- 0:51Speaker 1: morning to you out there and listening. Man, glad to
- 0:54Speaker 1: be back with you.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Uh.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Took a little vacation, was the crew, which is cold
- 1:02Speaker 1: for Big Kenny was in the clink for three days.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So whenever he is saying that, guys, I know it
- 1:12Speaker 1: wasn't nothing new. I'm working off some irresponsible didn't understand
- 1:19Speaker 1: what that meant. He was letting us know he won't
- 1:22Speaker 1: be out in time. But it ain't new, That's what
- 1:25Speaker 1: I'm saying. That's the most important part. I'm working some
- 1:28Speaker 1: old stuff out. I'm not irresponsible. It ain't new, That's
- 1:34Speaker 1: my point. But the crew is here, the bad producer
- 1:38Speaker 1: in the building. You're doing that old man nervous nichhaped you.
- 1:43Speaker 7: Okay, over there, man, I called a Charlie horse Charlie
- 1:46Speaker 7: horses this morning, Harley.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You really never hear he was trying to jog up
- 1:51Speaker 1: the hill. I caught him. He was trying to join
- 1:53Speaker 1: the last time you heard it really actually referred to
- 1:56Speaker 1: as a Charlie holl. You don't ever see, Troy like
- 2:00Speaker 1: I got a child clans about third grade. Third grade. Oh,
- 2:08Speaker 1: we actually had taken by it. It's a difference between
- 2:11Speaker 1: the cramp and the Childie. Telling them what the difference is, son,
- 2:13Speaker 1: tell them what the difference.
- 2:15Speaker 7: Charlie horse, come for you. You can you can feel
- 2:17Speaker 7: the heat you talk about the blacksmith. We're talking about
- 2:20Speaker 7: what the the shoes?
- 2:23Speaker 1: It hits, It hits different, It hits different, Charlie horse,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's different. Now what the cramp scientifically not proven in
- 2:36Speaker 1: six what do they call? Hits different? It hits different.
- 2:40Speaker 1: See if that goes into your ai.
- 2:43Speaker 5: What do they call Charlie horses in twenty twenty six?
- 2:47Speaker 1: A cramp?
- 2:48Speaker 5: A cramp? Okay, that's the technical name. Yes, that's the Okay.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't even know why they started calling it Charlie horse,
- 2:57Speaker 1: Charlie's horse.
- 2:58Speaker 5: I have no idea.
- 3:00Speaker 8: I wondered that too, but I was scared to ask
- 3:02Speaker 8: because I thought it might make me seem like I
- 3:04Speaker 8: wasn't athletic, you know what I'm saying, Because all the
- 3:06Speaker 8: athletes knew why it was a Charlie horse. I'm gonna
- 3:11Speaker 8: just keep quiet in the area.
- 3:14Speaker 7: You know your muscles, you run the do main port, Yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 7: but you yeah, Ca and you in your hamstring area.
- 3:21Speaker 7: A lot of times you get that cramp. I catch
- 3:24Speaker 7: at do with Charlie and the horse and the horse.
- 3:28Speaker 7: That's what I'm saying. We get the cramp, you run
- 3:30Speaker 7: like hold on.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It said.
- 3:33Speaker 9: It is unknown. Uh, the origin is unknown. It started,
- 3:38Speaker 9: it was used to used in baseball in the eighteen eighties,
- 3:42Speaker 9: but they don't know the origin.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Okay, can we pause here for a moment?
- 3:46Speaker 1: Eighteen eighties.
- 3:47Speaker 8: Can we pause here for a moment to recognize the
- 3:50Speaker 8: fact that the origin we search ai and the origin
- 3:55Speaker 8: is not known. But this man had a story read
- 3:58Speaker 8: not a horse.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm saying. He didn't even pause. He just threw it
- 4:05Speaker 1: out there. And if we wasn't able to research, we'd
- 4:09Speaker 1: have been telling somebody else that information later sports. That's
- 4:14Speaker 1: how it start. That's how that's how propaganda. Uh, you
- 4:19Speaker 1: know it. It's because a man with a horse and
- 4:21Speaker 1: you'll be running, you know, So Charlie and the horse. Actually,
- 4:26Speaker 1: nobody knows why it ever was referred to. In some homes.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm quite sure they've never even heard phrase of a
- 4:35Speaker 1: Charlie horse. But the technical term, from what I would imagine,
- 4:39Speaker 1: is a cramp. Uh. And there is no difference. There
- 4:42Speaker 1: is no it hit different, It's the same. It's just
- 4:46Speaker 1: a cramp. I've never ran over to a coach and
- 4:51Speaker 1: told him, I have a Charlotte horse. What's what's wrong
- 4:55Speaker 1: with you? Gaddy? Hey, man, my leg cramping? Coach?
- 4:59Speaker 5: Well, what do horses? What do horses that get cramped? Say?
- 5:04Speaker 1: You got a man? I got a bad producer helped
- 5:10Speaker 1: me out, man. Hall of Fame game is to night, Yes, Uh,
- 5:15Speaker 1: it's tonight, tonight, at eight pm, twelve hours from now,
- 5:20Speaker 1: the Caroline of Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals will take
- 5:25Speaker 1: the field up in Canton. I'm not even sure I
- 5:29Speaker 1: forgot who is going in the Hall of Fame. Actually,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I want to say Larry Fitzgerald.
- 5:35Speaker 9: Fitzgerald and Luke Keigley because because it's gonna be it
- 5:38Speaker 9: will be like the team they played for.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Okay, two of the players in the team, Okay, uh,
- 5:44Speaker 1: those only ones I know. Well, I'm saying that's a
- 5:47Speaker 1: good start, and you got two hundred more information than
- 5:50Speaker 1: I have. Larry Fitzgerald seven sixteen years as a wide
- 5:55Speaker 1: receiver out of pit young man just missed the consistency
- 6:00Speaker 1: when you think about him, it was just a consistent
- 6:03Speaker 1: It was just one of those guys knew how to
- 6:06Speaker 1: get open. It wasn't I would I would put him
- 6:10Speaker 1: right there if you don't remember him playing kind of
- 6:15Speaker 1: like a Chris Carter. They were sure handed guys that
- 6:19Speaker 1: quarterbacks wasn't necessarily blazing speed where you can remember this
- 6:24Speaker 1: dynamic play where they that Odell Beckham kind of play.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And then it was just they would always catch the ball.
- 6:34Speaker 1: If they're open and the ball is thrown to them,
- 6:36Speaker 1: they're catching the ball. Now. I don't know how many
- 6:38Speaker 1: yards they got, but it wasn't a lot of drops
- 6:41Speaker 1: when you think about those kind of players.
- 6:43Speaker 9: So that Larry Fitzgerald has more career tackles than drops,
- 6:50Speaker 9: and I would believe it.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Just me remembering him through my years.
- 6:56Speaker 5: And to put that in full perspective.
- 6:59Speaker 8: He's a wide receiver, yes, I mean how many times
- 7:01Speaker 8: does he get an opportunity.
- 7:03Speaker 1: When you when you think about him in your head.
- 7:05Speaker 1: The way he played the game, it was more of
- 7:08Speaker 1: that that surehanded moved the chain, almost had that tight
- 7:12Speaker 1: end quality. Uh Luke from the Carolina Panthers Remiami's of
- 7:18Speaker 1: a guy like a Zach Thomas from Miami. Nothing necessarily
- 7:22Speaker 1: special about the size or anything, just once again consistent
- 7:27Speaker 1: and constant, great tackler. When he's gonna get there, he's
- 7:33Speaker 1: gonna make the tackle. You didn't see him get up
- 7:36Speaker 1: with the clap like I missed it. It was just
- 7:39Speaker 1: one of those guys that could tackle.
- 7:41Speaker 8: But and he would confuse in the beginning a lot
- 7:44Speaker 8: of announcers too, because of the way his name was fair.
- 7:51Speaker 1: He's one of those guys that you actually want to
- 7:53Speaker 1: go and ask him to say his name for you,
- 7:57Speaker 1: because you know, some guys say, y'all know you've been
- 7:59Speaker 1: pronunce my name wrong? Yes, who else was it? Because
- 8:05Speaker 1: sometimes if you don't go ask them to actually say it,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you just go along with the Charlie Horse.
- 8:11Speaker 8: With Charlie who got ah Louisiana.
- 8:17Speaker 5: And he said, we've been saying.
- 8:19Speaker 10: His name, oh Travis, Yes, he did recently say that.
- 8:27Speaker 10: And you let us say that for like nine you
- 8:31Speaker 10: want to nobody on the shoulder, yeah'd be like, hey,
- 8:34Speaker 10: the National Championship run.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yes, And we've seen different guys. Turrell made sure for
- 8:43Speaker 1: years everybody we called him Terrell on and he said,
- 8:48Speaker 1: that's not actually how it's tear after how his I
- 8:52Speaker 1: think his grandmother or his aunt Ti, that's how they
- 8:56Speaker 1: would say it. It is. And the you're not so
- 8:58Speaker 1: far off that I'm sitting here upset. It's just it's pronounced.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And one of the things I've always shared that is
- 9:07Speaker 1: a serious business and being a color coming any announcer
- 9:12Speaker 1: for any game, people get upset. They will catch you
- 9:15Speaker 1: as you walk in and be like, no, it's for real,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and you've been saying Farley or something like that, barrel
- 9:26Speaker 1: and they want to make sure. And and the whole
- 9:29Speaker 1: thing is that it's actually spelled in the way that
- 9:33Speaker 1: you're used to sing, but they're pronouncing it differently.
- 9:38Speaker 8: And don't be dismissive about it either, like oh man,
- 9:40Speaker 8: it'll be all right.
- 9:41Speaker 1: No, it won't. It's they're giving you this information for
- 9:47Speaker 1: you to correct it.
- 9:48Speaker 7: And some names have the same spelling as a different way.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Other people may pronounce their last names too. I've ran
- 9:54Speaker 7: in that situation. Some people Hopper hooper, like even though
- 9:59Speaker 7: it's got two o's, they still may say it's Opper.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Oh you know that is true because Keithley's got a
- 10:06Speaker 5: U in it.
- 10:06Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I mean, not to you with an accent mark or
- 10:11Speaker 1: nothing like that. Just you what y'all doing, Like going
- 10:15Speaker 1: to New Orleans chopper choppatulas, Yeah, tula and you look
- 10:19Speaker 1: at it and it's like, don't look at the words,
- 10:22Speaker 1: just choppatulas because if you look at c h oh
- 10:26Speaker 1: pt that the first to Peter throw me out where
- 10:30Speaker 1: the pea come from? And then you say tulis? But
- 10:33Speaker 1: this is a this a o L.
- 10:36Speaker 8: I hold on now, I'm going back to Mississippi. I
- 10:40Speaker 8: could I could pronounce that.
- 10:41Speaker 1: The Hall of Fame game tonight, Carolina Arizona, Who you got?
- 10:46Speaker 1: I have zero clue? Keep pounding. I do know that
- 10:52Speaker 1: Carson Beck out of Miami is going to start for
- 10:56Speaker 1: the Cardinals with Jakobe Brissette and Gardner Minshew expected to
- 11:05Speaker 1: be number one and two. They're not going to play
- 11:07Speaker 1: in this game. Carson Beck is going to get the
- 11:09Speaker 1: start for Arizona. He was third round pick. I think
- 11:15Speaker 1: he could be their future, and you might get a
- 11:17Speaker 1: little taste of it, especially based on the two guys
- 11:20Speaker 1: in front of him are more journeymen that you can
- 11:24Speaker 1: get through a season with. But here's an opportunity for him.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And on the other side with Carolina and their young
- 11:32Speaker 1: quarterback Bryce Young, I guess it's time for him to deliver,
- 11:37Speaker 1: but I doubt that we will see him tonight as well.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Kenney Pickett is starting for the Panthers. Okay, Kenny Pickett,
- 11:44Speaker 1: who was at Pittsburgh. Yeah at some point.
- 11:49Speaker 9: Yeah, he was on the Eagles and bounced around.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he played Tri Cities. He's up there at Bufort
- 12:00Speaker 1: for two weeks. We'll be back a big show for
- 12:04Speaker 1: you today. We're gonna talk about Tony Romo, the mental
- 12:07Speaker 1: factor that everybody seems to be forgetting in this transgender debate,
- 12:14Speaker 1: shack dunking the ball, the live tournament, finding two hundred
- 12:18Speaker 1: and fifty million, because you know, there's always just two
- 12:21Speaker 1: hundred and fifty million somewhere sitting and nobody knows we We.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Didn't all found two hundred around somewhere, am I right.
- 12:29Speaker 1: When they found it? We'll be back well the Sports
- 12:31Speaker 1: Talk show right after this.
- 12:33Speaker 11: You don't know me money which don't do no ho stuff.
- 12:36Speaker 1: We're standing in on the sofa.

- 15:02Speaker 21: No, no, no, no, Now it's time to present the Jock
- 15:05Speaker 21: of the Day on the Sports.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Jacks's taken it to a.
- 15:08Speaker 22: Completely different level this year where we highlight an accolade
- 15:11Speaker 22: that has taken their game to the next level.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, what your eyes said?
- 15:20Speaker 6: What you change?
- 15:23Speaker 1: What you believing? What makes this Woe Shock Show? I'm
- 15:37Speaker 1: the sport Shock Wayne Guarantee. The w n B a
- 15:42Speaker 1: so much controversy surrounding the Women's National Basketball Association. I
- 15:50Speaker 1: think the last time we were on live we spoke
- 15:54Speaker 1: about that has been more controversy looking about than play
- 16:03Speaker 1: on the court. This season. Here in Atlanta, the big
- 16:09Speaker 1: off season move was angel Reach coming to town. Angelies
- 16:13Speaker 1: has a Barbie Dall that has been produced and is
- 16:21Speaker 1: selling now. But Angury spoke that in her young youth
- 16:30Speaker 1: she was not able to play with dolls because none
- 16:34Speaker 1: of the dolls will looked like her, and the commandsche
- 16:44Speaker 1: Gregg's of the world called her bluff on this, Big Kenny,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I wanted to ask the oldest they called her bluff
- 16:55Speaker 1: on her making this statement. Now we know and we
- 17:01Speaker 1: found out if you forgot when the Barbie movie came
- 17:06Speaker 1: out a couple of years ago.
- 17:09Speaker 5: A couple of years ago and a couple of years.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You had the contingency of a crowd that all went
- 17:17Speaker 1: and dressed not only went to attend the Barbie movement,
- 17:22Speaker 1: but the whole movement was to dress up like a Barbie.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Angel Rees says that she didn't have the ability to
- 17:33Speaker 1: play with dolls, but the Barbie nation says it. Angel
- 17:41Speaker 1: Reese's line that the first Barbie of color was dropped
- 17:48Speaker 1: in nineteen sixty eight. It was called Christi. The first
- 17:58Speaker 1: true dedicated to black or people of color Barbie was
- 18:05Speaker 1: dropped in nineteen eighty three, and even in the late nineties,
- 18:16Speaker 1: Barbie made a collection of WNBA clothing for the Barbies. So, guys,
- 18:30Speaker 1: bad producer, this is your superhero. You make any statements
- 18:38Speaker 1: as though you didn't have. But these things were in circulation,
- 18:43Speaker 1: they were selling at the store. But you tell me
- 18:47Speaker 1: you didn't have a chance. Please explain that.
- 18:52Speaker 7: Maybe no parents didn't allow her to play with baby dolls.
- 18:56Speaker 7: I mean, there are some parents who don't allow their
- 19:00Speaker 7: kids to play with baby dolls. And if there aren't
- 19:03Speaker 7: a certain color. I've known that donation time. We've told you,
- 19:07Speaker 7: told Christmas, hey, try to get a doll that looks
- 19:09Speaker 7: like the kids that that's gonna play with it or whatever.
- 19:13Speaker 7: So I can only think that if she would have said, hey,
- 19:17Speaker 7: my parents couldn't afford this for me, I didn't never
- 19:20Speaker 7: have a.
- 19:20Speaker 1: She didn't say she couldn't afford it. She said she
- 19:22Speaker 1: didn't they didn't make them.
- 19:25Speaker 7: Well, maybe she probably misused the words. So I mean,
- 19:28Speaker 7: hopefully she meant that parents couldn't then allow the dolls,
- 19:34Speaker 7: or they weren't allowed to play with the dolls. She
- 19:35Speaker 7: should live, you know, clarified a little bit more.
- 19:41Speaker 8: Command you, Greg, big Kenny, Command you, Greg. He called
- 19:46Speaker 8: you first. What would you like to say, sir?
- 19:52Speaker 9: The only thing that would actually make sense is where
- 19:55Speaker 9: she lived they didn't have them in the stores, but
- 20:00Speaker 9: that they.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Don't sell Barbie dolls in Baltimore, and they had a
- 20:06Speaker 1: Inhine City, Florida, and we didn't even have garbage collection.
- 20:12Speaker 5: But you had black Barbie dolls. And I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 20:17Speaker 9: I think there's just something that she just said and
- 20:20Speaker 9: not really put too much. It was kind of more
- 20:26Speaker 9: of a reflex thing. Or maybe that's it's like, it's
- 20:30Speaker 9: very it's a very cliche thing to say. I think
- 20:34Speaker 9: when it comes to two dolls like, oh, they weren't
- 20:37Speaker 9: any that looked like me like this, I don't think
- 20:40Speaker 9: that's what this this moment has to be about having
- 20:46Speaker 9: your own Barbie doll. It doesn't have to be about that.
- 20:48Speaker 9: But I think it's just a reflex for her to say, oh,
- 20:51Speaker 9: there weren't any dolls that looked like me growing up,
- 20:55Speaker 9: even though she's like twenty four, so they've been around
- 21:00Speaker 9: this century.
- 21:00Speaker 5: But they wasn't.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I think she's twenty five, right there. Yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 1: go ahead on back, big Kenny, tell me. Uh Now,
- 21:09Speaker 1: somebody asked her about Barbies and she was she was
- 21:12Speaker 1: doing her interviews, just dropped her line, launched her her
- 21:18Speaker 1: Barbie doll right and they said, did you plan She
- 21:20Speaker 1: said no, because they didn't make them like, Okay.
- 21:25Speaker 8: She wanted to sound relevant and race always gets sound bites.
- 21:31Speaker 8: And y'all been talking about Sophie Cunningham so much that
- 21:35Speaker 8: you know how much I like that attention. I'm gonna
- 21:37Speaker 8: need some of that back on me, especially since I'm
- 21:40Speaker 8: launching my Barbie line. And I put my foot square
- 21:43Speaker 8: in my mouth because now, not only did I insult
- 21:49Speaker 8: the black Barbies that came before me, I look like
- 21:52Speaker 8: I don't know nothing about the deal that I just
- 21:55Speaker 8: signed with these people.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I don't know nothing about this company.
- 21:57Speaker 9: To add to it that she she addicted herself because
- 22:02Speaker 9: that she was doing an interview.
- 22:03Speaker 8: Didn't she call herself Chicago Barbie when she was playing
- 22:06Speaker 8: for Chicago.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying Bayou Barbie.
- 22:10Speaker 8: I'm saying so the fact that you don't know anything
- 22:13Speaker 8: about the Barbie franchise to me would make me take
- 22:17Speaker 8: the deal back.
- 22:18Speaker 1: She said.
- 22:19Speaker 11: Uh.
- 22:20Speaker 9: With Cosmopolitan magazine, she said, thank you for allowing me
- 22:23Speaker 9: to express this full circle moment from playing with Barbie
- 22:26Speaker 9: dolls as a little girl to have my own wearing
- 22:29Speaker 9: my signature read So I just tried.
- 22:34Speaker 1: The company so we could catch it on the other side.
- 22:39Speaker 1: The sports mine is a whatever the bad producers talking about.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I have no clue. Nobody ever does about what that
- 22:48Speaker 1: was about. Nobody ever has any clue. I do know
- 22:52Speaker 1: in our society as Big Kenny was kind of alluding
- 22:56Speaker 1: with the race, the victim angle, this sell a lot
- 23:04Speaker 1: of dolls, sell a lot of things, this hardship, this, this,
- 23:10Speaker 1: this eight mile eminem letting you know clar two parents.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Angel never plays Clarence over here talking about he O
- 23:21Speaker 1: G Triple Old Murder. But Clarence not Clarence go to
- 23:26Speaker 1: East Side Academy, c Cranburg, Cramburg, Cramper. That's even more expensive.
- 23:37Speaker 1: That's all she did. We'll be back more to sports.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Couldn't play with black barbies, were gonna fly every black
- 23:42Speaker 1: Barby available. She's a crap.
- 23:55Speaker 13: Don't go a Wayne Born of the sports John Hill
- 23:58Speaker 13: with Wayne Gamby is coming.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Up, maxt.
- 24:02Speaker 23: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 24:05Speaker 23: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 24:09Speaker 23: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the

- 24:16Speaker 1: Come on, we're smarter than this.

- 26:23Speaker 12: You're getting money.
- 26:24Speaker 27: Throw it in the egg that.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Still smell of my clothes like Kristal Green. I was
- 26:29Speaker 1: cooking the money and the moon like horse shoes. I
- 26:31Speaker 1: was tossing the moss, shouting to re up gout of
- 26:34Speaker 1: recycled floor. Welcome back to this watch shock shot. I'm
- 26:38Speaker 1: the sports shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you. We
- 26:42Speaker 1: started off the show talking about the Hall of Fame
- 26:44Speaker 1: game that is tonight, and what's so sad? And and
- 26:48Speaker 1: and pace yourself because I'll tell you that, and then
- 26:54Speaker 1: you'll forget. The official season is still five weeks wait,
- 27:02Speaker 1: a long journey to get the game won. So don't
- 27:05Speaker 1: don't tune in and then you know.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Start they got pre season.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Don't they just cook you a six piece tonight, don't don't.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Don't drop a whole twelve, just drop six twelve. I'm
- 27:21Speaker 1: telling you, somebody run out of twelve. I was gonna
- 27:27Speaker 1: do minimum fifty pieces to go with a couple of
- 27:30Speaker 1: catfish fil a. We're gonna have a wing shortage if
- 27:33Speaker 1: you keep doing that. We had that before, we'll run out.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And we.
- 27:40Speaker 5: See we have watched soccer all summer.
- 27:42Speaker 1: If you don't think I'm dropping minimum towelve pieces, yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 1: I got me messed. And the soccer fans didn't eat
- 27:47Speaker 1: wings like they drank a lot of beer. Drink a
- 27:50Speaker 1: lot of beer. But we got that covered too, So yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I don't think that craze was something that they necessarily.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I would like to see who consumes is the most,
- 28:00Speaker 1: like sauce. I imagine America is a big sauce country
- 28:05Speaker 1: based different in other countries that I've traveled to, which
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm not like some world traveler, but I'm saying a
- 28:12Speaker 1: couple of places I can say I've been it wasn't
- 28:15Speaker 1: like a lot of condiments on the table. Yeah, I've
- 28:18Speaker 1: traveled extensively. And they see that as sort of offensive
- 28:21Speaker 1: to the food, like you're you're smothering the actual taste
- 28:25Speaker 1: of the food. For the honey mustard. They don't even
- 28:28Speaker 1: exist real even when you go even if you're hear
- 28:31Speaker 1: and you go to what and like an authentic Mexican restaurant,
- 28:35Speaker 1: they ain't got no you better put it in your pocket. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: bring it in you. They don't even know what can
- 28:42Speaker 1: I get something? Contesteauce? And they're hot, Their mouth is hot,
- 28:51Speaker 1: they mile is you're hot because I've had, you know,
- 28:55Speaker 1: not have anything on it because you you told me,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you know how you look at the little salt and
- 29:00Speaker 1: you don't mind. Yeah, you can have no, man, this
- 29:02Speaker 1: thing is like tabasco.
- 29:04Speaker 8: My nose is running, my foreheaded sweating, and you say
- 29:08Speaker 8: that's your Do you call that the whippie sawce?
- 29:11Speaker 7: Go ahead, sir, You look like I was gonna agree
- 29:14Speaker 7: with my twin, our friend in New York. He said
- 29:17Speaker 7: something about the preseason football online Kenny Kins.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I thought it was I have to agree with him.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Then he got it. No, you have it.
- 29:27Speaker 7: Okay, what's saying you read, don't you, sir? What's sad
- 29:31Speaker 7: is the betting lines on a fake game. Shaking your
- 29:34Speaker 7: shaking my head. You're being betting on preseason football. That's
- 29:38Speaker 7: amazing issue. I have to agree with him on that
- 29:40Speaker 7: because it's preseason football and you're out here dropping money
- 29:44Speaker 7: on it.
- 29:45Speaker 8: Wait now, wait now. But I don't don't sound judgmental
- 29:48Speaker 8: on some Uh. I'm a better gambler than I'm a
- 29:51Speaker 8: more more gambler than you. I don't start my gambling
- 29:55Speaker 8: to the real seasons. Either way, you go and you're
- 29:57Speaker 8: throwing money after u.
- 30:00Speaker 7: But at least you know that they're playing who they
- 30:03Speaker 7: need to play, who's supposed to put.
- 30:06Speaker 1: But if gambling is your occupation, and the way we
- 30:10Speaker 1: have sold gambling in our country, you have to imagine
- 30:14Speaker 1: there are some people who actually would have to put
- 30:17Speaker 1: that on their resume. Then they twenty four seven through
- 30:22Speaker 1: sixty five. They gamble, that's how they actually But it's real.
- 30:26Speaker 7: You're out there though I mean it's baseball, it's some
- 30:29Speaker 7: other We just mean I agree with and.
- 30:32Speaker 8: For me, bad producer. When you start saying it's real action,
- 30:36Speaker 8: those are the people who just gonna gamble, regardless they
- 30:40Speaker 8: might not gamble here to get there.
- 30:43Speaker 1: So and I'm saying a lot of people say that
- 30:45Speaker 1: that's an issue in our country. Is that drive I've
- 30:50Speaker 1: got to bet on something. I need to gamble. I
- 30:53Speaker 1: need to gamble because but plenty of people watch sports.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I will never place anything. I'd rather do a parlay
- 30:58Speaker 1: on baseball or or w n b A then do it.
- 31:02Speaker 1: But I think you didn't hear what I said. If
- 31:04Speaker 1: gambling is my occupation, then that's what I do. Bad producer.
- 31:10Speaker 7: I understand if I'm agree this is a fake Like
- 31:13Speaker 7: you you don't like preseason football, you don't watch it.
- 31:16Speaker 1: You just say I don't like gambling. He said, you said,
- 31:18Speaker 1: don't don't get Don't you miss that part where I
- 31:21Speaker 1: just said I don't like gambling. You know you don't.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I already know that you don't like gambling.
- 31:26Speaker 27: We know.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So I'm just agreeing that.
- 31:31Speaker 7: There's enough real action that you don't have to put
- 31:35Speaker 7: your money if you got an addiction.
- 31:37Speaker 1: But to a gambler that's doing it as an occupation,
- 31:41Speaker 1: all games are gambling, and they wouldn't have they wouldn't
- 31:45Speaker 1: have a line on it.
- 31:46Speaker 8: You just said, if you have an addiction, are you
- 31:49Speaker 8: really trying to encourage people with an addiction on ways
- 31:53Speaker 8: to exercise that? Because when we think about addiction, we
- 31:57Speaker 8: have to think about it, and it's established reality is
- 32:00Speaker 8: something that you have no control over. And people who
- 32:03Speaker 8: have gambling problems shouldn't be betting at all preseason or otherwise.
- 32:08Speaker 1: But you're saying, no, don't waste your money on the preseason,
- 32:13Speaker 1: go blow your money at the crap table. Is still
- 32:19Speaker 1: get up all on baseball or w n b A
- 32:21Speaker 1: or get their counseling or betting. But if you can't
- 32:26Speaker 1: stop or since this is my occupation, I bet on
- 32:29Speaker 1: all of them, all of them all the time.
- 32:32Speaker 5: I bet in the Little League World Series. There are
- 32:34Speaker 5: some people that they they're just criminals.
- 32:37Speaker 1: They're if there's a line again, you're looking at.
- 32:44Speaker 7: The casual or I'm looking at it.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I'm fixated on just this. There are some people who
- 32:52Speaker 1: some criminals, they don't have a specialty in crime. They
- 32:55Speaker 1: just looking for opportunities to commit crimes. Whatever I can
- 32:58Speaker 1: do to steal rob scam, I'm gonna do that. And
- 33:02Speaker 1: some people who bet will bet on a race two
- 33:05Speaker 1: people out in the parking lot.
- 33:07Speaker 8: Man, I bet he faster than him. I bet you
- 33:09Speaker 8: fifty dollars he not, And they'll bet. And what I'm
- 33:11Speaker 8: trying to say is preseason or not. If you are
- 33:16Speaker 8: so compelled to bet that you are trying to not
- 33:19Speaker 8: bet here but bet there, but gonna bet somewhere. That
- 33:23Speaker 8: seems like that's gotten out of hand of me.
- 33:25Speaker 1: All I'm offering you as a thought, not as the
- 33:27Speaker 1: true reason, because I'm not a gambler. I would imagine
- 33:30Speaker 1: as I said, then, gambling for some people as an
- 33:35Speaker 1: occupation is no different than a stockbroker. That's how they
- 33:40Speaker 1: wake up. They run everything through how they might be
- 33:43Speaker 1: able to make a dollar. They don't care whether it's real.
- 33:45Speaker 1: If you put a line on it, they willing to
- 33:48Speaker 1: bet on it no matter what it is. The things
- 33:55Speaker 1: that we just turn it on coin a coin hole tournament,
- 34:00Speaker 1: trying to make money. They got they care. They don't
- 34:02Speaker 1: have no dog in this fight other than making money.
- 34:05Speaker 8: They got platforms now where you can bet on the
- 34:07Speaker 8: odds of a bet.
- 34:11Speaker 1: He placed the bet tonight that Carson Beck goes six
- 34:14Speaker 1: or ten. Now that's what I just see it as money.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I don't care whether the game was fake. I'm willing
- 34:21Speaker 1: to gamble he goes six or ten tonight.
- 34:25Speaker 5: I ain't no winning lost.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't mind even a Carson Beck.
- 34:28Speaker 5: And I think he don't even throw ten passes.
- 34:31Speaker 1: He won't bet. And I'm saying, exactly, you can bet
- 34:35Speaker 1: that he won't even take ten packs. Exactly how much
- 34:38Speaker 1: we left talking about Angel Reese and her lying about
- 34:44Speaker 1: what it is. Users just wanted to make sure. In
- 34:48Speaker 1: nineteen sixty eight, a black character named Christie was introduced
- 34:52Speaker 1: to the Barbie world. That was the first Barbie of color.
- 34:57Speaker 1: The first doll officially named black Barbie was produced in
- 35:03Speaker 1: nineteen eighty, but Anger Reese went to her conference about
- 35:08Speaker 1: releasing her doll and says that she didn't play with
- 35:12Speaker 1: Barbie's because well, she didn't play with dolls or Barbie's
- 35:18Speaker 1: a lot because they didn't make them in color. But
- 35:22Speaker 1: Barbie seems to have made a lot of dolls of color.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I would imagine Barbie as a company will make you
- 35:30Speaker 1: a doll and.
- 35:32Speaker 5: They Dennis Rodman, Barbie.
- 35:34Speaker 8: I'm sure can we get some can we get some
- 35:38Speaker 8: old slave music? Because I can hear her in her
- 35:40Speaker 8: interview right now, Nalsa, I've never played no Bobby because
- 35:46Speaker 8: when Na's young, Knay's not make them looks like us.
- 35:50Speaker 1: And I said the victim world because as great as
- 35:56Speaker 1: Anger Reese is, she plays the victim role her career
- 36:05Speaker 1: of attention and as though someone has she stay focused on,
- 36:12Speaker 1: she seems to always vibe from that feel sorry for
- 36:17Speaker 1: me for some reason, as though opportunities haven't just fallen
- 36:23Speaker 1: in her lap. Some of that colmes that since she's
- 36:27Speaker 1: not a score, I believe you got that. You get
- 36:32Speaker 1: that feeling from someone like just recently signed Dylan Brooks,
- 36:37Speaker 1: or you get that sign from a Draymond Green for
- 36:41Speaker 1: a while when he wasn't getting the attention that I'm
- 36:45Speaker 1: going to sell this storyline. And everybody seems to have this,
- 36:50Speaker 1: Oh y'all holding Angel down? No Angel plays power forward.
- 36:55Speaker 1: She's not an offensive machine. Sadly, some of her work
- 36:59Speaker 1: on the court gets overlooked because we pay more attention
- 37:04Speaker 1: to scores in our society. Is that not yea a
- 37:08Speaker 1: guy that can score we start deeming now we don't
- 37:11Speaker 1: really care what her self. Curry does anything else he
- 37:16Speaker 1: can score, so people have him as the top guard,
- 37:20Speaker 1: so they ask him questions about anything, anything. They're always
- 37:23Speaker 1: asking him stop. So with this Barbie Doll, I just
- 37:27Speaker 1: wish maybe she needs to I don't know if her
- 37:30Speaker 1: pr people who's working that angle, but they if she's
- 37:34Speaker 1: gonna ride this wave of fame and she's only twenty four,
- 37:38Speaker 1: that's great pointing out so she's gonna need a little
- 37:42Speaker 1: more tutelage.
- 37:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I was gonna say she needs some grooming as somebody
- 37:50Speaker 1: should have given her as she builds her coach, as
- 37:53Speaker 1: she builds her empire.
- 37:54Speaker 7: Yeah, congratulations of target is sold out, so they're out
- 37:58Speaker 7: of stop.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Well at thirty four, we didn't put and you're doing
- 38:01Speaker 1: the thing I'm talking about when I say victimized Angel Reese.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I just called her great. I just said she was underappreciated,
- 38:09Speaker 1: And you're gonna go keep finding details and talk to
- 38:12Speaker 1: us in a way that you're making it seem like
- 38:15Speaker 1: the three of us are putting her down. Aha, And
- 38:18Speaker 1: we all we're questioning is why did she say that?
- 38:23Speaker 1: And how detrimental it can be that does not mean
- 38:28Speaker 1: that because she sold out out ways, because that's what
- 38:33Speaker 1: she used to sell out. Victimization. Go buy my doll
- 38:38Speaker 1: because I've been victimized and.
- 38:40Speaker 6: I was.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Is it targeting? I thought we wasn't shopping it. I'm
- 38:44Speaker 1: saying Barbie doesn't want that. We'll be back more to

- 41:21Speaker 2: Between between a lock on so you can see the
- 41:34Speaker 2: sports joint I'll sing even very cany welcome back to
- 41:40Speaker 2: this what Shock Show.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I'm the Wortshock Wayne cand Good morning to you out
- 41:44Speaker 1: there in listening land. For you Chiefs fans, relax. They
- 41:49Speaker 1: say they're gonna name the new stadium Arrowhead as well.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I don't know how that works. It's not Errolhead, but
- 41:57Speaker 1: I guess it's Arrowhead two point zero. When they go
- 42:00Speaker 1: into their new confines up in Kansas City. Remember they
- 42:04Speaker 1: have move locations. Basically, they're staying in Kansas City. Excuse me,
- 42:10Speaker 1: they're staying in Kansas City. The new stadium, No, the
- 42:12Speaker 1: new stadium is in actual Kansas, Kansas. They're they're keeping
- 42:18Speaker 1: the Kansas City Chiefs name, uh and naming the stadium Arrowhead,
- 42:22Speaker 1: even though it's not the Arrowhead we've all loved all
- 42:26Speaker 1: these years. So but it will be arrow Head. A
- 42:31Speaker 1: big controversy here since we last were on. Guys have
- 42:36Speaker 1: centered once again around the w n B A and
- 42:40Speaker 1: it brings up an old store that we have been
- 42:43Speaker 1: carrying through the new cycle, and that is transgender and
- 42:48Speaker 1: whether they belong in women's sports, whether you're on one
- 42:54Speaker 1: side or the other. To mean, the fascination is just
- 42:59Speaker 1: how volatile each side sees their way. We see this
- 43:06Speaker 1: in so much in our society now that one side
- 43:12Speaker 1: almost blindly can't embrace the other person's thought process. And
- 43:19Speaker 1: this one I can't see how we need to have
- 43:24Speaker 1: a war. You ask Sophie Conningham or the Indiana Fever
- 43:29Speaker 1: a question about transgender her statement is basically that she
- 43:37Speaker 1: would prefer that transgender not play in the w n BA.
- 43:43Speaker 1: And from there we have roped in Meghan Kelly, We
- 43:48Speaker 1: have roped in the Seattle Storms, Mynority owner who got
- 43:56Speaker 1: suspended five games. I have to find her name here
- 43:59Speaker 1: real quickly. With the Minnesota Links head coach Cheryl Reeves
- 44:04Speaker 1: even wearing a T shirt in a game a couple
- 44:09Speaker 1: of days ago that trans kids belong, and so on
- 44:15Speaker 1: and so forth. We've seen JD Vance, All kinds of
- 44:19Speaker 1: people have weighed in on something you would think first
- 44:23Speaker 1: and foremost, the league could quiet the w NBA by
- 44:33Speaker 1: just instituting a law similar to what we see Women's
- 44:39Speaker 1: Tennis Association the WTA is starting to move to. They're
- 44:43Speaker 1: going to do a one time testing and in your
- 44:49Speaker 1: test either if you were born a male, you can't
- 44:54Speaker 1: play on the w TWA. That's how they're just going
- 44:59Speaker 1: to go by and the WNBA and even reports there's
- 45:05Speaker 1: a French transgender player named Julie Tetard. She's thirty four
- 45:11Speaker 1: years old. She led the league she was in last
- 45:15Speaker 1: year twenty one points, twenty rebounds a game six three.
- 45:25Speaker 1: It seems simple, guys that if you were born a male,
- 45:30Speaker 1: you shouldn't be allowed to play in the WNBA from
- 45:35Speaker 1: Sophie's Cunningham. But why would there be any outrage for
- 45:42Speaker 1: Sophie taking that stand as a woman in the WNBA.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Why is it so much? Why are you almost like
- 45:49Speaker 1: handling it like you're shocked that would be something that
- 45:53Speaker 1: a woman in the w NBA would stand on.
- 45:59Speaker 8: I'm not shot and I hate to ask answer a
- 46:03Speaker 8: question with a question, But how come nobody is talking
- 46:06Speaker 8: about Leisia Renee Clarendon, who played eleven years from twenty
- 46:11Speaker 8: thirteen to twenty twenty four in a WNBA, and it's
- 46:14Speaker 8: a transgender and the first active WNBA player to have
- 46:23Speaker 8: top surgery.
- 46:25Speaker 1: So not only.
- 46:26Speaker 8: Was born genetically a male, but went through the transition.
- 46:31Speaker 9: No, no, no, she's oring genetically a female man and
- 46:36Speaker 9: had transman.
- 46:39Speaker 1: To transgender into a man. Yes, so is that different
- 46:44Speaker 1: she's taking that's different? They say that's different. Well from
- 46:48Speaker 1: the standpoint that that Sophie Cunningham is saying that if
- 46:51Speaker 1: you're born a maletically a male.
- 46:54Speaker 8: Which it's called Women's National Basketball Association, it's called the
- 47:00Speaker 8: Women's h LPG, the Ladies Professional Golf Associate, it's got
- 47:08Speaker 8: the gender inserted in the name.
- 47:10Speaker 7: And why are.
- 47:12Speaker 8: We And it's my honest opinion that the first time
- 47:18Speaker 8: somebody gave in, we knew this was coming. That at
- 47:22Speaker 8: some point you were going to have to justify why
- 47:24Speaker 8: men couldn't play against women. And it's because men traditionally
- 47:29Speaker 8: have never played and competed against women.
- 47:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and and and it's also called uh.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Mixed doubles. When you talk about tennis, they called it
- 47:41Speaker 1: that mix and double. And it's rarely ever in contact sports,
- 47:47Speaker 1: correct and and and rarely outside of tennis, something that
- 47:52Speaker 1: we do in professional sporting events. You might have a
- 47:57Speaker 1: mixed doubles golf or tennis, but outside to see so
- 48:03Speaker 1: it's limited to tennis.
- 48:04Speaker 5: Is it not anything else we've seen?
- 48:08Speaker 1: I want to say, was it UFC? We covered a
- 48:10Speaker 1: story here a couple of years ago where the gentleman
- 48:15Speaker 1: was transitioning to a woman and a lot of the
- 48:17Speaker 1: women would not.
- 48:18Speaker 8: Would not fight in that story because didn't she knock
- 48:23Speaker 8: somebody out like horribly And they were like, nah, we
- 48:26Speaker 8: ain't going for that no more. So, Yeah, we've seen
- 48:29Speaker 8: it before. We seen mac baggs.
- 48:33Speaker 1: She was transitioning to a male but was taking male
- 48:38Speaker 1: hormones which bulked her up. We'll be back transgender in
- 48:43Speaker 1: the w n b A. It has been in the
- 48:46Speaker 1: news cycle and as I said, all kinds of names
- 48:49Speaker 1: have been pulled into this over the last couple of
- 48:52Speaker 1: weeks and controversy each and every time the Fever have
- 48:57Speaker 1: taken the court here in the last couple of games,
- 49:00Speaker 1: with people bringing signs in or protests one way or
- 49:05Speaker 1: the other outside of the stadiums. Will be back more
- 49:08Speaker 1: to Sports Shop show right after.
- 49:09Speaker 30: This reason why a first lace even going up at
- 49:13Speaker 30: show Space dot Car and The Man.
- 49:21Speaker 13: Don't Go Away Bore of the Sports Josh Show, with
- 49:24Speaker 13: Wayne Gandidias coming up next.
- 49:27Speaker 30: You wanted to be cool, which led you to smoking,
- 49:31Speaker 30: which led to a pack a day. Then you met
- 49:34Speaker 30: that special someone, which led to starting a life with them,
- 49:38Speaker 30: which led to wanting to live longer, which led to quitting.
- 49:42Speaker 30: Then you heard you maybe at risk for lung cancer,
- 49:45Speaker 30: which led you to getting a low dose CT scan
- 49:48Speaker 30: if you smoked, get scanned, talk to your doctor and
- 49:51Speaker 30: learn more at Saved by the Scan dot org, brought
- 49:55Speaker 30: to you by the American Lung Association and the AD Council.
- 50:02Speaker 14: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 50:05Speaker 14: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 50:09Speaker 14: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 50:12Speaker 14: life insurance.
- 50:13Speaker 31: When I was twenty five, me and my wife are
- 50:15Speaker 31: just getting started with our family, and thought we live
- 50:17Speaker 31: forever life insurance.
- 50:18Speaker 5: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 50:20Speaker 15: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 50:23Speaker 31: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 50:25Speaker 31: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 50:27Speaker 31: survive without me? That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 50:29Speaker 31: the insurance informant.
- 50:30Speaker 14: Information gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family
- 50:33Speaker 14: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 50:35Speaker 31: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 50:38Speaker 31: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 50:40Speaker 1: The answer is easy.
- 50:41Speaker 15: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 50:43Speaker 15: little or a lot, All you need.
- 50:45Speaker 14: Is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation
- 50:48Speaker 14: of security, because without you, your family will have two options,
- 50:51Speaker 14: benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind? Log
- 50:56Speaker 14: on today Benefits orbills dot com. That's benefits or bills
- 51:00Speaker 14: dot com.
- 51:03Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy.
- 51:08Speaker 12: Center Court on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Welcome back to this sport Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 51:42Speaker 1: Wayne Candy, the bad Producer, Big Kennedy, the funny man himself.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Command you Greg all in the building today. Good morning
- 51:49Speaker 1: to you on this beautiful Thursday. As we move into
- 51:53Speaker 1: the first preseason game tonight, Hall of Fame game with
- 51:57Speaker 1: Carolina taking on Arizona at eight pm on NBC. We
- 52:03Speaker 1: love talking about what has been surrounding the WNBA with
- 52:09Speaker 1: Sophie Coningham's comments and the reaction around the sports world
- 52:14Speaker 1: on all levels from politicians to team owners to the media,
- 52:23Speaker 1: where someone like mellan excuse me, Megan Kelly, when is
- 52:27Speaker 1: far to call Caitlyn Clark a coward from not picking
- 52:34Speaker 1: a side. We see that a lot, where people seem
- 52:42Speaker 1: to believe that known, notable, famous people are required to
- 52:54Speaker 1: have that old expression of dog in this fight. Why
- 53:00Speaker 1: does Megan Kelly feel so comfortable to be able to
- 53:06Speaker 1: extend that kind of phrase towards Caitlyn Clark Because basically,
- 53:10Speaker 1: Claitland Clark wants to stay out of something that she
- 53:13Speaker 1: didn't create. This is not this isn't my storyline. Megan
- 53:19Speaker 1: Kelly willing is willing to say stuff like that about
- 53:21Speaker 1: Kaitlyn Clark because Kitlon Clark ain't willing to stand him
- 53:23Speaker 1: and go, don't catch these hands, Megan, watch your mouth,
- 53:27Speaker 1: keep me out your mouth. And then people will be like,
- 53:30Speaker 1: I can't believe she's not willing to be a champion.
- 53:33Speaker 1: These people ain't got nothing to do with me. When
- 53:36Speaker 1: I woke up this morning, I don't know no transgender
- 53:39Speaker 1: people ain't I ain't never.
- 53:40Speaker 8: Played against them. I don't know none, don't none live
- 53:44Speaker 8: near me. I just don't know them.
- 53:46Speaker 1: And no, you know them, we know them. You don't
- 53:48Speaker 1: even know Sophie cutting Air. You know him, I don't.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I don't know sob cutting around her. I don't know
- 53:56Speaker 1: nobody she run with. I don't know nobody. The only
- 53:58Speaker 1: way I know Sophie cut Ham it's because we both
- 54:01Speaker 1: play basketball. And now you're asking me about when I
- 54:04Speaker 1: woke up this morning, that's what I saw on the
- 54:09Speaker 1: same team. Y'all both play for Indiana Boy. I graduated
- 54:14Speaker 1: for two d and twenty three other people. I don't
- 54:19Speaker 1: know to me either. I'm just saying what people are
- 54:22Speaker 1: so determined to make you care about what they care about.
- 54:26Speaker 7: It goes back to when when they asked Michael Jordan
- 54:29Speaker 7: that time me say, hey, Republicans by Jordan's And so
- 54:32Speaker 7: Caitlyn is in this situation where she's getting her moment
- 54:37Speaker 7: where they won't because majority of her fan base they
- 54:41Speaker 7: are that the people that don't want those transgenders into sports.
- 54:46Speaker 1: So hold on, how do you know that? Now? Now,
- 54:50Speaker 1: now you're now you quantifying her fan base fan base
- 54:54Speaker 1: through your leans because you're basing it on the demographic
- 54:59Speaker 1: and the GF. What I'm saying, you're doing something that
- 55:02Speaker 1: a lot of people are known to do now where
- 55:04Speaker 1: they start stereotyping their stereotype. Stereotype. That's what that's called.
- 55:10Speaker 5: That's what that's called. That's what that's called.
- 55:12Speaker 1: You decided that Caitlyn Clark's fan base, you stereotype them
- 55:16Speaker 1: to believe that they are against transgender and based on
- 55:20Speaker 1: the fact, again, based on that they Caitland Clark's fan base.
- 55:23Speaker 5: And right, and because of their geographic location.
- 55:26Speaker 1: No, then what did you base it on? You can
- 55:30Speaker 1: see the fans at the game, and majority of the.
- 55:33Speaker 8: Ones their geographical location and her fans and one their nationality.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Caitlyn go, Caitlyn, go Caitlyn.
- 55:41Speaker 5: What does that?
- 55:42Speaker 1: What does that mean? That mean?
- 55:43Speaker 5: Other than Caitlyn go Caitlyn. That's fan But.
- 55:47Speaker 7: Every found what I'm saying is there, this is a
- 55:50Speaker 7: good time to me, it's a good time for n
- 55:53Speaker 7: W A b A to get on this because of
- 55:55Speaker 7: the all the fans that are coming in now supporting.
- 56:02Speaker 5: With which side are you taking from?
- 56:04Speaker 7: I'm talking the side of that they shouldn't be allowed
- 56:08Speaker 7: to play. And this has been a ongoing situation within
- 56:12Speaker 7: the w NBA.
- 56:13Speaker 1: They've had a marketing hold on.
- 56:15Speaker 7: They had at one point in time before Caitlyn, they
- 56:19Speaker 7: had a marketing problem.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Hold on. Let's slow down, bad producer. Okay, remember that
- 56:24Speaker 1: Caitlyn Clark did not interject this into society. I know
- 56:30Speaker 1: she didn't, but you keep talking about it from her standpoint.
- 56:34Speaker 1: You need to talk about it from so so.
- 56:36Speaker 8: Sophie Conninghams and making Kelly the questions. He just asked,
- 56:40Speaker 8: why would make and Kelly try and drag Caitlyn?
- 56:45Speaker 7: I know she didn't say, but here's the thing here.
- 56:48Speaker 7: We've talked about the problem with the w NBA. You
- 56:52Speaker 7: got that stereo type of let it's a league of
- 56:58Speaker 7: LBGT we're for this and this and that, and they're
- 57:02Speaker 7: trying to get away from that stickma.
- 57:04Speaker 8: And they're saying, and you're saying that they should use
- 57:06Speaker 8: Caitlyn Clark as the anti lgbt Q said you just
- 57:12Speaker 8: say her people are against it and this is a
- 57:15Speaker 8: perfect time for them to jump on with the w
- 57:18Speaker 8: n B A.
- 57:18Speaker 1: And that's Caitlyn Clark's point. Ain't none of this got
- 57:21Speaker 1: deadly squat to do with me. Stop using me for
- 57:25Speaker 1: your purpose. She ain't probably got no problem with them
- 57:27Speaker 1: selling the reason why she for the same team. This
- 57:31Speaker 1: is what I'm confused. I'm not against you Baptists. I'm
- 57:35Speaker 1: trying to figure out what does one thing. I was
- 57:39Speaker 1: just playing basketball one day and selling jerseys. You seem
- 57:45Speaker 1: to have decided that any and everything I do. You're
- 57:48Speaker 1: talking about somebody. We were talking about Angel Rees being
- 57:51Speaker 1: a victim. When you start acting what victimization is. It's
- 57:56Speaker 1: what we do to Caitland Clark. She goes to whatever
- 58:02Speaker 1: concert of music she likes. She's wrong. I just like
- 58:08Speaker 1: the artist. She goes to the wrong eatery. She don't
- 58:15Speaker 1: take a stance. She's wrong.
- 58:18Speaker 5: I just wanted some time.
- 58:19Speaker 1: We don't even know what Caitlyn Clark does in her
- 58:23Speaker 1: private in her private life, we shouldn't know. That's not
- 58:27Speaker 1: don't know who we were to her. We don't know what,
- 58:30Speaker 1: how and what people. It's going to frame her up
- 58:34Speaker 1: to be in some kind of prejudice. But if you
- 58:38Speaker 1: go back, if you go back to her storyline, she
- 58:42Speaker 1: said she grew up wanting to be Maya Moore. So
- 58:48Speaker 1: how did I end up on the other side? I
- 58:50Speaker 1: was actually looking at Maya Moore last time I checked,
- 58:52Speaker 1: Maya Moore was a African American black, whatever you want
- 58:58Speaker 1: to call it.
- 59:00Speaker 8: And since we're so fond of quoting people from our
- 59:03Speaker 8: online listeners. The same listener that asked that made the
- 59:07Speaker 8: comment about it being sad that you're betting on preseason
- 59:11Speaker 8: football that the bad producer was so glad to engage
- 59:14Speaker 8: in just said, don't let him talk his way around
- 59:18Speaker 8: answering the question.
- 59:19Speaker 5: He stereotyped her fans.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Sports stereotyped people on some racist stuff. That's why you
- 59:29Speaker 1: did it.
- 59:43Speaker 13: John't Boy, Wayne Bore of the Sports Johnshaw with Wayne
- 59:46Speaker 13: Gandy is coming up next.
- 59:48Speaker 27: I ever tried balancing a dozen eggs in one hand,
- 59:51Speaker 27: or hopping on one foot, or maybe juggling cats while
- 59:54Speaker 27: writing The unicycle sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what, That's
- 59:58Speaker 27: exactly what texting will driving is like. Your human brain
- 1:00:01Speaker 27: only has the capacity to focus on one thing at
- 1:00:04Speaker 27: a time, So when you're behind the wheel, give driving
- 1:00:06Speaker 27: your undivided attention.
- 1:00:08Speaker 32: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:00:11Speaker 32: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:00:15Speaker 32: AD Council.
- 1:00:19Speaker 33: I actually dropped better when I'm high.
- 1:00:21Speaker 15: If anything, I'm more careful.
- 1:00:23Speaker 33: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 1:00:25Speaker 33: old told himself, and now he's in prison. If you
- 1:00:28Speaker 33: feel different, you drive different, don't drive high. Brought to
- 1:00:31Speaker 33: you by NITZA and the AD Council.
- 1:00:34Speaker 34: You said you'd never buy your kid candy from the
- 1:00:36Speaker 34: checkout aisle, or forget extra diapers, and never give into
- 1:00:42Speaker 34: a meltdown. You'd never lick your thumb to clean their face,
- 1:00:49Speaker 34: never let them have too much green time, and never
- 1:00:53Speaker 34: bribe them for just one more bite. You say you'd
- 1:00:58Speaker 34: never let them out blick without their hair brush, never
- 1:01:03Speaker 34: ever become a minivan mom, and you'd never give them
- 1:01:07Speaker 34: your phone for a quiet dinner calling boss work phone.
- 1:01:12Speaker 34: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 1:01:14Speaker 34: a hot car, no, it can happen. Cars get hot fast,
- 1:01:20Speaker 34: and kids can be at risk in temperatures as low
- 1:01:23Speaker 34: as sixty degrees fahrenheit.
- 1:01:26Speaker 15: Never happens before.
- 1:01:28Speaker 18: You leave the car.
- 1:01:28Speaker 34: Always stop, Look luck. Brought to you by NITZA and
- 1:01:32Speaker 34: the AD Council.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Enough I had it, why so serious? And we hold
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: the world ransom for.
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: Excuse me?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: While I whipped this house broadcasting live and it led
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: it to a jaze this this is a sports ship
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: with Wayne Dainty.
- 1:01:57Speaker 15: You may.
- 1:02:04Speaker 23: So far.
- 1:02:06Speaker 14: Comes to mine.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: I'm up do Yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 1:02:14Speaker 18: On the way.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You welcome back to this what Shock show. I'm the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Sports Shock Wayne Gandye. If you missed that first hour,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: don't worry. We're gonna continue on it in this second hour.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: But good morning to you out there and listening. Land.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Glad to be here with you. I love these days
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: when we missed the show or two guys come back
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: with that energy that you need of putting on a
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: great show and giving great ideas and thoughts and the
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: diversity of our society. It's on display, uh this morning.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: In that first hour, once again, I will let you know.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: The Hall of Fame game is tonight between Arizona and Carolina,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Up and Canton. We did know that Larry Fitzgerald and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Luke Keickley are two of the Hall of Famers to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: be inducted this weekend. A couple of years ago, they
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: moved the Hall of Fame game in front of the induction.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: It used to be after the induction. Then they moved
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: it and they I think it probably was more of
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: adding the tennis state well letting the teams get on
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and go ahead on with their business of going back
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: to training camp than just sitting around waiting to cheer
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: on two people that neither played for any of the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: people that's even there. Nobody was playing with Duke Keikley.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: All those players are gone when he was in when
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Carolina uniform. But we left off talking about the w NBA.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: We left off talking about the bad producer, not realizing
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: he just stereotyped the whole fan base and something that
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Caitlin Clark, as I said, as victimized as she has
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: been by that, where we decided that the fans of
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: her only exist in a state of white supremacy, a
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Republican mindset totally based on stereotype. Nothing else. I haven't
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: read anything where Caitlin Clark asked said anything about her
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: political party. I don't see her doing anything but playing
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: basketball in the Midwest and a school that beloved her
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: so much they decided they were going to go everywhere
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: with her. But whatever their thirst is, they were going
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: to caravan with her player no matter what, they still
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: are on the Caitlyn Clark buss. Now we don't know who,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: but the bad producer decided that everything that they are
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: must be against transgender. We do not know that, and
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: we're not going to promote that. When you see the
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: bad producer asking for how our society works, the bad
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: producer has to love a black athlete, he has to
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: hate a white athlete, and he's a democrat. That's the
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: stereotype from just looking over at him. Gotta be, must be.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: And he listened to rap music, he has to only
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: only Oh God, got to new stuff, got him, got
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a new stuff. Yeah, got a felony minimum on his
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: behind in his taxes. But I ain't judged because well
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: we all got and the dude saying, you need to
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: call us things spam and that's how back and that's
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: how he framed up. Do y'all, do y'all do you
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: know the demographic?
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: Because they do studies now for the audience demographics or
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: fans and who projected even like with the business we're in,
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: there's a particular demographic that we should be talking to.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: A sports music has a particular demographic and everything else,
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: but there is a particular demographic that that's her fan base.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Sir and more. And now the same people that gather
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: those statistics and that data to qualify and quantify. Are
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: the same people that give five star rankings.
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: To that because.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna let you do. You also the
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: demo you ain't, sir. I understand you like to play
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: that role, but you stereotype those you stereotyped.
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: Period.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Hold on, don't, don't, let's not, let's not do that.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: What I'm saying is, I'm just making sure you walk
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: away from this understanding that you stereotyped, because you're over
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: there shaking your head and thinking that you can introduce
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: some data that will allow you not to have stereotyped.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: And we do that, and we have done that, Caitlin Clark,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: we do it with her, We do it with Angel
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Rees that her her fans are of a certain mindset
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: and of a sullen color and gender and all that.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: But you did that flat out and people and we
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: were talking about Kelfy Cunning.
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: And because you, people would tell you don't know your
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: daddy because that's the stereotype and those are the statistics.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: But everybody in this room know that is the farthest
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: thing from the trup you have. You had a wonderful,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: fantastic relationship with your father. That still shapes you today,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Big hil For you to be coming in here spouting
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: statistics knowing that they don't really stand up to reality
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: is skewed. And people do it like Angel do it
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: for their attention, for their adulation, and to garner support
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: for their side. And you said something about teammates conversing
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: and this idea that in locker rooms we talked that
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: way and we get that in depth. That is not true.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I went through that with the great Michael Vick. Everybody
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: swore I knew about Michael vic dog fighting and your boy,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: your boy in trouble. You ain't gonna go to none
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: of the fights. What are he in trouble for?
- 1:09:04Speaker 22: Oh?
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: Look at he.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: He gonna keep it. Boy, he gonna bump for I see.
- 1:09:08Speaker 35: You know it?
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Same for you boy. You know he got the dog fight.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I bet you you ever buy one of his dogs.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: They got Mike for dogfight? Man, Come on, man, I'm
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: saying he probably keeps some of them dogs at your house.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: You'd have been up there? Would it look like? In
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: real life? I didn't know anything about Mike.
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: Oh he lied.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Look at it, lie, bro Todd got to be like that,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Todd told me that Mike. Uh, there's a big dog lover.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Like if you go to Mike house, he got like
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: six seven dogs running around and they keep dog. He's
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: a he loved dog. Yeah, he said he was fighting him.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Who told you that room? FBI they't raided his place.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: That's a rumor, man, that's fake. Man, that's show boy.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: You know he out.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: You knew that. That's fake. You knew that. But that's
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: how they would come at me in real life. Like
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: said I was about no dog to your teammates. You know,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: you got a notebook full of all of their.
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: All of the.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: And and and when one of them votes different than
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the rest of y'all, y'all have a team meeting. This
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: offensive lineman is a Republican and we have to change him. Yes,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: we gotta change him because all offensive linemen on this
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: team vote Democrats. So now we got to have a
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: team meeting and then we're gonna take it to the
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: head office and then they gonna do something about it,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: and then we're gonna all be Democrats. No, we made plans.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: We were all going to Stony River. That's is the stakeout.
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: I don't care about policy location because.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Keenan loved that. He loved that cowboy ribs and we
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: already sound like a Republican cowboy ribbi. Oh no, Keenan
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: from south Side Chicago. I don't think you think you
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: right with Keenan Jackson. So no great to answer your
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: question doing the break, No, we're not on. And there's
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: two or three guys that are friends, true friends, yes, uh.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: And then most guys on the team are just your teammates.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: And based on where you might find yourself, you can
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: end up. But you can have a friend I've had.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I had a friend with the Stillers. He was married
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: the whole time I knew him, and like the last
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: year we played, he said his wife was coming to
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: the Christmas far and I was like, who he was
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: trying to shooting pool and bling and all these kind
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: of things. The dude got folk kids and a wife.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I ain't nobody, he ain't never mentioned it.
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: But it's a work environment.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: And see that's what a lot of a lot of
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: people romanticized careers like that, and they imagine in those
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: careers everybody's intrinsically attached. But it's a job. And think
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: about all the people you work with. Some of them
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: you might hang out with after work. Some of them
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: you might have been cool with for a time, but
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: not all of them. Do you know like that some
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: of them have spouses that show up to a Christmas party.
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: You'd be like, Doug married. I didn't know doube. I've
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: been working with Doug for fourteen years. I never knew
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: Doug was married. So yeah, so that is called stereotype. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: and based on racism. I wanted to throw that party.
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: There was one stereotype based on racism.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: There was one name that if someone if I'm gonna listen,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Martina nav to Lofer the goat right up there. She's
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: the goat of her era. Don't don't fool yourself. There
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: was a goat before Serena Williams that nobody wanted to
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: see the smoke in the eighties and nineties. It was
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: her court. I'm gonna let you come out here and
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: lias it for a couple of hours, then I'm gonna
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: take it back. And that's how Martina was treating the
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: same Imagine what Serena doing. That's what Martina Navati lower
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: used to do. Yeah. Two opponents, like as Everett said,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I had to catch on a bad day to beat her,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: but her voice was she was in support of Sophie Cunningham.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: She's been on that for a while, trying to keep
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: transgender out of tennis. And if there was someone from
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: my knowledge of knowing her that I would put on
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: the board to make this decision, even on a global level,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: she would be that person because she was willing to
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: stake her career like a Billy Jean King in an
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: era where people used to really hold that against you,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and she was willing to lose and risk anything at
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: that time being openly about her sexuality. And she's never
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: thrown it in this kind of fame way or any
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: of that. But if whatever she I would put her
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: on one of those cabinets to make a decision, be
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: part of what would make a decision on her.
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: And she's nott the lg G B t Q. She's
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: just against genetic men, men born genetic genetically born men
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: competing against female athletes.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: That's it. You will be back more to Sports Jock
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Show right after this. Invina is not a fraud that
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: my body doing. God, yeah, that's my body. Were running

- 1:17:27Speaker 1: least in this state, you'll be able to start getting
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: a taste of high school football. The week after that,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: we will have week zero, as we talked about for
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: college football, so that's coming. It's not week zero.
- 1:17:45Speaker 9: The week one is actually two weekends.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Excuse me that, that's how I saw.
- 1:17:53Speaker 9: I'd see it's not one, A, one B. It's those
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: two weekends are are week one?

- 1:18:05Speaker 9: August twenty second, two September seventh is considered week one.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: No two weeks one is one? Hold on, now one
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: is one right alone? Now you know I would rather
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: have week zero, because that's now it's abusing. Yeah.
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: A man trying to tell me the other day it
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: was two tires, two tires, but it's three tires here.

- 1:18:29Speaker 7: it's three. But but they're two separate and one, so

- 1:22:12Speaker 1: like that.
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: It will definitely put you in an Oscar contention.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Contention. So if you come in there and need a
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: fat suit or some kind of we need to adjust
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: to make you look.
- 1:22:22Speaker 22: Then.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Don't use.
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: But they say you they say you're gonna play the
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: King Pen in twenty twenty eight, and you gain one
- 1:22:30Speaker 8: hundred and forty two pounds for King Pen, then they're like, yeah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: that's dedication.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's what the Oscar is all about. But
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: ken of the work going into the.
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: Week, we were gonna have to go with Jerry Hollowell.
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: Ginger Spice.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Okay, Ginger Spice. If you want to be my lover,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: yes I do. I do as I do. Spice girl,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: you got to bring my friends. Well, if you insist
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying, it was five spice girl, Yes, yes,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: scary spoils.
- 1:23:01Speaker 9: There was one birthday I wanted to act because we
- 1:23:03Speaker 9: didn't do a show Monday.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: You're finally about to accept your son. No, wow, And
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I hope he's not listening because the way you just
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: blatantly said, like, no, there's no I.
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: Will say it blatantly again. No, we didn't do a
- 1:23:18Speaker 9: show Monday. But uh, former well, Hall of Fame coach
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: Marv Levy is one hundred and one okay on Monday, okay,
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: world famous Marv. He would clock in on Ginger Okay.
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: I'm thinking of the Mark Bills coach. Okay, that man
- 1:23:41Speaker 7: le nine years old back when he was coaching the
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: Bill to one hundred then.
- 1:23:49Speaker 5: Yeah, but he's one hundred and three now, one hundred
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: and one.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: One hundred and one Marv Levy, which is amazing considering
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the occupation that he chose. That's true that coaches put
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: themselves in they quickly look like Moses going to the
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: mountain top. At about eighteen games, he'd be looking like
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: they'd been through real savage. But we'll be back more
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:24:35Speaker 13: Don't Go awayne board of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:24:38Speaker 13: Wayne Gandias coming up next.
- 1:24:42Speaker 35: I'm a pretty great multitasker. I can wash dishes and
- 1:24:46Speaker 35: do laundry. I can roller skate while walking my dogs.
- 1:24:50Speaker 35: I can even order lunch while doing my homework. But
- 1:24:53Speaker 35: I can't use my phone while driving. A distracted driver
- 1:24:57Speaker 35: is one of the leading causes of death in the
- 1:24:58Speaker 35: United States when it comes to driving. Please don't be
- 1:25:02Speaker 35: a multitasker.
- 1:25:03Speaker 32: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:25:06Speaker 32: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:25:09Speaker 32: AD Council.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: All right, son, time to put out this campfire.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Dad, we learned about this in school.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: Oh did you now? Okay? What's first?
- 1:25:19Speaker 27: Smokey Bear said.
- 1:25:20Speaker 36: Too, first, drown it with the bucket of water, then
- 1:25:23Speaker 36: stir it with a shovel.
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: Wow, you sound just like him.
- 1:25:27Speaker 36: Then he said, if it's still warm, then do it again.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Where can I learn all this?
- 1:25:32Speaker 36: It's all on Smokeybear dot com with other wildfire prevention tips.
- 1:25:36Speaker 36: Because only you can prevent wildfires.

- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:25:51Speaker 37: Mom's wisdom has served you well, but now it may
- 1:25:54Speaker 37: be your turn to guide her.
- 1:25:56Speaker 18: Hey, I'm worried about Mom. She keeps forgetting her famous
- 1:25:59Speaker 18: sweep at recipe.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: Some things come with it, she says, and some don't.
- 1:26:04Speaker 37: Knowing the early signs of Alzheimer's and a loved one

- 1:26:16Speaker 18: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:26:18Speaker 18: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:26:21Speaker 18: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:26:24Speaker 18: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:26:26Speaker 18: home too.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Mea where are your napkins? Not that drawer unless anyone
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: needs a gun.
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:26:36Speaker 18: I always locked my gun to keep everyone safe. Visit

- 1:26:48Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Job Wayne Gaddy.
- 1:26:53Speaker 11: Player's Lounge. I have been given full access to the
- 1:26:58Speaker 11: player's lounge on this Sports Jack show with Wayne gandhy Tray.
- 1:27:13Speaker 12: Yeah yeo yeah them mess talk so and from the.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Road money no it test. Welcome back to this one
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Shock shop. This onre Shock Wayne Kandy uh sat news
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: here for Aman Green, great running back in his time,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: especially when he was in that Packers uniform. Has now
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: said he's dealing with Parkinson disease. So our prayers go
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: out to him and his family as he goes on
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: this journey of dealing with that. And we've seen some
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: great names Muhammad al Li, Michael J. Fox, and Michael J. Fox.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Has to be thirty years since he announced he had
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Parkinson's and that same thing with Muhammad ali Is Parkinson
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: came on in his late forties.
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: Who was a comedian. Didn't a comedian have that? Also
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: Kenny Richard Pryor was he did he have parksonime? But
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: Empriar had different things. Okay he may have had not
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: have a touch of it.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: But the thing with Michael J.
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: Foxy. Have you seen I saw him. I saw him
- 1:28:29Speaker 7: lately doing some roles. Also, he hadn't stopped his career.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: There was a point where he explained that there was
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: actually an interview that he did on morning TV that
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: was widely criticized because people thought it was showing him
- 1:28:48Speaker 8: in a bad light, but he chose to do it
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: at that time to explain that the medicine prevents the tremors,
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: but it takes time to kick in, and so this's
- 1:28:58Speaker 8: what it looks like before the medicine actually starts to
- 1:29:02Speaker 8: take effect. And a lot of people were disturbed by
- 1:29:05Speaker 8: that visual, but that's just the reality of Parkings.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: And it reduced him to being able to be just
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: do small parks. Remember he was a leading man, and
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: that was the issue. He could no longer focus and
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: stay in a roll long enough to shoot a movie,
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: so he just would do a little bit, maybe an
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: episode for this show or a little in and out
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: because of the Parkinson's plexico burrs Wow. Compare Playing for
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: the Jets, the JTS, Jets, Jets Jets to Prison Lifeast
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: from the Past, No pun intended. Green up there, but
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: tell us why sports job he says the feeling like
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: a loser kind of vibe. I guess of the Jets organization,
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: I guess how they function. I've never been I've had
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: a couple of friends that play for them. But the
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: Jets still are like the Clippers. They still have this
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: sense of the step brother to their city. Right, you know,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: you have the Giants and the Jets, you have the Lakers,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: and then the Clippers. No matter what the Clippers have done,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: no matter how many brand names they bring you, they
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: just slipper. They still just have they're kind of regulated
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: to the other team. But the city, any of the
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: examples of that. Well, but how the Chicago to the
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: how the White Sox to the Cubs.
- 1:30:43Speaker 8: Well, they a lot of people, a lot of people
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: had sort of divided over side. So Southsiders are white
- 1:30:52Speaker 8: Socks nor sid so neither one. It seemed like a
- 1:30:54Speaker 8: step no, no, no, The south side owns the White Sox,
- 1:30:58Speaker 8: the north side owns now all of Chicago.
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: Went outside of Chicago.
- 1:31:02Speaker 8: Owns the Cubs because they're the ones who most recently
- 1:31:04Speaker 8: won a penny.
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: So a lot of people are claiming the Cubs.
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: But there's never seen as a one or other it's
- 1:31:11Speaker 8: seen as you from up there. It's them for us,
- 1:31:16Speaker 8: but we see we we hold our team to as
- 1:31:18Speaker 8: high an esteem as you.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: The Yankees do it to the Mets, right right in
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: New York like the Mets. Uh yeah, yeah, the right.
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: It's a New York thing. I believe, yeah, that they
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: have done well.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: Those are the only cities that have multiple team Chicago
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: is the only place to has like two teams and
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: two baseball teams. So it would take that kind of
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: city to be able to get that feel. So I
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: never knew about the White Sox to the Cubs as
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: far as but the Cubs never really won until that
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: recent recent right right, so I thought maybe the White
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: Sox so uh.
- 1:31:58Speaker 8: And and again that would be the outsiders claim the fame,
- 1:32:01Speaker 8: like y'all ain't never won a pennant, but now that
- 1:32:04Speaker 8: they find it.
- 1:32:05Speaker 7: Then the Cubs, the TV and the regular two Braves
- 1:32:08Speaker 7: WGN catch a day game.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: They're they're both on the on WGN. Well, I see
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: the day game back before the lights.
- 1:32:16Speaker 7: You know, it was a nostalgia of the Cubs playing
- 1:32:20Speaker 7: the day games.
- 1:32:21Speaker 8: On We'll see, and that was part of why in
- 1:32:23Speaker 8: the daytime you would catch the Cubs because at night
- 1:32:26Speaker 8: they would show for Sox games because they had no
- 1:32:28Speaker 8: problem with lights live golf.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: Their CEO says that they will be able to play
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: in Indie August twentieth to twenty third live golf. A
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: lot of people who saw about to close got a
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: cash injection of two hundred and fifty million from a
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: mystery investor. Now you know, when you think about live golf,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: you automatically go to something shady as an investor. But
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: there could be the Jeff Bezos. There could be the Nike.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: There could be a sports that just feel like, maybe
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: we'll test the waters before we put our brand on it. Yes,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: you know, let's get it back up and next year
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: it comes back as the Nike Live Golf. And that
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: sound good.
- 1:33:23Speaker 8: That sounds like that, But sound like a Federler investigation
- 1:33:27Speaker 8: all the way.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: I'm not saying it is. I'm just saying that I'm
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: finna start shreading my papers now so when the fans
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: show up, I ain't got nothing to tell them because
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: I don't I don't know nobody. I don't know nobody
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: with no two hundred and fifty million anonymous doubts. That's
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: all I'm saying if I.
- 1:33:45Speaker 8: Got two hundred fifty million dollars, I need you to
- 1:33:47Speaker 8: know that it's mine because.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I'm a Look, but I don't want I don't want
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: you to tell them who gave it to you? Why not,
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: because I just want to be a silent partner. I'm
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: gonna need my money back and I'm gonna get looked
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: up for at because right now, that's just like we
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: were talking about with the Caitlin Clarkson. That might overshadow,
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: that might overshadow what we're trying to do. Or you
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: will go and now that I'm sponsoring this, decide not
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: to buy my product when I really am just doing
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: this as maybe this is the competitor to the PGA.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: I don't have a This is not a political angle,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: This is not some kind This is purely I see
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: something that might need to be rescued.
- 1:34:27Speaker 8: And if I tell y'all I'm Dana White, then automatically
- 1:34:31Speaker 8: it's a Republican thing and you'll never watch it again.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: I understand. That's what we have gotten in our society
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: to where we used to have things that people truly
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: use their name. Remember what was it? The planet Hollywood's
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: And now people are learning that it's better for me
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: not to tell you I own.
- 1:34:52Speaker 5: Stuff, because.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: Because the minute they say they're discriminating against females, all
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: of a sudden people stop coming to see my movies.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: So and that was the only way I gave it
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: a little room. I'm still with you, and it might
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: be some connection. It might it could be, but we
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: do know, and it could be somebody who don't want whoever,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: whoever this investors. But I'm shreading my paper anyway because
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: even and not just from a political not just from
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: a rule, it can be people hate billionaires. People really
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: hate billionaires. They want government, at least in this country.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: They want the government to step in and start putting
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: parameters and telling people they can't have but so much money.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: So if Jeff Bezo, I'm just using that as an
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: Amazon decided, you know what, let me take this gamble.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: I want to get into professional sports, but right now
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: in the climate, if I do it, that might hurt
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: my Amazon. So what I'm gonna do is I just
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: will do a private.
- 1:36:04Speaker 8: And I can't although I can't imagine anything hurting Amazon,
- 1:36:07Speaker 8: Jeff Bezos could come out punching puppies on the weekday
- 1:36:12Speaker 8: news and everybody would be like.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: Man, hold on, you mean they deliver. You got to
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: come straight. No one can hurt Jeff Bezos. You're right,
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: Amazon can Amazon. So Jeff Bezo whatever he got, but
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: Amazon can't be a fact. I was gonna say this
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: new investment in a way that the stockhold whatever will
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: take notice.
- 1:36:32Speaker 7: They're saying that the players just now, they want them
- 1:36:35Speaker 7: to have some equity into this thing also, and that's
- 1:36:39Speaker 7: why they how they're planning on trying to keep them.
- 1:36:41Speaker 7: But one of the big fighters is like these guys
- 1:36:43Speaker 7: trying to make their way back, like the major players,
- 1:36:46Speaker 7: the major stars, they're wanting to come back to the PGA,
- 1:36:50Speaker 7: to the tour, and especially with the PGA coming up
- 1:36:55Speaker 7: with a new system now themselves, Tiger and a group
- 1:37:01Speaker 7: of put a committee together to sort of make it
- 1:37:06Speaker 7: a little bit more friendlier for the player to get
- 1:37:11Speaker 7: in and try to play. So like what Live was done.
- 1:37:14Speaker 7: So I don't I don't know what's going on with
- 1:37:16Speaker 7: with the investor. There's some quote unquote the Saute's but
- 1:37:20Speaker 7: I don't I don't think so does that fly.
- 1:37:22Speaker 5: With the does that fly with the government. No, Man,
- 1:37:24Speaker 5: we can't tell y'all.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: Who our investor is or do they know but we
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: know well, I would imagine they have to make sure
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: the funds. But aren't we in people's business too much?
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: What if Eric Trump I have decided to go and
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: sports is lucrative. Sports is showing you that we are
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: basically the number one money business moving now everything people
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: love it. People buying a million dollar tickets to come
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: to the World Cup. Every everybody is flooding the world
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: of sports. They got sports for everything. Flag football, I
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: saw frisbee football. They had some kind of dog surfing
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: tournament last week. People are taking big gambles and trying
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: to get into some kind.
- 1:38:20Speaker 8: Of warehouse baseball. I'm still tripping on that. They got
- 1:38:22Speaker 8: some kind of warehouse baseball. They got a twenty four
- 1:38:25Speaker 8: hour channel John Boy Media.
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: They got some kind of tennis, some kind of live
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: like argument of tennis. I have to find out that
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: Lady T's youngest door great Lady T that was on
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: the show where she's in some kind of I've been saying,
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: it's about two three miles from here where it's like
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: they play these quick matches and there's lights and all this.
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: But everyone is trying to create you sometime in the
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: Sports instea, I'm just saying, if I'm Eric Trump, just
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: doing that name out, just being a Trump means that, no,
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: don't get to to do that. Do that in their minds,
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: You're not supposed to be in business. And other names
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: that are like that. Heck, it could be diddy on
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: send his lawyer. Have you seen them to invest in
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: something something, and people will use that like, no, you're
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: not supposed to something that I just thought about as
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: it could be the people from the Savannah Bananos. Have
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: you seen how they have exploded in the last year
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: to where maybe they can afford something like that now And.
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: We already have the formula.
- 1:39:32Speaker 8: We know how to do lights and whistles and bails
- 1:39:36Speaker 8: and all of that and add it to what is
- 1:39:38Speaker 8: a traditional sport and make it more exciting.
- 1:39:41Speaker 5: And who knows where this will go.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: We'll be back more to the Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 1:39:53Speaker 6: One night.
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: Parked in the Spotlight and.
- 1:39:58Speaker 13: Don't Go Away War of the Sports Jot Show with

- 1:42:11Speaker 2: welcome back to this sport shock Shah.
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: I'm the sports shock wing Candy. So interesting. We were
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: talking about lift Golf, the mystery Investor. I remember a
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: couple of days ago I was having a conversation that
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: uh with some of my friends, telling him no matter
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: what I would invest in or own, I wouldn't tell you.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: You would have zero idea. The one or two people
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: that might know I would make them sign NDA's that
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: you could never tell anyone that I owned anything, because
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: I'm not blind. When lived, when the Saudi Arabia name
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: was mentioned it destroyed. What could possibly be with this golf?
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: When it was mentioned with the Big three in ice
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: Cube it was destroyed. I used trump if somebody like
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: a Daniel Snyder that used to own the Commanders, that
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: decided Danie Styder didn't lose his money. He's just y'all
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: won't let me own that, So I'll go get something
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: else that I can own. I just used to own
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: the billion dollar Commanders. Why want I take two fifty
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: and see if live now? Big Kenny has found that.
- 1:43:27Speaker 8: Baron Duffy, one of our loyal online listeners, has commented
- 1:43:30Speaker 8: that the new investor is BC Partners, a London based
- 1:43:33Speaker 8: private equity firm, is considering a loan to Live golf,
- 1:43:37Speaker 8: and then he followed it up with bottom line Wall
- 1:43:40Speaker 8: Street connections. And I'm only confused by the present tense
- 1:43:45Speaker 8: is considering as if the deal hadn't already gone through.
- 1:43:49Speaker 8: That's the only part that I'm trying to Well, you know,
- 1:43:51Speaker 8: they got to finish all the reditape and I guess
- 1:43:55Speaker 8: the antitrust. Yes, a lot of things, but I just
- 1:43:58Speaker 8: don't see the benefit of letting the society because we
- 1:44:05Speaker 8: are just too anything.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: Oklahoma State coach the Gandhi what's his name, Mike Gandhy
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: when everybody criticized him, he just had on a T
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: shirt for some TV network, and they linked that TV
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: network back to that they actually were pro Trump supporters,
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: So that meant that Mike Gandhy wearing their T shirt
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: was him. And I'm like, well, that's how deep we got,
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: because when I left the studio doing the interview, what
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: they gave me was among a T shirt and I
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: was only all I was doing was going fishing. I
- 1:44:45Speaker 1: figured this is something I could just throw away shirt
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: and be done. But I didn't know you was gonna
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: take that to mean all these things that we add
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: in and stereotype, like the bad producer it he did
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: early in the show, he did do that? What the
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: he did? Do that? You did the same thing. You
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: took one and assumed everything good did. I'm sorry. Lebron
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: James has decided that he may and this is just
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: speculation at the moment. He's going to be a sixer
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: this season. A lot of expectations and when people try
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: to tell me other things, like they try to tell
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: me Caitlyn Clark is not the face, and people like
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: to argue that Lebron in his twenty three years hasn't
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: been the face. He's still proving to you why he's
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: the face, The intrigue, the mystery of where he was going,
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: the expectations at forty two years old, of what he
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: can still deliver. If you don't think that means we're
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: talking about a forty two year old man. We gotta
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: figure out can he still provide enough the players that
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: he are going to the Jayalen Browns and those players
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: are excited. Yea that twenty two, twenty three years later,
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: he's saying he'll play.
- 1:46:03Speaker 8: With us, hoping his hope jail and Brian hoping his
- 1:46:06Speaker 8: minutes don't get decreased.
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: Moves the needle. Now he's saying that he's gonna live
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: in New York and commute from New York to Philly,
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: which is about one hundred miles apart. And speculation has
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: been he's gonna helicopter in. Amtrak has come in, trailways, Amtrak,
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: the train has came in and like Lebron will figure
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: out some special I don't know if they're just gonna
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: run there his own caboose. But talking about a young
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: man that can move the needle, that the King line,
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: the King Lie. We leave at five am. Everybody stop,
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: make no stop between New York and Philly.
- 1:46:56Speaker 8: So now it's gonna cost you. It's gonna cost you
- 1:47:01Speaker 8: twenty no, no, no, you're going. It's gonna cost with you.
- 1:47:06Speaker 8: It's gonna cost you about twenty three hundred dollars for
- 1:47:10Speaker 8: a ticket. But with that ticket, you get a meal
- 1:47:14Speaker 8: and assigned photo of Lebron and you can look into
- 1:47:19Speaker 8: the car where he's sitting and see him. You don't
- 1:47:23Speaker 8: get to talk to him much, and you can't bother him. No,
- 1:47:25Speaker 8: he on his way to work. He wave, but he'll
- 1:47:27Speaker 8: wave to you, and uh, that's just on the way now.
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: They're gonna on the way back from the game. But Lebron,
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: all that's gonna happen.
- 1:47:40Speaker 8: And on the way back from the games, now he's
- 1:47:42Speaker 8: gonna have to close the curtain to his his compartment because.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: He don't he'll need all that. But this sounds like
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: a lot. I don't know if Lebron at this age
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: to pull this off now and I'm just a commute,
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: or if he's just kind of saying, Billy, ain't it
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: to live in?
- 1:48:02Speaker 8: It's a cool place to play. But now I think
- 1:48:05Speaker 8: it's interesting and this is just me speculating that in
- 1:48:09Speaker 8: his decision to go to Philly, it wasn't about money, quote,
- 1:48:12Speaker 8: it wasn't about family. And now he's moving to New
- 1:48:19Speaker 8: York to commute to Philly. He didn't say he's moving
- 1:48:24Speaker 8: his family to New York. He's just he moving. And
- 1:48:28Speaker 8: what I'm saying now, New York a different animal New York.
- 1:48:32Speaker 8: When you go to New York, you go to New
- 1:48:34Speaker 8: York for specific reasons. And for him to be moving there,
- 1:48:37Speaker 8: like he set himself up in Lave to capitalize on
- 1:48:41Speaker 8: all of the media opportunities. Who knows what he's got
- 1:48:44Speaker 8: playing next, Well, I think that's what he's basically saying.
- 1:48:47Speaker 8: And this, with a year or two left, this is
- 1:48:50Speaker 8: not going to be like when I moved to other cities, right, Like,
- 1:48:53Speaker 8: me and the family aren't going right, I'm going over
- 1:48:57Speaker 8: here to our castle. He just built some fifty million
- 1:49:01Speaker 8: dollar compound in LA that's home. We've decided that's gonna
- 1:49:06Speaker 8: be home. We already have houses and places we are
- 1:49:10Speaker 8: going to put down roots. And this is just me
- 1:49:14Speaker 8: really going to play basketball.
- 1:49:17Speaker 9: And they said Wilt Chamberlain did that and he played
- 1:49:20Speaker 9: for the sixers. Oh that he lived in New York. Oh, okay,
- 1:49:24Speaker 9: so it's been kind of done before.
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: Yeah, he probably drove down every day though, real fast.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: And I would imagine the layout will be he will
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: have a place in Philly, but yeah, he will do
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: a majority of his living in New York and on
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: them days he just doesn't feel like going back on
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: a back to back kind of situation, those kind of things.
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: I got a got a little brownstone here, just a
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: little brownstone, management man, I got a fifty million out
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: in LA I get the brownstone, little throwaway right here.
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: He'll be back. More to Sports Jock Show run up
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: to this.

- 1:52:13Speaker 21: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: Last night, Welcome back to this horse Shock show. I'm
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: the sport shock Wayne KNT, Oregon football coach charge with
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: Dui at the crashing into park car and fleeing the scene.
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: Thirty one year old Rashad Samples says he was unaware
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: of the collision that happened, but when pulled over at
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: some point, felt like it was funny even. He says
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: he had given the officer his license and registration decided
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: to tell the officer his name was Deshaun Watt. Excuse me,
- 1:53:27Speaker 1: DeShawn Jackson said just joking though when he said it,
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: because the officer kept asking him, who are you? Now?
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: I imagine that the officer asked him a couple of
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: times who he was in an attempt to kind of
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: gauge whether he was drunk, some tactic like that, like
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: I see it, but I'm trying to hear you speak
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: and say your name, you know, see if it slurs
- 1:53:57Speaker 1: a little bit, you say who are you? You know,
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: I don't know how you sound when you're drunk. But
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: because I've never been drunk, so.
- 1:54:04Speaker 5: High over that pretty good impersonation.
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: Those forts.
- 1:54:08Speaker 5: Get to you.
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: What's your name? You drifted? Drifted in the first she
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: was some drinks and now you you overdose at this point,
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: you drink because because if you're drunk, you don't know
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: you're slurring.
- 1:54:30Speaker 5: Now now you drunk.
- 1:54:31Speaker 8: People honestly think nobody knows the drunk people really be something.
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: You know what? Ain't no way man, y'all be cool,
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: y'all be cool. I got this. How you doing so?
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: You don't remember when you were speaking to me like that?
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: I was not sweething sir.
- 1:54:50Speaker 8: Me and command you greg And it's a little kid
- 1:54:52Speaker 8: calls a mister Gregory.
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: That's conclaiming. It's not claiming. Harr stiff side will I
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: will because I don't even want to be in this car.
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: Let's go back here and talk. Let's talk in your car.
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: It's so much nicer than mine. And they're not gonna
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: remember any of them. No, no, they beat on some man.
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: I ain't.
- 1:55:12Speaker 8: I ain't think I had that drunk. And then you
- 1:55:15Speaker 8: see the video like man, I was lit drunk. People
- 1:55:19Speaker 8: never think that, you know.
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: And and the thing that threw me off in this
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: what part of you saying to Shawn Jackson name. He
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: says to Shawn is his favorite football player all the time.
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: And he was kidding around what part of uh and
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: who was just getting pulled over? No, this is an assistant.
- 1:55:36Speaker 8: Coach, assistant coach, and he said Sean Jackson's name like
- 1:55:41Speaker 8: that was gonna lighten the move.
- 1:55:43Speaker 6: I came here.
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: I think that's what I don't have. I don't have
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: any kind of idea this I came to get.
- 1:55:50Speaker 8: I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you it's a
- 1:55:51Speaker 8: trauma response. It's trauma responds. I know from personal experience.
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: When you when you know you in that spot where
- 1:55:59Speaker 1: I'm going, ain't too much, ain't too much men to
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: change my faith. I'm gonna just go on and make
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: the best of this situation. So I'm gonna have a
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: story to tell. Hey, So what's your name, Big Kenny? No? No,
- 1:56:11Speaker 1: what is your name? Oh, bro, mister Gregory. And then
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: later when you bail me out, man, I told his people,
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: I was you Steve taking me the left left back? No, No,
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: you probably won't laugh. I mean, it's only I'm the
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: only one I care about right now because I'm upset
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: you broke my name into any of it.
- 1:56:32Speaker 5: I'm the only one needs.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: If I had known that, I wouldn't have came and
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: built you you. How did I come out?
- 1:56:38Speaker 8: Hey, sir, it's I needed some humor in that moment.
- 1:56:42Speaker 8: You were available, even though you weren't actually available. The
- 1:56:45Speaker 8: eight billion names on the planet, you came up. It
- 1:56:48Speaker 8: means the easiest for me to come up with you
- 1:56:50Speaker 8: my favorite player, So I thought, I throw you under
- 1:56:52Speaker 8: the bus. I'm looking for a story of him being
- 1:56:57Speaker 8: let go. I'm quite sure, man, I need to update
- 1:57:01Speaker 8: because I imagine the organ didn't think that was funny.
- 1:57:05Speaker 5: Oh no, they probably probably didn't.
- 1:57:09Speaker 8: I mean, on top of the d U I and
- 1:57:11Speaker 8: everything else, they probably didn't think the false identifying yourself
- 1:57:15Speaker 8: it was hilarious at all. But again, in the moment,
- 1:57:19Speaker 8: the drunk person number one don't think you know he drunk,
- 1:57:22Speaker 8: and number two think all of that is hilarious. They
- 1:57:26Speaker 8: think all of that is just K me slapping everybody
- 1:57:29Speaker 8: get this joke.
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: But it's just him. Have you guys ever been in
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: that kind of well? Why is it that the traffic stop,
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: I guess we've talked about this has become so intense.
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: Why is it just you excuse me, sir or ma'am.
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: You know why you I pulled you over.
- 1:57:51Speaker 7: We've got a lot of jail house lawyers on tiktoks
- 1:57:54Speaker 7: and stuff.
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: It's playing your name, I mean your licensed registration. Why
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: is it so tense now?
- 1:57:59Speaker 7: Everybody's plaining to people like, oh, when the cop pull
- 1:58:02Speaker 7: you over, you don't have to roll your wonder, this
- 1:58:03Speaker 7: is what you gotta do. You say this constitutional laws,
- 1:58:07Speaker 7: and you know you're quoting and spitting all the things
- 1:58:11Speaker 7: of why you pulling me over?
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: Officer. I don't have to roll my window down. I
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: don't have to do this.
- 1:58:16Speaker 7: And same with your guy in Miami, the football player
- 1:58:21Speaker 7: when he got pulled Terry Hill.
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: That thing.
- 1:58:24Speaker 7: People are on the internet and they're giving you bad
- 1:58:27Speaker 7: advice on when you're getting the traffic stop and everybody
- 1:58:30Speaker 7: tries to attempt to do that.
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: You can't do that with everyboda.
- 1:58:34Speaker 8: I think a lot of that is the loss of
- 1:58:36Speaker 8: respect or authority. What they don't see police as having
- 1:58:40Speaker 8: the authority to pull you over and demand anything from
- 1:58:43Speaker 8: you when it used to be a time when they
- 1:58:45Speaker 8: pulled way over.
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: Do you know why I stopped you? I'm hoping it's
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: for the speed, and sir, well, you ain't the cocaine.
- 1:58:52Speaker 8: You ain't, no way you have seen the cocaine in
- 1:58:54Speaker 8: the truck from over there.
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: So I'm hoping you didn't pull me over for the speed.
- 1:58:57Speaker 7: It goes back to the defunding, back when everybody HOLI
- 1:59:00Speaker 7: defund the.
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: Police, and this is that. So I'm saying a lot
- 1:59:04Speaker 1: of people say a lot of this what's going on
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: before the defunding. But when you pulled some head over
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: to the up you you love to bring your political view?
- 1:59:13Speaker 1: You asked, Only I'm gonna frame you up in stereotype
- 1:59:16Speaker 1: you as a Republican, you asked, because you question you
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: to love to bring up your political views?
- 1:59:22Speaker 7: Are you a Republican? No, you said, what was the
- 1:59:24Speaker 7: Are you a Republican? Though I am an independent. What
- 1:59:27Speaker 7: I'm saying I mean.
- 1:59:29Speaker 1: That mean, that mean I'm a Republican, but I'm black,
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: and I'm scared to say it in front of black folks.
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: That's what I was getting to. It's funny that I
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: say the stuff that nobody else that's mean because I
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: ain't got no friends. You know, I don't be I
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: don't be caring about losing people because don't nobody like me.
- 1:59:46Speaker 22: Nobody and we are in the ocean. The truth is
- 1:59:53Speaker 22: he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to
- 1:59:56Speaker 22: wrap things up on the sports Junct show.
- 1:59:59Speaker 6: Which waye Ginny, when you're.
- 2:00:28Speaker 1: The size of the ocean, get the sports, y'all. Just
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: a minute to Vin. We'd like to thank you for

- 2:00:38Speaker 1: you missed any of the show today, you can go
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: to Amazon Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Audible, Feezer, iHeartRadio, Spotify and
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: catch the replay of the show today. I'm standing up
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: and I'm making a stand. Unlike Caitlin Clark and similar
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: to Sophie Cunningham, I'm gonna stand up on it. Free
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: Tony Romo, y'all. Let Tony rus Stall Tony Romo out.
- 2:01:09Speaker 6: Man, all you.
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: Cor for American types out there, get pulled over every day,
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: and don't lose your job over a little DUI. I
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: did some research. I asked around. I was like, look,
- 2:01:21Speaker 1: is this common? Is this what happens out in the
- 2:01:24Speaker 1: real world? And to a man, they were like, uh no,
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: unless you got some kind of driving job. You don't
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: lose your Corporate America job based on DUI necessary. But
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: y'all want to get rid of Tony Roma. Free Tony Romo. Man,
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: it was this little alcohol. He wasn't even at a
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: CBS event. He was living the Tony Romo life. I
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: like Tony Romo a little monotone, but I like because
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: he makes light of himself. He doesn't broadcast as though
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: he invented water. He gives all the credit to others.
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: He seems very engaged, a much better broadcasting than he
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: was a football player. And you have to salute him
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: for being able to transition. But y'all's gonna take the
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: man twenty million dollars a year job away. Let him
- 2:02:21Speaker 1: go to some rehalb or something. I'm quite sure he'll
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: even give y'all a million dollars to the Mad campaign
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: to keep the other nineteen. Right, I'm gonna give you
- 2:02:32Speaker 1: a meal. I keep the other nineteen. That sounds like
- 2:02:34Speaker 1: good business.
- 2:02:35Speaker 8: Practice, sounds like get your nation. But Tony, he don't
- 2:02:39Speaker 8: have to be anonymous.
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: Free Tony Romo. That's all I gotta say today. Enjoy
- 2:02:45Speaker 1: the game tonight, the Hall of Fame inductees, A salute
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: to you for anyone that can make it to the
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: halls of Canton as well for commanche Greg Big Kenny,
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: the funny man himself, and the stereotype produce over here.
- 2:03:02Speaker 1: Have a good weekend and we'll see you in the future. Peace.
- 2:03:06Speaker 5: We ain't judging Tony because we've all been pulled over
- 2:03:09Speaker 5: for then you.
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: I am I right, Have I right?
