So if I ask: 你係學生嗎? Are you a student? Luna: Uhh... 係? Yes? Lucas: Yeah! Or 唔係. No. Good. Luna: Okay so 係 and 唔係. Got it. Lucas: Now 'please'. This one's 唔該. Slowly: 唔該. Luna: 唔該. Lucas: Exactly. Normal speed: 唔該. Luna: 唔該. Lucas: 唔該 is 'please' when you're asking for something, like a favor or an item. And it also means 'thank you' for services. Luna: Oh, so it's like two words in one? Lucas: Totally. Now 'thank you' for gifts or compliments is 多謝. You remember this from episode two? Luna: Oh right! 多謝. We used it with 幾好，多謝. Lucas: Yes! Good memory. So 多謝 again: 多謝. Luna: 多謝.
