[SPEAKER_01]: All right, here's another football Friday.
• 0:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Rose can both camp or sunny South Florida.
• 0:16
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be sunny South Florida.
• 0:18
[SPEAKER_01]: When we travel up to Pittsburgh, you know, it's a big game for Pittsburgh, big game for us if we want to continue to get in and maybe squeeze a little wild card in.
• 0:26
[SPEAKER_00]: There are so many parts about this thing.
• 0:27
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we've been talking about and the dolphins been talking about narratives.
• 0:31
[SPEAKER_00]: And one of them is beating a really good team.
• 0:34
[SPEAKER_00]: on the road in cold weather late in the season.
• 0:37
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where they are.
• 0:39
[SPEAKER_00]: You warmed it up for straight wins.
• 0:41
[SPEAKER_00]: The vibe of the last sick.
• 0:42
[SPEAKER_00]: You got a lot of things.
• 0:44
[SPEAKER_00]: They look like a cold weather team.
• 0:45
[SPEAKER_00]: They can run the ball.
• 0:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: They're physical defensively.
• 0:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: They're getting takeaways.
• 0:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Keep people out of the end zone.
• 0:50
[SPEAKER_00]: But now's the bigger test in the last four games.
• 0:53
[SPEAKER_01]: So Joe, I'm going to go down the litany here.
• 0:55
[SPEAKER_01]: So your offensive line is kind of coming in shape.
• 0:59
[SPEAKER_01]: It really, really, really well against the run.
• 1:01
[SPEAKER_01]: You've got really four tight ends, including Brunskill, that kind of energizes this team.
• 1:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Might come up with some new things.
• 1:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, the water's been in the game plan.
• 1:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Now you've got now you've got a chance you have right who had a hundred and something you're on the right You got all he and so you know and and and and to a you know So two is in there and he's kind of the guy that may be the the question mark at this point of season on the other side Man that the game that they play defensively and the way that defense is playing right now You said they look like a team that can win in the in the in the coal that can can so They've got all the all the parts and pieces
• 1:41
[SPEAKER_01]: They haven't played that team that's going to be maybe the caliber of Pittsburgh.
• 1:45
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is a big test for them, but Pittsburgh needs it.
• 1:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Just as bad as been offered to do.
• 1:50
[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing everybody's kind of missing a little bit.
• 1:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I don't know how much you bind to stash late in the season.
• 1:55
[SPEAKER_00]: But the offense and defense for the Steelers is struggle.
• 1:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Twenty seven to twenty eight in the league.
• 2:00
[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't look like a playoff team.
• 2:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: They got some takeaways.
• 2:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, they got some breaks last week against the Ravens of pulled that game out some controversial calls in that game.
• 2:09
[SPEAKER_00]: But listen, I just think the dolphins, if we're going to talk about getting better and going forward everything you're doing right now and maybe maybe a chance it to play us.
• 2:20
[SPEAKER_01]: got to win this game for your coffee you can't think of the weather you can't you know you look we we've said this almost every if you want to be a playoff team you got to win this game you've got to win this game and and cut off the narrative of all they can't win in cold weather's game because this is not going to be a cold weather game this is going to be a bitter cold right game for both teams but now now now you look at Pittsburgh got Aaron Rodgers and DK Mekka those are the two guys really
• 2:45
[SPEAKER_01]: and you can't allow it to fling the ball down the field it seems like he always doesn't when they we did that you know it's a this is a game this this if you look at the if you look
• 3:04
[SPEAKER_01]: and what's going with this football team these last this month is really given this guys a lot of a lot of belief in themselves i think they trust that they're going to do things well and so this if if they don't do it this time i don't know i don't know what you do and and what does it say
• 3:18
[SPEAKER_01]: when it comes to this you know this this get mic out of there is kind of settle down uh... if you lose this game all those all those little they come out of all those things that we've got in the day surrounding him no matter what you're on it but you know some other thing you just had some that that i agree with so so
• 3:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Weaver defense coordinator often to coaching staff got a really good feel for what all these guys can do.
• 3:40
[SPEAKER_00]: And these guys believe and everything they're done enough right now.
• 3:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Mike's dialed up some unbelievable play guys wide open.
• 3:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Weaver's got six seven guys on the line of screenings doing a lot of different things.
• 3:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Those guys he trust them.
• 3:54
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't make mental mistakes.
• 3:56
[SPEAKER_00]: So they got a lot of good things going on.
• 3:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: And now
• 3:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Now's the time man, you can break it.
• 4:01
[SPEAKER_00]: We never have to talk about this cold weather thing again.
• 4:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: You leave it.
• 4:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Let them boo the Steelers at the end of the game as they're losing.
• 4:08
[SPEAKER_00]: A Mike Tolman's going off the field and get a big win in this game.
• 4:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's one of Mike's, Daniel's biggest game considering the hot scene and everything else.
• 4:18
[SPEAKER_01]: And look at what he's doing.
• 4:19
[SPEAKER_01]: The team's going out two days before the game.
• 4:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Two days before the game on an East Coast or on a, you know, on a, that would be a California.
• 4:28
[SPEAKER_01]: That would be a California trip, and I think the understanding with this is, is a, they want to get, they're going to practice there.
• 4:34
[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to get acclimated, they want to get acclimated to it.
• 4:38
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, you know, there's a conversation with Mike was that, you know, you know, if we, if we do the walk through on Saturday on Friday,
• 4:45
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know and then we got you know a long time.
• 4:47
[SPEAKER_01]: So this shortens the gap between practice and the game Practice at Pittsburgh game there practice later in Pittsburgh and kind of give more the time frame We'll see.
• 4:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're there.
• 4:58
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like they're grabbing and straws.
• 5:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're just trying to look for that formula It's gonna give them the best opportunity And I'll be it to me.
• 5:06
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really want to be in Pittsburgh
• 5:08
[SPEAKER_01]: for for for three goddamn games but you you have three days yeah but if they win that football game I'm all in hey man whatever whatever Mike's dealing right now he's been hot over the last month but see if we keep a rolling against a stealers not doing in Pittsburgh I you know what I many of the game we've gone up there Joe and seeing that black and yellow black and gold
• 5:29
[SPEAKER_00]: And then walked off with a frown on our way, we had a cold wind and a playoff game that I want to forget about.
• 5:35
[SPEAKER_00]: So this is this is a new time and they're playing great, new time, new game, hopefully a new win.
• 5:41
[SPEAKER_00]: See you guys next time.
