- 1:31Speaker 1: my home with my co-host today, Kelly Brink, my producer.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Hey, y'all.
- 1:38Speaker 1: At my feet is my little dog, Mishka, scratching the
- 1:40Speaker 1: shit out of my calves because she wants some of
- 1:43Speaker 1: this prosciutto and melon and all the good stuff we have.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a long day of recording.
- 1:48Speaker 3: We're recording live today from Rachel's house because I'm here
- 1:51Speaker 3: in town from Iowa.
- 1:53Speaker 2: And the dogs are going crazy.
- 1:56Speaker 4: It's fine.
- 1:56Speaker 2: You know what? It's real life. So it's representative of
- 2:00Speaker 2: the week we've had so far.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It really is.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And now at this point, we're just like, whatever.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Anything goes. It's fine.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Sort of. It's a shit show. So here, the thing is,
- 2:10Speaker 1: is that we're going to open one of these amazing
- 2:13Speaker 1: bottles today from Le Cool Champagne because I need a drink.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I just... please. Um, I just interviewed probably one of
- 2:23Speaker 1: what I think is my biggest guests and right near
- 2:27Speaker 1: the end. I mean, thank God we got the episode,
- 2:30Speaker 1: but you know, maybe I had five more minutes to go.
- 2:32Speaker 1: My computer died. So having, and it still won't start.
- 2:36Speaker 1: So we don't know for sure if the episode was caught.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It was, and we don't know if she thinks I'm
- 2:42Speaker 1: a complete moron.
- 2:44Speaker 3: So, um, you know, working in entertainment, um, Everyone who's
- 2:48Speaker 3: worked in entertainment for a long time knows that shit happens. Like,
- 2:52Speaker 3: this stuff happens all the time. It's never happened on
- 2:55Speaker 3: Misunderstood so far.
- 2:56Speaker 2: This is the first time. You know, it's fine.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And I don't usually open bottles of champagne either, but
- 3:02Speaker 3: I'm going to do it now. This always scares me.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I'm afraid I'm going to put an eye out.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Maybe point it that way.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Point it at Richard?
- 3:08Speaker 1: You can't do it up like that. No, wait.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I think you put it between your legs and you
- 3:12Speaker 2: just go.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't know that that was.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Woo!
- 3:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Did it.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Wow.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:17Speaker 1: That was so pretty amazing.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But this is the rosé from Le Cool.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Tell me all about it because first of all, all
- 3:23Speaker 1: I can show you is that it has this amazing
- 3:26Speaker 1: bottle and I think that's really pretty.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's actually beautiful. And I was like, I'm not like
- 3:31Speaker 1: a champagne connoisseur, but I'm a champagne drinker. Yeah. I'm
- 3:34Speaker 1: really into my champagne. It has to have a good
- 3:37Speaker 1: crisp taste. So I'm really excited to see how this
- 3:39Speaker 1: tastes today.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You know who is a champagne connoisseur?
- 3:42Speaker 4: Who?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Robert Cool Bell from Cool and the Gang.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Cool and the Gang. I love Cool and the Gang.
- 3:48Speaker 1: What were some of their famous songs again?
- 3:50Speaker 3: I will tell you those in a minute. But first,
- 3:53Speaker 3: Sakina Bell is his late wife. Robert and Sakina loved
- 3:58Speaker 3: champagne so much that they started their own brand. They
- 4:02Speaker 3: went to France. So Robert and Sakina Bell partnered with
- 4:07Speaker 3: Olfa and Mohamed Moretta. on this Le Cool champagne line.
- 4:12Speaker 2: They all loved champagne. And yeah, you know what? He
- 4:16Speaker 2: was a celebrity. He is a celebrity.
- 4:18Speaker 3: But he's not all about the celebrity life. He doesn't
- 4:21Speaker 3: want it to be like another one of those brands
- 4:24Speaker 3: like how all these rock stars have launched their own
- 4:27Speaker 3: lines of tequila and vodka. They don't want it to
- 4:30Speaker 3: be like that. They want the champagne to speak for itself.
- 4:33Speaker 3: They recently launched this particular line of rosé.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And it's an.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Homage to all the ladies who are drinking rosé in summertime.
- 4:43Speaker 1: On the patio. Oh, I love it. I can't wait
- 4:44Speaker 1: to try it.
- 4:45Speaker 2: So we're going to try it right now.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Whoops.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I don't know how to pour champagne, obviously, but here
- 4:52Speaker 2: we go.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm super excited to try this. It's a very
- 4:56Speaker 3: high-end champagne, but, you know, it's affordable. It's around $ 80
- 5:01Speaker 3: a bottle. So it's, you know, anyone can buy this.
- 5:06Speaker 3: If you want more information on this particular rose.
- 5:09Speaker 5: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 5:12Speaker 5: for it?
- 5:12Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 5:15Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than, like, anywhere else.
- 5:18Speaker 5: You have to put me in touch.
- 5:19Speaker 6: What's it called? It's Dunaidial.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Where?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Dunaidial.
- 5:25Speaker 6: There's an accent on the E.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Do you mean.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Lift? Please.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Are you going past Kimmage?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Oh, Kimmage.
- 5:34Speaker 4: No.
- 5:35Speaker 6: Don't deal cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 5:39Speaker 2: You can go to their website, lacoolchampagne.com.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Okay.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So let's just chug this.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I don't think you can chug champagne, can you?
- 5:51Speaker 2: You can do anything you want. Cheers. All right. So
- 5:54Speaker 2: here we go.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I thought we were chugging it.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Oh, this is so good. I've never had a rosé champagne.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I know I never had either. It's so good.
- 6:03Speaker 2: This is different than any other champagne I've had. Like
- 6:06Speaker 2: usually I do like a dry, like fruit.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 2: This is really good.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 1: This is amazing. It has that little rosé taste. Oh,
- 6:17Speaker 1: so you're going to swallow, not spit.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Oh, I would not spit this out.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Okay. We should have had our little spit bucket just
- 6:24Speaker 1: in case.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I knew that this would all be swallowed.
- 6:27Speaker 2: This is some high-end stuff.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Okay, so what does a bottle like this cost, do
- 6:31Speaker 1: you think, Kelly?
- 6:32Speaker 3: This Rosé is $ 80 retail price. They also have a
- 6:36Speaker 3: couple others like Blanc de Blanc, Grand Cru. Blanc de
- 6:40Speaker 3: Blanc is their flagship champagne. That's the one that started
- 6:44Speaker 3: the whole thing. That's $ 120 a bottle. The Grand Cru
- 6:48Speaker 3: is $ 100 a bottle. Rosé retails for $ 80 per bottle.
- 6:53Speaker 1: This is the Grand Cru? crew. And this is the.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Blanc de Blancs.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Yep.
- 7:00Speaker 3: So a few things about Le Cool Champagne. They have
- 7:04Speaker 3: a yacht party tasting coming up in New York City.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Oh, when?
- 7:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 3: It is coming up on July 29th, 30th, and 31st.
- 7:12Speaker 3: You can buy tickets.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You can buy tickets.
- 7:16Speaker 3: They're partnering with both Hornblower's Fleet and and 1-800-LICORES. And
- 7:22Speaker 3: some of the profits for these events will benefit cancer research.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Which is always a good cause. This is also the official.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Champagne of Pastel on the Water. And then the SIP
- 7:33Speaker 3: NYC anniversary, that's coming up.
- 7:36Speaker 2: So Le Cool is everywhere right now.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So at the end of this month, I think it's
- 7:41Speaker 1: such a great idea because so many people think they're
- 7:43Speaker 1: going to, what are they going to do if they
- 7:45Speaker 1: don't have a house in the Hamptons? They can actually
- 7:48Speaker 1: go on this little yacht party and take their date
- 7:51Speaker 1: out there and have some sips of champagne, do some
- 7:54Speaker 1: wine tasting, do some champagne tasting.
- 7:56Speaker 2: That would be definitely impressive.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's a great activity to do midsummer. So I highly
- 8:01Speaker 1: suggest it. And you can definitely get tickets.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I think you should really go on Le Cool's Instagram page.
- 8:07Speaker 3: They have a lot of information there. And then lecoolchampagne.com.
- 8:11Speaker 3: And it's cool with a K. LeCoolChampagne.com has lots of information.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Follow them also on Instagram. A couple other things about this.
- 8:21Speaker 3: So Cool, Cool is all about the champagne. He's dedicated
- 8:26Speaker 3: to honoring his late wife's legacy. He's very involved in
- 8:30Speaker 3: the creation of this champagne.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Now, isn't Kool and the Gang playing in Las Vegas
- 8:36Speaker 1: at the moment?
- 8:36Speaker 2: They have a residency. That is correct.
- 8:38Speaker 1: When I go to Vegas next time, I'm going to
- 8:40Speaker 1: see it. I'm so excited. I love all those old
- 8:42Speaker 1: time songs. But when you go to Las Vegas and
- 8:46Speaker 1: listen to them play, they have three specialty drinks.
- 8:49Speaker 2: They do.
- 8:50Speaker 3: So they have a residency at the Westgate, first of all.
- 8:53Speaker 3: And the Westgate created a signature cocktail using the champagne.
- 8:58Speaker 3: It's called Celebration. That is their number one most popular song.
- 9:03Speaker 3: It's actually the most commonly sampled song in the US
- 9:07Speaker 3: besides the song Happy Birthday. It's Happy Birthday and then
- 9:11Speaker 3: Celebration by Kool and the Gang.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Wow.
- 9:13Speaker 2: They are huge. They are an icon. They will always...
- 9:16Speaker 2: be part of that.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And it's kind of a secret as to what's in
- 9:19Speaker 1: that drink and all these other drinks. You have to
- 9:21Speaker 1: go there to know what it is. What are the
- 9:23Speaker 1: other names of the drinks?
- 9:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:24Speaker 3: So Le Cool themselves created two other signature cocktails. One
- 9:28Speaker 3: is called Summer Madness. The other is called Ladies Night.
- 9:31Speaker 3: And if you want these recipes, they don't just give.
- 9:34Speaker 2: These recipes out.
- 9:35Speaker 3: These are top secret recipes. They won't tell you what's
- 9:38Speaker 3: in it. You have to go to their Instagram page
- 9:40Speaker 3: to find out what is in these drinks and And
- 9:43Speaker 3: they kind of want to do a little, like maybe
- 9:46Speaker 3: a little contest with our listeners too.
- 9:48Speaker 1: If you have a great idea.
- 9:50Speaker 5: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 9:53Speaker 5: for it?
- 9:53Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 9:56Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 9:59Speaker 5: You have to put. me in touch. What's it called?
- 10:01Speaker 6: It's Dunaidial.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Where?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Dunaidial.
- 10:06Speaker 6: There's an accent on the E.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Do you mean.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Lift?
- 10:12Speaker 6: Please.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Are you going past Kimmage?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Oh, Kimmage.
- 10:15Speaker 4: No.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Dundale Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 10:20Speaker 1: For a name and a drink made from these champagnes
- 10:24Speaker 1: that you want to come up with, DM Le Cool
- 10:27Speaker 1: Grand Cru, C-R-U, that's their Instagram, to suggest what you
- 10:32Speaker 1: think would make a phenomenal new drink, summer drink, made
- 10:36Speaker 1: with their champagne.
- 10:38Speaker 3: They want drinks that are titled from Cool and the
- 10:41Speaker 3: Gang's songs. And so Damani and I were talking a
- 10:43Speaker 3: little bit about this. Some examples would be you could
- 10:46Speaker 3: make a drink out of one of these champagnes. You
- 10:49Speaker 3: could make a drink called Fresh.
- 10:51Speaker 1: That's a good cool-in-the-game song. I would call mine Jungle Rum.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Jungle.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Jungle Fever.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Jungle Jazz. Hollywood Swinging.
- 10:59Speaker 1: If I could create my own drink, I would use
- 11:01Speaker 1: their song Hollywood Swingers.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Hollywood Swinging.
- 11:05Speaker 1: If I was going to create a drink, it would
- 11:07Speaker 1: be called Hollywood Hills.
- 11:09Speaker 2: If I was going to create a drink, it would
- 11:11Speaker 2: be called Jungle Boogie.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Wow.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Jungle Boogie.
- 11:14Speaker 1: But you've got to... But you've got to make.
- 11:17Speaker 2: You know what?
- 11:18Speaker 4: It would.
- 11:19Speaker 2: having it.
- 11:21Speaker 3: It would have rosé and banana liqueur oh and coconut rum.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Oh can you mix rum and champagne oh i think.
- 11:29Speaker 3: You can i mean we can do whatever we want
- 11:32Speaker 3: and it would also have a little splash of pineapple
- 11:34Speaker 3: juice jungle boogie there you go yes i just gave
- 11:37Speaker 3: that idea to all the listeners like wow don't take
- 11:39Speaker 3: my idea if you take i'm patenting that so if
- 11:42Speaker 3: they take that.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Idea That's out.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Okay. But that's just an example. You guys go on
- 11:47Speaker 1: their site, make a suggestion. You might win $ 120. Yes.
- 11:50Speaker 3: So La Cool will give you guys, if you have
- 11:53Speaker 3: a really good recipe using their champagne and the name
- 11:57Speaker 3: of a Cool in the Gang song, and it's really good,
- 12:00Speaker 3: they're going to send you a bottle of champagne.
- 12:02Speaker 2: So that is what they're doing. Oh my God. Let's
- 12:06Speaker 2: move on.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Yeah, please.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I could talk about Cool in the Gang champagne forever.
- 12:10Speaker 1: We've really had a hell of a week. I mean,
- 12:12Speaker 1: besides me just losing my biggest person I've ever interviewed
- 12:16Speaker 1: on a ridiculous thing. This morning I woke up and
- 12:20Speaker 1: my tire was popped out of nowhere.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Well, it started last night.
- 12:24Speaker 1: It did start last night.
- 12:25Speaker 3: We went out to a nice dinner, got in the car,
- 12:28Speaker 3: tire was very low, but we drove on it anyway.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Because that's what girls do.
- 12:32Speaker 1: That is what girls do.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And we got home.
- 12:35Speaker 1: And it was completely flat.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It was completely flat. Your gardener helped us. Thank God.
- 12:39Speaker 2: He's the sweetest person ever.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Ever.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And then I was like, let's go to a tire place.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So I Googled, what's the nearest tire place? So here's
- 12:47Speaker 2: what we did.
- 12:48Speaker 1: We went to Tires Plus on North Lake in Palm
- 12:52Speaker 1: Beach Gardens.
- 12:53Speaker 2: That's what we did. And thank God for Wayne, Keith,
- 12:58Speaker 2: and Denzel.
- 12:59Speaker 6: Yes.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Because they were like, we are so busy. Two people
- 13:03Speaker 3: did not show up for work today. Keith was super stressed.
- 13:06Speaker 3: He's like, I don't know if I can get you in.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But Wayne came into the rescue.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Big boy Wayne.
- 13:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:13Speaker 2: He saw these.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Two damsels in distress and he walked in and he
- 13:17Speaker 3: was like, you know what? That would take like literally
- 13:19Speaker 3: 20 minutes.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You have a nail.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I had a nail in my tire.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Had a nail in tire. Put a patch in it.
- 13:25Speaker 2: No big deal. So he was like, you girls just
- 13:28Speaker 2: wait here. But we didn't. Instead, we decided to go
- 13:32Speaker 2: shopping on foot.
- 13:33Speaker 1: We went to HomeGoods. HomeGoods. To get these champagne glasses. Yes. Which,
- 13:37Speaker 1: by the way. Which are so cute.
- 13:38Speaker 2: I love them.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It has everything from champagne glasses to garden hoses. I mean,
- 13:42Speaker 1: it's such a fabulous place.
- 13:43Speaker 2: To patio furniture, socks, throw pillows.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I left, you know.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Snacks.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I left with so many different things.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And we went in for champagne glasses.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And I was like.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Rachel, we have to walk across the highway. We can't
- 13:54Speaker 3: buy that much, you know, but you did anyway.
- 13:57Speaker 1: We did.
- 13:57Speaker 2: We walked out of home goods.
- 13:59Speaker 1: We're heroes. We're modern day heroes.
- 14:01Speaker 3: We looked super homeless bag ladies. That's what we looked like.
- 14:05Speaker 3: We each had like three bags. I had a bag
- 14:07Speaker 3: of food and a nice coffee.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And we were playing like Frogger going in between the
- 14:11Speaker 1: cars to get all the way across the highway.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Yes.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Anyway, so we want to get a nice shout out
- 14:15Speaker 1: to Tires Plus on North Lake.
- 14:16Speaker 2: We do.
- 14:17Speaker 1: In Palm Beach Gardens. Everyone should go there because they're fantastic.
- 14:20Speaker 2: And also, how do I look right now?
- 14:22Speaker 1: You look amazing. And you look like you're about 25.
- 14:25Speaker 1: How did you do it?
- 14:27Speaker 2: You're a liar, but thank you.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Well, the car is beautiful. Where did you end up
- 14:33Speaker 5: going for it?
- 14:34Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dada's connections with. They have more
- 14:37Speaker 4: cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 14:39Speaker 5: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 14:41Speaker 6: It's Dune DL.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Where?
- 14:45Speaker 6: Dune DL. There's an accent on the E.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Do you mean.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Yes, I got it on Done Deal Cars.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Lyft, please.
- 14:53Speaker 5: You're going past Kimmage?
- 14:54Speaker 4: Oh, Kimmage. No.
- 14:57Speaker 6: Done Deal Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Here's why. I got a little zhuzh on my face
- 15:03Speaker 2: last week.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Ooh. Yeah.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Where?
- 15:05Speaker 2: At Body Renewal Clinic and Med Spa in West Des Moines, Iowa.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Wow.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Yeah, they were great.
- 15:12Speaker 3: So I worked with Teresa Drummond and Taylor Drummond, a
- 15:17Speaker 3: mom and daughter duo... They are so freaking sweet. I
- 15:21Speaker 3: got the most amazing facial I've ever had from Taylor.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And your lashes look amazing.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Yeah, those are great too. Demi Waddell in Des Moines.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I will link to her too. Probably the best lashes
- 15:33Speaker 3: I've ever had.
- 15:34Speaker 2: She like spent a lot of time on them. Really good.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So she was amazing.
- 15:38Speaker 3: And then, but yes, at Body Renewal Clinic and Med
- 15:41Speaker 3: Spa in West Des Moines, Iowa, she They're one of
- 15:44Speaker 3: the only places in the Midwest that does Doxify.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I had never heard of Doxify. Do you know what
- 15:48Speaker 2: that is?
- 15:49Speaker 1: It's Daxify.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Daxify.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Okay. That's why no one's heard of it. Okay. No,
- 15:54Speaker 1: it's the new version of Botox where it lasts much longer.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It can last like six months.
- 16:00Speaker 2: It can last like six months. And I don't know
- 16:02Speaker 2: about you.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Lift your head.
- 16:04Speaker 2: No, I'm still.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Make a face.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I'm still growing into it. It's not ready yet.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Oh, are you moving it? Oh, see, you can't see this, people.
- 16:12Speaker 1: There's still a lot. No, you can't even tell her expressions,
- 16:15Speaker 1: which is the best kind of Botox you can get.
- 16:17Speaker 2: The weird thing about Daxify, though, Daxify, is that when
- 16:22Speaker 2: I would get Botox, it would take like, hold on,
- 16:25Speaker 2: at least a week for it to kick in. I
- 16:27Speaker 2: got the Daxify, and it was like a day. It's
- 16:32Speaker 2: pretty great.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I can attest. I'm looking at you. You look phenomenal.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Well, thank you. But they have great products. Elemis, I think,
- 16:38Speaker 2: is the name of the product line that they have.
- 16:40Speaker 5: It was awesome.
- 16:40Speaker 2: It was awesome.
- 16:41Speaker 3: So yes, shout out to Teresa and Taylor and everyone
- 16:44Speaker 3: at Body Renewal Medicine.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Okay.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So the other thing I want to talk about is
- 16:49Speaker 1: that recently I interviewed Vanessa Reiser, who is a therapist.
- 16:55Speaker 1: But honestly, the way that most people know her is
- 16:58Speaker 1: because she used to be engaged to Louie, who's now
- 17:00Speaker 1: married to Teresa from the Housewives of New Jersey. And
- 17:04Speaker 1: I just want to say that I have never... experienced
- 17:08Speaker 1: the kind of cyber bullying related to supporting other people.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Meaning so many people went on our DM or commented like,
- 17:17Speaker 1: how could you give this woman a platform? What's wrong
- 17:20Speaker 1: with you? And so many people also said, thank God.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I wanted to hear from her. This is so interesting.
- 17:24Speaker 2: There was more of that than the other.
- 17:26Speaker 1: There was. There was a lot.
- 17:27Speaker 2: More support than hate.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Yes.
- 17:28Speaker 2: But the hate was.
- 17:29Speaker 1: But the hate was pointed at me. Right. Not her,
- 17:32Speaker 1: which is odd. How could you do this? Even people
- 17:35Speaker 1: that I'm good friends with that are huge fanatics of
- 17:38Speaker 1: reality TV and the Housewives of New Jersey in particular
- 17:42Speaker 1: were like, how could you do this? Blah, blah, blah.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You're a friend of mine. Why would you ever have
- 17:46Speaker 1: her on your podcast? And also we've been interviewing David. Yontef,
- 17:50Speaker 1: who is a reality TV guru and basically a Bravo know-it-all.
- 17:54Speaker 1: And so we break down all things reality TV. And
- 17:57Speaker 1: he's gotten comments from people about how could you be
- 18:00Speaker 1: interviewing with Rachel if she's going to promote someone like Vanessa.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Let me just say something about our platform. We're not
- 18:05Speaker 1: promoting anyone. We're talking about somebody's story. We're giving them
- 18:09Speaker 1: the opportunity to share who they are because they may
- 18:12Speaker 1: be misunderstood. But what I more wanted to say about
- 18:15Speaker 1: that is that the trolls that come out related to Bravo,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I think are really unhealthy.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Like nothing else. The vitriol, the hate.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Like nothing else. And it started with me seeing it regarding, obviously,
- 18:28Speaker 1: the Tom Sandoval scandal.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Yep.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I was already shocked about how mean people were about that.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 1: But at the same time, you know, I think it's
- 18:40Speaker 1: very interesting that people would attack anyone related to even
- 18:46Speaker 1: just a topic and come at me. I mean, I've
- 18:48Speaker 1: had to block a bunch of people. I don't even
- 18:50Speaker 1: block people anymore because people say stupid shit.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I started blocking people on your account today and like
- 18:55Speaker 3: turning off comments because.
- 18:56Speaker 2: It was so bad.
- 18:57Speaker 1: It's too much. So I think people really need to
- 18:59Speaker 1: take a look in the mirror. Like how could you
- 19:01Speaker 1: sit behind a computer and say the things that you
- 19:04Speaker 1: say and Because they're so inappropriate.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:06Speaker 1: If you're a mother, if you're a friend, if you're
- 19:08Speaker 1: a father, if you're a brother, whatever, if you're a son.
- 19:11Speaker 5: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 19:14Speaker 5: for it?
- 19:15Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 19:17Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than, like, anywhere else.
- 19:20Speaker 5: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 19:22Speaker 6: It's Dunaidial.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Where?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Dunaidial.
- 19:27Speaker 6: There's an accent on the E.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Do you mean.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Yes, I got an undone deal, cars.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Lift?
- 19:33Speaker 6: Please.
- 19:34Speaker 5: You're going past Kimmage.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Oh, Kimmage.
- 19:36Speaker 1: No.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Don't deal cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Like, watch your mouth. Like, watch how you represent yourself.
- 19:44Speaker 1: It's so crazy the fact that people think that it's
- 19:47Speaker 1: appropriate to start, you know, trolling somebody's accounts. anyways, I
- 19:50Speaker 1: just found that to be really disgusting.
- 19:52Speaker 3: The world is going in a different place, but people
- 19:55Speaker 3: need to remember, you never know what's going on in
- 19:57Speaker 3: someone's internal journey, saying things.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Like, just go kill yourself. You know, you're trash. I
- 20:05Speaker 2: hate you. Blah, blah, blah. All these things.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Like Yeah, it's a lot.
- 20:08Speaker 2: It's so bad.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 20:10Speaker 2: But the New Jersey, they're really bad.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it is really bad. And obviously with Vanderpump Rules, too,
- 20:15Speaker 1: people get violently opinionated about a topic that they feel
- 20:20Speaker 1: so invested in because they've been following a show, which
- 20:22Speaker 1: I understand. But at the same time, it has nothing
- 20:24Speaker 1: to do with them. And they're triggered about things in
- 20:26Speaker 1: their own lives.
- 20:27Speaker 3: I think it took Raquel checking into, literally checking into
- 20:31Speaker 3: a mental health facility. Like, I think that's what it
- 20:34Speaker 3: took for people to finally back.
- 20:35Speaker 2: The fuck off.
- 20:36Speaker 1: If they have yet, you know.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Just not good. So people should just be fucking nice.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Well, I also think that people are just waiting for
- 20:43Speaker 1: the next scandal. You know, Kyle and Mauricio getting separated.
- 20:47Speaker 1: People are waiting for that drama to unfold. I just
- 20:51Speaker 1: read that it's going to be unleashed in season 13
- 20:54Speaker 1: or whatever in the new episodes. It's all been... documented.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And then the stuff with Kim and... Kroy.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Kroy.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 21:02Speaker 2: And now they're back together.
- 21:03Speaker 1: They're back together, really? But so many people said such
- 21:06Speaker 1: nasty things.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:07Speaker 3: So to go from the most tumultuous divorce, hating each other,
- 21:12Speaker 3: suing each other, calling 911 on each other multiple times
- 21:16Speaker 3: to we're back together.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Do you think maybe some of it was orchestrated?
- 21:22Speaker 1: I don't know that it was orchestrated. I feel like
- 21:24Speaker 1: a lot of those feelings as they were happening were true.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I think they both are on the same page of like,
- 21:29Speaker 1: maybe we can't afford this and maybe we'll be given
- 21:31Speaker 1: a show, which as we know for a lot of
- 21:33Speaker 1: people that creates a lot of income. And it's the
- 21:36Speaker 1: reason why people do a lot of things. We just
- 21:37Speaker 1: interviewed Mariah Torres from pit bulls and parolees. And she
- 21:41Speaker 1: was talking about how she, her family literally took the
- 21:44Speaker 1: show because they couldn't afford to eat. All the money
- 21:47Speaker 1: went to the animals. So, um, people do things for
- 21:50Speaker 1: crazy reasons. I do think that was nuts. I mean,
- 21:52Speaker 1: if you're going to go through a divorce, um, Do
- 21:54Speaker 1: it privately. You don't want to do it, you know, openly.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I think that would be a really good move on
- 21:58Speaker 3: their part because they're both deeply in debt.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Good move to do a show. To do a show.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 2: And quote unquote, get back together to do a show.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And they can show, they probably were testing the waters
- 22:10Speaker 1: to see how many people would be interested and they
- 22:12Speaker 1: can pitch that to a network and say, look at
- 22:15Speaker 1: how the whole world or the nation was following what
- 22:17Speaker 1: we were doing.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Anyways, I don't like to talk about reality TV on
- 22:21Speaker 1: this show.
- 22:21Speaker 3: That's not what the show is about, but we needed
- 22:24Speaker 3: to address that for a little bit.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Do you think Kyle's really a lesbian?
- 22:29Speaker 1: I do not get lesbian vibes from Kyle.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Me neither.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I don't think she's having a late-in-life lesbian crisis.
- 22:35Speaker 2: What do you think? You had some thoughts on this.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I just think that possibly she's become someone she relies on.
- 22:43Speaker 1: She talked a little bit about how she's not drinking
- 22:47Speaker 1: right now. Morgan, is that her name? This woman, Morgan
- 22:50Speaker 1: is sober. And you know, for all we know, she's
- 22:52Speaker 1: her sober coach or she's just someone who's hanging around
- 22:54Speaker 1: or giving her other things to do and think about
- 22:57Speaker 1: and purpose besides drinking. So, you know, people can definitely
- 23:01Speaker 1: have a new friend late in life. I don't see
- 23:04Speaker 1: that it's over a lesbian situation.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I don't think so either. They're probably getting a kick
- 23:08Speaker 3: out of this. Like, Oh, people think we're lesbian lovers.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's probably fun. Like they're best friends or whatever. It's
- 23:13Speaker 2: probably funny to them.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Like Play it up for the camera a little bit
- 23:16Speaker 3: and like pictures sitting on laps and stuff. My friends
- 23:19Speaker 3: sit on my lap all the time. Like just dumb,
- 23:22Speaker 3: fun stuff. And I don't get lesbian vibes from Kyle either.
- 23:26Speaker 2: So yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:28Speaker 1: What are some shows we have coming up next week
- 23:30Speaker 1: that we can tease?
- 23:32Speaker 2: We've got Nick Ritchie coming up.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm so excited for Nick Ritchie. It's interesting because I
- 23:39Speaker 1: got a teaser into who Nick Ritchie was when I
- 23:45Speaker 1: was involved in a little scandal. I found myself the
- 23:48Speaker 1: topic of conversation on The Dirty, which was the site
- 23:51Speaker 1: that he owned. And it was very hurtful and very mean.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And now years later, here we are where I'm interviewing him.
- 23:57Speaker 1: He's asking me to be on his show. He's learned
- 24:00Speaker 1: a lot of lessons from really destroying people's lives and
- 24:04Speaker 1: feelings in the kind of business he was in. He
- 24:07Speaker 1: has a new platform, a media platform, mostly for millennials.
- 24:11Speaker 1: He's very good at his job. He really is. And
- 24:13Speaker 1: he was a great interview. He's really interesting. So I
- 24:17Speaker 1: enjoyed sitting down with him. I had never met him
- 24:19Speaker 1: in person. Um, so yeah. And so we had a
- 24:23Speaker 1: really nice conversation. So I think you'll enjoy that. The
- 24:25Speaker 1: other one we have is going to be Mariah, uh,
- 24:28Speaker 1: harmony slash Torres. Um, who is the star of Pit
- 24:32Speaker 1: Bulls and Parolees. She's actually launching a new show. It
- 24:34Speaker 1: just came out this past week on her network, her
- 24:40Speaker 1: streaming network, which you can find out where to find
- 24:43Speaker 1: that when you listen to the episode. But it's all
- 24:45Speaker 1: about how she goes on a motorcycle trip with four
- 24:48Speaker 1: other women. It's about what happens. And they had an
- 24:51Speaker 1: all-female cast, an all-female crew. They were going to do
- 24:54Speaker 1: this regardless. If they didn't have the cameras following them,
- 24:56Speaker 1: lucky for them, they did. Anyways, it looks like a
- 24:59Speaker 1: great show. I'm going to watch it. Their whole network
- 25:01Speaker 1: is filled with great programming about stuff relating to underdogs,
- 25:06Speaker 1: meaning the actual dogs they're saving, the parolees that are
- 25:10Speaker 1: going about their life in a new way. It really
- 25:12Speaker 1: follows all those characters. So I'm excited for that interview.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I mean, I did the interview already, but I'm excited
- 25:18Speaker 1: for you guys to hear it because it's someone that
- 25:19Speaker 1: I've been trying to get on for a really long time.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Yes.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Another guest we have coming out is... Sydney Leathers. She's
- 25:25Speaker 3: an adult film star. She was involved in the Anthony
- 25:29Speaker 3: Weiner scandal. And we're coming up on the 10-year anniversary
- 25:33Speaker 3: of that.
- 25:34Speaker 1: She ended up telling her story to Nick Ritchie. Nick
- 25:36Speaker 1: did not believe her. But finally, he did break that news.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And that prevented Anthony Weiner from running for mayor. Or
- 25:43Speaker 1: he did run for mayor. Prevented him from winning.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 25:46Speaker 1: All these interesting guests coming up. We're really excited. We
- 25:49Speaker 1: are heading to New York this weekend. We are having
- 25:52Speaker 1: dinner tonight. at Rayo's this week, which is a very exclusive,
- 25:57Speaker 1: fancy restaurant in Harlem in New York with Bo Dietl,
- 26:02Speaker 1: who's been in the news a lot, but already comes
- 26:04Speaker 1: from a background of knowing everybody and being in the
- 26:07Speaker 1: news for many years, being in a lot of movies.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And so we're really excited to go to dinner with
- 26:12Speaker 1: him and he will be on the podcast. And then
- 26:15Speaker 1: we have some other interesting interviews. We're interviewing the CEO
- 26:19Speaker 1: of I have a wellness facility that specializes in ketamine-infused treatment.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So we're going to get to the bottom of all
- 26:29Speaker 1: of that. And then we have a couple interesting other dinners, dates, whatever.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'm getting my eyebrows redone. Are you? Yeah. And then
- 26:37Speaker 1: we fly back to Palm Beach. So that's what we're
- 26:40Speaker 1: up to.
- 26:41Speaker 2: This has been such a busy week. I'm so sweaty.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I haven't showered today.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Oh, I lost my dog yesterday. Do we even say that?
- 26:48Speaker 2: I don't even know. Oh, I was going to say,
- 26:50Speaker 2: I don't know where she is right now. We deserve
- 26:52Speaker 2: these drinks. Let's do one more cheers.
- 26:55Speaker 1: So we are going to cheers you all and say,
- 26:58Speaker 1: have a very happy weekend or a great weekend. Why
- 27:01Speaker 1: don't you guys DM us? Let us know what you're doing.
- 27:03Speaker 1: If you have any great stories, we will discuss them
- 27:07Speaker 1: on our next episode. If you have any types of
- 27:10Speaker 1: alcohol that you want us to spit or swallow, please
- 27:14Speaker 1: let us know because, or just send it to us, whatever.
- 27:16Speaker 1: DM me from my address. This is what happens when
- 27:19Speaker 1: you drink.
- 27:20Speaker 2: We're really sorry for this episode, but we love you guys.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Cheers.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Cheers. Worst episode ever.

- 28:04Speaker 5: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 28:07Speaker 5: for it?
- 28:07Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 28:10Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 28:13Speaker 5: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 28:15Speaker 6: It's Dunaidial.
- 28:17Speaker 5: Where?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Dunaidial.
- 28:20Speaker 6: There's an accent on the E.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Do you mean.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Lift?
- 28:26Speaker 5: Please. You going past Kimmage?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Oh, Kimmage.
- 28:29Speaker 4: No.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Dundale Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
