Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody, Welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev. Hello,
- 0:07Speaker 1: good day, How I'm good. Just the reason why most
- 0:15Speaker 1: times when we hop on here and we're laughing or
- 0:18Speaker 1: smiling or being goofy is because just before hitting record,
- 0:22Speaker 1: I have to remind Bev that we can't start talking,
- 0:25Speaker 1: because otherwise we'll get into a conversation and roll with
- 0:28Speaker 1: it and like stop talking.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I gotta hit record, and then I wouldn't be recorded.
- 0:37Speaker 1: And then there's times when we end recording and we
- 0:40Speaker 1: start chatting about just our life in general, about other
- 0:44Speaker 1: things and I'm like, oh my gosh, we should have
- 0:46Speaker 1: recorded this.
- 0:48Speaker 2: That happens a lot.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Capturing those conversations is uh, it's a it always comes
- 0:58Speaker 1: back around in one way and that and we hear
- 1:00Speaker 1: it when when it's time, and I'm okay with that.
- 1:03Speaker 3: So it keeps you because we just don't plan it.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So there's no planning of any any of this conversation.
- 1:11Speaker 3: We might think about something that could be discussed or whatever,
- 1:14Speaker 3: like oh, hey, I got a topic or whatever.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And then you mentioned it when you come on.
- 1:18Speaker 3: It's like we find out that there is it's quite
- 1:20Speaker 3: relevant to our personal experiences.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yes, I was listening to Robert Grant on an interview,
- 1:34Speaker 1: and wow, I always love listening to him. He's got
- 1:38Speaker 1: such great insight. He does a lot with numbers and
- 1:43Speaker 1: the patterns of numbers and shapes and all the things,
- 1:49Speaker 1: and it's just really fascinating. Some of this stuff is
- 1:51Speaker 1: beyond my comprehension, which is okay. I'm okay with that.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's just it's great to listen to it and his
- 1:58Speaker 1: philosophies of how math and geometrical shapes show up in
- 2:05Speaker 1: our lives, in all facets of our life. But one
- 2:09Speaker 1: of the things he said, because they were talking about
- 2:12Speaker 1: a point of attraction, and hope they can say this correctly,
- 2:19Speaker 1: we stop attracting what we judge when we stop judging
- 2:24Speaker 1: what we see. And I was like, oooh dang, because
- 2:30Speaker 1: I realize the things I attract and I'm like, all right,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I attracted that, and I'll own that. And I think
- 2:36Speaker 1: about it and how it my thoughts and my emotions
- 2:40Speaker 1: evolved around it and how it came to me, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: I get that. And then I sit back and I
- 2:45Speaker 1: watch other people, especially people I spend most of my
- 2:48Speaker 1: day with at work five days a week minimum, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: I notice how they do the same thing. They judge
- 3:02Speaker 1: things or start talking about things, they get them riled up.
- 3:05Speaker 1: When those people or situations aren't happening, they're nowhere in
- 3:10Speaker 1: our vicinity. We haven't heard from the people in weeks
- 3:15Speaker 1: or months, But as soon as any kind of conversation
- 3:19Speaker 1: or energy is put towards their name or their behavior,
- 3:24Speaker 1: they show up, like within twenty four to forty eight hours.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It is wild and I'll just as soon as they
- 3:29Speaker 1: start talking, I'm like, stop talking about it. You want
- 3:32Speaker 1: to talk about this, you need change the subject, don't talk. Nope,
- 3:36Speaker 1: they keep going on, and if it's not they might
- 3:39Speaker 1: stop talking about it in that moment because I've said
- 3:43Speaker 1: something and I'm sitting there or with them, But as
- 3:47Speaker 1: soon as I leave the room or they start talking
- 3:52Speaker 1: to somebody else, it comes up again. I'm like, I'll
- 3:56Speaker 1: just sit and I'll just shake my head and like
- 4:00Speaker 1: let them, let them do what they're going to do,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and they'll see and then they're like, oh my god,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I got this email, Oh my god, this happened, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I just it's one of those I told you so moments.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Is like I told you, don't talk about them, don't
- 4:16Speaker 1: give them your energy. Won't you any of that. Just
- 4:19Speaker 1: let them be, let them do what they're going to do.
- 4:21Speaker 1: We keep doing what we're doing, we keep showing up
- 4:24Speaker 1: on our best versions of ourselves, we keep being supportive
- 4:27Speaker 1: of the businesses we keep doing. And so I I
- 4:34Speaker 1: to have such a clear statement that he said, and
- 4:37Speaker 1: it just like really resonated. I had to because the
- 4:41Speaker 1: lady the interviewer said, could you repeat that? That was
- 4:44Speaker 1: so good? Could you repeat that? And I'm like, then, yeah,
- 4:46Speaker 1: please repeat that. And so just to hear that in
- 4:51Speaker 1: that way, and a lot of times that's what we need.
- 4:53Speaker 1: We need to hear it in a certain way for
- 4:55Speaker 1: it to really sync in. So anyway, I thought that
- 5:01Speaker 1: was a good, good statement for this morning. Nice.
- 5:06Speaker 3: There's so much to impact from that. I mean, just
- 5:08Speaker 3: the Robert Granting. That's pretty huge, sharing the name so
- 5:12Speaker 3: that people can go look at it. The other thing
- 5:14Speaker 3: is we listen to some things and maybe we don't
- 5:17Speaker 3: understand all the things. But as planning seats for us too,
- 5:20Speaker 3: just like it is for anybody else, judgment has come up.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I've actually thought about some of the things that I
- 5:26Speaker 3: probably even have said on our recordings and how and
- 5:30Speaker 3: I've referenced my kids and my son in law and
- 5:33Speaker 3: all you know, all these people that I love dearly,
- 5:36Speaker 3: But in those moments I have a judgment. So it
- 5:39Speaker 3: goes back to that whole judgment thing, and it's recognizing
- 5:42Speaker 3: the judgment for me starts within because I have been,
- 5:46Speaker 3: I still have been so critical of myself.
- 5:51Speaker 2: That how can I love I thought about this last night.
- 5:55Speaker 3: How can I truly love my kids and my grandkids
- 5:58Speaker 3: and Freeman and everybody so much much?
- 6:00Speaker 2: But I can't show myself that love?
- 6:02Speaker 3: So how am I possibly loving them to the fullest
- 6:05Speaker 3: because I'm not loving myself to the fullest at this time.
- 6:08Speaker 3: So it's just this whole journey that I'm embarking on,
- 6:13Speaker 3: and I find it fascinating. But I also find it
- 6:16Speaker 3: in this time space reality that going within and being
- 6:21Speaker 3: more following my passion instead of being the nurture the
- 6:27Speaker 3: the I want to say nurture because the fixer part.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I recognize it that I have that still or I
- 6:35Speaker 3: operate from that space sometimes, but I'm less and less
- 6:39Speaker 3: and it changes the dynamics of everything. When you become
- 6:43Speaker 3: not that fixer, it almost it almost puts you. It's
- 6:47Speaker 3: not because I don't care, but it's it almost puts
- 6:49Speaker 3: you into that space of someone else from wherever they're
- 6:53Speaker 3: receiving the information or however they're perceiving things, might see.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It in a different way.
- 6:58Speaker 3: But for me, it's not my stuff anymore, and it's
- 7:01Speaker 3: not my job to go do this stuff.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And it's like, but then the scary thing is when massage.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Is in there and when everything else is in there,
- 7:08Speaker 3: I'm left with myself.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I'm left to process these things.
- 7:12Speaker 3: So I'm essentially removing distractions from my current reality. And
- 7:18Speaker 3: I recognize how much I pick up of someone else's energy.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I know, I talked about that a lot, and I
- 7:24Speaker 3: have an awareness of it. So I'm just saying that
- 7:26Speaker 3: because there's so many out there that are doing the
- 7:28Speaker 3: same thing.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And they don't even recognize it.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I was trying to even explain it to one of
- 7:32Speaker 3: the kids recently about well, you're at that moment when
- 7:37Speaker 3: that when an adult or a person comes in and
- 7:40Speaker 3: they're angry, And I said, and then as soon as
- 7:43Speaker 3: you go ahead and latch into that or you're like
- 7:46Speaker 3: hooked into that, because now they got all this energy
- 7:48Speaker 3: going to you, I said, there's an opportunity, right in
- 7:50Speaker 3: that moment to not take it on or to take
- 7:53Speaker 3: it on.
- 7:54Speaker 2: It's that simple.
- 7:55Speaker 3: And so and he started to say something and I
- 7:59Speaker 3: under stood at that moment that he wasn't understanding. So
- 8:02Speaker 3: it's like, again, I'll go back to this, the conversation
- 8:05Speaker 3: about Robert Grant. He may be saying a lot of
- 8:07Speaker 3: information that you do understand, and that's the only reason
- 8:10Speaker 3: you're listening to it to even open up to more.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Maybe not the only reason, but you're opening up to
- 8:14Speaker 3: more information that's coming out there and knowing that my
- 8:18Speaker 3: family or anybody that's in our vicinity, they're going to
- 8:20Speaker 3: receive that information the best way they possibly can in
- 8:23Speaker 3: that moment.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And that's okay because guess what, it took me to
- 8:27Speaker 2: fifty five.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And I recognize the kids, not that I because I'm
- 8:31Speaker 3: still growing through the process, but I recognize how evolved
- 8:34Speaker 3: all the kids are in the younger adults, and I
- 8:38Speaker 3: can see all the evolution.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I can see it.
- 8:40Speaker 3: And they may not be doing any exactly the way
- 8:42Speaker 3: I think it should be done, but my way that
- 8:45Speaker 3: I think it should be done, or the way that
- 8:47Speaker 3: I used to think it should be done, are from
- 8:50Speaker 3: programming that I've received.
- 8:51Speaker 2: In this lifetime and so then I know that it's
- 8:54Speaker 2: not true.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So then it leaves me in the space of, well, shit,
- 8:57Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm going to do anymore, because
- 8:59Speaker 3: I just have to be quiet and listening and hear
- 9:01Speaker 3: the next process or the next step, or the next wisdom,
- 9:05Speaker 3: the words, whatever, however it comes forward.
- 9:08Speaker 2: So it's been it's been interesting.
- 9:11Speaker 3: And then you come in, of course talking about the
- 9:13Speaker 3: judgment thing, and that's what I've been processing. So it's like,
- 9:15Speaker 3: that is a process. It's a process I feel like
- 9:18Speaker 3: for a lot of us because that's what we grew
- 9:20Speaker 3: up in. And and if you think about it, if
- 9:23Speaker 3: we just don't do the judgment thing, we're creating from
- 9:27Speaker 3: everything that we're looking at. Right, goes with the same
- 9:30Speaker 3: the statement that Robert Krant made. We're creating everything that's
- 9:34Speaker 3: around us, all of it. And it's wherever you want
- 9:37Speaker 3: to put your eye on, whatever you want to look at,
- 9:39Speaker 3: whatever you want to if you want to sit and
- 9:40Speaker 3: talk about that person. I've learned as soon as you
- 9:43Speaker 3: talk about that person, you know that person's in a call.
- 9:45Speaker 3: So someone might pop into my head and I'm like,
- 9:49Speaker 3: all then them last, that's right, that's right. It's like, no,
- 9:54Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Yep. I want to go back to to what you
- 10:00Speaker 1: were saying about loving yourself, and it's been said multiple times,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and the more I lean into the statement, the more
- 10:10Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I can see that that you can
- 10:12Speaker 1: only love others at the level you love yourself. And
- 10:17Speaker 1: so when somebody says to me I love you, I've
- 10:22Speaker 1: been particular. I would say, particularly with people that are
- 10:29Speaker 1: close to me, is where I think about. Because I've
- 10:34Speaker 1: been around them for many years, I got a sense
- 10:38Speaker 1: of what their relationship with themselves is. And it's like
- 10:49Speaker 1: knowing just from observation and my perspective, right, my perspective
- 10:55Speaker 1: is completely different from their perspective of themselves. But from
- 10:58Speaker 1: my perspective, it's a seeing or observing that they don't
- 11:08Speaker 1: love themselves or there's a little bit of it. And
- 11:13Speaker 1: again this is my perspective, how I'm viewing it from
- 11:17Speaker 1: an outside viewpoint. And so then I think, when they
- 11:25Speaker 1: say I love you, what is the level of love
- 11:29Speaker 1: that is being given towards me? Because they can only
- 11:32Speaker 1: love me at the level they love themselves. So it
- 11:37Speaker 1: becomes very interesting when you start to play with that
- 11:40Speaker 1: dynamic and really look at so you look at somebody
- 11:44Speaker 1: who doesn't eat healthy, is well over one hundred pounds overweight,
- 11:51Speaker 1: uses puts a lot of toxins in their body, and
- 11:58Speaker 1: gess has like runs from themselves because typically when we
- 12:03Speaker 1: when we're when we're ingesting things that are not healthy
- 12:07Speaker 1: for ourselves at a very high level. Then to me,
- 12:13Speaker 1: because I know that's what I did for myself, I
- 12:16Speaker 1: was suppressing the emotions and the the experiences I had
- 12:20Speaker 1: so I didn't have to face them or deal with them,
- 12:22Speaker 1: or I was tired of it just keep replaying in
- 12:25Speaker 1: my head. And and so alcohol was a way for
- 12:28Speaker 1: me to escape all that. And so tis to apply
- 12:32Speaker 1: that to what they're doing to themselves. It's like, what's
- 12:37Speaker 1: what's really the level of love that they have for me?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Or is it the idea that I'm here and all
- 12:45Speaker 1: the things that I do for them? Really is it
- 12:49Speaker 1: just the love of the idea that I'm here as
- 12:52Speaker 1: a as a grounding mechanism, as a safe space, because
- 12:58Speaker 1: the level of love that they have for themselves again
- 13:03Speaker 1: from my perspective, is not that much. So then is
- 13:08Speaker 1: it love or is it just the idea of my presence?
- 13:14Speaker 1: So anyway, I just find that interesting. And it's not
- 13:20Speaker 1: that I'm like, oh, well, you don't love me that
- 13:21Speaker 1: much because you don't love your I don't do that.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm just like, it's interesting to think about just what
- 13:28Speaker 1: that really. If we were to actually have a really
- 13:32Speaker 1: deep conversation about their level of love and what that
- 13:37Speaker 1: means to them and the way I perceive it, and
- 13:40Speaker 1: just really went deep with it, I think they would
- 13:43Speaker 1: find a much deeper and impactful truth for themselves. And
- 13:50Speaker 1: of course I would too, no doubt what the person
- 13:55Speaker 1: or people are not ready or willing to go that deep.
- 14:04Speaker 1: So I take it for face value. I take it
- 14:07Speaker 1: for that's what they know how to do or say,
- 14:11Speaker 1: and that's okay, and we just accept. And again I mean,
- 14:16Speaker 1: if you come to the judgment part is there's no
- 14:19Speaker 1: judgment around it. It's just an acceptance of this is
- 14:22Speaker 1: where they're at with themselves, and this is this is
- 14:24Speaker 1: how they know how to operate. And I've done it too,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I still do it.
- 14:29Speaker 3: So and how valuable is it to recognize all that
- 14:34Speaker 3: and then recognize the higher that we raise our vibrational
- 14:37Speaker 3: frequency by loving ourselves that we now actually give someone
- 14:40Speaker 3: else permission or give them an idea what that looks
- 14:44Speaker 3: like and what that might feel like, because it's probably
- 14:46Speaker 3: at this.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Point they don't know what that looks like.
- 14:48Speaker 3: They've it's been all these people that you know, you
- 14:52Speaker 3: go to the restaurant and you just say thank you,
- 14:53Speaker 3: but you don't you just say thank you because that's
- 14:56Speaker 3: what you're trained to do.
- 14:57Speaker 2: You just say I'm sorry, because that's what you were
- 14:59Speaker 2: trained to do.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You just say There's so many things that we do
- 15:02Speaker 3: because we were trained to do that way, or we
- 15:05Speaker 3: do it because and then this is even an instance,
- 15:08Speaker 3: we do it because we want something out of it.
- 15:10Speaker 3: We say we're sorry because we expect a sorry back,
- 15:13Speaker 3: or you know, and because I've been that person and
- 15:18Speaker 3: I've said I love you a million times. We don't
- 15:20Speaker 3: make eye contact. We just say I love you, love you,
- 15:22Speaker 3: and it's not a big deal.
- 15:24Speaker 2: You can you can feel it.
- 15:26Speaker 3: It feels flat, it doesn't feel full, and that's okay.
- 15:31Speaker 2: That's not a judgment.
- 15:31Speaker 3: It's a recognition from my space that you know, I
- 15:34Speaker 3: can recognize how things feel when someone genuinely says they're
- 15:39Speaker 3: sorry or they give an apology, or how do I
- 15:41Speaker 3: genuinely feel when I'm doing that, do I feel like
- 15:44Speaker 3: I'm supposed to? You know, do I feel like that's
- 15:46Speaker 3: a necessary thing? And it's really just looking at how
- 15:49Speaker 3: things feel again, it's right, it's paying attention to all
- 15:52Speaker 3: those things.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And then it goes back to.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Well, gosh, I could probably have a lot of apologies
- 15:57Speaker 3: just for bringing up people's stuff. It's like, it's not
- 16:00Speaker 3: not my stuff to be bringing up. But it was
- 16:02Speaker 3: my conversations. It was what I knew and then made
- 16:05Speaker 3: that made me recognize. You know, I would have considered
- 16:09Speaker 3: those narcissistic values honestly, a lot of that stuff. It's
- 16:13Speaker 3: talking about that stuff, and like, how look how this
- 16:16Speaker 3: is affecting me. So it's like my whole dynamics has
- 16:19Speaker 3: changed because it's like it's not it's not about any
- 16:22Speaker 3: about stuff. It's that doesn't ring true. It doesn't it
- 16:24Speaker 3: doesn't even feel good when I get done with the conversation.
- 16:26Speaker 3: If it doesn't feel good, I'm recognizing real quick, where
- 16:29Speaker 3: did I start not feeling good in that conversation. If
- 16:32Speaker 3: I'm watching something and I don't feel good, I just
- 16:34Speaker 3: don't watch it, you know.
- 16:36Speaker 2: You know, it's just paying attention to all those little things.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And then recognizing, you know, I'll stop for a second
- 16:41Speaker 3: and I'll look at the kids, my kids and tell
- 16:43Speaker 3: them I love you, you know, And then it's like
- 16:47Speaker 3: I think I told said recently, one of my grandkids
- 16:49Speaker 3: will say I love you. But I almost feel like
- 16:50Speaker 3: it's a reassurance thing, just like I need a reassurance.
- 16:53Speaker 3: So I'm recognizing things and how which you've talked about
- 16:58Speaker 3: a million times, how they're helping me to transform and
- 17:02Speaker 3: helping me to see things differently and helping me to
- 17:04Speaker 3: see the bigger picture, because all of it is how
- 17:07Speaker 3: how is this showing up for me? Like what do
- 17:09Speaker 3: I do with this information? And how am I processing this?
- 17:12Speaker 3: What am I doing that? Similar to this? Millions of
- 17:16Speaker 3: things right? And I will just go back to a judgment.
- 17:19Speaker 3: How can I, you know, have these amazing friendships and
- 17:24Speaker 3: stuff if I'm judging myself, because that means at some
- 17:26Speaker 3: point there's a judgment that's going on there too, because
- 17:28Speaker 3: it's to present to me an opportunity to either stay
- 17:33Speaker 3: the same or to evolve and see things a little
- 17:35Speaker 3: bit differently, or ask gosh, Amy you're doing that, how
- 17:38Speaker 3: did you get to that point? Or how do you
- 17:40Speaker 3: feel when you do that, or just sitting back and
- 17:43Speaker 3: observing and recognizing.
- 17:44Speaker 2: When Amy has these interactions with people, how does it feel?
- 17:47Speaker 2: What does it look like?
- 17:48Speaker 1: Oh?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yeah, she really did. She did say that. If you
- 17:51Speaker 3: keep talking about the person, you know, it's like the
- 17:54Speaker 3: it's like beatle juice, you know, you say the name
- 17:56Speaker 3: three times and it's like he just shows up right.
- 17:58Speaker 3: It's almost like the same thing. And we don't recognize
- 18:01Speaker 3: that we're doing it. We just start thinking about a
- 18:03Speaker 3: situation and there's a person attached to that situation. Now
- 18:06Speaker 3: you're bringing that person right back into the situation again,
- 18:09Speaker 3: instead of looking at it like you would look at it,
- 18:11Speaker 3: like how can I grow from this? Because as soon
- 18:13Speaker 3: as you put yourself in that space of asking that question,
- 18:15Speaker 3: you've totally shifted gears and you're not even feeling the
- 18:18Speaker 3: same way. And now it's not about the person that
- 18:20Speaker 3: was even involved in the first place. It was about
- 18:22Speaker 3: how is this triggering me? It triggered me for a reason,
- 18:25Speaker 3: but why? And the only way you're each person's going
- 18:28Speaker 3: to figure that out is by going internally and asking
- 18:30Speaker 3: themselves those questions.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yep, true that. And when when you're talking about
- 18:44Speaker 1: the judgment when we when we were judging others, we're
- 18:47Speaker 1: placing conditions on the on the relationship, which is conditional love.
- 18:53Speaker 1: And what we can do with the information in the
- 18:59Speaker 1: is when I'm thinking about people saying I love you
- 19:06Speaker 1: to me, and then if I choose to process or
- 19:10Speaker 1: think about It's not like I analyze every single person
- 19:14Speaker 1: who says I love you. It's just an awareness that
- 19:17Speaker 1: I have, And it's not a matter of judging them
- 19:23Speaker 1: at where they're at with themselves and their own self love.
- 19:27Speaker 1: It's a how do I feel receiving that from them?
- 19:32Speaker 1: And then when I say I love you to somebody else,
- 19:36Speaker 1: how deep does that self love go for me when
- 19:40Speaker 1: I share that with somebody? So if I look at
- 19:42Speaker 1: Bev and say I love you Bev, how much do
- 19:46Speaker 1: I feel that within myself? That now she's a mirror
- 19:51Speaker 1: of me? So she what's my level of love for
- 19:56Speaker 1: her as a mirror to me of what she represents
- 19:59Speaker 1: as my external being a reflection. So that's that's what
- 20:06Speaker 1: we can do, is improve on ourselves of the level
- 20:12Speaker 1: of love or the level of judgment that we have
- 20:15Speaker 1: when we're interacting with others, or when we're thinking about
- 20:20Speaker 1: other people or talking about other people having a self awareness,
- 20:25Speaker 1: what is the depth of my self love? And how
- 20:29Speaker 1: much am I judging others? Because I'm judging others, I'm
- 20:32Speaker 1: judging myself, which affects my self love. So it's a
- 20:37Speaker 1: it's a tool, it's a it's a tool to recognize
- 20:41Speaker 1: that you could use to improve yourself if you choose
- 20:44Speaker 1: to just be into better within yourself and when you're
- 20:47Speaker 1: you're you're better within yourself, that just automatically pours out.
- 20:54Speaker 3: It's true, and it's recognizing that because they're they're gauged too.
- 20:58Speaker 3: And if you if someone's in my experience that maybe
- 21:02Speaker 3: I recognize as not loving themselves very much, then it's
- 21:06Speaker 3: an opportunity for me for my own experience to look
- 21:09Speaker 3: at myself and ask, how can I love myself more?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Because this is being presented to me because I'm not
- 21:15Speaker 3: loving myself as much as I could be loving myself.
- 21:17Speaker 3: I love myself conditionally. How did I perform conditions?
- 21:23Speaker 1: Right?
- 21:23Speaker 3: It's like all these things that I've put I've placed
- 21:25Speaker 3: upon myself. I may have learned it from people that
- 21:30Speaker 3: were helping to raise me, but it's like it was
- 21:33Speaker 3: my choice to take it on and I took it on. Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 3: and then gosh, even now that we're having the conversation,
- 21:40Speaker 3: I can go back because I relieve my mom's been
- 21:42Speaker 3: on my mind a lot this week, but it's a
- 21:46Speaker 3: processing where a lot of my own personal programming, how
- 21:53Speaker 3: it's led me to this point that I've carried my
- 21:55Speaker 3: whole life fifty five years of someone else's stuff and
- 22:00Speaker 3: recognizing that, but now with this conversation, recognizing she just didn't.
- 22:05Speaker 3: My mom was seventeen years old when she had me.
- 22:07Speaker 3: It's like she was and go in traumas and you know,
- 22:11Speaker 3: things that had happened to her, And it's like she's
- 22:13Speaker 3: raising me from her own experiences, which is how we've
- 22:16Speaker 3: all been raised and how we've raised a lot of
- 22:19Speaker 3: our kids, and sometimes we who've done a lot better
- 22:22Speaker 3: job than our parents did, and sometimes not so much.
- 22:25Speaker 3: But it's just recognizing all that stuff and recognizing they
- 22:28Speaker 3: just didn't. My mom couldn't love herself, No one ever
- 22:31Speaker 3: taught her. So how do we change things? It's by
- 22:34Speaker 3: asking within, like how can I love myself more? How
- 22:37Speaker 3: can I love myself more than I've ever loved myself?
- 22:40Speaker 3: Because as soon as we do that, now our capacity
- 22:42Speaker 3: to love is so much grander than it ever possibly
- 22:45Speaker 3: could have been prior to that. And all that all
- 22:48Speaker 3: that stuff did, was created asking within to want to
- 22:52Speaker 3: fill that love and then want to share that love
- 22:54Speaker 3: with everybody else.
- 22:58Speaker 1: So there you have it. People, we're giving you tools today,
- 23:02Speaker 1: so use them to check. Look at yourself. What is
- 23:06Speaker 1: the level of self love that you have? How much
- 23:10Speaker 1: to time, attention, energy are you giving to other people
- 23:13Speaker 1: in judgment? And if you're judging them, you're judging yourself.
- 23:19Speaker 1: And so take some time when you're interacting with people
- 23:23Speaker 1: out in the world, or just practice. Practice with the
- 23:26Speaker 1: people in your house, practice with the people that you
- 23:28Speaker 1: work with, those people that you're around most of the time.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Then that's a good opportunity for you to practice. And
- 23:38Speaker 1: that's all it is. And don't judge yourself for where
- 23:42Speaker 1: you're at with yourself, because it's a practice. We're here
- 23:44Speaker 1: to practice and we're all figuring it out. So and
- 23:49Speaker 1: this is why Bev and I come together to have
- 23:51Speaker 1: these conversations because we're just sharing what we're noticing about
- 23:55Speaker 1: ourselves and what tools we use to help ourselves to
- 23:58Speaker 1: be and do better. And we want to share that
- 24:01Speaker 1: with you. So you could do the same. You can
- 24:03Speaker 1: be resourceful. You can share this video, you could share links,

- 24:17Speaker 1: many platforms. We're found on YouTube, Speaker, Spotify, Google Podcasts,
- 24:23Speaker 1: No podcast addic and Facebook and Instagram. So have or
- 24:31Speaker 1: be courageous. Be courageous and have the conversations yourself. So
- 24:36Speaker 1: in any aspect of what works for you, be a resource.
- 24:42Speaker 1: So with that, do you have any final words.
- 24:47Speaker 3: On One thing I would say is ask yourself, how
- 24:50Speaker 3: can I love myself more?
- 24:52Speaker 2: And see what comes forward?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Yeah? All right, my friends, to you time with Amy
