No, I literally and my dad was even talking about it yesterday and I was like, I looked you in the eyes and I said, because they're paying for it. So like, fine. I I would rather not and just have like a small ceremony in the church. And then like, you feel free to give us what you think we could have spent the wedding. And he was like, no, come to find out because my mom was like, no. So he was saying something about, ⁓ had to buy, I bought all like the vases or something on Amazon. And he said, what are you buying on Amazon now? And I looked at him and I said, ⁓ told you, said, you could have picked the number. And I wouldn't have argued with anything. You could have picked the number. It could have been low. I don't care. You really didn't even have to give me anything. I said, but I told you, said, so you don't get to complain about what I'm spending. I guess maybe he does. I don't know. But I did give him. I willing not to have the big wedding. yeah, your mom wants it. My mom wants it. Which I think I would have fought it more. I don't think I could have done it, but I was talking to my friend Taylor who's getting married a month before us and she was like, she was like, yeah, I thought the same thing and like I'm stressed, but like, I don't know if I'm gonna regret it when, you know, down the line, if we didn't do the big wedding. I was like. I'm not, I don't like being the center of attention. So like they're even talking about like at school, they were like, we got to give you something. And I was like, no, thank you. I was like, you know, I was like, I'm okay. So well, I don't know. Yeah, well, at least, you know. I mean, you're gonna like, I think it's gonna be fun. Yeah, I'm not gonna regret it. I but also my personality is a very much like when things get too hard, I tend to just give up and I can't just give up. So this is my best friend. We're like, yeah, it's okay. You're good. like, yeah, really? We enable each other. You don't need to do it. You don't need to. Yeah. No, you'll, you'll appreciate it. mean, I know. And you'll just, I mean, it's just one day. Like, I know. The end of it. And then you'll get to go on your honeymoon and then you have forever to look forward to. So. Yeah. We made, I told him something yesterday. said, I said, we're gonna start like a tally mark system for every time you annoy me once you get to 10, like really annoy me, like annoy me to the point I'm just like, I need you to walk away. I was like, you get to 10 and then you have to take me to Disney. And he was like, okay. And then he said, every time you, cause I'm like, you know, I'm not a morning person. Every time you snap at me in the morning when you don't want to talk to me, I get a tally mark and then we get to go to a UT football game. And I was like, that sounds fantastic. Honestly, that should be part of your, if you do the bedding thing, that needs to be part, that needs to be one of them. But like how? We're doing the bedding thing. Right. Okay. So then. But it's day of stuff. Well, but it doesn't have to be set it up as like a long who's going. So yeah, like who's going to get their trip first? Who's going to get there? And mine is a lot obviously a lot more expensive than his, but. So no, it's the wedding, think, and like I'm focusing on things that matter to me when it comes to like the reception and stuff. and things I just don't care about, which I hope no one, know, like we're not doing a sit down dinner and I just hope no one really cares. Like, don't know who would. Right, they do, who cares? It's like go, I don't know, order Chick-fil-A. I don't know what to tell you. just, yeah, the food's gonna be good. It's just not gonna be a sit down dinner. Yeah. So, but yeah, I think the Disney trip will be a good moment of no wedding planning happening. So we'll see though. else happening in the world? I mean, yeah, but just, don't know. And I know like, ⁓ how I get with Disney trips though. It's like you almost like, I almost feel like most of the planning is done already. So I'm already a little bit sad because like part the fun of it for me is the planning part. And I'm like, well, now we just sit and wait, I guess until soon. Well, we still got it. We can still think of. know, lightning lane strategies, I guess. Yeah. But no, don't know. It's just like ⁓ like it's it's busy and it's stressful, but like it's all happening so fast. And once it's over, I know I'm going to miss. Be sad. of it. ⁓ sad. Where I don't know if we've said it on the podcast, but like I saw some stuff on TikTok where like Bachelorettes and Maid of Honors are reaching out to companies like to their PR thing and like they're getting stuff back. I'm not sure if they, I'm not sure if it's people who actually have a following and they're getting, cause people are getting stuff back. I'm not sure what they're sending. I'm not sure like, how they're getting it, but like people are getting stuff back. We haven't gotten anything. We've gotten a code, but like we have a list of like 40 And over here has been the real MVP sending all the emails. I don't know, but even like codes for like we got a code for I'm gonna say it wrong again. I said beach bum last time. Sun bum. Sun Sun bum and barefoot dreams gave us a code. Oh, that's what I was gonna look up. What's barefoot dreams? See, I don't even know some of these things. We just asked our good friend Chad. But I know like you specifically have, oh yeah, you said it was closed. You specifically get sick. Feel like on almost every trip. Yeah, because you go too hard. Yeah. Yeah, so if you with the emergency, know, I Feel like you could well lately. I've just been taking like vitamin C gummies, but Because I honestly don't oh they have vitamin. They have the gummies too. Okay, so anything I just don't hold on. I don't like the flavor. Yeah, I get it. I get that Sorry guys. I think that'll be a good one to add, at least for you. Yes. Looking their PR email. Well, I think that's it on like the best threat update. I've got to make our I'm to do our transportation sometime this week. I might even do it tonight when I get home. We're going to try a new company. I might reach out to them on Instagram, actually, and see because they're kind of a smaller business before I book. see if they could give us a code or anything. That would be helpful, even just a discount code like I know how that works, but yeah, yeah. So yeah, we're gonna use like a private, I wanted to use like a private car company to get from the airport because like the day of we've got, we wanna go to the character outlet mall, none of us have ever been to, but like, feel like most of us have heard about it. It's just a, ⁓ an Disney outlet store, but it's, it has stuff from the parks discontinued at the store. So you find a bunch of different things. We wanna do that. And then we also wanna go to Disney Springs. and then we're going to do our monorail progressive dinner that night. So it's kind of a packed first day. So I figured using this private car company will take us to the outlet mall and then go drop our stuff off at Bell Services. So I just figured, and it's, think when I looked at it compared to Mears, was $20 more per person, which for me, the convenience. $20 for the convenience of that and not having to go to Saratoga Springs and then check it check our stuff and then get into a lift and go to that limo it just made more sense to just do it because I don't know. And it's already a lot. It's already a lot. And we just want to try and make everything the least complicated as possible. Plus looking at lifts, it's apparently harder to find lifts for five people. They're more expensive. Yeah. So if we could only worry about having to take one lift from Mount Lit Malls instead of taking two, we might have a better chance of not having to deal with the issue of that. So yeah, I'm gonna look into that. I need to message them. That's a good idea. Alright. Dee, are you... is payment for, like, is it due at booking? Yeah. Okay, so we need to get you... I mean, I'll pay for it and then everybody can pay me back. Kind of like the Lightning Lanes. Yeah. But we won't know the Lightning Lanes until I actually... Because they change daily. Right. But that's... I have an average... End of May. Yeah. ⁓ ⁓ I don't know. think it's going to be easier. I'm thinking like budgeting wise, it might be easier for me to just pay you at the end of May when you book them versus in June when we go because like for June, I'm trying to set that aside as like basically just like food and like while we're actually here and trying to get all the other stuff out of the way ahead of time if that makes sense. But okay. No, I figured everyone would just pay me for the lightning lanes when we book them. Okay. Yeah. Because it's kind of a big expense. Like it's not. It'll be close to I don't have my paper in front of me. It's me like 100, probably 120. I had to take a guess. I can look at it. Real quick. Bad indigestion. It just depends like you said, because it I need the peppermints. Yeah, it just depends. and then like also... Just do a random Wednesday April Magic Kingdom 37 for the multi pass and then 22 neither of us are fast math people 39 59 so 59 plus That one's easy 59 plus 44 now that's hard 59 plus 44. I'm already out Calculator I you could probably figure it. She's like a rain man when it comes to math, I swear. I'm like, how did you figure that out? was, well, this plus this minus this plus, I'm like, what? Okay. So if we go based off of this, it's $160 for the single pass at every park and the multi pass at every park. Now still debating on doing the multi pass for Epcot. Right. And that would just knock off $25. Oh, well. We're just talking about $25. So I'm paying, if I'm paying 160 for all five of us, I'm paying, you know, that's a lot. $800. Mm hmm. Which even saying that out loud makes me cringe a little, but that's okay. That's okay. I have saved it. I have it. So I'll be okay. Um. But yeah. Okay. else? Don't think so. right. Well, I know we have a lot of Dreamlight Valley news. Yeah. And then I'm so I'm going to go through like the Disney news today. OK. So OK, Chad, what is it? A festival, an Epcot Festival removal effective April 6th. Remove? what? Yeah. They're changing something in Flower and Garden Festival. Well, and while it may not be the kind of removal guests typically expect it is happening immediately. It's subtle. Let me see. on. credit. Festival's rotating food experience is officially being removed. The early bloom menu at the Farmers Feast outdoor kitchen is no longer available. I don't even know what that is. Okay, they always make it sound clickbaity. I know, Chad. Disney has ended the temporary bus restriction. Oh, okay. So it was already ended. Translation, easier movement, again, for guests during busy periods. don't, low key. ⁓ I don't mind it. Like I wouldn't have minded. If that if they kept it if they kept it. OK, but here's where that gets tricky and like. Yes, like I see I see pros and cons to it because. Pro you know you don't the buses aren't as crowded. Yeah, but con. You still have so many people in Orlando who are not staying on property going to Disney World, right? And it it forces them. to get a lift. Like it takes away that like of convenience, right? That ease of getting in between getting places. Yeah. I don't know. I just wonder how much of the bus traffic. Well, for spring break, I guess it makes sense. Well, it's mostly for Easter is what it said leading up to Easter week. I feel like everyone's just going to hear me coughing the whole time. Sorry. ⁓ spring break and Easter. But then another piece of the news is that like the spring break crowds aren't going away. Like they normally, you normally see a lull towards the end of April and like based on trajectory, like it's still going to be crowded. That's wild. Okay. So like obviously I'm gonna say something probably really controversial We are in an economic crisis No, we're not no, we're not no, we're not no, we're like Are people are people just don't care and they're just putting stuff on their credit card and they don't care Yeah, like that honestly just might be it but I'm just like Okay, like where's the economic crisis? Y'all are spending how much? I know how much we're spending to go, but it's different. Like to me, like, yeah, we're spending about a thousand dollars a person for, know, but if you were to look at put, put a family in this same room, that's a family spending $5,000 as opposed to five adults spending a thousand dollars per house. know? So it's like, ⁓ don't know. don't know. But so yeah, I a real last week. was like, Our husband said we couldn't afford Disney, so we saved 50 % and went without them. Olivia said she wants to make one, so she was like, we need to get all the guys together. She goes, I don't think it'll be hard. But she saw one and she's like, the guys are like, no more Disney trips this year. And then it's just like us three in our ears, skipping away. Yes. No, there's a couple of ones I want to do. seen, I mean, Megan and I have a bunch shared, but. there's always like the ones like, do you want to go, do you want to go to the park? And they're like, sure, which park? everyone's like, like shrugging the whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. But I want to try and get everyone to do it. Like, you know, we could do it in. I think people can do it. Like whoever takes them to the airport can do like a quick shrugging video. And then I have ideas in my head that I don't want the masses to know. I don't want them to take my idea. Okay, so I mean to your point like it is it's a lot It's a lot different to say let's go as a family to Disney when let's just get a group of Individual people like from different households together for sure. Yeah. Yeah, so I don't know I honestly like Yeah, I mean It's a crazy time. I feel like I'm I'm just kind of trying to like ignore it but like I know it's happening and I'm like yeah we're like planning on a trip and we just bought a new car and it's a lot but like your life still has to move on yeah and I'm trying not to live in like a spirit of fear yeah because it's not good for anybody yeah yeah yeah us anxious souls mm-hmm okay animal kingdom is Officially, like we are getting like constructions happening and we're getting we're starting the Pueblo Esperanza Americas Dinosaurus officially is being closed and demolished like it's all it's all happening over there and We will see Bluey. Did I tell did I say that in the last episode we will see Bluey? May 26th in Animal Kingdom Well, we won't because we're going to say but We as a collective Disney group got it. Yep. Okay. and then that, ⁓ this is exciting. There's going to be an inside out NHL crossover. So you know how they've been doing like the Pixar and the football. They're to do inside out with an NHL game. Okay. It doesn't tell me which one though. So, that's going to be fun. D23 has a dates have officially been released to get prices. Tickets have not gone out to the normal folk yet, just the D23 gold members, which you have to pay $100 a year for that. then Ryan Seacrest is hosting the Disney Legends ceremony and honorees are. These to me, Hathaway, ⁓ Johnson, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. But those are maybe just the actors. 26 Disney Legends ceremony. Yeah, okay, there are more. yeah. Jerry Bruckheimer, who I know the name. Susan Egan? How is she not a Disney honorary Disney legend yet? don't know. Chris Berman. Eric Goldberg, he does animation. Bob Iger, interesting. Alan Tudyk, he does film and voice, the Jonas Brothers, and Kim Irvine, she's Imagineering. So those are the... ⁓ the honorees. Bokheimer is the director of the Pirates movies. ⁓ okay. Okay. And he, else did he do? I mean, he's directed more movies than that. He says Top Gun, Top Gun movies, National Treasure. Yeah. So he's done a lot of stuff. Okay. That's good. So that's all the news I have. And now it's time for ⁓ Through my valley, there's a lot. There's lots, a lot, lot. Let me see. So last week we talked about a little bit about the Whispers of the Wind update and this door that they're talking about or getting, but they have been releasing so much stuff every day since then, and they'll probably continue it until the release on the 8th. Yeah. It's going to be crazy. which I feel like a little bit of crazy because I'm kind of bored. Yes. Exactly. My characters aren't leveled up, but I kind of don't care. You know, no one from blossom ranch major burnout right now, Cinderella ⁓ lady and the tramp are not all yet. So, I think Yeah, I think it'll be good. a lot, ⁓ I think over the course of the next couple months, they're going to be doing these events too. So there's a lot to look forward to. Right now, ⁓ still is Eggstravaganza event through the 21st of April. you've got the green eggs that you fish out along Dazzle Beach. Okay. if you're doing any of that. Nope, I haven't been fishing. I've just been planting the little egg thingies and collecting them. ⁓ the yellow? Yeah. Yeah. I forgot about that. But Wally's been giving me some green eggs. I cannot f- I- there might be a glitch because every time I try to track down Wally, he's in his house and then I go in there and he's not in there. Like, I honestly just go to the Dream Snaps on my furniture thing and I just start putting stuff in there and just at some point, if it's one that I like, I'll do it. Like the Western one I kind of liked. Yeah. So I did more, but like. It's just a lot and I I Wish there was another way get dream like it dreams ⁓ moonstone. Yes. So it looks a lot like. I don't know, like a bunch of Alice in Wonderland stuff maybe. Or is that the portal we're getting? You think the portal's more Alice in Wonderland? it seem like to me? I think the star path still feels Pocahontas coated. Okay, well maybe... Just because like it is like ⁓ elements of nature is Pocahontas. know, colors of the wind, the willow tree, you know. So then that's what they're calling the star path. Yeah. Okay. Got it. then I'm trying to look at this video because the video and the items are those are from Alice. That is from Alice. Yeah. Oh, flower thing. That's because they're bringing stuff back from other star paths. I think you can do bonus stuff to get stuff that you didn't get from the other stuff. Interesting. Let's see like that's. I don't know, it looks like a maze. there's gonna be a treasure hunt event from May 27th to June 9th. See, so like, they're doing... they have us all the way till June. Right, because we also got the little post today. that said something about... Galaxy of fun is headed your way. Mm-hmm and people are assuming it's Star Wars on May 4th because the 4th, yes Be with you, right? And it would be perfect if May the 4th was on a Wednesday, which it's not on a Monday But we don't know like in what capacity that right maybe it's a floating festival. Maybe right? Okay. All right, so more to come on that for sure but then We got confirmation too about this new building that they teased that some people thought would be an April Fool's joke. But it's actually a thing. It's they're calling it Olaf's Grand Exhibition. even talk. ⁓ Exhibition. And get to my understanding is it's basically a better way to store your stuff. Is that what you got from it? Like you can store your stuff from each biome. I don't know. There are rooms in the exhibition that pertain to a specific see it as, okay, so you didn't play Animal Crossing and this is what... I saw that everyone was comparing it to Yeah, it's the museum in Animal Crossing and so it's not... It's not a biome, No, no. I mean, it's not a storage area. It's like a museum. It's like what you've collected is kind of already... Sorry, a piece of my hair is literally out. It's so weird. I've never had that happen. It's just like what you've already collected. So ⁓ in way Animal Crossing does it is you go and you donate these items to the owl and he puts them in the museum. So I wonder and so like it shows your collections. It's easier to keep track of what you have I guess. Okay. Okay. Yeah well To me it would be smart if they made it a storage right thing because then that solves the problem of having to track all your stuff in chests and whatnot right, but if they're doing it the way animal came to earth crossing does it then that doesn't sound Yeah. Bummer. Yeah. Okay. Well, hopefully it's useful and not like, what is the purpose of doing all of that? Other than I guess making it easier to see what you have? I don't know. I mean, I could be wrong if that's not what it is. I mean, there were, there were, saw gems being displayed and, then maybe it is, I don't know. like plants and stuff in the, from that biome, like flowers and foraging items. So I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. And everybody's saying, you know, we hope that we'll get one from the DLCs too, which I wouldn't think that. That would be nice. Quality of Life, they're talking about like doing, adding more filters to the crafting menu. Oh, yes. Which is going be really helpful. So, yes. Because half the time I can't find anything.
