- 0:18Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Scrub dub dub in the tub tub tub.
- 0:25Speaker 3: You always I thought you're gonna California love.
- 0:32Speaker 2: No, you always tease us.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yeah you never know.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you really never know.
- 0:39Speaker 1: No, you don't.
- 0:41Speaker 2: We're back in Burbank, Burbank.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I've never heard any even called that.
- 0:45Speaker 2: She like, yeah, verbunk. Yeah, it sounds like a designer.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, we're back in the Studdio and Marcus here Duddio.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Hi everybody, Mark, how did you enjoy the Palm Springs episode?
- 1:00Speaker 4: I enjoyed the Palm Springs episodes?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, sure, did you love them?
- 1:03Speaker 4: I love them?
- 1:05Speaker 5: I edited them, I chopped them up and that's right.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Well that I mean, I miss you guys, always missing
- 1:16Speaker 5: I mean, it's always weird to hear the show without me.
- 1:19Speaker 5: I'll hear you two having a good time in Palm Springs.
- 1:21Speaker 5: But yeah, and bringing it just brought the tea.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I feel like, what's the first thing we should get
- 1:30Speaker 1: to today? Because the amount of uproar. I have seen
- 1:34Speaker 1: over the tea spillage.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Easton brought the tea to Palm Springs.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I think we could do better than that.
- 1:48Speaker 3: He had one and it it went away because I
- 1:52Speaker 3: waited so long. Yeah, anyways, the piping hot tea was, Oh,
- 1:57Speaker 3: I know what it is. The piping hot tea came
- 1:59Speaker 3: from Easton's disdain for Nick vv Oh.
- 2:03Speaker 1: See there we go, we got there, we got there,
- 2:06Speaker 1: We're I'm telling you. Everybody was asking about asking me
- 2:09Speaker 1: about this, Like I was getting d MS from so
- 2:13Speaker 1: many people asking what is Easton's beef with Nick viyal?
- 2:19Speaker 6: I I too, got a lot of messages about this,
- 2:21Speaker 6: and I mean, you know, we got to get downwards
- 2:24Speaker 6: one way or another. Right, No, I don't. There's no
- 2:29Speaker 6: there's no tea to spill like, there's no like, there's
- 2:33Speaker 6: no there's no like secret I'm hiding about Nick. I
- 2:38Speaker 6: dislike him on a personal level.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I know, because the one thing I kept seeing was like,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I guess Nick talks a lot of bad bad mouth's
- 2:49Speaker 1: iHeart all the time. And they were like Easton's probably
- 2:52Speaker 1: such like a proud corporate employee that he gets mad
- 2:54Speaker 1: at that. I was like, I don't think that's the case.
- 2:57Speaker 6: Let's settle this right here. I love I heard Radio
- 2:59Speaker 6: Old Heart. I would die for this company. However, however, however,
- 3:04Speaker 6: that Nick criticizing I Heart it does not bother me.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I figured, but I wanted to clear that that room.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't like it when he talks about about
- 3:13Speaker 6: I Heart podcasts because I take pride in these shows. No, no,
- 3:17Speaker 6: I don't know. It's just done a few things over
- 3:19Speaker 6: the years that I that would make me not like him.
- 3:22Speaker 6: And it's just it's not like I was gonna say,
- 3:25Speaker 6: it's not personal thing. It very much is a personal thing.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Is this something where he could come on and y'all
- 3:30Speaker 3: could hash it out and you could call him out
- 3:32Speaker 3: on his.
- 3:34Speaker 6: I mean maybe, no, no, no, no, no, I don't want
- 3:37Speaker 6: to cut down this road. I don't do this kind
- 3:39Speaker 6: of thing.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I don't want to go down this road.
- 3:41Speaker 6: I really don't.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You don't have to like everybody. I know.
- 3:44Speaker 6: That's that's why I said it is because like it's it's
- 3:47Speaker 6: not like I'm not like declaring war on him or anything.
- 3:50Speaker 6: I just there's just I just don't I've worked to
- 3:53Speaker 6: them a number of times, and I just don't like him.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, here's the thing.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I think Nick is polarizing, and I think he knows
- 3:59Speaker 3: that about himself.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I feel like he's admitted it a couple of times.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 3: So I don't think it's like, I don't think you
- 4:04Speaker 3: said anything shocking as much as the fact that was
- 4:07Speaker 3: coming from you.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Correct.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I think that was the part that people were like
- 4:10Speaker 3: Eastern such an angel, and he fiveed up with that
- 4:14Speaker 3: jaw dropping sentence and shocked the scrubbing.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Ours around the nation. Our paging doctor doctor.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Yeah, mom, Springs, it's it's it's a vortext out there.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And yeah, I tell you, it bring some stuff to
- 4:31Speaker 2: the surface, all right, So it's just it is what
- 4:35Speaker 2: it is. It's just you don't like him.
- 4:37Speaker 6: Yeah, that's it. Yeah, Yeah, that's all.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't have to share private moments, no, no.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And the vortex did bring up a lot.
- 4:50Speaker 3: In fact, there was a clip that was shared on
- 4:52Speaker 3: social media of Tanya licking her phone of a picture.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Okay, I would not weird.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I wanted to.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Definitely, the man who judgeth is the man who could
- 5:07Speaker 1: point it the finger right back at himself.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I mean, yes, we all do weird things. But I
- 5:12Speaker 5: think you have to admit that it's weird, Like I
- 5:14Speaker 5: do weird things. We all do weird things, because it's
- 5:17Speaker 5: not weird weird.
- 5:18Speaker 1: To like see a picture of your dog and like
- 5:19Speaker 1: kiss your phone.
- 5:20Speaker 2: That's not what you did.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I was a little tipsy. It's like the same difference.
- 5:25Speaker 4: No, it's not, because you do kiss your dog in
- 5:27Speaker 4: real life.
- 5:29Speaker 3: But she said you make out with her day, with
- 5:31Speaker 3: her daily. That means you're using tongue.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I don't use tongue.
- 5:34Speaker 4: She uses tongue, but you use tongue on your phone.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yes, correct, it's weird.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think that acknowledging something's weird means that
- 5:45Speaker 3: I don't do something like me saying that was weird
- 5:47Speaker 3: doesn't mean well you do weird things, Like yeah, I
- 5:50Speaker 3: do weird things as well.
- 5:52Speaker 2: But that was also shocking.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I'm I wish there had been a camera on Allison's
- 5:59Speaker 3: vain because she was kind of to the side, like
- 6:02Speaker 3: behind Tanya, and she.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Did the funniest reaction of like interesting. Did anyone else
- 6:11Speaker 2: see that?
- 6:12Speaker 1: No, it wasn't meant for anybody to see. It was
- 6:14Speaker 1: just a moment, I know, I know.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Luckily the cameras were on and I was watching unfortunately, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 3: witnessed it. Yeah, okay, so the to clear the air,
- 6:25Speaker 3: she uses her tongue. Correct, you were tipsy, you were
- 6:29Speaker 3: wanting to kiss the phone, but your tongue came out instead.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I just missed her so much that it was just like, Ah,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I used my tongue a lot like in just in
- 6:39Speaker 1: just in life, I use my tongue as like a
- 6:43Speaker 1: It's like another person, you know, has a life of
- 6:45Speaker 1: its own, and so sometimes it just comes out.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It has wy it does it really? Yeah? Yeah it isn't.
- 6:53Speaker 2: It has a life of its own.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And it has a wave of expressing itself.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yes, and not everyone to understand that.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But some people do.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And for those that do, I will say, there were
- 7:04Speaker 3: kind of you Tanya tots that are like, I'm a
- 7:06Speaker 3: proud Tanya tot and this is.
- 7:08Speaker 4: A little.
- 7:11Speaker 2: This is a little crazy even for.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I know. Well, there were some tots out there that
- 7:17Speaker 1: did defend me. So too, the tots out there that
- 7:20Speaker 1: defended me, I say, thank you.
- 7:22Speaker 2: They deserve some merger or something.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they deserve some because they are in it. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: just realized my bronzer is like not blended because your forehead.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's pretty whack a doodle up there, but becausen't in person,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it doesn't look like that. Okay, great, but yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You are blotting with printer papers, so.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You gotta do. You gotta do what you gotta do.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:45Speaker 3: So another thing that happened is we were talking about
- 7:49Speaker 3: hall passes and Tanya's tried to get away with not
- 7:53Speaker 3: having an answer and not drinking in. Her answer was
- 7:55Speaker 3: I wouldn't want a hall pass for either of us.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And I'm like, yes, of course we all feel that.
- 8:00Speaker 1: First of all, that is my truth.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Okay, but that's not an answer to the question anyway.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Drink.
- 8:06Speaker 3: She did drink, but she no, no, no, she she
- 8:10Speaker 3: uh quickly picked.
- 8:12Speaker 2: One and threw out Jenna or takea for Robbie.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Which is the last celebrity she had seen.
- 8:17Speaker 2: We weren't sure she was even legal.
- 8:19Speaker 3: She is of age by two seconds.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Right, Robbie goes, I don't think you understand how hall
- 8:28Speaker 1: passes work. You can't just throw out rand That's not
- 8:31Speaker 1: just throwing out a random name that picks up on
- 8:33Speaker 1: your phone.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Well, let me tell you something. For her hall pass,
- 8:36Speaker 3: she chose Harry Styles and it came out off the
- 8:39Speaker 3: tongue quick wow. And so his comment was, I get
- 8:43Speaker 3: Wednesday Adams and you get Harry Styles.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I didn't realize the game. I didn't realize the game.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But I still wouldn't give him a hall pass. I
- 8:55Speaker 1: know who his hall passes. Margot Robbie, Margot Robbie. She's
- 8:58Speaker 1: it's a universal thing. And if if the opportunity presented itself,
- 9:03Speaker 1: it would be selfish of you not to guess what.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm selfish if my middle name had something, it's called selfish.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Because he ain't getting that hall passed.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Dang. She locked as she said, you are locked down.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Put a ring on it, that's it.
- 9:19Speaker 3: But what about a ring around his necklace? What what
- 9:23Speaker 3: about a ring on his necklace?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you put a ring locked?
- 9:26Speaker 2: He walked.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Everything is once you Once you're locked in, you're locked
- 9:31Speaker 1: his finger. Well, we're not married.
- 9:33Speaker 3: No, no, no, he wears he wears her. He got
- 9:37Speaker 3: a promise ring.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Remember that promise ring he gave me years ago.
- 9:41Speaker 2: That could fit Shrek. It's so large for him. He
- 9:45Speaker 2: wears it on his.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, he put it. I put it on a chain,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and he wears around his net.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I forget that until I got married.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so no, he does not wear it on his
- 9:54Speaker 1: finger yet, but he will and he will, oh yes,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and it's gonna make his hands so much hotter.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I do like when, Oh, I do like when a
- 10:03Speaker 2: guy has a ring.
- 10:04Speaker 1: On and those hands with the ring.
- 10:08Speaker 3: But I remember when I was dating, like when I
- 10:10Speaker 3: was in the dating scene and I would be like, oh,
- 10:12Speaker 3: that guy so hot, and I'd look in that two
- 10:14Speaker 3: ring and be like I hated the rings at that.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Point, you know, yeah, it's so interesting, but when but
- 10:20Speaker 1: now I'm like, wow, that's they make a guy.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I like, I like a ring on a man.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it means he's committed. Yeah yeah, not fear of commitment.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, he's proud of his commitment. Correct, the sign of
- 10:34Speaker 2: his commitment exactly. We went on a double date on
- 10:40Speaker 2: Saturday night.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was Labor Day weekend. Did you feel like
- 10:43Speaker 1: it was Labor day weekend?
- 10:46Speaker 3: No, because like I don't really have a job. That's
- 10:50Speaker 3: like you know what I'm saying, Like I every day
- 10:52Speaker 3: is labor day for me.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Sure. That's just my truth, speaking of.
- 11:00Speaker 1: My truth, and no one can take that away from you. No,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I can don't even try and take it away from her,
- 11:04Speaker 1: please don't.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I love that truth. But yeah, it was
- 11:08Speaker 2: labor Day.
- 11:09Speaker 3: But did you have something significant to add to that
- 11:11Speaker 3: or no labor days?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Like it's like the unofficial end of summer. It's like
- 11:15Speaker 1: a big weekend, you know, it's like Labor Day.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Well, actually summer lasts for like a few more weeks officially.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm saying about on people.
- 11:24Speaker 2: In summer after Labor Day. Yeah, do you?
- 11:27Speaker 1: I mean, I don't. You know what's interesting, I don't
- 11:31Speaker 1: really feel the seasons.
- 11:33Speaker 2: We don't because there's no no.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I know, I don't even feel physically. I just mean
- 11:37Speaker 1: mentally because I when you work, it's like when you're working,
- 11:39Speaker 1: you're just you're just always working. Summer to me equaled
- 11:42Speaker 1: like no school. But I don't have that anymore. So
- 11:45Speaker 1: it's just like it all kind.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Of well, like you went on multiple vacations in the summer.
- 11:49Speaker 6: Yeah, summer officially ends Sunday, September twenty second, right after
- 11:55Speaker 6: the Harbia Music Festival presented by Capital One.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Whoa thank you for sneaking that in there is that radio?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:05Speaker 3: Okay, so but there is a rule. There is a
- 12:09Speaker 3: rule that's been around for a long time. And I
- 12:11Speaker 3: think people have started to just kind of ignored. It's
- 12:13Speaker 3: not a thing, but we used to like really abide
- 12:14Speaker 3: by it, which was the no white after Labor Day rule.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So how do you, as a the queen of all
- 12:21Speaker 3: white feel about that?
- 12:22Speaker 1: And I'm gonna I almost wear white jeans too, So
- 12:25Speaker 1: I was almost in full white.
- 12:27Speaker 3: She got her long sleep white shirt and her low
- 12:29Speaker 3: her puffer white puffer vest on.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It's one hundred degrees outside.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I know, I got a gear up for winter.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Because what are you gonna wear?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Water wear bonnets and like scarves.
- 12:40Speaker 4: You could just wear this year round here, Okay, there
- 12:43Speaker 4: you go.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Bonnets is really funny.
- 12:49Speaker 1: No, I'm gonna wear white. I'm gonna wear white for
- 12:52Speaker 1: the next like six to nine months.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Oh and then you're done.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah after like yeah, I think after I get married,
- 13:00Speaker 1: and I might give it a rest for the give it.
- 13:02Speaker 1: It's a moment because I was manifesting with the all
- 13:06Speaker 1: white and for years like yeah, no, no, no, no, no,
- 13:10Speaker 1: about six months, I don't know.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I think there was a I would say a good
- 13:16Speaker 3: almost year of you manifesting.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I'm going to go six months. I'm going to say
- 13:23Speaker 1: six months of manifesting.
- 13:24Speaker 3: All right, six months, but anyway, that's going to be
- 13:26Speaker 3: about two years totally.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, so white, it's.
- 13:30Speaker 1: A gorgeous color.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Actually the absence of color is yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Well actually yeah, anyways, yeah, there's no color in black
- 13:39Speaker 3: or white.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Black is absence of color. But it looks great on you.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Is one of them all colors, and the other one
- 13:46Speaker 4: is no color is.
- 13:47Speaker 6: The absence of color, and white is all interesting white,
- 13:50Speaker 6: the entire spectrum.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Wow, I thought it would be the opposite. You think that, Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: more you learn.
- 13:58Speaker 2: We're always learning, always learning, Yeah, listening and learning. We
- 14:02Speaker 2: went on a double date that we did and Robbie.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Had a really cool shirt on and I was like, WHOA,
- 14:10Speaker 3: Robbie's style looks different tonight, Like both Haley and I
- 14:13Speaker 3: were we were talking about in the car on the
- 14:16Speaker 3: way home because we both noticed it, and I.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Was like, Robbie, I really like your shirt, Like you
- 14:20Speaker 2: look really cool.
- 14:21Speaker 3: And Tanya starts dying laughing, and he's like, thank you,
- 14:25Speaker 3: thank you. So you're not into his new style or
- 14:28Speaker 3: what's happening.
- 14:28Speaker 1: No, I love everything, like honestly love everything about him.
- 14:32Speaker 1: But he's having this like moment in life where He's
- 14:36Speaker 1: just like, I don't want to do the same old
- 14:38Speaker 1: thing anymore. I don't want to wear the same old stuff.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I don't want to like just go and do what
- 14:43Speaker 1: everybody's doing. I want to do stuff a little bit different.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Which makes it very interesting to be wedding planning with
- 14:48Speaker 1: him because he's like, oh no, yeah, and I'm like, yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 1: maybe we just do it a little bit like everyone
- 14:53Speaker 1: right now, and then.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Like yeah, yeah, no trends, you're right right, like.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Cause he's making the logo for wedding and he keeps
- 15:01Speaker 1: like coming up with these logos that look like we're
- 15:03Speaker 1: having a backyard barbecue, and I'm like, this is our
- 15:05Speaker 1: wedding invitation, so let's maybe like ten ten scales above
- 15:09Speaker 1: what the rough drafts are looking like. But anyways, he's
- 15:12Speaker 1: trying to change up his style a little bit, and
- 15:14Speaker 1: he's doing it like slowly but surely, with like bigger
- 15:17Speaker 1: shirts and like shorter pans, and I'm like, okay, here
- 15:21Speaker 1: we are.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but it looks good. He looks great.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You can pull it off.
- 15:26Speaker 2: You can pull it off. I don't know, I would
- 15:30Speaker 2: be a little nervous.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Haley loves a change, like she loves being different too. Really,
- 15:36Speaker 3: she went to lactaid sign for her office. We went
- 15:39Speaker 3: to an event and there was a Neon Lactaid sign
- 15:42Speaker 3: and she wants it for our home and is like,
- 15:48Speaker 3: can't you just picture it? And I'm like, literally, no,
- 15:51Speaker 3: my house is like muted tones, which I'm not opposed
- 15:55Speaker 3: to having a room full of color, you know, like
- 15:58Speaker 3: I'm happy.
- 15:58Speaker 2: I want her to feel like.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Artistic and creative, and if colors inspire that, I'm all
- 16:04Speaker 3: for it.
- 16:04Speaker 2: But the lactate design has really thrown a spin for Yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Like it's like if you had neosporin like lit up,
- 16:14Speaker 1: it's like advil.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I kind of like it personally. I get what
- 16:18Speaker 5: she's going for there. I think it's cute, like.
- 16:20Speaker 3: The thing she loves. She like, she literally is a
- 16:25Speaker 3: Lactaid mega.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Fan, lack taid princess.
- 16:28Speaker 2: She's a lactaid princess. She's the princess. He's a Carmel Gordon. Yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 2: she's the lactose free princess.
- 16:36Speaker 3: And she like it really is part of her brand,
- 16:40Speaker 3: and so she wants her room that she works out
- 16:43Speaker 3: of to feel like her brand, like you know, inspire her,
- 16:46Speaker 3: and she's inspired by lactate so how.
- 16:49Speaker 2: That's her truth, I know, and you can't.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You cannot take her truth away from her. I know.
- 16:54Speaker 1: It's a very it's a very interesting and so it's
- 16:57Speaker 1: it is funny when stuff like that happens in your
- 16:59Speaker 1: relationship and I'm like, are you having a midlife crisis
- 17:03Speaker 1: or like what is this? And he's like, no, I
- 17:06Speaker 1: think that's more when like you buy like a really
- 17:07Speaker 1: crazy sports car to like see He's like, I'm not
- 17:09Speaker 1: trying to be younger or anything like that.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I just DRANKO to go.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean the signs are there really sure, hot
- 17:18Speaker 5: little blonde.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Exactly, that's just might be a component.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Let me tell you, that's just heaven. That's just that's
- 17:26Speaker 1: just answered prayers right there.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Let me tell you that's funny.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I do want to talk about Well, I want to
- 17:34Speaker 3: talk about Mark, where you were while we were gone,
- 17:37Speaker 3: And I want to talk about Easton because y'all went
- 17:39Speaker 3: on a vacation that wasn't It was a very different
- 17:43Speaker 3: vacation that I myself would have. So I'm very interested
- 17:46Speaker 3: in hearing more about it. But first we're going to
- 17:49Speaker 3: take a break. All right, we're back.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So Mark, the people wanted to know why we're too
- 18:14Speaker 2: in Pump Springs.
- 18:14Speaker 4: I don't get invited or stuff like that.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I don't get it why.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I think it's because I think it's a cost cutting thing.
- 18:21Speaker 5: That's my Would you have gone, well, yeah, but I
- 18:26Speaker 5: think it would be nice to be invited, even though
- 18:28Speaker 5: I probably would not be able to go for kid
- 18:31Speaker 5: reasons or whatever, but it would be nice to be invited.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I'm going to remember that because I just have always
- 18:36Speaker 3: assumed that you were just like.
- 18:38Speaker 6: No idea it was going to come.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I get the wanting to be invited even if I'm
- 18:43Speaker 2: not going to come.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Yeah, it makes me feel like part of the gang
- 18:47Speaker 5: if I say no. But I don't know, I mean
- 18:48Speaker 5: it would be nice to go.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Sometimes.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Well, yeah, this would have been a bad one for
- 18:55Speaker 3: you to come to because you would have had to
- 18:58Speaker 3: share a bathroom with both And.
- 19:01Speaker 5: I think Easton has to go because Eastern sets up
- 19:03Speaker 5: the equipment. They couldn't do it without Easton. I'm not
- 19:05Speaker 5: as crucial to the operation. Well, you know, so I
- 19:10Speaker 5: think they're.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Like bathroom that would have been fine, just fine.
- 19:15Speaker 4: So we would have all shared a bathroom correct, well,
- 19:17Speaker 4: the stars, I.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Don't know, I would have had to be like someone
- 19:21Speaker 3: would have had to crash Allison in Easton's bathroom, which would.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Have been traumatic for Allison. So I don't know, I
- 19:27Speaker 2: don't know how that one.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah we would have had Yeah, I don't really know
- 19:29Speaker 1: how we would have done that outdoor?
- 19:31Speaker 2: You up to head down to the Starbucks or something.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Well, yeah, there's time is gonna be flossing her teeth
- 19:37Speaker 5: for forty five minutes, but.
- 19:38Speaker 2: You will, especially if you're in an emergence when.
- 19:41Speaker 1: You have If anybody has permanent retainers, they can understand
- 19:45Speaker 1: that you had to floss with like those easy flosses,
- 19:48Speaker 1: so they have to put your floss through a loop,
- 19:51Speaker 1: put the loop through, and then go through it with
- 19:53Speaker 1: the easy loop because you can't just put the floss through.
- 19:55Speaker 2: So what do you need for that?
- 19:57Speaker 1: I need my easy loop and my floss and a
- 19:59Speaker 1: little time.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but so you can. You're saying you could do
- 20:02Speaker 2: that anywhere in the home with a mirror.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Well, ideally I do it over the sink as to
- 20:07Speaker 1: spit my plaque into.
- 20:08Speaker 5: Well, would you move to the different sink when when
- 20:11Speaker 5: Becca had to go so bad.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I know we're the dishes.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I know it's a repat, but I.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Mean it sinks a sink, you know.
- 20:20Speaker 3: It was the learning never it was like, okay, you
- 20:23Speaker 3: know when you wants a horror film and they're chasing
- 20:25Speaker 3: someone and and they're like fumbling their keys or can't
- 20:29Speaker 3: or they.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Fall and they can't, That's what I was doing. She
- 20:31Speaker 2: was trying to put her toothbrush away and it was
- 20:33Speaker 2: like falling all over. I was like, get out, and.
- 20:37Speaker 1: It literally was like I was like shaking. I was like,
- 20:38Speaker 1: I felt so much pressure.
- 20:40Speaker 3: She click clacked away. Well, we missed you, Mark, and
- 20:45Speaker 3: the scribbers missed you.
- 20:46Speaker 4: That's nice.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So we'll remember that.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Though, even though I'll be prepared to be rejected on
- 20:52Speaker 3: the invite, I.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Always want to go.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I wanted to go to San Francisco so bad for
- 20:57Speaker 5: that Giants thing that Vanessa put together for us. I
- 21:00Speaker 5: wanted to go to that so bad. So I always
- 21:01Speaker 5: want to go. So it was a chance that will
- 21:03Speaker 5: make it work.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I remember.
- 21:06Speaker 6: That you came to Vegas one time.
- 21:07Speaker 4: I do stuff, but you.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Have fun you to that, didn't you have to? For Ryan?
- 21:14Speaker 4: No, one of the Vegas ones was just for pods.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Right, Shure.
- 21:22Speaker 5: I was hanging out with Chad Michael Murray, Chad Michael Murray.
- 21:26Speaker 4: No, Chad Johnson, No, I's not the bachelor guy.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Oh in a car with Ben Higgins's Adams and Chad Johnson.
- 21:40Speaker 2: The guy that was on the.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 5: I liked him though. I thought we hit it off
- 21:46Speaker 5: really well. And then it was fun to walk through
- 21:48Speaker 5: the hotel with these guys because all the women recognize
- 21:51Speaker 5: them and see them and stuff. That's always fun for
- 21:53Speaker 5: me to be to witness that.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Look, I have no ripes against not wanting to be
- 21:57Speaker 1: like you have, like Joe Moo, I feel like you
- 21:59Speaker 1: have joy. Yeah, so that there's no judgment here.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Thank you, But I get it.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I really resonate with this because I have Jomo as well.
- 22:07Speaker 2: But the invite feels nice.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I had a barbecue over the weekend
- 22:12Speaker 1: and I'm just posting photos from it and everybody's dming
- 22:15Speaker 1: me did you invite Becca? Did you make sure to
- 22:17Speaker 1: invite Becca? Was back invited to this?
- 22:19Speaker 2: I was like, welcome to my world and idems.
- 22:23Speaker 1: And I said, yes, she was invited, Thank you very much.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Tanya did invite me.
- 22:28Speaker 1: She did not partake.
- 22:29Speaker 3: No, we we wanted solo time because Haley hadn't seen
- 22:33Speaker 3: Tanya Robbie for like literally four months or something.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it felt long.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so we.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Wanted like double date vibes, and so we did a
- 22:41Speaker 3: solo dinner.
- 22:42Speaker 1: It was cute, though. It was cute. Yeah, I really
- 22:45Speaker 1: enjoyed it.
- 22:45Speaker 3: We left Antonia Goes, I mean Heley Goes. I really
- 22:49Speaker 3: I really missed them. Like that was so much fun.
- 22:52Speaker 2: We felt the same.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Way we really did. It was really fun and we
- 22:54Speaker 1: actually ran into What's so funny is somehow Robbie became
- 22:59Speaker 1: like with this guy that I dated in my past,
- 23:02Speaker 1: and it's because we were all out of wedding together
- 23:04Speaker 1: and he kind of became like our third wheel that weekend.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I don't we were like all stating at the same hotel,
- 23:10Speaker 1: like this flight together, light together, both flights there and back,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and so anyways, we've hung out with him a couple
- 23:15Speaker 1: of times and then he walks behind our our table
- 23:20Speaker 1: at the restaurant with a date. And it was just
- 23:22Speaker 1: so funny because Robby's.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Like, ehh, yeah, we found out there will be a
- 23:29Speaker 3: third date.
- 23:30Speaker 2: They were on their second date.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we sent them over some champagne to really get
- 23:34Speaker 1: the juices flowing. Yeah, it was nice.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Would you like that if someone like?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yes, I actually was thinking about this, Okay. I think
- 23:42Speaker 1: it's such good even though none of us are dating,
- 23:45Speaker 1: so we don't need the karma, but I feel like
- 23:46Speaker 1: it's good dating karma to like send that gesture, make
- 23:50Speaker 1: him look like, you know, oh, like my friends are
- 23:52Speaker 1: so fun and cool, you know what I mean?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Mm hmm you do.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Wouldn't like that if somebody sent you over a drink?
- 23:58Speaker 2: No, I would. I always like that, but I don't
- 24:00Speaker 2: know that. I don't I've never thought of a mean
- 24:02Speaker 2: like karma or anything about it.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I think it's good dating karma.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:05Speaker 1: If you're single and you know someone, you see somebody
- 24:07Speaker 1: out at a bar, like I'm there on a date, like,
- 24:09Speaker 1: send them a shot.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah, unless there was someone who wasn't then.
- 24:14Speaker 1: One of them too. The more the merrier.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Speaking of, we did a little game where we did
- 24:19Speaker 3: everyone has There was four shots and one tequila and
- 24:25Speaker 3: we all picked it and then took the shot, and
- 24:27Speaker 3: it was a video and people had to guess who
- 24:28Speaker 3: got the shot.
- 24:29Speaker 2: And Easton was like, I'm not doing it. I don't
- 24:31Speaker 2: drink and I did.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I do feel bad because sometimes I get
- 24:35Speaker 3: so excited.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I'm like, I just wanted you to be apart, but
- 24:38Speaker 2: you're like, I'm not drinking.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I'm like, got it, but I want you to be apart.
- 24:41Speaker 3: So we had Easton pour the drinks. He was a ringer,
- 24:46Speaker 3: so he knew which one not to grab, and we
- 24:50Speaker 3: did the game and.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Should we do the reveal on who got it? Because
- 24:53Speaker 2: I posted the video, Yeah, everyone was right. I think.
- 25:00Speaker 1: That of people guessed correctly it was.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Alison. Yeah, all people.
- 25:13Speaker 6: I saw a lot about kid.
- 25:14Speaker 3: That was so funny because I think what happened is
- 25:17Speaker 3: I took the shot.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And I was like, do I have it? Do I
- 25:20Speaker 2: have it?
- 25:20Speaker 3: So I held it in my mouth for a second,
- 25:22Speaker 3: as if I want to immediately know.
- 25:24Speaker 2: So people. I think that hesitation fooled people. I wasn't
- 25:27Speaker 2: trying to be sneaky.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I wasn't trying to be sneaky either. I was stressed.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I was like, I think I was preparing for the worst.
- 25:33Speaker 3: But I like that some people still said your name
- 25:36Speaker 3: so funny, and I'm glad that we chose you to
- 25:38Speaker 3: pour the drinks because if I had poured the drinks,
- 25:40Speaker 3: I would.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Have done for to kill. So then everyone got into
- 25:46Speaker 2: kiel Shaw had to pretend they didn't get it. Oh
- 25:49Speaker 2: that was funny. Good.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Actually, I know next time you and Allison went on
- 25:53Speaker 3: a vacation, which you were explaining you don't really like
- 25:56Speaker 3: y'all go really cool places, but there's typically always a
- 25:59Speaker 3: work element.
- 26:00Speaker 6: Yeah, and even this last week, I got to go
- 26:04Speaker 6: to some really cool places, but I was always working,
- 26:05Speaker 6: like I was in Palm Strings View. And then I
- 26:07Speaker 6: went to Nashville the next day to set up something
- 26:10Speaker 6: at Jana Cramer's house, and then I went to Washington,
- 26:12Speaker 6: d C. The same day and day. Yeah, it was
- 26:17Speaker 6: It was a lot of fun to record something with
- 26:19Speaker 6: Sophia Bush at the White House. And uh, then I
- 26:22Speaker 6: was on vacation and I hadn't taken vacation in a
- 26:25Speaker 6: very very I can't remember the last time I took,
- 26:27Speaker 6: and just what wasn't didn't do any work while I was.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Very difficult for us on the podcast out.
- 26:35Speaker 4: It was a rough couple of days.
- 26:36Speaker 6: I didn't bring my computer and it was great and
- 26:38Speaker 6: no one called me. It was great. Yeah, it was
- 26:40Speaker 6: so nice. But we went to Denver, Colorado because I
- 26:44Speaker 6: found out about a restaurant, and a lot of people
- 26:46Speaker 6: know about this for a long time, a restaurant called
- 26:48Speaker 6: Casa Bonita. It's been around since the sixties, and it
- 26:51Speaker 6: is the Disneyland of Mexican restaurants. There is caves, there's
- 26:56Speaker 6: fake rocks, there's animatronics, there's cliff divers, there's a big waterfall.
- 27:00Speaker 6: It's this like crazy place. And it went out of
- 27:02Speaker 6: business during the pandemic. It like went really downhill in
- 27:05Speaker 6: the last couple decades. And then the South Park guys
- 27:08Speaker 6: bought it and put forty million dollars into this place,
- 27:12Speaker 6: restoring everything. They made the kitchen better, they fix all
- 27:14Speaker 6: the lights, They that have new everything, And the wait
- 27:18Speaker 6: list is six hundred thousand. People long to down this
- 27:21Speaker 6: waitlist because they're like in soft opening. And so I
- 27:25Speaker 6: start texting everyone I know in Colorado, just like, hey,
- 27:27Speaker 6: have you ever been to this place? Like I text
- 27:29Speaker 6: a texta Dean and he was like, no, I don't
- 27:31Speaker 6: know what you're talking about. Texted Ben Higgins and he's like, yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 6: I've been. Do you want to go? And I was like, yes,
- 27:36Speaker 6: I want to go. And then I got an email
- 27:38Speaker 6: like make your reservation, So all sudden, and I got
- 27:41Speaker 6: to go. We went with Ben and Jess and it
- 27:43Speaker 6: was the most fun we've ever had. It was the
- 27:46Speaker 6: best time it was. So on September fifteenth, you can
- 27:51Speaker 6: just make a reservation at Costabania like they were opening
- 27:53Speaker 6: it up to everybody. So if you have any interest
- 27:56Speaker 6: in going to Kasabanita, I say, try to get a
- 27:58Speaker 6: reservation as soon as possible. It is the coolest thing
- 28:00Speaker 6: in the world.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And we meet it like the September fifteenth is Wife
- 28:03Speaker 1: Appreciation Day, so Mark and your founder.
- 28:06Speaker 6: Yes, if you have a wife that wants to go
- 28:08Speaker 6: see a themed Mexican restaurant, this is a great idea
- 28:11Speaker 6: to celebrate. We made it like a whole trip though,
- 28:14Speaker 6: because it so we went to Estes Park, Colorado, where
- 28:17Speaker 6: they have the Stanley Hotel, which inspired the Shining. We
- 28:20Speaker 6: stayed in the most honted room they had.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Yeah, can we, Paul, I have so many okay for
- 28:26Speaker 3: Cosa Bonita did?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Are you allowed to take photos in there?
- 28:29Speaker 4: Yes?
- 28:30Speaker 2: Okay?
- 28:30Speaker 3: So I just didn't know, Well, no, I already talked.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I talked to them in Pump Springs about it that
- 28:35Speaker 3: they were going. So we always asking them about have
- 28:36Speaker 3: you heard of it before? No?
- 28:37Speaker 6: No, no, okay of South Park.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, So you can take photos.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It's not like a club like you. It's not a
- 28:44Speaker 2: club thirty.
- 28:45Speaker 6: There's a couple like shows that they don't let you
- 28:47Speaker 6: take any photos or video. Like there's a puppet show
- 28:49Speaker 6: it's very funny, and then a magic show which I
- 28:52Speaker 6: was pulled on stage to be the assistant.
- 28:55Speaker 2: But you can't take video.
- 28:56Speaker 6: You can't take any video. So you just got to
- 28:57Speaker 6: take my word for it.
- 28:59Speaker 2: What is the food good?
- 29:02Speaker 6: So they had a reputation for being terrible for a
- 29:06Speaker 6: long time. It was they called it costa no ea
- 29:10Speaker 6: and uh the food. They have a new chef. They
- 29:12Speaker 6: readd the kitchen.
- 29:13Speaker 4: The food is.
- 29:15Speaker 6: I was told the food is fine. It's not great,
- 29:18Speaker 6: but it's like it won't make you sick. I enjoyed
- 29:20Speaker 6: the food. I thought it was great. I really thought
- 29:22Speaker 6: it was delicious. The food's very good. And they have
- 29:26Speaker 6: these things called I guess this is the thing more
- 29:28Speaker 6: in like the Midwest. In Mexicano, restaurants called soapa Pia's.
- 29:31Speaker 2: My gosh, they're incredible.
- 29:34Speaker 1: What's a soap a pia?
- 29:35Speaker 6: Okay, Tyan and I are from California. I had never
- 29:37Speaker 6: heard of them before.
- 29:37Speaker 1: You never heard of it. I don't even know what
- 29:38Speaker 1: you're saying.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It's it's like a it's like a pastry.
- 29:44Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like a pastry. It's like it's like full
- 29:47Speaker 6: of It's an inflated pastry with like honey drizzled on top,
- 29:50Speaker 6: and it's like sweet and dowe.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I'm going to google.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Oh man, they're so good. They're so good. Yeah. They
- 29:56Speaker 6: bring you a bunch of soapathias that were delicious. Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 6: I thought the food was great casabita. And there's so
- 30:02Speaker 6: much more I need to talk about, but it's that time.
- 30:05Speaker 6: We ought to take a break, okay.
- 30:25Speaker 3: And then Jess and Ben both wore crocs for you
- 30:29Speaker 3: in honor of your presence.
- 30:32Speaker 6: It was very kind of them. They came, yes, you
- 30:37Speaker 6: can't see it, Yes that is Yes, that's a soap
- 30:39Speaker 6: a pea.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Okay, that sounds good. I love it. Yeah, so good.
- 30:43Speaker 6: Yeah, Ben, you just met up with us for dinner
- 30:46Speaker 6: and they wore crocs. I was so honored in touch
- 30:48Speaker 6: by their their wearing of the crocs. I was like, oh,
- 30:51Speaker 6: this is my love language. And they had been once before,
- 30:53Speaker 6: so they were able to show us like, oh, we
- 30:55Speaker 6: got you gotta see the Magic Show. You got to
- 30:56Speaker 6: see the puppet Show. Oh, here's the cave, let's watch
- 30:59Speaker 6: the cliff divers. It was great having them as.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Like a guy I got this first Disney guy. Yes,
- 31:03Speaker 2: exactly how long the experience was this?
- 31:06Speaker 6: Our reservations were for eight pm and they you get
- 31:10Speaker 6: the food kind of cafeteria style, like you go down
- 31:13Speaker 6: the line. They just give you your food and then
- 31:14Speaker 6: they want you to eat fast and get out of
- 31:17Speaker 6: the tables. They get someone else in, and we were
- 31:19Speaker 6: there until they closed, like they had to kick us out.
- 31:21Speaker 6: They closed at like eleven o'clock.
- 31:23Speaker 2: We didn't fans that were present.
- 31:26Speaker 6: And we didn't see everything, Like there was like a
- 31:27Speaker 6: whole like mine gold mine that we didn't see, and
- 31:30Speaker 6: there was like a there's a gorilla that runs around
- 31:32Speaker 6: that we didn't see. Like there's like we were there
- 31:35Speaker 6: for like three hours and we didn't see everything. It's
- 31:38Speaker 6: so I can't wait to go back.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I literally never heard of this.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I know no one in here gets high, but that's experience.
- 31:46Speaker 6: That's what Ben was saying. He was like, oh, man,
- 31:49Speaker 6: imagine taking like mushrooms or something coming in there, and
- 31:52Speaker 6: it's like okay, I.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Can't make sure, Ben Higgens.
- 31:58Speaker 6: I also don't think he knows exactly what that means.
- 32:00Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, no, that would be it.
- 32:03Speaker 3: It sounds like it would be a fever dream without
- 32:06Speaker 3: any It was.
- 32:07Speaker 6: I could not I can't sell thinking about it.
- 32:09Speaker 4: It was.
- 32:10Speaker 6: It was the best time I've ever had in my
- 32:12Speaker 6: entire life. It was so fun.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Okay, So that happened was that night one?
- 32:16Speaker 6: No, that was a night two?
- 32:19Speaker 2: Okay, Okay.
- 32:20Speaker 6: So when we landed, we drove up to Estes Park,
- 32:23Speaker 6: which is like a mountain town outside of Denver, like
- 32:25Speaker 6: an hour and a half. On the way there, I
- 32:27Speaker 6: see a gigantic fiberglass Yogi Bear, a Yogi Bear RV park.
- 32:30Speaker 6: I've been searching for one of these for so long.
- 32:32Speaker 6: There's none in Los Angeles. I want to go to
- 32:35Speaker 6: one so badly, and I just saw one like organic.
- 32:37Speaker 6: I was like, this is a sign we have to stop.
- 32:38Speaker 6: And we got out and were like, took pictures of
- 32:40Speaker 6: Yogi Bear, We talked to the staff, we met all
- 32:42Speaker 6: the different Yogi Bear characters around there. We spent a
- 32:45Speaker 6: lot of time at this Yogi Bear RV park, and
- 32:47Speaker 6: then we kept driving up to the Stanley Hotel, which
- 32:50Speaker 6: is a haunted hotel that inspired Stephen King stayed there
- 32:53Speaker 6: and then wrote The Shining, so they didn't film The
- 32:56Speaker 6: Shining there. They filmed Dumb and Dumber there, but they
- 33:00Speaker 6: it's like the super hunted hotel. And when I booked
- 33:01Speaker 6: the room, I said, Hey, we love ghosts and stuff.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Can you put us in the most haunted room possible?
- 33:06Speaker 6: And they did and it was so scary and my
- 33:11Speaker 6: hat moved. I put my hat on the night stand.
- 33:13Speaker 6: I I don't do this kind of like I'm not
- 33:15Speaker 6: like like I don't have like a ghost experience or
- 33:18Speaker 6: anything like that. But I put my hat on the
- 33:20Speaker 6: night stand on top of my backpack. We went to
- 33:22Speaker 6: do the ghost tour. We come back and my hat
- 33:25Speaker 6: was on the bed and I.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Posted all this housekeeping.
- 33:28Speaker 6: I posted about this on and everyone's like, oh am,
- 33:30Speaker 6: I've been housekeeping screwing with you. Okay, that's still creepy.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Brushes. Yeah, she said, I'm not really going with the
- 33:44Speaker 1: haunted part.
- 33:45Speaker 6: I did a turnound service. It was the worst turned
- 33:48Speaker 6: down I've ever had because all they did was move
- 33:50Speaker 6: my hat. When then I stand to the bed. But
- 33:53Speaker 6: it was super creepy there and we had some They
- 33:56Speaker 6: have a hedge maze, just like in the Shining and
- 33:58Speaker 6: we went there for a long time. It was so fun.
- 34:00Speaker 6: We love Ester's Park. It's great.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I'm curious.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I find that so fascinating because I can barely watch
- 34:06Speaker 3: a movie trailer for a scary movie.
- 34:08Speaker 2: So like to choose that. Did you sleep well? Like,
- 34:11Speaker 2: did anything happen while all were sleeping?
- 34:13Speaker 6: I slept really well. I didn't get a lot of
- 34:15Speaker 6: sleep the Night's Prayer, so I was really excited to
- 34:18Speaker 6: like be in a hotel and sleep, and I slept
- 34:19Speaker 6: like a baby.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I don't like any of that stuff. I think it
- 34:22Speaker 1: was two years ago. I heart. They sent a bunch
- 34:25Speaker 1: of us out to was it Austin? It was Austin.
- 34:28Speaker 1: They sent us to Austin for some and like Teddy
- 34:31Speaker 1: Mellencamp was out there, Jenny.
- 34:32Speaker 6: Gars, Oh yeah, yeah. It was a south By Southwest
- 34:36Speaker 6: or something.
- 34:36Speaker 1: It wasn't that, but it was like it was like
- 34:38Speaker 1: a panel. Yeah, it was like a panel. And they
- 34:40Speaker 1: put us in like the most haunted hotel in Austin,
- 34:46Speaker 1: and I was like, I don't want to go to
- 34:47Speaker 1: my room. I stayed in Teddy's room until like I
- 34:49Speaker 1: don't even know what time of the morning. Tara was
- 34:51Speaker 1: with me because I was like, I don't want to.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I was like, I don't want to be in my room.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I had the worst night sleep. I just don't look.
- 34:58Speaker 5: And I told you doesn't San Francisco. He's then another
- 35:01Speaker 5: trip I went in. By the way, San Francisco is what,
- 35:03Speaker 5: as I said, the likelihood of you seeing a haunted
- 35:07Speaker 5: creepy thing in your room is directly related to how
- 35:10Speaker 5: much you believe in that stuff.
- 35:12Speaker 4: I don't believe in any of that stuff.
- 35:13Speaker 5: So in San Francisco's like, oh my god, this hotel
- 35:15Speaker 5: has totally haunted you guys. I'm like, okay, fine, because
- 35:18Speaker 5: of course I'm not gonna see anyth because I don't
- 35:19Speaker 5: believe in it.
- 35:20Speaker 4: And that's not I see any day.
- 35:21Speaker 5: One of the people in our crook now is like,
- 35:23Speaker 5: oh yeah, I woke up in the middle of the
- 35:24Speaker 5: night and there was a woman at the foot I pulling.
- 35:26Speaker 4: On my legs.
- 35:27Speaker 5: I'm like, okay, like like, he clearly went in predisposed
- 35:31Speaker 5: to believe in these things.
- 35:32Speaker 4: I did not, And so that's how that plays out.
- 35:35Speaker 2: A woman pulling on my life was being very scary.
- 35:38Speaker 4: I know that were you dreaming.
- 35:39Speaker 5: He's like maybe, I don't know, Like, but that people
- 35:42Speaker 5: they believe what they want to believe.
- 35:43Speaker 4: They see what they want to see.
- 35:44Speaker 6: With this particular place in Colorado, I mean it's a
- 35:48Speaker 6: it's a very spooky hotel. It's super old. The altitude
- 35:51Speaker 6: is the altitude change is dramatic. So like we went
- 35:54Speaker 6: on the tour and the guy was like, hey, those
- 35:55Speaker 6: of you from like California or something, if you get dizzy,
- 35:57Speaker 6: like let me know. So that like I'm a skeptic
- 36:01Speaker 6: generally with this kind of thing. So I'm like, oh,
- 36:03Speaker 6: if you if I'm going to see anything, it's because
- 36:04Speaker 6: I'm like depleted of oxygen, Like my brain is shedding yet.
- 36:08Speaker 6: But I swear to God that hat moved.
- 36:12Speaker 4: I think there's a lot.
- 36:13Speaker 5: I bet, I bet there's a logical explanation to what happened.
- 36:16Speaker 1: But you know, I'm like not one that I just
- 36:18Speaker 1: don't like scary. I don't like scary. I don't like gory.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I feel like we just started watching this show called
- 36:25Speaker 1: The Americans.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Phenomenal show.
- 36:27Speaker 1: It's old, but it is, oh really a couple of years.
- 36:30Speaker 1: It's not new. I wouldn't say it's like New No
- 36:33Speaker 1: Up on the Up and Up. It's been like nominated
- 36:35Speaker 1: for all these things.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Eighteen five years.
- 36:39Speaker 1: That's so exciting. Five seasons. But the show is so good,
- 36:43Speaker 1: Like I haven't been sucked into a series like this
- 36:46Speaker 1: in a minute. And we almost binge the entire first
- 36:48Speaker 1: season this weekend. But that's not the point. The point
- 36:51Speaker 1: is it's very gory. There's like a lot of shots
- 36:53Speaker 1: to the head and things like that. I feel like
- 36:55Speaker 1: I've been having some weird nightmares.
- 36:59Speaker 2: That makes sense to me.
- 37:00Speaker 1: But then, when else can you watch TV besides before bed?
- 37:04Speaker 1: I can't watch me.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Take the Time. Wow.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Well, I always joke I can't watch anything that has
- 37:12Speaker 3: any like thriller element unless it's even if it's not
- 37:15Speaker 3: even if it's like nighttime, I have to watch when
- 37:17Speaker 3: it's daylight outside, like once the sun goes down, I'm
- 37:21Speaker 3: I'm tapped out of anything.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Like that's when you watch like The Love Is Blinds,
- 37:24Speaker 1: The Sure Friends, So you don't.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Have the thing where like I feel if I'm watching
- 37:29Speaker 5: TV in the middle of the day, I feel like
- 37:31Speaker 5: I've given up on life.
- 37:33Speaker 3: I have that sitting all the time, but it just
- 37:36Speaker 3: lives with me, you know, It's like, could I be
- 37:38Speaker 3: doing something more productive?
- 37:39Speaker 2: Sure?
- 37:41Speaker 6: What?
- 37:41Speaker 3: Like I'm living, Like, what is me doing something productive
- 37:44Speaker 3: versus watching a TV show I want to watch, like
- 37:46Speaker 3: in the grand scheme of things gonna change?
- 37:48Speaker 5: And I think it's it's actually a weird way of
- 37:49Speaker 5: thinking because often I'll just be on my laptop instead
- 37:52Speaker 5: of watching TV.
- 37:52Speaker 4: What the hell's the difference.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I'll be like watching Instagram or for.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Some reason that feels better in our brain.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 1: No, I'm so with you. I can not watch TV
- 38:01Speaker 1: during the day. It's why I have a hard time
- 38:03Speaker 1: with the Olympics and like football, Like, I'm like, you're
- 38:06Speaker 1: just gonna sit on this couch all Sunday long.
- 38:08Speaker 3: For eighteen weeks, I honestly had a hard come down
- 38:13Speaker 3: after all the drinking through the weekend.
- 38:15Speaker 2: I felt like I had a virus or something. I
- 38:17Speaker 2: feel like I have had a virus. Tequila is a tequila.
- 38:21Speaker 1: It'll get you a tequila itis, you know. I have
- 38:23Speaker 1: this debate with myself basically every Monday after the weekend
- 38:28Speaker 1: where I.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Just sober curious, sober curious.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Every Monday, come Monday, I'm sober curious. And every Friday,
- 38:36Speaker 1: come Friday, I'm like, where's appra sprits. Yeah, it's a
- 38:40Speaker 1: really weird internal battle.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Why not just try it for a one weekend.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Ali's on like one hundred days of no drinking. She
- 38:47Speaker 2: feels great.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I know a friend of mine's been doing it for
- 38:50Speaker 1: two weeks and she said she feels great. But she
- 38:51Speaker 1: also cut out sugar. So she's like, I don't know
- 38:53Speaker 1: if it's the alcohol or the sugar.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Probably a nice little combo.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I know it's tough.
- 38:59Speaker 2: It's really you can do it.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I don't know if I can.
- 39:02Speaker 2: You can just do one week when you were fighting
- 39:05Speaker 2: your motive stuff.
- 39:06Speaker 4: There you go.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I drank when I had hamotos. That was the one
- 39:09Speaker 1: thing I gave myself. Well, coffee out everything else, dory
- 39:13Speaker 1: out poison in.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that must be nice for y'all. Y'all just have
- 39:21Speaker 3: like endless energy to do things. I'm inspired by it.
- 39:25Speaker 3: The am well just I think in general the no
- 39:28Speaker 3: alcohol helps, but I'm just inspired by like y'all's first
- 39:31Speaker 3: of all, the fact that you both are on the
- 39:32Speaker 3: same page of what y'all want to do. That Like,
- 39:34Speaker 3: she's just as excited to see Yogi Bear camp site.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Like I'm like, I'm like mesmerized by this that y'all
- 39:42Speaker 3: is a duo.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Every shoe, every shoe has a foot.
- 39:46Speaker 2: He found the Cinderella Slipper.
- 39:50Speaker 6: There are times where we were doing stuff. We discovered
- 39:52Speaker 6: that the Celestial Seasoning tea company that makes the Sleepy
- 39:56Speaker 6: Time Tea. Allison found out. She's like, the factory is
- 39:58Speaker 6: in Boulder. We had do tours. We have to go,
- 40:01Speaker 6: and I was like, yes, we just found out about
- 40:03Speaker 6: it became top priority. We're like, okay, we're in agreement,
- 40:06Speaker 6: right if this makes us miss our flight, we are
- 40:08Speaker 6: fine with this, right And also said that to me
- 40:10Speaker 6: and I was like, yes, So we went and we're
- 40:13Speaker 6: on this tour and we're loving it. We're like, they
- 40:14Speaker 6: took us inside the mint room. You can only be
- 40:16Speaker 6: in there for a few minutes because it burns your eyes.
- 40:19Speaker 6: And I looked at Alix and I'm like, I will
- 40:21Speaker 6: never find another person on this earth that loves this
- 40:23Speaker 6: kind of stuff as much as I do.
- 40:24Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 40:25Speaker 6: Yeah, it's really a special moment.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yeah. To me, that's like the best part of being
- 40:31Speaker 1: in a relationship is like those discoveries of like, oh
- 40:34Speaker 1: my gosh, like this person likes doing this just as
- 40:37Speaker 1: much as I do.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
- 40:39Speaker 1: And like that's so crazy to.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Me, But there is a it's a whole other level.
- 40:43Speaker 1: No, no, I agree, But I feel like that's like
- 40:46Speaker 1: the special that's like the most special part of being
- 40:48Speaker 1: a relationship.
- 40:49Speaker 2: The only other.
- 40:49Speaker 3: People that I really feel like where it's niche like
- 40:52Speaker 3: this is Ashley and Jared. Yeah, the like pop star
- 40:56Speaker 3: like all their Oh yeah.
- 40:59Speaker 2: But I love it.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I'm so happy I'll had a vacation and got to
- 41:02Speaker 3: do all the things that y'all wanted to do.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:05Speaker 6: Yeah, it was a great time. But I'm so happy
- 41:07Speaker 6: you'd be back here. Let me tell you, I'm happy
- 41:09Speaker 6: you'd be back at work.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no vacation like the one you get to
- 41:13Speaker 1: live every day.
- 41:14Speaker 6: That's right, you.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Know what I'm saying.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Thing that's good.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Create a life that you don't need to take your
- 41:19Speaker 4: vacation exactly.
- 41:20Speaker 1: That's it, Mark, create the life you can't take that
- 41:23Speaker 1: truck did.
- 41:24Speaker 2: But I still love vacation.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Yeah, same, It's the freedom of the day. It makes
- 41:33Speaker 1: me think about people, like when you retire, that must
- 41:36Speaker 1: be like such a crazy feeling. Once you like retire.
- 41:40Speaker 2: I was thinking.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I was thinking about this because I was thinking about
- 41:45Speaker 3: how crazy life is.
- 41:47Speaker 2: When you have kids.
- 41:47Speaker 3: And Mark is the only one who can like truly
- 41:49Speaker 3: speak to this right now, welcome, And how crazy it
- 41:55Speaker 3: must be that your whole life is focused on these
- 41:58Speaker 3: humans and like raising them and doing all the things
- 42:01Speaker 3: for them and worrying about them and providing for them,
- 42:04Speaker 3: and then they go on and have their own life,
- 42:07Speaker 3: And how crazy it must be to be on the
- 42:09Speaker 3: other side and be back to where you were before
- 42:11Speaker 3: they ever existed, but like in a whole different way.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Oh, empty nests, Yeah, yeah, yes, yes, yes.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Yes, obviously you're still worried about them, still providing, sure,
- 42:19Speaker 3: you know, but they're doing their own thing now.
- 42:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 42:22Speaker 5: And we've talked about this a little bit, and because
- 42:23Speaker 5: there's part of me that's kind of looking forward to
- 42:25Speaker 5: that kind of reconnection with my wife, but my wife's
- 42:27Speaker 5: not ready for that conversation yet. I'm not allowed to
- 42:29Speaker 5: say the words empty or nest in our house, not
- 42:32Speaker 5: together because one's leaving in a couple of weeks, and
- 42:34Speaker 5: one is fifteen, is.
- 42:36Speaker 2: She junior sophomore?
- 42:37Speaker 4: I just started off right, all right.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Three years, no three two?
- 42:42Speaker 1: Start itself right, right, right, I forget such a weird
- 42:45Speaker 1: like what is this school? I have so many questions
- 42:47Speaker 1: about life like that, you know what I mean? Like
- 42:49Speaker 1: why does the school the school you start January one
- 42:52Speaker 1: like the rest of the world.
- 42:53Speaker 4: Right, why is it fall peper? I don't know, I
- 42:56Speaker 4: don't know why.
- 42:56Speaker 1: That is, Like, let's think about these things.
- 42:59Speaker 6: Wasn't it so that kids could help out on the farm.
- 43:01Speaker 6: Isn't that the idea.
- 43:02Speaker 4: During the summer?
- 43:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like we've evolved from that.
- 43:05Speaker 6: You think so saving?
- 43:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I got to write down all these questions about
- 43:11Speaker 1: life because that one really every year I'm like, and
- 43:14Speaker 1: is right?
- 43:14Speaker 4: Is to help with planting and harvesting.
- 43:16Speaker 1: See like an outdated, uh policy.
- 43:21Speaker 3: But it is at the right time where people can
- 43:24Speaker 3: go and enjoy the summer warmth, you know, go on
- 43:29Speaker 3: vacation during that time, have off during that time.
- 43:32Speaker 1: But you could make you could make that. You could
- 43:35Speaker 1: make Yeah, no, I could reconfigure some things here. Yeah, Okay,
- 43:44Speaker 1: we got to go because we have an episode on Thursday.
- 43:48Speaker 1: We gotta go to go. Is it over?
- 43:53Speaker 4: Maybe go back and find another break?
- 43:56Speaker 1: No?
- 43:56Speaker 5: Fine, fine? One of the breaks and the show was
- 44:00Speaker 5: inserted by me. See if you can figure out which one.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Of them that's a fun name, Listen to it multiple
- 44:07Speaker 3: times from different devices.
- 44:10Speaker 6: DM me the timestample when that commercial is for you.
- 44:14Speaker 6: You won't get a prize, but I just want to
- 44:15Speaker 6: see how words.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Mark make it good.
- 44:19Speaker 3: All right, We will be back on Thursday with a
- 44:22Speaker 3: Dear Bonia episode and we love you
- 44:24Speaker 2: Some love you, my
