- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and cam
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ridge Edge.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hi, Stacy, Hi, First of all, thank you so much
- 0:21Speaker 2: for joining me today.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I know Teddy would have loved to be here to
- 0:24Speaker 3: talk to.
- 0:24Speaker 4: You, and I'm thinking of her and praying for her.
- 0:28Speaker 5: Thank you, just really hoping for the best for her
- 0:32Speaker 5: and her family. I'm following along just like everyone, so
- 0:37Speaker 5: sending prayers to her as much as I can.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Thank you. All the prayers are needed, please everybody.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Amen?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Yes, So, how let's just before we get into the
- 0:48Speaker 2: TJ of it all, let's just talk about this season
- 0:51Speaker 2: a little bit. Sure, how are you feeling now that
- 0:55Speaker 2: the season is over?
- 0:57Speaker 5: You know, this has been a wild ride, Like think
- 1:00Speaker 5: about your first season as a housewife.
- 1:03Speaker 4: For sure, you know you're having a lot of fun.
- 1:06Speaker 5: You're learning a lot, not only about the dynamics within
- 1:10Speaker 5: the group of each individual woman, but you're also you know,
- 1:17Speaker 5: learning about yourself. I feel like I've grown up a
- 1:21Speaker 5: lot one season. I know that's like quite dramatic, but no.
- 1:26Speaker 4: That's that's all I feel.
- 1:27Speaker 2: But that's good because I always say there's two types
- 1:30Speaker 2: of housewives. There's housewives to watch themselves and go.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Ah, damn.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I don't really like that part of me, and I'm
- 1:35Speaker 2: going to change it. And there's other ones that just
- 1:37Speaker 2: don't even see it. So if you're growing from it,
- 1:40Speaker 2: that's a positive.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I'm I'm definitely growing from this experience.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Now you came from QVC prior, as I'm sure there's
- 1:49Speaker 2: a huge difference between QVC and Housewives.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, it's so different.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Like QVC is you know, the epitome of working at Disneyland,
- 2:00Speaker 5: you know, like we And when I say we, I'll
- 2:03Speaker 5: say that because I used to be a part of
- 2:05Speaker 5: the host team.
- 2:05Speaker 4: But it really is about like spreading love.
- 2:08Speaker 5: And joy and helping people with products that can improve
- 2:12Speaker 5: their lives. And there's preparation and you're studying, and you
- 2:16Speaker 5: want to make sure that you know, you're connecting to
- 2:19Speaker 5: the viewers. It's a it's emotional work and I feel
- 2:24Speaker 5: like with the Housewives it's also emotional work, but in
- 2:27Speaker 5: a completely different way.
- 2:29Speaker 4: And the perks way unprepared. You're totally unprepared.
- 2:33Speaker 5: There's nothing to study there. It's impossible. You just have
- 2:37Speaker 5: to be yourself and sort of ride the way.
- 2:39Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, did you leave QVC to do Housewives.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Or were you already done with QVC.
- 2:46Speaker 5: So when I decided to leave QVC, it was primarily
- 2:51Speaker 5: because I was going through a divorce.
- 2:54Speaker 4: No one knew. I'm a very private person, says the
- 2:57Speaker 4: person on reality TV. But I didn't tell anyone about
- 3:00Speaker 4: my divorce. And so.
- 3:04Speaker 5: At the time, I knew that I wanted to come
- 3:07Speaker 5: back to the DC area because my daughter needed that.
- 3:10Speaker 5: It was a really big transition for us to be
- 3:13Speaker 5: living in Philly because when I was working for QVC,
- 3:15Speaker 5: we had to live in Philadelphia. So I knew that
- 3:20Speaker 5: my daughter needed to be home. I knew that my
- 3:23Speaker 5: daughter needed to be.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Surrounded by friends and family.
- 3:26Speaker 5: So it was almost as if, you know, God made
- 3:30Speaker 5: it so that it was perfect timing and gave me
- 3:32Speaker 5: this opportunity to come home and start the show. So
- 3:35Speaker 5: my daughter got to come home, I could finish things
- 3:38Speaker 5: with my divorce and then start this incredible journey on
- 3:42Speaker 5: this crazy show.
- 3:43Speaker 3: How did you get cast for Housewives?
- 3:46Speaker 5: So I was cast by a wonderful man. But there
- 3:51Speaker 5: was a casting agent that I've known four years. I've
- 3:53Speaker 5: known him for about five or six years and we've
- 3:56Speaker 5: always kept in touch. And like I said, I don't know.
- 4:00Speaker 5: It was divine timing. He called me and said, hey,
- 4:04Speaker 5: you know, how are things going with you?
- 4:06Speaker 4: Like what are you doing?
- 4:07Speaker 5: And I was like, oh my gosh, this is happening.
- 4:09Speaker 5: This is happening. And he was like, stop, you got
- 4:12Speaker 5: to come on the show.
- 4:13Speaker 3: And how did you know? Did you know any of
- 4:16Speaker 3: the housewives?
- 4:17Speaker 4: Yes? Yes, you know.
- 4:19Speaker 5: You know, DC is really small, especially when you talk
- 4:23Speaker 5: about the social circle that I'm in, So I had
- 4:29Speaker 5: met a lot of the women.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Just socially at parties.
- 4:34Speaker 5: I had already met Ashley and Giselle and Wendy. Wendy
- 4:39Speaker 5: and I served together on a board for a charitable organization,
- 4:44Speaker 5: so I knew a lot of the ladies socially. I
- 4:47Speaker 5: knew a casting agent. It was just it was a
- 4:50Speaker 5: very easy transition for me. I think a lot of
- 4:52Speaker 5: people say that, a lot of people are like, wow,
- 4:55Speaker 5: it just seems like you're such a great fit.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I think because it was the perfect time, the combination of.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Knowing a little bit about the ladies, but not like
- 5:04Speaker 5: knowing everything you know, So it was just perfect.
- 5:08Speaker 2: So now, looking back, you had said that Karen reached
- 5:12Speaker 2: out to you to meet you before you started filming,
- 5:15Speaker 2: do you think she did that to steer you in
- 5:17Speaker 2: certain directions or what was your thought on that.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Well, I think it's apparent now having watched the finale episode,
- 5:26Speaker 5: that that's something that she does with a lot of newbies.
- 5:29Speaker 5: So I think she was just taking me out to
- 5:32Speaker 5: welcome me into the group and to talk about things.
- 5:35Speaker 5: As I've said, Karen and I have known each other
- 5:37Speaker 5: for years. I wouldn't say that we were best friends
- 5:40Speaker 5: and we were going out every Friday night for drinks,
- 5:43Speaker 5: but we've known each other for years.
- 5:44Speaker 4: So we decided to get together.
- 5:46Speaker 5: She invited me, and she told me what to expect
- 5:50Speaker 5: from the ladies in the group, or maybe those were
- 5:53Speaker 5: her expectations, but that's something that she does with all
- 5:56Speaker 5: the new girls, So I don't think that that was
- 5:59Speaker 5: Looking back, I think I was one of many newbies
- 6:03Speaker 5: to make it to the tally ho.
- 6:06Speaker 4: You know, having lunch.
- 6:10Speaker 3: That's funny. She takes them all there.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Now, I'm gonna tell you this, I see a spark
- 6:16Speaker 2: in your eye every once in a while. Usually you're
- 6:19Speaker 2: very sweet and very kind, but I'm like, oh, Stacy's
- 6:23Speaker 2: gonna snap. She has it in her. She has it
- 6:27Speaker 2: in her, and you did a few times. Now, are
- 6:30Speaker 2: do you think you are the same person on camera
- 6:34Speaker 2: as you are off camera? Did you try to play
- 6:36Speaker 2: it safe when you came in there was rumors that
- 6:39Speaker 2: you were boring and not tough enough to be a housewife.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And I'm like, uh ah, I see it in her.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I'm at heart.
- 6:48Speaker 5: I am a very kind and loving and compassionate person.
- 6:53Speaker 5: I've said this many times. My life speaks for itself.
- 6:56Speaker 5: I taught yoga for seven years. I've taught all over
- 6:59Speaker 5: the world.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I serve on.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Many organizations to help animals, dogs and people.
- 7:05Speaker 4: I am who I am, right, Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 5: However, I'm a human being. And you can only laugh
- 7:13Speaker 5: it off and take the jabs and die the jabs
- 7:17Speaker 5: so much, and you have to at some point speak
- 7:21Speaker 5: up for yourself. And so you know, people are like,
- 7:24Speaker 5: oh my goodness, I thought that you are so prim
- 7:27Speaker 5: and proper. I can't believe that you're raising your voice.
- 7:30Speaker 5: I can only take so much. I'm a human being.
- 7:33Speaker 5: And I also think this is my first season. You know, like,
- 7:37Speaker 5: people don't know me. In one season, You're getting to
- 7:40Speaker 5: know me, and you're gonna get to see different sides
- 7:43Speaker 5: of me. This is just the beginning. So when I
- 7:45Speaker 5: get upset, it's because you have pushed me there. I'm
- 7:49Speaker 5: always here.
- 7:50Speaker 2: But if you know, I will absolutely agree, You're not
- 7:53Speaker 2: the person that's going to laughter somebody for no no,
- 7:55Speaker 2: some reason.
- 7:56Speaker 3: If you get pushed, you're going to push right back.
- 8:01Speaker 4: At some point. I'm a human being. I have to
- 8:03Speaker 4: take up for myself. I do have self respect.
- 8:06Speaker 5: For God's sake, you can only take so much, even
- 8:09Speaker 5: as the nice girl.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, how did you reach out to Karen after she
- 8:15Speaker 2: went to court?
- 8:16Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys are not on good terms. I take it.
- 8:22Speaker 5: You know, honestly, when you think about the entire season
- 8:27Speaker 5: and all the things that happened with Karen, we did
- 8:32Speaker 5: not end in a good place. But I have a
- 8:37Speaker 5: tremendous amount of respect for Karen and who she is
- 8:41Speaker 5: and the legacy that she has begun to build in
- 8:44Speaker 5: our community beyond Housewives and our community, and with her family.
- 8:50Speaker 4: There's a lot of things that I know about.
- 8:52Speaker 5: So at this time, despite where we are, I just
- 8:56Speaker 5: want the best for her.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I sincerely want her to.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Heal and get well, and I want her to come
- 9:05Speaker 5: back stronger than ever, because that is what I would
- 9:09Speaker 5: expect from the Grandame. It doesn't matter where we ended
- 9:13Speaker 5: at the season. As of today, I'm standing behind her
- 9:18Speaker 5: to get back to the phenomenal woman I know her
- 9:21Speaker 5: to be.
- 9:22Speaker 2: So the Grandama has said that she wants to ditch
- 9:25Speaker 2: that title and just go by Karen and get wants
- 9:28Speaker 2: people to know who she is. Now, there's been talk
- 9:33Speaker 2: that you guys will start filming pretty soon, and of
- 9:37Speaker 2: course she will not be in this season. Do you
- 9:39Speaker 2: think that it's going to affect the season at all?
- 9:44Speaker 5: I think that Karen has been a part of the
- 9:50Speaker 5: Real Housewives of Potomac brand since it's beginning, and that
- 9:54Speaker 5: is commendable and we love her for that. But I
- 9:59Speaker 5: also feel like our brand is strong and it is,
- 10:02Speaker 5: as you know, an ensemble cast, and I think we
- 10:06Speaker 5: have some really wonderful stories that still need to be
- 10:10Speaker 5: told and shared. So I think that while she heals
- 10:15Speaker 5: and she gets back to herself Karen Huger, I think
- 10:20Speaker 5: that we can hold down the fort YEP.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I think you can.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I think.
- 10:24Speaker 2: So let's talk about the reunion. So this was your
- 10:28Speaker 2: first reunion. You guys all looked beautiful.
- 10:33Speaker 3: I do. I did like it was amazing.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Favorite of course, you of course, know, you guys all
- 10:40Speaker 2: look beautiful.
- 10:41Speaker 3: There was a lot of boobs. There was a lot
- 10:43Speaker 3: of boobs.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I'm not gonna a lot of Like I just felt
- 10:45Speaker 2: like I needed to push them down a little bit, Like.
- 10:47Speaker 4: It was like bring them out, bring them out.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah, some of y'all looked really uncomfortable, like sitting on
- 10:53Speaker 2: the beads and you know the type.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Something really funny.
- 10:57Speaker 1: M hm.
- 10:57Speaker 4: So do you remember when and Andy wanted to show
- 11:01Speaker 4: me the video? Oh, yes, I do, a tj y and.
- 11:05Speaker 5: We were all I was we were laughing a little
- 11:08Speaker 5: bit after. You know, you can always find laughter even
- 11:11Speaker 5: in the worst moments. But I was saying I couldn't
- 11:15Speaker 5: even get up to sit next to him to look
- 11:17Speaker 5: at the video because I was so snatched.
- 11:20Speaker 4: You know, with the corset and the dress.
- 11:22Speaker 5: So we were all laughing that we all like were
- 11:24Speaker 5: glued to our seats because we couldn't move.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Well, it looked like that, say, you guys are beautiful.
- 11:29Speaker 3: It looked really uncomfortable.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Even if I wanted to run off the stage, like
- 11:33Speaker 5: it was impossible.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Girl, I was like glued to that seat. So we
- 11:37Speaker 4: were just laughing about that.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Oh, bless your hearts because I could never do that.
- 11:41Speaker 4: I've done like on my.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Skin from the corset, I could show you that I
- 11:45Speaker 5: still have marks, and that was filmed months ago where
- 11:50Speaker 5: it was made of wire flowers.
- 11:52Speaker 4: So it cut into my skin. Oh my god, for
- 11:55Speaker 4: that reunion.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Oh yes you did, You're still bleeding, I think.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Oh yeah, let's talk about your best friend TJ.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Sure, Andy did play you the tape showing TJ accusing
- 12:15Speaker 2: you of paying him to be love interest on the show?
- 12:21Speaker 3: Is there any truth to this?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Like?
- 12:23Speaker 3: How where did he come up with us?
- 12:25Speaker 2: A lot of people are not believing you and thinking
- 12:29Speaker 2: that it's absolutely true that you paid him. He is
- 12:32Speaker 2: a working actor. Did he get confused somehow, thinking like
- 12:35Speaker 2: you're gonna bring me on and somehow you're gonna pay me?
- 12:39Speaker 4: You know, I'm I'm okay with not everyone believing me.
- 12:44Speaker 4: That's life.
- 12:45Speaker 5: I'm never I didn't come on this show to win
- 12:50Speaker 5: people over or to have people on my side, or
- 12:53Speaker 5: to be the most popular. I understand that life happens
- 12:57Speaker 5: and everyone's going to have an opinion, especially on a
- 13:00Speaker 5: platform like this, And I don't want to bash TJ
- 13:07Speaker 5: despite what he did and that he betrayed me in
- 13:10Speaker 5: a way that greatly affected me in a way that
- 13:15Speaker 5: I've never been affected in my life. I have not
- 13:21Speaker 5: paid TJ to be my boyfriend in any way. And
- 13:26Speaker 5: when I say boyfriend, I'll say love interest. I know
- 13:30Speaker 5: that on the show we called him my best friend,
- 13:33Speaker 5: and everyone laughed at that and made fun of it. Listen,
- 13:37Speaker 5: I've prayed with this man. He brought me closer to
- 13:41Speaker 5: God through his faith, and through his profound faith, I
- 13:46Speaker 5: guess I should say I've prayed with him. He's met
- 13:49Speaker 5: members of my family. We've spent quite a few intense
- 13:53Speaker 5: moments together. And this is someone who I had a
- 13:57Speaker 5: deep connection with. This is someone who I.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Never spoke ill of.
- 14:04Speaker 5: I've only said the positive things and the positive blessings
- 14:10Speaker 5: that he brought to my life. And I didn't do
- 14:13Speaker 5: that because I was following a script. I didn't do
- 14:16Speaker 5: that because I'm a liar or I'm a fraud. I
- 14:21Speaker 5: spoke highly of him because that is who I thought
- 14:25Speaker 5: he was.
- 14:26Speaker 4: So when it was brought to my.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Attention in front of the world that he said that
- 14:31Speaker 5: I paid him, knowing that he knew what that would
- 14:36Speaker 5: imply about me, right, knowing that he said that, knowing
- 14:40Speaker 5: that it would hurt me, knowing that I'm going to
- 14:42Speaker 5: have to, you know, defend this and come on and explain.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Why does he want to hurt you? That's what I understand.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Why would he want to hurt you if he's your
- 14:50Speaker 2: best friend.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I think that it was.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I think it was really difficult for him to see
- 14:57Speaker 5: his worst moments and the way that he treated me.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I think it was really hard. He was very upset
- 15:04Speaker 5: with production and the way that he was. He feels
- 15:07Speaker 5: he was portrayed. I think a lot of things that
- 15:12Speaker 5: were said about his behavior at Wendy's birthday party. There
- 15:18Speaker 5: were just a lot of things that he did that
- 15:21Speaker 5: were disrespectful, and I think a lot of people saw
- 15:27Speaker 5: that and they wanted to defend me, and he read
- 15:30Speaker 5: those comments. He saw it too, and quite frankly, I
- 15:33Speaker 5: think it was a lot for him, and I think
- 15:37Speaker 5: that the only way to make that go away after
- 15:41Speaker 5: we broke up was to say it wasn't real.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I also think, you know, I hate to.
- 15:48Speaker 5: I don't want to ever be the type of person
- 15:49Speaker 5: that says like, well you didn't see this moment or
- 15:52Speaker 5: production did this. Like I accept that my job is
- 15:55Speaker 5: to allow reality to play out and you know this right,
- 15:59Speaker 5: But what you didn't see. There was a moment when
- 16:02Speaker 5: I was with the girls on stage and I said,
- 16:04Speaker 5: you know, Andy said, TJ's not here.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Why is he not here?
- 16:08Speaker 5: I said, well, we broke up. He said, oh, so
- 16:11Speaker 5: you broke up with TJ. You're divorced.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I said, you know what. Yeah, And it feels good
- 16:16Speaker 4: to stand on my own. It feels good to be here,
- 16:20Speaker 4: Justice Dacy. I don't need anybody. I'm so confident.
- 16:23Speaker 5: I feel so good, and I just think it's so
- 16:25Speaker 5: ironic when I chose to stand on my own this happened.
- 16:31Speaker 4: I just think I'm not the first or the last
- 16:34Speaker 4: woman that this will happen to.
- 16:36Speaker 5: I think for me, it's quite obvious how this is
- 16:39Speaker 5: playing out.
- 16:40Speaker 3: How long did you know him?
- 16:43Speaker 4: I'm about two years, okay, two two years.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Do you think it's possible that he used you to
- 16:51Speaker 2: get on TV?
- 16:53Speaker 5: A lot of people say that, a lot of people
- 16:56Speaker 5: seem to think that I.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Was wanting more of a relationship.
- 17:04Speaker 5: And when I say wanting more of a relationship, I
- 17:07Speaker 5: want to say that our plan together was to try
- 17:12Speaker 5: to be in an intimate relationship after my divorce.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Was final finalized.
- 17:17Speaker 5: That was our plan, and I think I was so
- 17:19Speaker 5: excited about that, and I think he was so excited
- 17:23Speaker 5: to be a part of rhop and be on camera.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I think so too.
- 17:28Speaker 5: But you don't see things when you're in it. You know,
- 17:30Speaker 5: It's what can I do? No, I get to know
- 17:34Speaker 5: about you. But like for my first season watching the show,
- 17:39Speaker 5: after you filmed for months and they put it all together,
- 17:42Speaker 5: it was hard for me.
- 17:44Speaker 4: There were a lot of things that I forgot.
- 17:46Speaker 5: There were a lot of moments that I had to relive,
- 17:49Speaker 5: like you know, when I was at Wendy's birthday party
- 17:52Speaker 5: and to see him.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Act that way.
- 17:57Speaker 5: It you know, my mother called me and said, Hey,
- 18:01Speaker 5: is everything okay?
- 18:02Speaker 4: Is this man? What is going on? That was hard
- 18:06Speaker 4: for me?
- 18:16Speaker 3: Was your breakup bad?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Were you guys when you broke up? Were you still talking?
- 18:21Speaker 2: Was it did it get dirty?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Like?
- 18:24Speaker 3: Was there anything?
- 18:24Speaker 1: You know?
- 18:25Speaker 4: And that's what's so surprising for me. No, we ended with.
- 18:30Speaker 5: I thought that we ended things with a mutual respect
- 18:34Speaker 5: for each other. I said that I needed time. He
- 18:37Speaker 5: knew before a lot of other people knew when my
- 18:40Speaker 5: divorce would be final. And I said, you know, I
- 18:45Speaker 5: think you are fantastic, but I just need like a moment,
- 18:49Speaker 5: you know.
- 18:50Speaker 4: I was like, I got to catch my breath.
- 18:52Speaker 5: I moved from Philadelphia, quitting a job that I love
- 18:57Speaker 5: to take care of my daughter. I started the show.
- 19:00Speaker 5: I had to figure out how to find my feet
- 19:03Speaker 5: with these women, the filming schedule, our relationship, a divorce
- 19:09Speaker 5: from a man that I was married to for sixteen years.
- 19:11Speaker 5: I said to him, you know, I think you're fantastic
- 19:15Speaker 5: and I think there's a future, but I just need to.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Breathe can you give me a moment?
- 19:20Speaker 5: And then he said those things at the reunion.
- 19:25Speaker 4: I was totally caught off guard.
- 19:26Speaker 3: He gave you a moment, and I do think that
- 19:29Speaker 3: he gave me a moment. He gave you a moment.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And he also put suspicion out there that you were
- 19:33Speaker 2: paying him. Now, let me just tell you this. I
- 19:36Speaker 2: did see a lot of comments on Instagram saying that
- 19:39Speaker 2: prior to him saying that, do you think that he
- 19:42Speaker 2: read those and thought, ah, I'm going to bring this up.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Another thing is why did they call him? Do you
- 19:48Speaker 2: think this was planned?
- 19:52Speaker 5: We talked in depth about what people were saying about
- 19:56Speaker 5: the show.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I'm going to keep it completely real with you.
- 20:01Speaker 5: We as soon as the show aired and people started
- 20:05Speaker 5: making comments about him and their perception of the way
- 20:08Speaker 5: that he treated me. He and I looked at comments
- 20:11Speaker 5: and we were like, wow, oh my gosh, this is awful.
- 20:15Speaker 5: And he was furious about the way he thought production
- 20:20Speaker 5: portrayed him. And I said, you know, I don't know
- 20:26Speaker 5: what to say about this. I think that, like, these
- 20:30Speaker 5: are things that happened the camera and our MIC's caught them,
- 20:33Speaker 5: and I think we have to try to work through this.
- 20:36Speaker 5: I don't know that he could work through it. I
- 20:39Speaker 5: think it was that hard for him. I really, I'm
- 20:44Speaker 5: being honest. I think it was really difficult for him.
- 20:46Speaker 5: And I know people are probably like, why do you
- 20:48Speaker 5: care about him? Why don't you talk about yourself. I'm
- 20:51Speaker 5: just coming to you with truth and trying to give
- 20:55Speaker 5: you an idea of my perspective of the way things
- 20:58Speaker 5: played out. But we were very much aware of what
- 21:03Speaker 5: people were saying. There was a hashtag free Stacy on Twitter,
- 21:09Speaker 5: you know. So there were a lot of things that
- 21:12Speaker 5: happened behind closed doors, and there were a lot of
- 21:15Speaker 5: things that came to light on camera, and it was
- 21:21Speaker 5: hard for me to relive those moments.
- 21:23Speaker 4: It was really difficult.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I'm sure, especially your first year, you're like, whoa this is?
- 21:28Speaker 3: You know, total shock to the body.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Are you worried that TJ will fabricate or attempt to
- 21:33Speaker 2: show receipts? And if he does do something like that
- 21:36Speaker 2: and you are set in your truth, what will you do?
- 21:41Speaker 5: I can't worry about what he will do.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Do you think he will?
- 21:46Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't. I don't I honestly, I
- 21:50Speaker 4: don't know.
- 21:50Speaker 5: I haven't called him since the conversation that we had
- 21:54Speaker 5: after the reunion where he was very remorseful and he
- 21:57Speaker 5: wanted to publicly apologize, and there were a lot of
- 22:01Speaker 5: people that wanted him to do that, and there were
- 22:04Speaker 5: a lot of people who said I would be crazy
- 22:08Speaker 5: to allow him one more moment of camera time.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Quite frankly, would you want him to publicly apologize to you,
- 22:16Speaker 2: even if it's on his social media, to take some
- 22:18Speaker 2: account of ability?
- 22:18Speaker 5: You know what I want for TJ? I want TJ
- 22:21Speaker 5: to have the life that he deserves.
- 22:27Speaker 4: I am so.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Grateful to have had this experience. My daughter is healthy
- 22:34Speaker 5: and well. I am home in Virginia. My life is
- 22:39Speaker 5: so full right now. My best friends were with me
- 22:42Speaker 5: when I was filming watch What Happens Live. I don't
- 22:46Speaker 5: wish ill for TJ. I don't worry about what he's
- 22:50Speaker 5: going to do. It's not my lie to disprove. I
- 22:54Speaker 5: don't have to fix anything. I can stand in my
- 22:58Speaker 5: truth and who I am.
- 23:00Speaker 4: I am. My life speaks for itself, and my life
- 23:03Speaker 4: is blessed. God is good. I can't worry about other people.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I think I who live like that.
- 23:10Speaker 2: A lot of people do, a lot of people they
- 23:12Speaker 2: do yes, And I would have to say it takes
- 23:14Speaker 2: a really big, strong person to be like, say whatever
- 23:18Speaker 2: you want about me. I don't care because I know
- 23:21Speaker 2: my truth and I don't care what other people are
- 23:23Speaker 2: saying about me.
- 23:24Speaker 3: My husband is like that hundred percent. He's like, I
- 23:26Speaker 3: don't care. Is that their opinion can't matter to me nothing.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I'm getting that.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I'm getting to that point where I'm like, I, you
- 23:32Speaker 2: know what doesn't really bother me what other people think,
- 23:34Speaker 2: especially on this platform, because you could be given away
- 23:37Speaker 2: millions of dollars and doing charities and people will still
- 23:40Speaker 2: find something to pick on you.
- 23:43Speaker 5: I am okay with people believing TJ. I am okay
- 23:49Speaker 5: with people saying, oh, I'm not a fan of hers.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Do you know what I use to concentrate on.
- 23:55Speaker 5: I concentrate on, you know, Opening my phone this morning
- 23:59Speaker 5: and reading message is like, Stacy, You're a breath of
- 24:02Speaker 5: fresh air.
- 24:02Speaker 4: We stand by you.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Stacy. Don't let this stop you. Please come back next
- 24:07Speaker 5: next season.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I love so much fun.
- 24:10Speaker 5: I focus on good. I don't focus on negativity, and
- 24:14Speaker 5: how can I My life isn't like that, and I
- 24:17Speaker 5: have a pretty great life because I have not chosen
- 24:20Speaker 5: to focus on things like that. Well, when you're sometimes
- 24:22Speaker 5: worried about him, I'm not worried about people who don't
- 24:26Speaker 5: believe me, even people on the show.
- 24:28Speaker 2: You know, I I am the girls, And yeah, the
- 24:31Speaker 2: girls didn't seem to believe you, and I will agree
- 24:34Speaker 2: with that, because when you focus on negativity, negativity comes
- 24:37Speaker 2: into your.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Life and that isn't anything any of us want. But
- 24:40Speaker 3: the girls did not believe you. How did you leave?
- 24:43Speaker 1: Like?
- 24:43Speaker 4: Are you?
- 24:43Speaker 3: Who are you talking to? Who are you not talking to?
- 24:45Speaker 4: Right now?
- 24:46Speaker 3: On the show?
- 24:47Speaker 5: I've spoken to everyone on the show, and I have
- 24:55Speaker 5: had conversations about how to move forward. Some people have
- 25:00Speaker 5: voiced their opinion to say I don't believe you. Some
- 25:04Speaker 5: people have voiced their opinions and said, it doesn't matter.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Everyone feels differently, and I don't want to speak for them.
- 25:13Speaker 4: I think that I'll allow them to speak for themselves.
- 25:17Speaker 5: I won't do that, but I'll say this to you,
- 25:20Speaker 5: as I've said to my friends on the show. If
- 25:23Speaker 5: you choose not to believe me, that's okay. I'm okay
- 25:28Speaker 5: with that.
- 25:29Speaker 4: It's okay.
- 25:30Speaker 2: That's a good place to be, Stacy, it really is.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Let's switch from TJ because I've had enough of this guy,
- 25:34Speaker 2: and TJ. Do the right thing, buddy, do the right thing.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Let's talk about something that really really pissed me off,
- 25:44Speaker 2: and that was the Miami trip. You went to Miami
- 25:50Speaker 2: to MIA's birthday party, You paid for a hotel, a babysitter,
- 25:55Speaker 2: you paid for a flight, and Mia ghosted you.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Guys crazy, Who does that? I know?
- 26:04Speaker 5: And this is the thing, you know, I am so forgiving,
- 26:10Speaker 5: I am always nice, right mm hmm. For me to
- 26:15Speaker 5: say to me at the reunion, I can't receive this
- 26:18Speaker 5: right now shows.
- 26:19Speaker 4: You how strongly I felt in that moment.
- 26:21Speaker 5: I couldn't even receive what she was saying to me
- 26:25Speaker 5: because it was so obvious that she blatantly ghosted me
- 26:30Speaker 5: and didn't care about me.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I love seeing I love seeing you all redd up.
- 26:37Speaker 3: When you're talking to her about that, I'm.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Like you, I believe I was like hot, you are hot.
- 26:42Speaker 2: That's why I'm like, she's got it in her. Stop
- 26:44Speaker 2: saying she's got it in her.
- 26:47Speaker 5: But only when you do something that I'm a human being.
- 26:51Speaker 5: You can't tread me this way. The nicest like Gandhi
- 26:55Speaker 5: wouldn't be treated this way.
- 26:56Speaker 4: For God's sake.
- 26:57Speaker 2: No, And I'm like, oh my god, if somebody did
- 26:59Speaker 2: that to me, I would be like, you're done.
- 27:02Speaker 3: I'm done with you.
- 27:05Speaker 1: What.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I don't know if they you know that I've spoken.
- 27:07Speaker 2: To her, Mia, Yes, what were your thoughts on me
- 27:11Speaker 2: and leaving the reunion? I know this was your first one,
- 27:14Speaker 2: but what were the girls saying about it? You know
- 27:18Speaker 2: you're trying to be nice. You're trying to be nice.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I know you have some words in there that you
- 27:22Speaker 2: want to get out.
- 27:24Speaker 4: I feel like you're hip to my game. Girl. You know,
- 27:26Speaker 4: I'm going to take a breath and.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Think I have I can. I can read people very easy,
- 27:31Speaker 3: very easy.
- 27:32Speaker 4: You can. I have to be careful with you.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I'm like she wants to say it, and she's trying
- 27:38Speaker 2: to be nice about it.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Okay, I'm just gonna tell Okay, let me just say this.
- 27:43Speaker 5: After being on the receiving end of a beatdown from
- 27:47Speaker 5: the ladies, I can understand why it was too much
- 27:51Speaker 5: for her and she walked away.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Honestly, I don't think it was right.
- 27:56Speaker 5: I think that, you know, she should have stood there
- 27:59Speaker 5: and defended herself like she did all season when we
- 28:02Speaker 5: would bring things up to her about you know, things
- 28:05Speaker 5: she said, sorry about her children, horrible things that she
- 28:10Speaker 5: said about Giselle's children. In those moments, Mia was like big,
- 28:15Speaker 5: bad gl Amazon.
- 28:16Speaker 4: She stood up, she said how she felt.
- 28:19Speaker 5: But when we all sort of questioned her and her
- 28:22Speaker 5: motives and her behavior, she ran away. Not right, but
- 28:27Speaker 5: I understand, That's all I'm saying. It's tough in this group.
- 28:32Speaker 5: It is really tough when you feel like everyone is
- 28:35Speaker 5: coming down on you.
- 28:37Speaker 4: So I get it.
- 28:37Speaker 5: I called her after the reunion to make sure she
- 28:40Speaker 5: was all right, and she was.
- 28:41Speaker 4: You know how Mia is, She's already moved on to
- 28:43Speaker 4: the next thing.
- 28:44Speaker 3: So Mia running out.
- 28:47Speaker 2: She lied a lot, and I she got caught in
- 28:49Speaker 2: a lot of lies. However, The reason why she ran
- 28:51Speaker 2: out was not because she was lying. It was because
- 28:54Speaker 2: I think it was just Giselle said called.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Her a bad mom or something like that. Mom. I
- 28:58Speaker 3: didn't like that at all. I would have probably got
- 29:00Speaker 3: up and left too. I don't know if I would
- 29:02Speaker 3: have went.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Home but the lot, but it was a lot, so
- 29:05Speaker 2: you know, I would have been pissed off too.
- 29:07Speaker 5: But that's my point. I understand it. I get it
- 29:10Speaker 5: because I you know, when they gang up on you.
- 29:13Speaker 5: I said this at their reunion. I really, I've never
- 29:16Speaker 5: been in a sorority. Have you been in a sorority?
- 29:19Speaker 1: No?
- 29:19Speaker 2: God, no, I was had a baby at eighteen. I
- 29:23Speaker 2: want a school of hard knocks.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Well, I've never been in a sorority.
- 29:27Speaker 5: But or this is Hey, the way that I have
- 29:30Speaker 5: been treated on this show is what I would imagine.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Hazing to be.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Well, just you know, it's like we're going to make
- 29:38Speaker 5: sure we like beat you down before we accept you.
- 29:41Speaker 4: I'll never understand, well because looking for friendships.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 2: The good thing is is next season we get to
- 29:47Speaker 2: see a different side of you.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I'm sure because you get to know the girls better.
- 29:50Speaker 2: And you know how next season, yeah, I do, and
- 29:53Speaker 2: I just wanted I have fun with it, be yourself
- 29:57Speaker 2: and keep a TJ away. And I just want to
- 30:01Speaker 2: say thank you so much for taking the time to
- 30:03Speaker 2: come on the podcast. You are beautiful, you are lovely,
- 30:06Speaker 2: and like I said, I can't wait to see you
- 30:09Speaker 2: next season.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Okay, thanks honey, thank you for inviting me, and your
- 30:13Speaker 5: beautiful face.
- 30:15Speaker 3: You as well, you as well. Thank you Stacy, thank you.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Bye.
