- 0:47[SPEAKER_06]: How much we want to talk about that game?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_06]: I guess depends on your level of fandom.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_06]: It wasn't pretty for most of it.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_06]: But I would say starters at least,
- 1:03[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, did he like to put it out?
- 1:07[SPEAKER_06]: No, well, all of a sudden I started hearing myself because the YouTube feeds I have tried to find the mute speaker, but no, I was, we'll get into it, you know.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_06]: So we're going to give you all our thoughts on the game.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously quarterback competition, depth, they're like, they're, we've got a couple of voice mails to get to.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_06]: So I think it's going to be a good episode, and I'm just extremely excited to be talking about an actual football game.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_06]: We're not speculating on a football game.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to get to talk about actual plays that happened on the field against another team.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm excited to get into it if you guys obviously Justin Kenny Josh and then everybody here in the chat before we get into it though.

- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: Did we end up with 10 leagues?
- 2:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm working on League 13 and 14 right now.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's crazy.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if to deal with those.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_06]: So big enough.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_06]: And those are 10 to 12 man leagues guys.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_06]: So like, that just everybody who signed up for the dog pack and you support the show and you get to play fantasy football with not just us, but like a whole bunch of people that are in the dog pack.

- 2:46[SPEAKER_06]: This is like on on our third or fourth year during the fantasy football with everybody.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_06]: We've gone from two leagues the first year I think one or two leagues the first year to 13 or 14.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_06]: So appreciate all the support.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_06]: I can't believe we have that many leagues.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_06]: That's it getting that's join the dogs.com if you want to become a dog back member.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_06]: So I think we should just dive right into it, get into the nitty gritty.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously the big thing ever coming into this game was going to be the quarterback competition.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_06]: We should mind as well just start there.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_06]: I know I have my thoughts on the way it went.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_06]: I'm curious to see what you guys think.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_06]: I guess it's just go with Josh.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_06]: What do you think?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: I was not expecting to Sean Watson to look as, I'll just say polished as he looked, I thought, especially when the first team was out there.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: So the first team O-Line, he had KC Boss and Jerry Judy.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: He was hitting his back foot pretty well and he was pretty much on target with his throws.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: He completed the first one was at five or six passes.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think the first in completion was Harold Fan and dropped a first down.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: Which was a nice throw, by the way.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: It was a nice throw.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'll let you record it.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was on him.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought you saw once the second team O line came in and we'll talk about, you know, the offensive line, the depth and stuff here a little bit.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: But then that's when I started to see some of the,
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: uncomfortable pocket awareness issues that we've seen from the Sean where he almost looks like he panics a little bit, he's trying to escape and maybe he'll run into a sack, he got the strip sack, he didn't step up in the pocket.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just being a little bit nitpicky there, but there was some of that and I was this first game in almost two years.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: So overall,
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: I was, I was impressed, I'm not going to lie.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: You guys know I have not been a huge Sean Watson fan this off season, but that was better than I expected.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'll let you guys talk a little bit about the Sean before I give my thoughts on Shador.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_04]: I thought he was okay looking as well too.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_04]: I thought, you know, midway through the second, like you said, as soon as the second string has started coming in, that's when it started falling apart a little bit.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_04]: Let's fall apart for the whole team.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_04]: But I thought he was really uncomfortable because conception on Boston came out of the game and then he kind of didn't know where to go.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_04]: And anything else you said, like I'm not gonna reiterate it, like that's pretty much what I thought as well.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_04]: Didn't wanna see the turnover.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_04]: you know, blitz or not blitz on that sort of heat.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if he called the wrong protection on that, but I don't know if it was the offensive lineman.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: That's a hard thing about the strip sack on that case, but you just don't want to see a turnover and it wasn't an interception.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_04]: It might might have not been on him, but you just don't want to see that.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, you wanted to see some awareness, but just to answer your question, Kenny, Austin Barber got me taken to the behind the wood shed bat.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_06]: That was how did he?
- 5:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yes.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_06]: So again, like you want to have some awareness, you want to feel that pressure, you know, obviously securing the football is important, but we'll call that like 75% on Barber, 25% on Dishon, probably.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not just, I'm guys.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: I was shocked.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: I was very very surprised.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I've watched four seasons where I've seen this happen where he goes out there and it's just alligator arm.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: Did we saw a pull in the dirt or, you know, some indecisions running into sacks that don't need to be sacks?
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: We saw, like you said, Josh, we saw a little bit of that later on, but for the most part,
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: He looked pretty, pretty buttoned up, you know.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: There was some little things that'd be getting as far as like penalties and stuff and that one on Howard's not on him, you know, obviously trips the edge coming up.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I was really, really surprised.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: I, as far as like what the offense look like, it kinda, it still gives me vibes of the Dink and Dunk, you know what I mean?
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: I still see the short game, which kind of, it makes me nervous about what it does for our run game,
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: we'll get into it later, but there wasn't anything really down the field, you know what I mean?
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: So everybody's up on the line, everybody knows kind of what we were trying to do there.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: I guess as the game played out, but as far as like how he looked and delivered, and stuff like that,
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: I was very, very surprised.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: I told people leading up to the game I'm like, it's gonna shit the bed.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's gonna be, it's gonna be, I pretty much just had it made up in my head because I've seen it happen.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: And so for him, good for him, man.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: There's a good performance, you know, you're in a cute, big competition.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he'd be stepped up pretty well for, you know, considering what was going on.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how you guys feel about this, but just his kind of like whole body language this week has kind of just been different.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like if you've watched him at press conferences, he's usually real just kind of tone down, you know, just everything's real, just just modest and...
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: he was kind of upbeat at least Wednesday and Thursday and then even like when you're watching him on the sidelines he's laughing and stuff like that.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't something I've really seen from him in the first you know four years of this experiment.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously there wasn't a lot to be laughing and excited about in the first four years of this thing but you know as far as his performance today you know it was fine.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, let me do real quick on something you said they're about the Dink and Duck.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: I did see a stat, 4.4 was his air yards for completion today.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that's what we saw in 2024.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: That kind of stuff does concern me.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: First short, man, because it just absolutely kills anything that you're trying to, it's like a lot of us have all said, extension of the run game, you know, like spring pass.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if you let's all you're doing, you're in trouble.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to blow you up all day.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he took what he basically took what the defense gave him.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_04]: And that's kind of what you want to see in the preseason.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_04]: But you got to you got to challenge the guys too, especially when you have guys like Boston and conceptual guys who lead, you know, with the crazy catches down the field.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, Sanders was typically Sanders.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_04]: We didn't get much out of them.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_04]: The completion percentage wasn't high, but guess what?
- 8:58[SPEAKER_04]: You found Luke Floria for 35 yard bomb.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what we expect out of him.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_04]: you know, these guys to come down the middle where they're hitting the flats and they're hitting, you know, intermediate and they're going deep.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_04]: You can't just always settle either.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what we need to see other John Watson do something, do something more, man.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_06]: I, I'm, I'm like with you guys, I think I put it in the discord after he made a nice throw and I said guys to Sean's actually throwing the ball pretty well, and somebody said, well, the throw lax is preseasoned, I always like, no, I don't mean I think he's playing well.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_06]: I actually mean he's throwing the ball well.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_06]: I haven't seen any balls go in the dirt, tin yards in front of the wide receiver.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_06]: I haven't seen any balls just,
- 9:42[SPEAKER_06]: being thrown 35 feet over top of somebody's head I haven't seen him throw the ball into anybody's helmet I mean he's actually the active throwing the football looks better than it has in three years from the guy So that was a positive.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_06]: I thought he looked more athletic than he had in the past which is something I was not expecting I didn't expect him to look athletic when You know coming off back to back Achilles tears.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_06]: So that was encouraging
- 10:10[SPEAKER_06]: But the the Dink and Dunk thing, obviously you want to see people push the ball down the field like we don't want to just be like a A four yard throw team that's gonna come though when you were opening up the offense more I mean preseason offenses and defenses are extremely vanilla
- 10:27[SPEAKER_06]: Once, you know, you got away from like the first quarter, first couple of drives, he's thrown to, you know, to back up, he's got back up, people in playing in front of him blocking, not a ten-to-time relative, routes developed on the field.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_06]: I think that would come.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_06]: I would like to think in a month and offense.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_06]: He's known as an air raid kind of guy.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_06]: you know that he's not necessarily a dinking dunk offensive minded coach so that doesn't concern me as much in the first preseason game at a guy's first action in two years but I was I'm like you Justin I was I was just like surprised and encouraged by the fact that he looked decent I'm not even sitting out here and saying he looked great
- 11:06[SPEAKER_06]: he just looked more competent than we've seen him look now it's also tough to fully evaluate that cause again he's finding his vanilla defenses and he's finding against the defense full of second stringers because Chicago didn't really play anybody so great point like his tough is it is to it goes vice versa like his tough it is to evaluate his performance against second stringers it's tough to evaluate
- 11:30[SPEAKER_06]: at least be like extremely critical and overly evaluate like should doors performance with second and third or four stringers, you know what I mean.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_06]: So it's
- 11:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's really a lot of like, what can you really get out of it?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_06]: I guess so if you just look for the finer details, he got rid of the ball on time.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_06]: It was on target.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_06]: He didn't have it in completion till it was a drop, which should have been a nice third down completion to move the chains, which then who knows what happens.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_06]: You know, that takes a ball out of his hands.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_06]: I thought he didn't nice on the, you did a good job in the quarterback sneak, picked up a couple yards and converted a fourth down and short.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_06]: So, I was encouraged.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_06]: Do I think like to shine Watson's, you know, gonna be a pro bull or this year?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_06]: No, but this is the best he's looked
- 12:09[SPEAKER_06]: three years since we've, we've ever had him.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_06]: So, that's encouraging to say the least.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the slow, like the low yards per completion, that's also indicative of the time that they had with the offensive line.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_04]: The offensive line isn't any good, and I, like, they were okay to start, but for the majority of this game, all the quarterbacks were running.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_04]: They couldn't stand in the pocket for very much that I didn't think for what I saw.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_04]: And that's where the real quarterback play comes in.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_04]: We need an offensive line.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_04]: We need these guys to be cohesive.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_04]: We need them to gel and they need to get in the right, make the right calls at the line of scrimmage.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: As far as seeing and then making the right calls at line of scrimmage, I couldn't see that from where I was watching the game.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_04]: but that's going to take time.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_04]: You can't take five new starters and just expect them to work.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_04]: And then when that does work, that's when the quarterback gets the right legs and the right you know, angles down the field and then the receivers get the right separation.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_04]: So I think everybody's, you know, yards per completion is going to be low until that actually
- 13:18[SPEAKER_04]: you know fixes itself or jaw hop a war hop basically makes it work.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but my thing too though is then as soon as Shador came in, he immediately hit a 10 plus yard pass down the sideline to gauge larvered and then hit a bomb to Luke Florian.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: He was playing behind that terrible second string of line with receivers who probably aren't going to be on the team in a couple weeks.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: So he was also after he threw the ball into
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I didn't know where in there did I say he was perfect.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: He made some mistakes today that if you bad I said this earlier.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to be the starting quarterback for a team and you're in a quarterback competition You can't make those mistakes against third stringers.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: You just can't know.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_04]: No, absolutely But I mean just across the board the offensive line to me is the biggest problem and then you resolve your quarterback is you some of your
- 14:16[SPEAKER_06]: I guess if we can't time it like then compare, I would definitely say if you're keeping score in terms of the quarterback competition, it's one zero to Sean.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_06]: I think he was clearly the better quarterback today.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't mean what he'll be the better quarterback going forward.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see if how should Dora looks, hopefully with I'm sure the ones will play more this week to get a proper evaluation of him against the bills, that's a good test.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_06]: He'll get to play at home, hopefully it's good weather.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_06]: But like if I was, if I was sitting here right now, I'd say like the Sean's to start in quarterback probably.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: And it just seems like that's where we're headed.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was kind of the pre-determined case to begin with.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I think today just helped solidify that.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_06]: I've been on this train where I was like, you shouldn't play anybody else beside should door this year because you gotta find out what you have in them because none of the other quarterbacks will be here next year.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_06]: And after just thinking about it more and watching today some, my philosophy a little bit now is,
- 15:23[SPEAKER_06]: You don't necessarily have to place your door to see what you have in it because if you can't beat up out of bus it has Sean Watson who we all think is not that great anymore, then the Browns know what they have in them.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_06]: So, I just think based on what I've seen so far, we're drafting a quarterback next year.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_06]: That was kind of my takeaway from today's game.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_06]: Neither guy looked that great.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_06]: One of them looked better than the other one.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_06]: The other one looked, I mean, if we're, he just didn't look good.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_06]: Should've done it, I mean, he didn't play well.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_06]: I just think like the Browns are probably drafting quarterback next year.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_06]: That was my biggest takeaway from today's game.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_04]: Well, in the discord, I basically posted that, you know, we are the 30 second grouping of quarterbacks of by ESPN standard and we're all arguing, arguing over these 32nd rate of quarterbacks and they look like that.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: Every quarterback came in and didn't really push the ball except for Sanders and they all had to turn over.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody distinguished themselves and you know, if they continue that way, that's
- 16:25[SPEAKER_04]: likely what it's going to be we're just going to be on track for another quarter back next year with a great talent that we have in a wasted year on a good talent on the offense.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe he'll maybe he'll change my mind in the narrative.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_06]: This coming week against the bills, but I'm just telling you based on off season so far and one day of game action of what I've seen.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_06]: That's just that that's where we stand today.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not saying that's where we're going to stand a week from now or two weeks from now.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_06]: That's just my takeaway from the game today.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and you can only be on what you've seen today, like that makes 100% sense.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_04]: It may switch itself over, but go ahead, Justin.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going into this this week coming up very cautiously optimistic.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a joint practice with the bills.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good team.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't obviously know what they're going to do as far as playing their starters and stuff like that.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Their starters played today.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: So for a little bit, but, you know, we're going to see Sanders with ones this week.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you're going to see Deshawn with the twos, you know, and they're both going to get I don't know, does it?
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's not what's happening.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Graily, you think they're shutting them down?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: They said, Munkin said that both guys will get some reps with the ones, but Deshawn's going to be the primary
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: And what about you?
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot of utilities, right?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to primarily be to Sean, then should or will start and play the first half on that.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_02]: But it won't be with the starters.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna get tailing green, brother.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna get tailing green.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's just gonna add to the mix.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Deshawn was playing on Saturday.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: If you guys want to.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, then, then, then, then, then, then, then, then.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: That, I mean, that's, that's really such a low for his chances.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, that, that is just my speculation.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it's for all, I can say about the week, the plan for the week.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: That is what's gonna happen.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: But I wouldn't be shocked if they go into Saturday and it should door for the first half and then you get Gabriel and Green.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I agree with you.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's trending that way as well.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_06]: And so many people in here are so mad at me because what I just said, guys, if he can't beat out to Sean Watson, a guy that we nobody thinks is good.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_06]: Where do you think we stand?
- 18:38[SPEAKER_06]: He's all I heard was he needs a full off-season just it was Kevin Stephianski's fault.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_06]: He hates him never gave him a shot had him throw into trash cans.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_06]: So we hired a coach who came in and the first thing he said was we tried to draft you last year.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_06]: So if it's like here's the guy he loves him he's going to give him every shot.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_06]: And then he's still he's not going to be the starter.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_06]: Like guys at some point like we just got wake up and
- 19:01[SPEAKER_06]: It realized what's going on.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't, it's not that I want it, but would you guys agree with me though?
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: Nope.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think, okay, I think no matter what, the Sean boring injury, the Sean starts the, the season.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: Should, door will finish the season.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'd, I'd seen no world in which the Sean either plays the whole season with his performance being good enough or without getting hurt.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: And both of these guys are in play.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, but if you're only coming in because Dishon, like if he comes in you better be you better be like Tom Brady Because or you're not gonna be here next year.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's good.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_06]: That's absolutely true So I people can give mad all they want, but I'm not the one the coaches when telling you he came out right after this game and laid out the plane for the neck He's the one telling you this not me.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_06]: I'm just relaying the information
- 19:57[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, do we want to get to some of these voicemails?
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, sure.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you want a second, I'm screened here.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do this.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: First one is from everything.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: So small.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: Brad, Brad, money maker.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_05]: Bring him out.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_05]: Bring him out.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_05]: Bring him out.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_05]: Bring him out.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_05]: Bring him out.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_05]: Browns are back.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_05]: All's back, baby.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: Man.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_05]: Was it a rollercoaster of pre-seeking game emotions?
- 20:28[SPEAKER_05]: One thing I could say is, unfortunately, the Sean didn't look as bad as we thought he would.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_05]: Also, whoops, are DEPTED.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_05]: The certain positions are real rough, and I don't know when you might have to sign some more people, bro.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_05]: It's a little rough.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_05]: All the rookies look good today, KC Awesome, Denzel Awesome.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_05]: Some rookies making some defense plays to looking good team, like pretty solid with the starters, and then after that, you know, just fall off and you don't want to have a rough throw.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_05]: Dylan looks unplayable and, you know, it's preseason and here we are, Browns are back and on the next preseason the game, which I'll be at.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go Browns.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, man, I'm pumped to see the next preseason game, but I mean, this worst got this team's definitely got some work that needs a fix and like the depth is one of the biggest things.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_04]: It was the biggest key that Josh and I were talking about
- 21:35[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know what they're going to do like I was making a joke before we started this like I can't see another short from Josh saying that we signed Jimmy whoever from, you know,
- 21:59[SPEAKER_04]: That can come and play because I don't want to see this unless you know the plan is to get the number one pick then stick with what you're doing Yeah, very it's very concerning at a few like you said a few position groups quarterbacks crazy.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're uh, Denzel Ward or Tyson Campbell away from being Pretty miserable on the back end.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's very concerning offensive line
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: We had concerns about the first drink, how the chemistry would be, how they would be able to, you know, develop together.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: Behind them, it gives me vibes of the last few years where it's just rotating door of guys coming in and out and can they stay healthy.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's all fair.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you saw it in the game.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: as as the second third four string guys came in which is a normal for a preseason game the town of level goes down but yeah some of the plays were just agreed just especially on defense man as the game went on it was just kind of painful to watch I had like Tony Pollard PSPS D on that play I was just like oh my god it's like I'm
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: back in the the studio with Blake and Blake screaming at us about what we're doing and I'm like this is crazy but you know and I would expect Andrew Barry to be very busy tonight through the weekend.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: Hey quick I want to keep talking about the depth and stuff.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to update on what I said earlier about this.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: plan for the week, so Daniel O'Fusy posted this, Watson Sanders will split first team brebs in the joint practice, Sanders will start.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: Monk and said Watson will play the third quarter and Dylan gave her will play the fourth.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's good.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm out for Taylor and Green.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's not coming on Saturday.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: At least not as of right now.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_06]: Taylor Greene's not making the team.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of starting to feel that way.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, if you're not playing it, if you're not playing it, you can't even get past attempts in practice.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_06]: He's not making the team.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, I want to talk about the depth.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_06]: I just have to address, somebody said, we get it, you're a Sanders hater.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_06]: I need you all to just, this isn't our first year doing this podcast.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_06]: I need you to rewind to some episodes pre-draft last year, and I want you to watch them and see who was the biggest Sanders fan on this entire show and who was saying to draft him number two overall.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_06]: I dare you to go back and watch those episodes.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_06]: So just because I can then watch things with my eyes and tell you what I'm seeing.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_06]: doesn't mean I'm a Sanders hitter.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_06]: I've wanted us to draft him number two, and I wanted him to be the starter all season last year.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_04]: So, just guys, it's free season game number one.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_04]: Like Sanders is going to play next week.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_04]: Like we're probably going to see something good out of him.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_04]: He's going to get to play with the ones.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_04]: He just did not look good today.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_04]: He was under duress for a lot of it, but to Josh's point.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_04]: When the time came, then he had somebody open, he pushed it down the field, and that's what we want to see.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_04]: The Sean Watson did not do that.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_04]: He took what the defense gave them.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_04]: And one thing that I want to see, like I host a Brownsbackers vent every single game.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_04]: So I can't see everything.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_04]: One thing I want to know is did.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_04]: Um, should our Sanders leave some opportunities open because he was trying to push it down too much because that is one of his biggest misgivings.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what I need to know.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_04]: Did did that happen or is he just pushing it down the field too much.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll say one thing and then we'll take a quick break and then we'll come back and talk about the rest of this team.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: But the one thing I did like that I saw from Shodora today, the pocket presence, pocket awareness, pocket comfort, I thought he looked much better than he did last year.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't ever look rattled under the pressure when he made that deep throat of Luke Floria.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: It looked like he intentionally took a deep or drop than what he probably was supposed to because he knew they were bringing the heat.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: like he gave himself more time to get that played open up.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: It was things like that that I'm like, okay, I'm seeing the the progression from what we saw obviously last year in the preseason was rough against the Rams when he was under dearest today, much much cooler and calmer in the pocket I thought.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he made the right read on his interception.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_04]: He just, he said just a little bit of his hand at the row.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: Bad, right read, bad throw.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: He said that in the press conference, too.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right, right, right, didn't stop out of his hand.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_04]: So who knows?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_04]: Who knows?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: All right, quick break.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sportsbooks before, right?
- 26:25[SPEAKER_02]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: You're not betting against some sportsbook.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: You're trading against other real-world people.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: There's no house trying to beat you.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_02]: So if you think the public is wrong and the Browns can make the playoffs and Todd Munkins first year, or Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, one of those guys can win offensive rookie of the year.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: You can take the other side of the market and then if you're right, that's a big payout for you.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not just sports either.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_02]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_02]: It works like this.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_02]: Simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: So if you trust your takes and instincts and I know you guys do, go check out how she

- 28:19[SPEAKER_06]: welcome back.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_06]: We appreciate everybody who hung out with us through the break.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_06]: Kind of continuing our talk about depth and whatnot.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_06]: We were like, first of all, maybe outside of the quarterback competition, my biggest takeaway from this game was Brown's are probably not going to win very many games this year.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_06]: That's kind of was my takeaway from this game.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_06]: We have some good young talent, you know, like there's a smatter, like a like Boston Casey looked awesome.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, my, you know, I mean, uh, Denzel is an electronic, we all know fans good.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_06]: If we get ever open up a whole judge, kids, you know, there's a work horseback.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_06]: I like what Dylan Samson can do, um, we, there's some, on the defensive side Carson, Mason Graham, all these, like we have some good young talent.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_06]: The problem is that's basically where it stops.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_06]: There is.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_06]: There's the cupboard is bare behind them, and it's just, you're in injury, I mean, we're two injuries away from, from being a practice squad team, and it's just,
- 29:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's gonna be, and we're gonna get injured.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_06]: First of all, it's football.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_06]: It happens, and this is the Cleveland Browns.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_06]: So we're gonna have injury issues this year just like we have every year that I've been alive.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_06]: So it's gonna be, it's gonna be a tough season.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_06]: I think the future is bright, and I think we could be maybe very good, like,
- 29:44[SPEAKER_06]: two years from now.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_06]: Next year, I think we just like keep getting better and then, you know, heading into the new stadium.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_06]: I think we could be very, very good as these guys are growing up and developed, but I think getting theirs could be painful.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: the uh... my biggest thing today i just kept harp on this entire game can't run the ball still can't run the freaking ball no push up front we're not creating any openings no lands i mean running back sugar getting hit immediately like at the line i'm like every time like this freaking sucks i'm sitting there y'all on my tv like just gosh it's so frustrating because we've watched that the last two years where we can't run the ball and it's just continuing
- 30:25[SPEAKER_04]: You know what, if we didn't have Devon Booker in this game, we would only had 54 yards rushing.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_04]: What we did yet, Devon Booker.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the other Von Booth.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, sorry, booth, not book or sort of my bad.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't matter, but yeah.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_04]: He had 54 yards and the rest of the team had 54 yards.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_04]: And that was it, they cannot run the ball.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_04]: And this is something that with the quarterbacks that we have that kind of take what you give them, you need to run the ball, because you can't have a dision Watson doing 4.8 yards and a town that just doesn't work out, right?
- 30:58[SPEAKER_04]: So something's gotta happen there.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_04]: Now, this is just a first preseason game,
- 31:02[SPEAKER_04]: George War hops going to mold these guys up, and I think it's going to be a better situation down the road, but I'm like, ugh, how much better, man?
- 31:11[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I often see why it's got.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_02]: Releasing pressure up until the fourth quarter there was Casey Concepcion.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm a rush for finger round yards.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_06]: Go ahead Blake.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_06]: Wolf.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_06]: I was gonna say, you think the offensive line would be better than last year, because like it'd be tough to be worse.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_06]: But I do think it'll take time to jail.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_06]: They gotta figure out who the fifth star there's gonna be.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_06]: Then they gotta get a bunch of reps together.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, the offensive line, you gotta move as one.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_06]: One guy takes one fall step somewhere, plays blown up.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_06]: that that takes time also run game concepts and stuff preseasoner more vanilla you're not getting anything too crazy not trying to give stuff away so maybe that'll come you know also as we get closer to the season but it was it was hard to watch the lack of run game out there today like we have it you get it had a good run game since Nick Chub was healthy
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: You know, he made it, he made it look easy for everybody, but once he was gone, it all changed.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we were spoiled.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_04]: But do you guys think it would have made a difference?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_04]: Like you saw who didn't start or who was not expected to play.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: If we had all those guys would have made a difference today.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think it kind of would've, right?
- 32:31[SPEAKER_04]: We would've had a little bit more depth on the offensive line because there was a couple guys like Brailsford that we didn't have.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_04]: There might have been another guard in there I can't remember.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_04]: But like through this game, I mean, they just whooped this one, they run up the middle, and then they just hit our backup, backup, backup defensive backs for like 346 yards passing.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_04]: They had 400 plus yards of offense.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_04]: That was against guys that probably won't even be here next week.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_04]: So if those guys can play next week, it'll make slight bit of difference, right?
- 33:02[SPEAKER_04]: Now, that being said, you know, I am a little bit more pessimistic with play care going like we got some problems, man, but I do want to see some of these, these debt pieces come back against the bills and make a better assessment of where we're going to be.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: Just I text you guys after the game and I all I said was the bear's starting defense is very very good That's a solid unit and I think if that unit started today This reaction show would be I don't fair point a lot a lot more
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: like last season, and maybe 2022, and 2021.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: But that was like my thing.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: I just kept thinking, I'm watching them get gashed up, I'm going, man.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: If they're there ones are out there and this is, you know, we're going down the line.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're just depth wise.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's just incredibly better.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: I joke to you guys, but I just said, their car salesmen are way better than our car salesmen, right?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: This is, this is crazy.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not talking about selling cars, you know what I mean?
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: they just outperformed.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's lightly concerning.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, is it a, our starters QB for a half, receivers and stuff are basically a quarter.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_06]: Um, we tied with their second and third stringers going into the half.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_06]: And then, and then they just bulldoze this in the second half.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_06]: So that's, that's discouraging.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, can we be positive though or go ahead, Josh?
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let me stay negative and then you can you can Okay, sure.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: We're meeting um so corner back.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: We've been I've been right but corner back is terrible.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: That position is so thin It's ridiculous.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: So you got we're banking on like UDFA rookie guys to come in here and play meaningful snacks for this defense this season and then today Michael coach junior guy that I've been excited about the rookie out of West Virginia
- 35:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he has a couple of nice past breakups.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: Has the interception there before half time I think it was and it's like, OK, it's because looking good, he's out with an ankle injury.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: Nate Evans, the other media favorite rookie we had.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think out of Delaware, maybe.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_02]: Not that he was even playing all that greater anything.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's out with a quad injury.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: those were guys were relying on at the top of the depth chart right now behind Denzel Ward and Tyson Campbell because everybody else is on the shelf.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's rough but just I miss that about coats shoot.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah have we heard the severity of coats yet I haven't heard anything so hopefully it's not the major.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, let me like take us in an upward trajectory for a second because like if we're going to talk about some good things too Can we talk about how the special teams performed today because man that is something Whether it was you know Marshall gunning whether it was kicks by Schmidt We have basically I we were up at camp and we were sitting with Josh Jake Burns and he's like
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: they might cut Cory Borkas and I was like, get the hell out of here.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: No way.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: I was like shocked.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: I almost like passed out.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, so blown away.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, he's probably our best player honestly on the roster.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: Hold on.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: What are we talking about?
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: But like you saw, like special teams is very improved, looked consistent.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_00]: But if we're going to go on more trajectory, KC conception, the return game that aspect that that kid brings, I thought he tripped up over his guy's leg when I watched it back.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: He literally got shoelace tackled or he's probably taking that thing to the stinkin' house.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: Overall, though, that kid, what a stinkin' dog, like mentality, everything.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: the the concerns with the hands.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'll I'll live with that all day because that's a absolute weapon on the field as far as what he can do and what he brings and then just when you think about the other rookies is like as with Boston and even a not rookie like Isaiah Bond throwing them guys all together.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: Judy looked like solid enough today like that part of it.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like man
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's so exciting as far as when you're talking about the young talent.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thrilled with, you know, there are two young receivers and then man, special teams, what a, what a turnaround for real.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_04]: what's going on with a punner what's going on with a punner anyways because there's three different guys that punned in this game.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they're all.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_04]: So what are so I miss kind of what you're saying like are you saying like competition there's a good competition going on.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, okay because I was wondering because in the initial press conference with store he said, well, Horkas is our guy.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: We're and we're, you know, like what he's done over his like career.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_04]: we're going to look at these other guys as well and I thought that was kind of weird when you're just coming in saying like in to say he's the guy he said you're looking at other guys.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_04]: So this Nick Constantino or Constantino for whatever his name was, he seemed like he was kicking well.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_04]: So we maybe we might lose the harkess.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_06]: This is one of those deals where if a guy can hit can punt even if it's almost as well.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_06]: As Cory, they're going to go with the guy who's cheaper.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_06]: To save money.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_06]: And it's a lot cheaper.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_06]: Millies.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_06]: One of those two.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_06]: And I think Corey is great, but there are times he can struggle with placement.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_06]: So if you can get a guy who can boot it like he does, and can consistently, you know, penilman side of the 20, sometimes Corey's like is too big, you know, and he kicks into the end zone when we really need him to, you know, drop it down at the five and kind of penilman deep.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_06]: and that's nitpicking.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_06]: He's like, you said, Justin, he's been arguably our best player of the last year.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: I almost bought his jersey last year because I thought he was going to say guy on the roster.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: We're sitting here today talking about his a punter core, like competition, I'm like, nothing safe.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: Don't buy jerseys, guys.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: Don't do it.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: Just don't do it.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: Getcha, getcha, Nick Chevin, just wear that for the rest of your life.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: You'll be fine.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_06]: It's like when we used to have Chris Card Docky and Phil Dawson, they were a
- 39:08[SPEAKER_06]: the kicker.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_06]: I think and I won't say it definitively yet, but if we can get into the season and he still can, we might have one of the best kickers.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_06]: possible.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's all effortless.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_04]: It looked effortless when he kicked that.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_04]: Like right, I mean, that was a great kick.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_06]: Going back to week one last year, the dudes missed like three, three, you know, in a in a in a in a season, in a year.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_02]: So two were in one game.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: So it was right.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Again, since he.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, his first game he's and we want people to run him out of town.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_02]: I did.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, cut him.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, me too.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: Glad they didn't damn glad they didn't.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, I mean, he's been like a breath of fresh air.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_06]: I just hope like you can just keep consistently doing it as we head into the season because that's been a position.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_06]: I would say like second to quarterback.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_06]: That's been the toughest position to fill since Phil Dawson left.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_06]: We've never we have yet to be able to find a
- 40:09[SPEAKER_06]: to find a replacement for Phil Dawson and we haven't been able to do it.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_06]: Finally, we get this guy and in his first game, blows two kicks and we want to cut them, they stick with them.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_06]: And he's turned out to be one of the most consistent better kickers in the league the last season.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_06]: So, good for the Browns and I give up on him too early because that just knowing like you're going to consistently make even just extra points.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_06]: In field goal attempts inside 40 yards, you just like you're not even on my go grab a beer.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_06]: Schmidt's kicking a field while I know this is going to be three points.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_06]: That is so nice to have.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_06]: We haven't had that in 15 years.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: No, we haven't.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: And thank God we didn't cut him because think of all the other kickers that we did get rid of.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then they go on to have success down the road.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, literally the next team that they go to, there's I can think five or six, right off it's on my head and like the last 10, 15 years that has happened.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: So since Dawson, it's been rough.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: Let me tell you guys real quick, one of my favorite plays today was Julian Aquara, just making the turn style of jedric wills for the sack.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was awesome.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, that dude that left here with some attitude that didn't work when he was here.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: No effort, try to kind of put the blame on the team.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: And then he signs on with Chicago and then just to see him go out there in a preseason game and be the same old jet wills.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's that was fun.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_00]: I enjoyed this court was amazing for that because there was a lot of guys just with the that's the most he's done for the Browns the most Yeah, he's done for the Browns and his entire career and I was like kid lord man

- 44:40[SPEAKER_02]: This one is from Connor.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, boy.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's Connor calling in here.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: I was just reaching out after the first preseason game and I said it best my friend.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: We are a team that is don't break the ice.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: And if you break the ice then we are incredibly screwed.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: Our offense looks pretty good in the first half and
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: our defense looked pretty good on the first few drives and after that you know the wheels fell off we have no depth anywhere so we can't just sit here and pretend like we're good our quarterback dv depth is awful our defense interior is got awful after the first few guys so that's all I wanted to share with you guys anyway go dogs who
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I like the wide receiver room.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think the wide receiver room.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing we're trending very well there, but he's he makes very good points.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's so so nerve wracking thinking about like Blake said we're in a couple injuries away from just
- 45:43[SPEAKER_06]: being burnt toast, being futile, I think KC Boston and Bond, that could be like a very real NFL wide receiver core, especially when you couple that with Harold Fanon and then Quinshod Shuddkins and Dylan Samson in the backfield, like that's an offensive unit.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_06]: that if you can protect and you can get good quarterback play like those those guys can do damage.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_06]: We haven't had offensive talent like that really since maybe Kevin's first year when we had like a healthy Jarvis and a healthy chub and in a good online like we haven't had that in five years now where we've we've the cupboard has been bare offensively we've had no speed we finally have speed on the offensive side of the ball guys that are are dangerous with the ball in space
- 46:40[SPEAKER_06]: We haven't had anybody the closest thing was a married Cooper and he wasn't even like a danger guy He was just like a tactician, you know, and just a route runner and just then catch a ball and run for but just a guy that you can just turn If we can find a way to get the guy put the ball in this guy's hand ten times He's gonna do something special five times.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_06]: You know six times and that that makes often so much easy
- 47:09[SPEAKER_06]: but we're back to after go through three reads and hit his third option 30 yards down field after script.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_06]: You can just turn and throw it to the guy at the line of scrimmage and he can just make a guy miss and be gone for 15 20 yards.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_06]: We've been missing that for half a decade and it feels good like I feel really good but I think I say it bonds very good.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_06]: He's kind of gotten lost in the shuffle a little bit with KC and Boston coming in here like I think he's very very good in getting
- 47:39[SPEAKER_04]: Well, one thing about the receiver room, too, is that what I keep hearing about bunking and guys that have work with bunking, as long as you have good receivers, he'll make it work.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_04]: I've heard that like consistently through the week, what I've been watching previews for this game, and I think it's going to happen.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_04]: But I get back to the offensive line, and the depth concerns there.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_04]: We lose one guy and man, we're going to be toast.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_04]: And I just need to see those guys develop a little bit more.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_04]: get some of those guys that didn't play this week, playing a little bit more, and I think they can give our quarterbacks just another second to get it down to these playmakers.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_06]: That's what just said some text.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: Now you're fine.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_00]: All I was going to say is in training camp, me and Josh got to see basically a formation where they had bond, KC and bots in and a bunch formation and everybody in the frigging crowd was just like, oh my god, this could be, this could be, this could be, I literally was just like this is the dream, the dream team right here, this could be insane.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and even Jerry Judy can still be complimentary if he doesn't have to be alpha pretend number one like if you just can be a role player and just Do your thing, you know, thank God no drops if he can be just a guy.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, just a guy.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_06]: He just don't do that.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he can be just a see you
- 49:05[SPEAKER_06]: I have no if you want to run around is the third and fourth option.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_06]: I got no problem with that.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_06]: I don't want to masquerading is my number one wide receiver.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_06]: That's for sure.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_06]: He can be just fine, you know, run around out there, get get three or four catches a game is a third or fourth.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_06]: That's fine.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_06]: He's one of the best third or fourth options in the league.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_06]: He's one of the worst number one options in the league.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's fair.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_02]: I will say I did see the Browns do something today in the first quarter that I don't think I've seen them do one time in the last two years.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm exaggerating.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure they did.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: But I can't remember it.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_02]: It was first in 25 after that tripping or whatever from Titus Howard, who by the way might be the one person on this starting projected starting line at that I'm a little concerned about as far as past protection.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't get to see a whole lot of him.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just kind of going off what I've heard from Camp 2.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: But we were first in 25, and Deshawn Watson was able to complete three passes to these receivers to get us another first down.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, did we just pick that up?
- 50:06[SPEAKER_02]: I thought for sure, first in 25, my mobile plant.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I picked it up.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_06]: Last year that last year we had been punting on 4th and 37.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, they were to keep going back.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, yes, yes.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_06]: We would have punted it for the to the first down marker last year.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: back to the original one.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_02]: We're back, baby.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_06]: This is crazy to say that we finally have a good wide receiver death.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_06]: It does feel good.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I think going into last year, I said, we're one injury away from Chamari thrash being our one.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_06]: We're a long way is away from back.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_02]: I want you guys to realize who last year, we were banking on Cedric Tillman being our number two receiver in the offense.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: In this year, he's probably not making the roster.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he didn't even really think he was like, you know, if you're you're running with the thirds and you can't even suit up like I don't know what's wrong with him.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_04]: Number one, we were speculating today, but in our group text, like maybe he's getting traded, like why wouldn't you play today?
- 51:07[SPEAKER_04]: You need to make this team, but he didn't show up and you know, the best ability is availability, right?
- 51:13[SPEAKER_04]: So he's never available.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_06]: The difference in your base, as soon as they took Denzel Boston.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Denzel Boston.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's, I mean, a better version.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: Who's healthy?
- 51:24[SPEAKER_00]: We went from number two, said Rick Tillman slash, Deante Johnson to KC conception and Deante Johnson.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: And Denzel, we were talking about it last year, bro.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and I was kind of trying to sell myself on the optimism that we could still be a viable decent team.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, maybe this guy can get his head back on.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: At one point, he was okay.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_00]: Good, you know, decent player at one point in his career, but just yeah, it is that that right now is a such a refreshing take that you know, we can proudly say hey this this wide receiver room is going to be very legit for the next I you can call what you want five years ten years.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean they're young and they're they're only going to get better
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: any fancy what else I just somebody in here ask you know where's Quinshawn asked about if he was still injured he is not still injured he is 100% cleared healthy ready to go he's looked phenomenal in camp he ran the ball how many times did he run the ball today it was a few it's pulled up here in two or three years four carries for nine yards because our offensive line couldn't do squat in the run game so we're hoping that improves but
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, they can just give this guy a crease.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's a freaking damn good running back.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_06]: I want to, it says it's a new offense fellas, you don't have to play like Tom Brady, that's stupid.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_06]: It's Cleveland guys.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_06]: I was being facetious.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_06]: I was saying that if he doesn't win the quarterback competition, then when he, if, inevitably does get to play this year because Dishon is either her or doesn't play well enough to keep the job for a full season, he's going to have to be like when Brady came in and didn't give the job back to Blitzau because if he comes in and he plays 10 games and it's mediocre at best, they're drafting the quarterback next year.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_06]: That's just all there is to it.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_06]: He's got to come in and be very, very good and play at a high level for them to not take a because he's already starting behind the eight ball.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_06]: He lost the open competition to the guy that nobody wants to see play.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_06]: And some people like he's supposed to be out the 10 year vet.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_06]: Don't play the 10 year vet thing with me.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody thinks the Sean Watson is not good at football on this show and around the league and around fans.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody thinks he's good.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_06]: If there's, this is the one team like Shidur and an open competition has like a very real shot to go win a competition and be the starter at the beginning of the year.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_06]: He's got a coach who likes him, he had an entire off-season to prepare, like this is best opportunity to this be honest.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_06]: If he's not on our team, is he going to get an opportunity, this good to be a starter next to you anywhere?
- 54:00[SPEAKER_06]: Probably not.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_06]: Like this is shot.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: Did you ingest in, since you guys are like in that market for the, for the broadcast, did you guys get the Cleveland broadcast today?
- 54:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, sir.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Kenny, were you watching the NFL network Chicago broadcast?
- 54:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got this Chicago fee.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: So something Blake said too.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_02]: This Chicago, the people on the Chicago broadcast.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: couldn't wrap their head around to Sean Watson starting for the ground.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_02]: They, the whole time, pregame, first court, they were saying the whole time like, why aren't they just rolling with Shidor, like the Sean's not part of their future?
- 54:34[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't they see with, you know, so they were saying the same stuff that we've been saying.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm with you, like,
- 54:40[SPEAKER_02]: If, if and when he gets his chance to play this year, because we start at least two if not five quarterbacks over year, he has to play no doubt football, like you said it can't be mediocre or can't be like, well, the some games are good, some games, it has to be no doubt.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't have to be like MVP or proble level, but it has to be no doubt.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like we leave the season saying, yo, yeah, we don't need to draft somebody.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's the guy.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: And if you don't leave the season like that, then it's over.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I was saying.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like, I'm not saying you're talking about that.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, it doesn't have to be Tom Brady.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_06]: I was being, there's called, you know, being hyperbolic, facetious, you know.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: But it was a Tom Brady situation like you said.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't give up the job because he played no doubt football.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, that's what he's gonna have to do.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_06]: And then I guess we got a couple minutes.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_06]: I saw a comments in here saying, Jimmy Hasland's dictating it, he wants to shine to start.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_06]: To me, that argument makes no sense.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_06]: Jimmy has them said it was a big swing and miss.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't matter what they do, that money is already paid.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_06]: It's gone.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_06]: He's not getting it back.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_06]: The best thing for Jimmy hasn't would be if shit doors the starting court.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_06]: He's a star.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_06]: He sells jerseys.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_06]: He sells tickets.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_06]: He gets a national media games.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_06]: He gets you talked about on sports center and get up.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_06]: He raises the value of your franchise.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_06]: he would want should door to be the starter.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_06]: The Sean Watson starting gets Jimmy hasn't nothing.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_06]: It gets your quarterback boot in your home field.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_06]: He's sold season tickets.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_06]: And so the season tickets, people get it.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_06]: So don't tell me, Jimmy has them.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_06]: Is that money's gone?
- 56:24[SPEAKER_06]: If Jimmy hasn't cared about money, he wouldn't have given them
- 56:28[SPEAKER_06]: The guy burns money.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_06]: Look how much he's paying like 25 head coaches.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_06]: He doesn't care about the money.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_06]: He's got more than he knows what to do with.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_06]: That money's gone.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's dead.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_06]: It's already in red in the books.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_06]: The best way to make that money back is to for Shador to sell jerseys, sell tickets, get national, national games, national TV games.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_06]: Like he would want Shador to start.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_06]: I don't believe in this Jimmy has some wants to shan thing to start.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_06]: That makes no sense to me.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's a very logical way you laid that out.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_04]: I get on the downer side of it.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, I can see why people say that.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_04]: I get like, he's the, you know, a core of a billion dollar investment.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_04]: They want to squeeze the last album.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_04]: I totally get why you think that.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I do, but at the end of the day, like Blake's making sense.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_04]: Who doesn't want to have a Russell Wilson situation?
- 57:23[SPEAKER_04]: we could draft the guy third fourth round and have that salary for two three maybe four years whatever that you know you compromised on your on your signing when you signed so I mean like who doesn't want that but I get it you get
- 57:38[SPEAKER_04]: like down about it and you want to blame everybody the owner or everything.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_04]: Just their inner situation right now where Shidorah hasn't passed him yet.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't either get the guys to the lion's scrimmage fast enough or whatever they're seeing in their practices.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_04]: Right now just on and him are probably they're probably close though.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_04]: It's just Shidorah hasn't hurtled him yet for whatever reason.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's Kenny when you said who doesn't want to Russell Wilson situation.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: I meetly thought, well, who doesn't want to make a stupid, you know, overblown trade for a washed up quarterback, and then have to eat the contract and pay him to play for somebody.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_00]: Just wait, that was a different situation.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, different situations.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're in the end of his career were a little bit different.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no doubt.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_04]: No doubt.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_04]: We already did that, but I meant the room part of it.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, a good part.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with it.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_02]: Honestly, like, you know, I've seen some of the comments flow through here in the chat.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, I think everybody who's been here all night, like, you guys are awesome.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, just because Shidorah doesn't win the quarterback competition doesn't mean, again, he's not going to get a shot.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_02]: He'll probably get a shot at some point.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe Todd Munkin, like, you kind of say, if there are some things that
- 58:51[SPEAKER_02]: You know, to develop and to get ready for those things whenever his turn is called, but I think we'll see a better performance next week against the bills on Saturday.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: He gets to start.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's always more difficult for the quarterback to come in second.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_02]: in a game because you know you've got a different rotation and you don't know who you're who you're playing with necessarily you're cold from your warm up that was you know two hours ago or whatever so it's different from getting to step on the field right away in the first quarter versus third quarter.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_06]: Now, I agree.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_06]: And somebody says, so of one more comment here says, so should work comes out next week and cooks keep the same energy.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_06]: We're reacting to the one game we saw.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_06]: We're reacting.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_06]: I literally just said this one game.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_04]: I just literally said it was one game about 30 minutes ago, and we're going to see what he does next week with the ones.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_04]: Did you come in just now?
- 59:48[SPEAKER_06]: But my biggest gripe is that the people who will say that and you can't guess up to Sean because he's playing with ones against two's.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_06]: If the roles would have been reversed and to Sean would have looked the way he should do it in the third and should do it would have looked the way to Sean did in the first.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_06]: The comment section would be nothing about except for
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_06]: He's God's gift of football.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_06]: And to Sean is the worst football player of all time.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_06]: If you do all year, if you just want to put up blind stats and said these ones were to Sean's, and these ones were should doers, people would be saying he's the franchise for the next 10 years.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_06]: You can't use
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_06]: Some stuff to bash one player and then make excuses for another player in this you have it has to be even everywhere If we're gonna say KC conception looked awesome in this game Well, he was also a one playing against two's and threes So then we can say to Sean looked pretty decent playing in this game.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_06]: You can't you can't pick and choose Okay, if you just gotta be even
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, totally agree.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, like we gave Jerry Judy some flowers.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're not big Jerry Judy fans, but he made some catches.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_02]: He was he ran the route, the right route.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he did a good job.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_02]: He was open and he came down with the ball.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_02]: If we're going to tell the, or call, say the players suck when they suck.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_02]: We got to say they did good when they do good.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_04]: Okay man, across the board this team just needs to do better next week against the bills.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_04]: We just need to see better offensive football.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_04]: You cannot have three turnovers, five penalties.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, we can't turnovers two when you turn over on downs.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_04]: Like they went forward on fourth down, what three times made it once, two times they were in the red zone when that happened.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_04]: Those are turnovers, man.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_04]: So it's literally like five turnovers.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of had two more touchdowns or least six points on the board with two field goals.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_04]: We got nothing.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_04]: nothing.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_04]: That has to change about changing the depth.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you can't just change that in a week.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_04]: That's not going to happen.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_04]: You could get, you know, sign guys this week.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_04]: They're in on Thursday.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to play Saturday.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_04]: That doesn't matter.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever we have this week is going to play next week.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_04]: You know, maybe we'll see that tight end.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_04]: And we won't be feeling
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_04]: seeing tail and green to my disappointment if I was going to rip it off, touch down and throw for one and then be, you know, two for ten or something and then we'd have another conversation to talk about, quote another quarterback conversation to talk about, but I'm joking with that, of course, but the biggest thing is is we're moving, we got to move forward with what we got and we need to see way better offensive linemen.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_04]: play, we need to say some defensive tackles show up and some corners show up.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, people will say, well, we need to go sign some depth, guys.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you think is available?
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we've already called a lot of them.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_02]: And Pat, I'm come to Cleveland.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_06]: We'll probably be with them for a drawster's Ignation.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_06]: We'll probably, we're going to be in roster cut on days.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we're going to be for sure.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, for that.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_06]: So when you hear our initial 53, I feel like some of those guys will be safe for about six hours.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_06]: If you were the 50th through the 53rd guy who made the roster, I wouldn't be calling anybody telling that saying you made the team because if there's any DBs or interior deployment or if anything they get cut off, somebody else's roster cut down a day, we're signing them in a heartbeat because it is it's dead in there for sure.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_06]: But, all right, let's wrap this up.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_06]: Worth the hour mark.
