- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to the NFL fans.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_02]: He did a show on your host, John Moosales.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's a sport to eat those presentation today.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a banger.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's Monday.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's hot.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_02]: Brian, what's going on?
- 0:09[SPEAKER_02]: He said the power was out.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_02]: There's a storm.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we just, I'm in the middle of a storm.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_01]: So if you hear thunder, don't be scared.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: But if my power goes out, and hopefully, I computer is charging us.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's the servers from your projection model or just overloading the grid.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can't open too much Excel at the moment, but other than that, we're good.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, great.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I made it responsible for classes of websites.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: I was keep all my articles still up.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: Just keep looking at them and everyone else is.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: So I'd like, you know, probably thirty different browsers open, but anyway, so if you're watching on the Twitter, jump over to YouTube, right?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like subscribe because not all the episodes are going to be available.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: We got our draft guides out.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: We're dropping articles pretty much every day.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: And this week's Super Special, I'm dropping my most sales to a hundred, part two.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be two hundred times better than last season because now I've got a little bit better feel a little more cockier, you know, if somebody's projected like fancy pros or ADPs, AD and I like him at sixty, I'm just going to give that twenty-twenty jump gap and don't worry about it.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_02]: Brian, you're dropping your protection model this week at a Thursday.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully, it's due to fruit.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: You want to talk to me just through some steps, anything you've changed any of the year learned.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think I've asked these a couple of times that you've never had to answer for me, but hopefully you got one now.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I take big things I learned is like, it's a season long.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: So this isn't your best ball.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like the projections are kind of season long.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: They're based on volume.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: So this isn't going to be your best ball.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, super like we're not digging into potential and all that stuff.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're, I think the best way to look at projections is probably look at both of our stuff together.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: Look at rankings and then look at the projections.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: If you see someone's high in rankings and they're lower it in projection, it probably means that there's opportunity for them to gain, whether it's rushing to your receiving chair, depending on kind of what they're in or just kind of touchdown share.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's probably the best way to look at it.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: It is very helpful to kind of look at and see like what teams do I want to target in and big U.S.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: whether it's a back theater and big U.S.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: receivers like who's going to take the lead role on certain teams from a receiving standpoint.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably the biggest places that I like to use to projections to look.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: And it helps me tear out certain players like.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: Titans, I have a massive gap between my top two Titans and the rest.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: Two, not three.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: Two.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: So a kiddo doesn't make the cut?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: He does not.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's been like top four like five years in a row.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: Top four is top four, but my top two is like my top two fit under a wide receiver one if I were to combine them.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: The next two fit under like a wide receiver four.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, you know, they're talking behind it.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, kiddo.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that's, this is huge.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: This is breaking news because he, he's a wide receiver one on an, I think Nancy points for game, but power scored more or is it powers?
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: One of them.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I was it.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: There's like their team point two at twelve point two or something like that.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: Um, okay.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just talk kiddo quickly.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: So we got Sam for him.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: We got the bounce back.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: We got that last base schedule, which has been stuck in my hands since Jason mentioned it and like,
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: February.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Um, we got a euk baby on the pop list, right?
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Jennings Piercell working their way in, like, what's, what's, what can we talk?
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Is there anything to account for kiddo?
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it is the age?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: There's no other kidan.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: What do we do?
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's, it's like, I don't,
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: Part of that is another ambiguous swide receiver room that I was looking at because Jennings now potentially wants a new deal or wants to get traded.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: So that is the room.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's room for potential there just from like a volume standpoint though.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he measures up to what you're going to get from McBride and Bowers.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the big reason.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: There is a lot of potential there.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I kind of noted that as one of my wide receiver rooms to check out is who's going to step up?
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: Are you like you said probably on the pub?
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: CMC's back and a lot of the times running backs and tight ends tend to kind of be in the same area of the field, whether they're the kind of the dump off the last resort place, just get five yards and move forward with your down.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's what it is, right?
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: CMC's occupying like, eight, hundred all purpose yards in the offense, and probably, twelve to fifteen touchdowns, which really shrinks some urgent for what, uh, what Kettle has available.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like, last season, obviously he wasn't there much, so Kettle could kind of do whatever he wanted there.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: You, is not like you saw Garendo or Mason taking, I mean, they were solid, but they weren't taking the passing work that McAfrey had previously.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Grendo came, but Mason didn't do anything like that.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: Grendo was only like two gates.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: So, okay, what about what about Vegas, right?
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: How do you you ever look like the Vegas projections, right?
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's like, you know, let's say, kiddo, right?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: His yards are fondly what many nine, fifteen Vegas and then your projection probably has them like, maybe higher or lower.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I mean, yeah, Vegas.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, for the axe.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, I thought you're talking Vegas Raiders.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: I have not.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: I have not looked at Vegas yet.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: This is like I haven't even looked at your rankings.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: I tend to my processes like go through it on my own.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Look at all the news.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: Look at some websites.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: I trust for deaf charts and then do it on my own later on.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'll start to kind of
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: What would you say?
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: What does fantasy prose like what does consensus say?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'll start to look at that later on to see.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Am I confident in things that are way off in my projections?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Not way off.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just different.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: And or am I not confident?
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: And if I'm confident, I'm going to stick with it.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm not, I'll kind of adjust whether it's volume based or other kind of efficiency metrics.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: I can adjust later on, but this is the first version.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll kind of keep updating as we get more info on depth charts, et cetera.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so remember, I always, my big thing is I love to look at the past future, you know, your history buff.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, that's the big way to, you should approach, you know, the future and fast, whatever.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: What did we learn?
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what were some of your big hits, misses last year or any adjustment you wish you had known ahead of time to do?
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe like the way he waited this season.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'd say one of the things I needed to learn was winning teams run the ball way more.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if you're the chiefs, they haven't looked that great offensively for fantasy-wise in a while.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think anyone there cares?
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: They've been to four Super Bowls in a row?
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the case.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Does anyone really care?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: They've been to enough Super Bowls in a row.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so like do people really care that much on like from the Kansas City area like probably not they care about winning.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think eagles that will be an example probably a bit lower on some of the passing and just offense in general from kind of like an upside standpoint.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think they'll serve weekly upside, but season long not as much just because I think they're going to be super run heavy and their defense really came on at the end of this season.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Well, so let's stick on Casey though, right?
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: So you said when he came to run the ball, and but they still, they threw thirty seven passes a game, which was seventh, right?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: They had a forty one, fifty nine run past lit, which is, you know, can't tie his past team.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: So it wasn't really that they run the ball, it's just that they don't care about scoring, right?
- 7:44[SPEAKER_02]: Because they kind of would pass as a run.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they would do your like
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: I guess the big play scoring is more the thing.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you think of bangles are kind of the exact opposite where they needed to go deep, they needed to catch up Kansas City was more like game management where we're just going to run the clock and we're going to have long possessions.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: And we know we have a good defense and we'll win this game as a result.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a copycat league, right?
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: We saw KC's done that.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: They've almost won every game.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: The bills clearly pivoted to that.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: Eagles pivoted to that.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: So like, is this going to be a trend now with these teams?
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like Baltimore's kind of the exception, right?
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: Because they've got all the tools and a good defense, but they were still very explosive.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but they were more explosive in the running than they were in the passing.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think Lamar had like, forty-one passing touchdowns, but it's true.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think it's, yeah, it's just something to keep in mind.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, I might not go as heavy on a bills or eagles or Kansas City passing stack as I might have done in the past, just because in the past, I was, oh, this is a good offense.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is a good team.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: I want to get in on it.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that makes me go out and eat in a running back style.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no for sure.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: Or especially even the backup running backs because if you don't good team value, we'll talk about some of them later, too.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's gonna stand this because this has been a really big team.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: I've just been following, like Buffalo.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like Josh Allen was the QBQ last year.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: He was about, I think he was like, forty eight points behind the bar Jackson.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_02]: But if you look at his passing stats, they're dramatically down from the last couple of years, right?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's clearly been this shift from going for these explosive plays for these really good teams.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: are there any other teams you see that maybe becoming a theme for like we'll Detroit do that Denver the Chargers I mean I think the Chargers already somewhat do it like Herbert's not been crazy but they're kind of ball management Denver I could
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's not like Nick's was like one of the top three.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: He was a good quarterback and I think he could probably stay pretty similar just because that offensive line is so good.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think, I mean, most Sean Peyton offences, they really do use the run.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're kind of get play action pass and they'll use their running backs and dump offs.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: It is more the game management offense.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: I was kind of looking at the opposite way of
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: like what teams do I think are going to be down a lot what teams do I think might be the bangles of this year maybe not as explosive like where are opportunities where this team's going to have to score points to stay in it and I think I mean it's crazy to think about like two teams that stuck out to me that I'm really intrigued with are Carolina and New England.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I've definitely, you know, New England, but yeah, Carolina seems to be popping up everywhere, right?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: I was just looking at Bryce.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know what he finished?
- 10:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was a QB-II and QB-I, and two last three weeks of season.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he came on at the end.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: He was running a lot more at the end.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like he had a ten to fifteen percent rush here, which is like very above average or quarterback.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: I just think he like those receivers.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to be forced to pass.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: It really look like he flipped the switch.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: So like those are, I mean, best ball.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: I hear a bunch of like best ball late round stacks with them, but even kind of season long.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really curious about their wide receivers.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like technique mail in, I didn't like them coming out, but like he really has a chance to kind of take over that receiving core unless you think it's going to be Adam Thielin or one of those guys like like it was I mean, if he didn't drop that pass, they beat the Eagles.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: I still got my
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: Super Bowl champion, but yeah, I mean, I'm very like him.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, even Caleb Williams.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that Chicago team.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: They're pretty trendy, but yeah.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the trendy pictures to the offense.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: But let's say I'm Carolina, right?
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: You got a pretty good ol' line, right?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_02]: You've a hopper to probably the most underrated running back.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: You got a pretty terrible defense.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: So that's hitting a lot of those since you had a Cincinnati markers where if they're down twenty eight ten in, you know, on halftime in a bunch of games, right?
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: Bryce is going to have probably two hundred fifty yards in all these second ass.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, as long as we eliminate the turnovers, which is not a given whatsoever, I think he could put up some of that, like,
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: I, I don't know if I won him as my single QB, but if I'm doing a shark gun approach at QB in season long, I think he's a great lay-round option to kind of go for and see what happens.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think you didn't think of it in one QB league anymore.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: You have to think of it in two QB.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: This one QB, it's just like, you know, just give me a goff in your end JV McCarthy, right?
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: There's just so many combinations you can make.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, the superflex.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: It is Bryce's your second QB.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: How are you feeling?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: You're feeling okay, right?
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: So let's talk a couple other teams.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: He like, like, let's talk Minnesota.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: JJ McCarthy.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: I think your projections really like him, right?
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a lot of my projections are also like the base of my projections.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: I pick an offense.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: From even from the past two years.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: I've data on the past two years.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: I pick an offense.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't matter which year I picked from Minnesota.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: Their offense was good.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't matter the quarterback, really.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: Their offense was good.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're plugging in playing him with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Madison.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: TJ Hawkins seems a good tight-end.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron Jones, right-to-all in the rush game, a run game, and past catchings.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: So there's so many weapons there.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: He was kind of plugging play in Michigan.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: He did what he was supposed to, and they won.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's opportunity for him to do what he's supposed to and win here.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: They let Donald go, so they know more than we now.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone was so high on Donald last year.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like, even if he's, I don't know, ninety percent of Donald, that's still a pretty good value from where what Donald did last season for fantasy.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the ninety cent of Donald is, fuck, is going to be ecstatic, right?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think he had, well, I don't need the touchdowns as Donald have like, thirty, thirty, five, thirty, eight.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was used very good and it's maybe the touchdowns aren't there, but I do think.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: JJ, I think we'll run it more.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: He tested really well in the combine from athleticism.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: So if you can let him get out running or worst cases, it's just I know that my Minnesota past catching options have a legitimate option to get them to ball.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, it's also Addison's like twenty three thirty year.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's still proving day days in his prime.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then we're getting hawks in the year after his ACL surgery, right?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: Is that the best three men receiving unit in the NFL?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's up there.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, would you take that over?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, our day will kind of stick out.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think Hawk over his techies and stuff where he can just probably a lot better than that.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's, I mean, it's definitely close.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so Minnesota.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you do with like Aaron Jones, right?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think he played all some of the games last year, but he's what, twenty nine thirty.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's injury prone.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's that's pretty much the running back to age cliff.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: And when they go though, they go fast.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: How do we have because Jordan Mason is one of my favorite favorite targets this season because I found famed Jones.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: I love Mason.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: I love that old line.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to be up.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they'll make so much of a dual threat.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, it's just that that team is a full target, right?
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, I think the way I'm looking at Jones this year is almost more of a like
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think I could see him in Mason or what I'm projecting is him in Mason that pretty similar rushing shares and then Aaron Jones, it kind of be that pass sketching back.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's already proven in the past that he can kind of perform and is efficient through the air.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: So I think
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: What makes bringing Mason in almost takes him wearing tear off Aaron Jones, so he can be fresh and still kind of back to his previously explosive self when he's not a bell guy with twenty plus touches a game.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I think Mason almost protects Jones more for me.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: That makes sense.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: But it's, I mean, his ADP is well outside the hundred and mostly.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just like, we saw what he's done to if he's getting the number one job.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, you know, I was right about it.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody loves the sequel.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: So who I can't we had in fantasy, right?
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Jones is just, he's just right there.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's all about making bets, right?
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's like kind of playing crap.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: See, I don't know how to play crap.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, it's the potato.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Jones is a state guy season is high enough for me, where it's like, I've just, I gotta take you to turn some of these.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't hate it.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think like Mason is a type of person who might not project out as well, but he has that upside.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: Jones projects out a bit better just because it's hard to project injury in projections.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I try not to it.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: And if I assume health and kind of split things, it's some of the more injury prone people do end up a little higher in projections.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: And also Jones is really good receiving back, right?
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: Where may seem to have just only have that exact.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: So we said doing the two is high in the production, right?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: So we got a new coach that went from incompetent to variable, who's flattened the top seven coach.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: At worst.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I wouldn't say they're high in our projections.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: They have me looking at them.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's a pump.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: They were probably twenty nine thirty last year.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: But then they got they got what Morgan Moses or something from the jet Senate Ravens or jet center.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: They drafted their first pick.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: Got another old lineman.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: Drake may second year he'll be starting.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_02]: They go a Kyle Williams.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: They drafted.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just like that's and direct training on Anderson, right?
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like it's a full new infrastructure.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and, you know, they were what, maybe the worst offensive lead last year, right?
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: They were a joke.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: Who do we like there and what kind of direction needed they're going to try and go?
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, at this moment, it's very hard to kind of project how that receiver room's going to come out.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they have what Kishan booty, Kendrick Bourne, Kyle Williams, they picked up Mac Collins, they still a pop Douglas, they had eight of on digs.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they have a bunch of
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, digs isn't a wide receiver one anymore, but he has a talent.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's still solid.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: And then they have a bunch of like wide receiver force.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: So like who's gonna pop there?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: As a result, I don't know who's gonna pop.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: And the person who's been very consistent there recently has been Hunter Henry.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I, as a result, I, in the projections, he's way higher than consensus.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like, ten to fifteen spots higher than consensus in my rankings just because who else is going to catch the ball?
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's trade beyond Henderson, maybe not.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: maybe Kyle Williams breaks out, maybe not.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, Drake May has kind of shown he likes to safety blanket, so Henry's there.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: If you're, I think he's a good kind of you skipped out on the top two or three tight ends, whatever you feel, I think he's a good late round option if you can get him or he falls, just to say, okay, I know I can start this guy week one.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: He has the upside if he scores touchdowns just like every other title.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I think he's a pretty good value pick at the moment with this and then I'm keeping an eye on how everything progresses throughout the season.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how many of these guys I'll take a shot on in the draft, but there's people to look out for.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I remember.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, these are these your messages.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: Did you say about during messaging me?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't get rid of them now.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, okay.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: So this is something I want to talk to you about.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: So your projections, right?
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: You weighed it mostly last season for week one, but then as the season goes on, you give more weight to the current season, right?
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: So like in season long projections, it's very, you don't see many running backs go over a fifty percent rush here.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: Just kind of as an example.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: In game to game, you see a lot of runningbacks go over a fifty percent rush share.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it's stuff like that where it's who's healthy to start off and then the data I use, I mean, I use Vegas over under projections.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still going to use that for weekly projections.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll get that obviously as the season comes.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then I use the data I use from previous season is like efficiency metrics.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like how many for receivers, what's the reception percentage on targeted balls to them?
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to go in there and I'm going to think, okay, I mean, I don't know, digs will be healthy weekland, but like digs might have a higher than a higher target share than maybe the whole season projection at like twenty five percent.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: But then, like, what did he catch?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of it is inputted kind of how I feel they'll do, just kind of keeping tabs on the market and whatever one else kind of thinks around the league on what we think target shares and all that'll be.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: Previous season stats are more like yards per reception, perception per cent, rushing or like percentage of touchdowns.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: So like Jalen Hertz scores more touchdowns on his rushes than majority of other QBs, stuff like that.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: So that's time for a talk.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm like parts of the season, right?
- 21:30[SPEAKER_02]: Because week one isn't as important as week, seventeen.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: We're like projecting a player, right?
- 21:35[SPEAKER_02]: Because you guys get better.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: So that happens.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: So like, and the season, we always see these guys pop.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: So we're on the path's case on Boote.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think you had like eighty yards into the last three games, even though he probably might not even had eighty yards total.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: The first five games combined, right?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: but season long, he probably average like, thirty two yards, but over the middle of the back quarter, he was average at just sixty five yards per game.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: So, how do we wait that going in?
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like, is there a way where you're waiting that back half of the last season more than the first half in doing this season projections?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'd say majority of that kind of goes into depth chart, keeping eyes on depth chart.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, short, if he,
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I think of it in like NBA, almost where it's like silly season heroes.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, it was, was Kishan booty a silly season hero where he was just a body that had a ball thrown to him because no one else was on the field or healthy enough to be on the field.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: Or did he earn that?
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: And the way you'll kind of see that with earning it is, is he higher in the depth chart and just keeping it on that.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: So those are kind of people to keep that I would look out for mostly is like who?
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: who's kind of increasingly going up the deaf chart or who maybe broke out at the end of last season and then it's still like fifth or six on the deaf chart.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, but it's that with the end.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sorry, we know.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: But now I just can say that to me tells me what I think their volume will be moving forward.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, but still, we're sticking with your MBA analogy.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: We're rookies to pop in Philly season.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: Our usually are is a good metric to gauge for the next season, right?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like Quinn Grimes on Philly was dropping like thirty points the game.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: Now with this next season, maybe not on Philly because they got a, you know, in the depth chart, he's not going to get many shots, but that is, I find a good metric to try and gauge, you know, because rookies they get better, or that, you know, if they finish strong, I like that as an indicator for next season.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so we got Boote, Marvin Nibs, had a really strong finish this season.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_02]: Jail and Mick, Jail and Mick Millen on Tampa, but then they drafted a boot cup.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: Mick Millen was going to be my oldest one, a number one target this season, but now you can't make, you know, he's the widest ever forward week one.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, it's just what we're trying to, it's a science, right?
- 23:54[SPEAKER_02]: You just trying to get little edges as you can, but obviously, if you use week eighteen as a weighted metric, your projection model is going to be screwed, because week eighteen doesn't even really matter.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think, I mean, I'm an eagle swim, but like one thing that sticks out to me is Eagles Rockback Road.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: So they used to have Kenneth Gainwell.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: They let him walk and then they picked up AJ Dylan and they have will shit.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: AJ Dylan's not a pass catching back.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Kenneth Gainwell, I had a line of that.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's a body at this point.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: But they, their moves in the offseason seem to state, hey, I'm pretty comfortable with Will Shipley as that backup role.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying he's going to be great in fantasy, but he's a guy I'm keeping my eye out because Kenneth Gainwell got some pass catching work and was kind of a third down role to spell Barclay and.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: And in the blowouts.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and blowouts.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: And, I mean, I don't want to knock on wood, but like, Barclay had so many touches last season.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: So there is an injury risk just historically for running Mexican had that many touches.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: So who's the next guy up?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: Seems to be ship-ly.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_02]: And just as to Severeco and Adam of the Pot, you know what percentage of all his touches of Barclay's career were just last season?
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: I do not, but it's got to be a lot.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's got to be a, like, twenty percent maybe?
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, twenty four.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: Scary.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and he's the weird thing is you're so close up in the playoffs.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, maybe he's built for it.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's, do I want to bet against it?
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's like trying to bet against Derek Henry.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I thought he was going to be done two years ago.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know how the team proved his yards for us from Tennessee to Baltimore, but I said we're probably a lot just because you got to give me, you got to play the game, Brian.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go one point two.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, one point seven.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it makes like you actually have a threat other than him on the office.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but post thirty.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's like that's I'm Christ for dinner, right?
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: I want to get back to New England because Drake May is this guy I've been digging into a lot of written about him a lot.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I just think he might be the most valuable player in fantasy based on his ADP and his potential, right?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think he has top five upside with the dual threat if he can score some rushing test chance.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: And the offense makes the leap and everything he hits, right?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't, I don't see top five.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: I do see an improvement.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I see maybe they get to middle of the pack.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be happy if they get to middle of the pack of an offense.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I just need Drake May and top five QB.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_02]: Not on top by offense.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, in general, like if he can get to, okay, I feel get to like a streamable quarterback in twelve team, I'd be happy.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: And like one quarterback to all team, just because to get to top five, you have to do a lot.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know, they seem to be pretty careful with them.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: And Mike Rable Offences in general, like they haven't been great.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: They've been very run focused, very play action, like Ryan Tanny Hill.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that was probably the prime Tennessee quarterback and with Rable.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he he was he had solid games and he but he had to he was airing it out though.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: They would run run and sing it right.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: He knew how to keep it like so and they had their Henry so maybe you'll pivot a bit but he had the explosion games so like you're right there.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's it does the play action work this time.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and then you have the big plays and I think that's
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: projection wise, I wouldn't project him to be much higher than like, ten to fifteen, but I do think he could be a great baseball quarterback.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: He goes off for twenty five and then he has ten.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_02]: But right the path C offense too, right?
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of the kicker, right?
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty terrible, right?
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: But so if that defense is bad, if they're behind, he's going to get all these cheap running yards.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: If some of the wider savers pop, I just think Basin is ADP, which is like QB- seventeen.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: I just think he's almost must draft because I think he could easily get it in the top ten.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: Top five is like the penthouse ceiling.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, five is a set of stance.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: You're saying like like, so a lot of these guys in that range don't even have that that ceiling, right?
- 28:16[SPEAKER_02]: Because he's the only one who's not that rushing outside and he's his throwing ability is great.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: I think yet I get an all the small total touchdowns and like every game he started.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_02]: They did a lot of turnovers, but I just I could see it if some stuff everything works in this favor, which it could.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: Any for you, any offences that you're like.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to say low key down on, but like any offenses that consensus have pretty high on that you're not feeling.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: Probably, I guess Tampa, I think the Liam Cohen thing is going to hurt.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: Tristan works is just out.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm fading.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm fading.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans and Doddwin.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: I still like Bucky, but I think they've just been like just hit lightning two years in a row.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I guess I'm fading them a little bit.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I'm pretty summer, so I'm probably higher on like, you know, it's very an optimistic time, right?
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: So, uh, the bills of fading buffalo, I mean, like, you know, James Cook who knows Ray Davis, if I'd had a draft today, Ray Davis would be like top Green most drafted player, just because if James Cook leaves, Ray Davis is probably top fistied running back.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, that's true.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I'm pretty similar with Buffalo.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's hard to project them poorly because they've just been in a lead offense, but like, they know, but there, but I don't mind anyone other key.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like I take Josh out and again, show her, but that's mostly because of he kind of does Superman on his rushing.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's not really his passing anymore.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but also I like I think two of his games.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: It was like I forgot it in the number four, but it was like thirty percent of his production.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: That Rams game with that Lions game.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's they've started to chase well.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: The defense is really good.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: The team's really good.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's getting like two hundred twenty yards and a touchdown past the game, but you know, sixty five.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's like two touchdowns in the runny game, but I just
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: with a switch-to-sees from Ken Dorsey to the guy now, and they made this clear pivot, right?
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: He let the league in the interceptions really go.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: He let the interceptions this league, but this past year, but in the good way, the least, right?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, they're not going to repivate.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: So, it's just, I'm not, I'm just, I'm out.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why he's be drafted on Howard Lamar Jackson in any league.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, Buffalo, let's see.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: Are people hiding by me?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, for me, it's like my projections are better than last season, but that's also because last season was too low was out.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: So like, yeah, I'm higher on Tyreken, Jalen than they were previous seasons, but part of that's just health of the quarterback and I don't
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they're going to be what white I don't know exactly but like they were wide receiver thirties or some I don't know exact so don't quote me on that but like they were not startable receivers for a lot of the season I think they will kind of get back to these startable receivers but I'm scared and like I don't know
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'd say that Johnny Smith, the departure, made me like, water and hill a bit more, because I don't know how much I trust Aaron Waller to actually take that over.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Now, zero.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they made it considered effort to get the ball out quicker.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: So like, a lot of the efficiency metrics for Hain went down and to get the ball out quicker means you're not kind of taking advantage of Tyre, you can water speed to get downhill and get open there.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love them.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't see kind of going into last season.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_02]: People love that offense just because, yeah, I mean, he was evolving the offense as we saw it, right?
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: Quick strike the pre-motion, just finding the gaps.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: It was almost a flawless strategy.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: It was like having hit third arm boxing.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I'd say I'm like slightly higher than probably consensus on Miami, but I'm not like gone, how about them.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, for me, it's online about.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: So just quickly, I'm going to make sure you check out our jack ad at sporttheseos.com.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm dropping my book sales to a hundred tomorrow, right?
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: So it's, you know, it's, it's different.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just, I'm going with my feels this time, and I'm not worried.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not worried about being wrong.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: because it's just, I was a little too worried about ever analysis list last year and I didn't want to guys to be too off, but now I'm like, nope, he's my guy.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's where he's going.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: And if I hate you, you know, you're out of a Brian's projection models will drop Thursday.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: So that's going to be dope.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_02]: Combined, you probably, you know, have a good shot.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: I want to hear me, at least I think.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: Um, another few brands, not high in the Rams, right?
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think there they might be the epitome of the great football team, terrible fantasy team, right?
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: They were outside of the top twenty two fantasy points for game, every position in subwriters, seever, Devont de Adams, thirty least pass that age cliff.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's toast.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: What is his third team in three years?
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: Um, it's, you know, I love Mutes and Puka, but he's injury prone.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: And Kyra Williams is the worst running back in the league who puts up great fantasy, of course.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, actually one person I'm like targeting late and I got him in like I've done like three best ball draft and I got him in all of them is two two.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, they paid him and he's now like I feel like that third receiver role is all his.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: And Puka gets his injury brown and Adams is just older.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: So potentially high risk for injury there.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: And they normally have like two receivers that are fantasy viable.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: So he's to me a nice late round shot that I like.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like that.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: I remember last year, everyone was really high in democracy Robinson.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: And we took a look out in the Cooper one up, but I was like to do this kind of a guy.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: So I like that.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: But like so kind of brilliant.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: You know, what was this longest touchdown run last year?
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't take it guess.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: Nine yards.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: You got to play the game fair.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: You cheated.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: Thirteen yards, right?
- 34:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that insane, right?
- 34:10[SPEAKER_02]: Is it's both the metrics are terrible?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: He breaks tackles.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: I give them that.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: But like he doesn't he's not great.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_02]: They're saving game.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's just there that offensive is like tackle that the three and then they're able to just run it in every time.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: Any of that's the like from a fantasy perspective, we all love like the big explosive guys, but at some point like this is kind of where projection tell puts like somebody just has to have the role.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: And he fills the role of running back on that team very well.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: So like from a projection standpoint, hiring Williams will look better than maybe.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: or he'll look higher in rankings, like projection rankings, where it's like what I would rank him and how I want him.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just because he's super safe and this kind of tells into something that I wanted to like mention is like there are different ways to score the same amount of points.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: You can have hand points throughout or you can have like you can start this season as like you're like five points, fifteen, like
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: you need people who will win you weeks because if you just have like above average everywhere and they're all safe, you're gonna like
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: You, I mean, if you look at it from like a betting perspective, you'd win money in fantasy when you win a league.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: You don't win a league being above average at every position because you're just going to end up barely making the playoffs and then losing to a team that just goes off.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: So if you do after they put up what you need, you put up with twenty five every week.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like it's frustrating, but you need to take that risk.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's where again, like looking at projections versus rankings and seeing, hey, like Cleveland's running backs.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I have them all kind of split, like, thirty, twenty, thirty type of rushing share.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: All three are just a two.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: Drew Floyd is a quick challenge judge case.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: Ian, then they have, I mean, I don't know about judge games without that going on.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: And they have the other guy Dylan Samson, the other rookie, I've heard good things about.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: Just like things to keep in mind of, hey, I don't know, maybe you heard something about Judkins legal case.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you're super confident on one of those, I would say, looking at the projection model, you could see, all right, they're all down, but I think this person could get way higher.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: You can kind of use the model to say, OK, here's room for opportunity.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: And you can be, like, you don't have to have all of our picks.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think our picks are well, but you can also use the data we give you to kind of make your best decision as well on.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jerome Ford still has solid running back and I want it.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: But he's kind of exactly your talking about he's slightly above average, right?
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: He's never going to have a hundred fifty yards and two touchdowns, right?
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: You might have ADL, purpose yards, a couple of receptions to the touchdown, which is fun to do your flags if he's your RV for, you know, but yeah, just from like a value standpoint.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, value, good value.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: But back to hiring, right?
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: You're saying he's safe.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he isn't.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: Because shopping phase is savage, right?
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: Cooper complices his guy.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: His favorite player.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: He got old and he was good, right?
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: So, right, golf took him to a Super Bowl.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: Did win.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_02]: So they got Blake Corr who may not be good, but Jarkas Hunter, they drafted.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes he got a guy at the street.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_02]: So I just think like if you used this top thirty pick or whatever, I forget where everybody is right now because he's low on my board and somebody comes in as better.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: Currents don't because he's he's very replaceable and we've seen where he's running backs like their shelf life is very short.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have the goods.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: You might be on the street.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I think what you're pointing out also was kind of good to know is like you're familiar with that offense.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: So you know that Sean McVeigh kind of likes to have that one running back.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: And if that one running back falters, you know another one's gonna get a chance to be the lead guy.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: So then those are kind of good backups to go after whether it's core or I think hunters the guy.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, okay, I don't know which one, but I know I think one of them's gonna be very good for me.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: So good late round target to go after.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: Another reason why I kind of like two, two is do a lot of eleven personnel.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: So that third receiver's gonna be on the field a lot.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: And they don't throw it, though.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: That offense is very at our cared, right?
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: And like Isaiah likely is a tight end that projections for me don't look the best just because it's being split with Andrews, but they run a lot of twelve personnel.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: They go heavy a lot because they like to run out of it.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: And if you can go heavy and still have Andrews and likely as receiving options, that's a pretty good.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: There's a pretty good receiving options to have to go heavy with so you can run or pass pretty effectively through.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: So likely is another guy that I'm pretty like I like the upside of a lot.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: He might be on the cover of the most sales to a hundred.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's like a Titan and I think ADP is like kind of twenty two, which is crazy because weak woman, he's a Titan and one, everyone used to ride a flavor line to pick up up.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: He would have an extra touchdown, but he was a quarter inch, right, to be KC.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: and then go to the end of the season, right?
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: He scores that touchdown against Buffalo.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: So like Lamar and Big Game's trusted, right?
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: Mark Andrews and Levintouch chances of position.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: He led the league, but he's twenty nine.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: He had that fumble and he had that drop.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they might easily pivot to likely over Andrews, but it may be twenty to twenty, but read some of them.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they stick with Andrews, but there's a chance for likely to go beat top five, tiny, and it's not that unlikely.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: Likely is likely.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: So he's almost must draft because if it tied in twenty two, like you could take trade with Bride, then you take likely likely his hits.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: You could then trade with Bride for the crown jewels.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: I do likely someone that I would love to pair with like kind of going back to previously like a hunter Henry.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: Where okay.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe I don't want to start him every week, but I know Hunter Henry is going to get four for forty, which is unfortunately very playable for tight hands and maybe he scores.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_02]: Not if you're in my fantasy.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, yeah, because you go tight and heavy.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: Would you leave him with your even with powers or McBride?
- 40:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm powers, but I it's just because
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: But, but pride, I just think this positive touchdown like regression, it's just so do.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_02]: I've been like Lee scored week, but Lee, we pull in.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: I just, but it's like, I just, I hate Kyler.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like, every time I watch you, he just tries to be crazy, because he's just, when he bent against him, he does that week too, right?
- 40:43[SPEAKER_02]: When Robert Harris is you here, it's like, hundred, thirty yards in first quarter.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: And then we banked up a bank on him, like on the road to Green Bay, it's just a total no show.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I hate having the grind tied to Kyler, but, um, no, it's tough, but, but yeah, powers have either suck Raiders, right?
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they brought it, uh, it's your Kelly, right?
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: Your old guy?
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: Is he, is he, I'm no good to play that super fast taste?
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I feel like he's kind of adapted.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: The issue with his offense when he was on the Eagles was there was like,
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: after a sea after like three quarters of a season, everyone knew what he was going to pull.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: Run.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: So if you have, if you have a elite talent, which I don't really think the Raiders do, what?
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: They have powers and they have.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_01]: Geno.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Geno.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Do Kobe Myers is solid.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: People like Jack Betts.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: The old line's not bad.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: And Geno Smith, I think, was top five in passing here.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like, what do we get?
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: What do we do?
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: So you have to super find the Raiders, but like, what do you think they're elite?
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: Lee, yes, eat Lee.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, they even fell off with Prime Chady McCoy, Prime to Sean Jackson, Prime Jeremy McLeod on the T and Michael Vick.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but so that offense even fell off with Chip Kelly, just because teams kind of figured out what it was.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's definitely improved.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was Ohio State last year.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_01]: That could be wrong with that, but
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they've improved.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: I like Gentilot.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the running backs where, like, I mean, you know he's coming into just the full workload.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't really say that about Judkins, Henderson, even Hampton, like, they brought in competition in Najy.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, I've gently, definitely top ten, probably top six.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 42:42[SPEAKER_02]: Overall?
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, running back side of the road.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: because I'm just worried because we've seen the rookie wide receivers, they can pop right away now, where you used to take a half season, right?
- 42:53[SPEAKER_02]: But these elite rookie running backs, I just, I like a precedent, right?
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like B's not, I think was the RBA.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_02]: Kimbs was like the RB nine last year.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Bucky was like, they're running backs don't really just take off right away.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_02]: So that's a little worry to invest like that early room capital in him, but he does, you know, if you're stuck into Barry Sanders all the time in your last season, you're gonna have my attention.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: I look at more of the Barclay Zekellia.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: Come.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: over B. John Gibbs, because B. John, what do you like out there or not?
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: He was still active in that offense.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: Gibbs still had David Montgomery, kind of, Zeke Elliott, and Barkley came in with, like, they were a top ten pick, and they didn't really, like, they came in as the guy.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: There wasn't much competition, like, unless, who is it?
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's a mere white.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if he's the top competition anymore.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: Adam, we're new to him.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're the friend of all me.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he had heard so.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just think he's he's the guy.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take that bet.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I failed in that bet.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: I took Clyde Edwards a layer when I thought he was the man, but then I also got Zika Lee at another year.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: So like, I'm willing to take the bet because I mean, again, it's a high risk I reward.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: I remember people were taking Clyde with their first ramp pack and I was like, I mean, like, really we've never seen this guy before, but they're like a Casey offense, Casey offense.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, I luckily I didn't buy it, but I don't think D&D's is not the still chance he's a bust, but and we're going to have the spike weeks, right?
- 44:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have two hundred all-purpose yard weeks, like you bang that.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, Ray, it's just, I worry the division, right?
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: Who's got a great run defense?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he and the city chargers Broncos.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's six teams where I'm not going to love the matchup, right?
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, that's that's showing real hesitation.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: I have, and it's that top part of the draft is just so stacked.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I think that why receiver room is what I'm looking at is do I still expect Jacobi Myers to get a twenty plus percent target chair because if so, like I mean, he's pretty highly rated in my projections.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know how much I trust him to keep that.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going?
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: Is Jack Fash going to be a guy?
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: Is Tray Tucker going to step up?
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think they got Thor Thornton.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_01]: Thornton, he's another rookie.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: They got a QB who they're turning into a wider receiver as another rookie.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like they have a lot of potential flyers that I'm looking at, especially in like, end of the baseball if I picked up Gino.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: But that receiver room is stuff I'll definitely kind of star after my draft and the waivers to just see, hey, what's going to happen here?
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's probably a bottom five wide receiver.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but and then the other thing with Gen T, right?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, if we're just talking about him, he'll use the all the light, the offensive.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: Go found Doug.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: Who are the raiders?
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: That was Eagle's coach.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_02]: We just talk about it with a chip Kelly and we break with stuff.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: He loves involving the running backs in the receiving game, right?
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think they always have like a twenty twenty five cent target chair.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like a G.M.T.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: so good in receiving a game.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's the thing that maybe puts it over the top, right?
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: If he's going for four for fifty every day with, you know, that's that's like a nine point bonus.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: That might be high.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_02]: But he's just getting these bonus things and then the touchdowns and the rushing yards, right?
- 46:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like he might just
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's this fall into a fifteen to twenty points every week.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and like that's kind of another reason I like gentie is the receivers aren't the best.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: So like he's they're going to find a way to get him the ball and then powers are going to have manufacturer touches.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: I must see powers is almost like the slot receiver and then maybe they have mayor play like your prototypical tight at.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, they talked to you.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's where they talked about like a mirror lot.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, let's let's we talk about Denver briefly, but Archie Harvey's like this guy that's really
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: You know, God people, I'm super high in him because I think it might be the best situation in the NFL, right?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Lord.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they want to run the Sean, Sean paint likes to run the ball.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: You got our mobile QB, right?
- 47:13[SPEAKER_02]: Which is going to take the pressure off him.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have a ton of great receiving weapons.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_02]: You got a great defense.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to be up a lot.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_02]: And why isn't he just going to just, again, fall into maybe a twelve hundred all purpose yards, ten twelve touchdowns.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: he might it's just sorry like they have.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: They have a lot of like very sub par competition and.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_01]: They've kind of spread that out a good amount where it's like.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_01]: Tyson baddy your biday got up on got some work to Liam McLaughlin still there.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: Adrog estimate they still have JK Dobbins like they clicked up him I could still I think JK Dobbins is gonna have the highest Russia on that team doesn't mean that RJ Harvey's not gonna be kind of the more like the best past catching weapon out of that backfield.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know That's that's one of the guys that I don't have projected that well, but he's like a very high potential pick.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: like I have Denver in general projected pretty well from like rushing standpoint I just don't know who's gonna get it all and that's that's somebody who I would target later on I don't his hype is so much that like
- 48:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably not someone going to end up with a lot because he's getting hyped up a lot and I just don't know if I trust it.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: No, of course.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think I bet on running back.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I could bet on like, oh, it's a situation, right?
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: And this is this is the Mona Lisa of situations.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_02]: I guess my the David is a great because like he's probably better running back, but he's in a replay to full season, right?
- 48:49[SPEAKER_02]: He's been with the IR every season of his career.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_02]: Last week, I'm not sure he only just four games, but still.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: One thing to think about with Dobbins is this was kind of some thing I was looking at was Greg Roman.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_01]: So he was the Raven's offence of coach for a long time.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: Lamar Jackson never threw it to the running back.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: Greg Roman left just to tell was like, he was flexible a lot of weeks because he would just get a bunch of dump offs.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: Dobbins went to the chargers with Greg Roman again.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: He got no passing game work.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that means he's not good in the passing game or if it just means the charges aren't going to pass to the running back that much.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: So he now JK Dobbins goes to a team that in Sean Payton that uses the running backs a lot in the passing game.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's somebody who I'm not saying it's going to happen, but he could like
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's somebody who I wouldn't doubt if they have like one of those late career one season like burst out.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: And RJ Harvey just can't beat him out.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: And J.K.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: Dobbins is the stud on that deep team.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but I'm not like putting it against.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: And that's, I mean, going to the charge, there's that's another reason I'm not really high on, I'm wearing Hampton because I just don't think he's going to get the past game work and he's going to be split up with Nasi too much to be super valuable.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, for sure.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but they get that situation is great, but not these never missed a game.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: So like you can't, there's not that upside is the kind of the same as where like at least we've driven, and understand, remember, see if it's in love with a football ball on the piece, kind of the old guard, like you can easily see the patch just like shift to him out and putting in the refute, right?
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, another people, we got a few minutes that full probably is going over an hour.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_02]: We got certificates that's a good for you.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_02]: That word.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so let's not use it, right?
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: Baking up always interested is the year after like the Pope's height sleeper team ever fell in love with Stroud.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_02]: They were kind of they still want to play off game.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: I see push KC, but you know, Nico got her digs got her tank got her.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: It was a mess.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_02]: The play going was terrible.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: They were third and long.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: The whole season and
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: The whole line is an abomination.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: What do we do with Houston?
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: Because Niko is my, you know, Niko is probably going to be in the cover of the most sales team owner because he's I have him higher than everybody.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: But what do we do with them?
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's shroud.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's he more like staffer.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a great real life QB bad fantasy QB.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: They got, you know, they drafted two guys from the same school.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think or two guys named Jayden.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: And they can brought in Christian Kirk.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that's another team I've been, I like had them note it down as a team.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: Who's going to be their second fast catching target?
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: Kirk, probably.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just think there's a lot of room for somebody else to take that.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where I'm looking at what Jaden Higgins or Jalen Noel, I think are the name.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: Jaden Higgins was one of the first non-QBs to ever have a fully guaranteed second round contract.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's second round.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: So like they obviously value him.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's somebody who.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's definitely somebody who I want to target later on.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's that rookie, wider shiver that has a lot of room for improvement.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_02]: And roll, but roll beside Dico is great, right?
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: Because I think like guy and you know, everyone's going to hold the ground.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: Again, like, I think Stroud is kind of proven even in a down year that he could carry to whether it was digs for a little bit or even tanked out for a little bit.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_01]: He, like, that second role was still valuable.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: It just depended who was in it.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: So if somebody can kind of stake that whether it's Higgins, I mean, maybe it's Kirk.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: He had a down year on a very down Jacksonville team.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I got hurt like that whole team was just, that's kind of like a throw away season.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 52:41[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he's bouncing back.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but that is like that second passcatching target is one that I'm going to try to kind of diversify my shots on later in drafts.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: So, but how does the projectors work with these?
- 52:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, the oloin.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's ranked last.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_02]: They got rid of Laramie Tumsell.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't do a ton to approve it.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_02]: Mixed is a hard do not draft for me, but how does that work as a projection?
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's like runny game versus is there is there even run block pass block considerations?
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of it is kind of efficiency.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: So like your plays efficiency, yards per play efficiency.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay, that's worth.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: And so like with Houston, they were very.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I actually used twenty thirteen's data.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_01]: versus twenty four team, just because I thought that team projected a bit better by twenty twenty three.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sorry, twenty twenty three.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, twenty three.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, twenty three.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty three.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty three day to versus twenty twenty four, because I thought that team projected a bit better kind of comparatively.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think I don't think they're going to be as run heavy with mixing.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was kind of a flash in the pan.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: They kept adding more running back to kind of take stuff off.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: They added Nick shove.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying Nick shoved to me great, but I just think he's going to be someone to spell mixing a bit more.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_01]: And mixing isn't going to get the light.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: sixty to seventy percent rush shares and every game is healthy.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that and then I do just project strout to be a bit better from a projection standpoint and efficiency.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's going to be as good.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: So like I picked twenty twenty three.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_01]: data and then I kind of reverted it back to the mean of twenty twenty four league averages so maybe he's not going to have a seven percent or like a seven yards per pass attempt league averages closer to like six and a half so like I kind of take the offense that I want or that I think will fit the next season and then I revert things back to the league average mean so I'm not projecting out I'm not projecting like massive outliers because
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: I just won't, in my opinion, you don't really win money doing that, projecting the outliers because you lose more of that.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it's more of like a safe bet on what I think this offense could look like moving forward.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I like that.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, like, Nico is sending four weeks, but he got heard first quarter, the bill's game, by him.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, let's say, Nico bis half the season, it tank was out.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: And he had half the season with Nico's shroud, and he was averaging like two hundred eighty yards, two touchdowns a game, right?
- 55:18[SPEAKER_02]: And he's at the offense.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: And in the back half, without Nico, he was out like, well, good, one eighty, and I got at a ten, ten touchdown interception ratio.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_02]: STVD goes to be healthy for the season.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_02]: Would you wait those games with the go healthy more than the words without?
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: Two of that's kind of one thing of like I picked the target share.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: So like twenty twenty four his target share.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the numbers on how many games he missed, but he was a eighteen percent target share and I know he missed a lot of weeks.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, five.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, five was five because he was of an all by fantasy.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_01]: So that's eighteen percent of the total targets for the team even when he was out.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_01]: So despite him only having eighteen percent, I projected him at twenty eight percent.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's like when he was healthy, that's about what he was getting.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how you'll see the difference in projections within Dries is, okay, whether it's Nico Collins, I'm trying to think, I mean, trying to think of other guys that that would be
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like for some reason, I can't think of why there's series where I had a bunch of injuries, but like, all of those, yeah, Puka, he was closer like, twenty-six percent, but with all the injuries, it's obviously lower.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, those are things I'm gonna update when I look at previous seasons and I'll kind of input based on what I saw from last season and I'm gonna assume injuries.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'll assume like prior injury, like I'm not assuming tank Dallas gonna play, but like, those are kind of things that I'll adjust.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so what's that same before we wrap up on these crowded wide receiver rooms?
- 56:51[SPEAKER_02]: They're a big team.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is what I've been writing about.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: We got indie.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: They have four guys.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_02]: Packers got four guys.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_02]: I guess nine.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_02]: There's got three with a tight end.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_02]: Let's start.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_02]: Let's start with Green Bay because we haven't talked about them, right?
- 57:02[SPEAKER_02]: Christian Watson showed that summer video.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_02]: He might be ready.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he's week five when I, who knows?
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: But they drafted a Matthew Goldman, burner out of Texas, right?
- 57:11[SPEAKER_02]: Jayden Reed.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: He was the, he was the wide receiver run in Leapwood.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_02]: And they got dogs.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: They got non-taintyed wicks.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_02]: Well, how does the, how do your projections work with that?
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Because everyone can't have a twenty percent target here.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_02]: So what, like, let's start with Jade Reed.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: What are we doing with it?
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's, these are kind of difficult players to kind of project.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_01]: I only have them at like a sixteen percent.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_01]: If you look at last season, they're the highest target getter was sixteen point four, and that was Wix.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Wix had the most targets.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: I, I, the good game, I think was sixteenth target.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that's, that's blows, blows, blows.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: And like one thing that I often think this kind of goes to somebody who I was pretty far below consensus on as a result of the quite the crowded wider silver room is Tucker craft.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: So he's projected a top pen tight end.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see it because you have so many options that receiver that like, that's just going to split the pie even more.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying he's a bad tight end.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: You have all those options.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: You also have blue plus grave who's a pretty solid tight end, too.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_01]: So like, I just can't in my right mind project him to be a top ten.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying he doesn't have the potential to kind of grab more.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: There's obviously canceling this whole.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, massive weeks, that's fair.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like there's potential in this receiving room to grab targets here.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know who's going to do it.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not going to take a bet.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'd rather take a bet on the fourth person in the room than I would pay up for the first.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: So that'd be more my strategy is let me take a late round bet because I don't want to lose out on somebody in a position where I know they're going to have more targets or more opportunities.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, but we've also seen that nobody really wants to rise to the top, right?
- 59:03[SPEAKER_02]: Watson's not a true, well, a jaded read hadn't struggled, Dodds is whatever.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_02]: So if doesn't golden, then have that potential because if you're the wife, see if we're willing to team, especially that's a high, that's a good team to be on, right?
- 59:14[SPEAKER_02]: They are explosive.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't, couldn't he really make the leap if he has a breakout work he sees it, especially where he's drafted?
- 59:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, part of this for me goes to like, what I prefer my receivers to be.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_01]: a golden to me coming out was almost more like that to Sean Jackson roll.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: I could be wrong and just kind of that was what I saw when I looked at him and like kind of draft projection style.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_01]: That to Sean Jackson roll has almost never been like a consistent fantasy option or like a wide receiver one option just because it's hard to predict.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's a great like wide receiver two three flex options just because you get the boom weeks.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_01]: But like
- 59:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying tats better than like technique milling is way better than gold in, but like he just projects more as that wide receiver one like that demands targets than I think gold in does.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_01]: So like if he went to green vague, yeah, I would say like they obviously saw something in him.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_01]: They really want this.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_01]: To me, gold and almost looks like insurance for Christian Watson injury.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just like, all right, I now can trust that Matthew Golden will be healthy and will stretch the field in a way that you can kind of like combine him with the rest of your wider receivers.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: You have a good room.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I still don't see anyone taking over that.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that's that big sense.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_02]: So what about in those situations where they have all these weapons?
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_02]: Are you more likely to target your love?
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: Because at least he'll be part of everything?
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's not, I mean, he's in a category that I'll shotgun QBs with.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's just, he doesn't run it enough for me.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: And recently I have despite being more late round, I've tended to kind of go with the more safe rushing QBs.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I still don't know why Hertz is sometimes behind like Joe Barrow in drafts.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've ended up with him in basketball leagues way more than I wanted to.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't even think it was me being a Philly like lover.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's just he tells to kind of fall.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't see myself getting love.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think a different version of love would be like a Caleb Williams where there's a lot.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's a new offense.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of weapons.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take the shot on Caleb Williams over Jordan.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_02]: for sure.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the thing with Hertz, I think, right, finally through the least amount of passes.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard to project defenses.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_02]: I know they lost some key guys in the secondary.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_02]: So by people are subjecting the Super Bowl winner to be an elite team, which means you've happened the fourth Hertz is throw the ball, you know, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, let's go Indy, right?
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's another one, right?
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_02]: We got Josh Towns.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_02]: We got Michael Pittman.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_02]: We got Alec Pierce, the Donnie Mitchell.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: And the Pierce led the League of York for a reception.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_02]: Pittman has got two fifth-top, fifth-dead season's career, but Josh Towns seems like he's the guy who's really emerging.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_02]: Are we the different philosophy that with Green Bay?
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_02]: Because also the QD situation at Wacens Market.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_01]: I tend to think Pittman and Downs are a step above.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_01]: So, and I think with Daniel Jones, much likely as a QB, I'm kind of increasing them more and more just because I don't like Richardson.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_01]: I like as like a fantasy QB more just because of course.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know he's half running back, but like Daniel Jones, I think will be way better for the past catching options.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I think downs and pitment of kind of shown.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_01]: They can be downs would be your more big play pitment.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be your kind of
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: In between the hash is like your short yardage receiver and can probably.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think we'll probably get more reception.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: So I like those two over at an iron pierce.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think pierce is kind of that the deep role.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I think pierce was almost better for Anthony Richardson because Anthony Richardson, which is run around and chuck it.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I like downs and pitmen way more with Daniel Jones.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: I make sense.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: Last one.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna wrap up.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_02]: So, Tambot, right?
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_02]: Godwin.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was the widers.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_02]: He was the widers.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, what do we do here?
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm with you, we agree, Bayfloss, me, give you the late guys and I'll ignore the stats, but there's also a huge, you know, God wouldn't have ends our true, true, wide receiver stats, or work.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I really like the lake guys in this morning just because God went and everyone's or older and they're probably more injury prone.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_01]: This is one of the situations where it's like, yeah, everyone's high on Baker.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I needed to push my projections down on the box to make Baker lower my rankings because he was way higher than I expected at first go.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I think Baker's another QBU I would be targeting just be
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I haven't been paying too much attention to ADP, but like I would draft him as a top eight QB.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's way above, but I think he's worth it.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if it's a sneaky rustic, I bet he's rustier.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's like every big A blast here.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_02]: And he went over every time we saw.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_02]: So that's it for us, right?
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_02]: So check out tomorrow the most sales.
