Episode #003: "Who Gets the Keys?"
August 14, 2026 |
The Padres had an off-day, so The Daily Friar zooms out. Who actually owns the team right now, why hasn't the record-setting sale officially closed, and what are Kwanza Jones and Jose Feliciano inheriting from Peter Seidler? We break down the ownership transition, check the rehab clocks on Joe Musgrove, Nick Pivetta and Yu Darvish, catch up with 20-year-old Ethan Salas in Triple-A, and open the Friar Files for the story of how Ray Kroc kept the Padres from leaving San Diego in 1974.
