7:22Speaker 1: slowing down even though it was still turned off, and
- 7:27Speaker 1: I fell asleep. When I awoke, it was daylight and
- 7:32Speaker 1: the fan was not running. We began getting showered and dressed,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and I made no mention of the ceiling fan to
- 7:40Speaker 1: my fiance. I mean, I don't blame you. You probably
- 7:45Speaker 1: felt crazy at the time. While I was in the
- 7:49Speaker 1: bathroom shaving, I distinctly heard a voice from the other
- 7:54Speaker 1: side of the bathroom while yell get me out of here.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I later to see if there was another room abutting
- 8:02Speaker 1: the bathroom of our room, but there was not. Man,
- 8:09Speaker 1: whoever that was, really was messing with you. Huh. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: don't really know what to say about this. It's weird,
- 8:17Speaker 1: for sure, And I do believe some of the most
- 8:21Speaker 1: haunted places are hotels, hospitals, and nursing homes, because all
- 8:27Speaker 1: three of those places have a lot of souls that
- 8:29Speaker 1: pass in those buildings. Oh you know what, I forgot
- 8:34Speaker 1: that this place was also a mental hospital. So yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 1: this place was two out of the three. Technically, that
- 8:43Speaker 1: actually makes a lot more sense. Why you'd hear get
- 8:46Speaker 1: me out of here? Yeah, that place had no chance
- 8:50Speaker 1: but to be haunted. Oh and you know what, maybe
- 8:54Speaker 1: I was right the first time about the manager, except
- 8:57Speaker 1: it wasn't about the first room, but the one you
- 8:59Speaker 1: ended up in. They didn't want you to experience anything
- 9:03Speaker 1: in there. Now, let's move on from this hotel and
- 9:08Speaker 1: onto a possible haunted house. This one is called is
- 9:12Speaker 1: my house? Haunted or is it a poultrygeist or am
- 9:15Speaker 1: I imagining it? It seems to be slowly escalating. Not
- 9:20Speaker 1: sure what to think of this, but I'm pretty convinced
- 9:23Speaker 1: there's something here in my house background. My house was
- 9:28Speaker 1: built in nineteen seventy. I live in Port Saint Lucy, Florida.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh shit, I didn't realize this one was in Florida too.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I had to go look and see if the Pink
- 9:40Speaker 1: Palace was in the same city because it would have
- 9:43Speaker 1: been funny. It's not, by the way. It's a two bedroom,
- 9:49Speaker 1: two bath, single story bungalow thirteen hundred square feet. Damn.
- 9:55Speaker 1: This is kind of feeling like a listing right now.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm the fourth owner so far. I live alone, I'm engaged.
- 10:04Speaker 1: My fiance lives overseas for the moment. No kids. It
- 10:09Speaker 1: was completely renovated a few months before I bought the
- 10:12Speaker 1: house four years ago, three years and eight months. I
- 10:18Speaker 1: know it was used as a rental for a while too.
- 10:23Speaker 1: This might be mean, but I really don't like the
- 10:25Speaker 1: way they typed this out. It feels so cold in
- 10:28Speaker 1: just all details, no fun. All right, guys, we're about
- 10:32Speaker 1: to deal with the list. I'm sorry. One This was
- 10:37Speaker 1: the first thing I noticed, about three weeks after I
- 10:40Speaker 1: bought the house. When I go to bed every night,
- 10:44Speaker 1: I close the door to my bedroom. The event sometimes rarer.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Now I'll wake up in the morning and the bedroom
- 10:54Speaker 1: door is locked completely, but enough where I can't open
- 10:58Speaker 1: the door. Two second thing I noticed I felt redundant
- 11:06Speaker 1: started about six months after moving in. I usually exit
- 11:11Speaker 1: my house through the door to my garage. I never
- 11:15Speaker 1: dead bolt or lock it because the garage doors are
- 11:19Speaker 1: all locked tight and my washer and dryer are in it.
- 11:25Speaker 1: The event, sometimes when I go out the door, it'll
- 11:29Speaker 1: slam the doorframe behind me. When I look back to
- 11:32Speaker 1: see why, the entire dead bulb has been turned out
- 11:37Speaker 1: slamming against the doorframe. I don't know how to explain this,
- 11:43Speaker 1: but this dude feels like an accountant with how they
- 11:46Speaker 1: typed this out. It's just so straightforward and boring. How
- 11:51Speaker 1: do you make paranormal experiences sound bland? Three? This started
- 11:59Speaker 1: happening about two year years ago. My house has a
- 12:02Speaker 1: very low pitch attic. There is about three and a
- 12:05Speaker 1: half feet of space between me and it's constantly crisscross
- 12:09Speaker 1: by trustus no room to store anything on rare occasions,
- 12:16Speaker 1: about three to four times a year. The event, I'll
- 12:21Speaker 1: hear a kathump, kathump, kathump of someone walking above my
- 12:26Speaker 1: ceiling up and down the house. Four. This started just recently,
- 12:33Speaker 1: about three to four weeks ago. Happens about twice a week.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I'm just starting to notice a pattern. My living room
- 12:42Speaker 1: and kitchen open concept, are next to the garage. My
- 12:49Speaker 1: living room has a bay window with ice glass. Lots
- 12:54Speaker 1: of people walk, walk, dogs, and run on my street.
- 13:00Speaker 1: The event Occasionally I'll see a shadow go by my
- 13:05Speaker 1: window of what seems like a person. I'll get up
- 13:10Speaker 1: to see who it is. In every case except for one,
- 13:15Speaker 1: there's no one there. Like I mean, the street is empty.
- 13:19Speaker 1: The shape is like a brief shadow, varying distances. Creepiness
- 13:25Speaker 1: increased a lot below five. This one started happening two
- 13:32Speaker 1: Christmases ago. I was never a set up Christmas lights guy.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I'm not surprised you sound boring. Sorry that was kind
- 13:41Speaker 1: of mean, but I do not trust anyone that doesn't
- 13:45Speaker 1: want to put up Christmas lights. It might be a
- 13:48Speaker 1: lot of work, but it's so worth it. But I
- 13:53Speaker 1: decided I should do at least something, so I went
- 13:56Speaker 1: to Target and bought ten candles that you plug into
- 14:00Speaker 1: an outlet below each window. I got the cheapest ones,
- 14:05Speaker 1: no timer, because I only have seven windows. Takes a
- 14:10Speaker 1: minute to plug them all in for the whole house.
- 14:13Speaker 1: The event, Every single night, the candles turned themselves on,
- 14:19Speaker 1: one at a time at precisely seven pm on the dot.
- 14:26Speaker 1: At seven oh one they were all on. Then at
- 14:30Speaker 1: precisely six am they would all turn off, one at
- 14:34Speaker 1: a time. Six oh one am they were all off.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I immediately took them apart, nothing but a light, spring,
- 14:44Speaker 1: battery connectors, a power cord, and a bulb. I originally
- 14:50Speaker 1: installed them at five pm on the day I put
- 14:53Speaker 1: them on last Christmas. I was too spook to put
- 14:58Speaker 1: them out again. Okay, I'm not gonna lie. That actually
- 15:02Speaker 1: is pretty weird. Six. This happens infrequently. It's pretty random.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Sometimes it's four times a week. Other times it doesn't
- 15:14Speaker 1: happen for two months. It started almost immediately after I
- 15:18Speaker 1: moved in. It always happens at night in the dark.
- 15:23Speaker 1: The event. My bed will shake when I'm lying in it.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It'll shake side to side, not much, just a half
- 15:32Speaker 1: an inch or so, but it's immediately noticeable. It feels
- 15:38Speaker 1: like a kid shaking the mattress to get a parent
- 15:41Speaker 1: to wake up, just being able to move it a
- 15:44Speaker 1: little bit. Oh, you know what I was gonna say
- 15:48Speaker 1: just a minute ago, but didn't because I was gonna
- 15:51Speaker 1: say something mean again, but this was starting to make
- 15:55Speaker 1: me think it was a kid messing with him. It
- 15:59Speaker 1: lasts for anywhere from thirty seconds to three to four minutes.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It also usually only tends to happen when I play
- 16:07Speaker 1: my rain Machine. If I put my TV on, it
- 16:11Speaker 1: never happens, so clearly the kid doesn't like the rain
- 16:15Speaker 1: machine and wanted to watch some TV. Seven. This has
- 16:21Speaker 1: only happened three times, all of them in twenty twenty five.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I sleep on my side because of a back injury
- 16:29Speaker 1: I've had in the past. Left or right side doesn't matter,
- 16:34Speaker 1: but usually on my right side. The event I've felt
- 16:38Speaker 1: a weight on the mattress because I can feel it
- 16:41Speaker 1: pushed down causing a space between my leg kind of
- 16:45Speaker 1: like a twenty pound medium sized medicine ball is being
- 16:49Speaker 1: placed there. It lasts a few minutes and my legs
- 16:54Speaker 1: go cold. Eight. This has only happened one time. It
- 17:00Speaker 1: was in conjunction with both of the two events above
- 17:03Speaker 1: this one. It happened in December twenty twenty five, mid December,
- 17:09Speaker 1: at night, about nine p m. The event, I was
- 17:14Speaker 1: using my rain machine. Then a few minutes later I
- 17:18Speaker 1: felt the bed start to do it shaking. Then I
- 17:21Speaker 1: felt the weight give away under my legs, and then
- 17:24Speaker 1: it got cold. Then came the growl. It was quick.
- 17:30Speaker 1: If I hadn't sneezed, I would have missed it. It
- 17:33Speaker 1: was only for two seconds, like a dog growl, deep
- 17:37Speaker 1: and throaty. I turned on my light, walked around my house,
- 17:41Speaker 1: then I slept on the couch. What do you all think? Now?
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm sure with that last experience, people are gonna jump
- 17:48Speaker 1: right to demon but I'm sticking with my gut filling.
- 17:53Speaker 1: This really just sounds like a kid having fun and
- 17:55Speaker 1: messing with an adult. I know the growl could be
- 18:00Speaker 1: really scary, but kids do shit like that sometimes, not
- 18:04Speaker 1: really to be mean, but just to play with you
- 18:07Speaker 1: or get your attention. And with everything else, I'd say
- 18:12Speaker 1: they're just trying to get your attention and have fun
- 18:15Speaker 1: with you. But if you don't want to deal with
- 18:18Speaker 1: any of it, try putting your foot down and telling
- 18:21Speaker 1: them you're not okay with this that they need to
- 18:25Speaker 1: stop with the pranks and leave you alone. Just try
- 18:30Speaker 1: to remember it does seem to be a kid, so
- 18:33Speaker 1: be nice. You don't have to scream and yell at
- 18:36Speaker 1: them like you're Zach. Begin's all right, guys, Let's move
- 18:43Speaker 1: on to our last story because I don't know how
- 18:46Speaker 1: to smoothly transition into it. The story is called The
- 18:50Speaker 1: Scariest Shit Happened to Me Last Night. I was in
- 18:54Speaker 1: bed last night, no lights were on, and my door
- 18:57Speaker 1: was closed. Keep in mind, I was still awake, and
- 19:01Speaker 1: I am absolutely positive it wasn't in my head. My
- 19:07Speaker 1: door creaks open, It's pitch black, and I see a
- 19:10Speaker 1: literal silhouette of a seven foot tall man with no
- 19:14Speaker 1: face whatsoever, standing in the doorway. I started panicking, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: then I noticed some sort of child's hand reaching for
- 19:24Speaker 1: the light switch. So I got up, turned on my lamp,
- 19:29Speaker 1: and the door closed like nothing happened. My family doesn't
- 19:34Speaker 1: believe me. They say it's sleep paralysis, but I don't
- 19:39Speaker 1: believe it. I wasn't asleep at the time. Nothing else
- 19:43Speaker 1: has happened ever since I saw that. Any ideas and
- 19:47Speaker 1: what it could have been that definitely wasn't sleep paralysis
- 19:53Speaker 1: with how easily you could get up and turn on
- 19:56Speaker 1: the light. I promise that's not how it works. I've
- 20:01Speaker 1: had sleep paralysis when I was a kid, and while
- 20:03Speaker 1: you feel awake, it always feels off like you partly
- 20:08Speaker 1: feel asleep and you can't move like at all. So
- 20:14Speaker 1: this just doesn't sound like that. I really do believe
- 20:18Speaker 1: you saw something what I don't know, but you should
- 20:21Speaker 1: probably do some protections of some kind just to be safe.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Even if these spirits are nothing bad, it can't hurt
- 20:29Speaker 1: because you don't know what they're doing, and why wait
- 20:33Speaker 1: to find out. I'm also sorry your family didn't believe you,
- 20:38Speaker 1: but sadly that happens more than it should. We believe
- 20:43Speaker 1: you here though. That's all I have for today. I
- 20:49Speaker 1: hope you enjoyed and didn't get too spookeed. Oh and
- 20:53Speaker 1: please remember to stay strong cause we'll come out of
- 20:56Speaker 1: this better on the other side. Also, please rate and
- 21:01Speaker 1: review the podcasts. It really helps us grow and now
- 21:04Speaker 1: more than ever, we really need a fun, safe space
- 21:08Speaker 1: to enjoy the paranormal. If you're on YouTube, do the
- 21:12Speaker 1: YouTube things, of course, and if you have a paranormal
- 21:15Speaker 1: story of your own, email it to me. The email
- 21:18Speaker 1: will be in the show notes below, but for now
- 21:22Speaker 1: the coven is adjourned. See ye next time by
