- 0:08Ah, person nurses, all things and what they used to be. Where
- 0:19you all the blue sky's but boys and store blues from the north from some
- 0:27things, well, persons, all things and what they used to know.
- 0:45But hey, hey, y'all, hey, y'all, hey, y'all,
- 0:46come on in, Come on in, come on in. I want to
- 0:49thank you guys for joining me on this Monday. It is another Monday afternoon
- 0:55and I am here with We have Jane to gate again, y'all. I
- 1:00told you as many times as I can allow him to come on and share
- 1:06what's going on inside of TDCJ. I definitely want to bring him on and
- 1:12allow him that opportunity to share. It's been brought to my attention. Y'all
- 1:17know it is getting hot out there, and y'all know that these prisons are
- 1:21nothing but a lot of them are nothing but like warehouses. And y'all know
- 1:25how warehouses are very hot in the summertime and very cold in the winter time.
- 1:30But that's what they're dealing with. And right now we're having individuals that
- 1:36are going to the hospital falling out whatever because they do not have proper air
- 1:42conditioning and proper things to keep them cool. They don't have. The major
- 1:49complaint that I get is they have the ones that do have fans. They
- 1:53said it does no good because it's just circulating the hot air and it just
- 1:57keep passing the hot air. I was told, and I've read several documents
- 2:04saying that they're supposed to be a place that is available twenty four hours a
- 2:12day, seven days a week, all at all times doing this hot weather.
- 2:15That is supposed to be a cool like a cooling station or something that
- 2:20they supposed to have set up in these places. Well, I have been
- 2:23told that they are not available in a lot of the prison systems, and
- 2:28then the ones that are available, they are not letting them go to it.
- 2:31So we have someone that is firsthand in the midst of what's going on.
- 2:38So you don't hear that he says, she says stuff you hear firsthand
- 2:43from someone that is right there inside of one of these facilities and can tell
- 2:49you from their first hand knowledge of what's going on and what they deal with
- 2:53on a day to day basis. Now we may talk about everything, so
- 2:57this may go an hour. Little high ever, loan we can stay on
- 3:00here and get this stuff out. The more we do this the more people
- 3:05become aware of what's going on behind these prison walls. And not only that,
- 3:09if you hear this, if you come across this, even if you
- 3:13come on the live, if you're hearing it as a replay, please share
- 3:16this out to someone in your circle of influence, because you never know what
- 3:21the next person may be need in need of. That person may have someone
- 3:23that is incarcerated and needed to hear this, or they may be in a
- 3:28position where they can share this with somebody that can help. So y'all share
- 3:32this out and make awareness of what's going on. So, mister Legate,
- 3:38if you would please introduce yourself to those that may not know who you are.
- 3:45I know you've been on several times. I call you my resident podcast
- 3:50or because anytime I open the door, you're always willing to come on and
- 3:53share. The floor is yours at this time? Okay, all right,
- 4:00athel I thank you for having me back, and thank you audience time.
- 4:03My name is James Legated and I'm currently housed at from a common unit in
- 4:08Vivio, Texas. At the moment, the unit was placed on a on
- 4:14a lockdown. In other words, we went on lockdown. Maybe the twentieth
- 4:16and h some saying this pradics. I'm saying it's a semi annual lockdown.
- 4:23But was surprising to me is during the time the heat. Actually we've never
- 4:28gotten down at this time. So right now you have so many incidents that
- 4:32are happening. Just five days after we on lockdown. On the twenty fifth
- 4:35you had a silly Stappy Shelley and kilt him or the due to the heat
- 4:41agitation or was it between whatever the senaria is it. I mean, the
- 4:46problem we're sure of staff as it is, I think right now if you
- 4:50look at it, we're like at thirty percent, so you're talking about maybe
- 4:55eighty to ninety offenders per officer, and that is uncalled for. They can't
- 5:00even deal with their own operational and safety procedures. It's crazy because on May
- 5:06eighth, TDTG re bin it its administrative director of ten sixty four, which
- 5:12is a publicies that concerned extensive extreme temperature conditions in GDCJ that goes into effect
- 5:18every year between April fifty to October thirtieth and stakes, among other things,
- 5:24every reasonable effort shall be made to prevent injuries related to accessive or extreme temperatures
- 5:30in TDTJ. For this reason, the administration has a duty to work closely
- 5:34with the healthcare staff to immediately at in the playoff enders of risk from accessive
- 5:40and extreme temperatures. The policy further indicate that inmates may be permitted to request
- 5:46access to so called reach type areas, which is are air conditioned areas that
- 5:51inmates can access to cool down and is available to every custody level from seven
- 5:58days to week twenty four hours a day. They're also supposed to get cold
- 6:00water like cold showers, have access to all this, however, shuts this
- 6:05lockdown. The buildings three doll be four buildings, seven building, eight buildings.
- 6:12They have not been able to have respite. Every time they have for
- 6:16a rest, they're told nobody can't give it to you more short of staff.
- 6:20Well, this is not what the policy states. The policy clearly shows
- 6:25that they have a right for rest, but which if they're having some kind
- 6:29of heat type of incident and they're feeling bad or they're really like falling out,
- 6:33they're supposed to contact the supervisors and give them this information so that they
- 6:39can take the press proper measurements to take take them into a wrist By area.
- 6:44Because of the shortage of staff, they cannot even go and do security
- 6:48rounds. They can't go and check on the offenders how they're doing. Because
- 6:53they're not doing that. They're not even the cold water. They're bare to
- 6:57even giving them showers like they're supposed to do on the lockdown situation. They're
- 7:01supposed to give them showers, but because they're so short in other words,
- 7:04short, I'm saying that each building only has two officers. There's three tickets,
- 7:11three pep ponds in each in each building, so there's no ticket boss,
- 7:15there's no floor boss. There's only a death box and another boss that's
- 7:18with a make normany a sergeant. But what's happening is they're using inmates to
- 7:23do their job. In other words, they're giving their inmates to pass on
- 7:27john East, which are snack punches. They're they're using them to uh to
- 7:31uh do everything. Basically, they'll go do one count and normally, and
- 7:34I've seen this ferhand, they'll send an inmate to go do a second count.
- 7:39In other words, instead of them doing their job what they're getting paid
- 7:42for, they're having inmates do their job for them. They're just crazy I've
- 7:46never seen anything like this. I've been going on twenty six years, and
- 7:49the system it's had enough that I'm here for something tonight and do. But
- 7:53that's this is this is ridiculous. Like I said, I've never seen this.
- 7:57There's a new culture, a new a new way. But in a
- 8:01way, what can that what happens when you complain, when you go to
- 8:05the war and when you reach out and you complain to different people about what's
- 8:11going on, Because like you say, this is not your first rodeo,
- 8:15you've been there for over twenty six years. Well, you've been there for
- 8:20twenty six years, so you you've had an opportunity to see how things operate.
- 8:26How long have you been in this particular facility? Well, I guess
- 8:33is the first time I've been in one just like here. No, no,
- 8:35how well, no, no, I'm asking how how long have you
- 8:39been in this particular facility or have you been in the same facility since?
- 8:43Have you done all twenty six of your years in the same facility? Oh
- 8:48no, No, I've been on this unit going on twelve years. I've
- 8:52been on this year twelve years. And uh, out the twelve years you've
- 8:56had shortened and step, but not just that as is now rich areas.
- 9:00They have signs all over the unit. You know, access to rids by
- 9:03go to the law Lianbrary, go to the medical, go to the school,
- 9:07go to the regular library. You can be placing segregation. Any place
- 9:11that had air conditioning, you're supposed to go and there is no no uh
- 9:16no time frame. Another words is if I'm feeling real bad right now,
- 9:20I should be able to go to medical or any one of those fistfight areas
- 9:24and I'll say if I want what you see. But they're not doing this.
- 9:26They're not allowing offenders from the buildings situ in you that I got firsthand
- 9:33word from a guy that we spoke with because we went to medical and he
- 9:35was there and he said, hey, you know I keep on no lead
- 9:39me out for risk, and then he go take my shower. You're not
- 9:41giving the showers, you're not doing nothing. So when they passed out,
- 9:43Johnny said, one particular sergeant opened the door. Well, he came out
- 9:48and he said, look, I want to take my shower. So she
- 9:50left him out. You know. So then by by three days later he
- 9:54wounded up getting the case because he said he was out of place, and
- 9:58all he said, all try getting nothing. They getting known. So another
- 10:03person also got sued to the hospital because of he related u uh illness and
- 10:11uh. I mean it's getting it's getting crazy. It's like if they ain't
- 10:13have no concerns for their own policy. I've read numerous and numerous cases where
- 10:20people have filed because they're not giving them risks. But even though you know,
- 10:26at this point, at this point, at this point, I feel
- 10:31like they are violating y'all rights. I feel like this is exactly it's inhumane.
- 10:37It is. It is over whatever it's supposed to. I mean,
- 10:41because they're they're supposed to. I mean literally, they have had years two
- 10:48to make wrong these to make right these wrongs that they've done for years.
- 10:52They have known that they've had these shortage of staff issues, they've had these
- 11:00no air conditioning issues. Because this is not something new, So it's not
- 11:03like we introducing something new. This is something that has been going on for
- 11:07you could probably say a decade, because this has been going on for at
- 11:11least ten years. Because I can look back and see reports and and different
- 11:18articles and newspapers and on the website about people dying in TDCJ because of the
- 11:26heat, people passing out, and and and just all kinds of stuff because
- 11:30of the heat and because of shortness of staff. So it's not like this
- 11:33is something new. You know, individuals already have lawsuits out because of the
- 11:39conditions of the facilities and how they have done for a while. So well,
- 11:46why don't all of you guys just come together and and and tile action
- 11:52a class action lawsuit against TDCJ for not providing y'all with with air conditioning,
- 11:58And y'all can provide these things. Y'all can provide how many people have had
- 12:03to go to the hospital, how many people have and get the ones that
- 12:07have had to go to the hospital, get them involved, Get those that
- 12:13have have been denied restless that's been denied access to these things, to get
- 12:18them involved. Because if y'all continue to not say nothing, I know they
- 12:20may retaliate. That's why we are documenting all this stuff. That's why we're
- 12:26doing these lives. That's why we're doing this stuff so people can hear this
- 12:30so when when when they start retaliate, we can go back and say,
- 12:33well, hey, this is what we did on this day. On six
- 12:37on June third, at two twelve, we did a live, we recorded
- 12:41this, We talked about this on the live, and we talked about what
- 12:45we was gonna do, and nothing was going on prior to that. And
- 12:48after we talked about what we was gonna do and what we did, then
- 12:50this is what happened. Now we got to start, we got to start
- 12:54beating these people at their own game, because this is what they do.
- 12:56They put out these these things and place, but then they want to throw
- 13:01it back at us and say, oh, we're not going by the law,
- 13:05we're not going by the policy, we're not going by this, we're
- 13:07not going by this. It's not falling under that. Well, y'all change
- 13:11it, and then y'all not about and by it. And then when we
- 13:13say something about it, then we are the ones that are causing the problems.
- 13:16And that's a problem with me right right, And you know, believe
- 13:24it or not, numerous numerous defense have all complaints about it. And when
- 13:28they follow us, the only thing they do is they move from their conditioned
- 13:33area. So they're saying, well, look, we've already moved in.
- 13:35We solved the problem. The case is posed, what the fact of the
- 13:37matter. Okay, well, what about everybody else? But what about everybody
- 13:41else? You you can't when everybody else? What about everybody else? Everybody
- 13:48else that complain? You can't move everybody because if you move everybody else,
- 13:52somebody else gonna have to come back to right where you move that person from.
- 13:56Everybody can't go to these areas because if everybody could be in these areas,
- 14:01then won't you think that that's what these people should be. And and
- 14:05my thing is, if you can provide air conditioning over in those areas,
- 14:07then why you can't provide air conditioning in the whole building? What? What?
- 14:11What? What? What? What is causing y'all to not provide air
- 14:16condition in the whole building? Now, See when I when I thought that
- 14:18y'all didn't have a conditioning period, I didn't think that y'all had a conditioning
- 14:24period. That means nobody had a conditioning. Now that is in humane for
- 14:31certain parts of the building to have air conditioning the rest of it don't,
- 14:35because that to me is just crazy because if you can put a conditioning on
- 14:39one side, a conditioning can be on the other side. That that that
- 14:43that makes no sense. So why are y'all doing that? Well? You
- 14:50know, they had a bigger controversy because they found that gd G were housing
- 14:56a bunch of pigs and giving period air conditioning. But they don't give this
- 15:00right now, that's just cure. And it's actually followed another lawsuit and trying
- 15:05to get the whole system line air conditions. They've been trying to do this.
- 15:11In fact, I read it and the San Antonio Express us on I
- 15:16think it was the twenty four of eight for I believe it was May or
- 15:20April. I have the article there somewhere, and but they're trying to get
- 15:24it air conditioned again. And you see it's like if it's not here,
- 15:28if you look at it, if you cultures, there's a lot of these
- 15:31guys kids or that they don't know anything about filing griefs. It is going
- 15:37with the flow and just falling out or fighting and doing what they got to
- 15:39do just to survive. I mean, if they don't know, if they
- 15:43don't know, then y'all need to start teaching them as people that have been
- 15:48there. I mean, y'all need to start breaking it down to them and
- 15:50letting them know, hey, this is what's gonna happen if you don't I
- 15:54mean if you don't want, if you don't want to better the environment or
- 16:00one day go home, then then that's on you. But everybody needs to
- 16:06be trying to come together and trying to That's why you know, I don't
- 16:10get it. Yeah, you know, I mean and here, you're right,
- 16:15I mean, you know, we used to be able to do the
- 16:17fewer the US used to have a bunch of grievances. How are you gonna
- 16:21do it? But a lot of them are afraid of retaliation. They don't
- 16:26want to deal with this. They say no because I don't want to get
- 16:29moved or I don't want it to happen. And you know, I don't
- 16:33need them to move me here or move me there. And and right now,
- 16:36like I said, I'm in the dorms right and even even in the
- 16:38dorms, you know, we're more open. I have access to a cold
- 16:42shower, and I have two fans. But like you said earlier, these
- 16:47two fans, all they do is circulate hot here. That's all it does,
- 16:49because there's no circulation in here. So of course we have to free
- 16:53are less because we get to get up and go take a shower. But
- 16:57my concern is the building. You just don't have the same access, especially
- 17:02during lockdown. And during lockdown you have them stuck in the cell. And
- 17:07and it's a small cell. When you if you take out the box,
- 17:10you take out the table, you pick out the the restroom seat, uh
- 17:15unit, you take those down, it becomes a bigger corner. But when
- 17:18you add all that to there, it's really a small living space. See
- 17:22I'm saying, you either gott to fan your bux or you and you takesack
- 17:26a force or sit on the table. So eventually you and your silling,
- 17:30you're gonna get into it. It's gonna it's causing a hostile environment. And
- 17:34now inmates what they're doing, and when they pass out these Johnny snacks,
- 17:38they're normally just throwing under the door, like if the person's an animal,
- 17:42they say, hey, look we can't get the door open. You want
- 17:45you Johnny or now you're they're gonna throw it under the door. I'm not
- 17:48gonna give it to you. So what choice do they have. So whenever
- 17:52they do come up, of course it's gonna be an altercation between the guy
- 17:56and the cell and the guy that was attacking, not the Johnny. Eventually
- 17:59something's gonna happen. She ain't. It's not supposed to be like this.
- 18:02So when you try to bring a bunch of these yulptures and you're trying to
- 18:06show them you know what they need to do, someone are very reluctant.
- 18:10You know what I'm saying. To listen, And it's not like way back
- 18:14in the day they called her giving another one giving them some school. Uh.
- 18:18Now you're trying to school somebody and it's like a new way. It's
- 18:21a whole different, different category of offenders, you know what I'm saying.
- 18:26And I'm not change that they don't want change because a lot of them talk
- 18:30about change, but a lot of them are also like literally about it because
- 18:34they don't want the precautious to hit behind them. A lot of people say
- 18:38that they ain't gonna retaliate them. I mean, it's either one way.
- 18:42Either either you won't change or you don't want change. It ain't you won't
- 18:47change, but you don't want that the results of what may happen with the
- 18:51change, Because if we as people that are out here trying to be that
- 18:55change, if we worried about what may happen because we're standing up and we're
- 18:59aving k do you think those people that stood that march, those people that
- 19:03that did broke these picket lines, you think these people that helped these signs,
- 19:07these people that cross these bridges, do you think they worried about what
- 19:11could have happened to them if they did this? No, they did it
- 19:15and then they suffered the consequences later on. You know, that's what you
- 19:18do as somebody that believes in what you're doing. If you believe in that
- 19:23that you're doing, you have to stand up for it and you have to
- 19:26not bow down. See that's what that's what's wrong with a lot of us.
- 19:30We don't stand up for things that we believe in, and we've continue
- 19:34to follow for whatever people giving us. They give us this and they say
- 19:37that this is what this is supposed to happen, and this is how this
- 19:41is supposed to happen. And that's what we do, and that's what we
- 19:42allow. We don't stand up and be a voice for ourselves. We don't
- 19:45speak up when we know that real right and we know that we have been
- 19:48violated, we know that these things should not be and that's what has happened.
- 19:55I'm talking about generation after generation after generation and I'm just gonna speak for
- 19:59me and a brown person because we have allowed people to over to tell us
- 20:06what to do, to give us orders, and to tell us what we
- 20:08were not capable of, and to tell us what place we should be in
- 20:11for years for decades. Well that those those days are over because we have
- 20:17people here that know who they are, believe in who they are, know
- 20:21the skin that they're in, happy in the skin that they're in, and
- 20:25will stand up and defend the skin that they're in. And you're looking at
- 20:29one, you're hearing one because let me tell you one thing you will not
- 20:33do. You will not walk over me. You will not walk over anyone
- 20:37around me. That's not that's not gonna happen. And I've come to realize
- 20:42if I won't change in this world, I can't just talk about it.
- 20:45I got to be out here and be about it. So guess what I
- 20:48do. These boys and I and I and I bring these things before people.
- 20:53Because all these people that are saying that this is what they're doing,
- 20:56and this is what they're doing, what's show me what you're doing. Show
- 21:00me show me the last time you went down to the state Capitol and helped
- 21:04up a sign and stood in front of these people and told these people what
- 21:08was going on. When was the last time you voted? When was the
- 21:11last time you truly allowed your voice to speak? Because when in the state
- 21:15of Texas, I'm hearing where single digits are turning out to the polls.
- 21:19How can you have single digits turning out to the pole when you have a
- 21:22state of emergency like you have. You have these people in the predicament that
- 21:27they're inside of this judicial system. But then you have individuals that will not
- 21:33show up to the polls. Why because they have this attitude that they vote
- 21:37do not matter. Why because they've seen what has happened, They've seen the
- 21:41nephetism, they've seen all this stuff. But they have to be that cycle.
- 21:45So you can't worry about the president. You can't worry about all of
- 21:48them because a lot of that. We don't have a lot of control over
- 21:52that day and everybody that followed the presidential campaign and all that, they know
- 21:57how all that is run. But we do have control over. What we
- 22:02have control over is the local government. We have control over who is our
- 22:07mayor, who is our city council, who is our governor. We have
- 22:11control over that because we our votes matter. But when you're not showing up
- 22:15to the polls, when you're not voting, when you're not allowing your voice
- 22:19to be heard, that becomes a problem. And that's why a lot of
- 22:25the things that is happening inside the judicial system and inside the prison system is
- 22:29happening. And then that's why a lot of people don't know what's going on.
- 22:33A lot of people don't know what's happening because they don't go to these
- 22:36meetings. They don't go to the city council, they don't go to the
- 22:40mayor meetings, they don't go to these different meetings every month, every quarter,
- 22:45every six months, whatever. They're not at these cities functions. So
- 22:49these people are passing laws, they passing legislation, they pass the city audience,
- 22:55they're doing all these different things, and you don't know until one of
- 22:57your family members or until one of your family members end up in prison and
- 23:03then they going through all of this, but you chose not to express your
- 23:08voice by voting, and that's what's happening. So a lot of us we
- 23:15have ourselves to be at fault for what's going on. So when we look
- 23:19at what is happening in the state of Texas. I blame the people of
- 23:23the state of Texas. They need to stand up because you can't tell me
- 23:29you don't see this on the news. You can't tell me that you don't
- 23:30see this in your newspapers. You can't tell me that you don't see or
- 23:34hear these things going on. But yet it's still year after year after year
- 23:40after year after year, the same things continue to happen. You hear the
- 23:44same stories from the same people, and the same results continuing to happen.
- 23:48And then you have these elected officials that know these things are going on.
- 23:52They will send you these generic letters responding to your complaint, responding to your
- 23:57response or whatever it may be, with this generic letter, like they really
- 24:02truly care, when they really truly don't. But we will say, okay,
- 24:07well, let's just go along with whatever. No, I don't care.
- 24:12If it's a thousand complaints filed already, follow another one a lot,
- 24:21you file one. Everybody around you need to file one. All of y'all
- 24:26need to sue their behinds. And if these people get enough lawsuits behind they
- 24:30behinds, for real lawsuits behind they behinds, they ain't gonna be able to
- 24:36brush it off. They aint gonna be able to cover it up under the
- 24:38road. They're not gonna be able to continue to do that when enough people
- 24:42sue them for the same thing, that they gonna have to realize that there
- 24:45seriously is a problem and maybe we need to look at this, and then
- 24:48maybe outside sources will begin to come in and begin to look at See were
- 24:52not backing down. And you got some people out here like Chanette. Channette
- 24:56is not playing you know. We we we were talking about South Carolina right
- 25:03So here in South Carolina, our Supreme Court have just had a seat open
- 25:12up or something. Well, we have a supreme court that has all males
- 25:21right now, all white males right now. One who was trying to get
- 25:26voted on. There was three numberinees up. There was a white male,
- 25:30a white female, and a black female. Well the black female was the
- 25:36first time okay, was the first to drop out. Then the white female
- 25:40was the second to drop So now we have okay, come on, So
- 25:48now we have now we have he's calling right back, y'all. Y'all know
- 25:52how we can't control they when they locked down like that, they limit their
- 25:57call. So but we're gonna keep this show going. So South Carolina right
- 26:00now is getting ready to have a all white male Supreme Court, which is
- 26:07totally a violation. It's a violation, and we as people need to stand
- 26:12up, we need to speak out and we need to say something because that
- 26:18it's not that that is not constitutional for all white men to preside over cases.
- 26:25How can there be some fairness when if if I'm black and then I'm
- 26:29a woman, how can you sympathize to anything that I may be going through
- 26:33when you don't look like me and you definitely ain't been through nothing I have
- 26:37been through. So there again, we have to look at these things,
- 26:41y'all, and we have to know what's going on. We have to know
- 26:47what's going on. We have to we have to get out here and voice
- 26:52our voice through voting and being an outlet. There's no reason why a lot
- 26:57of this stuff should be happening, and a lot of us just sitting around
- 27:03and just acting like it's okay. We don't go to no meetings, We're
- 27:07not involved in what goes on in the city. We don't go to nothing
- 27:11that is happening. If the doors are opening, the doors are open for
- 27:18the club we wide open to get there, but we won't go and sit
- 27:22down and see what these people are doing with our tax money. We won't
- 27:26go and sit down and figure out why these people are not getting these streets
- 27:30fixed. We won't go and figure out why these people are not doing the
- 27:34things that they need to do as far as having programs for these babies when
- 27:40they have funds. Y'all that realize that these different apartment complexes, if they
- 27:45are getting money from HUD, funding from HUD, If you live in an
- 27:49apartment complex and you're getting funding from HUD, know that they're supposed to be
- 27:55some type of programming going on in those apartment complexes that are supposed to be
- 27:59given back to the community. They're supposed to be doing something for the kids
- 28:03and for the development of the parents. So if you're in the HUD apartment
- 28:08and you may be a single mom, they supposed to have a program that
- 28:11can teach you that could that can help you transition from being a renter to
- 28:17a buyer, to help go from being a apartment owner to a home owner.
- 28:23And see, they don't talk about that, they don't talk about how
- 28:26they're supposed to have these these these events once a month to give back into
- 28:32the kids. And and yeah, they get funds for that. So if
- 28:36you had a HUG subsidized apartment complex, then y'all need to be going to
- 28:41yall rent office and asking them why y'all don't have no programming, why there's
- 28:47nothing going on. Find out if your apartment complex is HUT funded. If
- 28:52they're HUD funded, know that you're supposed to have stuff going on. Know
- 28:56that these things are supposed to be going on. And if they're not inquired
- 29:00bottom and then if the apartment complex, if the management can't give you answers,
- 29:04then you can. You can inquire with HUG because HUD know who are
- 29:08they fund. As matter of fact, they're supposed to advertise if they get
- 29:14HUD funded. So all you have to do is go to their website and
- 29:17see if they get HOOD funded. If they don't want to tell you,
- 29:19if they don't want to talk about it, and then if they try to
- 29:23but they try to be vindictive and they and they try to retaliate against you
- 29:27for ask and then you know that's a lawsuit too. We got to learn
- 29:32to know our rights. We got to understand what our rights are. We
- 29:37got to understand what they can and what they cannot do. We got to
- 29:41know that we can't just keep accepting any and everything from people and and saying
- 29:48that it is okay because it's not from it isn't an inmate, and this
- 29:59call is being recorded and it's subject to monitoring. To accept this free call,
- 30:03press one to refuse this spree. Thank you for using secure US.
- 30:07You may start the conversation now, all right, sorry, all right,
- 30:12so welcome back. I was just just talking, just just keeping them up
- 30:18on some stuff that was that that come across my eyes. South Carolina with
- 30:26this new Supreme Court justice that they were supposed to be getting. They had
- 30:33three nombinees. One was a black female, one was a white female,
- 30:37and one was a white male. Well, the both of the females dropped
- 30:41out. We don't know why they dropped out. We don't know if maybe
- 30:44they were intimidated or what the case may be. We know that that's a
- 30:48lot of that goes on in in in these races and in in in these
- 30:52different southern countries that southern counties, uh in in Southern states. They like
- 30:59to intimidate and they like to the men like to throw their power around,
- 31:03and so the fact that they still think that women should not be in these
- 31:07different offices, in these different places. I'm telling you, they keep on
- 31:12playing with me. I'm gonna be on women walk up in somebody office and
- 31:15signed up to be on somebody pole, and I'm they're gonna be gonna go
- 31:19to me in somebody office. They keep playing. I believe it. But
- 31:26you know, and and and everything you're saying in earlier to day. But
- 31:29people don't want to change. But they don't do nothing about it. I
- 31:33tell I tell these guys all the time, white complain. If you're not
- 31:37gonna do nothing about it, if you're not gonna do nothing about it,
- 31:40don't they don't complain. I understand that they may retaliated, and look,
- 31:44they can't even retaliate against me because I do these podcasts. But you know
- 31:48what I care about these guys. I think what they're doing to them,
- 31:52if they're constitutional, I don't think anybody, not even animals, should be
- 31:56treated like that. I understand that we're incarcraated come for cuns. They may
- 32:00have come committed or may not have committed. But the fact of the matter,
- 32:02if you have policies implemented and you're supposed to adhere to those policies.
- 32:07They do it well. Short the staff don't have nothing to do with it.
- 32:12And if it's too much, shorten the staff, close down units that
- 32:15people go home. You have people in here because they just want a commodity.
- 32:20That's all it is. You're keeping the prisons, you're making money,
- 32:22you're doing it, and now you're keeping them not down. Now you're locking
- 32:24them down in extreme sheet. And that's why they implement this policy to keep
- 32:30any heat related incidents from occurring. But still the administration on this unit does
- 32:36not care, and they're going to continue to do what they want to do
- 32:38because, like they say, they can and and I don't think it's right.
- 32:43And this is why I'm at least one person, you know, and
- 32:45I'm sure there's many more, because I know some people don't really care about
- 32:49what they're doing too. But I'm not. I'm not going on the outside.
- 32:55I'm not being quiet. I'm not going to be quiet, and I
- 32:59don't care what they do. I'm not gonna be quiet. I just wrote
- 33:02a lot of the things that everybody know. I write books and I put
- 33:07a lot of stuff in books, and I get it I'm gonna put it
- 33:08out there. Matter of fact, the book that I'm talking about, the
- 33:12book that I just released, eight Kings decided to share in this book with
- 33:16me. In this poetry, we are writing word of inspiration, worse of
- 33:21hopes, worse of encouragement to you guys, because we want to encourage you.
- 33:24We want y'all to know that we've not forgotten y'all, and that we
- 33:28are rooting for you, and that we are cheering for you, and we're
- 33:30doing what we can do on this side to let people know that we have
- 33:32not forgotten y'all. Because a lot oftentimes people go to prison, people go
- 33:37and people go on with their lives and they forget, and then they forget
- 33:39that, you know, these things are happening because it's not happening to them.
- 33:44They don't think that it's happening. Oh, they're in a safe place.
- 33:46They're better off. They're not out here in these streets, so they
- 33:49think that they're in a safe place when they're not. These people are undergoing
- 33:52more trauma than they probably would be going if they was home and having to
- 33:57deal with whatever it was that got them there, you know. But nevertheless,
- 34:02I just feel like this book is gonna expose a lot of stuff,
- 34:07gonna share not only shed light to some of you guys case because we share
- 34:13y'all stories inside of these this book as well, we're putting a face to
- 34:19this so people can see, you know, we want people to know what
- 34:22you was charged with, how long you've been incarcerated, and what you are
- 34:25enduring the things that you've endured. I even do a piece on the history
- 34:31of private prisons showing how private prison came about and who who invested in these
- 34:38private prisons, So at the end of the day, you see who really
- 34:42had a hand in started of this, you know. And then we wonder
- 34:46why a lot of people are not getting proper care that they need because a
- 34:52hospital, Vandervelt Hospital was one of the main people that back the first prison
- 34:58system. Hospitals was prison system. Why why would you back a prison system?
- 35:04Why would you back something where we're trying to reform and trying to rehabilitate
- 35:07people. But why would you be trying to back something that is knowing nothing
- 35:10but housing people for money? And that's what these three guys that started this
- 35:15private prison that was one of the reasons why they started. They said,
- 35:17well, well, we can help alleviate the overcrowdedness. We can help alleviate
- 35:22the overcrowdedness while we make up some money. And when they got in there
- 35:25and realized that they really couldn't make money, and they got in there and
- 35:30truly realized the money that they can made, they truly went left with it.
- 35:34And that's how you look at the own set of the mass incarceration that
- 35:38gave the government free reign to go out here and do what they wanted to
- 35:43do to help fill these prisons. That that's how they came together and begin
- 35:47to fill these prisons. Because if you go back and you look at the
- 35:52own set of the mass incarceration, you look at the own set of these
- 35:55change and these laws, these legislation, and even the people that some of
- 35:59you our thought was for y'all was not for you, because you go back,
- 36:02all of us, we don't like democrats. Democrats had their hands in
- 36:07it. You don't like Republicans. Republicans had their hands in it. All
- 36:10of them had their hands in it. So don't like yourselves because all of
- 36:15them had their hands in it. Both parties had their hands in it.
- 36:16If you want, if you want to be like that. You don't want
- 36:20to say you want to blame it on the Democrats, and some don't want
- 36:22to blame it on the Republicans. They both had their hands in it,
- 36:24and each time when each one of them was in office, they did what
- 36:28they had to do to appease the people that's in charge. And we all
- 36:31know that there's thirteen families that are in charge of the whole world. They
- 36:37run this entire world. Are they behind the prison system, Yes they are.
- 36:42They are behind a lot of the systems that run this world. And
- 36:45that's what we have to understand. You have to look at it and see
- 36:49it for what it is. You can't pretend that these things don't happen.
- 36:52But what you can do is stop supporting these people that are doing these things
- 36:58that are causing these people. So buying Starbucks starbar is one of these people
- 37:02that make money off of the prison system. Stop buying Victoria's Secret. Victoria's
- 37:07Secret is another one of those that make money off the prison system. Stop
- 37:10buying McDonald's. Stop buying a lot as a list, and the list goes
- 37:15on and on. Go look at the list. Stop supporting those people that
- 37:19support the prison system. When you cut them off and cut their funds off,
- 37:24then guess what. Then they're gonna have to go somewhere else. Then
- 37:28guess what. These private prison systems will begin to shut down if they if
- 37:31nobody can fund them, nobody can run them, then guess what They'll begin
- 37:36to close down. And then I want to go back and touch on what
- 37:37you said about the prison system and them not talking about understaffing the Okay,
- 37:45Well, when I first began working with you guys, I was looking at
- 37:49how the parole board was set up and how there was like really known representation
- 37:53for black people on the parole board. So I was wondering, how was
- 37:58these people coming up for parole and getting Well, I would looked at it,
- 38:00they wouldn't They were giving them over sentences and all all that. I
- 38:06looked at the statistics of looking at the black and brown people that are incarcerated
- 38:09versus the other minorities, the other groups of people that are incarcerated, and
- 38:17you look at the discrepancies, You look at the disparity in that in some
- 38:22cases they triple other racist number of incarcerations. How how and looking at the
- 38:31citizen as well, you look at the centizen as well, where you have
- 38:36someone that has committed murder and told that person that they was gonna kill them.
- 38:40They terroristically told them that they was gonna kill them. But you can
- 38:45give them ten years and then you can give somebody that didn't kill nobody.
- 38:50They may have just shot at somebody or or may just said that they was
- 38:53gonna shoot at them, but you can give them two life sentences. I
- 38:57don't understand the likely. I just don't see how that is can be right
- 39:00in any way. Why because one was black and one was white. I
- 39:05truly don't understand that. Or one was Hispanic and one was white. It's
- 39:08always have something to do with the other race in all black and brown people,
- 39:15it always ends up that way. My thing, I feel like they
- 39:20have targeted the Hispanics because of the the the barrier, the language barrier,
- 39:28and I figured they target them. They target them because of that language barrier,
- 39:34and they can think that they can use them, and some of them
- 39:37they have and some of them they have told them that they they doing it
- 39:42and because they can do it. When you can tell somebody you putting them
- 39:46in prison because you can do it. And somebody that stepped outside of their
- 39:50bounce. They overstep in their authority, they overstepping their power, and they
- 39:53need to be taken down out of office. They need to be removed from
- 39:58office. But yet they stay in these positions. You have public defenders that
- 40:05become assistant district attorneys, that go on to become district attorneys, that go
- 40:08on and get on the board of Appeal. And then they are the same
- 40:13people that have put you there, that are up before your appeals. And
- 40:15then you wonder why you keep getting denied. It's not what you're submitting to
- 40:20them, it's not what you're putting before them. It's because they've got in
- 40:23these positions and they want to keep you there. Because these people are getting
- 40:28paid, They getting campaign money. They can they get money off of this.
- 40:34They get whatever they call them keickbacks for this and keep backs for that.
- 40:37You look at why y'all governor won't do a lot of stuff with TDCJ.
- 40:45Why he moved millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars
- 40:49out of TDCJ and put them at the border. What good did it do?
- 40:52It did no good because the border is worse than it was when you
- 40:57took all that money. So what did you do with all that money that
- 41:00you took from TDCJ when you could have been helping build these these programs.
- 41:05You could have been helping these people. You could have been funding the parole
- 41:08board. So that some of these people that were Elgeibra for parole, they
- 41:12have did they they've done the work, They've done the time, and they've
- 41:15done the work. Because anytime somebody can do twenty twenty five, thirty thirty
- 41:22five, forty years, then they've done They've done the time. Because now
- 41:24when they get out, some of these people ain't even gonna have they they
- 41:29in their sixties, they in their seventies. What else are they gonna be
- 41:32able to do except enjoy what little life they have left. They're not gonna
- 41:36be able to really get on them nine to fives and work. So they're
- 41:38gonna have to find things that they can do that that that stir up that
- 41:43passion in them that they can go out and do something that is not stringous,
- 41:46because a lot of these people are not gonna be able to hold jobs,
- 41:50so they're gonna be able to labor. A lot of them not gonna
- 41:52be able to stand up and do all that they don't look at that.
- 41:54Now they the government gonna have to take care of them again because now they're
- 41:59gonna have to get their security. They've not worked because they've been in prison,
- 42:04but they've been working their numbers because hey, I'm sure if y'all got
- 42:07to sign off on these work these work papers, when y'all go to these
- 42:09different places, somebody getting to pay check somewhere from for for this all this
- 42:14free label the job putting now, but I guarantee you it ain't free for
- 42:17them. All that label the job putting out on baby has somebody getting to
- 42:22check somewhere. And it's slowly but surely a lot of it's gonna be exposed.
- 42:34Very true. I believe. I believe that I'm always hearing that that,
- 42:39you know, even TDCJ had telling Stock, you know, And I
- 42:44mean I try looking through through all the papers and trying to find out,
- 42:46well, under what under what persodium are they telling Stock to me? Because
- 42:51if you really look at it, and you've got T T I T T
- 42:53I that take an industrial company that makes mattress and shirts, all this other
- 42:59type of stuff that they do, Groves Furniture, they do everything, even
- 43:04we do all the life and play, all the stickers, everything to make
- 43:07to generate millions and millions and millions of dollars for the detective and the individual
- 43:14units. Now it's night period that I don't let grove of anybody because it's
- 43:21a commodity. Like we said, it's a for profit prison. Now,
- 43:24if we love them, all the people who are working hard and dedicating themselves
- 43:29to show that, hey, well I'm trying to do my benef I can
- 43:32go home and make brows. But then again, you don't pick up no
- 43:36cases or nothing. You should come around and tell you more. You're manipulating
- 43:38the system. You should have been picking up some cases or violating some kind
- 43:43of rule. So you're too squeaky clean, so we're gonna deny you for
- 43:45roles. I always told him I didn't mention less time and and I gave
- 43:51this topic. But if you look at the knuckleheads, the guys who are
- 43:54actually in and out of trouble, in and out of trouble coming to from
- 44:00regular general population going to a restrictive custody level, here, isn't the ones
- 44:05that they're giving them parole? Why? Because they have to still show that
- 44:09they're given people parole. The only difference between these two is these are being
- 44:15other than the comeback and the guys that are doing their time in a positive
- 44:19way made a simple mistake, you know, won't come back, but they
- 44:22need people to come back. This is how the recidivism is created. The
- 44:27parole system creates the recidivismess. A lot of people say, well, yeah,
- 44:30because of lack of education and they don't have the proper job skills or
- 44:36somebody like this that can be effective. I'm not going to deny that bus
- 44:39effective it is. If you're putting them to work and you're giving them ojts,
- 44:44you should give them that, okat so they can take that that they
- 44:46got and implemented into something outside in the world. But they're not giving nobody.
- 44:52There's opportunities to say people like me, for instance, I got ninety
- 44:55nine years that they gave it for something that I didn't even do. I'm
- 45:00still serving the time and I'm going on twenty six years already. I have
- 45:02to be thirty years before I come up a pole. Thirty years. I
- 45:07came in when I was thirty eight years old. Now I'm sixty three,
- 45:10all right. I mean I go out said that I can still work.
- 45:14I can probably hopefully still work and give me a good job. But who's
- 45:16gonna risk They're gonna try to They're gonna look at me at the high ability.
- 45:21So the only thing I got promising to me is that that I'm was
- 45:23blessed to get into the class shop learned to trade and doing jewelry. I
- 45:28can do any kind of jewelry, who is, basically, and I can
- 45:31probably utilize that when I get out. There's other people that that don't have
- 45:36that same opportunity, who are gonna do when they get out, Like you
- 45:38said, they're gonna have to find a job that they can't actually uh,
- 45:44they can't do no hard labor or anything like that. And they're gonna basically
- 45:47barely need the minimum wage to live in a society that's waged. I mean
- 45:53that that cost of living is already exceedingly high to my understanding. So I
- 45:59mean gonna really look at at the overall of the overall of what's going on.
- 46:05You know, you have people going to prison, especially the state of
- 46:07Texas. They're giving how time like candy, But you've got to look at
- 46:10how the prosecutors that doesn't all manipulate the system to the point where, like
- 46:16you say, we can have the same same murder, but they're gonna say,
- 46:20Okay, because you do guilty, I'm gonna give you thirty years.
- 46:22And another guy who's actually in it and he says, man, I'm not
- 46:25guilty of this. They're gonna give you the maximum punishings that can find the
- 46:30mac. It doesn't matter what I need in the paper. I read guy
- 46:34murders two kids, he gets forty years. What kind of justice is that?
- 46:38Okay, forty years, that's a lount of time. You're gonna do
- 46:42twenty five even twenty five to thirty years before it's brically but can come up
- 46:45for twenty years. But there are two kids just off their lives. Even
- 46:49if it was in the cross shooting or whatever. The fact is, the
- 46:52dealm is that the prosecutors know how to manipulate the system. Do you know
- 46:57how to haggle? As lawyers are are friends and district attorneys that on going
- 47:02to cool together. They only graduated from college together. You never know what
- 47:07the scenario could be. That prosecutor could have been your friend, but thou
- 47:10was a judge. He's gonna go ahead and still help the prosecuting team and
- 47:15the second charity. So what what how is the system actually running? I
- 47:20mean when they were still well, we can see that it's not running.
- 47:22We can see that it's not running correctly because they they've given down these nine
- 47:28verdicts, they've given down these the it's these charges for Donald Trump. Now
- 47:32they're saying that they he's he's he's he's relying on his friends in the Supreme
- 47:37Court to to look out for him, and and and and and that's what's
- 47:42gonna happen. He he he put, he helped put some of the people
- 47:45on that Supreme Court. So he's looking for them to look out for him.
- 47:50He's looking for them to go to war for him. And that's what's
- 47:52gonna happen. And this this, this is the man that y'all won't run
- 47:57in the country. This is the man that everybody out there won't run in
- 48:00the country. When he's a known he's been been forty two is it forty
- 48:08two? Was it forty two or twenty four counts? However many counts,
- 48:13it's too many counts. It's one town too many, two counts, it's
- 48:16one count too many. But you want him as a president, you want
- 48:22him to his slate to be white clean. Why when he has manipulated and
- 48:27he man he has done all that he can do to bring America against itself.
- 48:34He wants to see another civil war right here on this sand. And
- 48:38not only that, he pissing off people outside of this country that can come
- 48:42into this country and do anything to us. And it's been shown that these
- 48:46people can do that. When we see the blimp that came through, blimp
- 48:51size of three buses, we don't see it coming. We don't see it,
- 48:53and it don't hit no radar, it don't hit nothing. And it
- 48:57wasn't just one time that this happened. This happened twice. But we all
- 49:02get comfortable, we all get that we all trust in the system, because
- 49:07that's what they taught us. Can't trust the system. That don't that that
- 49:09was not set up for us. It was not set up for us in
- 49:13the beginning. So how can you think that it's for us now? It
- 49:16wasn't set up for you in the beginning, So how do you think it's
- 49:21for you now? That's what I want people to understand. It was not
- 49:23designed for you. You know that's true. It doesn't matter if you're a
- 49:30Republican or Democrat. Wrong is wrong, right is right? If you break
- 49:34the law, what does that telling you about your character? I'm good,
- 49:39yeah, yeah, I only to hear what they want to hear. They
- 49:45believe what they want to believe. But if you look at the actual fact,
- 49:50is this actually gonna happen? I mean, how many times are you
- 49:52gonna do this or do that? I mean they're talking about the job that
- 49:58they parted that there off at level. Well apparently not because according to a
- 50:02lot of people they talked to, the AIS are taking control. You don't
- 50:07have people like a grocery stores. They have automatic killers, you know,
- 50:13and a lot of that. Some of that, I mean, I mean
- 50:16some of it, some of it is it's okay, and then some of
- 50:22it's not. Because Walmart just had a big lawsuit about about that about they
- 50:28self machines. They they self machines and if you go in these neighborhood walmarts,
- 50:35that's all you have. During the pandemic. It allowed these people to
- 50:37be able to go to self serve everything self serve. So now you just
- 50:40have somebody standing there telling you which one to go to. They don't and
- 50:45then if you have issues there then they'll come up and help you with those
- 50:47issues. Now, see that's what I'm telling people. They still don't have
- 50:51to have somebody there, because when you have problems with the machines, can't
- 50:53run the machines them. Machines can't run theyselves, the machines can't correct themselves.
- 50:59They are You always got to have somebody come over there. Somebody gonna
- 51:01need their cold. Somebody got to look at an ID. So if they
- 51:05buying alcohol, if they buying tobacco products, somebody got physically see an I
- 51:08D. Because they don't have nothing that can say, oh, this is
- 51:13really this person or this is that person or whatever. Somebody got to physically
- 51:15look at it. So some aspect of it. Yeah, And then how
- 51:20they've been operating. They got lawsuits, a lot of those places, got
- 51:24lossuits coming. They gonna try and we're gonna see how it's gonna work.
- 51:29Just like with these different cars you had, Tesla, We've been having a
- 51:34lot of issues with those cars. A lot of those cars been getting mines
- 51:37of their owns and driving people off cliffs and doing all kinds of other stuff
- 51:40and then just just just all kind of stuff. So I'm not gonna say
- 51:46that they're just gonna take over because it's always gonna in certain areas, it's
- 51:51always gonna need up a human touch. You know, a lot of people
- 51:54think that it's gonna take over the medical field. But I still think that
- 51:58that's gonna be a need for a physical person because like drawing blood, you're
- 52:01gonna need a person to draw blood, because you ain't gonna be able to
- 52:05have no no machine to just go up there and draw no blood from nobody.
- 52:08They're gonna be sticking there people everywhere, you know, from away.
- 52:12What about people with running veins? How you're gonna have a machine that's gonna
- 52:14be able to detect that and detect all these different things, some stuff just
- 52:17not a machine that's not gonna be able to do it right right. And
- 52:23everything that I'm beloving is because I don't know anything about technology out there.
- 52:28Everything has changed, what has changed to me? Like I said, I
- 52:30think cultivated so long, I don't I don't even think I'll be able to
- 52:35operate one of the phones they got out there. Well I want, well,
- 52:39I wonder if because I and in twenty twenty nine, when they build
- 52:45that that two million dollars, that two billion dollar prison. They building one
- 52:50in Alabama, and they building one in Atlanta, Fulldton County. They're getting
- 52:55a new billion dollars there. This is gonna be a billion dollars the one
- 53:00and Alabama is going to be too big. But they getting billion dollar facilities
- 53:05and by twenty twenty nine, Atlanta is expected to have THEIRS. By twenty
- 53:09twenty nine, Alabama is expected to have THEIRS by I want to say it
- 53:15said twenty twenty six. But there's thirty one facilities that's coming up in the
- 53:21United United States prisons that's coming up in the United States. Alabama is one
- 53:25that they thinking about that they want to incorporate the robots. So we want
- 53:30to see how that's gonna go. I want to see how you're gonna have
- 53:31robots running the humans and when they it's too hot up in there and then
- 53:36robots start, how they go, I don't be able to get order up.
- 53:45And now that that's what I want to see, I truly want to
- 53:49see that. That's gonna be a sad day in time. I wouldn't gona
- 53:52say I would have done if somebody tried to throw a cup of water on
- 53:57them A short amount you know I mean it is, but but yeah,
- 54:00people like they like they do like they do like the that that's that's gonna
- 54:06be the seeout. So they gonna do this do them just like they do
- 54:08the other CEO. They might get some feces and some Yeah so ain't no
- 54:13telling us. So we gonna see how this is urine and yeah, we're
- 54:15gonna see how this cos going on them. Yeah, exactly how I love.
- 54:21I would love to see them breakup of fight. I would love to
- 54:22see them break up a fight. They must just gonna have gas automatic releast
- 54:27because I would love to see them break up a fight automatic right right,
- 54:30that would be something to see. I was gonna say, you know,
- 54:36it's crazy because these these buildings have been here like this unit has. It's
- 54:39already going like a thirty thirty one years. They've been here and and they're
- 54:44fabricated buildings. And if you look at at the crown shifts so much that
- 54:47their areas and the orders of the buildings that are coming apart. There's areas
- 54:52where the windows and shifted. And when it range, water comes in,
- 54:58water comes in? It can it can? I remember when I was on
- 55:00Commody, I first got there and had a band a rain storm and I
- 55:06got up in the middle of the nine and I put my foot on the
- 55:08floor and it was full of water. I couldn't believe it. I said,
- 55:12what the and uh? But he shoot it here? Yeah? Here
- 55:21when even the last twenty years, because I'm afraid one day they aren't going
- 55:25to collapse. And I wonder who's going to be responsible for that. I
- 55:30wonder who's going to be the accountability Remember that that mode, that big old
- 55:34apartment complex that fell over there in Florida because they said the stress points were
- 55:38kind of messed up, and they even told him about it, but they
- 55:42never did anything about it, and then telling Florida a few years back,
- 55:45I killed a lot of people. So it was a big old deal.
- 55:49Anyway, I feel it that what they need to do is come over here
- 55:52and check these stress points too, because one day these builties are going to
- 55:57actually kill the talk I I I kind of have that feguing. You know,
- 56:01we already have We're the dorms and all the bottoms, like not all
- 56:04the bottom, but in some areas of the bottoms of the decabricated of building,
- 56:08they're already rusted out. I can look out at the bottom in the
- 56:13corner from one of the sails, and you can look outside. You can
- 56:15see daylight. You know. So of course you're gonna have all these creepy
- 56:20creators come in, Snake, She's gonna have scorpions, Uh, spiders.
- 56:24You're gonna have all kinds of creepy creators come in and uh and uh you
- 56:29find them in your cell when you come in. Uh. I found a
- 56:31lot of scorpions, uh, black scorpions, Uh, some like brownlins and
- 56:38uh, tons of roaches and done the roaches and the lord. But you
- 56:44know, it's something we go through. But and especially during the heat.
- 56:47And like I said, and that's that's my main concern right now, is
- 56:52the heat. I mean, yes, I can, I can follow the
- 56:54man events and I can. I can take it to the corner exacting.
- 56:58But the only thing is with me. I I've already had a strike three
- 57:01on my lawsuits, so I have to pay for my next money right now,
- 57:05says I'm not in the crash shops. You know, kind of hard
- 57:07to pay for something without being able to earn a living. But I'm going
- 57:15to continue to voice out whatever I can until they actually started doing what they're
- 57:20supposed to do. Even when I get out, and you know, I'll
- 57:22let them be more than happy to join you in your effort to doing everything
- 57:27that you're doing now to trying to bring acknowledgement and awareness to what's going on
- 57:34within the system. I mean, the TDTJ should be held accountable. They
- 57:37should be and I've read, like I said, I've read numerous cases,
- 57:42hundred cases for the lawsuits and laws. He says, Fank, somebody was
- 57:47telling me early this morning while we went to medical that his epin pile was
- 57:52telling him last night that she typed in some place and it showed all the
- 57:55lawsuits again GDDJ for air conditioning, for for being so hot, I mean,
- 58:01and I was surprised. So I told you I had to ask her
- 58:06website that was on so that I can share it with you, so maybe
- 58:09you can go and see everything that's going on and did so confirm everything that
- 58:15you've been complaining about, everything that I've been talking about, and you can
- 58:20point it out. Well, look at this, keep me about look at
- 58:22this. They're bringing this up. But like I said, a post say
- 58:25living and it's hard for us to do something very articulated the way that they
- 58:31wanted to articulate it even though they're supposed to look at it it was le
- 58:37stritic standard. Uh. We still trying to do our best, you know.
- 58:42And and like I said, if I've been fighting my case for since
- 58:45day one, and I've been shot down every time, every time, and
- 58:50it's only because I had to fight it on my own. I had to
- 58:52study them all. I had to learn the procedures. I had to learn
- 58:57how to articulate my words in a sense that I can make it a meaningful
- 59:01It's like me writing the story and let in the judge decipher if it's PETI
- 59:06way enough so that it can have give me relieve. But either way,
- 59:13uh, I want to thank you and your audience will allow me to be
- 59:15back on the show, and God William, I like to come back again.
- 59:20I can't tell you what in but hopefully one day soon I will trying
- 59:23to keep you posted with what's calling on here. Uh you know that look
- 59:29and time so I can't get that much information. Only when when people pass
- 59:32by and I go to medical Uh so I'll be able to get you know,
- 59:37share information with everybody. But either then, I thank you wanted again
- 59:40and hopefully God willing. You know, change will be coming, you know,
- 59:45and you know we we can just hope for the best. Right,
- 59:49So, thank you so much, view first hearers, listeners, toybody,
- 59:54thank you so much. All right, all r oh, thank you?
- 1:00:00What's your letters? Right? The caller has hung up. Well, I
- 1:00:09thank y'all for joining me today and tuning in again every chance I get.
- 1:00:15I'm gonna try to bring somebody on on Monday. We'll probably have somebody else
- 1:00:19on next Monday. Like say, he is struggling trying to keep money money
- 1:00:24on these books because they had cut the opportunity for him to go into the
- 1:00:28shop and make the jury and to make those things that was helping him keep
- 1:00:32funds on his book. The man is in his sixties, he's sixty three
- 1:00:37years old, so of course his parents are elderly. His mom is in
- 1:00:40her nineties and she's suffering from dementia. So y'all, he's doing the best
- 1:00:45that he can to fight for his freedom, to get free, to get
- 1:00:49on the outside. Because the man is wrongfully incarcerated. Y'all can go over
- 1:00:52and actually look at a documentary that was done on his behalf by ksat twelve
- 1:01:01some years ago. It's labeled the Bingo King, and it shows you some
- 1:01:08of the discrepancies in his case, like where is that gun? When was
- 1:01:14it testified? Why was it never testified? Why was he never tested for
- 1:01:17gunshot residue? All of those things? Why wasn't no cameras pooled? Because
- 1:01:23you were talking about a business area and what happened to the people that they
- 1:01:29saw running in the other direction? Whatever happened to those people? Did y'all
- 1:01:32ever find those people? Did y'all interview those people? Like? It is
- 1:01:37so much, y'all, So if y'all get a chancet's check out that documentary.
- 1:01:44I think it's like a six part documentary. It's on YouTube. It
- 1:01:47was done by Kasat News. And when the newspeople can sit down with you
- 1:01:52and go over your story and and believe that there's some discrepancies in your story,
- 1:01:57then that that that's that that that means that somebody need to take heed
- 1:02:00and look at it, and they yet to do it. This man has
- 1:02:04been in prison twenty six years, y'all. So if y'all will please share
- 1:02:07this out with someone in your circle of influence, never know what the next
- 1:02:09person may be in need of Also, if you have someone that is incarcerated
- 1:02:14and you would like to come on and be a voice, we have an
- 1:02:19amazing show on the Coup podcast Let's talk about it with Channette Johnson. She's
- 1:02:27on every first and third Monday. You can come on and share with her.
- 1:02:32She will take a look at your loved one's case and she will try
- 1:02:37to break it down and and try to look at it and and try to
- 1:02:43discuss it. So, if you're out there and you got somebody, y'all,
- 1:02:45we're here to bring life to all these injustices that's taking place in our
- 1:02:50black and brown community. Y'all. It has to stop, and we are
- 1:02:53the change that we want to see. So change starts and ends with me.
- 1:02:58So I am being that change, y'all. So thank y'all for joining
- 1:03:01me on today. Y'all share this out with somebody and y'all be blessed.
- 1:03:05Enjoy y'all Monday, Enjoy the rest of y'all week. Walking purpose on purpose.
- 1:03:10Know you got purpose. No, you didn't get dropped out of the
- 1:03:13sky. There's a reason why you hear y'all be blessed, Oh things bless
- 1:03:25were in all the blue sky's Boys,
