- 0:31Speaker 1: a Think About It Thursday here on Stugatz and Company Live.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Big Thursday night football game tonight. But Taylor, you know me.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I'm an NBA guy.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I love the NBA, especially the early portions of the season.
- 0:48Speaker 3: You know me, right? You know that, right? I know that.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yes.
- 0:51Speaker 1: If you want my top five NBA teams through one game,
- 0:54Speaker 1: you can get that. at Stugatz and Company, the podcast
- 0:58Speaker 1: we do before this radio show. And again, we do,
- 1:01Speaker 1: me and Taylor, walk in here after doing two or
- 1:05Speaker 1: three shows every single day. And the only reason I
- 1:08Speaker 1: wanted to come back to radio was simply to take calls.
- 1:12Speaker 1: That is it. So 877-99 on Fox. I'm telling you
- 1:16Speaker 1: right now, no calls, no fun. I want to have fun.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I want to talk to people. I want to have
- 1:22Speaker 1: human interaction. And I don't care what we're talking about.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I don't care what we're doing. I will stop what
- 1:28Speaker 1: it is we're doing to take your phone calls.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I'm trying to think what your NBA nickname would be
- 1:33Speaker 3: as somebody who gives hot takes, and I think it
- 1:35Speaker 3: would be Hot Air Jordan.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Put it on the poll. It's a good NBA nickname
- 1:42Speaker 1: for Stugatz, Hot Air Jordan. I think you're right.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Not bad.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We'll get to think about it Thursday coming up in
- 1:52Speaker 1: the next segment. Did you see what happened with Golden
- 1:56Speaker 1: State and the L.A. Lakers last night, Taylor? Did you
- 2:00Speaker 1: see that game? Were you up late last night watching
- 2:02Speaker 1: that game?
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I love Yaxel Enderborg. Yaxel Enderborg, going back to
- 2:07Speaker 3: his Michigan days... He is a guy who is going
- 2:10Speaker 3: to say what's on his mind after every game for
- 2:13Speaker 3: better or for worse. And most of the times it
- 2:15Speaker 3: seems like it's for worse. He is the least PR
- 2:18Speaker 3: trained player I've seen ever play professional sports, I think. Yes,
- 2:22Speaker 3: I wish I knew.
- 2:23Speaker 1: We had him on right before the draft. We only
- 2:25Speaker 1: had him on for 10 minutes and it was on me.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It was not on him.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I had no idea he was a guy who was
- 2:30Speaker 3: willing to say stuff. Say whatever.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I had no idea. So we had a back
- 2:35Speaker 1: and forth. with Luka, and Luka will drive you crazy.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He drives people crazy, and it didn't take him long
- 2:41Speaker 1: to drive Yaxel crazy. Let's listen to Yaxel after the
- 2:45Speaker 1: game here talking about what was going on during the
- 2:48Speaker 1: game with Luka Doncic.
- 2:50Speaker 5: I was telling him he sucks. He can't score on me.
- 2:52Speaker 5: You talking, you can't score on me. I said it
- 2:53Speaker 5: the whole game. I said a couple cuss words, obviously.
- 2:56Speaker 5: You know, that's why I got the technical and all that.
- 2:58Speaker 5: But I was letting him know because, you know, he
- 3:00Speaker 5: was laughing and talking all this because of that one
- 3:02Speaker 5: foul call. And he didn't, his only bucket on me
- 3:05Speaker 5: was a banker from Hapcourt. Like I know it's a
- 3:08Speaker 5: team sport, you know, he had, What did he have?
- 3:11Speaker 6: 28.
- 3:11Speaker 5: He had 28 on us as a team. I had
- 3:14Speaker 5: a lot of respect for him, you know, just because
- 3:16Speaker 5: just watching. I didn't really watch the NBA much. I
- 3:18Speaker 5: just watched highlights, seeing him, you know, kill people all
- 3:20Speaker 5: the time. But then being in there firsthand and just
- 3:22Speaker 5: watching all the whining and complaining, I.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Lost all respect, man. Like, that was awful.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Like, me getting frustrated, it's not about, like, it's not about, like,
- 3:31Speaker 5: the foul being called.
- 3:32Speaker 7: It's about, like, him complaining the entire game. And then
- 3:35Speaker 7: you get the foul called.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Congratulations, bro.
- 3:37Speaker 7: And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro.
- 3:39Speaker 7: Come on, dog.
- 3:41Speaker 5: You know, so it kind of like, it kind of
- 3:43Speaker 5: threw me off for a little while. Cause you know,
- 3:45Speaker 5: like I said, I had so much respect for him.
- 3:46Speaker 7: Gone, man.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Gone.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I'm not certain anyone has lost someone's respect quicker than that.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It took them all of a half. What do you
- 3:55Speaker 3: have Taylor? If that's all it takes to lose all
- 3:58Speaker 3: respect for a player in the NBA, Yes. I'm telling
- 4:01Speaker 3: you this right now, Yaxel Endborg, you're going to hate
- 4:03Speaker 3: almost every superstar that you have to guard. You're going
- 4:06Speaker 3: to hate SGA. You're going to hate Jalen Brunson. You're
- 4:09Speaker 3: going to hate LeBron James. You're going to hate James Harden.
- 4:12Speaker 3: This is a problem that the NBA has right now
- 4:14Speaker 3: where the superstars want to get superstar calls. Yes.
- 4:17Speaker 1: The only superstar he'll like is Steph Curry. Yes. His teammate.
- 4:22Speaker 1: But right. Wait until he gets a hold of SGA.
- 4:26Speaker 1: and his whining and his complaining. Luka will do that
- 4:29Speaker 1: to you, though. He whines, he complains, he's always shopping
- 4:32Speaker 1: for calls, and he'll drive you crazy.
- 4:34Speaker 3: He just will. Yeah, that altercation with the Axel felt
- 4:38Speaker 3: like the exact moment in that game where Luka decided
- 4:40Speaker 3: that he was going to take over the game. There
- 4:42Speaker 3: are certain players in the NBA and in sports in
- 4:45Speaker 3: general where you can't get under their skin and take
- 4:48Speaker 3: them out of their game, where Luka is the exact
- 4:51Speaker 3: opposite of that. Luka wants you to try to get
- 4:53Speaker 3: under his skin, and suddenly he's hunting you on every possession,
- 4:57Speaker 3: where I think Yaxel made the classic rookie mistake. He
- 5:01Speaker 3: thought he was getting into Luka's head. What he didn't
- 5:03Speaker 3: realize was that's exactly where Luka wants you to be.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Luka was opening the door for him. He was like,
- 5:08Speaker 1: here's my head. Here's the door. Walk right into it.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Come on in. Luka's got like a mat outside. Like,
- 5:14Speaker 3: leave your shoes here.
- 5:17Speaker 1: That's exactly. You're exactly right. That's where Luka wants you.
- 5:21Speaker 1: He wants you within 30 minutes of playing basketball. He
- 5:25Speaker 1: wants you to hate him.
- 5:26Speaker 3: He does.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He wants you to be frustrated by him. And so
- 5:30Speaker 1: I think Yaxel, I am thrilled that we have a
- 5:32Speaker 1: player who is willing to say the type of things
- 5:34Speaker 1: he said after the game. But Yaxel needs to learn
- 5:37Speaker 1: something here. Luka's got him exactly where he wants.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yes. And to Yaxel's credit, I do think he does
- 5:45Speaker 3: back up his talk a bit with his play where
- 5:47Speaker 3: I thought coming out of the draft, Yaxel was the
- 5:49Speaker 3: most NBA ready player. prospect in the draft in terms
- 5:52Speaker 3: of what he brings to the table to an NBA
- 5:55Speaker 3: team where when you pair him on a team like
- 5:57Speaker 3: Golden State that that felt like a natural fit if
- 5:59Speaker 3: you thought that Golden State was in a position to
- 6:01Speaker 3: get LeBron James at the time and kind of push
- 6:04Speaker 3: for a title contending team where you're not drafting a
- 6:07Speaker 3: guy who's going to take years to develop like Yaxel
- 6:10Speaker 3: is is a big size forward he's going to be
- 6:12Speaker 3: able to guard He holds Luka to one of six
- 6:17Speaker 3: from the field when he's being guarded by Yaxel. The
- 6:20Speaker 3: problem that I have, though, is Yaxel saying, what did
- 6:24Speaker 3: Luka score, 28?
- 6:24Speaker 8: Where....
- 6:27Speaker 3: He's saying he can't score on me, and it's like, okay,
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yaks look like congratulations. He could score on everybody else
- 6:33Speaker 3: on your team, though, and it's kind of like what
- 6:35Speaker 3: message does that send to your teammates where you're essentially saying,
- 6:39Speaker 3: I did my job. The rest of you couldn't guard
- 6:41Speaker 3: him if you knew which way he was going to go.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That he's selfish, but I like it. I like it
- 6:47Speaker 1: a lot because what he's saying is, yep, he scored
- 6:50Speaker 1: 28 against the team. He only scored a couple of
- 6:53Speaker 1: points against me, and one of them was lucky. It
- 6:54Speaker 1: was a 45-footer. it kind of reminds me have you
- 7:01Speaker 1: seen die hard no i am hesitant i was hesitant
- 7:04Speaker 1: to ask you that question because you're so much younger
- 7:07Speaker 1: than when did it come out let me look it up.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I mean are you kidding me you haven't seen die
- 7:11Speaker 3: hard uh let's see when this movie come out 1988
- 7:15Speaker 3: all right.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So there's a blonde villain i don't remember his name
- 7:19Speaker 1: but he's outraged he's looking all over the building he's
- 7:21Speaker 1: looking for someone because there's a rogue somebody who got
- 7:24Speaker 1: free Everyone else is being held hostage by the group
- 7:29Speaker 1: in the Nakatomi Towers.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I don't know how I remember that.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And so the blonde villain, long blonde hair, he comes down,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and he is outraged. He is absolutely— what was the name?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Just say it on air.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Hans Gruber?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Well, no, Hans Gruber is the leader of this crew. Yes,
- 7:46Speaker 1: what do you have for us, Iowa Sam?
- 7:47Speaker 3: Hey, guys, good to be with you.
- 7:49Speaker 9: Yes, his name's Carl, played by Alexander Akudinov.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:53Speaker 9: Carl is the guy. He's one of the henchmen with
- 7:55Speaker 9: the long blonde hair.
- 7:56Speaker 1: He's the main henchman.
- 7:57Speaker 8: Yes.
- 7:57Speaker 3: He deals with John McClane earlier in the film.
- 8:00Speaker 10: Yes.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Hans Gruber is in charge of all the henchmen. Played
- 8:03Speaker 3: by Alan Rickman.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yes. A great role. Carl Winslow was in this movie? Yes.
- 8:10Speaker 3: He plays a cop. Big surprise.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And what was the guy with the blonde hair?
- 8:15Speaker 3: What was his name in the movie? Carl with a K.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Very German.
- 8:19Speaker 1: So Carl is the head of all the henchmen, Taylor. Okay.
- 8:22Speaker 1: He's head henchman. He's the captain. He has a C
- 8:25Speaker 1: on his chest. And he's looking all over the Nakatomi Plaza.
- 8:29Speaker 1: He's looking for the person who went rogue, the one
- 8:31Speaker 1: person who's not a hostage. And he comes back downstairs,
- 8:36Speaker 1: and he's freaking out, losing his mind, pulling the hair
- 8:38Speaker 1: out of his head. And one of the hostages whispers
- 8:43Speaker 1: to another hostage, John McClane is still alive. Now, John
- 8:48Speaker 1: McClane is the cop. His wife is one of the hostages.
- 8:51Speaker 1: She knows him so well that she knows only John
- 8:53Speaker 1: McClane can make a man that angry. And so I
- 8:58Speaker 1: imagine Luca, as Yaxel is doing that, saying, man, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: got him right where I want him. That is Luca.
- 9:05Speaker 1: He is still alive. I am in his head.
- 9:07Speaker 3: He fell for it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: That's the way I kind of imagine Luca experiencing that.
- 9:11Speaker 1: He whispered to someone yesterday.
- 9:13Speaker 3: He fell for it. So tonight is going to be
- 9:15Speaker 3: tough just because we have Patriots Bears that you would
- 9:18Speaker 3: assume is going to get the majority of my attention tonight. Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 3: But you have my promise. Within the next week, I
- 9:24Speaker 3: will watch Die Hard so that I could come back
- 9:26Speaker 3: to you and say, Stu, that analogy with Luka and Yaxel,
- 9:30Speaker 3: you nailed it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So if Luka's wife, I'm not certain if he has one,
- 9:34Speaker 1: if she were a hostage at the Nakatomi Plaza and
- 9:37Speaker 1: Hans left or the blonde-haired guy left and he went
- 9:40Speaker 1: looking for whoever went rogue, He would come back downstairs.
- 9:45Speaker 3: He'd be upset.
- 9:45Speaker 1: He'd be pulling his hair out. And Luca's wife would
- 9:48Speaker 1: whisper to someone, Luca's still alive. You're going to watch
- 9:53Speaker 1: it tonight?
- 9:54Speaker 3: I don't think you're going to watch it tonight. Not tonight.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I can't promise tonight. And then tomorrow's the World Series.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Saturday's College Football. sundays ricardo he's never gonna watch it
- 10:03Speaker 3: he is I think Conference USA football is Tuesday nights.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Usually FIU is playing those nights. Do you even know
- 10:11Speaker 3: who Alan Rickman is?
- 10:12Speaker 8: No.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Do you know who Bruce Willis is? Yes, come on. Okay.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Who plays Snape? Alan Rickman?
- 10:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 3: But you don't know Rickman? No, I know him through Snape.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Like if you said the guy who plays Snape in
- 10:27Speaker 3: Harry Potter, I would have said, oh. Of course. Alan Rickman.
- 10:33Speaker 3: 877-99 on Fox.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I am going to ask you every single day for
- 10:35Speaker 1: the remainder of time, was last night the night you
- 10:38Speaker 1: watched Die Hard?
- 10:41Speaker 3: Wednesday's Survivor, too. I forgot about Survivor.
- 10:44Speaker 7: Really?
- 10:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 3: They're still doing that?
- 10:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Really?
- 10:47Speaker 9: And, Stu, once Taylor watches Die Hard, he can determine
- 10:51Speaker 9: whether or not it's a Christmas movie. That is the
- 10:53Speaker 9: next thing that he has to cross off the list.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Is it a Christmas movie or not?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yes, but do you get the analogy I'm making there,
- 11:00Speaker 1: the movie analogy I'm making there? Yes, only Luca could
- 11:03Speaker 1: drive a person that crazy, and that's what he does.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And when he drives you that crazy, he is one.
- 11:09Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to say.
- 11:10Speaker 3: He's a thorn in Carl's side.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah luca is the thorn in yaxel's side yes.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of stew gods and
- 11:21Speaker 2: company live weekdays at 3 p.m eastern 12 p.m pacific
- 11:25Speaker 2: on fox sports radio and the iheart radio.
- 11:28Speaker 1: App uh let's go out to i'm going to take
- 11:32Speaker 1: some calls here uh sam let's go to matt who's
- 11:34Speaker 1: in illinois today matt go ahead you're on fox sports radio.
- 11:38Speaker 11: Hey, Stu, long-time listener, first-time caller. I listen to you
- 11:42Speaker 11: when you're on the mothership for a while.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I just got an observation for Taylor.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Have you at least seen Commando?
- 11:50Speaker 3: No, I haven't seen Commando. Commando. We're all laughing. Commando.
- 11:54Speaker 1: When was Commando made? I mean, Taylor's 31, Matt.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Okay, 85.
- 11:59Speaker 8: 85.
- 11:59Speaker 11: Yep.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Okay. Matt, the general rule is if a movie came
- 12:04Speaker 3: out before 1994, there's almost zero chance I've watched it.
- 12:08Speaker 11: Well, I'm just saying, you know Bruce Willis, but you
- 12:10Speaker 11: haven't seen Die Hard.
- 12:11Speaker 6: I mean, come on.
- 12:11Speaker 3: What are you talking about here?
- 12:13Speaker 4: Yes.
- 12:13Speaker 9: I don't think if Taylor hasn't seen Die Hard, he
- 12:16Speaker 9: hasn't seen Commando.
- 12:17Speaker 3: There's no way.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And by the way, he's never going to see Die Hard,
- 12:21Speaker 1: and he's never going to see Commando. I don't care
- 12:22Speaker 1: what he tells me.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Have you at least seen Predator, Taylor? Predator?
- 12:27Speaker 6: No. Oh. car oh my.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Gosh jesse the body ventura i mean you've got some
- 12:33Speaker 1: work to do my friend i want you to watch
- 12:34Speaker 1: die hard uh commando i'm okay if you don't um
- 12:40Speaker 1: but you need to watch die hard you just did.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah but who's gonna watch sam houston state versus new
- 12:44Speaker 3: mexico state yesterday.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I'll watch it for you okay all right i'll watch
- 12:49Speaker 1: that game for you if you show me if you
- 12:51Speaker 1: provide me with proof that you are indeed watching Die Hard.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Never know when you're going to have to talk about Bearcats.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Phil Longo and them boys are struggling this year, one
- 13:00Speaker 3: and six.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I know, but I got us covered. I said I'd
- 13:02Speaker 1: watch the game, okay? Let's go out to Eric, who's
- 13:05Speaker 1: in Arizona today. Eric, go ahead. You're on Fox Sports Radio.
- 13:08Speaker 11: Hello, gentlemen and lady. I have a quick question. With
- 13:12Speaker 11: all the changes they've made in baseball over the years
- 13:15Speaker 11: to speed up the game, I want to know how
- 13:17Speaker 11: you guys would feel if they gave the player the
- 13:19Speaker 11: option to basically take a pass on trying to run
- 13:23Speaker 11: the bases. You know, they can step on home and
- 13:25Speaker 11: then go whip it up with the crowd, celebrate with
- 13:27Speaker 11: their team, or they can actually take the run around
- 13:30Speaker 11: the bases. I want to know what you think Pierce
- 13:32Speaker 11: would think or if that would be something they might do.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Well, just stay right there.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Hold on a second. I have follow-ups to this. You're
- 13:39Speaker 1: saying so if they hit a home run, they have
- 13:41Speaker 1: the option of not circling the bases, just step on
- 13:43Speaker 1: home and celebrate with it.
- 13:44Speaker 11: Step on home.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 11: And I mean, that that might, you know, eliminate any,
- 13:50Speaker 11: you know, options for the pitcher to go after the
- 13:52Speaker 11: next hitter if they wanted to, you know, really take
- 13:55Speaker 11: as much time as Caminero did the other day. But
- 13:58Speaker 11: I don't know how purists would feel or if, you know, fans.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Would feel like they're– Let me tell you right now,
- 14:03Speaker 1: Bob Costas would hate it, and I don't care.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Kirchhen would hate it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Kirchhen would absolutely hate it. I also don't care.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I actually like the idea. I'll start by saying this.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I don't care how long it takes a guy to
- 14:15Speaker 1: round the bases, and I don't care how he wants
- 14:17Speaker 1: to celebrate his home run.
- 14:19Speaker 3: He should not be beaned for doing it. Right, right.
- 14:23Speaker 11: I'm worried about the– When a guy's throwing over 100 now,
- 14:27Speaker 11: I'm like, oh, man, if somebody puts one in somebody's ear,
- 14:32Speaker 11: they might think about it.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Yes, but the reason they shouldn't be doing that, if
- 14:36Speaker 1: it's a mistake, it's a mistake. If they're mad at
- 14:38Speaker 1: a guy for how he celebrates his home run, a
- 14:40Speaker 1: monster home run, a big home run, get over yourself.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I mean, seriously.
- 14:45Speaker 1: So thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Taylor,
- 14:46Speaker 1: how do you feel about this? Because I hold you
- 14:49Speaker 1: as a baseball purist, even though you're 31 years old.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So a home run, he could step on home plate
- 14:54Speaker 1: and celebrate with the fans, with his teammates, or he
- 14:57Speaker 1: has to round the bases and do it the traditional way.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I'm a traditionalist. This guy has to round the bases.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Some of the best moments in baseball are moments where
- 15:06Speaker 3: guys are rounding the bases. Like, if we got this rule,
- 15:09Speaker 3: then we don't have the Chris Chambliss home run in 1976.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Right.
- 15:13Speaker 3: That you've seen. Many times. Too many times to count.
- 15:19Speaker 3: You got to touch them all, right? I'm with you
- 15:21Speaker 3: on that. Touch them all, Joe. You'll never hit a
- 15:23Speaker 3: big one.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Put it on the poll. Does it feel like a
- 15:25Speaker 1: home run if you don't touch them all? i'm with
- 15:28Speaker 1: you you got to step on all the bases you've
- 15:30Speaker 1: earned it.
- 15:30Speaker 3: The joe carter call if it was just touch home
- 15:33Speaker 3: joe yes you'll never hit a bigger home run in
- 15:35Speaker 3: your life that doesn't hit the same.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Let's go let's go to uh mo who is in
- 15:42Speaker 1: arizona today go ahead mo you're on fox sports radio Hey, guys.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Ladies out. How's it going?
- 15:48Speaker 8: Yeah, you definitely got to go with round the bases
- 15:50Speaker 8: because that Kirk Gibson fist pump, I mean, that's iconic.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Yes.
- 15:55Speaker 3: But think about it. Kirk shouldn't have had to run
- 15:56Speaker 3: the base. He was hurt.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I mean, he was limping around.
- 15:58Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly. He could barely walk.
- 16:00Speaker 8: But I'm getting on this, the actual whoever that guy's
- 16:03Speaker 8: name is. He didn't do his history, because he looked
- 16:07Speaker 8: up Reuben Patterson and Gerald Wilkins, and these guys thought
- 16:10Speaker 8: they were the Kobe and Jordan Stopper, and you never
- 16:13Speaker 8: heard of these guys again. I'm surprised that he didn't
- 16:15Speaker 8: do the Mike Evans, turn the jersey around and say,
- 16:18Speaker 8: who the hell are you?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Right, Luka's going to have the last laugh.
- 16:22Speaker 3: You're right.
- 16:23Speaker 1: You're right about that, yes. But Luka set him up,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and he fell for it. I'd be concerned if I
- 16:28Speaker 1: were the Warriors. He walked him right into the trap.
- 16:33Speaker 6: I mean.
- 16:34Speaker 3: What are we doing here?
- 16:36Speaker 1: Anyway, let's go out to, before we get to think
- 16:38Speaker 1: about it Thursday, Eli, who's in North Carolina today.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Go ahead, Eli.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Well, keep it in the wheelhouse. Today we're going to
- 16:45Speaker 10: talk about them Carolina Panthers. I got a statement to make.
- 16:49Speaker 10: How about Baker Mayfield coming back this week? Is something
- 16:52Speaker 10: good enough?
- 16:53Speaker 6: What is that?
- 16:53Speaker 10: Like, dude, you want to try to– he's still mad.
- 16:56Speaker 8: That we let him go.
- 16:57Speaker 10: Like, Baker, it's over, bro.
- 16:58Speaker 11: Go do something else.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Enjoy Florida.
- 17:00Speaker 10: Enjoy the palm trees and stuff, man.
- 17:02Speaker 2: You know, sit out.
- 17:02Speaker 10: Because I promise you, you'd probably prefer that anyway coming
- 17:05Speaker 10: up this week. And secondly, my question is, with contracts
- 17:09Speaker 10: coming up in 2028, I know it's kind of far out,
- 17:11Speaker 10: but we got– Trouba Hubbard and I believe Terrell McMillan
- 17:15Speaker 10: contract up in 28 and then we got Poker after
- 17:17Speaker 10: this extension we just gave him in 29 um which
- 17:20Speaker 10: one out of those three do you give max extensions
- 17:22Speaker 10: to and do you resign a running back in 2028
- 17:25Speaker 10: Trouba Hubbard I know he's having a good year so
- 17:26Speaker 10: far but is he worth it in.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Two more years or do we start looking for a
- 17:30Speaker 6: new back of.
- 17:31Speaker 1: The three the big money I would give is to
- 17:33Speaker 1: McMillan you agree Taylor yeah yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Give it a T-Mac he's he's proven that he could
- 17:38Speaker 3: be a wide receiver one I think in the NFL.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yes um Chuba Hubbard, listen, if he's willing to play
- 17:45Speaker 1: at a reasonable price, I guess, but, I mean, it's
- 17:48Speaker 1: so tricky with the running back, don't you think? There's
- 17:51Speaker 1: a reason the Seahawks let Kenneth Walker go to the Chiefs. Now,
- 17:55Speaker 1: I know Kenneth Walker is the MVP of the season
- 17:58Speaker 1: through five weeks, but I don't think that's going to hold,
- 18:02Speaker 1: and I think the running back position, for the most part,
- 18:04Speaker 1: is fairly interchangeable, you know?
- 18:06Speaker 3: I think it's interchangeable in the sense of if it's
- 18:09Speaker 3: not like a top five running back that could elevate
- 18:11Speaker 3: your team to Super Bowl status contention, like Kenneth Walker
- 18:14Speaker 3: on the Chiefs, Kenneth Walker on the Chiefs makes the
- 18:17Speaker 3: Chiefs a Super Bowl contender. I don't think anything Chuba
- 18:20Speaker 3: Hubbard could ever do in Carolina is going to make
- 18:22Speaker 3: the Carolina Panthers a Super Bowl contender because of Chuba Hubbard.
- 18:26Speaker 3: But you look at a team like the Philadelphia Eagles,
- 18:28Speaker 3: when the Eagles go out and get somebody like Saquon Barkley,
- 18:31Speaker 3: that elevates the Eagles. I don't think Chuba Hubbard's in
- 18:35Speaker 3: the category of running back where you could justify paying
- 18:38Speaker 3: him what he'll probably want.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I think running backs are easier to find than wide receivers.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I think, you know, I think Bryce has two very
- 18:44Speaker 1: good wide receivers who are also young in Coker and McMillan.
- 18:48Speaker 1: That should be the priority. I think Carolina is America's team.
- 18:52Speaker 1: They're my team for sure. Put it on the poll.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Have the Carolina Panthers replaced the Dallas Cowboys as America's team?
- 19:00Speaker 3: I've been on the phone with bars in Charlotte, in
- 19:03Speaker 3: Uptown Charlotte, in Dilworth in Charlotte. And Elizabeth Park in Charlotte,
- 19:07Speaker 3: Myers Park in Charlotte, trying to find a place that
- 19:10Speaker 3: we could do live shows from. Nobody has their finger
- 19:12Speaker 3: on the pulse of Charlotte.
- 19:13Speaker 10: No.
- 19:13Speaker 3: It's 7-0-4 like me.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yes, nobody does. The Bucs are 1-5. It's a big game.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I mean, they win this game, they're right back in
- 19:19Speaker 3: that division. Let's get to think about it Thursday.
- 19:26Speaker 2: You know that segment, Talk About It Tuesday, on Hockman, Crowder,
- 19:30Speaker 2: and Solero? This is like that, but bigger and better.
- 19:36Speaker 2: And 48 hours later, this is Think About It Thursday.
- 19:43Speaker 1: All right, this is Taylor's attempt here to counter program
- 19:45Speaker 1: a local show down here in Miami. Hoffman, Solero and Crowder.
- 19:50Speaker 1: What do you have for us today? I think the
- 19:52Speaker 1: audience might like this one. So if they want to participate.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Feel free to do so. 877-99 on Fox. What do
- 19:58Speaker 1: you have for us?
- 19:59Speaker 3: Yeah, Hockman, Crowder, and Solana is going to be a
- 20:00Speaker 3: must-listen for me on the way home. Hearing how Solana
- 20:03Speaker 3: tries to explain away that Heat stinker last night.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You know how he's going to explain it.
- 20:09Speaker 3: One game. We're going to get hot. We lost the
- 20:11Speaker 3: first game in the LeBron-Heatles era, too.
- 20:16Speaker 1: When do you see how Anthony Edwards looks in a
- 20:18Speaker 1: Heat jersey?
- 20:19Speaker 3: That's what Heat fans do with their moves.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 3: They're always on to the next superstar.
- 20:23Speaker 8: Yes.
- 20:24Speaker 3: No, the superstar that beat them the night before. Right.
- 20:26Speaker 3: So the Mount Rushmore, think about it Thursday, this week. Wow.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I tipped the hand a little.
- 20:31Speaker 1: You did.
- 20:33Speaker 3: What is your Mount Rushmore of U.S. sports venues?
- 20:37Speaker 6: Wow. Wow, wow, wow.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I mean, Ricardo would say Marlins Park, right?
- 20:46Speaker 3: He has a list. Oh, does he?
- 20:48Speaker 8: Yep.
- 20:50Speaker 1: All right, so the Mount Rushmore of U.S.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Sports venues.
- 20:55Speaker 1: All right, let's go to 877-99 on Fox.
- 21:03Speaker 3: If you want to participate here.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Mount Rushmore, I'm just thinking of mine here.
- 21:07Speaker 6: Of U.S.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Sports venues. Let's go out to Sherman Oaks first. Monty
- 21:11Speaker 1: has one, yes?
- 21:12Speaker 3: I have a lot. So am I going first?
- 21:14Speaker 12: Am I going what I think is the best or
- 21:17Speaker 12: what I think is universally maybe a favorite?
- 21:20Speaker 3: Well, Mount Rushmore is four.
- 21:22Speaker 8: Four.
- 21:22Speaker 3: So you have to go four, yes. I got to
- 21:24Speaker 3: go four? Are we drafting? Are we doing like a snake?
- 21:27Speaker 3: What are we doing?
- 21:28Speaker 1: No, we're not combining. It's just that's Mount Rushmore Monday.
- 21:31Speaker 1: This is Think About It Thursday. Taylor somehow combined the
- 21:33Speaker 1: two segments. I'm okay with it.
- 21:35Speaker 3: All right, I'm into it. You just have to give
- 21:36Speaker 3: your four. Give my four. Are we going around one
- 21:39Speaker 3: at a time or are we doing all four?
- 21:40Speaker 10: Oh, okay.
- 21:41Speaker 3: You want to do that? I think we should because
- 21:42Speaker 3: you can only pick one venue once, right? Yes.
- 21:45Speaker 1: And once that's picked, it's off the board, right? Well,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I think the point of this segment is for all
- 21:49Speaker 1: of us to agree, right?
- 21:51Speaker 3: Well, my thought process was everybody was going to have
- 21:53Speaker 3: their own Mount Rushmore. All right, so let's do it
- 21:55Speaker 3: four at a time.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Thank you for following up like Israel.
- 21:58Speaker 3: There's probably going to be overlap. There will be overlap, probably, yes.
- 22:02Speaker 12: Okay, I just wanted to make sure that that was like, okay.
- 22:04Speaker 3: All right, so my four then.
- 22:08Speaker 12: You know, I'm going to try and spread it out,
- 22:10Speaker 12: but I think Lambeau Field would have to be up there.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I'm going to put Lambeau up there.
- 22:14Speaker 12: I'm going to put, I have to put Wrigley Field on.
- 22:20Speaker 3: There as well.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah, let me stop you for a second because Bordot
- 22:23Speaker 1: Ricardo back here, Ricky Mantle, when he's a Yankee fan,
- 22:28Speaker 1: when you said Lambeau Field, he said overrated.
- 22:30Speaker 12: Well, listen, I don't know, but I feel like I
- 22:33Speaker 12: would love to do a Lambeau leap. Wrigley, Lambeau, we've
- 22:38Speaker 12: got to put SoFi up there right now. Give me
- 22:40Speaker 12: SoFi Stadium and give.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Me Dodger Stadium.
- 22:46Speaker 6: All right.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I was waiting for that, Montee.
- 22:50Speaker 12: There's some really good baseball parks. I have so many
- 22:53Speaker 12: baseball parks that are so great.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Dodger Stadium is a cathedral. It's a great pick.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Not one of yours is on any of mine.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yes. The guy who invented SoFi Stadium doesn't even think
- 23:04Speaker 3: it's a Mount Rushmore Stadium. I love it. Yes. Ricardo
- 23:08Speaker 3: just said that one's good, though. SoFi is awesome. SoFi
- 23:13Speaker 3: is impressive. It's hard to find your seats, but it's impressive. Taylor,
- 23:16Speaker 3: put it on the poll. Lambo, overrated? iowa sam go
- 23:22Speaker 3: ahead what do you have for us i can't wait
- 23:23Speaker 3: for this.
- 23:24Speaker 9: Well i'm gonna pick uh venues that i've only personally
- 23:27Speaker 9: attended because like i can see them on tv and
- 23:30Speaker 9: be told that they're you know remarkable cathedrals of sports
- 23:33Speaker 9: but i'm gonna go with these four here little uh
- 23:36Speaker 9: hometown bias i'm gonna put kinnick stadium as one of
- 23:39Speaker 9: my picks we knew that of course yes you got
- 23:41Speaker 9: the uh the pink locker rooms you got the children's
- 23:43Speaker 9: hospital there 70 000 uh it's a great sports environment
- 23:46Speaker 9: college football concerts what have you I'm also going to
- 23:49Speaker 9: put Wrigley Field on there. I've been to a couple
- 23:51Speaker 9: of games at Wrigley. It's old, but it is it
- 23:54Speaker 9: is unique and it's one of a kind for those cubbies.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 23:59Speaker 9: I am also, you know, I'm going to put Dodger
- 24:00Speaker 9: Stadium on there as well. Dodger Stadium is really cool.
- 24:03Speaker 9: You look out when the sun is setting, you see
- 24:05Speaker 9: like the palm trees, you see some mountains in the background.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's scenery and sports, I would say.
- 24:10Speaker 9: Yeah, and maybe like BYU Stadium in Provo, you know,
- 24:12Speaker 9: some beautiful places there. I'm also going to put another
- 24:16Speaker 9: college football stadium on there, Camp Randall. I went there
- 24:19Speaker 9: for a game once, and it is incredible. I think
- 24:22Speaker 9: it's like 80,000. But it was originally established as a
- 24:26Speaker 9: Civil War training grounds for Union soldiers. I believe there
- 24:29Speaker 9: was also prisoners of war kept there. And then in
- 24:32Speaker 9: the late 1890s, they established it as an athletic field
- 24:35Speaker 9: and eventually became where the Wisconsin Badgers played football.
- 24:38Speaker 3: So I'm going to put Camp Randall as my fourth entry.
- 24:40Speaker 3: All right. We didn't ask for a history lesson. Well,
- 24:42Speaker 3: there you got it. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Let's go to EP Jason back at Sherman Oaks.
- 24:50Speaker 1: What do you have for us? Best sports venues in
- 24:52Speaker 1: the United States, Jason. By the way, through eight selections,
- 24:56Speaker 1: not one of your eight is on my four.
- 24:58Speaker 3: How about that?
- 24:59Speaker 8: Wow. Huh?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yes. All right, what do you have, Jason?
- 25:02Speaker 4: For the record, of all the sports venues in the
- 25:05Speaker 4: history of sports, Camp Randall made somebody's... I mean, have
- 25:10Speaker 4: you been there?
- 25:11Speaker 3: It's incredible. It's awesome. I'm putting it on my list. Yeah, please.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Road trip.
- 25:16Speaker 4: But you guys talk about scenery and watching a game.
- 25:19Speaker 4: You guys got to go on January 1st to the
- 25:21Speaker 4: Rose Bowl and watch the game with the Sunset Rose Bowl.
- 25:25Speaker 3: That's a great pick. That's a great pick. Fenway.
- 25:30Speaker 4: stadium is on my list yep dodgers to complete the
- 25:34Speaker 4: threesome out here and i'm gonna go lambo as well
- 25:37Speaker 4: i'll go lambo as well nice all right i dare
- 25:41Speaker 4: anybody to top that list.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I will top it um let's go to uh board
- 25:48Speaker 1: out ricardo.
- 25:49Speaker 3: All right, so mine's a little boring, but all baseball.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:52Speaker 3: PNC Park.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Jesus Christ.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Nice.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I do have that one on my list.
- 25:55Speaker 1: No one wants to go to PNC Park.
- 25:57Speaker 11: No one.
- 25:57Speaker 6: What?
- 25:57Speaker 3: Have you seen the scenery there, Stugatz?
- 26:00Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 26:00Speaker 3: All those bridges.
- 26:02Speaker 11: Yep.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Camden Yards. I'll trust you on it. Camden, yes. I'm
- 26:06Speaker 3: going to go with the people in Sherman Oaks and
- 26:08Speaker 3: Dodger Stadium.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Woo!
- 26:09Speaker 3: Yeah. And the Orange Bowl, the old one. Actually, I'm
- 26:12Speaker 3: going to go with Rickwood Field.
- 26:13Speaker 1: That's the oldest ballpark in the world.
- 26:17Speaker 3: And I went to several games there in Birmingham, Alabama.
- 26:21Speaker 3: So the Barons would play there every once in a while.
- 26:23Speaker 3: It was really dope. All right. Sam, no Field of
- 26:25Speaker 3: Dreams stadium for you? Yeah, shocking.
- 26:27Speaker 9: You know, I thought about that and I'm like, it's
- 26:29Speaker 9: turning into like this larger sports complex.
- 26:33Speaker 3: It just made, it just did not make the cut.
- 26:35Speaker 4: You got camp Randall. You can't fit anything in.
- 26:39Speaker 3: And Kenick. Yes. Got to go with my Hawkeyes.
- 26:46Speaker 1: You use a valuable spot on a terrible place that
- 26:49Speaker 1: nobody wants to go to.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Stop it. Big 10 football venues are amazing. I'm teasing you. Taylor,
- 26:56Speaker 3: you're up here. So my Mount Rushmore of us sports
- 26:59Speaker 3: venues is, I'm going to agree with most of the
- 27:03Speaker 3: people here and say Wrigley Field. I think I need
- 27:06Speaker 3: a baseball representative here. And Wrigley would be my choice
- 27:09Speaker 3: there with the Ivy. I'm biased here. I'm going to
- 27:14Speaker 3: say Madison Square Garden, the Mecca, the world's most famous arena.
- 27:17Speaker 3: If someone wanted to argue, though, that MSG was overrated,
- 27:21Speaker 3: I really wouldn't push back. But for me, it's in
- 27:23Speaker 3: my Mount Rushmore.
- 27:24Speaker 8: Right.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I had the Rose Bowl. Yep. But I'm going to
- 27:29Speaker 3: take the Rose Bowl off. Because someone took it. Jason
- 27:31Speaker 3: took it. Yeah. But I do love the Rose Bowl.
- 27:34Speaker 3: I went to a playoff game there, Alabama, Michigan, and delivered. Yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 3: But I want a college representative, so I'm going to
- 27:40Speaker 3: go college basketball. I think the best home court atmosphere
- 27:43Speaker 3: in college basketball, I'm going to go Kansas Allen Fieldhouse.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Good one. And then my fourth.
- 27:51Speaker 7: Interesting.
- 27:52Speaker 3: This one hasn't been picked yet, and I think it's
- 27:55Speaker 3: thinking outside the box. Augusta National.
- 27:58Speaker 1: That's on mine.
- 28:00Speaker 3: You know what?
- 28:00Speaker 1: I wasn't certain of the rules. I didn't know if
- 28:03Speaker 1: we can go golf. I didn't know what we could do.
- 28:05Speaker 1: But since you're saying we can.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I think it's a U.S. sports venue, right? Augusta?
- 28:08Speaker 1: So I would say Churchill Downs. Churchill Downs is on mine. Yeah.
- 28:13Speaker 1: That's one of my four.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I had the Mecca. I had to take it off. Augusta,
- 28:17Speaker 3: I'm not taking off. I refuse to. I refuse to.
- 28:21Speaker 3: It's in pen.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Cameron Indoor for Duke North Carolina game.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I had that on my OLI. That's got to be
- 28:29Speaker 3: in there. With Kinnick Stadium. Yeah, surprise.
- 28:32Speaker 1: So how did Ricardo not say pro player stadium? The
- 28:36Speaker 1: Marlins won two series.
- 28:38Speaker 3: He just said, God, that place was horrible.
- 28:40Speaker 1: The worst. So I have Churchill Downs, Augusta, Cameron Indoor.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Camp Randall's taken.
- 28:52Speaker 3: That's too bad. How about Kinnick? I mean, you can
- 28:54Speaker 3: take either of those if you want. No, I'll let
- 28:57Speaker 3: you keep them. Well, you keep saying Kennec. It's Kennec.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Come on.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Kennec, Kennec, tomato, tomato. Yeah, sure. Potato, potato. I don't
- 29:05Speaker 3: care what they call it. I'm not going to it.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Come on, Stu. Wave to the children. Now you put
- 29:13Speaker 3: me in a bad spot. It is a great tradition.
- 29:16Speaker 6: It is.
- 29:16Speaker 3: It's probably the best tradition. You know what?
- 29:18Speaker 1: I apologize to Monty earlier. You know, when you got
- 29:20Speaker 1: to go, you got to go. And I apologize to
- 29:23Speaker 1: the kids at Iowa.
- 29:24Speaker 3: You're right, Sam. At the end of the first quarter,
- 29:26Speaker 3: you waved to the children. Sold. All right. Kenick Stadium
- 29:29Speaker 3: is my favorite. Kenick, yeah.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Kenick.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Awesome. There's no time like October, and this is what
- 29:37Speaker 3: it's all been for. The World Series is here, streaming
- 29:39Speaker 3: live on Fox. 1.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Rays vs.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Brewers, baseball's biggest stage. Stream it live on Fox 1.
- 29:45Speaker 3: The phone lines are lit up, Taylor.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Before we get to them, though, you told me during
- 29:50Speaker 1: the break that you have an omission. You want to
- 29:51Speaker 1: change your Mount Rushmore of U.S. sports venues. What happened there?
- 29:56Speaker 3: So I have something that would have made my Mount
- 29:58Speaker 3: Rushmore of U.S. sports venues, but because it's not up anymore,
- 30:02Speaker 3: that's why it's not on there.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Old Yankee Stadium. Old Yankee Stadium had the history. It
- 30:08Speaker 3: had the— you went in there every time thinking something special
- 30:12Speaker 3: would happen in Old Yankee Stadium, Disney World only became
- 30:16Speaker 3: the most magical place on Earth when we knocked down
- 30:19Speaker 3: Old Yankee Stadium. Really?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Because before that, it was Yankee Stadium?
- 30:22Speaker 3: The most magical place in the world was Yankee Stadium.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Old Yankee Stadium. And New Yankee Stadium. Right.
- 30:28Speaker 6: Soulless.
- 30:29Speaker 3: It's a soulless building. Put it on the poll, please.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Atstigat790 on X is the happiest place on Earth, Disney World.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Most magical place. Oh, the most.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Magical place on Earth, Yankee Stadium. Disney World, only because
- 30:43Speaker 1: they knocked down the original Yankee Stadium.
- 30:45Speaker 3: I'll figure out how to word that. Yes, that was
- 30:47Speaker 3: a bit wordy right there.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'm so excited we have calls and people who want
- 30:51Speaker 1: to give their Mount Rushmore of U.S. sports venues. Let's
- 30:55Speaker 1: go out to Matt, who's in Philadelphia today.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Matt, go ahead.
- 30:58Speaker 1: You're on Fox Sports Radio.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 31:03Speaker 6: Y'all got to keep the lines open. We love calling.
- 31:05Speaker 6: I'm only 25, but I'm still listening. I'm still calling.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Matt, what I'm telling you, well, thank you. You're
- 31:11Speaker 1: 25 listening to AM radio. We appreciate that. I'm assuming
- 31:13Speaker 1: it's AM radio.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I shouldn't assume.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And you're still willing to call it.
- 31:16Speaker 3: The lines are cooking. Okay, iHeartRadio, great. The lines are
- 31:21Speaker 3: always open.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It's the only reason I wanted to do this was
- 31:23Speaker 1: to have interaction with people who have been listening to
- 31:27Speaker 1: me for nearly two decades or new listeners.
- 31:29Speaker 3: That's it. I want to talk to people.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Anyway, go ahead, Matt.
- 31:32Speaker 13: Yeah, so the Mount Rushmore, even as a Birds fan,
- 31:35Speaker 13: I would love to throw the link in, but Lambeau, definitely.
- 31:39Speaker 13: And I'm surprised that it took so long for somebody
- 31:41Speaker 13: to say Augusta, but Taylor has a free hoop. And
- 31:45Speaker 13: then definitely after that, Wrigley. And probably MSG.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Okay. Yep.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I didn't put MSG on mine. Thank you for the call, Matt.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Only because, I don't know. I've been there a bunch
- 31:57Speaker 1: of times. Been there, done that.
- 31:59Speaker 3: You know?
- 31:59Speaker 1: It's not one I'm clamoring to go to again. It's
- 32:02Speaker 1: always great when I go.
- 32:03Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Taylor?
- 32:05Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Again, if somebody wanted to tell me they thought MSG
- 32:08Speaker 3: was overrated, I'll rant and rave about how much I
- 32:12Speaker 3: love MSG, but if you come away not feeling that impressed,
- 32:15Speaker 3: I would be like, yeah, I'm not really that surprised.
- 32:17Speaker 3: It's just a great location.
- 32:18Speaker 1: How about Notre Dame Stadium? Is that one for you?
- 32:21Speaker 3: It's on the bucket list for sure. All right.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Let's go out to Bobby, who is in South California today.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Excuse me. Go ahead, Bobby.
- 32:28Speaker 1: You're on Fox Sports Radio.
- 32:30Speaker 11: Hey.
- 32:30Speaker 6: How are you guys doing? Good.
- 32:32Speaker 3: How are you?
- 32:33Speaker 8: Hi.
- 32:33Speaker 6: My fault. Good, good. My four are Dodger Stadium, for sure.
- 32:39Speaker 6: The Rose Bowl, which I.
- 32:41Speaker 8: Think you guys already mentioned, and Dodger Stadium.
- 32:45Speaker 6: But Fenway, and my fourth has got to be Indianapolis.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Oh, wow, that's a good one.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I didn't think of that.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Taylor, are you interested in the Indy 500?
- 32:59Speaker 8: No.
- 33:03Speaker 3: I got to watch paint dry instead. Really?
- 33:05Speaker 1: But you're not, but you wouldn't be interested in stepping
- 33:10Speaker 1: on the speedway.
- 33:10Speaker 3: I mean, just going, I would, I would experience it.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Like I went to Daytona 500 with, with Billy Gill
- 33:16Speaker 3: and that was pretty fun. Did you really?
- 33:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 10: Huh?
- 33:21Speaker 3: He wanted it to be like Billy NASCAR or something.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I forget what his name was that week.
- 33:25Speaker 1: He was getting paid to do it, wasn't he?
- 33:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a sponsored trip. Let's be honest.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yes. 877-99-HOT-FOX. Let's go to James, who's in Montana today.
- 33:35Speaker 3: James, go ahead. You're on Fox Sports Radio.
- 33:39Speaker 6: Yeah, thanks for having me on, Stu. My wife and
- 33:41Speaker 6: I just recently completed stadiums 28 and 29 in the NFL.
- 33:46Speaker 6: So my Mount Rushmore would be NFL stadiums. Yeah, we
- 33:50Speaker 6: got one more to go, and it's SoFi. I guess
- 33:53Speaker 6: they're having a game at the end of the year
- 33:54Speaker 6: at SoFi, so we're begging for some tickets there.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Anyway, Rambo. You guys went on a trip to MetLife?
- 34:04Speaker 6: You know, MetLife has a great backdrop. You can't beat
- 34:06Speaker 6: that backdrop. Come on. We actually saw the first game
- 34:09Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers played with the Jets there on 9-11. That
- 34:13Speaker 6: doesn't get much better than that, right?
- 34:15Speaker 1: Well, he tore his Achilles a couple of plays later.
- 34:17Speaker 1: It was terrible, yes, and the backdrop is a swamp.
- 34:19Speaker 1: But anyway, go ahead. I'm sorry.
- 34:21Speaker 6: Yeah, the best three-and-a-half plays ever. Lambeau, for sure. They
- 34:25Speaker 6: just have the greatest history, Hall of Fame, things in
- 34:28Speaker 6: the stadium. Just awesome around the stadium. My wife loved
- 34:32Speaker 6: Ford Field in Detroit. because of everything they have inside.
- 34:36Speaker 6: I don't know if you guys have been there. That's
- 34:37Speaker 6: a great stadium. AT & T, they have the party pass, $ 85.
- 34:41Speaker 6: You get in. You don't have a seat. You go
- 34:43Speaker 6: to the bar. You watch the game. You watch the Jumbotron.
- 34:45Speaker 6: It's awesome.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Last one. Last one quickly.
- 34:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Yeah, Soldier Field.
- 34:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 34:52Speaker 1: I trust you on Ford Field. The problem is what's
- 34:54Speaker 1: outside of Ford Field. It's a city that I don't
- 34:59Speaker 1: want to be in.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company
- 35:04Speaker 2: live weekdays at 3 p.m.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Eastern, 12 p.m. Pacific.
- 35:10Speaker 1: The Bear and T-Bob going to join us in about
- 35:12Speaker 1: 20 minutes, 20, 25 minutes. Get you ready for a
- 35:14Speaker 1: big college football weekend coming up. Tell, are you excited
- 35:19Speaker 1: for tonight's game? Man, the NFL has given us a
- 35:21Speaker 1: good one on a Thursday night. Patriots at Bears, huh? Yeah,
- 35:24Speaker 1: it is a good one. I still have, I'm thinking
- 35:26Speaker 1: back to that last caller who had Ford Field in
- 35:29Speaker 1: his Mount Rushmore of NFL stadiums, dude.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Yes, yep. And I have to be honest, I checked
- 35:33Speaker 3: out once he said that because I have PTSD when
- 35:35Speaker 3: it comes to Ford Field.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Yes.
- 35:37Speaker 3: One of my worst memories as a college football player
- 35:41Speaker 3: was in 2014 in the Quicklane Bowl where North Carolina
- 35:45Speaker 3: went to Detroit to take on Rutgers and Rutgers beat
- 35:49Speaker 3: us 40 to 21 the day after Christmas the day
- 35:53Speaker 3: after having to spend a week in Detroit Rutgers the
- 35:59Speaker 3: worst Christmas I ever had was sitting in a hotel
- 36:02Speaker 3: room in Detroit getting ready for a Rutgers bowl game
- 36:05Speaker 3: where they wound up kicking our tails.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Was that Shiano's first time around at Rutgers uh was
- 36:11Speaker 1: it Shiano that's a good question I mean they were
- 36:16Speaker 1: Did you say that on air, Iowa Sam?
- 36:18Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry. I was just thinking out loud into
- 36:19Speaker 3: your ear. He should have said it on air. He
- 36:21Speaker 3: got it right. It was Kyle Flood.
- 36:23Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 36:24Speaker 9: But yes, but you said don't quote you on that.
- 36:26Speaker 9: I know, but I was saying, you know, as a
- 36:27Speaker 9: reference point, and I was correct. Kyle Flood, who's now Texas'
- 36:31Speaker 9: offensive coordinator. I messed with that Arch Manning situation.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Iowa Sam, I don't care what it is you have
- 36:36Speaker 1: to say. Just say it on the air.
- 36:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I got you.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Even if it's behind the scenes?
- 36:40Speaker 6: All right.
- 36:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Buying the current stuff.
- 36:43Speaker 10: Okay.
- 36:44Speaker 3: That was probably the third worst moment that ever happened
- 36:47Speaker 3: to me playing football at the University of North Carolina.
- 36:49Speaker 3: The top two, Stu. Yeah. We lost to ECU in 2013,
- 36:55Speaker 3: 55 to 31.
- 36:56Speaker 1: The Pirates.
- 36:57Speaker 3: And that was when Lincoln Riley was their offensive coordinator
- 37:00Speaker 3: in 2013. He was like this hotshot coordinator putting up
- 37:03Speaker 3: 55 points at little... ECU in Greenville against North Carolina if.
- 37:06Speaker 1: He's not careful he'll have to go back there to
- 37:08Speaker 1: be their head coach.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Yeah and I know I know people are thinking right
- 37:11Speaker 3: now Taylor what gets worse than losing 55 to 31
- 37:14Speaker 3: to ECU in 2013.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I gotta be honest I didn't think anything was worse
- 37:17Speaker 1: than losing to Rutgers.
- 37:18Speaker 3: That way so what could be worse than losing 55
- 37:22Speaker 3: to 31 to ECU losing 70 to 41 to ECU
- 37:26Speaker 3: the following year they had your number and the crowd
- 37:30Speaker 3: in Greenville you don't know what humble pie tastes like
- 37:34Speaker 3: until you're sitting on a sideline in greenville and the
- 37:37Speaker 3: ecu crowd is chanting we want 70 at.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You what did it taste like shame.
- 37:45Speaker 3: It tasted like get me back on this bus and
- 37:47Speaker 3: get me back to chapel hill i don't want to
- 37:48Speaker 3: be here and it's like one of those moments where
- 37:52Speaker 3: when you're going to ecu part of your mind is
- 37:54Speaker 3: like i'm not playing in this game i'm just thinking
- 37:56Speaker 3: about what parties i'm going to be at later and
- 37:59Speaker 3: then when you're back on that bus it's like man
- 38:01Speaker 3: they're not going to let any football players into any
- 38:03Speaker 3: parties when, when you get sat down by ECU and
- 38:07Speaker 3: Shane Cardin. Yes.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Uh, but I I'm wondering on your team, did anyone
- 38:11Speaker 1: have the stones?
- 38:12Speaker 3: You just say, Hey, we're not good.
- 38:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Hey, I'm going out anyway. What's coach going to do?
- 38:17Speaker 6: Right?
- 38:18Speaker 3: Nah, everybody, everybody was bad.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Everybody was licking their wounds still when Shane Cardin absolutely
- 38:24Speaker 3: destroyed that team. Like sneaky. It's a sneaky, good team.
- 38:28Speaker 3: It was, uh, Zay Jones, Justin Hardy, a lot of
- 38:32Speaker 3: guys that wound up making it to the NFL.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Iowa Sam, if you don't mind, on mic, please, so
- 38:38Speaker 1: the audience can hear.
- 38:39Speaker 3: How did you know that? About Kyle Flood and Rutgers? Yeah. How?
- 38:44Speaker 6: Why?
- 38:45Speaker 3: Yes. How?
- 38:47Speaker 9: I was thinking about any Rutgers coaches that have taken
- 38:50Speaker 9: in the bowl games, and it's like Greg Sciano, and
- 38:52Speaker 9: I think the only other name is Kyle Flood over.
- 38:55Speaker 3: The last 25 years.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Is there a wealth of college football knowledge sitting in
- 39:00Speaker 1: Sherman Oaks that we're not using correctly?
- 39:02Speaker 3: Is that a.
- 39:03Speaker 9: Wealth of useless knowledge? But yes, it's here. It's up
- 39:05Speaker 9: in my noggin in the dusty archives. But it seems
- 39:10Speaker 9: to be a wealth of useless college football knowledge.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes.
- 39:13Speaker 9: Useful at times like just now, but mostly useless. But yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 9: Kyle Flood.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeah. So where Sam had it dead right is you
- 39:22Speaker 3: look at the list of coaches that have coached ruckers
- 39:24Speaker 3: to a bowl game yes It's Frank R. Burns in
- 39:29Speaker 3: 1978 coaching the Scarlet Knights to the Garden State Bowl.
- 39:32Speaker 8: Of course.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Then it's Shiano. Shiano had that amazing run in the 2000s.
- 39:38Speaker 3: And then Kyle Flood's the only other one.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I was thinking during that call the reaction I would
- 39:43Speaker 1: get from my wife if I asked her to take
- 39:45Speaker 1: an NFL stadium tour.
- 39:47Speaker 3: You don't think it would go well? I don't think
- 39:51Speaker 3: it would go at all. You wouldn't even bring that
- 39:53Speaker 3: to the table.
- 39:55Speaker 8: No.
- 39:58Speaker 3: I mean, why would she want to do that? There
- 40:01Speaker 3: are certain stadium tours I feel like you would be
- 40:03Speaker 3: able to talk your way into, like a Wrigley Field
- 40:06Speaker 3: or a Fenway Park where you're talking about the history
- 40:09Speaker 3: of all of it. And it's like, okay, maybe on
- 40:11Speaker 3: a nice day you could convince her to go on
- 40:13Speaker 3: a walk around somewhere like Fenway Park.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I have for dead shows. She's been to all these venues.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Not to see sports, though, to see music. The Swamp
- 40:24Speaker 1: is a good venue, by the way. Have you been
- 40:26Speaker 1: to the Swamp?
- 40:27Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 3: In Gainesville? It's great. Yeah, I took an official visit
- 40:30Speaker 3: there when I was getting recruited for track. It was
- 40:33Speaker 3: a terrible game, though. This just shows where I was
- 40:35Speaker 3: on their list of recruits that weekend. You're thinking, oh,
- 40:40Speaker 3: you're going to save the LSU games. You're going to
- 40:42Speaker 3: save the Auburn games, the Georgia games, even though that
- 40:45Speaker 3: one's out of neutral field. But you're going to save
- 40:47Speaker 3: those big, high-profile games for your big recruits to try
- 40:50Speaker 3: to woo them. When I went to Gainesville, it was
- 40:52Speaker 3: a game against Furman.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Oh, wow, that's bad.
- 40:54Speaker 3: It was bad, yeah. Furman almost upset them, too.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Why would you go to the Furman game? I mean,
- 41:01Speaker 1: just out of curiosity.
- 41:02Speaker 3: That was the only game they would invite me to.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Oh, okay, that's right.
- 41:07Speaker 3: It wasn't me choosing it, yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yes, the Swamp is not the same when they're playing
- 41:11Speaker 1: Furman as it is when they're playing Florida State or
- 41:14Speaker 1: Miami or Alabama or Mississippi.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Florida won that day 54-32 to finish 6-5 on
- 41:22Speaker 3: the season. It was John Brantley. What a terrible quarterback
- 41:27Speaker 3: John Brantley was. No disrespect to John Brantley.
- 41:30Speaker 1: No, we love John Brantley. You can't say no disrespect
- 41:36Speaker 1: to John Brantley after calling him. A terrible quarterback. You
- 41:40Speaker 1: can't do that, and I'm proud of you.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you were listing the best quarterbacks that
- 41:44Speaker 3: have played for the Florida Gators the past two decades.
- 41:49Speaker 1: T-Bubby won, right?
- 41:50Speaker 3: John Brantley knows that he's at the bottom of that list.
- 41:53Speaker 1: The way bottom, you're saying?
- 41:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Danny Werfel.
- 41:57Speaker 3: I mean, Chris Leak. I don't know why I'm just-
- 41:59Speaker 3: DJ Lagway would probably like a word.
- 42:00Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 42:00Speaker 3: That's the worst.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Where is he now?
- 42:02Speaker 3: Yes, that's the worst.
- 42:03Speaker 6: Baylor.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Baylor, right. Bust. Is he playing well at Baylor? Oh,
- 42:07Speaker 3: they had a bad loss this past weekend. They were, like,
- 42:10Speaker 3: on the come-up, and then everybody was like, oh, they're
- 42:13Speaker 3: playing a down TCU team, a TCU team that lost
- 42:16Speaker 3: to Bill Belichick. This is DJ Lagway's chance to reemerge
- 42:19Speaker 3: on the national spotlight. Lost 17-6.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Oh, that's too bad. The game tonight, though. You're intrigued, right?
- 42:26Speaker 1: Bears and Patriots?
- 42:27Speaker 3: Yeah, was that the initial question? Yeah, I'm intrigued by
- 42:29Speaker 3: the Bears and Patriots.
- 42:31Speaker 1: And then you took us through the history of your
- 42:34Speaker 1: playing days as a walk-on at North Carolina and the
- 42:38Speaker 1: terrible losses to Rutgers and twice to East Carolina.
- 42:42Speaker 3: No Kyle Menunga tonight, though, for the Bears, so you
- 42:44Speaker 3: wonder how that's going to... What do you think about
- 42:46Speaker 3: them handing out mustaches for the Mike Ditka game? It
- 42:49Speaker 3: felt like they had the chance for the Mike Ditka
- 42:51Speaker 3: game already. I know this is their, I'm assuming this
- 42:53Speaker 3: is their first home game since Ditka's passing, but it
- 42:56Speaker 3: felt like their window for the Ditka game and honoring
- 43:00Speaker 3: Ditka's legacy was that Packers game, the first one, and
- 43:03Speaker 3: they got run out of the building there.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Well, so what's the timing on this? Like, did he
- 43:07Speaker 1: pass away before that Packers game?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Yeah, right before it. And it was a home game. Yep,
- 43:12Speaker 3: I believe Dick could pass away on a Friday, and
- 43:14Speaker 3: then they lost that Sunday to the Packers.
- 43:17Speaker 1: It was in Green Bay.
- 43:18Speaker 3: In Green Bay. On the air that time. Yeah, okay.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yes, Lambeau Field. It was at Lambeau Field.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Yes, Lambeau.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Speaking of Lambeau Field, so I started thinking about Taylor's
- 43:28Speaker 1: Think About It Thursday, and I understand why Montse was confused.
- 43:32Speaker 1: If it's Mount Rushmore Monday, it's odd to have Think
- 43:35Speaker 1: About It Thursday and ask a Mount Rushmore question, which
- 43:38Speaker 1: is something we do on Monday.
- 43:39Speaker 3: So I want to try it again, Sam. Give me
- 43:41Speaker 3: the image here.
- 43:44Speaker 2: You know that segment, Talk About It Tuesday, on Hockman, Crowder,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and Solero? This is like that, but bigger and better.
- 43:53Speaker 2: And 48 hours later, this is Think About It Thursday.
- 44:00Speaker 3: All right. 877-99 on Fox.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Now, I think Ricardo, because he's followed my career and
- 44:07Speaker 1: our show, me and Dan, for many, many years, he's
- 44:10Speaker 1: the only one who will be excited about this, okay?
- 44:13Speaker 1: I used to play a game on the radio called
- 44:15Speaker 1: three and only three.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Okay.
- 44:20Speaker 1: So I want to try this out because this is
- 44:23Speaker 1: think about it.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Thursday.
- 44:24Speaker 1: You gave us a Mount Rushmore Monday.
- 44:26Speaker 3: You merge segments. I don't know why I'm so mad
- 44:30Speaker 3: at you for doing this. I shouldn't be. It's not
- 44:32Speaker 3: that important.
- 44:35Speaker 1: It's your topic.
- 44:38Speaker 3: You came up with the idea.
- 44:39Speaker 1: I should let you do whatever it is you want
- 44:41Speaker 1: to do. I'll think about it Thursday, but not today.
- 44:45Speaker 1: So I used to play this game three and only three.
- 44:47Speaker 6: All right?
- 44:49Speaker 1: If I told you guys, Taylor, Ricardo, everyone in Sherman Oaks,
- 44:56Speaker 1: you go to your local grocery store, and you can
- 45:01Speaker 1: only purchase three items in the food and beverage category
- 45:07Speaker 1: at the supermarket. And those three items... have to last
- 45:11Speaker 1: you 30 days you get a 30-day supply but you
- 45:15Speaker 1: can only choose three items what three items in the
- 45:20Speaker 1: supermarket would you choose you have follow-up.
- 45:22Speaker 14: Quick follow-up question do i have seasoning already whatever's in
- 45:26Speaker 14: your house stays in your house except for the food
- 45:30Speaker 14: and the beverages i throw all that away it's a
- 45:33Speaker 14: waste of food it's a waste of drink i throw
- 45:35Speaker 14: them all away okay But your spices are there.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Your utensils are there. Napkins are there. Toilet paper.
- 45:43Speaker 3: You're covered.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You just don't have food and you don't have beverages.
- 45:46Speaker 1: And you need to get through 30 days on three things.
- 45:52Speaker 1: What three things are you walking into the supermarket and purchasing?
- 45:57Speaker 3: It's tricky. Now that's a think about it Thursday. So
- 45:59Speaker 3: you said it's tricky?
- 46:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Ricardo just threw his pen down emphatically after writing something.
- 46:04Speaker 3: He goes, that was easy.
- 46:05Speaker 6: Really?
- 46:05Speaker 8: Really.
- 46:06Speaker 3: I came up with mine pretty quick, too. I got three. Wow.
- 46:09Speaker 3: We're ready. Oh, wow. I've never seen this group more prepared.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Hold on a second.
- 46:14Speaker 1: I didn't think anyone was listening back there.
- 46:18Speaker 3: We're on it. Amazing.
- 46:20Speaker 8: I know.
- 46:20Speaker 3: I'm impressed. Wait, it was that easy for you guys, huh?
- 46:26Speaker 3: The staples, man. They're in the cupboard.
- 46:30Speaker 9: I know what makes the list. I know what makes
- 46:31Speaker 9: the list every time I need to go to the
- 46:33Speaker 9: grocery store.
- 46:34Speaker 6: Right.
- 46:36Speaker 3: But Sam, I don't want to go 30 days.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I don't want to live, you know, in a world
- 46:40Speaker 1: in which I have to go 30 days without those
- 46:42Speaker 1: Goldberry gummy bears.
- 46:44Speaker 3: I know that's something you'll have to give up. I'm
- 46:45Speaker 3: thinking of like, I don't have to.
- 46:47Speaker 9: Well, if you want it, if you want Haribo gummy
- 46:50Speaker 9: bears for an entire month, you go, go for it.
- 46:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 46:52Speaker 9: Your nutrition might suffer a little bit, but I mean, sugar,
- 46:55Speaker 9: you can burn it in your body. So you survive,
- 46:58Speaker 9: I guess.
- 46:58Speaker 3: You've got two gods being a pillar of health. You
- 47:00Speaker 3: had me thinking like that.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Right.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Hmm. Sugar, and I don't know about much else nutritionally.
- 47:06Speaker 3: It is an opportunity to get healthy for me. It is.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I mean, if I choose the right snacks. Lose some pounds, yeah.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Or die. Starve yourself a little bit.
- 47:14Speaker 1: All right, so let's go to Monsi first here.
- 47:18Speaker 12: All right, so I could, like, can I say, like,
- 47:22Speaker 12: a case of water?
- 47:24Speaker 3: Is that an item?
- 47:26Speaker 1: If you say water, I'm telling you, you get a
- 47:28Speaker 1: 30-day supply of water.
- 47:29Speaker 6: Okay.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Okay, so water.
- 47:30Speaker 6: Water.
- 47:31Speaker 8: Okay.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Water. Don't we already have water coming out of the faucet?
- 47:34Speaker 3: I don't want water out of the faucet. I drink
- 47:36Speaker 3: tap water. See, that's why, Sam, now you're thinking, Sam.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Do we have that option? We do have that option? Yeah,
- 47:40Speaker 3: you should have the option of tap water. You can
- 47:42Speaker 3: run your faucet. You have ice. You can use tap water. Yes, Sam,
- 47:45Speaker 3: that's why to.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Think about it Thursday. I'm not going to waste your
- 47:48Speaker 1: pick on water, bottled water. So, Monty, I'll give you
- 47:51Speaker 1: a chance here to, you know, take water off your
- 47:54Speaker 1: list if you want. If you had to survive on
- 47:57Speaker 1: tap water, you'd be fine.
- 47:58Speaker 12: I would be, but you're telling me, like, I get
- 48:00Speaker 12: to pick the three, because you're going to throw everything
- 48:02Speaker 12: else out of my.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Fridge, right? Is what you said?
- 48:06Speaker 12: So it's like the three things I walk out of.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Like I would get a case of water.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah, let me apologize to you for a second time.
- 48:13Speaker 1: It's your 30 days.
- 48:14Speaker 3: It's your list.
- 48:14Speaker 1: It's your three items.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Okay, I'm sorry. No, no, you're good. Sam's trying to
- 48:18Speaker 3: get me to drink tap water.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I don't want that. Well, he's just trying to get
- 48:21Speaker 1: you to think because it's a think about it Thursday.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Exactly, yeah. Think twice. I am thinking.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I am thinking.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I don't want soda. I guess you're telling me to
- 48:27Speaker 3: get more food.
- 48:28Speaker 12: Fine, I'll get more food instead of water so I
- 48:31Speaker 12: can drink your tap water.
- 48:32Speaker 3: It's about survival here. It's about survival.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Again, our apologies. Your list, your 30 days. He's just
- 48:38Speaker 1: pointing out that you have tap water.
- 48:40Speaker 3: It's something that you already have.
- 48:42Speaker 7: Yes, yes.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Okay. Fine, fine. Then I would take apples, bread, and cheese,
- 48:48Speaker 3: and I could live off of that for a month.
- 48:50Speaker 3: That's a good list.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Apples, bread, cheese, and tap water.
- 48:53Speaker 3: That's it. I could live off of that for a month.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Let's go to Iowa Sam. I can't wait to hear this.
- 49:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 49:01Speaker 9: I've got ground coffee because even if I'm locked in
- 49:04Speaker 9: my apartment with only three items, I'm still going to
- 49:06Speaker 9: enjoy my coffee.
- 49:08Speaker 3: I can boil my coffee.
- 49:09Speaker 1: You're allowed to go outside and purchase coffee if you like.
- 49:11Speaker 8: What?
- 49:12Speaker 9: I thought you said these were the grocery store must-haves.
- 49:15Speaker 3: Okay fine you know what let's change the rules as
- 49:17Speaker 3: we go in the apartment.
- 49:19Speaker 1: I always am it's your 30 days all right it's
- 49:21Speaker 1: your three i'm locked away 30 days three items i
- 49:23Speaker 1: gotta get the grocery store to last me a month

- 49:28Speaker 1: it make coffee i'm gonna go also with cheese nice
- 49:31Speaker 1: okay protein source it's tasty it never gets old for
- 49:34Speaker 1: me And I'm going to go with.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Bread as something you can put the cheese on the bread.
- 49:38Speaker 3: It's carbohydrate. Keep it going. It's enough fiber, I guess.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Apples were a good choice. Grilled cheese. Are you guys mice? Like,
- 49:45Speaker 3: what are you eating? No, but I am a vegetarian.
- 49:49Speaker 3: So that's why. I am a vegetarian. So that's why
- 49:51Speaker 3: it was easy for me.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Monty, hold on a second. For a third time today, Taylor,
- 49:55Speaker 1: you apologize.
- 49:55Speaker 3: I apologize, Monty. This is your experience.
- 50:05Speaker 1: We're sorry.
- 50:07Speaker 3: No, I'm never coming back. Don't worry about it. All right.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Does EP Jason have one here?
- 50:10Speaker 3: I need a chicken. One of those rotisserie chickens.
- 50:14Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Yes, some meat. Some poultry, yes.
- 50:17Speaker 4: Meat? I like green apples, and then I need a
- 50:20Speaker 4: chocolate sauce, and I'm going to throw everybody off by
- 50:23Speaker 4: saying a whatchamacallit bar.
- 50:25Speaker 1: For 30 days, right? So a 30-day supply of whatchamacallit bars.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Yes, classic.
- 50:30Speaker 8: What?
- 50:30Speaker 1: I'm not. mozzie i'm not certain uh that a watchamacall

- 50:49Speaker 1: to ricardo uh he slammed down his pen he said
- 50:51Speaker 1: it was easy it took him two seconds to come
- 50:53Speaker 1: up with his three things that he would purchase from
- 50:56Speaker 1: the grocery store that he has the last 30 days on.
- 50:59Speaker 3: What do you have? As a Cuban from Miami, white rice,
- 51:02Speaker 3: black beans, follow me, Abby Steak.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Oh, that was easy for you. Nice.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Yes. That sounds good every day.
- 51:08Speaker 1: He's good at thinking.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Now I'm judging my list. I'm second guessing.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Listen, when you do three and only three, you don't
- 51:19Speaker 1: want to go after Ricardo.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. Man, I'm in a tough spot right now.
- 51:26Speaker 1: You are in a tough spot i mean you have
