- 0:00Speaker 1: Listen, man, I'm sorry it took so long. Yes, why
- 0:03Speaker 1: did it? Well, first of all, you had a dead mouse,
- 0:05Speaker 1: but I had a dead mouse.
- 0:07Speaker 2: And listen, audience, this is your public service announcement to
- 0:09Speaker 2: make sure you charge your mouse because you might be
- 0:12Speaker 2: going to do a podcast and your mouse is dead,
- 0:14Speaker 2: and you got to tell your friends hang on and
- 0:15Speaker 2: say you gotta charge my mouse.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Gotta charge that.
- 0:18Speaker 2: But that took all of a minute and thirty seconds. Stone,
- 0:21Speaker 2: why did you take nine minutes?
- 0:23Speaker 1: So my daughter for her birthday, I bought her some
- 0:27Speaker 1: DJ equipment, and so in order to use said DJ equipment,
- 0:35Speaker 1: she stole my laptop and all of its devices to
- 0:38Speaker 1: connect it, I see, And so I had to call
- 0:41Speaker 1: my wife just now. I had to call my wife
- 0:43Speaker 1: just now and be like, hey, look where's her shit
- 0:45Speaker 1: at because a lot of my connections are still plugged
- 0:48Speaker 1: into her stuff. And she was like, it's here. And
- 0:50Speaker 1: so that's why it took nine minutes. It took me
- 0:52Speaker 1: eight minutes to realize I needed to call my wife,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and then right after that I was I'm here here.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And then how many of those nine minutes were you
- 0:59Speaker 2: pulling hits?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Donald zetto so I've only pulled one bong hit today
- 1:05Speaker 1: and that was early this morning.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Oh was it for breakfast? Donald?
- 1:08Speaker 1: It was not for breakfast. It was just like the wakes.
- 1:11Speaker 1: It was just for the wakes. I worked out today.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Oh nice.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Not only did I work out today, I worked out
- 1:18Speaker 1: to exhaustion, to the point where I almost threw up
- 1:21Speaker 1: in front of my trainer.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Good for you. Now you feel good. You feel you
- 1:26Speaker 2: feel like.
- 1:26Speaker 1: No, I feel like shit right now.
- 1:28Speaker 2: You want to give yourself a pat on the back
- 1:30Speaker 2: for me, I.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Do feel mentally. Mentally, I feel like I've accomplished it.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I did what I said I was gonna do.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'll be back tomorrow.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Amen. I got on the treadmill right before this. I
- 1:41Speaker 2: didn't want to get on the Do you think I
- 1:43Speaker 2: wanted to get on the treadmill. I didn't, But I
- 1:44Speaker 2: did it because I promised myself, Donald, Yeah, I promised
- 1:48Speaker 2: myself that self and I we're gonna get ten thousand
- 1:52Speaker 2: steps a day. So self and I needed to get
- 1:54Speaker 2: on the treadmill and watch some shark tank.
- 1:57Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I got to tell you, I'm scared to make deals
- 1:59Speaker 1: with myself, because once you make a deal with yourself,
- 2:02Speaker 1: you can't break it right, Like, that's the ultimate.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Oh, you got to keep your word. You gotta keep you.
- 2:06Speaker 1: If you can't keep your word to yourself, then what
- 2:08Speaker 1: the fuck?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Word is bond? Donald? Write that down? Word is bond?
- 2:12Speaker 1: I've heard that a few times before.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you've heard it because I'm the one who made
- 2:16Speaker 2: it up.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Oh did you you know it did come from Nork?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Did it?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah? Word is bond as a new Jersey slang? Oh
- 2:25Speaker 1: really from back in the day.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I just assumed it was. It was like a hip
- 2:28Speaker 2: hop like saying.
- 2:31Speaker 1: No, it's a new Jersey slang from back in the day.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Okay, word is bond.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And it's and it's and it's made its way. It's
- 2:37Speaker 1: a Garden State slang.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. Listen, it's been twenty years since
- 2:41Speaker 2: I made the movie Garden State. Did you know that?
- 2:45Speaker 1: It just means we're old, bro.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Twenty years we're talking about putting on a Carrie Brothers
- 2:49Speaker 2: had this idea to put on a twentieth anniversary twenty
- 2:53Speaker 2: anniversary year concert for charity where we get as many
- 2:57Speaker 2: of the bands together as possible and and and put
- 3:01Speaker 2: on a show. What do you think of that?
- 3:02Speaker 1: That'd be cool.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah, what have a.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Meaning to type situation?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Well, not as big as Live Aid, but but somewhere
- 3:10Speaker 2: in la like ideally like the Greek or maybe even
- 3:12Speaker 2: the Hollywood Bowl. I don't know how many if we'd
- 3:14Speaker 2: sell Hollywood Bowl amount of tickets, but like, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 2: get it if you got the Hall. I mean, I
- 3:18Speaker 2: don't know if we'd get Paul Simon, but maybe you
- 3:21Speaker 2: get a lot of those bands together and together. I
- 3:25Speaker 2: mean I would try. I mean it's worth trying.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I think you could get back together, whatever their names is.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Let go, let go.
- 3:33Speaker 2: That's I believe a character from Lord. I mean. My
- 3:40Speaker 2: point is that, just like putting the soundtrack together, once
- 3:44Speaker 2: you get one, you'd start to get the other. Like
- 3:46Speaker 2: if the Shins say yes, and and then and then
- 3:49Speaker 2: you know, image and Heap says yes, and then Colin
- 3:52Speaker 2: Hay says yes. Little by little people start to say yes,
- 3:54Speaker 2: you never know. And if you put the whole thing
- 3:55Speaker 2: together except Coldplay, and then you go Chris, Everybody's coming,
- 3:59Speaker 2: but you please, you never know.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You get Chris to do one song, You've you've crushed
- 4:05Speaker 1: everyone's for charity. He's a very to do a set.
- 4:09Speaker 1: This motherfucker only needs to do one song, well, and
- 4:12Speaker 1: obviously we got to play one song and one song only.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Let's say obviously, well, obviously Nick Drake has passed away,
- 4:19Speaker 2: and obviously it's Paul Simon feels like the biggest long shots.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So you could have really cool artists do covers of
- 4:25Speaker 2: their songs, right, that'd be cool.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Get Charlotte to perform.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, I mean, I don't know. Between
- 4:31Speaker 2: the people I know and the people Carry knows and
- 4:33Speaker 2: the people Bill and Christen know, I feel like I
- 4:36Speaker 2: don't know, it could be huge and it would all
- 4:37Speaker 2: be for for an amazing charity. We'd all be for
- 4:39Speaker 2: good and it'd be a.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Nostalgic take my money, I'm in, Well, you definitely be there.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I get in for free though, right, No, you'd.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Be giving money to the charity. You don't get camped
- 4:48Speaker 2: if it's for charity. Word Yeah, word is bond.
- 4:59Speaker 1: See how we bought around audience?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, see that that's mastery. Hey Donald, there is a
- 5:03Speaker 2: show on Netflix. You don't watch things. It's called Baby Reindeer.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Wait a second, how do y'all watch show?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Baby Reindeer?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Is this a real show?
- 5:14Speaker 2: It's a real show and it's a real story, and it's.
- 5:17Speaker 1: The craziest follow a baby reindeer.
- 5:19Speaker 2: It has nothing to do with a baby reindeer. This
- 5:23Speaker 2: is why where are you going? Oh god, what is
- 5:27Speaker 2: he doing? This is when the bong hit comes.
- 5:30Speaker 1: In, Daniel, can you hit that man talking in the background.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Not on zoom, but maybe in the mic.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I can't tell.
- 5:38Speaker 2: You might hear some birds, Daniel, don't yell at me.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I can't. I can't close my doors. It's too hot.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's okay, I get it. Audience all scolds us when
- 5:45Speaker 2: he hears birds. He wants you to have such a
- 5:49Speaker 2: clean track that there'd be no birds on the soundtrack.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So but we want you to know that Donald and
- 5:54Speaker 2: I have to open our windows, so you're gonna hear birds.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I think it's I think it adds a nice element
- 5:59Speaker 2: to the It's like we're doing in a garden.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Sounds natural, it's it's very it's very garden esque.
- 6:05Speaker 2: You know, imagine Donald and I if it helps you,
- 6:08Speaker 2: imagine Donald and I sitting in a beautiful garden with
- 6:10Speaker 2: two microphones doing this podcast for you, which we kind
- 6:14Speaker 2: of are. He's in his house with a garden outside,
- 6:17Speaker 2: and I'm with the garden outside mine.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That's true.
- 6:20Speaker 2: We're just not together with our with with my legs up.
- 6:22Speaker 1: There, and we're not sitting in our garden anyway.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Baby Reindeer, you guys, Donald, I'll just tell you this
- 6:27Speaker 2: since you're not gonna watch it. And an insane story
- 6:31Speaker 2: happened to this comedian that involved a stalker. And the
- 6:35Speaker 2: story is so fucking nuts. I couldn't begin to describe
- 6:38Speaker 2: it other than the main thing being he has an
- 6:39Speaker 2: insane stalker and he decides to not only write the story,
- 6:47Speaker 2: but then star in the story and as a reenactment.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And Baby Reindeer is a series on Netflix. I think
- 6:52Speaker 2: it's the number one show on Netflix right now, that's
- 6:54Speaker 2: how popular it is. Where this guy and he's so
- 6:58Speaker 2: talent as an actor. I had to I had to google.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Was this really the guy that this happened to? And
- 7:02Speaker 2: it is. It's his story. He wrote it, he stars
- 7:05Speaker 2: in it, and he reenacts the insane thing that happened
- 7:09Speaker 2: to him, And I can't I can't more highly recommend anything, Right,
- 7:12Speaker 2: Joelle with me.
- 7:14Speaker 4: It's incredibly well written and potentially horrifying. I have a
- 7:19Speaker 4: number of friends who are survivors of stalkers. He said,
- 7:22Speaker 4: the show is like scary accurate, and I feel like
- 7:26Speaker 4: the creators just very brave to go through all of
- 7:30Speaker 4: this again put himself through a lot of the trauma
- 7:32Speaker 4: that he survived. The actress who places stalker in the
- 7:37Speaker 4: show gave a statement that like, while they were on
- 7:40Speaker 4: set shooting, she went to check in on her co star.
- 7:42Speaker 4: The creator just be like, hey, Okay, He's like sorry.
- 7:45Speaker 4: It's like I'm spending time with her right now, and
- 7:48Speaker 4: it's really hart.
- 7:49Speaker 2: She's an incredible actress. By the way, the woman who plays.
- 7:51Speaker 1: But did he actually hang out with his stalker or
- 7:54Speaker 1: the stocker?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yes, is a stalker. I don't want to spoil too much,
- 7:57Speaker 2: but yes, she's very, very very entwine his life, and
- 8:02Speaker 2: because at times he feels bad for her, he wrestles
- 8:06Speaker 2: with how to handle it. But anyway, it's a very
- 8:09Speaker 2: traumatic story, but it's incredibly told, and it's just you know,
- 8:13Speaker 2: this gentleman and the woman who plays a stalker are
- 8:15Speaker 2: such phenomenal actors that it's hard to believe that it's
- 8:19Speaker 2: his story and he wrote it. So anyway, audience, that
- 8:22Speaker 2: is my Zach Braff streaming pick of the week.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Do you find that. It's so it's so hard, like
- 8:29Speaker 1: some of the stories that we're seeing now, in order
- 8:32Speaker 1: for the audience to believe such insane situations, it has
- 8:36Speaker 1: to be based on a true story first, you know
- 8:38Speaker 1: what I mean, Like a lot of things now, Like
- 8:41Speaker 1: if I told that story, the story that you're talking about, yeah,
- 8:45Speaker 1: without it really happening to somebody, people will be like,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I don't buy it. There's no way. You might.
- 8:52Speaker 2: You might, but the whole time you're right, you might.
- 8:54Speaker 2: But the whole time you're watching this, you're thinking two things. One,
- 8:58Speaker 2: holy shit, this happened to this person, And be holy shit,
- 9:02Speaker 2: this guy is who it happened to, and he's such
- 9:05Speaker 2: a good actor that he's reliving the whole experience. I mean,
- 9:09Speaker 2: it's kind of like a documentary really, but it's told
- 9:12Speaker 2: through a giant reenactment. There's never there's never a moment
- 9:15Speaker 2: of documentary footage. It's all a reenactment of this insane
- 9:19Speaker 2: story that happened to him. I never see anything like it, right, Joell.
- 9:22Speaker 2: It's kind of like it's it's it's never I've never
- 9:24Speaker 2: seen another someone do something like this.
- 9:27Speaker 4: No, I can't recall someone I'm sure I'm sure in
- 9:31Speaker 4: somewhere deep in the indie like film history, someone has
- 9:35Speaker 4: taken on the monumental task of being like this actually
- 9:37Speaker 4: happened to me, and I put myself back and I
- 9:40Speaker 4: cast the people that were around me there like the
- 9:42Speaker 4: It's like, as a psychological experiment, it's kind of mind
- 9:47Speaker 4: breaking to be like, how did you do this? And
- 9:49Speaker 4: now for it to get all of this acclaim and
- 9:51Speaker 4: to be constantly talking about it and reliving it like
- 9:54Speaker 4: I don't know, but it also seems to be helping
- 9:56Speaker 4: a lot of people, both people who've I've been victims
- 9:59Speaker 4: of stock and people who've committed acts of stalking. I
- 10:04Speaker 4: guess to sort of like talk about like why does
- 10:06Speaker 4: this happen? And how do you handle something like this?
- 10:10Speaker 4: And that's such a human way. I think a lot
- 10:11Speaker 4: of people's reaction is just oh, like call the police
- 10:13Speaker 4: and leave them alone. But there isn't like an actual
- 10:16Speaker 4: person reacting with it's crazy. It's it's it's like it's
- 10:19Speaker 4: a real mind bender to think about.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Want to be on any side of that. I never
- 10:23Speaker 1: want to be stalked and I never want to be
- 10:25Speaker 1: a stalker.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I don't feel like sometimes you stalk me Donald's Yeah.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But that's only because I go through your emails every
- 10:31Speaker 1: now and then.
- 10:31Speaker 2: But like, I never get to know Unfortunately, I never
- 10:35Speaker 2: really get to see you.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Donald.
- 10:36Speaker 2: And I participated in a zoom call with with a
- 10:39Speaker 2: surgeon and his best friend because once a year Jake
- 10:43Speaker 2: tapparass us to do this charity. All the money goes
- 10:47Speaker 2: to UH Wounded Warriors and UH and and we had
- 10:51Speaker 2: these with Donald and I want to have them on
- 10:52Speaker 2: the podcast because they were such interesting guys. One's an
- 10:55Speaker 2: orthopedic surgeon and the others best friend. I forgot what
- 10:58Speaker 2: he does.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Donald is like a video editor, is he?
- 11:02Speaker 2: I think the tech guy? I don't know what he does.
- 11:05Speaker 2: He never really got clear. But they reminded us a
- 11:08Speaker 2: lot of ourselves because they were very similar to us.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Anyway, my point was that I got to hang out
- 11:13Speaker 2: with Donald outside of this podcast, which I never do
- 11:16Speaker 2: because between his family and his kids, basketball and his agoraphobia,
- 11:21Speaker 2: I just never see him. So it was nice to
- 11:23Speaker 2: see Donald outside of the podcast briefly as we as
- 11:26Speaker 2: we talked to these nice fellows.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I'm glad you glad you enjoyed you know'd be.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Funny if I told you that it was if I
- 11:33Speaker 2: told you, like, hey man, we have that charity zoom
- 11:36Speaker 2: and you're like, oh okay, yeah yeah, and then you
- 11:38Speaker 2: got on.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I was like, just kidding, just us awesome. I'm like,
- 11:42Speaker 1: oh man, you tricked me.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Can't get him on the phone. Doesn't text me back,
- 11:49Speaker 2: he doesn't text. I send you memes and you don't
- 11:51Speaker 2: even HU came and heart the memes I did.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You just reposted it? Is that what I did.
- 11:58Speaker 2: No, what you do is you just send me you memes.
- 12:00Speaker 2: You don't give any hearts or hahas.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Have to acknowledge the memes.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Donald, Joel, I want to acknowledge you. Joel is a
- 12:07Speaker 2: great meme recipient. Joel will because I send them to
- 12:12Speaker 2: Joel too, and she will either heart or comment. Sometimes
- 12:15Speaker 2: she'll be like, oh my god, that is so true,
- 12:17Speaker 2: or I know a person just like this. Donald, you
- 12:20Speaker 2: should be more like Joelle. You don't ever give any
- 12:23Speaker 2: reception to my memes.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, did you do it through the DMS?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah? I went down to the DMS.
- 12:29Speaker 1: You put you you put it down into DMS. Yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 2: All you do is you just you just reply with
- 12:33Speaker 2: your own ship. You don't go Haha, that guy's crazy.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I'm giving you examples of things.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I don't know what to write in dms anymore. Man,
- 12:41Speaker 1: I just don't know what to write because people like,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'll send a meme and somebody will be like that's inappropriate,
- 12:47Speaker 1: and I'm like, WHOA, my bad?
- 12:50Speaker 2: So I don't know what to You send private, you
- 12:52Speaker 2: DM someone private, you put it on public? What do
- 12:54Speaker 2: you mean when you when you when you say when
- 12:57Speaker 2: someone you're saying a stranger, or you send it to
- 12:58Speaker 2: a friend and they're like, it's in.
- 12:59Speaker 1: A a friend And I'll be like, oh, yeah, you.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Got to pick who you send your memes to.
- 13:05Speaker 1: No I had I had I was not only was
- 13:09Speaker 1: I are I needed? Also?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Are you learning at fifty years old that you shouldn't
- 13:15Speaker 2: necessarily contact people when you're super bigd.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I've learned that one drinking and I at a certain
- 13:22Speaker 1: point it got to stop. Dude. At a certain point,
- 13:25Speaker 1: I get to a level where I'm nice at first,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden it becomes I'm going
- 13:30Speaker 1: to fucking kill you.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah alcohol, not even once.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Not even once, and then now with the weed, I'm
- 13:36Speaker 1: at the point now where it's like I don't want
- 13:37Speaker 1: to do that shit all day long. Man, you know
- 13:41Speaker 1: I like I like the taste of it and stuff
- 13:43Speaker 1: like that. You know, I don't need that. I don't.
- 13:47Speaker 5: I don't.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I don't need to feel like I'm not even here.
- 13:49Speaker 2: All day long. Well, if we can make that a
- 13:52Speaker 2: sound button for you, and I can play it for
- 13:55Speaker 2: you once an episode, if you want, just to help
- 13:57Speaker 2: encourage you.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Well, you know it has been since this It's been
- 14:01Speaker 1: since this morning, can you tell? So?
- 14:04Speaker 2: So you're going on a weed break? And it began
- 14:06Speaker 2: it began after this morning, after this morning, oh.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Boy, after I woke up and had my little morning Hello.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Your morning two, my morning hello. Yeah, just a little
- 14:20Speaker 2: wake up dr Akula.
- 14:28Speaker 1: We should probably talk about scrugg.
- 14:34Speaker 6: Stories, that show we made about a bunch of docs
- 14:39Speaker 6: and nurses, said.
- 14:43Speaker 7: He's the stories nets. So gather ra here, yeather here.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I wanted to start off this episod. So where are
- 15:00Speaker 2: you going? You're out? You're dropping your mic and leaving?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Why did you bring them with you?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Okay? There because he took a morning bong hit. You know,
- 15:08Speaker 2: I I looked on Scrubs wiki about this episode, and there,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I guess there's a site called tv dot com that
- 15:14Speaker 2: rates UH episodes. I don't never heard of this before,
- 15:17Speaker 2: and Scrubs Wiki's never mentioned it before, but it said
- 15:21Speaker 2: that this episode, outside of UH, I think the clip show,
- 15:25Speaker 2: which would understand it would be the lowest because it's
- 15:27Speaker 2: a clip show. Of all Scrubs episodes, this was the
- 15:29Speaker 2: lowest rated of all the Scrubs episodes. Okay, I want
- 15:35Speaker 2: and I wanted to say that I don't. I don't
- 15:38Speaker 2: never been to TV dot com and I don't know
- 15:40Speaker 2: any of their users, but I agree.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It was boring.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I'll say that it was so boring and it wasn't
- 15:54Speaker 2: about any I mean, it was like, it's like, what
- 15:57Speaker 2: is it about? And what the fuck?
- 15:59Speaker 3: I mean?
- 15:59Speaker 2: A main storyline of this episode is that the security
- 16:04Speaker 2: guard that everyone has a key to the security guard's
- 16:07Speaker 2: golf cart and they're all stealing it. And those guys
- 16:10Speaker 2: are like clowns. They're they're like the most preposterously buffoonish.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Yeah, like crux of that gag has potential to work.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Trying to convince us in a single episode that Cole's
- 16:26Speaker 4: actually in love with Lucy and is not a complete
- 16:28Speaker 4: douche is just such a feat. I was like, I
- 16:31Speaker 4: cannot believe this show is trying to pull off in
- 16:33Speaker 4: this one. I don't buy anything from this a storyline
- 16:36Speaker 4: at all.
- 16:37Speaker 1: So that I was about to ask you, guys, could
- 16:39Speaker 1: you tell me which storyline was the A, B and
- 16:42Speaker 1: C storyline?
- 16:43Speaker 2: I have no idea. Well, yeah, I assume Lucy and Cole. Right, so, well,
- 16:48Speaker 2: the theme they introduced right off the bat is that
- 16:51Speaker 2: there's two there's most No, the theme is people are
- 16:55Speaker 2: coupling up.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And the couples are Coal and Lucy, Dru and Denis
- 17:01Speaker 2: and Turk and uh doc doctor Cox. So that's that's
- 17:05Speaker 2: what they That's the sort of premise they tried to
- 17:07Speaker 2: sit up for this episode, Our Couples. It's called our Couples,
- 17:11Speaker 2: for God's sakes. Oh, by the way, did the titles
- 17:14Speaker 2: changed the hour once I left?
- 17:16Speaker 4: The season nine?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Has the whole thing has been our Oh?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Really? Okay? I didn't know that there's some trivia that
- 17:22Speaker 2: that there was not mentioned on Scrumswiki Lucy and call
- 17:26Speaker 2: her a up. Lucy has quite a libido. I should
- 17:28Speaker 2: say she's some Yeah, that's another way to put that.
- 17:33Speaker 1: That's the right way to put it. Is the truth.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Lucy seems to clown. She's down to clown. She she is.
- 17:41Speaker 2: It's on her mind a lot.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yes, she's she That song should have been about her.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Lucy is down to get down down.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true, Lucy, she's down and she really likes
- 17:57Speaker 2: banging Cole. I mean he must be great in this
- 18:00Speaker 2: because she really really likes him. What we learned in
- 18:04Speaker 2: this episode, she really likes him.
- 18:05Speaker 1: He does it right.
- 18:07Speaker 2: She turns her horses around before they have sex in
- 18:09Speaker 2: her dorm room. She doesn't want any of her horses
- 18:13Speaker 2: watching them have sex. But they have so much sex
- 18:16Speaker 2: that she should just leave the horses turned away.
- 18:18Speaker 1: She needs to get rid of the horses. It's time
- 18:19Speaker 1: to get rid of the horses. And if that's the case,
- 18:21Speaker 1: you need to make it a choice. You need to
- 18:23Speaker 1: make a choice. See what's it going to be. It's
- 18:24Speaker 1: going to be the horses or is it going to
- 18:26Speaker 1: be the sex.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Well, it just seems to me they have so much
- 18:28Speaker 2: sex that she's wasting a lot of her hours in
- 18:31Speaker 2: a day turning those horses back around. She should just
- 18:34Speaker 2: leave them facing the wall.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It opens up every episode.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, every episode ends with them having sex with them.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Do you think that's because they're thinking, like, okay, Scrubs,
- 18:44Speaker 2: Med School, we need to make it sexy. We're going
- 18:46Speaker 2: to hire these young sexy people, like every episode should
- 18:49Speaker 2: open with two sexy people having sex.
- 18:52Speaker 1: But they're not. It's not like we're seeing ash cheek
- 18:56Speaker 1: or shoulder. You know, we're not even that kind of show.
- 18:59Speaker 2: You're not meant to see like ask cheap.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So how is that? I just don't understand how that's sexy? Then,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you know what I mean, sexy is a visual thing.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Well, people still people still get titillated when they see
- 19:07Speaker 2: people in bed topless together. If you're flipping channels and
- 19:12Speaker 2: you're like, Okay, there's Raser, there's whoa, there's two sexy
- 19:16Speaker 2: people in bed naked. What is this? I'm just asking.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I mean, that's obviously going to trigger me. I'm going
- 19:22Speaker 1: to turn in. Yeah, we all know me, and there's
- 19:26Speaker 1: not one person out there that's not like, of course, Donald,
- 19:29Speaker 1: watch is.
- 19:29Speaker 2: That I'm listening to this? This is probably my mind
- 19:33Speaker 2: because Carrie Brothers turned me onto this amazing audiobook I
- 19:36Speaker 2: recommend to y'all. The book is Leave the Gun, Take
- 19:41Speaker 2: the Canoli, and it's the whole story of the Making
- 19:43Speaker 2: of the Godfather. Oh yeah, by Mark Seal, and it's
- 19:47Speaker 2: just incredible if you love behind the scenes movie making tales.
- 19:51Speaker 2: But rather than read the book, carry said, the guy
- 19:54Speaker 2: who reads the book on tape is really good, So
- 19:57Speaker 2: listen to it. And I've been listening to it and
- 19:58Speaker 2: it's so amazing.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I love it.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I highly highly recommend that I put it on every
- 20:02Speaker 2: time in the car. But I think I've been thinking
- 20:04Speaker 2: about this because Paramount and the producers wanted Mario Puzzo,
- 20:10Speaker 2: the author of the novel, who was writing the first
- 20:12Speaker 2: draft of the screenplay, to open the movie with sex.
- 20:15Speaker 2: There's a lot of more sex, I think in the
- 20:16Speaker 2: novel than is in the film. When Coppola finally got
- 20:20Speaker 2: his hands on rewriting it, he made the masterpiece of
- 20:23Speaker 2: a screenplay that it is. But there was pressure before
- 20:26Speaker 2: Copola came on to have it be to open with
- 20:28Speaker 2: sex and have a lot more sex. And so when
- 20:30Speaker 2: Copola first got it, it was like the movie open
- 20:32Speaker 2: with Kay and Michael having sex. And Copola was like, what,
- 20:38Speaker 2: this is not how this movie is going to open.
- 20:40Speaker 2: But maybe that's why that came to my brain first. Sorry,
- 20:43Speaker 2: that was a long winded way of saying people like
- 20:46Speaker 2: to open their projects with sex.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Wow.
- 20:51Speaker 2: But anyway, we are correct I think in that many
- 20:54Speaker 2: of these Scrubs med school episodes open with sex.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'm sure Scrub back in the day we opened with sex.
- 21:01Speaker 1: But we had like nine eight seasons of you know
- 21:04Speaker 1: what I mean, and it wasn't every episode, but this
- 21:06Speaker 1: one seems like every episode is just sex, open with sex.
- 21:10Speaker 2: And Lucy and Cole. Lucy and Cole in particular.
- 21:13Speaker 1: We don't see yet. We haven't seen Denise and Drew
- 21:17Speaker 1: do it.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Well, they hook up a lot, but but but we
- 21:20Speaker 2: don't open the show with them naked.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Have we seen them in a bed? Have we seen
- 21:25Speaker 1: have we.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Seen them like like like putting their clothes back on
- 21:28Speaker 2: or like can they started off as.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Just hooking up and they're like surprise in a relationship,
- 21:34Speaker 4: all right.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Turk and doctor Cox they're doing a thing called hands
- 21:38Speaker 2: on a Koma patient.
- 21:39Speaker 1: They're competing again, they're competing thing.
- 21:42Speaker 2: For those of you who don't remember, there was a movie,
- 21:44Speaker 2: a documentary that's amazing called hands On a Hard Body.
- 21:48Speaker 2: You remember that, Donald, No. It was a competition at
- 21:52Speaker 2: a car dealership and they made a documentary about it.
- 21:55Speaker 2: And the competition was that they would select a group
- 21:59Speaker 2: of people and they put their hands on the truck.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It was a pickup truck, I believe, and the last
- 22:05Speaker 2: person standing with both hands on the truck won the truck.
- 22:10Speaker 2: And so it goes on for days and days and days,
- 22:13Speaker 2: and they made a documentary about it. It's really good.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I highly recommend it. But this must have been around
- 22:17Speaker 2: the time it came out, because we're doing a hands
- 22:19Speaker 2: on a Koma patient joke.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I didn't give two shits about their competition. I'm gonna
- 22:24Speaker 1: keep it one hundred with y'all. Right now, look, man,
- 22:28Speaker 1: these motherfuckers are adults now, and they're playing like Turk
- 22:32Speaker 1: gets all bent out of shape and Cox is all
- 22:35Speaker 1: freaking He's it's almost like he I don't know, man,
- 22:39Speaker 1: Like if you're going to battle somebody battle other people,
- 22:42Speaker 1: these two shouldn't be battling right now. But they don't
- 22:44Speaker 1: have anything to write about. So they're like, let's rite
- 22:46Speaker 1: that these two battle, you know, and.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Also you need a storyline for Turk. That's the conundrum.
- 22:51Speaker 2: You get rid of JD and you get rid of
- 22:52Speaker 2: Carla what you know, they had to figure out a
- 22:55Speaker 2: storyline for you.
- 22:56Speaker 1: They had nothing to write for me.
- 22:58Speaker 2: That's why I said, you didn't ever have a relationship
- 23:01Speaker 2: really with Cox before in one three you know we had.
- 23:03Speaker 1: A competitive relationship, but it.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Wasn't but not you didn't have a lot of Cock storylines.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Right, No, No, because he wasn't my mentor. You know
- 23:10Speaker 1: what I mean, he was your mentor.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You had doctor Wynn.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Yeah, so it doesn't make sense like all of a
- 23:16Speaker 1: sudden they're hanging out. They're kind of but like it's
- 23:19Speaker 1: the Kelso role, Like all of a sudden, Turk has
- 23:22Speaker 1: become somewhat of the Kelso role where they're friends. But no,
- 23:27Speaker 1: you're not kill each other, yeah Kelso.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Now oh you mean the fact that they had ribbed
- 23:32Speaker 2: each other. Yeah, all right, So there's this whole set
- 23:35Speaker 2: piece where they're gonna race. Turk uses a fake grand
- 23:39Speaker 2: someone another doctor to try and distract Cos. Then Cox
- 23:43Speaker 2: unless Todd to grab Turk or Rob only got the door.
- 23:46Speaker 2: How do you bring Rob Mashio to set and only
- 23:49Speaker 2: have him to do that.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Joke rocking a hard Place five?
- 23:52Speaker 2: It was so bad Only it was only one laugh
- 23:55Speaker 2: I had in this whole episode.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I had one laugh too, And I know what your
- 23:58Speaker 1: laugh was are you talking? Is this speaking or Raheem
- 24:04Speaker 1: was speaking? Or DeShawn? That's the only laugh I had.
- 24:12Speaker 1: And I knew you were gonna laugh at that ship too.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I laughed so hard at that ship laugh. I laughed.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I knew that Donna would laugh at that ship. By
- 24:23Speaker 2: the way, I had to rewind it because like, did
- 24:24Speaker 2: I hear that?
- 24:25Speaker 3: Right?
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh god? Yeah? And you let you know, you
- 24:28Speaker 1: try to make me when we have sex role players
- 24:30Speaker 1: black guys. Now, is this Cole speaking or sham? Right
- 24:34Speaker 1: then and there, I was like, but right then in
- 24:36Speaker 1: there you realize, holy ship, she wants sex now, because
- 24:40Speaker 1: if it's DeShawn, she's down the fox. Is this to Shawn?
- 24:45Speaker 2: She said that so straight. She was like, is this
- 24:48Speaker 2: Cole speaking or DeShawn?
- 24:56Speaker 1: I laughed at that ship so hard. Part of me
- 24:58Speaker 1: was like, I shouldn't be laughing at this. That's this
- 25:00Speaker 1: is like a little this is like a little like
- 25:04Speaker 1: not funny. But I laughed still.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I thought it was funny. I mean, yeah, it's totally.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I mean it's funny and like it's funny in a
- 25:12Speaker 1: racist way.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, you tell me, I guess.
- 25:16Speaker 1: The motherfucker's walking around the hospital speaking slang out of
- 25:19Speaker 1: his mind. Everything's yo a b a yo yo co.
- 25:26Speaker 2: She tells him all the ship he can't say, which
- 25:28Speaker 2: are all that, and it's.
- 25:29Speaker 1: All fucking It's all fucking slang coming from the black
- 25:33Speaker 1: community pretty much, and it's like, wait a second, hold up.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Not only is he not allowed to say this, but
- 25:38Speaker 1: when you fantasize about fucking him, he's a black dude named.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Deshaun only sometimes, I think only sometimes, so part of it.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Like, as I'm laughing, I was like, this is the
- 25:49Speaker 1: racist shit I've ever laughed at in my life, one
- 25:51Speaker 1: of the most racist moments.
- 25:52Speaker 4: But Prentice Penny wrote this episode, Donald, Who's that Princess?
- 25:57Speaker 4: Penny later becomes a showrunner for Insecure or Insecure?
- 25:59Speaker 1: That right?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Well he's written by an African American. Donald.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Don't know if that helps you at all.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's a one African American and all white writers.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I'm a feeling the African American person probably wrote that shoke.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because trying to make the writ the white
- 26:16Speaker 1: writers laugh. All y'all know what the fuck I'm talking about? Joe,
- 26:28Speaker 1: You can't even look at me. Yeah, you know exactly what.
- 26:33Speaker 2: We should have. We should have him on the show, Joelle.
- 26:38Speaker 4: We were trying to reach out to his folks.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, but he might want to talk about
- 26:44Speaker 2: his Scrub season nine experience. Okay, so then you guys
- 26:48Speaker 2: race to Turkean Cocks have a race to a building.
- 26:54Speaker 2: They encountered these security guards. He did, and then we
- 26:58Speaker 2: learned that the white security guard says about the black
- 27:02Speaker 2: security guard he did security for er. He and Eric
- 27:06Speaker 2: Lasal go to the same church.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Okay, we got to go back.
- 27:11Speaker 2: What are we gonna go back to?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Well, the whole I'm not sure if this is the
- 27:15Speaker 1: B storyline or the C storyline. The whole storyline is
- 27:18Speaker 1: about this damn cart and half cart. Yeah, it's parked
- 27:23Speaker 1: in front of the emergency entrance and Denise wants to
- 27:26Speaker 1: move it and gets reprimanded by the security guards for
- 27:32Speaker 1: trying to move the cart out of the hat and
- 27:35Speaker 1: run right.
- 27:36Speaker 2: They're very pissed off because that's their whole identity, is
- 27:38Speaker 2: the cart.
- 27:39Speaker 1: And so she's like, bet, if that's your identity, I'm
- 27:43Speaker 1: fucking with your identity. So her and Drew decide to
- 27:48Speaker 1: mess with the security.
- 27:49Speaker 2: They're going to go to war with the security guards
- 27:51Speaker 2: over this golf cart. And they have a zillion keys
- 27:54Speaker 2: made and give them to everyone. So everyone is all
- 27:57Speaker 2: sudden so excited to drive the cart around.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Everyone has access to the cart. And the crazy thing
- 28:03Speaker 1: is is that the security guards can't find the cart.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Like you know, they can't shine the cart.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Not only can they not find it, but they'll have
- 28:11Speaker 1: their backs to it, and that shit zips by.
- 28:14Speaker 7: Now.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I don't know about y'all. I have yet to hear
- 28:17Speaker 1: a golf cart that's quiet.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I've been to Catalina Island. Sounds like golf cart.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Even the Silent Ones.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Right, well, they are not. I mean it as brought
- 28:32Speaker 2: as this show. They're in a different show. So because
- 28:36Speaker 2: you lost to bets to Cox, you Turk has to say,
- 28:39Speaker 2: doctor Cox is hella foxy.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Doctor Coxy is Helafox.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Doctor Coxy is hella Foxy. Cole is always late.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Uh.
- 28:47Speaker 2: He went to sea World and he swam with walruses,
- 28:51Speaker 2: I mean, what the fuck? And then he didn't bring
- 28:54Speaker 2: his slides to study group, so he gets kicked out
- 28:57Speaker 2: of study group.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Everyone everyone, it seems like everyone's mad at coal. At
- 29:04Speaker 1: the end of the study group, situation.
- 29:06Speaker 2: No one likes Coal except nobody likes Coal at all.
- 29:11Speaker 2: He's so inappropriate and Uh. The only person who seems
- 29:14Speaker 2: to like him is Lucy, who you know, throughout the
- 29:17Speaker 2: whole season so far, we think it's just because he's
- 29:20Speaker 2: handsome and she's having you know, just booty call sex
- 29:24Speaker 2: with him. But throughout this I guess if there's any
- 29:27Speaker 2: arc of this episode at all, it's that she realizes
- 29:31Speaker 2: that she actually has feelings for him. We meet Cox
- 29:36Speaker 2: and and Uh and Turk's patient named Art, who slings
- 29:40Speaker 2: peanuts at the ball game. He's got a problem, I think,
- 29:44Speaker 2: with his shoulder. But when they when they do their examination,
- 29:48Speaker 2: they realize he has a tumor, a very big tumor,
- 29:52Speaker 2: but because of his age and his condition, they're not
- 29:55Speaker 2: sure if they should operate on him.
- 29:57Speaker 1: And they push his Turk to operate.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Yes.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Cox pushes Turk to operate because he says, listen, he's
- 30:05Speaker 2: either gonna You're either gonna save him or he's going
- 30:08Speaker 2: to have six months to live, six months to live,
- 30:11Speaker 2: and we should we should try, And so Cox pushes
- 30:14Speaker 2: Turk to do the surgery. Doctor Coxy is so foxy,
- 30:18Speaker 2: you keep being forced to say that.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Around the hospital. Yes, in the trick candle sex situation.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Where yeah, let's good break, and when we come back,
- 30:30Speaker 2: we're going to talk about what is known as the
- 30:33Speaker 2: trick candle sex situation. It'll be right back.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And that's what I'm talking about. Yeah, right. I wasn't
- 30:53Speaker 1: paying attention and looking at the screen, so I thought
- 30:55Speaker 1: it was like a scented candle. And so when I
- 30:57Speaker 1: looked up and it was a number two and it
- 30:59Speaker 1: was a birthday candle.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I was a bit confused because she said something like.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Till the candle goes out, the things last a while. Mano,
- 31:09Speaker 1: the number of candles left, Coke could go Coke got
- 31:12Speaker 1: that porn.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Stone you situation tracked how long the number two candle
- 31:17Speaker 2: would take to burn down?
- 31:19Speaker 1: My man? Yeah, when she said it was when I
- 31:22Speaker 1: looked down and it was a center candle and I
- 31:24Speaker 1: thought it was a center candle. It made me look up, like, what,
- 31:27Speaker 1: nobody can fuck as long as a candle. That's a book.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna need that for the soundboard down.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Nobody can fuck as long as a candle is lit. Nobody, nobody, nobody.
- 31:41Speaker 1: If I PU are you talking about, you're talking about
- 31:43Speaker 1: a honika candle. It was like, you gotta fuck it's
- 31:45Speaker 1: how long I last?
- 31:46Speaker 2: That's how long I last the honka candle? Wait, Donald,
- 31:57Speaker 2: you're saying, no one can last as long as they
- 31:59Speaker 2: scented candle.
- 32:00Speaker 1: That is it possible?
- 32:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:02Speaker 1: You are?
- 32:02Speaker 2: You are well. I don't think anyone would like that
- 32:05Speaker 2: at a certain point. It's it's it's uh, it's.
- 32:08Speaker 1: A lot everything's wrong.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Right, So are you more of a birthday candle, a
- 32:13Speaker 2: honka candle or a what's.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Your candles burned? A little bit slower than hand candle?
- 32:19Speaker 2: You're probably gonna get, you know, a half hour out
- 32:22Speaker 2: of Oh?
- 32:23Speaker 1: I thought you got eight nights out of no? No, no, okay.
- 32:27Speaker 2: No, you light the honic candles each night of hand?
- 32:30Speaker 2: And I would say, Daniel, you're a fellow semite. I
- 32:33Speaker 2: think they last about a half hour, right, I think
- 32:35Speaker 2: half hour sounds about right. Yeah, a birthday that's a
- 32:39Speaker 2: good A birthday candle's birthday candles? Too fast? A regular
- 32:42Speaker 2: one and you're saying this number two one would probably
- 32:46Speaker 2: be a very long time.
- 32:47Speaker 1: That shit goes all the way down. There's like a
- 32:49Speaker 1: little fucking nub at the end to that ship. Would
- 32:52Speaker 1: go and go and go and go.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Right, Well, I think it's I think, but.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't you know, Cole.
- 32:59Speaker 2: And Lucy really enjoy their their sex, so we don't
- 33:02Speaker 2: know if maybe they purposefully take a long time. There
- 33:05Speaker 2: be there might be some edging involved.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Like a little edging. Go on, I'm listening. We just took.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I like a little edging. Go on?
- 33:32Speaker 5: You have?
- 33:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, let's get back to the show, all right,
- 33:46Speaker 2: So what the fuck they raced to Winston Hall. Cole's
- 33:51Speaker 2: not in the mood.
- 33:52Speaker 1: For stack up, Holy ship Gurney.
- 33:55Speaker 2: I was in shape, Yeah, you were in shape.
- 33:57Speaker 3: You look good?
- 33:58Speaker 1: I did. I look at my eye. There's no circles,
- 34:01Speaker 1: there's no bags, none of that shit. Man, I would,
- 34:04Speaker 1: I would. What's the name of a surgeon that can
- 34:07Speaker 1: get me back to that?
- 34:09Speaker 2: Well, it's called you going to the gym.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I don't know. Man, the wrinkles on my face there
- 34:16Speaker 1: weren't that many ten years ago when this show was Well, you.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Can have like you know, you can have a laser
- 34:22Speaker 2: skin peel. You could do lasers and ship Okay, I
- 34:25Speaker 2: mean your skin is wonderful, but you could you could
- 34:27Speaker 2: do stuff. Do you moisturize your face.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I don't.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I think the simplest thing you could do at
- 34:33Speaker 2: our age is just put on moisturizer morning, and I don't.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I haven't used lotion for so long.
- 34:39Speaker 4: Donald, what yeah, is coming from inside the house?
- 34:43Speaker 1: How do you not have any lotion? No, we have lotion.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I just don't use that shit. I don't like the
- 34:48Speaker 1: way it feels on my body. It's something new as
- 34:50Speaker 1: I've gotten older, lotion.
- 34:52Speaker 2: But what about just a face cream just to moisturize.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I don't like the way that shit feels on my face.
- 34:56Speaker 1: It feels heavy.
- 34:57Speaker 4: For some reason, you're using the wrong brands.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But when I was younger, there was this lotion called
- 35:05Speaker 1: Palmer's Right, and it was like it wasn't It was
- 35:07Speaker 1: like a stick of cocoa butter pretty much. And since
- 35:10Speaker 1: then they changed the formula and it's not the same anymore.
- 35:13Speaker 1: That was the closest thing to having some type of
- 35:15Speaker 1: grease on my body where I'd be like, all right,
- 35:17Speaker 1: I'm alright with it because it smells really good, so
- 35:19Speaker 1: I'm going to let this go. But there's very few
- 35:22Speaker 1: lotions that I find that smell good. And then the
- 35:25Speaker 1: unscented ones seem to freaking dry out really quick. So
- 35:28Speaker 1: it's like, what the fuck did I put that on for?
- 35:30Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 35:31Speaker 2: But I have a moisturizer donald that I put on
- 35:33Speaker 2: my face this morning and night. It goes away within
- 35:37Speaker 2: the feeling of anything moist on you goes away within
- 35:40Speaker 2: fifteen seconds.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Right. But so what I was talking about is lotion
- 35:46Speaker 1: on my body and stuff like that.
- 35:47Speaker 2: But you start talking about wrinkles, right, no doubt.
- 35:49Speaker 1: But when we started talking about lotion and stuff I
- 35:52Speaker 1: don't put I don't like to do that shit. When
- 35:54Speaker 1: I do do that, I get Let's talk about face first.
- 35:57Speaker 1: When I do do when I do apply do lotion,
- 36:01Speaker 1: I know I heard it. That's why I change it.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I know. I know when I do apply moisturizer to
- 36:08Speaker 1: my face. When I wake up, I have dark circles
- 36:11Speaker 1: under my eyes. For some reason.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Is going to help you? Look at your wel skin.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Wouldn't you like to have skin like that? Look at that?
- 36:19Speaker 1: Wonderful?
- 36:20Speaker 4: This is time and effort and a lot of skin.
- 36:22Speaker 4: First of all, thank you, this's so well.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I would love to have your skin.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Granted you're younger than us, but man, you don't have
- 36:27Speaker 2: a single wrinkle.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Okay, so much, so much effort. I would wear it like, Okay,
- 36:35Speaker 1: everyone called it.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I would say, for first of all, if you work
- 36:38Speaker 4: for a skincare company and you want to send us products,
- 36:40Speaker 4: so figure absolutely. But also donald also do I use
- 36:45Speaker 4: verst It's really light, it won't clog your pores, it
- 36:47Speaker 4: keeps you like nurse throughout the day. Also, there's definitely
- 36:50Speaker 4: a body lotion for you that's not going to just
- 36:53Speaker 4: I feel. I know Casey's got something for you. I'm
- 36:56Speaker 4: a text Casey.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Yeah, case I mean we went, we went down a
- 36:59Speaker 1: rabbit hole, man, and we went and tried. Like so,
- 37:01Speaker 1: we bought another form of cocoa butter lotion that was
- 37:04Speaker 1: working really well, and they changed. Everybody changes their fucking formula, man,
- 37:08Speaker 1: And that's when it's like, wait a second, just don't
- 37:11Speaker 1: smell the same. This smells different. Like That's what it
- 37:13Speaker 1: really boils down to. Like, if I'm gonna put cake
- 37:16Speaker 1: on me like a shit, turn a lotion on me,
- 37:18Speaker 1: at least let it smell good so I don't feel
- 37:20Speaker 1: like I'm walking around with a freaking body.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I don't really care about your body lotion. I'm trying
- 37:29Speaker 2: to help you because you said you were worried about
- 37:31Speaker 2: your ear skin wrinkles. So there's things you can do
- 37:33Speaker 2: for your eyes and your wrinkles that will at least
- 37:35Speaker 2: help you.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Dude, I was, Look, I've gone through it all. I
- 37:40Speaker 1: remember I was spending thousands of dollars on skincare at
- 37:43Speaker 1: one point, and then I realized, I don't need that
- 37:45Speaker 1: shit right now. You know what I mean, get it
- 37:47Speaker 1: when I need it, you know what I mean. Like
- 37:50Speaker 1: my whole life, I've been told I have great skin.
- 37:52Speaker 1: You do, but now you're fitty, but now I'm fifty,
- 37:55Speaker 1: no doubt. But my whole life I've been told I
- 37:58Speaker 1: have great skin. And with that I have been, you know,
- 38:03Speaker 1: in search for some reason to try to make it better.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I don't know. But like, if it ain't broke, why fix?
- 38:10Speaker 1: I just got you. I just no doubt. I would
- 38:12Speaker 1: like to. Sustainability is a look at Jo's skin.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Look at Joel's skin.
- 38:16Speaker 1: It's amazing. That could be Joelle's twenty two.
- 38:19Speaker 2: That could be you.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I love that. Let's just go with that. Joel twenty two.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Joela is twenty two years old. Joel's twenty two.
- 38:28Speaker 1: The most responsible twenty two year old, I've ever met
- 38:31Speaker 1: my wife. There we go.
- 38:32Speaker 2: We hired Joel when she was seventeen.
- 38:34Speaker 1: When she was seventeen years old. She came up in
- 38:37Speaker 1: here running this thing.
- 38:38Speaker 2: You like to whine about ship, but then you don't
- 38:40Speaker 2: take action.
- 38:41Speaker 1: No, I'm a bitch.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like you can take it. You're like, I'm
- 38:45Speaker 2: pissed that I'm out of shape. All right, Well, then
- 38:47Speaker 2: go work out.
- 38:48Speaker 1: No, I don't want to pissed.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I got wrinkles. Put some fucking face lotion.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I don't want to.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we tried. We tried.
- 38:54Speaker 1: No, So Lucy lies to Cole. Lucy lies to Cole
- 38:58Speaker 1: and tells him that he's not invited back that she asked.
- 39:01Speaker 3: She tried.
- 39:03Speaker 1: She I tried, I asked Drew, and Drew said you
- 39:05Speaker 1: know what. Nah. Well Cole goes to Drew and says, yo,
- 39:09Speaker 1: why don't you let me back in the group, And
- 39:12Speaker 1: Drew said I didn't. She never asked me, dude. And
- 39:15Speaker 1: so now Cole's back in the group because Lucy never communicated.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Now, imagine to be dedicating this much screen time to
- 39:22Speaker 2: that storyline whether or not Cole is allowed back in
- 39:26Speaker 2: the study group.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Well, this is the this was the way.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Did you see Colonel Doctor partying in the golf cart? Man?
- 39:32Speaker 2: He was so excited to be in that golf cart. Yeah, Like,
- 39:36Speaker 2: why are these There's like this moment where these old
- 39:38Speaker 2: doctors are like it's like they're on ecstasy or something,
- 39:42Speaker 2: but they're so happy to be in the golf cart. Yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 2: why do they love the golf cart so much?
- 39:47Speaker 1: I understand, don't don't owe people love golf carts.
- 39:51Speaker 2: I don't know. Do well google that?
- 39:53Speaker 5: Man?
- 39:53Speaker 1: If I was an old man and I could have
- 39:56Speaker 1: drive around in a golf cart everywhere I go.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, you might be like, oh, it's nice
- 40:01Speaker 2: to have a golf cart, but these dudes are like raging.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Have you ever written in a golf cart before?
- 40:05Speaker 2: I love driving a golf cart exactly, But I just
- 40:08Speaker 2: have a smile on my face.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I'm not like, yeah, you don't got your hands up
- 40:13Speaker 1: in the air like you're on a roller coaster.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I love a golf cart.
- 40:16Speaker 6: You know.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Whenever I'm on the back lot and I'm allowed to
- 40:18Speaker 2: drive a golf cart, I feel so special.
- 40:20Speaker 1: It's the best feeling ever.
- 40:23Speaker 2: It's fun to drive a golf card, especially around a
- 40:25Speaker 2: back lot.
- 40:26Speaker 1: It's fun to drive a golf cart on a golf course.
- 40:29Speaker 1: How about that?
- 40:29Speaker 2: I'll bet that's true. But then you don't get your exercise, right,
- 40:32Speaker 2: this isn't the whole.
- 40:33Speaker 1: If you need to get your steps, well, that's the thing. Man.
- 40:36Speaker 1: The older you get, the more you're like, I don't
- 40:38Speaker 1: necessarily want the cart anymore because now you're trying to Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: you want to turn it all the time and shit
- 40:45Speaker 1: like that.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Right, you have no interesting in the golf, do you?
- 40:49Speaker 1: Right now?
- 40:49Speaker 4: No?
- 40:50Speaker 1: I have no interest in getting back in the golf.
- 40:52Speaker 2: You went so into it, you got so.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Hard ten years ten years deep. I got the lowest
- 40:58Speaker 1: I ever shot was two under.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Why don't you bring your family to that what's that
- 41:02Speaker 2: place called where there's like food and it's a driving
- 41:05Speaker 2: range and top golf? You know, why don't you bring
- 41:07Speaker 2: your family to top golf?
- 41:09Speaker 1: It's fun when you got a bunch of kids and
- 41:10Speaker 1: you take them to top golf and they've never played
- 41:12Speaker 1: golf before. That's a lot of fun. Yeah, taking my
- 41:15Speaker 1: kids to top golf, like Rocco and Wilder to Top Golf. Yeah,
- 41:22Speaker 1: they're not going to have as much fun as I'm
- 41:24Speaker 1: going to have there because there's so many things for
- 41:27Speaker 1: adults at Top Golf. It's for adults.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Oh, it's more of like an adult place.
- 41:31Speaker 1: But if you can get a party gone with a
- 41:33Speaker 1: bunch of kids, listen, it becomes like it can be
- 41:36Speaker 1: a kid.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I drove by the one in Vegas when I was huge,
- 41:39Speaker 2: when we were at F one. Remember we were with
- 41:41Speaker 2: me and gosh, that looks I mean, I have no interest,
- 41:44Speaker 2: but it looks so fun.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because you freaking eat chicken wings, you freaking
- 41:49Speaker 1: hit golf.
- 41:50Speaker 2: It's like a bowling alley but like four stories. Yeah,
- 41:53Speaker 2: and they had screens playing like sports.
- 42:00Speaker 1: We took my kids.
- 42:01Speaker 2: We took at something and gone, that looks like so
- 42:04Speaker 2: much fun for people that are into that. Yes, like
- 42:08Speaker 2: that's how I felt. I was like, I don't want
- 42:10Speaker 2: to go. But if I was into that, that looks amazing.
- 42:15Speaker 1: You take that back once you go. We took my
- 42:18Speaker 1: son's basketball team, the guard Dogs, the Inglewood guard Dogs.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Shout out Inglewood guard Dogs.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Shout out to the Englewood guard Dogs. Everybody.
- 42:24Speaker 1: We took them to the Top Golf in Vegas. They
- 42:26Speaker 1: had a tournament in Vegas and we took them. All
- 42:29Speaker 1: the parents and these kids had so much fun, and
- 42:33Speaker 1: none of them had ever played golf before. Only my
- 42:35Speaker 1: kids had played golf, really, and then one other kid
- 42:37Speaker 1: had played golf, but all the other kids had never
- 42:39Speaker 1: played golf before and had so much fun trying to play.
- 42:42Speaker 1: It's like playing skee ball with a stick and a ball.
- 42:45Speaker 2: It's so many things I don't want to do, watch sports,
- 42:48Speaker 2: play golf, and excessively drink. But if I loved all
- 42:52Speaker 2: of them, it seems like heaven to me.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Yeah, top, Well that's what that was my introduction into golf,
- 42:59Speaker 1: not golf. But you go play golf, you drink heavily,
- 43:03Speaker 1: and then you bet a bunch of money and at
- 43:06Speaker 1: the end of the day, hopefully you still have cash,
- 43:08Speaker 1: you know what I mean, bring your money because we're
- 43:11Speaker 1: playing golf.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Sounds like a great time.
- 43:13Speaker 1: It was a great time. And then if you're into
- 43:15Speaker 1: that ship, I'm over it now.
- 43:16Speaker 2: All right, Well we should take a break. We're gonna
- 43:17Speaker 2: take another break and we come back. We're gonna talk
- 43:19Speaker 2: about this really preposterously horrible episode. We'll be right back.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Wow, you honor me, all right.
- 43:34Speaker 2: So to Turk loses Art in the surgery, and he's
- 43:37Speaker 2: very pissed off about it understandably, but you know he can't.
- 43:41Speaker 2: You can't save everyone. And he tried, and he tried,
- 43:44Speaker 2: and he's mad at Cox.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and then he and then he realizes he's not
- 43:51Speaker 1: He realizes Cox was looking I don't see. I don't
- 43:54Speaker 1: get this. At the end, I realized you were looking
- 43:56Speaker 1: out for me and you had my back, et cetera,
- 43:58Speaker 1: et cetera. And it was like, wait a second, he
- 44:01Speaker 1: forced you into this. He didn't have your fucking back.
- 44:03Speaker 1: He was being selfish, trying to make this guy live law.
- 44:06Speaker 1: He was trying to be a superhero. He wanted the
- 44:08Speaker 1: fact that he wanted to save this guy another year
- 44:12Speaker 1: or three to four years. He wasn't looking at it.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Well, he did, no. I think he did.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Believe.
- 44:16Speaker 2: You have to believe that Cox is always because he's,
- 44:21Speaker 2: you know, such a noble person, that he's always trying
- 44:23Speaker 2: to do the right thing. He went the more aggressive
- 44:26Speaker 2: route and and and sometimes that's not going to pay off,
- 44:29Speaker 2: but he he he wanted the best for Art and
- 44:32Speaker 2: this time he bet wrong.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I'm sure a lot of doctors deal with they battle
- 44:38Speaker 2: like I got to this one's a gamble, but I
- 44:40Speaker 2: got to go for it. And I'm sure that's something
- 44:42Speaker 2: that a lot of doctors have to wrestle with, right.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I just think Turk, when confronted with this at the end,
- 44:57Speaker 1: it wasn't the fact that Cox believed in him and
- 45:02Speaker 1: that was why he pushed him into the surgery. It
- 45:06Speaker 1: was because Cox was trying to gamble on this man.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Like you just said, he took a gamble. He was
- 45:12Speaker 1: trying to save this man's life for the reason of
- 45:18Speaker 1: he liked the guy, and not necessarily because he believed
- 45:21Speaker 1: Turk could do it. You go in there and you
- 45:23Speaker 1: save him, because you can do it. Turk's like, this
- 45:26Speaker 1: motherfucker is gonna die, right, You go in there and
- 45:29Speaker 1: you save him.
- 45:30Speaker 2: All you're saying so so so Cox is love of
- 45:33Speaker 2: the man may have pushed him to the wrong decision.
- 45:35Speaker 2: I understand, yes, And I.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Don't think it's the wrong decision. It might have been
- 45:39Speaker 1: the right decision. I'm just saying.
- 45:40Speaker 2: The guards apologize to the cart. They've been convinced that
- 45:43Speaker 2: the cart has its own soul and that the cart
- 45:48Speaker 2: is mad at them and has left them.
- 45:52Speaker 1: At one point, storyline, Cox.
- 45:54Speaker 2: I don't know. At one point, they're lying on the
- 45:56Speaker 2: ground looking up at the clouds, thinking about all the
- 45:58Speaker 2: different food items that the clouds look like.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Like, where did the storyline up the cart them missing
- 46:05Speaker 1: the cart?
- 46:06Speaker 2: Someone convinced them that the cart was mad at them
- 46:09Speaker 2: because they kick it and they don't treat it well.
- 46:11Speaker 4: Yeah, Denise was like basically abusing the cart, and so.
- 46:15Speaker 1: She left on her own.
- 46:17Speaker 4: Yeah, the cart apologize, it'll roll.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Back right, And then Drew rolls the cart in so
- 46:24Speaker 2: that it just magically appears, and the guys are convinced.
- 46:26Speaker 2: And now and then when that later when we see them,
- 46:28Speaker 2: they're like buffing it and they're like really taking care
- 46:31Speaker 2: of the car. It's so bad. It's like a It's
- 46:33Speaker 2: like a Nickelodeon uh line storyline.
- 46:38Speaker 4: They're not far off.
- 46:39Speaker 1: This is something like I feel like Zach would go through.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Yeah, this is like a Zack and Cody storyline. Now
- 46:46Speaker 2: we gotta take care of the cart.
- 46:49Speaker 1: This is a Sweet Life of Zack and Cody storyline. Yeah.
- 46:52Speaker 2: I feel like this is something Phil lewis so would
- 46:53Speaker 2: be doing on Sweet Life of Zack and Cody. I
- 46:58Speaker 2: feel like this is a storyline that would like this, you.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Haven't gone that's what the that's what they said to
- 47:05Speaker 1: the car.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yeah, at the end of Zach and Cody, the car
- 47:09Speaker 2: rolls back and they're like, you haven't gone, and now.
- 47:13Speaker 1: They makes the line reading even worse. But if he
- 47:15Speaker 1: said it like.
- 47:16Speaker 2: That, all right, then then Lucy decides she likes Cale,
- 47:22Speaker 2: and Turks calls her a crazy white girl, and uh,
- 47:27Speaker 2: you get the summation of the episode. This hospital is
- 47:29Speaker 2: so brutal that if you can actually find someone to
- 47:32Speaker 2: help you get through it, then you're lucky. Everyone needs
- 47:35Speaker 2: someone to watch their back. And then then then then.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Where I'm just trying to in the story? Where was
- 47:46Speaker 1: that in the story watch My Back? Where was watch
- 47:48Speaker 1: My back? And the whole story up to that point?
- 47:50Speaker 2: I know, I guess it's that Drew and at Denise's
- 47:55Speaker 2: back because she was yelled at by the security guard.
- 47:58Speaker 2: So they were going to get even with Theecurity.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Guards and that's reaching. Bro.
- 48:03Speaker 2: I don't know what. How did Lucy or Cole have
- 48:05Speaker 2: each other's back there? I have no idea.
- 48:08Speaker 4: Lucy confesses that she loves him in front of a
- 48:10Speaker 4: big audio.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she does a big announcement that she loves.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Him, So that means she's got his back.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Right, I guess, Yeah, and then you have to say
- 48:20Speaker 2: to Cox, excuse me. No, Cox has to say to
- 48:24Speaker 2: two D doctor Turk.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Secutie because I am baby.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Yeah. And then Lucy decides she's gonna change.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Coal, and he no longer can say he's.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Not allowed to say all these things.
- 48:36Speaker 1: He says, what a duned couple the Scrubs.
- 48:39Speaker 2: And WICKI noted that there's no songs in the episode
- 48:41Speaker 2: outside of score, and there's no fantasies in the episode.
- 48:45Speaker 2: And then, as I said, it's the lowest in the
- 48:47Speaker 2: clip show, it's the lowest rated of all Scrubs episodes.
- 48:51Speaker 2: B Bum, bum bum.
- 48:55Speaker 1: That doesn't make me feel good, guys, I'm gonna keep
- 48:57Speaker 1: it one hundred.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Well, it's why winding to a close, Donald what I
- 49:00Speaker 2: know about usually.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Which shows, even if they're bad, Even when shows are bad,
- 49:05Speaker 1: as the season progresses, the show gets better and things
- 49:08Speaker 1: start to happen, you know, But usually that's what happens
- 49:13Speaker 1: from the beginning to the end. The writers have gained
- 49:17Speaker 1: some experience, the actors have gained some experience, and things
- 49:20Speaker 1: start to change a little bit. That doesn't necessarily mean
- 49:22Speaker 1: the show gets better, but I mean it's a better show.
- 49:25Speaker 1: But the groove and the and the and the and
- 49:30Speaker 1: I don't know, but usually it seems to escalate. This
- 49:35Speaker 1: doesn't escalate, this doesn't get There are no stakes for
- 49:38Speaker 1: these kids right now, like there's nothing going on for
- 49:41Speaker 1: these I don't know, man.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Well, goodness, it all works out for them. They they
- 49:46Speaker 2: all end up having wonderful careers. All right, Joelle, do
- 49:49Speaker 2: you have any callers for us?
- 49:51Speaker 4: We have a call area if we go to break
- 49:52Speaker 4: and come back.
- 49:53Speaker 2: We're gonna go to break and when you're gonna hear
- 49:55Speaker 2: one of Joelle's reviews of that she collects off the
- 49:59Speaker 2: interweaps will be right back.
- 50:08Speaker 6: Zach and Donald are gay, newlyweds in house arrest, and we're.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Take it away.
- 50:19Speaker 5: Hey, my name is Raffio Davona. Now to talk about
- 50:24Speaker 5: episode nine zero eight our couples. Recently rewatching this episode
- 50:29Speaker 5: in preparation for this, I was reminded of just how
- 50:32Speaker 5: funny Season nine can be when it's firing on all cylinders.
- 50:36Speaker 5: After a few episodes of the characters finding their footing,
- 50:39Speaker 5: we're trying to really get that classic Scrubs feeling back.
- 50:41Speaker 5: So starting with Denise and Drew, right, they're messing with
- 50:44Speaker 5: the security guards and their golf card, and they're really
- 50:46Speaker 5: bonding as a couple right in their mutual love of
- 50:50Speaker 5: messing with others. So you see them become more well
- 50:53Speaker 5: rounded characters. You see some great laugh out a loud
- 50:56Speaker 5: moments with the two security guards. I mean, I'm sure
- 50:59Speaker 5: not the only one who thought that they had a
- 51:02Speaker 5: little bit of a guy love going on between those two, right,
- 51:04Speaker 5: Like there's a little bit of Turk and JD in them.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Next year, we had that relationship between doctor Cox and
- 51:10Speaker 5: Turk where even though they are seasoned vets at this
- 51:13Speaker 5: point in their career, there's always that doubt in the
- 51:16Speaker 5: back of your mind about hey, am I doing the
- 51:18Speaker 5: right thing? And they realize how much they need each
- 51:21Speaker 5: other and need to have each other's back and belief
- 51:24Speaker 5: in each other, right, And that's something to be said
- 51:28Speaker 5: about that that even after all these years, these two
- 51:30Speaker 5: are still learning, they're still growing in their relationships. And
- 51:33Speaker 5: I was I just want to take a second to
- 51:35Speaker 5: just shout out how much ups Donald had when he
- 51:39Speaker 5: jumped over that gurney, Like, holy shit, had some air
- 51:42Speaker 5: all right. Last main storyline in this Cole and Lucy
- 51:47Speaker 5: and Cole has been a tremendous douche up to this
- 51:51Speaker 5: point in the season, but you really see someone who
- 51:54Speaker 5: was redeemable starting to poke through there.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 51:56Speaker 5: Not only that, Cole had also one of the funniest
- 51:59Speaker 5: lines and in the season when he yelled at Lucy
- 52:02Speaker 5: when she got in front of his golf cart and
- 52:04Speaker 5: he yelled at her that's how Gardners die the way
- 52:08Speaker 5: he said that he has seen some things. Man, he
- 52:11Speaker 5: has seen that. But also I just want to just
- 52:13Speaker 5: shout out Dave Franco as well, because he made that
- 52:17Speaker 5: character being you know, almost irredeemable in the first half
- 52:20Speaker 5: of the season to someone you kind of root for
- 52:22Speaker 5: here and not all actors could flip that switch, and
- 52:25Speaker 5: Franco does it like seamlessly, right. So Yeah, this episode
- 52:30Speaker 5: was fantastic, hilarious, full of heart, and I'd put it
- 52:33Speaker 5: up in the higher tier Scrubs episodes easily. Another thing
- 52:38Speaker 5: I just want to say too, for people that are
- 52:39Speaker 5: hating on season nine, remember Scrubs proper Scrubs had eight
- 52:44Speaker 5: seasons to get to where it was. Those characters that
- 52:46Speaker 5: eight seasons to evolve, you know, here, to get them
- 52:51Speaker 5: to learn to know these characters and you know you're
- 52:55Speaker 5: not going to be fully formed in this thirteen episodes.
- 52:58Speaker 5: I think of the show to win on more, I
- 53:00Speaker 5: think would have got a better following and it would
- 53:02Speaker 5: not have been looked down upon as much it is
- 53:04Speaker 5: is now. But with that being said, thanks for taking
- 53:07Speaker 5: the time to listen to me. I hope you'll have
- 53:08Speaker 5: a great one.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 53:10Speaker 1: I totally agree with him.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Now you don't.
- 53:13Speaker 1: I disagree Raphael.
- 53:15Speaker 2: You know, this reminded me Joelle of you know, in
- 53:17Speaker 2: a courtroom, how Donald and I were like the prosecutors,
- 53:21Speaker 2: and then Raphael served as the defense attorney, and so
- 53:26Speaker 2: as prosecutors. We don't agree with Raphael, but it was
- 53:29Speaker 2: nice to hear him articulate the defense's position.
- 53:33Speaker 1: I agree, I can. The one thing that I do
- 53:35Speaker 1: agree with him on is that Dave Franco is funny, phenomenal.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Yeah he is.
- 53:39Speaker 1: I do agree with him with that. I think Dave
- 53:42Speaker 1: Franco is one of he's when we were doing this show,
- 53:44Speaker 1: he was one of my favorite people to be around
- 53:46Speaker 1: when we were making this.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's also just the sweetest dude in the world. Well,
- 53:51Speaker 2: that's our show, everybody. Thank you for tuning in, Thank
- 53:53Speaker 2: you for spending your time. With us. We appreciate it.

- 54:01Speaker 2: health ones, there's gossip ones, and yet you chose to
- 54:05Speaker 2: spend your time with us, and we really appreciate you.

- 54:11Speaker 2: Yes, thank you.
- 54:12Speaker 1: We didn't even mention the road and back again.
- 54:16Speaker 2: We didn't even mention The very first line of the
- 54:18Speaker 2: episode is that Cole's computer doesn't work because he's downloading
- 54:21Speaker 2: every episode of Golden Girls.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, your heart is true. You're apel and a confidant.
- 54:32Speaker 1: And if we throw a party and inbodied everyone we knew.
- 54:40Speaker 2: This is how we feel about you.
- 54:41Speaker 8: Audience, you would see the biggest gift would be from me,
- 54:46Speaker 8: and the car attached would say thank you for being
- 54:51Speaker 8: a friend.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Ba ba ba ba.
