  Speaker 2: Yeah, we've just the spring, we completed our thirty first

  Speaker 2: mission flying two six hundred and fifty five veterans out

  Speaker 2: to DC, with more than three hundred on our waiting

  Speaker 2: less waiting for the chance to go. And we're excited

  Speaker 2: for two more flights this fall late September and on

  Speaker 2: the twenty second, the twenty ninth. But of course, funds

  Speaker 2: are needed to get those flights off the ground. So

  Speaker 2: we've got a couple of fun raisers coming up that

  Speaker 2: how we're excited to share as well.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, we're going to chat about one of those today

  Speaker 1: and then we'll mention the other one. But we're going

  Speaker 1: to visit about that other one another time. So let's

  Speaker 1: start with Monday, August seventeenth, Barrel House Day of Giving

  Speaker 1: for Midwest Honor Flight. And this is a really simple thing.

  Speaker 1: what I was going to do anyway, just have dinner

  Speaker 1: and then you guys benefit from that, right exactly.

  Speaker 2: You know the Barrel only supporter of us. Since twenty eighteen,

  Speaker 2: we've been having a fundraiser with them annually on a
• 1:28
  Speaker 2: Monday on August, and you know they generate the funds.

  Speaker 2: And like you said, John, it's so simple as coming

  Speaker 2: out to eat, as if you were going to eat anyway,

  Speaker 2: come on out. Ten percent of your bill is going

  Speaker 2: to be donated back to Midwiest Honor Flight, along with

  Speaker 2: any donations that are collected that day. And we'll have

  Speaker 2: representatives on site too to answer any questions, pass out

  Speaker 2: applications if there's veterans that haven't had the chance to

  Speaker 2: go yet. We'd love to get anybody that served from

  Speaker 2: World War II through Vietnam out to their memorials in Washington,

  Speaker 2: DC as soon as we can.

  Speaker 1: And again, this is such a wonderful thing. If if

  Speaker 1: is literally for anybody that wants to, anybody that's going

  Speaker 1: to eat or drink something, It all goes to Midwest

  Speaker 1: Honer Flight. So it's open to everyone, right absolutely, Yep.

  Speaker 2: We want to as many people as we can to

  Speaker 2: come out and every dollar helps us get these flights
• 2:35
  Speaker 2: off the ground. And with rising cost of everything, Fundraisers

  Speaker 2: like this are crucial to making these flights happen for

  Speaker 2: for our American heroes. And so if you know a

  Speaker 2: veteran and you want to support the work that we do,

  Speaker 1: just Sioux Falls veterans from the whole Midwest that are

  Speaker 1: a part of this, and again, people from anywhere in
