- 3:20Speaker 2: My prayer is that we all share this podcast and
- 3:24Speaker 2: get the word out. I think this is pretty good
- 3:28Speaker 2: content going through the word. I've been involved with Cavary
- 3:33Speaker 2: Chapel for years. This is where I've learned the Bible
- 3:38Speaker 2: and going through the Book of Revelation. It has done
- 3:42Speaker 2: two things for me. First of all, it assisted my
- 3:46Speaker 2: salvation because this is where I heard the gospel, and
- 3:51Speaker 2: this was the book that was represented to me at
- 3:54Speaker 2: fifteen years old. And I couldn't wait to get in
- 3:57Speaker 2: to the Kingdom, you know what I'm saying. But after that,
- 4:01Speaker 2: there was some crazy things. I need to write a
- 4:03Speaker 2: book right, all the stuff I went through because the
- 4:08Speaker 2: place where I heard the gospel was a home Bible study,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and the woman that taught it, she really did not
- 4:17Speaker 2: support us going to church because she had a bad experience.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I believe a pastor tried to have his way with
- 4:24Speaker 2: her or something like that. So she said, forget it,
- 4:26Speaker 2: I'm just gonna have home Bible studies. For so for
- 4:29Speaker 2: years I thought a Bible study was it. I didn't
- 4:32Speaker 2: really join the church. But when I got older, because
- 4:37Speaker 2: you know that you need power to do this walk,
- 4:39Speaker 2: you need the power the Holy Spirit that flesh my
- 4:43Speaker 2: hormones and all that stuff. You know, that home Bible
- 4:46Speaker 2: study couldn't keep me. So finally I had to go
- 4:51Speaker 2: to a church with Holy ghost power. But the teaching
- 4:55Speaker 2: was off. They were very legalistic and controlling, and so
- 5:00Speaker 2: I was introduced to Carrie Chappel first by verse, and
- 5:05Speaker 2: I ate it up like it was just I was
- 5:07Speaker 2: hungry for the Word because a lot of churches don't
- 5:11Speaker 2: teach it, and I'm not trying to talk bad about
- 5:15Speaker 2: a church or anything. But there's got to be a balance. Yes,
- 5:19Speaker 2: we need to preach the Gospel, and a lot of
- 5:22Speaker 2: churches they emphasize preaching, but after preaching is really for
- 5:29Speaker 2: the loss right after you receive Christ. So you need
- 5:33Speaker 2: to be taught as a disciple. And that's I believe
- 5:36Speaker 2: God has given me the gift of teaching, and that's
- 5:39Speaker 2: what my passion is. And so I love to read,
- 5:42Speaker 2: I love to get information, I love to get insight,
- 5:45Speaker 2: ask questions. And just like my wife, my wife Man,
- 5:50Speaker 2: she digs deep into the Word as well, and I'm
- 5:53Speaker 2: amazed at the stuff she gets out of it. And
- 5:56Speaker 2: so this is what I love to do my podcast.
- 6:00Speaker 2: This is very heavy on teaching through the Word of God,
- 6:03Speaker 2: verse by verse. Then we get into some music and
- 6:08Speaker 2: all that other stuff. So meet us here every day
- 6:13Speaker 2: at eleven o'clock Pacific Standard time, Monday through Saturday. We
- 6:21Speaker 2: first started out doing it Monday through Friday, but we've
- 6:24Speaker 2: extended it to Saturday, and of course Sunday it's our
- 6:28Speaker 2: day off because you know, we're in church worshiping God
- 6:33Speaker 2: on Sundays. We all should be in church, amen, And
- 6:38Speaker 2: so we love that we love that and also for
- 6:42Speaker 2: the accountability segment accountability department partner. Go to that top
- 6:47Speaker 2: leve menu drop down, go to his the podcast to
- 6:51Speaker 2: have go to his out radio podcast, and then fill
- 6:55Speaker 2: out that form. And I was talking to Zone the
- 6:58Speaker 2: other day. Really it's for self reflection. It's like a checklist.
- 7:04Speaker 2: At the end of every day. You should really before
- 7:08Speaker 2: you go to bed, you should go over it and
- 7:11Speaker 2: maybe start your own journal, maybe check these things off.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And I was saying that you need to fill out
- 7:22Speaker 2: that form every day, but after thinking about it, you
- 7:27Speaker 2: probably don't need to fill it out every day. Now
- 7:29Speaker 2: you're more than welcome to if it helps you. Do
- 7:31Speaker 2: it right, do it because it's a discipline that you're developing,
- 7:36Speaker 2: just like meeting us here maybe day at eleven o'clock.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You're developing a spiritual discipline. And without discipline, you're not
- 7:43Speaker 2: going to be successful in your relationship with God. So
- 7:46Speaker 2: this is a part of what's helping us. But just
- 7:49Speaker 2: by showing up, but also fill it out as needed.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But maybe you know, we want to report maybe once
- 8:01Speaker 2: a week, you know what I mean, Like, maybe instead
- 8:05Speaker 2: of filling it out every day, you can do it
- 8:07Speaker 2: once a week or as needed, but we do need
- 8:11Speaker 2: you to fill it out because that's where the accountability starts.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And that's what those who need help getting over sin.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Straight up, there's some sin out there that we need
- 8:22Speaker 2: help to conquer. Becomes a cycle, it becomes discouraging. We
- 8:29Speaker 2: think we can't do it, and that's where discipleship comes
- 8:33Speaker 2: from life or life. You know, when two or more
- 8:37Speaker 2: there's power and agreement, there's power and correction, instruction and rebuke,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and so that's what we are extending with our new segment,
- 8:49Speaker 2: the Accountability Partner. So that's you. We encourage you to
- 8:55Speaker 2: do that and we'll go over some of the topics
- 8:57Speaker 2: here online or we'll go over your situation and here
- 9:00Speaker 2: on the podcast with your permission, of course, because other
- 9:04Speaker 2: people may be struggling with the same thing. So a man,
- 9:09Speaker 2: I just wanted to highlight that and also check out
- 9:13Speaker 2: are equipped for battle prayer. It's a prayer guy to
- 9:17Speaker 2: click that link. That will help you in your prayer life,
- 9:21Speaker 2: all right, So we're giving your tools here on the
- 9:23Speaker 2: podcast because our model is that the ingrafted word is
- 9:29Speaker 2: able to save your soul, and that's it. That's what
- 9:32Speaker 2: we're here to do. We want to save as many
- 9:34Speaker 2: souls as possible, and we want to help as many
- 9:39Speaker 2: people as possible to cross that finish line. Amen. All right, Well,
- 9:45Speaker 2: hopefully I'll give you enough time to get your Bibles,
- 9:48Speaker 2: your notepads, and your highlighters. Turn with us to Revelation
- 9:53Speaker 2: chapter eight, and I'm gonna hit you with the New
- 9:55Speaker 2: King James. That's where I love to go, the New
- 9:59Speaker 2: King James. And we're gonna get some prayer going real quick.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Heavenly Father, we cannot understand this book without you. We
- 10:11Speaker 2: don't want to be anywhere where you're not. So we
- 10:14Speaker 2: ask for your Holy Spirit to take the lead. Holy Spirit,
- 10:17Speaker 2: saturate us with fresh oil today, help us to understand.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Oh God, bring us to the throne room together. Give
- 10:27Speaker 2: us a clear view, of clear vision of what's going on,
- 10:30Speaker 2: a clear understanding. We ask God that you help those
- 10:34Speaker 2: who need to be helped, deliver those that need to
- 10:37Speaker 2: be delivered, touch those that need to be touched, Encourage, instruct, correct,
- 10:44Speaker 2: hold us accountable, Holy Spirit, and we thank you for
- 10:48Speaker 2: this platform in the mighty name of Jesus. Ay man
- 10:53Speaker 2: and Amen. All right, so this is good, this is good.
- 10:59Speaker 2: So we're gonna see the last seal that is open.
- 11:05Speaker 2: As a little background, John was brought to the throne
- 11:11Speaker 2: room of heaven after he wrote seven letters to seven churches.
- 11:15Speaker 2: We see two different groups in heaven. We see the
- 11:19Speaker 2: Church and we see that the Church show rule and
- 11:23Speaker 2: reign with Christ. Then we see the tribulations saying those
- 11:28Speaker 2: who gave their lives to get into the kingdom, they
- 11:32Speaker 2: had to wait under the altar, and then finally they
- 11:35Speaker 2: were let in. They were giving white robes as well,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and their assignment is to serve in God's temple day
- 11:41Speaker 2: and night. Amen. And then we saw six seals were
- 11:47Speaker 2: actually five that were open, and we saw the four horsemen,
- 11:52Speaker 2: the famous four horsemen of the apocalypse that we've heard
- 11:57Speaker 2: about in all the effects some planet Earth. That's gonna happen.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It's gonna be a horrific time, a horrible time, and
- 12:05Speaker 2: now is the time to be ready, Amen, and and
- 12:09Speaker 2: stop playing games with our walk. So in eight chapter
- 12:16Speaker 2: eight we pick up in the same scene. John is
- 12:19Speaker 2: still in heaven and then they're finishing up the seals
- 12:25Speaker 2: and then where they're gonna go into the seven trumpets,
- 12:30Speaker 2: and we're gonna see what happens. Now we've seen already
- 12:33Speaker 2: people are dying. Things are taking place like this. This
- 12:37Speaker 2: is horrible, but we got another round to go. So
- 12:44Speaker 2: chapter eight, verse one says when he opened the seventh seal.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Now this is remember seven is the number of completions,
- 12:53Speaker 2: so this is the last seal. And this seal produces
- 12:58Speaker 2: silence in heaven. It says there there was silence in
- 13:01Speaker 2: heaven for about and half an hour. Now this is
- 13:05Speaker 2: significant to me because we just read that there was
- 13:11Speaker 2: loud voices like trumpets talking to John in the church singing,
- 13:22Speaker 2: And when the church got finished with their song, the
- 13:27Speaker 2: angels joined in singing. Everyone's shouting, praising God, casting crowns
- 13:36Speaker 2: before the throne. And then the second group comes up singing.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Then the angels join in singing with them. And can
- 13:43Speaker 2: you imagine all that activity and then all of a
- 13:47Speaker 2: sudden silence. So we have angels that are sitting there quiet.
- 13:54Speaker 2: We have the church and the tribulation saints sitting there quiet.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And sometimes silence can be sobering. So it was just
- 14:05Speaker 2: silent for about a half an hour. And I saw
- 14:08Speaker 2: the seven angels who stood before God, and to them
- 14:13Speaker 2: were given seven trumpets. That here comes the trumpets. Then
- 14:21Speaker 2: another angel having a golden censer came and stood at
- 14:25Speaker 2: the altar. He was given much incense that he should
- 14:30Speaker 2: offer it with the prayers of the saints upon the
- 14:33Speaker 2: golden altar which was before the throne, and the smoke
- 14:38Speaker 2: of incense, with the prayers of the saints assented before
- 14:43Speaker 2: God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer,
- 14:50Speaker 2: filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it
- 14:55Speaker 2: to the earth. And there were noise, thundering, lightnings, and
- 15:02Speaker 2: an earthquake. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets,
- 15:08Speaker 2: prepared themselves to sound. The first trumpet, the vegetation is
- 15:17Speaker 2: struck on earth. The first angel sounded in hell and
- 15:22Speaker 2: fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to
- 15:29Speaker 2: the earth, and a third of the trees were burnt up,
- 15:35Speaker 2: and all the green grass was burnt up. Second trumpet,
- 15:43Speaker 2: the sea is struck. Then the second Angel sounded, and
- 15:49Speaker 2: something like a great mounting, burning with fire, was thrown
- 15:54Speaker 2: to the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Third of the living creatures in the sea died, and
- 16:05Speaker 2: the third of the ships were destroyed. The third trumpet,
- 16:14Speaker 2: the waters are struck. Then the third angel sounded and
- 16:19Speaker 2: a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch,
- 16:25Speaker 2: and it fell on the third of the rivers and
- 16:30Speaker 2: on the springs of water. The name of that star
- 16:35Speaker 2: is wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and
- 16:42Speaker 2: many men died from the water because it was made bitter.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Fourth trumpet the heavens struck. Then the fourth angel sounded,
- 16:56Speaker 2: and a third of the sun was struck, a third
- 17:03Speaker 2: of the moon, and the third of the stars, so
- 17:07Speaker 2: that a third of them were darkened. A third of
- 17:14Speaker 2: the day did not shine, and likewise the night. And
- 17:19Speaker 2: I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the
- 17:22Speaker 2: midst of heaven, saying, with a loud voice, woe, woe,
- 17:28Speaker 2: woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the
- 17:33Speaker 2: remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who
- 17:40Speaker 2: are about to sound. Wow, man, this sounds like a
- 17:46Speaker 2: horror movie, you know what I'm saying? Like whoa who
- 17:49Speaker 2: can imagine? And we probably can't get the full impact
- 17:56Speaker 2: just by reading it today. It's almost like we're reading
- 17:58Speaker 2: a novel or watching a film or something. But this
- 18:04Speaker 2: is reality. This is real, This is really gonna happen.
- 18:10Speaker 2: So let's break it down. Looking at Pastor Chuck Smith's
- 18:13Speaker 2: notes in his commentary. He knows that there is silence
- 18:17Speaker 2: in heaven for about a half an hour after the
- 18:20Speaker 2: seven angels I mean seven seals is open. This silence
- 18:25Speaker 2: is solemn, a powerful pause before judgment. It's as if
- 18:32Speaker 2: all of Heaven is holding its breath. That's powerful. Now
- 18:39Speaker 2: this came with seven trumpets, and with them catastrophic disturbances happen.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Each trumpet brings judgment upon the earth. Now the first
- 18:57Speaker 2: hell of fire mixed with blood, burnt up a third
- 19:03Speaker 2: of the earth. Can you imagine grass and trees? Just
- 19:10Speaker 2: think of the vacation spots. We went to. My wife
- 19:15Speaker 2: and I went to Puerto Rico just last year, and
- 19:19Speaker 2: they had the rainforest out there and it looked like paradise,
- 19:24Speaker 2: like the grass was so beautiful, the trees, the vegetation.
- 19:29Speaker 2: We took a tour and it was nothing short of amazing.
- 19:36Speaker 2: If you haven't yet, I haighly suggest you take a
- 19:39Speaker 2: trip to Puerto Rico and check out the rainforest. Check
- 19:42Speaker 2: out how God has blessed us in God's great creation.
- 19:48Speaker 2: But then imagine that it's all burnt up and gone.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Places like that are gone in the second trumpet, something
- 20:02Speaker 2: like a great mountain burning and fell to the sea,
- 20:09Speaker 2: and then it kills the fish. And I believe it's
- 20:13Speaker 2: interesting that God even named this. It's like a meteorite
- 20:18Speaker 2: is named wormwood, right, and it destroys one third of
- 20:30Speaker 2: the fish, the vegetation, not the vegetation, but the sea life,
- 20:34Speaker 2: the marine life. When's the last time you've been to SeaWorld.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I've been there multiple times. And man, just imagine no
- 20:44Speaker 2: more SeaWorld, no more fish. The third trumpet, wormwood, a
- 20:53Speaker 2: star poisons the rivers and the waters. Well, maybe I
- 21:01Speaker 2: spoke too early. I think, Yeah, this is worm with
- 21:05Speaker 2: the third trumpet, not the first one. Now there's springs
- 21:10Speaker 2: of waters in the rivers. We live by Colorado River,
- 21:14Speaker 2: like my family and I, we love the water. We
- 21:17Speaker 2: love to go out there jet skin and my wife
- 21:20Speaker 2: goes crazy on them jet skis. Just imagine all that
- 21:25Speaker 2: bitter and it's gone. And then a third of the sun, Like,
- 21:35Speaker 2: imagine a third of the sun. Imagine a dark world.
- 21:41Speaker 2: We know places I've never been there, places like Alaska
- 21:44Speaker 2: where it's dark for like thirty days. Imagine how depressing
- 21:49Speaker 2: that would be, just being in a dark for that
- 21:53Speaker 2: long and the moon is dark and the stars are
- 21:56Speaker 2: darkened like this. Woo, belove it. We do not want
- 22:02Speaker 2: to be here. But this is the progression of God's
- 22:08Speaker 2: righteous judgment, not to destroy for destruction's sake, but to
- 22:17Speaker 2: make people aware, to wake people up, and to bring
- 22:22Speaker 2: people to repentance. We serve a gracious God because he
- 22:28Speaker 2: could have destroyed at all. But he's only doing a third.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Think about Noah in the flood, only eight souls were
- 22:37Speaker 2: delivered and the whole earth was flooded. He didn't do
- 22:41Speaker 2: a third of the earth. Back then, he did the
- 22:44Speaker 2: entire earth. At least he's being merciful. Now he's just
- 22:48Speaker 2: doing a third, and that's pretty significant. I'm gonna look
- 22:55Speaker 2: into that. Why a third, because even talking about Satan,
- 23:02Speaker 2: he deceived one third of the angels in heaven. So
- 23:08Speaker 2: that's pretty significus. Somebody do a study on that. What
- 23:11Speaker 2: is the significance of a third when it comes to
- 23:15Speaker 2: the Bible. Maybe it's tied to judgment. I don't know.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I haven't studied that yet, but that just kind of
- 23:22Speaker 2: popped in my spirit. Now that silence in heaven, that
- 23:30Speaker 2: HiT's pretty different. God's judgment isn't rushed it's thoughtful, intentional,
- 23:38Speaker 2: and it's not about fear. It's about mercy before judgment,
- 23:43Speaker 2: mercy before justice, mercy before consequences. God will always warn
- 23:52Speaker 2: and we've had that just recently in church. Just last Sunday,
- 24:01Speaker 2: God came with a strong message for the body, telling
- 24:07Speaker 2: us to get right and stop playing games with God.
- 24:11Speaker 2: In our apostle. Our pastor has a strong prophetic gift
- 24:16Speaker 2: on his life. Warn one of the sisters, he said,
- 24:20Speaker 2: death is coming after you, like you need to get
- 24:24Speaker 2: right now. That would be a powerful message to receive.
- 24:32Speaker 2: She received it well. But it shows this pattern like
- 24:38Speaker 2: God will warn us before he has to judge us.
- 24:43Speaker 2: And right before that Sunday, God convicted me. That's where
- 24:48Speaker 2: I got the accountability segment from because he showed me
- 24:53Speaker 2: that a lot of people are going to church today,
- 24:56Speaker 2: but they're still going to end up in hell. Crazy
- 25:00Speaker 2: part about it is that a lot of them are
- 25:02Speaker 2: in ministry. God will use him, He will still use you,
- 25:08Speaker 2: but that doesn't mean we're right. And so we're looking
- 25:11Speaker 2: at what sends, what cause you to go to hell
- 25:15Speaker 2: even if you're in the church. And so that segment
- 25:20Speaker 2: is coming up shortly. Stick with us and That's why
- 25:23Speaker 2: we even went one step further to hold each other accountable,
- 25:26Speaker 2: to to check in, like how you doing with your
- 25:32Speaker 2: walk with Christ? You know, because we gotta be disciples,
- 25:35Speaker 2: We gotta be help us to one another. Amen. Now
- 25:49Speaker 2: this chapter reminds us the clock is ticking, and it
- 25:56Speaker 2: reminds us that we must be ready a man. All right,
- 26:06Speaker 2: it's time for a quick music break and the way
- 26:09Speaker 2: we're gonna break it down some more when we come back.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Because I think this is good. Check out our sister
- 26:16Speaker 2: kid lead with Made New.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Let them think I'm crazy when I pop out with
- 26:36Speaker 3: who Made Me? I go blind to the side because
- 26:38Speaker 3: I can't let them people face me think it's different
- 26:40Speaker 3: in the side than my number legend Bride claiming we're
- 26:42Speaker 3: not reperen to be famous. We don't do this to
- 26:44Speaker 3: be blameless.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I do.
- 26:45Speaker 3: We don't want to saying you I had to cut
- 26:47Speaker 3: on my day once. Now they thinking I'm crazy.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I'm crazy.
- 26:49Speaker 3: I took a people the faith in and they staid
- 26:50Speaker 3: I'm gonna make it because it don't make this, but
- 26:53Speaker 3: my trust in God finna make wis. They stuck behind
- 26:55Speaker 3: no block on let my thoughts. I won't be caged in.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I love myself, I made whom I'm supposed to be,
- 26:59Speaker 3: nothing else. We don't fight the flesh and blood. They't
- 27:01Speaker 3: know with me, something miss down, I miss totally fucks
- 27:04Speaker 3: with pop with tree. I think I'm something else, something else.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Let's talk about it. God knows I ain't selling out.
- 27:08Speaker 3: The old me's lost and she would never be found.
- 27:11Speaker 3: They've been looking for us. She ain't coming back. When
- 27:13Speaker 3: she drowned and she was made new, and you and
- 27:15Speaker 3: I we bummed to her sound because she take the
- 27:17Speaker 3: doll up. Ever since then, she's been crowned and made new,
- 27:22Speaker 3: made new, Yeah, and she don't care about the comments.
- 27:26Speaker 3: She don't care about who don't like it? Because she
- 27:28Speaker 3: made new? Yeah, she made now, made knew. Yeah, and
- 27:36Speaker 3: she don't care about the comments. She don't care about
- 27:38Speaker 3: who don't like it because she made new, Yeah, made new,
- 27:45Speaker 3: made new. She don't care about the comments? Made new
- 27:52Speaker 3: way Okay. They might think you crazy because you pop
- 27:55Speaker 3: out on the daily with crazy fake about things that
- 27:57Speaker 3: darn see us too amazing. They might try to you
- 28:00Speaker 3: will it break you down? And they might hate it,
- 28:02Speaker 3: might try to break it up. And where you gown
- 28:04Speaker 3: it still your greatness. That might tell that your opinions
- 28:06Speaker 3: and how they're thinking different and.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Push you just to listen.
- 28:09Speaker 3: If you don't, they say you tripping. Might be keep
- 28:11Speaker 3: to see the vision, but others don't see the missions
- 28:13Speaker 3: from When they don't see the mission, they kick it down.
- 28:15Speaker 3: They won't hear it.
- 28:16Speaker 2: That's the cycle.
- 28:17Speaker 3: That's just how some people love that. Y'all won't like you,
- 28:20Speaker 3: But that cannot give me disturbage. When they try to,
- 28:23Speaker 3: I'll take them back in love our enemies, our rivals.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I break the cycle. I made new, made new. Yeah,
- 28:32Speaker 3: and she don't care about the comments. She don't care
- 28:35Speaker 3: about who don't like it? Because she made new. Yeah.
- 28:38Speaker 2: She may know.
- 28:41Speaker 1: May new.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and she don't care about the comments. She don't
- 28:46Speaker 3: care about who don't like it? Because she made new. Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 3: made new.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Our sister, kid, Lee, we've made new? How many of
- 29:05Speaker 2: y'all been made new by our Lord Jesus Christ? Come
- 29:11Speaker 2: on now, give us a hallelujah, give him praise. Amen.
- 29:16Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't care if you're and Walmart
- 29:17Speaker 2: listening to this where we at raise a hallelujah to
- 29:22Speaker 2: the Lord. Amen, He's made us new. Yes, thankful especially
- 29:27Speaker 2: in light of what we're reading right relation chapter eight,
- 29:34Speaker 2: God is going in on judgment all over the world.
- 29:37Speaker 2: We're gonna come back and uh yeah, this is actually
- 29:40Speaker 2: gonna be in another extended episode because there's a lot
- 29:44Speaker 2: I want to cover this. It's gonna be cool, so
- 29:47Speaker 2: stick with us. But right now we're gonna bring our
- 29:52Speaker 2: accountability partner segment in Accountability Partner. This is inspired by
- 29:59Speaker 2: math you chapter seven, verse twenty two and twenty three.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Are you a church goer on your way to Hell?
- 30:08Speaker 2: Am I a church goer on the way there? This
- 30:10Speaker 2: is a question we need to ask each other every day.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Are we in ministry just going through the motion and
- 30:17Speaker 2: there's no relationship? It just depended on our good merits,
- 30:23Speaker 2: thinking that we're just a good person. There's no such
- 30:26Speaker 2: thing as a good person. If you think that you're
- 30:29Speaker 2: good enough to go to heaven, compare yourself to Christ
- 30:32Speaker 2: because you gotta be perfect. That's why he died on
- 30:36Speaker 2: the cross to pay the price. Amen. So Matthew seven
- 30:43Speaker 2: two and twenty three says, many will say to me
- 30:46Speaker 2: that day, Lord Lord, have I not prophesied in your name?
- 30:51Speaker 2: And then I will be clear to them. I never
- 30:54Speaker 2: knew you depart from me.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Wow.
- 30:57Speaker 2: So our first segment we look that unforgiveness. The second
- 31:02Speaker 2: sin that can disqualify us is pride. Pride is deceptive
- 31:07Speaker 2: because it often disguised itself as righteousness, not scary. But
- 31:14Speaker 2: when our identity is built on ministry titles, spiritual gifts,
- 31:20Speaker 2: and religious rituals and routines rather than relationship with Jesus,
- 31:27Speaker 2: we're in danger. But why would Jesus say depart from me?
- 31:32Speaker 2: Because he wants our heart, not just our performance. Here's
- 31:39Speaker 2: the accountability challenge. Ask yourself daily? Am I serving to
- 31:45Speaker 2: be seen? Or serving from intimacy with Christ? Pride distance
- 31:57Speaker 2: us from God, but humility will draw us near. Remember
- 32:06Speaker 2: God always says I will resist the proud, but to
- 32:14Speaker 2: give grace to the humble man. That's a sobering Kurt
- 32:25Speaker 2: check right there. And I want you to act that.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I don't want you just to listen to this, and
- 32:32Speaker 2: I want you to be actively actively participate with this
- 32:38Speaker 2: segment because the follow through will help right help us
- 32:44Speaker 2: examine ourselves. So I want you to go to the
- 32:48Speaker 2: live chat that I want you to post it out there.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Just ask a question and I serve and to be
- 33:00Speaker 2: seen or serving from intimacy and then put a question
- 33:04Speaker 2: mark behind it. You don't have to tell us your answer.
- 33:08Speaker 2: That's between you and God. But I want to see
- 33:11Speaker 2: that you are. I want to hold y'all accountable, right
- 33:16Speaker 2: I want you to post the question am I serving
- 33:19Speaker 2: to be seen or serving from intimacy? That's what I
- 33:27Speaker 2: want y'all to do today. I'm gonna do it myself.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I'm doing it right now. Am I serving to be
- 33:38Speaker 2: seen or serving from intimacy? And that's the accountability question
- 33:44Speaker 2: for today. Ask yourself the rest of the day for
- 33:48Speaker 2: God to reveal that to you. Don't just answer it quick,
- 33:52Speaker 2: don't just think, you know, ask the Holy Spirit to
- 33:56Speaker 2: answer that question for us. Amen, And then that's between
- 34:00Speaker 2: got Remember, go to the app go to the accountability
- 34:07Speaker 2: form and go over it. If you feel that you
- 34:10Speaker 2: need help and you want to fill it out, go ahead.
- 34:13Speaker 2: If not, you can just fill it out once a week. Amen.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Babble trivia which trumpet judgment causes a third of the
- 34:27Speaker 2: water to become bitter. And you know, and nobody's doing
- 34:32Speaker 2: these uh trivia questions like whatever with that? I mean,
- 34:40Speaker 2: that's an option. You can do it if you want.
- 34:42Speaker 2: That's not an accountability thing, but I thought it would
- 34:47Speaker 2: be kind of fun man to switch it up. All right,
- 34:51Speaker 2: our next segment seeh News and you just want to

- 36:36Speaker 2: Just go to his how nation dot com and hit
- 36:38Speaker 2: that donations tab, and you can also donate on the
- 36:41Speaker 2: app itself. Now, the words Revelations eight shows us that
- 36:59Speaker 2: God is not silent forever. He's patient, but he's also
- 37:07Speaker 2: just let's live alert, humble, full of grace. Back to
- 37:20Speaker 2: our topic. Yeah, I thought it was pretty significant that
- 37:38Speaker 2: we see, Yeah, let me go back to it. We
- 37:46Speaker 2: see where versus it. Let's go to verse three and
- 37:53Speaker 2: let's look at this angel. Another angel having a golden
- 37:57Speaker 2: censor in his hand, came and stood at the altar,
- 38:06Speaker 2: and I thought it was pretty significant, the fact that
- 38:09Speaker 2: there is an alter in heaven. Now I know why
- 38:12Speaker 2: we have an altar on the earth. It makes sense
- 38:15Speaker 2: that the Jewish temple had an altar where they would
- 38:20Speaker 2: go and sacrifice animals. Right, there was sacrifice lambs, and
- 38:27Speaker 2: we know that was preparing for the coming of Christ.
- 38:31Speaker 2: And you know that in order for our sense to
- 38:37Speaker 2: be forgiven, that has to be shedding of blood. There's
- 38:40Speaker 2: a high price to pay for that. So why I
- 38:50Speaker 2: had to ask myself, why is there an alter in
- 38:52Speaker 2: heaven like the alter and earth? Made sense? And it
- 38:56Speaker 2: says that he was given much incense that he should
- 38:59Speaker 2: all for it with the prayers of all the saints
- 39:03Speaker 2: upon the golden altar, which was before the throne. Now
- 39:07Speaker 2: this altar was golden, and it was before the throne,
- 39:13Speaker 2: and so I dug into it a little bit. So
- 39:17Speaker 2: in the Jewish temple there were actually two altars. There
- 39:23Speaker 2: was an altar of sacrifice and there was an altar
- 39:27Speaker 2: of incense. And so this altar is the altar of
- 39:35Speaker 2: incense that is before the throne. Now I want you
- 39:39Speaker 2: to notice with me that this angel had a censor.
- 39:45Speaker 2: He stood before the altar, and he was given much
- 39:49Speaker 2: incense that he should offer it with the prayers of
- 39:55Speaker 2: the saints upon the golden altar, which was for the throne.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Now this is the other half. If you've ever wondered
- 40:07Speaker 2: where your prayers are going, if you ever wondered like
- 40:12Speaker 2: what happened to my prayers, If you thought prayer was
- 40:16Speaker 2: a waste of time, in insignificant, if you struggle in
- 40:19Speaker 2: your prayer life, which I have for years. I'll be transparent.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I wish I could say that I've always been a
- 40:25Speaker 2: prayer warrior. But this is the other end of our prayers.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Our prayers are going to this golden altar right and
- 40:39Speaker 2: is mixed with these incense. And incense always represents prayer
- 40:45Speaker 2: in the Bible. And if we've ever let an incense,
- 40:49Speaker 2: we know that it's like a smoke. It comes up,
- 40:53Speaker 2: it goes up in smoke, and it always fills a
- 40:57Speaker 2: room with a nice aroma. Words for in the smoke
- 41:03Speaker 2: of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, to
- 41:07Speaker 2: send it before God from the Angel's hand. So the
- 41:15Speaker 2: Angel raised the censor and gave it and offered it
- 41:24Speaker 2: to God before these prayers are answered. These are our prayers, beloved.
- 41:31Speaker 2: It shows us that God values our prayers. It shows
- 41:37Speaker 2: you that our prayer life is not in vain, and
- 41:41Speaker 2: it shows you that God partners with our prayers. Imagine
- 41:49Speaker 2: some of the prayer requests that are in this censer.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Let's just think about the souls that were under the
- 41:56Speaker 2: altar in the last chapter, well, chapter six, I believe
- 42:06Speaker 2: these were the tribulations saints that were slain during this
- 42:12Speaker 2: period of the Great Tribulation, and their prayers were how long,
- 42:17Speaker 2: Oh Lord, will you avenge our blood to those on earth?
- 42:22Speaker 2: They wanted vengeance. Those prayers are mixed up in this
- 42:27Speaker 2: instant that is offered to God. What about the prayers
- 42:31Speaker 2: for justice in the world. What about the prayers for
- 42:36Speaker 2: righteousness to be restored on planet Earth? They are all
- 42:41Speaker 2: mixed up, offered to God. And then the angel took
- 42:45Speaker 2: the censer, filled it with fire from the altar. So
- 42:51Speaker 2: this altar was on fire, this golden altar before the
- 42:55Speaker 2: Throne was on fire, and through it he threw it
- 43:01Speaker 2: to the earth. He took the fire through it to
- 43:03Speaker 2: the earth. And there are noises, thunderings, lightnings, and earthquakes.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Look at the power of our prayers, and I want
- 43:15Speaker 2: you to miss that. Look at the power of our prayers.
- 43:23Speaker 2: And so there is no sin offering. The second altar
- 43:32Speaker 2: is not in heaven. There's only one because Jesus paid
- 43:37Speaker 2: the price for sin for all eternity. That's all we needed,
- 43:43Speaker 2: the precious blood of Jesus. The price has been paid.
- 43:48Speaker 2: So the only alter that is left as the altar
- 43:53Speaker 2: of instance. And this represents worship prayer relationship, and that's
- 44:03Speaker 2: what God desires from us, not just ritual, not just
- 44:08Speaker 2: religious duty or works, not just your ministry. It's got
- 44:13Speaker 2: to be intimacy. That's the most important thing is our fellowship.
- 44:20Speaker 2: So the question I want to ask is are you
- 44:23Speaker 2: sending your incense? Are you sending your prayers to this
- 44:29Speaker 2: alter in heaven? The alter of incense, the altar of worship,
- 44:36Speaker 2: the alter of praise, the alter of prayer. We gotta
- 44:45Speaker 2: be doers of the word and not hears Amen. Man,
- 44:53Speaker 2: all right, well that is my time. Thank you for
- 44:56Speaker 2: sticking with us. But we started out doing this for
- 45:00Speaker 2: thirty minutes, but man, it's starting to extend a little bit.
- 45:05Speaker 2: So hopefully it's it's uh. You're sticking with us. Hopefully
- 45:10Speaker 2: it's worth it. Or not, then maybe I'll have to
- 45:15Speaker 2: tone it down again and try to stick to the timeframe.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I know the show is getting played on other radio stations,
- 45:22Speaker 2: so I apologize if I'm bumping into your time and
- 45:28Speaker 2: the other platforms, But we don't have a program. We
