- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from kf I
- 0:04Speaker 1: am six forty.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I'm in the move for food. Kf I am six forty.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Handle here on a foody Friday and ask candle anything. Friday,
- 0:18Speaker 3: February twentieth Quick word about this massive Supreme Board decision
- 0:23Speaker 3: that came down a couple hours ago, and that is
- 0:27Speaker 3: that those tariffs that the President just nailed virtually the
- 0:33Speaker 3: entire world with are illegal.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Why do you know the symptom works, Bill, Well, you.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Know I wouldn't have been I have to tell you
- 0:41Speaker 3: I had my doubts because I thought the Supreme Court
- 0:43Speaker 3: was going to give him the ability to issue those
- 0:47Speaker 3: tariffs because the system works. Well, yeah, the courts have
- 0:52Speaker 3: said that's a little bit too far, that's a that's
- 0:56Speaker 3: just a bridge too far.
- 0:58Speaker 2: All right, now, let's do it.
- 1:00Speaker 3: It's FOODI Friday with Neil Sabaidra and it's that season,
- 1:05Speaker 3: the fish sandwich season.
- 1:06Speaker 2: And a little bit of history before I throw in there.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Our religious whenever we talk about our religion in the
- 1:13Speaker 3: Western world, it's the Judeo Christian religion. Those are the
- 1:17Speaker 3: concepts which means it starts with the Jewish, the Old Testament,
- 1:21Speaker 3: of course is Jewish, and then the New Testament so
- 1:24Speaker 3: is Judeo Christian. So here is a little bit of
- 1:26Speaker 3: handle history for you, and that is originally Lent was
- 1:32Speaker 3: a Jewish holiday. Now it was also known as a
- 1:37Speaker 3: verb past tense and then turned into something else.
- 1:44Speaker 4: I have lent.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I see you are a theologian, indeed.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Sir, I am.
- 1:54Speaker 3: So let's talk about fish sandwiches. Everybody eats fish on Fridays.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yet that's gone. I think the Pope said no more fish,
- 2:03Speaker 3: which is a pope that I hated fish and said
- 2:06Speaker 3: we're done with fish.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Well.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so the Lenten season leading up to the Resurrection
- 2:12Speaker 1: Sunday or Easter has been a big deal in mostly
- 2:17Speaker 1: the Catholic faith, for that part of Christianity.
- 2:21Speaker 4: For some time.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I even remember the old Dick Cabasa song La La
- 2:28Speaker 1: La la fish on Fridays.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Do you remember that song that he that?
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yes I do.
- 2:35Speaker 4: He's a comical genius.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:38Speaker 1: But what ends up happening around this time is all
- 2:41Speaker 1: of the all of the fast food joints start putting
- 2:46Speaker 1: and some restaurants start putting out their sandwiches. The fish
- 2:50Speaker 1: sandwiches now McDonald's this year round, but that you know
- 2:56Speaker 1: that ends up they end up selling quite.
- 2:58Speaker 4: A bit during the Lenten season. But Arby's.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Arby's has a fantastic one for a limited time that
- 3:04Speaker 1: has come out, and it is during this forty day
- 3:08Speaker 1: period that they start putting this out. It started on
- 3:13Speaker 1: February eighteenth, and we'll go through April fifth, which I
- 3:19Speaker 1: think is Easter this year. And so and then Wendy's, Well,
- 3:25Speaker 1: hang on a.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Minute with Arby's, wasn't that predicated on Jesus Is saying
- 3:31Speaker 3: we got the fish?
- 3:33Speaker 4: No?
- 3:34Speaker 1: No, no, no, I get that wrong again. Your theology
- 3:38Speaker 1: is a little off, just a tiny tiny bit off.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But Arby's is usually known for the meats. Is they've
- 3:46Speaker 1: got the meats. This is now they've got the fish.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Wendy's.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Wendy's has a great one that people get excited about
- 3:53Speaker 1: every year. I always forget about these things, but they
- 3:58Speaker 1: Wendy's has a crispy Panko, which is the bread cut
- 4:01Speaker 1: the Asian breadcrumbs there on their fish sandwich. And it's
- 4:06Speaker 1: made a return nationwide on February seventeenth as well. And
- 4:12Speaker 1: so you're going to see these popping up all over
- 4:14Speaker 1: the place again, and uh, they're really tasty, actually, like
- 4:18Speaker 1: a fish sand I forgot.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I can't remember the.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Last time I had a fish sandwich at a fast
- 4:23Speaker 3: food place, but you have. I'm salivating now. I would
- 4:27Speaker 3: recommend I'm going for it. I'm going for it today.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Give it a try.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I know how Catholic you are and that you should
- 4:33Speaker 1: make sure that you aren't offending.
- 4:37Speaker 4: The Holy flesh, yes or something to take no pap
- 4:44Speaker 4: spears for me. I don't know what that means.
- 4:47Speaker 3: That means you are offending the Pap. Yeah, it's just
- 4:52Speaker 3: it doesn't work. Yeah, lays down with the jewry pectations. Ye,
- 4:58Speaker 3: please ignore that last one. Okay, Lunar New Year is
- 5:04Speaker 3: all about lunar lunatic see where that comes from, and
- 5:10Speaker 3: Chinese Asian folks and Asian food which I love.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Food is Oriental? Wait a second, are people oriental or
- 5:18Speaker 2: rugs are Asian?
- 5:19Speaker 4: Or oriental people are Asian?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Got it? I always get the too confused. Okay, moving
- 5:24Speaker 2: on lunar food.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yes, so across East and South East Asia you have
- 5:32Speaker 1: the celebration of the Lunar New Year, and we have
- 5:35Speaker 1: a large Asian community here in the south Land and
- 5:39Speaker 1: with that a lot of people refer to it as
- 5:41Speaker 1: Chinese New Year, but it's really Lunar New Year because
- 5:43Speaker 1: more than the Chinese folks enjoy this time of year now,
- 5:50Speaker 1: this is a season of renewal and newness and you know, reflection, prosperity,
- 5:57Speaker 1: all of those things. So you have elders being honored,
- 6:03Speaker 1: and you have dances, whether they're the Lion or the
- 6:07Speaker 1: dragon dances. This year is the year of the Horse.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But throughout southern California we're very very blessed to have
- 6:14Speaker 1: a bunch of events and great food tied to those
- 6:17Speaker 1: as well. A Hambra obviously is a great place to
- 6:21Speaker 1: celebrate the New Year, and they have their festival. I
- 6:25Speaker 1: think the only time I remember it being canceled was
- 6:30Speaker 1: during COVID, I think. But it's on February twenty eighth
- 6:35Speaker 1: and they have the Alhambra Lunar New Year Festival returns
- 6:39Speaker 1: to Main Street there and it's just a beautiful experience,
- 6:43Speaker 1: very culturally rich Asian American community there.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And let's talk a little bit about food.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I mean, you got the black bean, you know those
- 6:53Speaker 3: little cakes, which is very lunary in terms of New
- 6:57Speaker 3: Year's and there's all which I'm by the I'm a
- 7:00Speaker 3: big fan of But there are specific foods.
- 7:04Speaker 4: And that ties into all these places.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Benny Boy Brewing there in Lincoln Heights. You have Big
- 7:12Speaker 1: Way Hot Pot, a bunch of places throughout, Bistro Nas
- 7:16Speaker 1: in Temple City, Coconut and Company in San Gabriel Valley.
- 7:21Speaker 1: There there is a Crustacean in Beverly Hills. As a
- 7:24Speaker 1: matter of fact, Crustacean is a phenomenal restaurant. It has
- 7:28Speaker 1: been around for thirty years and it's going to be
- 7:30Speaker 1: shuddering soon. So this will be their last Lunar New
- 7:34Speaker 1: Year celebration and to go in there it just and
- 7:38Speaker 1: their food is just spectacular. Fashion Island is doing a
- 7:43Speaker 1: lunar New Year celebration. All these not only have music
- 7:47Speaker 1: and stuff, but food is going to be central to
- 7:50Speaker 1: the entire nation.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Of all this sounds that actually sounds very very good. Okay,
- 7:55Speaker 3: let's we do have time a couple of minutes. The
- 7:59Speaker 3: produce story, the best produce to buy to cut down
- 8:03Speaker 3: on grocery spending, which everybody is interested now.
- 8:07Speaker 4: So here's the thing with produce.
- 8:08Speaker 1: We often buy it with great intent and intentions to
- 8:13Speaker 1: you know, make a bunch of stuff, eat fresh all
- 8:15Speaker 1: those things. But if not stored properly, and if you're
- 8:20Speaker 1: not looking for certain things, then they will and then
- 8:24Speaker 1: you toss them out.
- 8:25Speaker 4: It's a whole thing.
- 8:26Speaker 1: The best produce to buy if you want to cut
- 8:29Speaker 1: down a cost are the obviously the less expensive items,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but ones that last long and they've broken them down
- 8:38Speaker 1: with proper storage. You know, there's certain ingredients that just
- 8:42Speaker 1: stay fresh longer. Celery is one of them. And I
- 8:45Speaker 1: know people go, well, celery, it's you know, it's like
- 8:49Speaker 1: water with hair in it. But you know, for a
- 8:52Speaker 1: snack with a little bit of peanut butter on, it's great.
- 8:55Speaker 1: But also it is part of the you know, it's
- 8:58Speaker 1: part of the mere pois which we use for stews
- 9:02Speaker 1: and soups. That means celery, carrots, onions that come together
- 9:09Speaker 1: and you can keep celery crisp for longer. You wrap
- 9:12Speaker 1: the whole bunch there in aluminum foil, you refrigerate them,
- 9:16Speaker 1: or you can refrigerate sliced clean stocks airtight glass container.
- 9:20Speaker 1: They last a long time. Bananas also another one that
- 9:23Speaker 1: lasts a long time. They can spoil, but you want
- 9:27Speaker 1: to keep them away from other vegetables that give off
- 9:30Speaker 1: the ethylene, which is what makes them.
- 9:34Speaker 2: How do you keep.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Bananas for a long time? I mean they go south
- 9:38Speaker 3: in a matter of hours.
- 9:39Speaker 1: One way to do it is the part that gives
- 9:42Speaker 1: off the most ethylene is the tops where the bunch
- 9:46Speaker 1: comes together. You can wrap that in celfane, in plastic wrap,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and that will keep them more fresh longer from them ripening,
- 9:55Speaker 1: getting the sugar, potatoes dry, dark spaces, carrots, cabbage, These
- 10:01Speaker 1: are all things. Onions that last for a long time,
- 10:04Speaker 1: are inexpensive and can be used for a lot of
- 10:08Speaker 1: different things and therefore end up being, you know, something
- 10:13Speaker 1: that you can carry on for a long time, keep
- 10:14Speaker 1: your costs down, and use over and over bananas. You know,
- 10:17Speaker 1: it's a big deal here. If we're not eating bananas
- 10:20Speaker 1: as much as we used to, and they go black
- 10:24Speaker 1: banana bread, they go straight into banana bread. And if
- 10:27Speaker 1: you can't make banana bread right away, you peel them.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You get a fork or a potato masher, You mash
- 10:34Speaker 1: them up, You put them into a ziplock bag, you
- 10:37Speaker 1: zip the air out of them, and you throw them
- 10:38Speaker 1: in the freezer. Mark when you put them in there,
- 10:40Speaker 1: and you could thaw them out and make banana bread
- 10:42Speaker 1: or you know, all kinds of things later.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Okay, fashion Island because I live fairly near there.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Yeah, it's about you. It's not about no.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Of course, I'm just thinking. I'm no, I'm just I'm
- 10:57Speaker 3: just thinking. Of course it's about me. What excuse me, Kneel?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Do they call the show the Neil Savadra Show? They
- 11:03Speaker 3: do not.
- 11:05Speaker 1: You affectionately as Alexa, because you only listen when you
- 11:10Speaker 1: hear your own name.
- 11:11Speaker 2: That's a very good point.
- 11:15Speaker 5: Me.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Okay, you know what it's Neil. Okay, Okay, we're done.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I'll tell you what, Neil, I'll tell you what we've
- 11:25Speaker 3: We've done a very good job this morning offending each other.
- 11:29Speaker 3: So let's stop right now. Oh by the way, have
- 11:32Speaker 3: I told you how fat Neil is?
- 11:35Speaker 4: Bill?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Coming in? Ask handle Anything?
- 11:42Speaker 5: Oh?
- 11:42Speaker 4: I wonder what the questions are going to be about handle?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 11:47Speaker 3: It's time for ask handle Anything, which is about you
- 11:51Speaker 3: recording a question, asking me anything, and I'm pretty honest
- 11:56Speaker 3: about how and what I answer. Neil chooses the question
- 12:00Speaker 3: and every Friday we do it. So let's go for it.
- 12:04Speaker 3: To ask handle Anything? First question?
- 12:06Speaker 6: All right, question for ask handle Anything? Bill? One of
- 12:09Speaker 6: the things I appreciate about you is you're one of
- 12:11Speaker 6: the few liberal radio hosts who can actually praise Donald
- 12:15Speaker 6: Trump when you recognize he's done something good. So it
- 12:17Speaker 6: got me wondering. You're old enough to have been an
- 12:19Speaker 6: adult when the Nixon presidency ended. What was your opinion
- 12:22Speaker 6: of him at that time and has it changed in
- 12:25Speaker 6: the decades since?
- 12:26Speaker 4: Thank you well.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I thought Richard Nixon was one of the funniest guys
- 12:30Speaker 3: I have ever seen in my entire life. I mean,
- 12:34Speaker 3: he told a joke like no one ever did. Boy,
- 12:37Speaker 3: what a stand up he did.
- 12:39Speaker 2: My opinion was fairly early on he.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Was going to be impeached, certainly tried and convicted in
- 12:46Speaker 3: the Senate, and I thought he should have gone to
- 12:48Speaker 3: prison for obstruction of justice. So that was fairly easy.
- 12:52Speaker 3: And by the way, don't call me a liberal. I
- 12:54Speaker 3: am liberal in some areas, but I'm not in the
- 12:57Speaker 3: other areas.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Every time Nixon would do his thing, I got some
- 13:04Speaker 3: would I like him a lot.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Has it changed since time? Do you see it in
- 13:10Speaker 4: terms of my opinion of which you're Nixon?
- 13:11Speaker 3: No, absolutely, He's he rehabilitated himself in many ways, particularly
- 13:16Speaker 3: in foreign affairs, foreign relations. But the answer is no.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I mean the guy should have gone to prison. There's
- 13:22Speaker 3: no question about it.
- 13:26Speaker 7: Conno, Bill, I often hear you or you mentioned the
- 13:31Speaker 7: term don't give a rats ass. My question to you
- 13:35Speaker 7: is this, has there ever been a condition or a
- 13:37Speaker 7: time where you've had to give a rats ass? And
- 13:41Speaker 7: if you have, how did you obtain it?
- 13:44Speaker 3: Okay, first of all, I have obtained it, and I
- 13:48Speaker 3: have actually eaten rats ass. It's one of the better
- 13:54Speaker 3: pieces of meat protein. Neil will talk about that. And
- 13:56Speaker 3: where else do you get rats asses?
- 13:58Speaker 2: Costco?
- 14:00Speaker 3: They have a whole section of frozen rats asses A
- 14:03Speaker 3: little chewy, A little bit.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Moving on liberal radio hosts. Okay, hey, good morning.
- 14:14Speaker 8: Built a couple questions for you. You were blessed with
- 14:17Speaker 8: two beautiful twin girls when you know you had your kids.
- 14:20Speaker 8: My first question is what side of the family had
- 14:23Speaker 8: the twins, Marjorie or you? And then secondly, if they
- 14:26Speaker 8: would have been boys, how would you have raised them differently?
- 14:30Speaker 8: And would you have cursed one of them by giving
- 14:32Speaker 8: them your name?
- 14:35Speaker 2: Okay, first of all, it was the Marjorie side.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Her dad was a twin, so that came from there,
- 14:42Speaker 3: and what, I have given them my name. And by
- 14:46Speaker 3: the way, I was blessed with twirl two girls. Thank
- 14:49Speaker 3: you for using that phrase. I never have myself, and
- 14:54Speaker 3: I would not have given one of them my name
- 14:56Speaker 3: because having someone go through life named William or or
- 15:00Speaker 3: Bill and you're a girl is a little bit tough.
- 15:02Speaker 2: So no.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Also say if you had boys, oh if, I'm sorry,
- 15:07Speaker 3: if I had boys. No, And here's why. And there's
- 15:10Speaker 3: a legitimate reason. Uh.
- 15:12Speaker 2: In the Jewish persuasion, you do not give names. You
- 15:17Speaker 2: do not name people after folks we are still alive.
- 15:20Speaker 3: So I was named after my grandfather, and my girls
- 15:24Speaker 3: were named after Marjorie's mom, who had died before they
- 15:29Speaker 3: were born.
- 15:30Speaker 4: So know that.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Jews, except for Sephardic Jews, Ashkenazi Jews East European Jews,
- 15:37Speaker 3: do not name their kids on.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Based on living relatives. They just don't do it.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Would you have loved your your your twins if they
- 15:46Speaker 4: were boys?
- 15:48Speaker 2: I don't love them now, So I have no idea.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, let's do one more and then we'll take
- 15:55Speaker 2: a break.
- 15:56Speaker 9: Good morning, Bill. This is Joe Lynn from Lacagnata and
- 16:01Speaker 9: I'm being perky just to annoy you anyway. You are
- 16:05Speaker 9: so mean sometimes to poor Neil and poor Will and
- 16:08Speaker 9: actually to everyone. And I was just wondering what the
- 16:11Speaker 9: relationship with your.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Father was like.
- 16:13Speaker 9: Would he belittling and domineering? And this fact why you
- 16:17Speaker 9: are so caustic to everyone?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Ask a good question.
- 16:21Speaker 3: By the way, as far as Neil and Will are concerned,
- 16:27Speaker 3: I do make fun of the three of them.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Only because.
- 16:33Speaker 4: That was actually funny.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Okay, let's finish it up.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Last segment of the last hour of the last day
- 16:45Speaker 3: of the second to third to last Friday. Okay, more
- 16:54Speaker 3: ask handle anything.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Question.
- 16:56Speaker 10: Hey, Bill, you're interviewing doctor Jim right now. So what
- 16:59Speaker 10: I'm wondering is during an interviews, has he ever leaved
- 17:02Speaker 10: because there is a n actual emergency in the hospital.
- 17:07Speaker 3: I don't think he's ever been late, but I think
- 17:09Speaker 3: we've missed his interview once or twice. But the good
- 17:13Speaker 3: news is for Jim and this is show how dedicated
- 17:17Speaker 3: he is being on the show is far more important
- 17:21Speaker 3: than whether a patient lives or dies.
- 17:24Speaker 2: He'll just let him croak and let him.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Rot, screaming in the background during the interview.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's great. I love Jim on the show.
- 17:32Speaker 3: So No, I don't think he's ever left for an emergency.
- 17:36Speaker 10: Good morning Bill, Matt and the Ie, I'll hail Kono.
- 17:39Speaker 10: Speaking of the royal family, I believe they hold power.
- 17:42Speaker 6: Does the king.
- 17:43Speaker 10: Actually have power other than influence of being rich? But
- 17:47Speaker 10: does he hold power? Is there things that he makes
- 17:50Speaker 10: policy on? What do they contribute to the country other
- 17:53Speaker 10: than influence and stature.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good question.
- 17:57Speaker 3: No, he has absolutely no power, no constitutional power whatsoever.
- 18:01Speaker 2: He does not make policy.
- 18:03Speaker 3: On top of that, the king royalty, they stay completely neutral.
- 18:08Speaker 3: They're not even allowed to go that's tradition. But the
- 18:12Speaker 3: power the king has, as you pointed out, is simply
- 18:18Speaker 3: because royalty and he is so admired, particularly Andrew, who
- 18:23Speaker 3: is admired by everyone in England. But the answer your
- 18:27Speaker 3: question no, absolutely no power except he can. He actually
- 18:31Speaker 3: can change policy simply by saying I am troubled by
- 18:35Speaker 3: what's going on, that sort of thing, but doesn't do it.
- 18:38Speaker 2: So the answer is no, no power.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Con morning Bill.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Hey, hopefully you can share a little story about this.
- 18:46Speaker 2: But you and Neil Sevadra have known each other for
- 18:49Speaker 2: twenty years.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Have you ever seen each other.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Baar ass naked that's it.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Many many times Neil has requested that I removed my clothing.
- 19:01Speaker 2: We have actually roomed together lower.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Uh, No, you've never seen me naked. I don't think.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I don't think I have no.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I've seen you more times.
- 19:11Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I have a picture of
- 19:13Speaker 1: your bare ass that when you were in for your
- 19:17Speaker 1: heart valve surgery.
- 19:19Speaker 4: There's you were.
- 19:20Speaker 1: The nurse was taking you to the bathroom and you
- 19:23Speaker 1: had your gown.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Oh that Yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 1: The Gollon opened the picture and Bill didn't even turn around.
- 19:30Speaker 1: He just started laughing exactly what was happening. Yeah, but yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 1: we've roomed in New York together and you came out here.
- 19:37Speaker 1: We have I think there's also like a tiny bird
- 19:41Speaker 1: nest with a little baby burden.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Nicely done. I think there is a picture of you
- 19:45Speaker 3: getting a colonoscopy. Uh and that lovely uh koo sort
- 19:50Speaker 3: of sticking out where it should shouldn't have had a
- 19:54Speaker 3: picture of all right, I thought you had a tail
- 19:56Speaker 3: for a while. Yeah. Next question, this.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Is Jennifer from Ocean Side asking handles. Since you come
- 20:05Speaker 5: from a family of dentists and you brush, floss and
- 20:09Speaker 5: water pick every day, how many fillings do you have
- 20:12Speaker 5: how many crowns? Okay, plants?
- 20:15Speaker 3: Okay, no good question, no implants. One crown and I've
- 20:21Speaker 3: had three fillings in my life. And that's when you
- 20:25Speaker 3: take care of yourself the way I do it was
- 20:28Speaker 3: certainly oral hygiene.
- 20:30Speaker 2: The rest of it.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I wouldn't use the word hygiene as I take care
- 20:33Speaker 3: of myself. That's that's your answer.
- 20:38Speaker 7: Was it?
- 20:38Speaker 2: One crown?
- 20:39Speaker 3: And I have one bridge too, because I had I
- 20:42Speaker 3: had a tooth, literally, I had a root canal on
- 20:46Speaker 3: a tooth that went very very early in my days.
- 20:49Speaker 3: And I bit on a cracker at a Carls Junior
- 20:54Speaker 3: when they had the buffet, the salad buffet. I don't
- 20:56Speaker 3: know if they still do. And I bit on a
- 20:59Speaker 3: cracker and my tooth went split right in half. So
- 21:03Speaker 3: they had to do a bridge there. Just weird, I mean,
- 21:05Speaker 3: just happened.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Okay. Is that when you decided to become a lawyer?
- 21:08Speaker 3: Uh No, No, I never decided to become a lawyer.
- 21:12Speaker 3: That was never a decision I made.
- 21:16Speaker 2: It's a default.
- 21:16Speaker 3: It's a default when a Jewish guy, when Jewish kids
- 21:20Speaker 3: or guys uh graduate college and have no idea, no
- 21:24Speaker 3: idea what to do with the default is law school?
- 21:26Speaker 2: Got you all right? I think we have time for
- 21:29Speaker 2: one more.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Hey, this is no one in San Diego. So when
- 21:32Speaker 6: Bill is finally put out the pasture, I'm not allowed
- 21:34Speaker 6: to be anywhere near a radio microphone.
- 21:37Speaker 2: How will he spend his days in retirement?
- 21:42Speaker 3: Is that I didn't even understand that if when I retire,
- 21:45Speaker 3: you when you put out the.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Pastor oh okay, the pasture, Yeah, what.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Are you going to do with yourself?
- 21:52Speaker 3: I'll go on all fours and just munch grass, uh
- 21:56Speaker 3: for hours and hours a day when I'm put out
- 21:59Speaker 3: to pasture. See that a bad joke, by the way,
- 22:01Speaker 3: That one didn't work at a lot from me. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:05Speaker 7: You know.
- 22:06Speaker 2: The reality is I don't know. Here's the problem. No hobbies.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I don't go I don't golf because there's there's there
- 22:12Speaker 3: was at a human being on this planet that I
- 22:14Speaker 3: would spend five and a half hours with on a
- 22:16Speaker 3: golf course.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Uh.
- 22:17Speaker 3: And so I have no hobbies and I don't know,
- 22:19Speaker 3: and I have no friends other than Neil. And how
- 22:21Speaker 3: often do we get together? He's got a family lives
- 22:23Speaker 3: up there, so I haven't the foggiest notion.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Good question, but.
- 22:30Speaker 4: I just don't know why you're still in the radio.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Yeah, which is why I'm old.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Will never retire.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Well, I'm never going to retire.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I mean, I I probably retire morning dry that I'll retire,
- 22:42Speaker 3: but I you know, I'm going to keep my my
- 22:44Speaker 3: foot and door, my head, nor my arm or whatever
- 22:48Speaker 3: they do, and.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Into a lot of other stuff. Yeah, I can't think
- 22:50Speaker 2: of I would die because I got nothing. I have
- 22:54Speaker 2: no friends, I hate my family, I have no hobbies.
- 22:57Speaker 2: What do you do with that?
- 22:59Speaker 9: Or the.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll pick it up again on Monday tomorrow to
- 23:05Speaker 2: end the show. Yeah, damn right.
- 23:07Speaker 3: So tomorrow it's handled on the Law from eight to
- 23:09Speaker 3: eleven o'clock, the Tech Show with a Rich tomorrow until two,
- 23:13Speaker 3: and then Neil from two to five o'clock on his
- 23:16Speaker 3: show live tomorrow.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Oh oh god, you should have I should have known.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I would have gone.
- 23:23Speaker 4: You're always welcome to cop I would have gone tomorrow.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Baby, Yeah, I am a big baby. Yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Well yeah, okay, let me check that one out. Uh

- 23:37Speaker 3: again with the normal crowd. We've got uh Neil and
