- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice for sure.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's time nice.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, welcome to the Nordy but nice sham your
- 0:18Speaker 1: hands from shooter. It's Friday, which means I do friend Corey.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Andrew joins us. Hey Corey, are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 2: I am here everyone, Happy Friday.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Happy Friday. Darling. Yesterday with LOOPO, he called in, so
- 0:32Speaker 1: we got a few notes. Yesterday, I got a few notes,
- 0:34Speaker 1: and I love the feedback. Always sent me your notes,
- 0:36Speaker 1: but it was quite difficult to hear Mark, so I'm
- 0:38Speaker 1: sorry about that. It's just the connection was a little odd,
- 0:41Speaker 1: but I definitely wanted him to be on the show.
- 0:44Speaker 1: So Corey, I'm so happy you are here today, and
- 0:47Speaker 1: thank you for your notes. If you have any comments,
- 0:49Speaker 1: you know to reach out to me. You don't hurt
- 0:50Speaker 1: my feelings, you really don't. In fact, this is your
- 0:52Speaker 1: show as much as it is mine, and so you
- 0:55Speaker 1: have an opinion and you're right, and technical stuff happens,
- 0:58Speaker 1: let us know so we can fix it. So thank
- 1:00Speaker 1: you for all those notes. Hopefully today will be much better.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I can't guarantee it. Technical thing, it's not the thing
- 1:07Speaker 1: I'm great at the gossip Cory, but technically it's a miracle.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We get this show on.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Staffy.
- 1:15Speaker 1: When we first started the Naughty but Nice Show, we'd
- 1:17Speaker 1: get an iHeart and they it was just so expensive.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Our show didn't make enough money to warrant that team.
- 1:25Speaker 1: And so we learned how the pandemic happened. So we
- 1:27Speaker 1: learned sort of land to do it ourselves at home.
- 1:30Speaker 1: So things, I'm always grateful. Thank you for your notes.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:35Speaker 1: It is? So there's alarming footage now at Britney Spears
- 1:39Speaker 1: in that d u I arrest. Remember a couple of
- 1:41Speaker 1: weeks ago that d u I arrest. Well, now the
- 1:44Speaker 1: police have released that the camera footage. It's really alarming.
- 1:48Speaker 1: At one point, Brittany is offering the cops to come
- 1:51Speaker 1: over to her house for lasagna and to take a
- 1:53Speaker 1: dip in her pool. I don't think she's bribing them.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I think she's just spinning out of control. At one
- 1:59Speaker 1: point she's crying. Then she screams that she feels harassed,
- 2:02Speaker 1: that she's invaded. She wouldn't get out of the car.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's a really really ugly scene and it's a scene
- 2:09Speaker 1: of mental health issues that is so uncomfortable to watch.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And I think that's why this Britney Spear story it's
- 2:16Speaker 1: so big, because this is who Britney is. We're finally
- 2:19Speaker 1: getting to see the truth after years, after decades of
- 2:23Speaker 1: pr skin, carefully managed photo shoots, carefully managed interviews, appearances,
- 2:28Speaker 1: that was never the real Britney, That what we think
- 2:33Speaker 1: was the real Brittany was all a lie. This is
- 2:35Speaker 1: the real Brittany. I worked with Brittany over twenty years ago.
- 2:38Speaker 1: She was messy. The same with Whitney Houston. When I
- 2:40Speaker 1: was working with Alicia Keys. I remember being at Clive
- 2:43Speaker 1: Davis's party, his grammy party, and Whitney was singing at
- 2:46Speaker 1: the party, so it was Alisia and I went to
- 2:48Speaker 1: the rehearsals and Whitney was a mess, like just and
- 2:51Speaker 1: the Whitney in my mind is polished, that perfect princess,
- 2:56Speaker 1: princess Ah. She was just and it wasn't the truth.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And it's it's really hard in life. I get this,
- 3:01Speaker 1: forget celebrities. It's hard when you realize a friend or
- 3:04Speaker 1: someone in your family is not who you think they are.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Let me be really clear, naughties, I hope I'm not
- 3:11Speaker 1: breaking any illusions. This is Brittany. Brittany has always been
- 3:15Speaker 1: somebody that has struggled. She's always been somebody that has
- 3:18Speaker 1: been messy. And the image that we were sold about Brittany,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it just was never true. It wasn't true, then not true.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Now this is who she is. So if you want
- 3:26Speaker 1: her to change, she won't. This is being authentic. We
- 3:30Speaker 1: talk all the time on the show about being got authentic.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Watch the video. It's hard to watch, yeah, but that's
- 3:36Speaker 1: who Britney is, day in day out. She was frightened
- 3:40Speaker 1: when the police pulled her over. She said she was
- 3:42Speaker 1: being harassed. Then she tried to charm them. She was
- 3:45Speaker 1: almost flirting with them a little bit, inviting them over
- 3:48Speaker 1: to her house. In seeing somebody with mental health issues
- 3:52Speaker 1: in a really difficult position, and it's awful. It took
- 3:56Speaker 1: me several attempts to watch the whole video, so wildly uncomfortable,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and I'm glad as a society now we don't make
- 4:04Speaker 1: fun of that. It's just so sad. But I don't know, Corey,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I don't know what the solution is. What do you
- 4:11Speaker 1: think about all this?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Well, you know we spoke about this, as you mentioned,
- 4:14Speaker 2: two weeks ago or so, and you know, I was
- 4:17Speaker 2: very cut and dry. I mean, either she gets help,
- 4:21Speaker 2: gets the proper help that will handle the mental health
- 4:23Speaker 2: issues and the substance issues simultaneously. Because she's got a
- 4:27Speaker 2: two pronged problem. That's the only option, or the other
- 4:31Speaker 2: option is the most dire scenario.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You cannot continue to live like that.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Eventually, either you're going to overdose. You're either going to
- 4:40Speaker 2: drink yourself to death. You're either going to cause bodily harm,
- 4:42Speaker 2: whether it be accidental or you know, through some sort
- 4:47Speaker 2: of harm to yourself that you maybe intentionally bring about.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I mean, there's no really positive scenario unless she gets
- 4:55Speaker 2: the help she needs. So it is really terrifying, and
- 4:57Speaker 2: especially when you think about she told the cops, which
- 5:00Speaker 2: was the most incriminating thing, how she could, oh, I
- 5:03Speaker 2: could drink four bottles of wine and be okay, which
- 5:07Speaker 2: is not something you even want to suggest to believe
- 5:10Speaker 2: that you do. So she's just not really mentally there.
- 5:13Speaker 2: She needs to help, And you bring up a great point.
- 5:15Speaker 2: She's always been this, but the problem is she was
- 5:19Speaker 2: responsible for the livelihood of so many people. They were
- 5:25Speaker 2: never going to disrupt that gravy train and fix it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So she was the cash caw. She was the absolute
- 5:32Speaker 1: cash car. It is heartbreaking to watch. It is shocking
- 5:36Speaker 1: when you see somebody in this state, which I'm told
- 5:40Speaker 1: is more than norm This is how she is day
- 5:43Speaker 1: to day. I don't know how she gets up in
- 5:45Speaker 1: the morning and brushes her teeth. I don't know how
- 5:47Speaker 1: she goes downstairs and has some cereal for breakfast. I
- 5:51Speaker 1: don't know how she paused a cup of coffee. She
- 5:53Speaker 1: shouldn't be driving a car. That is very, very very clear.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It is also it brings us to our poll question
- 6:01Speaker 1: of the day. There is new footage of Brittany and
- 6:04Speaker 1: the Dui arrest. It is alarming. It is watching mental
- 6:08Speaker 1: health disintegrate one on one. You are just watching a
- 6:12Speaker 1: scene here that is so so sad. It took me
- 6:15Speaker 1: a couple of attempts to actually get through it. Our
- 6:19Speaker 1: question is can we help Brittany? What what do you think?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Can she get any help? She has turned it down
- 6:27Speaker 1: and she went to rehab after she was arrested. She
- 6:30Speaker 1: didn't go before, and she was not there very long.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And so her father was a conservator for thirteen years.
- 6:37Speaker 1: We wanted the free Britney movement. We were pushing that
- 6:40Speaker 1: and now she's free and now this is the unintended
- 6:43Speaker 1: although I think it was the inevitable results. Is there
- 6:47Speaker 1: anybody that can help Britney Spears? Hey, go vote on
- 6:51Speaker 1: our Twitter page at naughteen niceb our Facebook page Naughty
- 6:54Speaker 1: Gossip and be sure to return on Monday to hear
- 6:58Speaker 1: your results. Hey, Corey Love, are you work it on
- 7:00Speaker 1: the Yes?
- 7:01Speaker 2: So there's an interesting story about Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and I'm kind of struggling with the timeline, so you
- 7:07Speaker 2: let me know what you think about this story. But
- 7:09Speaker 2: Tarantino had given a brutal warning to Brad Pitt, apparently,
- 7:13Speaker 2: which was you'll be dead in this business. Now you know.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Brad may have won an Oscar for once upon a
- 7:18Speaker 2: time in Hollywood, but behind the scenes, Quentin Tarantino gave
- 7:21Speaker 2: the superstar a blistering dressing down that stunned the entire cast. So,
- 7:26Speaker 2: according to Bruce Dern, Tarantino exploded after Pitt allegedly stopped
- 7:31Speaker 2: a take when Dern improvised dialogue that wasn't in the
- 7:35Speaker 2: script that a legendary director warrened Pitt, never again in
- 7:38Speaker 2: your life will you ever cut a camera, or You'll
- 7:41Speaker 2: be dead in this business. It was a very tense moment,
- 7:44Speaker 2: and insiders say the two are still deeply in respect
- 7:48Speaker 2: of each other and they're already teaming up again for
- 7:51Speaker 2: the upcoming Cliff Booth sequel, but in that moment it
- 7:55Speaker 2: was very contentious. Now, I have to say, having been
- 7:58Speaker 2: on film sets and actually movies and stuff, I mean,
- 8:01Speaker 2: nobody yells cut, but the director.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I mean you just you know.
- 8:05Speaker 2: So I don't know what happened, But I think sometimes
- 8:08Speaker 2: when actors improvise and the other actor is not prepared
- 8:12Speaker 2: for it, it is fair for that actor to say,
- 8:15Speaker 2: what the hell are you doing, like you know, or
- 8:19Speaker 2: decide to go with it because you understand their improvising,
- 8:22Speaker 2: but it's an ambush to your fellow actor. So yeah,
- 8:25Speaker 2: I think that Tarantino is the one who should have said, cut,
- 8:29Speaker 2: are we improvising? Let's do that then, because we all
- 8:32Speaker 2: need to know what you're doing.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah, just to clarify, this happened on once upon a
- 8:36Speaker 1: time in Hollywood. So when he said you you will
- 8:38Speaker 1: be dead in the business, Brad was already. Brad was
- 8:41Speaker 1: already So it's sort of like a fazzing to say,
- 8:45Speaker 1: maybe maybe there was a little bit of a joke there.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I remember when we did the pilot for The Gossip Table,
- 8:50Speaker 1: Chloe messed up. Chloe was the most nervous and so
- 8:54Speaker 1: she cut. She cut the show, and it wasn't her
- 8:57Speaker 1: job to say that. On our little podcas we keep going,
- 9:01Speaker 1: like there's some things we edit, but I don't edit
- 9:03Speaker 1: very much at all, And so you've got to keep going.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And so when somebody throws something at you you're not
- 9:10Speaker 1: prepared for, you try to respond and if you fail,
- 9:12Speaker 1: they can cut that out. In yes, then they can
- 9:15Speaker 1: get rid of that response. But you're not the director.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I think this is for me a lesson about staying
- 9:20Speaker 1: in your lane. And it's a problem I have because
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm such a control freak. I want to be in
- 9:24Speaker 1: charge of everything, and it's not my job. I'm not
- 9:27Speaker 1: the director. I'm not in charge of craft services, I'm
- 9:30Speaker 1: not in charge of costumes. I'm not in charge of
- 9:32Speaker 1: the script. And so, like I've learned, and I've become
- 9:35Speaker 1: much more successful on television, podcasting doing what I do
- 9:40Speaker 1: because I know my job is to turn up and
- 9:43Speaker 1: be the talent and deliver the show and leave. I've
- 9:45Speaker 1: got this new project I'm working on. I've not announced
- 9:47Speaker 1: it yet, so I can't give you all the details.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But a new project with iHeartRadio and we taped it
- 9:52Speaker 1: some of it yesterday. I'm just the talent. I turn up,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I sit behind the desk, I hit my lines, I
- 10:00Speaker 1: asked my questions. Yeah, I go home at the end
- 10:03Speaker 1: of the show. The old me would be like, how
- 10:05Speaker 1: are you going to edit that? And can you change that?
- 10:07Speaker 1: And I was like, just shut don't be difficult. I
- 10:11Speaker 1: get that he's Brad Pitt, He's a superstar. With that
- 10:14Speaker 1: comes a lot of power, a lot of opinions. But
- 10:18Speaker 1: Quintin basically was like, this is my job. How are
- 10:20Speaker 1: you doing that as a performer, Coory, Not just as
- 10:23Speaker 1: as a talking head as an expert on shows like this,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but in your own musical career. When you're on stage
- 10:29Speaker 1: performance you have to trust the director and the lighting
- 10:31Speaker 1: guy or do you get involved. No.
- 10:34Speaker 2: What I have learned is that in general, in life,
- 10:36Speaker 2: you raise a great point, you let people be experts
- 10:40Speaker 2: in their field to help you shine. So I'm not
- 10:44Speaker 2: going to be the I mean, you know, Barbara Streisian
- 10:47Speaker 2: is another animal, right, She's going to control differents everything,
- 10:51Speaker 2: But you know, you know, there's a point where you
- 10:53Speaker 2: have to also make sure that people who are in
- 10:55Speaker 2: charge of those things know your vision, and that way
- 10:59Speaker 2: they're able to acute why you focused to your point
- 11:02Speaker 2: on the talent, like, that's what I'm providing, so focus.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I have the light man to do the lights and
- 11:07Speaker 2: the sound. We trust that we hired competent.
- 11:10Speaker 1: People to do it right. Yeah, hire great people. And
- 11:14Speaker 1: you got to say, Quintin's pretty great. So graduate you're
- 11:18Speaker 1: in okay, and the movie was fantastic. Okay, moving along.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Miles Teller is fighting back after a reporter called him
- 11:25Speaker 1: a d ic k. So he did this interview with
- 11:29Speaker 1: Esquire magazine. It was over ten years ago. I think
- 11:32Speaker 1: it was in twenty fifteen, and the writer painted him
- 11:35Speaker 1: as kind of a d ic k, a label that
- 11:38Speaker 1: he insists was unfair and damaging. He claims that the
- 11:41Speaker 1: piece was mishandled, accusing the publication of twisting his words.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I think he was just so new at being a star.
- 11:47Speaker 1: He didn't know how to behave He didn't know how
- 11:49Speaker 1: to do an interview. People think in interviews, when you
- 11:51Speaker 1: just sit down and talk, there's a skill to it.
- 11:53Speaker 1: It's like putting on the show. Yeah, it really is
- 11:56Speaker 1: like doing a performance for a reporter, and he did
- 11:59Speaker 1: not play by those rules. He was surly, he was arrogant,
- 12:02Speaker 1: he was rude, and the reporter responded by writing all
- 12:07Speaker 1: that and so he's not really done a big interview since,
- 12:10Speaker 1: like a decade later. He still says that he's haunted
- 12:13Speaker 1: by it, omitting that negativity does sell faster than kindness.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It's true, that is absolutely true. However, I think this
- 12:21Speaker 1: was mishandled by Miles. And to never do an interview
- 12:24Speaker 1: again because you had a bad one, I'm not sure
- 12:27Speaker 1: that's a real smart movie. Help. Yeah, my friends who
- 12:31Speaker 1: are reporters, they're not had to get you, but they
- 12:34Speaker 1: will reflect if you are a d ic K. What
- 12:37Speaker 1: do you think?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think here is a great point.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It's it's really the newness, the inexperience that I think
- 12:44Speaker 2: he should have been.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And his team.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So this is where again we talk about the team,
- 12:47Speaker 2: the people who are around you. People have to set
- 12:50Speaker 2: you up for a success, because if they don't, they
- 12:53Speaker 2: set you up to fail. And I will give you
- 12:55Speaker 2: perhaps Rob you have been and I want to turn
- 12:57Speaker 2: us into the Rob Happy show. I love it, but
- 13:02Speaker 2: you really have set me up for success. You know
- 13:04Speaker 2: you and and my success is when you have been
- 13:08Speaker 2: a part of it. They're they're shared with you, so
- 13:11Speaker 2: we're together going forward. Yeah, a lot of these young
- 13:14Speaker 2: artists they don't have mentors like that. They just got
- 13:16Speaker 2: the person that want to make them make that money
- 13:19Speaker 2: and give me the money, but they don't put the
- 13:21Speaker 2: time into the development and.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Put the time and they hire the wrong people. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: would never let long interviews with Jennifer Lopez, and she
- 13:27Speaker 1: was much more experienced than Miles tell her, but she's
- 13:30Speaker 1: not great in a long interview. Shorter is better. The
- 13:33Speaker 1: photo shoot should take hours, that's going to be glorious,
- 13:36Speaker 1: but the interview should be forty five minutes. Jennifer is
- 13:38Speaker 1: not going to give you a great interview. It's just
- 13:41Speaker 1: not who she'ld say. No, your skills, know what what
- 13:44Speaker 1: works for you. And blaming reporters. Let's become a little
- 13:49Speaker 1: bit of a trend, hasn't it. We don't want to
- 13:50Speaker 1: get political, but screaming get reporters and screaming at media
- 13:54Speaker 1: and they're the enemy. It's nonsense. It's you, you're the problem. Miles. Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 1: what's going on with Kylie? Jenna, this is a very
- 14:01Speaker 1: interesting term. She has a nickname for Timothy Shallo May. Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and it's very interesting and particularly in the gay community,
- 14:07Speaker 1: this is interesting.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So what does she call Timothy, Well, his weight, his weight,
- 14:13Speaker 2: his body weight is not in that class for me
- 14:15Speaker 2: to be called this. But if she thinks that a
- 14:17Speaker 2: daddy is like one hundred pounds on me, then because
- 14:20Speaker 2: he's a little guy, you know, he's thin. But Kylie Jenner,
- 14:23Speaker 2: she is calling Timothy Schallo May daddy.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And so there was a little.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Interesting thing where she set the Internet into a meltdown
- 14:32Speaker 2: after she publicly was thirsting over her boyfriend Timothy Shallo
- 14:35Speaker 2: May with this one eyebrowsing word and she said daddy.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And so the beauty mogul dropped the cheeky comment under
- 14:41Speaker 2: a page six TikTok that was showing Shallow May arriving
- 14:44Speaker 2: in Madison Square Garden and he was looking freshly grooved
- 14:47Speaker 2: and camera ready for the next playoff game, as all
- 14:50Speaker 2: fans arrived looking like that when they go.
- 14:53Speaker 1: To a game, I guess.
- 14:54Speaker 2: But fans immediately exploded online, calling a moment iconic, which
- 14:58Speaker 2: is a word.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I need you guys to stop using so much. Because
- 15:02Speaker 1: everything okay, but it takes really is iconic.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yes, yes, please monitor your use of that word. But
- 15:09Speaker 2: they were crowding highly the Internet's reigning queen of PDA,
- 15:13Speaker 2: and that's pretty funny.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So I don't know, Rob. I think he's not.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Quite in Daddy's status yet for me, but it works
- 15:19Speaker 2: for her.
- 15:19Speaker 1: What do you think It's not a term that I
- 15:22Speaker 1: would use for Timothy Challo May I could see jacket, Yeah, yeah,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I could see. But I do think it's a state
- 15:32Speaker 1: of mind. Marilyn Monroe used to call her husband's daddy,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and so I know it's not something I do. But
- 15:39Speaker 1: I have some gay friends too who enjoy this. And
- 15:44Speaker 1: I have some straight friends too, and they call their
- 15:46Speaker 1: wives mommy after they've had a baby. Which is which?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Which is yeah? I mean, yeah, that's hi, mommy has mommy.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, I don't know if I would
- 15:56Speaker 1: say that.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I know what's the president has wiped out?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Right? Penn used to got mother was a little strange.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You know, whatever floats your boat if it makes you happy,
- 16:09Speaker 1: My friends, you enjoy it. And we're going to take
- 16:11Speaker 1: a quick break and we will be right back. Welcome
- 16:15Speaker 1: back to the naughty, good nightmare, I'm the host. While
- 16:18Speaker 1: she was with her dear friend Cory Andrew. Hey, Corey,
- 16:20Speaker 1: let's get to the pot walls. Don't Last year we
- 16:23Speaker 1: talked about Meghan Markele stopped at London's Heythrow Airport for
- 16:27Speaker 1: a transfer, so she was in Geneva flying to la
- 16:29Speaker 1: It's a very long flight. Stopped in London for a transfer,
- 16:32Speaker 1: so she was in London for a couple of hours. Well, Meghan,
- 16:34Speaker 1: ever returned to the UK for an extended period, said no,
- 16:39Speaker 1: you don't. I don't think it's going to happen, even
- 16:41Speaker 1: how awkward though now awkward. Although she wanted us to
- 16:45Speaker 1: know she was there, we did not know this until
- 16:48Speaker 1: she posted stuff on social media, So don't feel bad.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Meghan wanted to us all to know she was in Britain,
- 16:55Speaker 1: just at he Throw for a few hours. Okay, don't
- 16:57Speaker 1: forget a vote. Aren't her days, Paul, We're going to
- 16:59Speaker 1: work nice, Rob. Facebook page is nought to yossip and
- 17:03Speaker 1: be sure to check back on Monday to your results
- 17:07Speaker 1: in that of the day. Yes, wait, it is a
- 17:14Speaker 1: very sweet story.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz. I always want to call
- 17:18Speaker 2: her Zoe but it is Zoe.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Zoe.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Okay, so well then we'll have to research that.
- 17:24Speaker 1: But okay, so Zoe.
- 17:25Speaker 2: For now we'll say, but Zoe grabbits planning their secret
- 17:29Speaker 2: Christmas wedding, So she and Harry Styles. Of course, they
- 17:32Speaker 2: are eyeing a romantic winter wedding in the UK and
- 17:35Speaker 2: it sounds lovely, with insiders saying that the ultra private couple,
- 17:39Speaker 2: they want a small ceremony around a Christmas time, surrounded
- 17:43Speaker 2: by only close family and friends. They were first linked
- 17:46Speaker 2: in Rome last summer and they've kept their romance mostly
- 17:49Speaker 2: out of the spotlight, which I believe is a very
- 17:51Speaker 2: wise move while they're getting to know each other, and
- 17:54Speaker 2: they split their time between London and Italy, and sources
- 17:57Speaker 2: say that Styles is completely smitten, while Crabbit is already
- 18:01Speaker 2: thinking about a second celebration in New York to honor
- 18:04Speaker 2: her dad, Liney Grabbitts and her downtown Manhattan roots.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So let's see if it happens. You know, it will
- 18:08Speaker 1: be really London Reddin at Christmas. I can't think of
- 18:12Speaker 1: anything more beautiful. And it's just the day and not
- 18:15Speaker 1: just the day. Chrischelle Strauss, who's on selling Stone Set,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I don't think we've ever spoken about her on this show,
- 18:23Speaker 1: but she's blasting Katherine McPhee over her quote problematic men.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So Chrischelle is our naughtous today because what is going
- 18:32Speaker 1: on here is Katherine McPhee posted a video supporting the
- 18:36Speaker 1: very controversial Spencer Yes, yeah, Los Angeles mayor campaign. You
- 18:40Speaker 1: can have feelings about that video. You can have feelings
- 18:42Speaker 1: about her supporting him. You can have feelings about her
- 18:45Speaker 1: calling him, singing to him. You're simply the best. Tina
- 18:48Speaker 1: Turner was the best, not Spencer Pratt. However, going after
- 18:53Speaker 1: her political views via the men she likes is just wrong.
- 18:58Speaker 1: If she likes Oldham and if she's happy, and she is.
- 19:01Speaker 1: She's been with David Foster now for years. I've met
- 19:04Speaker 1: them together. They are very happy together. Leave people's relationships
- 19:09Speaker 1: out of it. If you want to go after Cory's politics,
- 19:12Speaker 1: my politics, your friend's politics, you could have a debate
- 19:15Speaker 1: about that. But attacking somebody's partner or your choice in men,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I say that is just creepy and you lose the
- 19:23Speaker 1: whole argument before before the argument begins. I'm already out
- 19:26Speaker 1: of it. Don't be judging other people's relationships. As gaming.
- 19:30Speaker 1: We've had people judge our relationships, our entire lives. Corey
- 19:33Speaker 1: and I hate it when I see other people do this,
- 19:36Speaker 1: don't do it and nautist of the day. Let's end
- 19:38Speaker 1: with a moment of let me be really honest. Success
- 19:42Speaker 1: is boring. It's really boring. That's why most people never
- 19:46Speaker 1: make it. Let me explain. So. Success rarely comes from
- 19:49Speaker 1: genius or look or one big break. No, it comes
- 19:52Speaker 1: from repeating the same simple actions over and over and
- 19:58Speaker 1: over again. People who win are usually the ones that
- 20:02Speaker 1: do the basics. They write another page, they make another call,
- 20:07Speaker 1: they post another video, they go for another workout. So
- 20:11Speaker 1: our emotions we chase excitement, but success rewards consistency. Most
- 20:18Speaker 1: dreams die not because people don't have talent, but because
- 20:22Speaker 1: they get tired of repetition before the results of ah wow,
- 20:27Speaker 1: repeat it again and again and again. Think of fun
- 20:31Speaker 1: things you learned. Ride in a bicycle. You got good
- 20:33Speaker 1: at it because you did it again and again and again.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Think of if you're a dancer, you got good at
- 20:38Speaker 1: it because you did it again and again and again.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Think about going to the gym. You got good at
- 20:43Speaker 1: it because you did it again and again and again
- 20:45Speaker 1: podcasting Corey. We've been doing this now for five years
- 20:48Speaker 1: and we're really good at it. We weren't. We didn't start.
- 20:51Speaker 1: We didn't if you go back to some of our
- 20:53Speaker 1: early shows. But the repetition is boring. But that's what
- 20:58Speaker 1: success is really about. Hey, that is it for this week.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to the Naughty Fifth
- 21:04Speaker 1: Nice with Robin Corey Show. We're a production of Elvis
- 21:06Speaker 1: Terran and iHeartRadio. Don't forget to follow me on substat
- 21:10Speaker 1: robshooter dot substack dot com. Also to my novel is out.
- 21:13Speaker 1: It started with a whisper, so we've gone past the launch.
- 21:16Speaker 1: So during the launch we sold a massive amount of books.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you. Then I thought it
- 21:20Speaker 1: would just disappear. It hasn't. It has dropped a lot
- 21:23Speaker 1: on the charts, but we're still in the top hundred
- 21:26Speaker 1: books and that is so thrilling. So now word of
- 21:29Speaker 1: mouth is kicking in. You're telling your friends you'll recommending me.
- 21:32Speaker 1: If you haven't picked up a copy, please think about
- 21:35Speaker 1: doing so. I think you will really really enjoy it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Thank you again. I'm the luckiest guy in the world.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And remember altogether, now if you're going to be naughty,
- 21:44Speaker 1: you have got to be ra
