- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I got something better than fixing your RBF, and I'll I'll tell you what it is in a second because I want to read some of the texts that came in about this.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: I really like the one about the resting gen face.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: So this comes from Jen.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: My mom doesn't call mine resting bitch face anymore.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: She calls it resting jen face.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: And then my RBF shows more when I'm focused on the task I'm working on.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, I can understand that.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: But I guess my my question was, because everybody has there are levels of RBF.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Some people have it and you're like, oh, this person's just miserable.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: But then there's other people, it does have there's this odd little weird attractive thing about it sometimes.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: But what are they gonna go fix?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Are they gonna raise your eyebrows so you're more gleeful?
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: They can do that.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Yep, they can do that.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: They can they can pull up the eyes on the side as well.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: They can pull up the cheeks a little bit more.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: You know, put your fingers on your cheeks, Scott.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: And then pull it.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: I'm the happy! Yes, and then they pull up your smile a little bit.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's fine.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Look, you know, here's the thing.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Can I tell you what I'd rather fix instead of RBF?
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: And it totally doesn't require plastic surgery.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: What is it?
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: People that sound miserable.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: It's the dog park.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: But um there are people like that or man, I've told you I've had to make a phone call once or twice to a provider that unfortunately, uh well, fortunately, I have to use nice people.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: But man, when the one lady's on the phone, I it puts me in a place.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Let's just say that.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: I sometimes want to say, but I don't.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Sorry I inconvenienced you.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I did with this one person.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: This literally happened recently without being specific.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: I will not tell you where, and I will not tell you exactly what.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I love stories like this.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: They tried, first of all, they never appear pleasant when you're in front of their face or whether they're on the phone.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: And the minute that this person answered the phone, I'm like, oh hell, this is gonna be here it is, this is gonna be the struggle bus.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And uh, it was in regard to, it was the second time I had to call to have something taken care of because it wasn't they weren't able to get to it.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: And I was just following up.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Wasn't trying to be pushy, because you know me.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, most of the time I'm ridiculously pleasant on the phone.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Hey.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Call it what you will.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: At least you know you're getting something nice.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Well, when when they gave me the I already told you, that turned that flipped, that was an instant switch that flipped.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: I said, No, no, no, no.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: You did not already told me.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: What you did say is this.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: See, it's really scary to have a battle with someone that has a degree of a photographic memory.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes, there's a lot of crap I don't remember.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: But when it's something that's very specific and important, like I'm tuned in.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Not work.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, and uh, you know what I'm saying though?
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Like, like I heard the words that were said earlier.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And and then you know what kills me.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Would this be selective photographic memory?
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Yep, you're damn right it is.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what it is.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, we self-diagnosing?
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: I know a few of those folks too.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: And then, but the thing about it is, you know what I hate about it?
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: The second you correct a person like that, they suddenly become nice.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Why did it take that to make you nice?
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Why couldn't you just open that door?
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: So I'm not concerned about RBF.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: The fact that you look miserable walking up the street, I don't care.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: How about we work on your attitude?
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Yes, definitely.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Is there a surgery for that?
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Because I got a foot that can really help straighten it out up your ass.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: What's funny is when somebody has RBF and then they once you get into a conversation with them or they smile or they do something that's really pleasant, you are so thrown off.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Because I go.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Look what was in there deep down inside.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Internally, I'm like, oh, I wasn't expecting that.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: I guess I will be friends with them.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, I think we're working on the wrong problem.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: You're right, though.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: If you try to fix it, then all of a sudden you're gonna look like Ronald McDonald.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's not gonna work.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: It's not gonna be the same.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: So
